Serving Japanese Ramen, transitional Vietnamese & Thai foods
Dined at this Asian restaurant during a trip to Sioux Falls. The service was initially good and our order was taken quickly. They have a nice variety of dishes and our orders were served quickly after placing them. We ordered a spring roll appetizer and they were good, hot, and fresh once they were delivered to our table. I ordered the pad see ew and it was a good dish. The other dishes my table ordered were also good as well.
Why did I deduct a star? Once we were served our food, we were rarely checked on and drinks got low and we had to call the server over to get those types of tasks done. I wish my dish had a little more of the sauce included in it too.
It was not a bad restaurant however and I would eat here again if I was visiting the city and somebody wanted Asian cuisine.
Wife and I come here every chance we get. We order different dishes every time and we are never disappointed! Food is delivered fast to the table seemingly impossibly fast and delicious and hot and everything you'd want. Menu prices are a great value for the food! We walked in receded ordered two different dishes and appetizer and drinks and we're done and out the door in under half an hour and just under $50.
Cannot recommend this place enough!
Found another Ramen restaurant! This makes my 4th to review and I’ve got to say, as far as the food goes, I’m glad I found it! It’s no secret that Ramen Fuji has been my favorite Ramen joint, that’s basically what I’ve been comparing all others to. I’ve been trying to decide if I like this better but both restaurants have their pros and cons, I think I’ve got to say that they both tie for first place.
The first thing that sets this place apart is the dining experience. Most Ramen eateries that I have found are fast food style, meaning you order and the counter and refill your own drinks. This is a full dine in experience, although, kind of a lackluster one, I’ll get back to that.
The food here is really good. The meat in the Ramen was not as tender as it usually is at Fuji but the thing I like better here is when they say something is spicy, it’s got substantial heat! I’ve been disappointed every other time I’ve ordered a “spicy” dish at one of these places but NOT this time! Both the Ramen dish and the Spicy Basil Fried Rice did not disappoint. For that reason, as far as food goes, I’ve got to give the edge to Ninja Ramen & Thai. Really nice work!
Getting back to the dining experience. Service was a little slow but not horrible considering there was only one waitress covering the whole restaurant. We were not checked up on as often as we should have been, refills were definitely on the slow side. Drinks and entrees were auctioned off (I explain this better if you have read some of my other reviews but this meaning they had to ask who got what, a no no and a pet peeve of mine). Food came out super fast but did not all come out at once, my wife and my son got their food within 10 minutes but that was several minutes before I got mine and I noticed the same thing happened to an older couple sitting next to us. This should not happen at a dine in restaurant! Even at McDonald’s they give you all your food at one time. Finally, it took a while to get our check. I was starting to wonder if we paid up front, another pet peeve of mine. Nothing worse than not knowing how to pay your bill and if it’s a dine in experience, the server should take care of you at the table. I’ve never understand why places like Frying Pan wait on you, bring you a check, then make you check out at a register. Hate that! However, the waitress did eventually bring our check and we did take care of it at the table.
I think the dine in experience could really help set them apart as a Ramen restaurant in addition to their legitimately spicy food but there is definitely room for improvement in that department. I don’t see it as a benefit as it is now, if you’re going to do dine in, you’ve got to do it right! If not? You’re better off following suit and turning this into a order at the counter like the other places. A sub par dining experience won’t do anything but hurt you, no matter how good your food is!
I had a fantastic experience at ninja ramen & Thai! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the tonkotsu soyu ramen, and it was rich, flavorful. Service was quick and everything came out hot and well prepared. This is a must try place. And I will be back!
Food here is excellent! I normally order in store and order to go. They know me by now, they are quick and courteous. Thank you Ninja Ramen for all the amazing food!

Rude staff. Understaffed. Long order wait times.
Really, really good! Probably the freshest and best tasting egg rolls I have ever had! We shared a huge bowl of ramen, and it was delicious! Highly recommend!
Honestly very disappointing experience. When we walked in there were dirty tables everywhere and no other customers. We were sat and ordered , got our food, not once anybody came by to refill our drinks. I ordered Ramen and I couldn't even eat it. The noodles had a horrible texture, the eggs were cold, and there was pieces of twine used to tie the pork in my food. Definitely not somewhere I will be visiting again.

