My favorite meal here lately has been the Burmese curry with chicken and potato and I suggest it to anyone. The drunken noodle is also delicious if you like spicy food.

This is a top five place to eat in ALL of central PA. It is an all time favorite of my family and I. I am a super foodie and an ex chef and trust my word they are one of the best establishments around period! I have literally ate everything on the menu over the years, absolutely all of it is amazing. The sushi I would say is good but not the best, other then that all there soups, salads, apps and main dishes are very hard to beat. They make it with so much skill and love. You can't go wrong with this place. And to top it off they have an amazing owner that loves and appreciates his customers to the fullest and there servers are very pleasant and welcoming. We stopped by after ATA tournament and food was mind blowingly fresh. They make both Burmese and Thai food. We ordered Veg Tom yum, veg coconut soup and fried dumplings for apps. Coconut soup was so tasty we ended up ordering 2 more. For main, we ordered Veg red curry, Chicken Ohno Khao sue, Spicy Burmese fried rice, Veg Pad kee mao. All of them were lip smackingly delicious. We finally finished with mango sticky rice for dessert.
The owner also happily chatted with us and we found that he’s from Burma.

Wow, I can’t believe I never found this place sooner. Their Pad Si Ewe is so good. The noodles are chewy without being mushy and the sauce is flavorful without being overwhelming and salty. I love the variety of vegetables in the dish as well. The service was very friendly and quick. This is the best Thai place I’ve had in the area.

My husband and I finally stopped in this evening and let me tell you this Place is absolutely Amazing , Food is just wonderful the service is wonderful and the place is very nice ! This is not a formal type restaurant. But it is clean, comfortable, with quick service and tasty food.

We went for my son's birthday. Always fresh and tasty. Price point is great as well. Staff is great and knowledgeable.

Love this place! Food, service, atmosphere so great. The building in which the restaurant lives is so far from a "palace" that you must realize that what makes Eastern Palace a palace is the food and the people. And that includes both clientele, chef, wait-staff.

I feel bad even writing this. Love eastern palace whether dining in or getting it delivered. All past experiences have been great. Unfortunately this time not so much. Got dinner for me and my daughters last night they each got sushi and I got curry with seafood in it. We all now pretty sure have food poisoning. They have been throwing up and I’ve felt unwell also. Still think this restaurant is great but there is something definitely going on at the moment that made us ill.

Eastern Palace became my favorite restaurant almost immediately- everyone is so nice, the food is phenomenal, and there's a big enough variety that there's something for everyone. I've never had anything from here that wasn't just absolutely delicious

The food here was excellent (both traditional Thai dishes and Sushi). Our group included people visiting from NYC, DC, and Boston, and all agreed that this restaurant would have been successful in any of those places. Strongly recommend this restaurant!

Eastern Palace is my favorite restaurant in the Lancaster area if not in the world, the food is that good. I have tried about half of the menu and everything is delicious and flavorful. My personal favorite is the Burmese sautéed noodle dish with egg noodles, chicken, and spicy level 7. Every appetizer I've ordered is amazing, but I am partial to the buthi jyaw and the golden bag. Whenever someone visits me from out of town, we go to Eastern Palace, and they are always blown away.

Beyond the food, everyone who works at Eastern Palace has been nothing but kind and welcoming to me. Truly the nicest staff, and I can't wait to go back soon :)

Absolutely delicious. Burmese Noodles were great, and the lunch special of 3 sushi rolls for 15 bucks (spicy tuna, spicy salmon and coconut shrimp) were some of the best I've had. Service is incredibly fast, almost too fast! Try this place out.

We will definitely be back to this place on our next trip. Don't let the shopping center appearance fool you. Legit chinese and schezewan food.

This place is awesome! We stop every time we visit the Lancaster area and order A LOT! We love the Thai curries and get them to freeze for later, along with much more to eat that day and over the next few days. No matter what they're in, the veggies are always cooked just right with just a bit of crunch left in them (I hate mushy veggies in soups and noodle dishes). You can tell they were fresh to start and not frozen. Most things you can choose your desired spice level, so as not to burn your face off by accident. Overall a wonderful place to order from!!

Best and most authentic Burmese food you can get this far out of NYC. Service and wait times are always quick and efficient. And the owner checks with every customer every meal to ensure everything is exceptional! I wish every business had this much pride in their product.

I've been visiting Eastern Palace for years when I was in college and now after college as well. Their food is consistently flavorful with delicious contributing herbs and spices. The team members are always so kind and attentive. My favorite menu option is the Kay Kye Kite (spelling) - a Burmese noodle dish. You can choose your spice level as well. Pictured is the Burmese noodle dish and Shrimp Tempura sushi roll.

I have only dined in twice, which was wonderful, but i order takeout 2-3x per week and it is always perfect! And when you provide special instructions, they really do follow them! I have food allergies and it is always nice to know that you can make some changes and they allow you to. Keep up the good work!

