The spice levels were a bit mild comparatively speaking, I’m normally a spicy level 3 but could’ve gone for a 4 here. This did NOT take away from how great the food tasted.

Definitely go try this place! The service was excellent and the flavor profiles were better than most. We tried the jungle curry w chicken and pork pad Thai. (Side note - I’ve only seen green peppercorns on TV cooking shows 🤣 so I had to Google whether or not to eat them. You can. They’re delicious.) First time coming here, and it was such a great experience! Papaya salad and lao sausage were delicious. Servers were so nice and attentive and overall made our experience that much better! Will be coming back :)!

Food was meh. Crab fried rice list “lump crab meat” but it’s just claw meat at best. The Pad See Ew tasted like budget soy sauce and cheap beef. Budget ingredients don’t bother me but you got to know how to transform them into yummy dishes. What I ate wasn’t satisfying. I wouldn’t eat here again. Just my opinion.

This place is amazing the environment atmosphere, and overall vibe of this place could not be any better. I ordered a Boba drink the guy that made it did a great job the consistency flavor. Nothing can beat it and don’t let me get started about the service the server, tuan and Gavin were attentive and friendly, and the food couldn’t be any better. I will definitely be back.

I've been eating at the Matlock location for over 10 years. They told me they opened up a location closer to my home. This location is okay but I don't like the service. I ordered my regular noodles which normally come with 2 limes. They didn't give me the lines. I asked for them and a couple extra. She acted like it was a problem and still only gave me two. I'll continue to go to the Matlock location. It's worth the extra drive

We just tried this place for the first time and had the best experience. I had the Pad Kee Mow and my husband had the Pad See Ew. Both were exceptional and some of the best Thai food I've had in a long time!! The service was also great. Definitely recommend and we will be back soon!

Fresh and tasty! We had yellow curry and pad Thai with chicken, salad rolls with shrimp and would definitely order it again.

First time eating there today. I got the chicken and shirmp thai fried rice and it was really good! I can't wait to try more things on the menu. I'll be back soon for sure.

The Laos sausage and papaya salad was amazing 🤩 we also had the orange chicken and the crispy beef dish and everything was made well and tasted great.

Staff was courteous and venue quaint but clean. Takeout was hot but both dishes lacked flavor or seasoning that’s prevalent with traditional Thai dishes. It’s not the worst but there’s no incentive for me to try it again.

I have had better Thai food. And honestly the portions were not impressive. Not enough protein in the curry.

My friend recommended Sunny Thai. My very first visit, I was impressed. The service was amazing. I could not find my favorite meal on the menu, so I gave a description of the meal and they knew exactly what I was looking for.

The food was absolutely delicious that I went back the very next day and they remembered which meal I wanted. Employees are fantastic.

I continue to love Sunny Thai. I was introduced to them via the Arlington location and now, I am able to visit the Mansfield location. I live about 30 minutes away and happily stop on my way home from Mansfield.

Food - always very very good. We often get steamed or fried dumplings with chicken, pork or veggie rolls, tom kha with chicken, green curry with chicken, pad Thai, and recently we started to explore their fried rice. We've had crab fried rice (6/10), herb chicken fried rice (10/10), Thai fried rice (10/10). I do not add spice, as I get the spice tray to control the spice level because I share it with my family. We also recommend the taro/lavender smoothie (my daughter loves it), and I will get the Thai tea, as a treat.

Service - this is an added bonus. They remember who you are, and it's open seating. They are very nice and attentive. This is a small establishment for dine in. If you choose to dine in - the service is quick and yes, you very well could be in and out in 30 - 45 minutes. Which is just fine with us.

Pricing - I feel the pricing is fair and right in line with all restaurants now.

I strongly recommend this location for fresh, made to order, Thai food. If I lived closer, I would eat here more often!

The fried rice was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Thai fried rice with beef,pork and shrimp. The only complaint I have is that the portions were a bit skimpy on the to go order. I would definitely recommend this place.

Super great service and the food was absolutely delicious!! Our waiter was so attentive and nice. I accidentally ordered a dish and didn’t realize there was egg in it (it was on the menu, I just overlooked) and my son is allergic and THEY apologized to me for something that was my fault and completely remade the dish for free.

I didn't like the food...that's not how stir fry should be... the vegetables were soggy and chicken too stringy and chewy.

Tasted like old food. Have been to their other location in Arlington so ordered take out at this location but the pad thai was tasteless. They are ready to charge extra for anything you ask but worst food quality of food. Waste of money.

I’m so happy I stopped here today and tried it out! The service was beyond great!!! Every single worker was smiling and extremely welcoming. The staff even sparked a conversation while we waited for my to-go order, which wasn’t any longer than 10 minutes. I tried the “Peanut Delight” and it was delectable & very flavorful. I didn’t feel grossly full or super empty- just right and comfortable. The spice level here is 0-5 and I got a 3, wasn’t too spicy (at least for me) I will definitely be visiting here in the near future. Best customer service I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. :)

The Mansfield location has been a hit or miss on how sauced up the food is, one time it tastes very bland, the next it tastes amazing. I am not sure if the cook is unaware of how much sauces to use , but I gave this location the benefit of the doubt 3 times now, and it continues to be a hit or miss. I will stick to the Arlington location where the food always hits.