They Pho beef soup is the best!!
This is an amazing spot. The servers are so nice. The food is amazing and the drinks are too. I will definitely be coming back.
Great food and prices just one server in a packed restaurant is not a good policy.
This place is a must stop every single I'm in Sioux Falls, the food is THAT good, plus great prices for the value too.
I love this place, food is always great and it's usually quite inside. Give it a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
We ordered delivery via Uber Eats. We appreciated that there are a number of vegetarian options on the menu, and enough variety for anyone.
Drunken Noodles with Tofu (Extra Spicy) - Large portion, good flavor, actually spicy, unlike other spots. Would order again.
Panang Curry with Tofu - Good, but should have requested it be made spicy. Menu specified that it would be spicy, but it was not. All of the flavor was there, it just needed more heat.
Egg rolls - Hot, crispy, and delicious.
The noodles in the chicken yakisoba were not cooked throughly. It tasted very salty and very sweet. I didn't like the taste. Also, the boba tea had no flavor. Not only that, the waitress didn't even bother to check in on me.
On a trip to Sioux Falls, we were craving some Thai soup and we were delighted with the Tom Kah served at Ninja Ramen. It rejuvenated my soul and helped with my sore throat.
The drunken noodles and gyoza were also quite yummy.
We arrived after a typical lunch time, were one of two tables occupied and the staff were enjoying their lunches too, so follow up service was a little relaxed - which was understandable.
Overall, good food. I'd visit again.
My wife and I traveled all over the country and our favorite thing to get when we travel is ramen. This place by far has the best ramen we've ever had and it never disappoints! Service is fast and I highly recommend ordering their appetizers! My wife and I eat here 1-2 times a month! Great staff!

Super Delicious! Great experience. New Ramen fav!
R1 Tonkotsu Shoutu Ramen
Best Pad thai we had in long time, it was spiced accurate and really nice taste. Will visit again for sure.
The quality of the food at this place have gone waaay down. The pineapple with chicken and mango with chicken use to come with the actual fruits and use to test really good but not anymore. Instead it just comes with dumped with a loooot of soy sauce. When you talk to the lady that's seem to be the manager instead gets upset about it. Please think of the food your providing.
Takoyaki is good, chicken is good it's all good let's order out ❤️
Service was nonexistent once food arrived. The food However was delicious. Hac the Cashew Chicken which came with sticky rice. Then asked for spicy. The server asked what level on scale 1-10 I chose 7 which came out with just the right heat level for me. The taste was awesome. I used some of the rice to soak up thw sauce. I'm sure that I'll return.
Delicious!
We got their ramen, fried rice, pad thai and. Service was quick but I would not recommend the food if you're looking for something good and authentic. Fried rice and pad thai was not good at all. The lady who took our order was rude and impatient with us even when we were ready to order when she came. Overall I will not go back.
This was a wonderful place to have Thai. They were very helpful with selecting menu items that were vegan and gluten free. The food was delicious.
Duuuuuuude. I've net my match. Normally I order the red curry, but tonight I ordered the beef yakisoba from Ninja Ramen. Options were no spicy, little spicy, medium spicy, extra spicy. I LOVE spicy. But I chose medium spicy. I almost started crying from the heat. The only milk product I had was buttermilk that I use to make restaurant style ranch. I literally sipped on the buttermilk and let it coat my tongue. As I kept eating. Because in all other ways it was delicious. I started moan crying for my kid to bring me the buttermilk. It was so hot. I might actually be dead and writing to you from heaven. Dear Lord. So. Hot. Anyway! It was delicious and next time I'm going to click "little spicy" and hope for the best 👊
Great food!
Always order take out so I cant attest to service or atmosphere, but the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen has the best flavor in town. The wife also really enjoyed her Pad Thai.

Spicy here is actual spicy and not American spicy! Food tasted good!
I tried 3 dishes and didn't like any of them. I love Thai food and have eaten many Thai places in different cities and towns.
