Hubby dined in here last week for lunch and also did takeout. For dine in he ordered the Sesame Chicken with white rice, salad and Rice soup. He said the food was very good. For takeout he ordered the Pad Thai which he said was very good and would get again. He also ordered the Basil Fried Rice which he said was okay. The food portions are ample and the prices are good. He said he would definitely return again and try some other dishes and would certainly recommend.

I have been coming to Noy's for many years now and even though I no longer live close by it's still one of my favorite Asian cuisine spots! Their Thai tea is delicious and I highly recommend the red curry. The server is very nice.

Noys Bistro is just a great Thai restaurant. Food wise, probably the single best egg rolls I've had in San Antonio and one of the best Thai coffees I've had anywhere. The rest of the food was tasty as well but if you want spicy, be sure to ask for it. What I especially loved was the decor. Beautiful pieces of artwork on the walls and they had little placards describing what was. A lot of love and effort went into this place and it shows.

I’ve been coming here for many years. I am picky about my pad Thai and it just keeps getting better! My meal last week was so good I didn’t want to stop eating. The lady in the front is like my bestie and has my order memorized. I’ve tried other Thai places in the area and it’s just not the same. A hidden gem more people should know about!

I've never been when it's busy. The service has always been great and the food comes out hot and pretty quick. This is one of my favorite restaurants in town.

A very nice surprise! The atmosphere is very nice without being overly loud. You can actually hold a conversation easily, while not being able to hear anyone else.
The food was really good and the serving size borders on the ridiculous side fir being almost too much. Bring your appetite!
Drink selection is a little sparse as they are limited to canned drinks, ice tea, lemonade and water. But, in the grand scheme of things, this is minor.
We were not rushed, nor did we feel that way, and because of this we were able to hold a very nice long conversation while we ate and after. A very nice change.
Definitely recommend if you like, love or want to try Thai food and seek a great atmosphere.

This is a great place for Thai food. The cook is excellent! The staff is wonderful! One of the waitresses that works in the evening remembers me and what I like!

I made an attempt to place an order from this establishment, however, I was placed on hold for an extended period exceeding 10 minutes. I am inclined to believe that my call was inadvertently forgotten. Consequently, I am compelled to reconsider my patronage of this establishment if this incident is indicative of the standard of service provided.

We came here because I was craving sushi and my wife was craving Chinese food. I saw on their photos that they had both. Unfortunately when we walked in they had a big sign saying no sushi at this time. I was disappointed but still wanted to give them a shot. And I'm glad I did. Our waitress and the food were great. We had the eggrolls to start then I had the lemon chicken and my wife had the general tsos. I was fine with the sticky rice that it came with but my wife got the fried rice and it was $3 more. I thought that was a little excessive but maybe that's just me. But we'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes. Their menu is extensive!

My basic complaint is that the food and drink were not good.
Very disappointing experience, the Thai tea was way too sweet with no tea flavor, the lemongrass chicken had some flavor that kind of turned my stomach. The fresh roll was fine, but not rolled the best. Hubby had red curry which was super spicy so couldn't get much flavor out of it. Our server didn't seem to understand what we said to her, like we would like to add normal tea to cut the sweetness. When the two other tables of people left, she busily cleaned those instead of taking our order. I want to make sure I'm not lured into coming back since apparently we were here 6 years ago and couldn't remember if it was good or bad.

The place closes at 9pm, we sat down at 8:32pm and she comes out and says that dining stops at 830pm. We asked her if she wanted us to leave and she said "sorry".

Wow! OK, cool. We'll leave then.

I had never been here and decided to stop in for a late lunch. The pad Thai was delicious and the medium spicy was really great!! I had been trying to find a place with good pad thai and this will be my go-to spot from now on!

We have been going to Noy's since it opened. My husband loves the shrimp fresh rolls and chicken salad. I love the cashew chicken. The food is fresh and really good! All of our friends now frequent the restaurant. We're going back next week!

Had my Dad's birthday dinner here on Saturday. The food was delicious. They just started featuring sushi on their menu. It was outstanding! The specialty rolls are unique and very flavorful. Jose really knows what he is doing! Would highly recommend this place for sushi.

