This place is a gem! The food was soo good. I got mango chicken curry and shrimp spring rolls (koong krabok). Omg do not leave until you order the Roti dessert, trust me you will love it. It’s like airy fried dough heaven. The staff was lovely and so kind! I’ll be back.

Crispy red snapper, sauces on the side. Spicy Papya salad to start was very refreshing and complimentedthe red snapper entree. Very flavorful, fresh and consistently prepared with a high standard of care for what the customers enjoy. The staff service is excellent, going out of their way to please. A sweet treat puff pastry, Roti ended the meal.

I highly recommend their pad Thai noodles and Thai fried rice! They are so delicious and their prawn shrimps as a topping was the cherry on top. They have great lunch menus from Tuesday - Friday and discount diner menus from Tuesday - Wednesday all day. I highly recommend their Thai Ice Tea, very similar to a boba tea without the boba balls... Their Shirley temples are very good as well. I'll be back! Thank you Aruni!!

The place overcharges for food. The food isn’t authentic thai cuisine. They overcharge because the population is mostly caucasian and they aren’t use to this kind of food. So they are taking advantage of the people. I ordered a tom yum goong soup and it didn’t taste how it is supposed to. They took 25 minutes to make it and it tastes like it took 10 minutes. I also ordered a thai ice tea and it took them almost 30 minutes to have it ready. Save your money and go to Queens or Manhattan to get good thai food.

THIS IS NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY I ordered by phone and was told after I ordered and they took my credit card info that I had to wait for delivery for 45 minutes because they don't start dinner deliveries until 5:30 I cancelled my order but when I checked my credit card they had run my card when I called they denied it and told me to talk to the bank don't trust them with your information

Since I was here last I got a different dish it's called Pad se ew with shrimp it was delicious I've been eating here for a while and the food is always good

The place looks great on the inside and on the outside. The waitresses are nice and it has a nice environment. When looking at the menu, there were not a lot of options for vegetarians and the meat here isn’t halal which limits a lot of choices on the menu. I got the Thai iced coffee and it was alright but I wouldn’t recommend it, instead I would recommend getting the Thai iced tea. It tasted better than the Thai iced coffee

I’ve been to Durian a few times since it’s opened. A few times with a big group and a few times for date night. Each time, the food has been super good and tbh very filling. The homies are eaters and the short rib and seafood dishes did the job, not to mention their plentiful options of appetizers and noodle options.

I haven’t had a bad food experience here and can’t really foresee that. They kill it every time. Drinks are on point as well.

Food is good, but they need to have better service and more comfortable chairs. They are too hard.

We generally have good experiences w both durian locations for take out. In the most recent one, one item was missing and when we called, the woman refused to believe us. It wasn’t worth the time to drive 20 minutes to address in person so instead I’m out $25.

We will stay on as customers (food is good) but will absolutely be checking every single from now on.

We are so happy to see this new restaurant in New Rochelle. We liked Durian in Larchmont so it’s so nice that that they opened a branch here!! The lady in the front is always friendly and courteous. The interior is clean and inviting. Food is so much better than the other Thai (Red Lotus) restaurant that used to be in the lot. We’ve done both dine-in and take out.
We don’t understand why they don’t see more traffic- maybe if more customers will notice it’s a new restaurant ppl will try it out and realize how nice it is?

I was driving down on Main Street and saw the restaurant on the side of the street. It caught my attention and I decided to try it. I simply loved the food from the appetizer (spring rool), main course (Drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp) and the dessert ( fresh mango with sticky rice and coconut cream). I even ordered my dinner (pineapple fried rice with shrimp) to take to work. The kitchen service was fast, the food was delicious and the hostess and server was amazingly pleasant. I wiil definitely recommend this place to bring your friends and family.

environment was nice and food was what you expect for standard thai fare. Price was a bit high for portion size and there was no utensils with our take out order.
I will say that the discount on our first order was a nice surprise.

Once in a lifetime food at this place! Wow - So I came in on a busy Friday night, around 8 PM, and I didn't have a reservation, but I was seated immediately. The waitress got us water right away and took our drink orders. I ordered the Bangkok Duck, and my wife ordered the Lad Prig Whole Red Snapper. From the first bite I took, I was instantly impressed by the quality of the duck, and the crispy-ness of it. Very tasty, the sauce was perfect, not overly saturated. Portion was huge and it came with rice as well. My wife's fish was outstanding, and the balance of flavors was definitely on point, the chef really knows how to perfectly cook these dishes! As we finished our meal, the waitress asked us about dessert. I had to try their famous Mango Sticky Rice, and it was delicious. A perfect end to a great meal. The staff was super helpful, attentive, and friendly. This was our first time trying this place, but certainly not our last. This quite possibly could become a weekly outing for us! I highly recommend this place to anyone who love Thai food!

They allowed me to make a 830pm reservation I got there at 840pm and they told me they could not serve us because the kitchen was closed. I asked what time do they close & I was told 10pm, so I asked them why would they accept our reservation if they knew the kitchen closed at 10pm, the hostess couldn't even give us a straight answer. I wouldn't reccoment going there.

This place use to be Red Lotus and I was a customer for years. I really loved this place. I was shocked to learn it was sold. Today I decided to give the new place a try. I ordered Por Pia and it was extremely greasy. My friend ordered Kui Chai (Thai spring rolls) and the wrapper was way too thick. The chicken satay was ok. Then came pad see ew with chicken. It was very bland. My friend had pad Thai which was also bland. How Thai food can be made bland is beyond me! Red Lotus food was full of flavor. I guess the cook didn’t stay cause the difference in the taste was totally different. What a shame! It’s one and done for us.

Not ready for prime time. We've been to Durian in Larchmont many times and this outpost is certainly far superior to the Thai restaurant that was here before. They seem to be doing a thriving take out business and my recommendation would be to do that rather than attempt to eat in. First complaint = no beer or wine and you cannot bring your own. Second complaint = it took over 10 minutes to get a cup of tea, water was luke warm and served in a small receptacle with a spout that was for sauce. No cups or way to make hot water. Two waitresses -- one who knew the menu and what she was doing walked away every time I was in the middle of talking to her or asking a question so I never really knew what to expect. The other one did not have a clue and dishes not as described. So again, food when it came out was very good, I just ordered the wrong thing for me due to lack of knowledge of first waitress and I had nothing to drink other than water or luke warm tea. Seems like they need to get their act together, but you should do fine with take out.

I’m so happy that they’re open a new location in New Rochelle. I went to Durian in Larchmont a lot and I loved the food there. Tamarind shrimps and fish lad prig were very incredible. Last time I tried their dessert “Khao Naew Durian”, loved it.
