I don’t know how to put this in the most respectful way but you will not get Thai food from this restaurant. Maybe it’s Thai food for those that has never had it before, but the flavors are extremely watered down and the recipe is something extremely different. I would say it’s “Thai food” to white Texans. I ordered “pad kra pao” and what I got was stir fry pork in oyster sauce. This is extremely disrespectful to the Thai cuisine and culture. I left the restaurant after taking a couple of bites. I know it’s tempting for those traveling to stop by because it’s close to the highway but I would recommend you to go somewhere else. You will be disappointed here.
You have to serve yourself, it's not a normal restaurant experience needed to get all the utensils. I ordered the egg rolls and Thai barbecue chicken, the egg rolls would be 3/5 they were really doughy and had almost no filling.
The BBQ chicken was just a rotisserie chicken from the store chopped up in pieces, it had no BBQ on it and when I asked for some sauce they said no that's the way it comes. I spent $19 on this meal.
Would not recommend, if you are in the area go to Fun Noodle you will like it better.
Absolutely incredible. You can smell it from the outside (which is always a good sign), service was what you'd expect from a small kitschy place with attentive staff but a stand-offish nature, food tasted wonderful and was very cheap at only like $8-$10 per plate. For appetizers we had the Angel Wings and Crispy Fried Tofu. For our meal o had Beef Krapow and pretty much everyone else at the table had Drunken Noodles of some kind.
If you have been in the streets of thailand, this is so nostalgic. The food is really good. Taste is authentic and not those commercialized taste we always see somewhere else. They are out of mango sticky rice and the papaya salad but for sure will go back here and get those tasted when available.
Best Thai Curry I've had since moving to TX. I've tried several other places but this was so much better. Genuine Thai chef.
Best drunken noodles in Lubbock!! This is my go-to Thai spot in the city and my recommendation to anyone seeking out consistently tasty and authentic Thai food.
my fav
our food are COLD, not warm but COLD, and the front desk lady is extremely rude, I mean EXTREMELY, we did paid for the food and they acted like i’ve got in begging for the free foods.
Simple and really tasty food. The decor is basic but don’t let that fool you. This was all served one hour before closing.
We always order for pickup and have never had a bad order. Food is amazing and service is quick and efficient. Favorite Thai food for downtown hands down!
good food for a great price!
Service was horrible, waitress was rude and food was awful. Ordered pad Thai and it didn’t look or taste like it was supposed to. Got a refund and left immediately
Best place to enjoy some thai food in lubbock
The lady that took our order was awful.
She was so rude. My husband order tom yum spicy. It was so bad, There were tons of red chili flakes.
I will never eat here again 😒 😑

Our favorite Thai food in LBK
We find a cacarouch on our take out drink
was a bug in our drink thats disgusting. Honestly do better
We live in Houston with great Thai food. This is still some of the best we have had. Had Pad Thai noodles and Chicken Coconut soup.
Second time, still delicious and we can add sticky rice and mango to the list of great food.
Ignore the outside of the building and go inside to enjoy wonderful Thai food.
Love Thai tea hot/sour soup, simply delicious as for menu I have yet to find anything that is not amazing. Hard to choose from everything.
Top notch! Excellent vegan options!
By far the best thia food ! they hosted my brothers wedding dinner and they are super
Sweet people and made sure we were taken care of !!!! Food was amazing !! Super clean place !!!
Great, fresh, authentic food at a low key, family owned restaurant. Better than a lot of Thai food you’ll find in bigger bustling cities.
Food was eh
One of my favorite places! Always good , always nice and fast. Love it all spucy and yummy cool Thai Tea the Best
I was passing through Lubbock and needed vegetarian food and was concerned about it being 6 pm and we were the only ones there. But the food was really good! I had red vegetable curry and the wife had pad ty. There is no table service but they did bring the food to the table.
Best pad Thai in Lubbock. Also great yellow curry. I know everything else is good too but I can’t help but order my favorites!

Got food to go, asked for soy sauce and the lady behind the counter had an attitude and didn’t even hand it directly to me, as if it was an inconvenience for her. Food was bland. Take your money elsewhere.
One of my favorite spots in Lubbock. Love their tofu pad Thai
She was friendly when we picked up the order. The soup has fresh garlic or ginger and the wonton chicken was tasty. Our pad thai was delish. You get a good amount of food. So worth the drive.
delicious food that came out quickly!
Love the yellow curry chicken amongst the other items. Service is a bit cold, but their food balances it out. Overall a wonderful Lubbock spot to get something tasty!!!