Really wanted to like this. We went in to order for to go. The lady at the desk that helped us was super nice. We asked how big the portion sizes since we have large family of 5 eating. She said each portion feeds 2-3 people. We ordered 3 entrees, side of fried rice, spring rolls and crab rangoons. The total before tip was over $90, but we figured we'd have leftovers. When we opened it at home we were very disappointed. Took the pic before we ate any. Very small portion of meat and the veggies were mostly just cabbage. The food was good, not the best, but not the worst. It was very fresh, good ingredients. But not worth the price tag for our family. If you feel like splurging, go for it, if you have a large family looking for some quick Asian food try somewhere else and let me know, we're still looking!

Food quality and quantity are worth the price—authentic Thai food with huge portions. One entree will be good enough for two unless you are hungry. I am a picky eater, and the only Thai place I've been to that has the best was in Cali. Well, rest assured, this place beats my favorite spot in Cali.

Pad Thai is on point...full of flavor, and you can add Tofu, Chicken, beef, or pork. Or you can add them all at no extra charge. 🤙🏼

My teens love the teriyaki and honey-glazed chicken. You can't go wrong with either one if you have youngins and picky eaters. Serving sizes are enough for two full-grown adults. Duck is also delicious and juicy...😉

Suppose you are on the fence and don't want to spend much. Try their lunch menu with half the portions, but still get a feel of what they serve. Vietnamese rolls are out of this world. IMO, their fried Vietnamese rolls are better than lumpia and traditional Chinese eggrolls.

We went there for the sushi adcertised online only to discover they do not serve sushi. They have false advertising online. All the menu featured was curry and rice dishes. Not a good selection. I would not recommend this place

I had a customer recommend Noy's after I had said there's no good Asian food in San Antonio. It was remarkably quiet inside, and the lady who greeted and waited on us was very sweet. I had the Pad Thai with chicken, and I absolutely loved it. The Vietnamese Rolls were delicious as well. I will definitely be back. Good thing for my bank account that its quite a way from our house!!

The taste was great, portion size was decent, but it was 46.00 and change for those two dishes, and a thai tea with cream. I did not receive an itemized receipt to check if correct prices, nor do they offer a military discount. Only Tuesday nights??? That was an expensive lunch. This was my first time as well.

The fried banana with icecream was decadent and hit the spot 🍌✨ The owner was our server, and was just the sweetest. It was honor, and felt like visiting with family. The atmosphere/decor was delightful, the lighting creates a great sense of intimacy, the artwork is beautiful, the only note I would have is to have some light music playing to match the vibe. Without music it feels a bit empty. I hope for continued success of this lovely eatery. ❤️

Noy’s bistro put the other oriental restaurants to shame with their red curry, having plenty of impact in the flavor and the addictive spice that makes you keep coming back for more.
FYI spicy lovers I recommend you try out the HOT before you try anything more spicy I love spicy myself, but HOT is pretty hot.

Fantastic Thai food place. I've been 3 times and it's been great each time. Haven't seen it get past 50% capacity yet. As mentioned by others it is pricey compared to your typical Thai restaurant.

Their hottest spice level is Laotian Hot, which is a great heat level without being "melt your face off" hot.

Tried out Noy's for the first time today. I can't count how many times I've driven by it and had no idea it was there. Ordered the Panang Curry and an order of crab rangoon. The rangoon was average but the curry was very good. I'd say top 5 in SA easily. Service was great, staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and hot. I think they have magic bowls. My curry was still hot up until the last bite. Temp hot, not spicy hot. Not sure I've ever had that before. Looking forward to going again and trying more of the menu.

We came here with high hopes based on the reviews... the service was good and the food was ok. I can't agree that the prices match the quality of food though, so it was disappointing. We spent about $45 with tip.

I ordered tofu fresh rolls which consisted of mainly of lettuce and tofu sliced thinly to appear as of it had more than it did. I also order wonton soup, which had a lot of Peas- a first for me. My soup had a lot of vegetables as a filler. I guess I expected a more traditional and simple soup. My fiance order beef pad se-ew, but the beef lacked flavor and tasted as if it was cooked a bit before it was seasoned. Which in our opinion is noticeable and a bit off-putting.

Of course to each their own. What is amazing for others just didn't leave us with the same experience. 🤷‍♀️

Not sure what to make of this place, the food is good and the staff is friendly but it's usually very quiet. But, my kids LOVE this place and it is good. Portions are huge so I usually get a second meal out of it. We've been going here on and off for years and it has remained consistently good.