Colleagues are regulars to this place. Everyone who came here always found something they liked. Even the picky ones. The restaurant owner is a great host. Very flexible in how you want to customize your food.

I headed out to my fave Pho Pasteur, which shares a parking lot with Eastern Palace, wandered in for a look for a take-away menu. Will be back next week - if I can wait that long - with family & friends gathering. Food was DELICIOUS and the space is bright and casual and clean - and the staff chat with you like family. Burmese noodle dish and tea leaf salad were bright and well made and enough for two (but I ate all the noodles myself).

Nice enough for a casual date meal - service good, unobtrusive, but if alone, you can linger with a little reading and some Thai tea or coffee.

Several different regional curries in the menu - will have to try them all.

Updated review - Have been back to dine several more times since my original review, and the food has always been exceptional. They offer several different curry options, they have Burmese dishes as well as Thai options, and everything we have tried has been really enjoyable. Everything has been fresh & flavorful. They offer different spice levels, and they also have 3 different spicy sauces that they can bring to the table to let you add more spice to your dish. Service has always been very good, as well. They are a busy place, but every time we are there, we have been able to find a table. Great little gem of flavorful & wonderful food.

Original Review: First & foremost, the food was very good. Between the 2 of us, we ordered a sushi combo, their pumpkin curry w/ vegetables, and their Burmese tofu salad. Everything was really delicious & tasty. The biggest surprise we had was the pumpkin curry - it was large pieces of cooked pumpkin & vegetables in a curry sauce. We assumed the sauce would be a pumpkin/curry combo - but it's not. It's curry sauce with cooked pumpkin & vegetables (and very good, too). The service was also very good - they checked on us for refills of water, etc... often. The man who took our order seemed like the owner, and he was very proud of the options that they offer. Enjoyed meeting him and listening to his descriptions of the food. We will definitely plan on returning - and we'll bring a bottle of wine next time as it is BYOB. Now we are anxious to try even more different things on their menu.

Went with a party of 5 tried. 10 different menu items and they were all amazing! I live down in Baltimore but would happily make a trip back. Service was excellent too!

We tried Burmese food for the first time here…SOOO good!! Service was great; our server was so friendly and kind. The strawberry smoothie was tasty! Be sure to save room for the Fried Bananas with ice cream! Yum!

I love this place. I'm traveling for work and the group wanted Thai food. A quick Google search, and this place popped up on the map.

The service was amazing. I wish I had gotten the names of some of the folks working there to throw them some kudos online.

The food was delicious, portion sizes are good and prices are well within normal range. I also happened to get a lesson in Burmese food which is also on the menu. I suspect it's as delicious as everything else.

I'll be going back during this trip and any other trips I make up here.

I got my boyfriend just as obsessed and we come here for every occasion, including today for our 4 years!The owner is the absolute sweetest and this place is just all around superb! We go to the Eastern Palace often. There is a wide variety of dishes, spicy and not, meaty and meatless, Burmese, Thai, Japanese, Chinese. When we take our friends, with their latest dietary restrictions, everyone can find items that satisfy. The owner and his family are exceptionally friendly. The prices are reasonable.

My favorite Drunken Noodle on the East Coast!

It's a little pricey for me so I don't eat here often but when I do it never lets me down! Service is great, everything I've ordered has been amazing. Also love the drive thru window when doing pick up.

My husband and I ordered take out, the service was good, food good as well. The general tsos was okay, just different than I’m used to. The sushi was good only thing I found interesting is the fact they put rice crispy cereal on the sushi roll, but it was still wonderful. The chicken satay was wonderful, and the sauce with it so good. I will absolutely be back! I’ve come back to edit my review after eating here for the third time. My husband and I went back he got the general tsos and it was a lot better than before. Then tonight I came with a friend and I got the sushi again which is just wonderful, some new items the fried bananas and the pork egg roll also tried the dumplings and let me just say I will continue to come here. This place does such an amazing job. The food is consistently good. I haven’t found anything I don’t like. I’ve also tried the samosa which was good but too spicy for my liking. Wow, relaxing ambience, delicious food, and classy service in a simple, unassuming restaurant.

Their Thai green curry is just another level. The flavors are rich and are punctuated by the mild spicyness.

The food was fantastic. I can't say that it will replace some of my other go-to places for sushi/Asian food, but many of the items here are more unique than other places that it would still make my rotation and warrants 5 stars. The Burmese noodles were fantastic and had a unique kind of savory flavor to them (possibly because I've not had Burmese food before). While the sushi selection wasn't very big, they do offer a lot of different rolls that I've not seen compared to other local places. The Hawaiian roll we got was unlike anything else I've had.

They were also very willing to navigate making things gluten free for us. Service was VERY fast.