The drunken noodles were quite bland. I ordered them to be a little spicy but I couldn't detect any spice.
I always get panang curry when I try a new Thai place and this was the least tasty version I have ever tried. I tried 2 bites and spit both out. It had a very strong fishy smell and odd taste. I've never had fishy panang curry before and hope to never have it again.
The tofu appetizers were more of a Japanese panko style than a similar appetizer at other Thai restaurants. I wasn't interested in finishing that dish either.
Unfortunately, I won't be returning here for Thai food.
Delicious. The dishes labeled spicy are ACTUALLY so. Pad Thai is delicious. Drunken noodles, bomb. Crab jalepenos are bangin. That's all I've had so far but this is the most authentic Thai food I've had in the states. Except the jalapeño thing but still yummy. I truly hope this establishment thrives.
The food was incredible and service was outstanding! The food was so delicious it had me dancing in my chair.
We have been looking for a good oriental restaurant since coming to SF. Our search is over. The food was excellent.
The best Thai place in the Midwest. My favorite restaurant in Sioux Falls. I always get the Pad Se Ew with tofu and I recommend you get the same.
I had ordered the Pinapple Fried rice. It did not contain pineapple, cashews, raisins, or scallions. It was made with carrots and onions which were not included in the description. Since it was delivered by Door Dash I could not return it for the correction.
Chicken ramen and rangoons! This was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Amazing!
I moved to Sioux Falls about 2 years ago, and since then I've been on a quest for a good Asian restaurant. And after trying overpriced mediocre restaurants all over town, I finally found a good place.
Ninja has had the most consistent and flavorful food in the three times I have tried it. I recommend the Cashew Chicken for those who like spicy food, while my wife prefers the Chicken Yakisoba.
The food is prepared to order and is always hot. During the week the place is pretty quiet in the afternoons, but weekends seem busy.
Also I love the online ordering options. Other Sioux Falls restaurants forces me to call in orders, and things can get mixed up in communication.
And I'm a big guy, with a big gut and I found that the portions are generous. Considering post 2020 inflation prices, Ninja is probably among the most reasonable in terms of food to price ratio.
I don't usually write reviews, but this restaurant has made me go out of my way to give a recommendation.
I Got to-go meals for me and the wife. My mango chicken was awesome would've given 5 stars for that meal. However, My wife's pad thai had 0 flavor. They literally forgot to put the sauce and seasoning in it. And you know what they say; when mama ain't happy, ain't no one happy. It sucks because its not like the shop is just down the street. I live 20 miles away.
It was not bad but not worth the price it was average.
The food was great. I love the soup that we ordered and the dumplings..
Food was awesome….service was great. Portions were large and well prepared. Family and myself were impressed. They have both spicy and non spicy dishes on menu clearly marked. We had a mixture of both. We will be back.
Tried this place again... No flavors that Thai food normally has. Asked for it to be a 3... Wasn't even close to spicy... Please save yourself some money and time... Find a different place
Service wasn't the best but food was excellent
Great food, but service is unfriendly and unpleasant. I was here with my daughter and waited for 30minutes just to get water and for server to come and ask what we want. After that food was really good, we had some leftovers and got so small box they could barely fit…
Service was good, adjusted order as requested since we can't do pork. Good was good. Spicy not very spicy but they had chili oil on the table so we added to our ramen. The broth was good! Mango Boba was great. Fast service too
We love this place! The food is very fresh and their service is attentive. I like the Pineapple Fried Rice which is served in a hollowed out pineapple.
Great food, friendly service. Would definitely come back again
Really good food here! Nice service, very friendly and helpful people. Loved my soup!
I had the Sapporo miso ramen and it was just like the ramen I had in Japan. Very authentic.
Waitress was rude from the moment we arrived. She also forgot our drinks and we had to remind her. This was after we had gotten our appetizers and main course. When I got my food, the potatoes were undercooked and hard.
Service alone is why we are never coming back.
The waitress was very rude and short, food was good but people Skills need some class room time on how to treat people
This is my go to restaurants. I love my beef noodles pho. We also het the green chicken curry which is very delicious.
