This was the most terrible delivery experience I've had, as far as I can remember.

The food was delivered to my hotel, and not only was the quality appalling, but they also failed to provide any paper napkins, forks, spoons, or chopsticks.

Here’s what I ordered:

1. Pan-Fried Dumplings: These were excessively greasy and rubbery. It was the first time in my life I didn’t like dumplings.

2. Thai Spring Rolls: Greasy and tasteless. Completely unappetizing.

3. Crab Rangoon: These were filled with some kind of curry mayonnaise, with NO trace of crab whatsoever. Absolutely misleading.

4. Tom Kha Chicken Soup: The soup tasted good, but it contained only one small piece of chicken.

Overall, the food was disgusting, and it cost me $38, plus tip. I feel like I have been cheated. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this place.

Ordered through Grubhub - asked for specific heat levels for each dinner and the staff didn’t read the request - also no utensils sent - we’re in a hotel that is being renovated (wasn’t in the notes either lol) so trying to utensils was a pain. Hopefully in person is better - don’t dine out on this one. Also portion sizes for price are comical.

It was my first time here, and I ordered drunken noodles with chicken. I can honestly say this is the best gluten-free meal I have had in the area! And so reasonably priced. Thank you to the amazing staff for their hospitality and for taking great care of us. I can't wait to return ❤️

This place is so consistent that I can taste something today at lunch that sent me back to when I was celebrating my middle school graduation dinner in '06. This restaurant has maintained the consistency of recipe and standards to where I am honored to have this staple of the community still with us. Keep it up Cat and John!

This place is absolutely amazing. The combination fried rice is a must. We ordered beef and broccoli but they misunderstood and gave us frog legs instead. Im so glad they did, we ate it anyway and they were AMAZING! Wife and I tried something new and now im hooked. The staff are super friendly. One of the best Thai in town.

Hadn't been here in a while. Remembered we loved it then so we tried it again today. We ordered the appetizer sampler, drunken noodle,( one with beef and hot, the other with shrimp and medium hot) and my son had beef with brocolli and vegies with Jasmine rice. Everything was amazing! The sampler was crunchy and tasty. The drunken noodles were perfect- the heat on both just right. My son loved his beef and broccoli dish as well. We finished with mango sticky rice - the perfect end to a perfect dinner. My ginger honey tea was delightful as well. Service was impeccable. We will all be back and soon!!!

Love their food but they never get my take out order correct and you pay as much for lunch take out but dont get the soup.or anything to replace it. That's sort of a rip.off

We tried it twice, and both times were disappointed. The crab ragoons are not what you expect at all. They have a yellow filling and have a different spice in them. It didn't taste like cream cheese or crab. The fried shrimp was ok. Amazing sauce was not amazing. Pad thai noodles were super mushy. The eggrolls were tastless and did not seem homemade. The dumplings had to be the very worst that we had. The filling wasn't good to us. They had many good reviews, so we gave it a second chance, and that sealed the deal. We won't be back.

The pad tai is good but crab Rangoon tastes like an espresso. Idk what happened, but it's literally burnt and tastes like a strong espresso. Im not kidding!! Theres no other way to describe it.... Never ordering that again from them. ZERO crab taste at all. Coffee and burn is what you will get...

Incredible food and reasonably priced. This is our favorite Thai restaurant and the service is excellent. We ordered Drunkin Noodles and Tom Yum soup and everything was fabulous.

I love this place, and I'm sorry I haven't given it 5 stars yet. My go to dish is the Tofu Pad Thai, as it also comes with mixed veggies, which is always cooked perfectly. Recently ate there in person for the first time and had the crispy duck and some cooked sushi balls, both of which were fantastic! And, their crab Rangoon is my favorite in this area! Oh, and try their coconut soup if you like such flavors. For desert, they make their own ice cream, their banana medallions are awesome, but my favorite is the sweet sticky rice with mango. I've been a customer for years and hopefully will be for many more years to come!

Ordered here for the first time ever today. The Pad Thai is, by far, the worst Pad Thai I’ve ever had in my life. It was made using a different noodle I’ve never seen pad Thai made with, which wouldn’t have been a big deal, except the dish was totally bland. There was almost no flavor. If I hadn’t ordered from Uber eats, I would be bringing it back and demanding a refund. If this is how you normally serve pad Thai, I’m amazed you’re still in business. Really bad. I won’t be back.

One of my favorite restaurants in New Port Richey. Great food and service.

Took my husband for his bday and the cook was very upset because we return the soup that was super salty also he ask for crispy duck that bring vegetables and mushrooms they refused to give him extra mushroom the two waiters were in pin and needles and she was scream I. The kitchen that entire restaurant could heard her. Moreover they were going to charge me 3 soup in one with only 4 shrimps and I had to pay like I about 3 times the price. We had ate here many times we had NO PROBLEM change your Cook.