My husband took me here for my birthday a few days ago. Here’s the thing. We are MAJOR foodies. We love Thai food and have tried various restaurants around town. We ordered the appetizer sampler, Pad Thai, and Massaman Curry. The curry was amazing, but my goodness. That Pad Thai….we’ve never tasted anything like it. The noodles were cooked perfectly and not clumpy like a lot of Pad Thai dishes in the area. The beef had this amazing grilled taste with some slight caramelization. Portions are massive and we had to take the leftovers home. They tasted even better the next day. Don’t miss out on this gem. We’ll be back regularly, as I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that Pad Thai!

Over the past 7 years this place as been one of my regular stops. The red and green curry are both amazing. Inflation seems to have caught up with them. I used to pay 10.99 for either curry dishes and you got a little fancy cut up orange after the meal. Prices had gone to 12.99 and now they are 17.30 per plate ... and now without the orange. I will still go here because it's one of the better red curry places, but it will be without the entire family and now less often.

Ordered the musaman curry (extra rice; added broccoli; medium-hot). It’s absolutely delicious! I’m not good with spicy food so my mouth is burning 😂 but I keep eating more because it tastes so good. I was a little concerned about the price but for the serving size and quality, it’s definitely worth it! Glad I ordered here for my first time trying curry. 💕

A 4% charge for the use of a credit card?? I know you have to pay a fee for credit card usage, but that's just the price of business, and no where near 4%.

Many people on here are saying that the prices are high, which they are. People also say the food is worth it, but it's really not. This is basic Thai at its best, and around 15%-20% too high in price (that's not including the extra 4% for using credit).

I am definitely going to be coming back here, service and food was amazing! I got the sesame chicken and tried the pad Thai as well and they were amazing, already wanting to come back! Portion sizes are pretty big as well, and definitely recommend the egg rolls too.

Food here is excellent. My wife and I had the Pad Thai, Vietnamese roll and crab Rangoon. The sauce the give with the Vietnamese roll is delicious. The pink sauce they give with the Crab Rangoon is really good.

The Pad Thai is delicious although they could add just a little more salt or flavoring to it. Food was fresh and employees are nice. One letdown my wife and I had was that they forgot our side of fried rice last week when we went. Over all really good food and the inside is a clean friendly environment.

Another great restaurant!!! We ordered the egg roll appetizer with Sweet and Sour sauce, which was very good! The egg rolls tasted really fresh and not fried as in other restaurants. Then we had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, White Rice, and the beef PHO. We also ordered Tom Kha which was really good and very coconut-ee.

In the end, the food was really good and has made the top of my list of comfort food restaurants. The service was also really good and the waitress told us about how the restaurant makes everything fresh (accept for the soy sauce). And last but not least, we got the sticky rice with regular ice cream, mango in coconut milk and wow!!! Well worth the experience and will definitely come back in the future.

Initial Impression. Nice on Inside. We made our way here because our usual place was closed for vacation.

Menu: very large menu. With some Chinese food as well. First thing that caught my eye were the prices. Wow. This is a $$$ type of Asian restaurant. While most places I see plates $12-14. Here average price is $18 a plate. With appetizers average is $11.

I felt this better be great quality and quantity for the price. And it was!
It was worth every penny. I had the pad Thai. I barely finished it. The flavor was fresh and very tasty. My wife has the red curry and it was as expected large size with rice. She asked for extra spicy and it did not disappoint her at all.
We opted for no appetizer due to price.

The service was also above average. Very nice server. Food arrived FAST and hot. About 8 minutes after we ordered.

For reference this is my 2nd time here. I had take out once a few years ago. It hadn’t impressed me, but that was years ago, lots of things changed since then.

I love Noy's, this charming Bistro is so warm and inviting. Their dining room is adorned with lanterns, vibrant plants, and Thai sculptures so you feel like your in a tea garden. My favorite dish is their Tom Yum soup it has that perfect balance of authentic sour and sweet flavor with a hint of spice! Try the miso, egg drop, sweet & sour. All of their soups are so tasty. Jungle Curry, Duck Curry, are also delicious. Green and yellow curry are my favorite! Also don't forget to try their shrimp cocktail it comes with a cute little umbrella and has sooooo much shrimp in it!! Can't wait to go back here! The green basil mussels are HUGE!

The food was amazing! The service was excellent!! I wish the prices were more affordable, but I think it is what it is.

The food at this restaurant is the best. It is Thai food with so much variety. We had Curry, pad thai, and Pho. The atmosphere is clean and quiet and so it is a good place to have conversation with your group. Children are welcomed. There's plenty of parking and I would highly recommend this restaurant

Easily some of the best Thai food I've ever had. My bank account shows just how much I love their food lol I've tried all the curry absolutely delicious, And the pineapple fried rice is perfect!