Gourmet adventure!
The food is phenomenal. Yum yum yum!
The food is phenomenal.
Good food and great customer service! Got takeout, and it was ready before I walked in the door.
Not very friendly. Ordered soup without mushrooms(allergic) and it looked like extra. I think it was the wrong soup. Padthai was ok. I've better other places. Over all bland. No spice no thank you
Very good, portions are just small
Well the environment is ok simple but clean. But the food is like just fine. Not really authentic and some of the noodle we ordered is different than all the Thai restaurants we went to before don’t know why
Don't be fooled by the side of town it's on, this place is definitely worth it
Thai food is my favorite and I live in a small town so I can only get it when I go to a bigger town (Lubbock). They stay open later than the others and I came in probably about 20 mins til close. They where more than willing to serve us. Just loved them. The food is great, very cozy. Would definitely recommend 👌
You see a place like this you know it's gonna be good
Best Thai food I've had in a while.
Muy buenos gustos
Lady was super rude when I asked questions about the menu. Almost like it was a burden to explain things to me (1st time there). We won’t be going back. Food was too salty and didn’t taste authentic Thai.
This place has great food at decent prices. Very friendly and quick. Highly recommended.
We ordered the coconut milk red curry with chicken, hot and sour soup, egg rolls, and chicken fried rice. Everything was very good, the chicken fried rice was a little bland for my taste but my daughter enjoyed it. The portion were generous, enough for 2 meals for me. The service was pretty fast, about 10 minutes to receive our entrees. We will go back, often!
First he brought the food without any spices. The brought the it with full of chili. Three people could not even eat one dish. Water started coming from the eyes
Love the tom yum
Thai Kitchen is always a good experience. It's easy to make a takeout order online and the staff will notify you when the food will be ready so that you can time your arrival. Today we had the green curry with tofu and the larb na noodles with vegetables. The curry was especially flavorful. The noodles and rice were perfectly cooked. Vegetables were tender but still firm. Portions were appropriate for each person and the price was very reasonable.
Food was delicious. Seemed like it was more of a take out place vs a sit down location.
Ordered drunken noodles, Tom Kha and Pad Thai.
Absolutely LOVED the drunken noodles at the spiciest level.
Don't let the restaurant fool ya.
Food was delicious and service outstanding.
Give them a try!
Mediocre Thai food. Generous amount for the price.
Absolutely delicious! 💯 I highly recommend the Pad Woon Sen. So tasty. It is not fancy at all, but some of the best Thai food hands down!
Please taste your food that you cooked.
We are Asian and I know the taste of every single dishes of Thai and Lao food.
Food was great. Highly Recommend.
They need to update their hours, I showed up on a Monday at 1 and no one was here and the shop was closed with no note. They’re supposed to be open, even the hours on their sign. It’s also not a holiday.
The food is really good, doesn't get much traffic inside. For the most part, people make pick-up orders instead. Their other location is very good as well.
Food was amazing and service was top notch!! This is a hidden gem that shouldn't be passed up!
Best Thai food in Lubbock.
My boys are students and love Thai Kitchen. They took us, and the food was fantastic. The low key and basic setting made it even more enjoyable.
We ate at Thai Kitchen tonight. It was the first time we had been in since before the pandemic.
It was clean and the food was really good. It has been a good experience every time we have been there.
We will definetely go back.
Food was very authentic. Really good.
Love this place and location and will continue to support whenever I am in town. I bring my friends and I constantly get takeout from here to take to my friends and or work colleagues. I’ve even bought enough Thai fried rice to take to a luncheon as a food item and it was a big hit! The owner here is super nice and friendly and I definitely recommend coming here even though I know the drive is kind of out of the way for a lot of us. Definitely recommend there Thai fried rice as I think they have the best in town. That and the chicken coconut soup is super delicious! Best wishes to your business and I applaud your expansion.
The owners are so nice and responsive. The food is amazing and I crave their Pad Thai!
In the beginning I had really good experiences with this restaurant— but the past few times ive gone there has been atleast one thing wrong.
There seems to be a consistent issue of receiving a incorrect order (sealed in a bag so unless you are checking at the restaurant and not in a rush you won't know)
It might just be my experience of not learning to check it at the restaurant, but you would hope you were receiving the correct order...
Besides the Take-Out issue, their food is tasty and delicious!