Thought We would try this place. Easy to get to plenty of parking. Got there, and had to wait a bit for the server. Place was not busy. Once server came ask for drinks, and that part ok. Next we ordered appetizers, and then he took our main dish. I posted pics, of the menu, really hodge podge. N in bad shape, using printed sticky label for prices n menu is out of shape, next there a appetizer dish that came with chipped edges. Shortly after we got our appetizers. I mean 3 mins, the server started bringing one dish at a time. There was four of us. Total time for the last person was about 7 mins from start to finish of delivering four dishes n have yet completed our appetizer.
One dish was shrimp mango and the shrimp was over cooked. Rubbery. 2nd dish had chicken in it over cooked and dried. 3rd dish was shrimp with scallions. Did not find any scallion and 9 shrimp with a ton of honesty old tasting onions sitting in oil with not fully cooked bell peppers n dish was look warm. It was not tasty n not spicy.
Last was a pork shop it was cook descent. The rice in a bowl was hard not cooked throughly.
It was really disappointing to try a new place n only to leave disatified.
I do alot of dining. And this was the worst experience table for four 96.00 bit high for so little. I get inflation but honestly other places serve more for the bucks.
Muy rico amiga
Excellent curries! Every time has been great.
Excellent food. Friendly staff. I highly recommend the massaman curry So happy to have a good Thai restaurant in Sioux Falls
Great Vietnamese and Thai food. Ate with my family and all were satisfied. Service was excellent.
Excellent meal
This is THEE best PadThai I have ever had! …And I lived in Los Angels …
And the portions are very generous!!
Fresh food. Had the Mango Shrimp with spiciness to my preference. Delish!
Real good Thai
The food is absolutely amazing, love the setting as well. I wish we would have seen out waitress a little more than 3 times but other than that I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!!!
Good food poor staff.
Best pho in siouxfalls hands down p🙌
Great food
I stopped in one afternoon for lunch. The food was good and portion sizes decent for the price. The best feature is you can get all the dishes either spicy or not spicy. I'll visit them again.
Really good food and good service
The hostess help me order some good food. Very polite. I received my food in 15 minutes, Freshly cooked. Reasonable prices.
Very good! We had their pho 🍜 😋
Good vermicelli noodles but not the best
Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! My favorite spot to eat when i come to Sioux Falls! The pad thai is fabulous and the green curry also! I want to try everything on the menu!!! If i could give 10 stars I would!!!
I'm thai, I miss papaya salad (ส้มตำ) seem like just papaya mix with fish sauce. you know!In my country pre-school they can make it like this. I have no idea where they learn to cook thai food from? Tomyumgoong (ต้มยำกุ้ง)Massaman curry(มัสมั่น), fried chicken (ไก่ทอด) It never even close to original thai food. I never try thai food like this before its terrible. I'm not picky person but Its true. Please don't broken our famous thai food. 😞😓😩😤😡😠 and so sad both of us were diarrhea.
It was late when we got to town. They were open, fast, friendly service. Enjoyed the dinner!
I stopped here about 3 times, foods are likely no favors. Price is high, but I been here about 3 times and my boyfriend doesn’t like it at all.
There pineapple fried rice was great.
Excellent service and wonderful food!
Amazing!! Fast service, and lovely decor. Server was so sweet, and the food was nicely plated along with tasting phenomenal.
OK so first time here. Heard good things about it. Figured why not. Welp got there and wasn't busy so got sat right away. Server was ok. Menu was kind of small for what I was expecting. Now on to the food part. Ordered 2 appetizers, fried pot stickers and shrimp mermaids. Pot stickers were good. Shrimp was over cooked. Really chewing and rubbery. Took maybe 3 minutes after ordering to receive them. Kinda shocked actually. Was able to eat maybe 2 pot stickers and a shrimp mermaid before our order got brought out. Now that was some freaky fast service. From order placement to getting main dish was maybe 10 minutes. So food break down, broccoli was raw, which is good but a quick saute or Blanche would of been great. Mushrooms were full of flavor. Shrimp, well back to the appetizer, over cooked and rubbery. Whatever sauce it was mixed with was extremely salty. Plus it was oily which on its own tasted old and gritty. Shrimp also had a raw fishy smell. So ya. Tried the spicy chili oil on the table that's house made. That was made with recycled oil that they have so that was very disappointing. Probably won't be going back.