All the elements come together to make a great dining experience

We had three dishes when we took out. I was told that The Amazing was just "alright". The Pad Thai and sushi was disappointing. The best tasting dish was the green curry. That one was pretty tasty. We had lunch portions, but considering, they were still a smidge bit too small.

Orchid Thai has been a terrific place to eat for years. They consistently offer the best service, freshly cooked meals and so delicious! Stop in at Orchid's Thai for lunch or dinner - you will enjoy it!

My favorite in this area

I ordered the amazing sauce in a Grubhub order. While the food was good there were a couple of issues. First the order took way too long. My delivery driver was there for about 20 minutes waiting. I so appreciate her for not reassigning the order. Second the portion size was about half of what I expected. I have been to the restaurant before and ate in. I really hate it when you get less food just because you order out.

Some of the best Thai food we've had in Tampa Bay! We got drunken noodles and red curry lunch specials. Soooo good! The red curry was the best we've ever had. We plan on coming back again and again to try more things on the menu!!

Absolutely terrible. Three orders missing, cold disgusting springrolls. ld rice. I will include pictures. I feel like I got robbed. We use to go there once a week. But they kept running out of the foods we wanted. Over salted it. And now, basically robbed me. They were good three years ago. I have no idea what happened to this place but I will say this, I try to support small businesses, but in this case, I do not recommend them for anything! NEVER AGAIN!

My mother and I came to enjoy some lunch here as we always enjoy Thia and sushi and thought we’d try this place out. We came at 2pm, once seated we were told they close at 2:30pm, okay no worries. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer. Once we went to order our meals, the server then decides to tell us that they can’t serve sushi because the sushi staff have already left….okay, I felt rushed to order something else quickly since they were closing soon, I got the chicken soup with rice noodles since they were also out of ramen noodles. We ate pretty quickly, while my mom was eating the server tried taking her miso soup that she hadn’t even touched yet. The chicken soup tasted weird/funky and strangely sweet. I went to put my soup in a to go container to see if my boyfriend would want it since I felt bad just wasting it. When I went to pour the soup there was a black hair floating in it….absolutely disgusting! I know for a fact it was not mine since I have blonde hair. Very disappointing experience

I ordered dinner take out from here for the first time. I ordered khao phad (Thai fried rice) with chicken, beef and shrimp and it was amazing! From the perfect l fried short grain rice to the fresh cucumber and tomato on top and I was even able to get the chicken sauce I had in Thailand and the marinated Thai chili peppers (fyi only pour the juice on the food not the peppers so the heat is spread throughout. Reminded me of the time I spent 4½ months in Thailand eating only Thai food and loved it like I did back then! Unfortunately you can't get a bowl for 50 bhat= $1 USD like I did at the street vendors back then but still well worth dining here and I will certainly return.

Both myself and some friends of mine have eaten at Orchid Thai on separate occasions. The consensus is that the food is great, service friendly, place is clean,and prices amazing. These small independent business owners work extremely hard to make it work.

Called here and asked for options for soups and ect because my throat was sore and I just wasn’t feeling so swell she walked me through some things from her culture that would be very well for me I went with what she recommended not only that but she gave me ginger tea and really took her time with me they are so sweet and caring and I appreciate the calming nurturing vibes that are at this restaurant it will always be a yes for me thank you again the lemon grass and ginger really helped me

We spent $80 on delivery for 3 dishes 2 soups and Crab Rangoon. The dishes were small and while we ordered spicy hot it was not even mildly hot. 2 small containers of rice that was sticky and flavorless. I normally order from Thai Cusine in Springhill but they were closed tonight. I won't be ordering from this place ever again totally overpriced for dishes with little taste and small.

Pad Thai was the worst I have ever had. No flavor and no spice at all. Just noodles and beef in tinfoil with a weird ketchup sauce. So disappointing....

First time there,(not that busy because there were other customers coming in being seated after us and getting their appetizers and food way before our order) waited 20 mins for a menu because the waitress thought we knew what we wanted. By that time we could have had our order in.Ordered appetizers that came slightly over cooked but edible after about another 20 mins. After 1 hour my dish came and had to wait another 10 mins for my husband’s dish to come out. Food was good. They never came around to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything, but I did noticed the waitress did go to the other tables to make sure they had everything they needed. My husband and I never complain we just like to have our date nights once a week and definitely will not be going here again. We love to support local businesses, but we will definitely cross this one off our list. Service was really bad!

Places a order for to go. I got a soup with shrimp and was given 1 shrimp. My green curry was not spicy at all and was put in a pint container causing it to make the box soggy and leaking. Also the way they packaged the food in the bag the soup lid was off and spilling all over. 1st and last time at this restaurant.

This is our go to neighborhood restaurant. Best wonton soup, hurricane chicken and chicken pai thai. Haven't had a bad dish yet. The lady waitresses are always friendly.

Of late they've changed to just another Thai like place. I assume they are catering to American taste. Every sauce is loaded with sweetener to the point the entries taste like deserts. But, they are more crowded too, so I guess it's good for business.