Ate there today for the 1st time. Let me tell you everything tasted so fresh & can tell it was made to oder. Let's just say I highly recommend & will definitely be going bck. Found my new favorite places. The staff was awesome & very friendly. The appearance doesn't look so good but it's definitely a whole in the wall type of place.
Don’t bother calling this place. No one answers and when you try to place an order online it doesn’t go through. How are we supposed to order if we don’t have time to come in and sit down if no one answers the phone AND your online ordering doesn’t work????
Great Thai food at a great price.
They never disappoint! I love it! I am so happy we have a second location now!
Excellent food and service!
Pad Thai was pale and light on flavor. Portion was big though
5stars to the food!! Service and cleanliness unsatisfactory.
Wow. Really good. Kind of a sketchy area but just order togo, pick it up, and skedaddle outta there! Well worth the drive.
I used to live this place and went every week! After COVID they did not return to regular service which stinks. I don’t like the paper plates as my sauce ends of there instead of the noodles. I’ll be back bc I love the food but the service is really lacking.
Food was discounting!
Awsome food! They close at 9pm but if you arrive before 830pm you can fine in. After 830pm, It's takeout only. Can't wait to go back 😋
Tofu & shrimp drunken noodles were good.
The food was not spicy & tofu was not greasy.
Ordered some wraps which were served with a peanut spread that was tasty.
Instead of contacting us and letting us know the order we placed online was unavailable they cancelled and made us wait hours to be refunded, this could’ve easily been prevented by calling us and asking if we’d like a replacement. What’s the point of adding our contact information if it isn’t going to be utilized.
Lubbock has great Thai and this is the best...
Fantastic. Love thai food anyway. Out of the park. If Iived in Lubbock, probably be here 3 to 4 times a week.
Very pleased with the food and service here, I got the yellow curry with chicken. Would highly recommend, and definitely will be coming back!
Place looks dirty, food was horrible cold and gross. Don't recommend wasting your money here. Seen rat droppings under my table & saw employees touching foods with no gloves! Chow Chow
This place is one of the best Thai place I get their padthai shrimp pasewee stir fry beef noodle good won't be disappointed
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The food is great! They make your order just as you want it and in a timely manner!
We have ordered and call them prior because they do take a while and it's only lunch break from the office. I got chicken fried rice and I liked it. Even finished it all. Our go to place for lunch.
Prejudice, egocentric ,rude and arrogant waitress turned as away and kept screaming at us that she couldn't allow a party more than 20 we were 19 only she made it like she was doing us a favor . Lady you should be glad that you had clients walk through your door .. try to be accommodating to people of all colors..anyhow we left and took our business to another THAI LOCATION and it was the best service ever..
Very horrible experience with dirty environment, stray animals, and bad customer service.
This was a very prejudice experience. I called in for my wife and friend graduation eat in, and was told if party less than 20 we were fine. I had 19 guest, the restaurant was extremely unpolite, very mean spirited and bad communication and dismissive, they made the experience unpleasant for my wife graduating party and guest, we had to leave for the rudeness and attitude. I will never recommend to an enemy. The atmosphere was also very dirty inside, the chairs disorganized. The external had many strya dogs that could be threat to kids and family
....DONT GO!
This is by far the worst customer experience I have seen in a long time. She turned us back and was so rude doing it. I would never be going back here and so are about 20 people on the party group.
Amazing authentic Thai
Fist time I came back after the pandemic and the service was horrible
I was craving pad Kee mao so bad and was left so disappointed 😞
Not really flavored until I poured the whole sweet and sour container on it.. I asked for combination and I got a few pieces of each meat and a pc of shrimp.. there's no egg in there, no vegetables besides a few onion and bell pepper pieces.. not spicy.. I'm so sad.. and the portion wasnt that great...
Damn good food, I've eaten there about 20x's now and its always great. If you call in an order for lunch its ready in about 5-10 minutes on average. The best part about this restaurant is they are actually nice and seem to care that you have chosen to eat here (unlike other Thai restaurants in town)
Decent but not my favorite Thai food in Lubbock.
Horrible. Won Ton soup is bland. Ordered drunked noodles, not sure what I got. No flavor. Ordered fried rice, not sure what they gave me. No flavor whatsoever. I've had better Thai TV dinners. Big mistake coming here.
Great food! Courteous staff. Will be coming back to try their other dishes.
Fast service. Food was delicious and at a great price
only reason i gave it 1 start cause i cant give it 0 i swear before god i opened up my beef fried rice & smelled nothing less then a dog!! i couldnt i didnt take a single bite!!! i was so disgusted by the smell idk what these pepole have going but i do know ive never in my life had such a strong odor of a dog coming in from outside come from something i were about to eat! never in my life do i want even thai food anymore completly lost trust after this
great food and service. my favorite is the Drunken Noodles.