The food was delicious!!
We know what we like and tend to order the same few dishes at the same handful of restaurants week after week, but tonight we decided to explore something different. This little place, with its delightfully vivid Asian decor, proved to be a winner.
Having had some unpleasant experiences with spicyThai food in the past, we asked the beautiful Sophia if we could get a curry dish at spice level 2/5. She didn’t seem to understand, but promised to give us “little spice.”
The spice level was just a smidgen below what I would have considered perfect, but it was close enough that I didn’t bother to add any of the spicy enhancements available on the table. The flavors were exquisite and the texture of the potato and carrot chunks was just the way I like it. The coconut-milk sauce was delicious.
My wife and I always share a single dish. We would have liked a little greater quantity, but for the price it was certainly a reasonable portion. The imported green tea made a perfect accompaniment.
We will be returning regularly, and can’t wait to share this place with some of our dining companions.
Had the Mango Chicken and Chicken Satay. The actual skewer chicken was just a hair dry, but the curry/peanut sauce was good. The Mango Chicken had fresh ingredients and plenty of mango. I'll be back to try more!
Very tasty food and I recommend their tai tea.
Sioux Falls was greatly in need of a good Thai restaurant, we finally have one! I had the Spicy Basil Chicken (Ghai Pahd Bai Ga Prow) and it was excellent! My wife and son tried it as well and they both liked it.
Also had the Pad Thai and it was good but not as good as the Basil Chicken. I saw a lot of items on the menu that I will be trying.
Update: Pad Thai continues to be a go to restaurant. The Spicy Basil Chicken is still a favorite along with the Ginger Chicken and Spicy Beef Asparagus
Horrible place to eat no flavor what so ever and staff was rushing us to order and was on here phone while we was there and didn't ask for refills or nothing lack of seasoning on there so called "pho" and the meat was as bland. will not be coming here again
Great food and service. Large portion sizes. I had the shrimp pad thai. There were 6 nice sized shrimp and tofu. Very fresh. My only complaint was that is was very cold inside.
This is definitely the place to go for a great meal. It was awesome and we'll be back soon. The curry dishes are tremendous. Thank you so much.
This was my first time here. Food was fresh, delicious and service was very quick. Staff was pleasant and very nice. Will be back again.
I don't want to say too much, just to not be too rude, but they really need to work on their pho beef noodle soup, this is my second time and it's not good at all, I'm not coming back again 😢
Delicious. I like noodles and having great dishes to choose from is wonderful! Their drunken noodles comes with a unique twist - cherry tomatoes which freshens the taste to one I've never had before.
On a -6° night, I wanted soup. When I want soup, I want some sort of Asian, slow simmering soup that makes me think of my mom's kitchen. So Pad Thai isn't authentic Thai food, but it is good south East Asian food. I had the fried dumplings, hot tea and beef and noodle soup (aka pho). My only real complaint was that I didn't have Thai basil but rather regular basil which comes close, but doesn't quite hit the same mark. Service was very quick, I bet I waited less than 10 minutes for my appetizer and entree to come out simultaneously but everything was hot and delicious.
I have been here several times to eat. I've always been very happy with the food, and the prices. Preparation of the food is always quick, and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Clean, food came out in just a few minutes. Curry was 7/10. Spring rolls were soggy and just ok. Service is below average. It’s one of those places you’d grab a bite, if you’re other Thai restaurants weren’t available.
New to the area...giving all the local Thai places a chance. My measuring stick is the Tom Yum. This had to be the worst Tom Yum I've ever had...3 pieces of shrimp and no lemongrass. Lemon chunks substituted for lemongrass. Very few vegetables added. My wife had the Mango Chicken, which was good, not great but it saved our evening. Portion size was small for the price.