I've been coming here for years and I know what the service and food was previously like. I'm sadden to say that it is no longer good quality. I found a staple in my food and called them but they did not address it or apologize. My family has good memories from the past so I continued to come for them. Today, they got our order wrong and my daughter drove back after calling them on the phone. They were rude when speaking to my daughter and we will not be coming back at this point.

Ordered Wonton Soup. The Wonton Noodle tasted like over cooked Cream Cheese Mush in my mouth! The broth tasted like Pure Soy of Salt. I poured the rest down the drain Don't know what I did to deserve that! Save yourself and stay away from this place. It was like chemical warfare soup! As if they were trying yo kill me! Scratch this place off your list!

First time there, never again. I asked ,after 20 minutes how much longer my food would be,I was treated so rude,he said he didn't know,they had a big party, maybe I should call in my order. I only asked a question. Paid $17 for four pieces of shrimp,rice and veggies,not even spicy. Waste of my time and money.

Okay, i hail from Colorado where one of my favorite thai restaurants is and i have been searching and searching for a thai restaurant down here that meets my standards, and this blows all competition out of the water. I got the drunken noodles and the green curry. Both of which were bursting with authentic flavor. And the drunken noodles were the best Ive had in a long time. The only reason its four stars is because the portions they gave us were very small. Other than that the food is great, and the service was friendly. Highly recommend if youre looking for top notch Thai food.

I ate at Orchids Tai the other day and it’s was excellent from service to food. The bathroom was so clean I could have dines in there.. That tells me the kitchen must be sparkling. Will be a regular!

Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had, I do not say that lightly. I've traveled the country trying this type of food and this place wins by a landslide! Tom Kah soup, shrimp pad Thai, Tom yum goom soup, and sushi. You will not be disappointed !

I’ve tried so many places in the nearby vicinity but nothing beats this place and I always come back here so definitely come here and I assure you, you’ll be coming back here on the regular. It’s always so fresh & sooooo tasty.
The staff is extremely nice as well & I love the atmosphere inside.
I have dined in & did take out & you know sometimes where the food tastes diff when it’s take out? yeah not here. It’s always always on point. ALSO hugeeeee appreciation for the owners who decide when you do take out they put your noodles/ whatever you get in foil so it even stays hotter. Literally so thoughtful .. it’s always the little things. I’ll forever be coming back here. & the price is always right as well.

I love orchid Thai. We go here often for lunch, and I am never disappointed. The lunch specials are great, and I love that they serve sushi also. The Thai tea is delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable and staff is always friendly.

I've been wanting to visit Orchids Thai for a while, and I'm SO GLAD I finally did. I believe I've found my new favorite restaurant! The spicy tuna roll was good, though not the best I've ever had, but the Torpedo Shrimp with the green curry sauce was SO DELICIOUS!! The shrimp were plentiful, and, I have to confess I got into my leftovers at midnight! Their menu is HUGE, and I most certainly will be returning to try other things I saw passing me by for other patrons that also looked scrumptious. The service was IMPECCABLE. There isn't a thing I could complain about! If you like Thai food, do yourself a favor and go to Orchids Thai!!

This is one our regular places to eat at. Great thai food in a cozy environment. The sushi is great here too. This was our first time trying their soups, and they were very good, the broth was pho like. The fish balls appear to be homemade as well. They NEVER use MSG in their cooking (as stated on their menu).

Wow. Based on the fact this place is local AND has such a high overall rating we gave it a try.
Placed the order between 4:30-5pm for take out tonight (Thursday). There were maybe 2 tables of people eating inside. I should add, the set up is weird. It is not cozy or very inviting to sit. The staff greeted me right when I walked in but seemed bothered.

We ordered the pork red curry, chicken fried rice, a chicken pad Thai and an order of spring rolls. It took about 20 minutes for the order, not a long time for take out. That’s good right? Well we sit down to eat... HOW DISAPPOINTING! The spring rolls had a chewy and “crispy” rice paper texture, a horrible taste and funky smell. The chicken and pork were extremely DRY and tough. The meat of the dish, really!?
The fried rice was flavorless. The pad Thai was very bland, with the noodles being very chewy.
The portion sizes were decent but overpriced. Considering 4/4 dishes were gross, we won’t be back.

My family has been eating at Orchid Thai for years. It was a great meal, as usual. The best sushi around. And love the orchid plant my daughter and son in law bought me there after dinner. We had a 35 minute wait for a table but where wouldn't you wait on mothers day? It's always worth it. Plan on taking part of your meal home because they fill your plate up with the freshest vegetables, noodles, shrimp, whatever you order. Go tomorrow, thank me later.

Food was good as usual however the service was extremely slow. Our party waited nearly 45 minutes to get our food. Even then 1 plate at a time. Normally very good fast service, tonight was quite different.

Food was mediocre as to it's quality in the past. It may have something to do with the covered restaurant business slowdown. I will try it again in the future.