Food was good and service friendly and fast. Prices a little steep and unable to substitute any items. For price did expect portions to be a little larger. But over all a pleasant experience.

6/6 dishes ordered by my group were excellent! We all took home enough food for another meal, and we were excited to eat it again. We were immediately sat, quick to order drinks and food, and we were served promptly. The spicy dishes were therapeutically hot, and the mild dishes were well spiced. Unsung hero of the menu: Pineapple Fried Rice!

We finally found delicious Gluten Free Pad Thai!!!! Stephanie was very helpful in guiding us to their gluten free options. They take the time and attention needed for customers with true allergies. Thank you for an amazing dinner with great service! We will gladly return in the future!

We returned to Noy's Bristro after a long absence. Covid restrictions has been one of the factors keeping us away. We didn't know what to expect. So few diners on our last visit prior to 2020. When we arrived today after 12:00pm only one table was occupied. Two other tables filled after we arrived. Noy's has excellent reviews and their food is good. Their Menu Item Prices are competitive. So no idea what's keeping customers away, We enjoyed our two meals of Duck & Sampler Seafood rolls The three sauces which came with the Egg Roll Sampler platter was attractive. Hot tea was added to food order. Total bill was $42.00. Upon entering restaurant , Customers are asked seat themselves. One waitress seemed to be doing everything in our dining area - taking orders, serving diners, handling call in requests, bussing, billing, & taking payment. She did not allow being overworked to affect her friendlly disposition or effeciency. It was nevertheless a long wait to get the bill & pay.

Simply the best Thai food ANYWHERE! Cozy, quiet and service is outstanding!! So many options on the menu but the curry is the best!

Excellent food. Everything we ordered was fresh and had generous portions. Service is relaxed but not slow. Very friendly without being intrusive. Nice views across the street and easy parking. We'll be back.

Tried a few thai places around, this is one of my favorite. Staff is very friendly, food was really good and good size portions. It's a little pricey but worth it.

The pancit was ok but the meat inside the pancit was dry. The bbq on stick was dry. Lumping was good.

1st time here. Sister suggested this restaurant. Had the spicy curry and it was very tasty. Meal was enough for 2 people. Mother has crab cakes. Will be going back to try out the stir fry.

Having visited Thailand several times, I can attest to the fact that this is the absolute best Thai food in San Antonio! The service is always amazing, they get to know their regulars and make everyone feel welcome. The food is amazing, flavorful and perfectly spicy (and they will adjust the heat levels based on request!). We are preparing to PCS away from San Antonio, and this will be one of the things we miss the most.

Spicy Red Curry with braised duck, pineapple bell peppers and basil…soooooo good. Our server Stephanie was awesome too.

Yellow curry was great! Service was very slow and not coordinated or efficient. 1server and 1 hostess but the server did everything.

Orange chicken was good. I would come back.

Excellent cuisine and outstanding customer service. The owner is a Veteran and makes it a point to get to know his customers and make sure you had a wonderful experience. This is a quite and comfortable atmosphere, a real gem! Do yourself a favor and go out and have an awesome meal at this restaurant, you'll be glad you did.

Swung by tonight at 8:13 (published closing time is 9) and was told that they were closing. Disappointment for sure. Not sure when they are actually open, but I wouldn’t trust what they post on google or their door. I understand not eating at a restaurant right before they close, but 45 minutes before closing time seems very fair to me.

Response to owner: While I am exceedingly happy that you keep your restaurant up to state code of cleanliness, that fact was not explained to me at that time. All that I was told was that I could not be served because the grease traps needed to be cleaned. I am not familiar with the maintenance in a kitchen so I took that to be routine maintenance, which was the reason for my disgruntlement. Routine maintenance vs quarterly maintenance is vastly different. I understand the reason for the closure and the fact that the website cannot be changed to reflect occasional early closure.

Love the food from here. Probably the best Thai on this side of town. Pineapple fried rice is delicious

Some of the best curry I've had in years.

Having to seek out authenticity @ thai restaurants, I had medium expectations when I saw a mix of chinese dishes on the menu. But lo and behold, the red curry had bold flavors worthy of praise and the drunken noodles ordered with minced beef with shrimp was a true thai experience. Even as basic as the pad thai dish was a revelation. Will be back again and again and again.

The curry is delicious, and the service is always friendly.