Food was good, not great, and also overpriced, but marked this place down mostly because the waitress tried to upsell drinks, appetizers and desserts—not appropriate for a restaurant! Every time she came by she tried to sell us something. At a Fast food place maybe, but not a sit-down restaurant.
First I want to say that the food tasted good. However, I felt rushed to my table and didn't feel the liberty to choose my seating although the restaurant was practically empty.
I wanted a particular entree but instead of crispy noodles I wanted pad Thai noodles. They would not allow this. This was the first time a restaurant had refused such a request that I now of.
This made me wonder two things: was the food already premade and briefly heated up or did they simply not like my request.
They offered me to get a child portion of pad Thai noodles along with the entree I desired but I went with the pad Thai only.
Then my wife ordered a dish but desired a child portion but they would not grant this to her. This was upsetting to me initially.
Perhaps they had good reasons, not sure.
Lastly, a friend ordered a chicken Thai noodle soup. It was fabulous!
Good food but could be better service.
Wonderful place for lunch or dinner. The service is always fast and they don’t rush you. The menu is more refined than many Asian restaurants, which offers some less traditional dishes that lend themselves to more creativity and fun flavors. Try the Mango Chicken…absolutely incredible. They do have some transitional dishes as well, but this is a perfect restaurant to find something you’re comfortable with or something completely new. A welcomed addition to the Sioux Falls food scene.
The fried pot stickers are delicious. The pineapple rice was a great presentation. I had the beef with asparagus. Veggies were cooked to perfection and the sauce was not in the least overwhelming. Highly recommend. Only four stars for timing of food coming to the table. My wife got hers first and mine came 10-15 minutes later.
Horrible food! Food was stale and had a weird smell.
Pho was delicious and had generous portions!! Service was spectacular.
It was great! Food good and hot, service was awesome!
It's a very clean place and the food is great I had the spring rolls the appetizer and I have the beef noodles.
So. Good. I had red curry with chicken, it was perfection. A very nice coconut flavor with the right amount of spice to kick it up. Incredibly fast service, to boot. Others in my party had the mango chicken (definitely enough to serve 2 in that order!) and garlic shrimp. Both were very satisfied, and again, served incredibly fast! I hope this place gets the attendance it needs to stick around, bc it'll be nice to not have to make my own curry every time I get the craving.
So, so good! Our party had three different dishes, each was served up beautifully! Each had a unique and delicious flavor. Service was fast, server courteous, establishment clean. Highly recommend!
They were sooooo nice and the food was delicious. It looks like they're going out of business so go now or forever hold your peace
Always fresh and delicious! Dishes are presented beautifully. We make a point to stop here when in town.
Food was great.
Over priced not authentic
Not great. Lacking flavor and overpriced for what you get.
Not Thai owned or Thai flavor. Don't recommend the sticky rice at all either. It tasted like it was microwaved. It was dried out and hard. The tea? So watery. It was not at all an enjoyable experience. The best part was paying the bill and leaving.
Seated immediately. Fast service. Food was delicious!
We stopped for lunch and ended up ordering a shrimp dish and two chicken dishes. We finished all 3. A+ Will definitely recommend
Food was served very quick, great quality, great taste, and great service!
This place is absolutely disgusting! The basil chicken doesn’t even taste like chicken and the basil makes it so gross 🤮. I don’t recommend this place to people that are picky. It is also very overpriced. 12.50 cents for an appetizer WOW .I will not be coming back here again. I’d go to Olive Garden over this place or a buffet.
Wow amazing food
so so
Food made with love. Very friendly environment. Pineapple fried rice smacks.
Quick service. Delicious!
Awesome place. I'm a big fan of traditional sticky rice and they have it here.
Very quick service, had food out in 15 minutes from ordering. The food was very flavorful as well. Definitely would go back again.
Great atmosphere! I've been thinking about the curry I had there on Sunday all week! Will definitely be going back!
Very good
Not good pho at all, for the money you pay.
Pad Thai was terrible, better to enjoy it from a kit. Thai iced tea without coconut milk? Huh?
Amazing Thai food that is so lacking in this city! Fresh and vibrant food and great service. We finally have a great Thai place!