Delightful meal experience! We received our meal piping hot from the kitchen. Each dish was chock full of fresh vegetables and spiced to perfection. Our dessert of sticky rice with mango and coconut ice cream was amazing! Definitely going back again!

Sunny Thai in Arlington is in Yelp’s Top 100 Restaurants. I used to live near that restaurant but never visited it. Now I live in Mansfield. After reading how good it was, my wife and I drove back to Arlington to try it. It was as good as other reviewers said it was. I wrote a review on Sunny Thai Arlington.
Last week, I discovered that Sunny Thai opened a branch in Mansfield. This one was much closer. Just a few minutes away. This was a deal that was too good to miss! The question was “Is it as good as the one in Arlington?”
When we arrived at noon, the place was full of customers. Just like the one in Arlington. The man sitting at the next table ordered several dishes without looking at the menu. He must be a regular customer.
My wife ordered the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) and I ordered the Panang Curry as a baseline test. Did the restaurant pass the test?
With flying colors! Our order came very quickly. How did they do that? We also ordered Mango and Sticky Rice for dessert. Everything tasted delicious. We cleaned our dishes. Our only regret was that we ordered “mild”. We should’ve increased the spice level just a little.
The service was quick and polite. One waitress brought two small plates and spoons for our dessert. She noticed that we were sharing the Mango and Sticky Rice.
We are coming back. Next time, we’ll order a higher spice level. I’m so glad Sunny Thai is now in Mansfield too.

Went for a late lunch and glad I did! This place is cozy, very clean, very well executed. The staff was amazing. Attentive to every need, very helpful with menu and suggestions. After an amazing meal, I learned each dish is prepared to order, in clouding a small bowl of soup. No big pot here, you bowl is custom prepared....who does this anymore! Speaking of soup, we had the egg drop and Tom Kah and both were amazing. For lunch, we ordered the crispy beef, and the garlic chicken. Portions were huge, meaning we brought home almost two additional meals. Great value, great experience and highly recommend. Will return for sure!

This was my 1st visit on a Friday evening, I took a gf out for her bday, food was good, atmosphere great, staff was nice, my only complaint is they rushed up sooooo much, I get it’s a Friday, small place, we got there around 5:30p but by 6:30p they had already come to our table half a dozen times seeing “if we needed anything else” they were very nice about it but it was very annoying, we got there at 5:30p and was out by 7:00p, I understand Friday evenings are busy but there was no one waiting I would have enjoyed spending at least a 2 hr dinner with a friend, our bill was about $75, my suggestion to management is if there is not a wait, don’t rush customers. I would still recommend it based upon food and service but if you go on a weekend don’t expect to stay long.

Two days in a row!! This is the best Thai food we’ve had here, and we’re actually going to stick with this place, also happy it’s close by!

Very good service, the ladies were pleasant. Easy ordering online as well. Yesterday I had the Thai fried rice with chicken and shrimp, spicy, delicious!! Huge portion too, plenty of meat! My husband had the rad naa, he enjoyed it, would get rice instead of noodles next time.

I had plenty of food left over today, so I ordered the vegetable spring rolls (5 per order) to add to my lunch, delicious! Perfect actually. Oh and the sweet and sour sauce is top tier! I put it on my rice and used it for the rolls. My husband had the orange chicken today which was amazing, the sauce was so good, tender chicken, perfectly breaded, not too much. I dipped the spring rolls in the orange chicken and put some on my left over rice. Can’t wait to try other dishes, and also dine in.

Three small complaints, spice level wasn’t consistent (very spicy was about medium), tails were left on the shrimp, sewage smell inside.

I’m extremely disappointed in the taste and texture of the food I ordered. I had the pad thai and the veggie rolls with shrimp. The peanut sauce was runny and not good. The pad Thai had little flavor and was as basic as you can possibly imagine. This is a hard pass for me. Service was friendly though but the kitchen needs to figure it out.

This was my first time here and I had the Tom Yum soup which was delicious, I also had the chicken Larb which wasn’t bad but it didn’t have much of the flavor of a chicken larb.

Green Curry (4, chicken, brown rice): Good as expected, Vegetables were not cooked properly and were underdone. No other issues.

Pineapple Curry (4, chicken, fried rice): Tasted good. I do not feel the spice level was a 4, but maybe more of a 3. Pineapple chunks, though plentiful, were very large and didn't match the meal. They should be chopped smaller to be more manageable. The vegetables were not cooked properly and were also underdone.

The quality of the meal was there: freshness of the vegetables, the cuts of meat, flavor, etc. However, if not cooked properly, it doesn't mean anything.

This location is well on their way to 5 stars, just not there yet.