We love thai kitchen! the service is always the best and they have the best thai tea. Definitely recommend!
Ok taste
My family is very confused about the high reviews, in comparison to the food we just had. Strange smell from shrimp pad thai, chicken pad thai, and, panang curry. We almost decided not to try at all, it was that off-putting. After 3-5 bites from each of us, we lost our appetites completely. Pad thai was gummy, with minimal sauce, and no peanuts or spice. Partner eats panang curry regularly, and said it tasted nothing like the dish he has eaten all over the country. Fried tofu was gummy-to the point our 2 year old choked on a piece that wouldn’t break apart (already cut into quarters). Chicken egg rolls also gummy, and strange flavor.
Can’t say we’d order from here again.
MmmMmm good
Authentic Thai food, we love their food!
No indoor dining
It's fine. Not great.
Best Thai food in west Texas. Get it extra spicy.
By far the BEST Thai food I have ever eaten. Would definitely recommend to everybody. I had the chicken fried rice spicy. And let me just say it’s was SPICY! will be ordering often from Thai Kitchen!
Dinner only outside.
Freshly cooked takeout.
I will never go to this place again! I almost threw up in my mouth! Yuk!
Hands down my favorite restaurant in Lubbock! Delicious large portions for a great price with a large menu selection. I never get tired of this place!
The best experience I have had in a long time. Food was GREAT!!!! I WOULD DRIVE ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF TO EAT HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN.
Best Pad se ew and wonton super, ever!
Food was awful. Didn't have dine in service.
I have lived in Lubbock for a year and a half with my precious wonderful husband, but I was missing the pad thai I used to get at a place in Las Vegas. I had tried a few places, and they just didn't cut it. Thai Kitchen totally satisfied my year and a half craving, we squeezed half a lemon on it and put on hot sauce and it was as if I was at kung fu again, thank you Thai Kitchen 😋
Delicious! The fish cakes were a little rubbery but flavor was good. Only complaint is the spicy food I ordered was not spicy at all, next time will tell them to make it extra spicy.
The best!
They have good food & nice staff.
You know you've got the right Thai spot when the focus is on the food, not the decor. We couldn't go in due to COVID restrictions, but the food was amazing. The red and Panang curries were great with a good amount of spice. I highly recommend this location for wonderful Thai fare.
This is a great Thai place and im very picky about my Chinese/Thai dishes. Being from Amarillo nothing seems to compare to Mi Thai but this place is close to it. The staff is friendly and we always get what we order.
Awesome shrimp rolls, great food and prices.
This is the best restaurant in Lubbock - hands down!! The food is super fresh and almost too affordable. Definitely visit and support these fine folks!
Best Thai food I've tried in America, better than in SF, NY, STL, Houston etc
My favorite thai restaurant all time pad thai is the go to
I came to Lubbock on business and chose this restaurant based on the reviews and for its proximity to the hotel I was staying in. I got two dishes just in case one was disappointing. Unfortunately, both were really quite difficult to stomach. The food was rather salty and oily, resembling more Americanized Chinese food than Thai. Given the high reviews, it seems to be well received none the less, but the few locals I asked recommended other Thai restaurants in the region. I certainly wouldn’t go back myself. Turned out to be a waste of money. Service was otherwise prompt and the food was reasonably priced.
Lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and behaved the same way when I got there to pick up the food.
Never going back there again.
very delicious
Best Thai in Lubbock!
I ordered patt krapao with beef and spring rolls with a thai tea. The thai tea was very good. The patt krapao was ok but just ok. It was very bland and the beef was very dry. The vegetables and rice were on point. The spring rolls were not very good. They are served with a peanut sauce that is seriously just watered down peanut butter. I may give it another chance but I will only do so on a day were Thai Thai, Choochai, Bangkok, and Thai Pepprr are closed.
We lived in Lubbock for 3 years and this was one of our favorites. The owners are great, and the food and service is unmatched. We will miss Thai Kitchen so much!
I'm eating from one encounter buying only spring rolls. Bill was $8.65 and I gave her $20. She didn't say thank you then but did when she handed me my order. The spring rolls were average
The food was great! Very friendly service. Took good care of us. We sat at outside table to eat. Highly recommend the egg rolls. Curry was delicious! It is in an interesting spot and building. Worth the hunt!!
