We are a full service restaurant serving authentic Thai cuisine for lunch or dinner in a very cozy Thai atmosphere! Feel free to dine in or order take out. Food quality and service are paramount to us at our Yum Thai Restaurant.
Yumm Thai!!!
Decent Thai restaurant and good food. We happen to be in the area and looked up their menu in interest.
However, our server rushed on us to place an order. The restaurant closes at 9 pm and we were on the table at 8 pm. So we asked other servers, and she very much comforted us and took good care that we are not rushed. Thanks to her.
However, because of this experience, we only ordered Chicken Satay and Drunken Noodles and decided to leave shortly. Otherwise we were planning to order their Green Curry, Pineapple Rice and dessert π
Food was good. Chicken Satay was nicely flavored, tender, and soft. Noodles were well cooked tossed in sauces, tomatoes, bell pepper adding that burnt wok flavor. We liked the food but did not enjoy it. We felt undone and incomplete.
Though will say the place is nice and welcoming. Food taste is good. Good portion. If you are in the area, do try it.
The food was pretty good. My other dishes and beverages were flavorful. Iβm disappointed with the mango sticky rice. I get it consistently. Sometimes itβs too milky or itβs too dry, and mango is not ripe. Flavor was good this time, but I paid $8 for what looks like about $3-4 of food. This is not the first time either.
Yum Thai Restaurant offers a quaint dining experience that's worth a visit. My my overall experience was positive.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming, adding to the overall dining ambiance. However, I found the papaya salad to be a bit too salty for my taste, which was a slight disappointment.
On the bright side, the sticky rice with mango was an absolute delight! It was perfectly executed, and the combination of flavors was spot on. In fact, it was so good that I would consider returning just for this delectable dessert.
Despite the minor setback with the papaya salad, Yum Thai Restaurant earns a solid four stars for its charming atmosphere and standout mango rice dessert. With a few tweaks, it has the potential to become a go-to spot for Thai cuisine enthusiasts like myself.
Only reason itβs not a five star rating is because I wanted more stems than leaves in my dish but thatβs not on them, thatβs on my personal preference.
My mother has been visiting this gem for the last 5 years and just recently have I been joining in on her meals.
Small space, cute aesthetic, single restroom, pleasant customer service, great food! and average prices.
We had β¦
PAD KA NAR ( STIR-FRIED CHINESE BROCCOLI) I had no protein on my dish but it does come with one. Steamed rice
PAD WOON SEN
2x CHICKEN SATAY
Side of French fries
Update; We've been here a handful of times since my initial review about 2 years ago and most recently, June 22nd for lunch. They were not busy and it still took 10 minutes just to get our drinks. The water tasted nasty and the same nasty water was used to make ice, which made the soft drinks taste nasty. We got egg rolls for an appetizer and they were barely warm and one had a burnt end. The rice dishes were about room temperature and didn't taste very good. The chicken pad Thai was not good. The chicken was dry and over cooked. The dish in general didn't taste all that good. And like two years ago, we were never given dishes, napkins or silverware, so it made eating difficult. We had to ask again for silverware.
I believe we are done with this place.
We came here for the first time on August 2nd. The food was pretty good, but could have been better. The chicken in the Pad Thai was a little over cooked and dry as was the beef in the other dishes. Flavor wise, everything was pretty good. After our food was given to us we had to wait a couple minutes to get the forks to be able to eat. That should have been given to us during the long wait to get our food. I'm sure we will be back.
This is our go to Thai restaurant. We have others close to our home but we come here. We live closer to the old Bandera location which closed so we drive over to this location now. Great food and great service. The restaurant is clean nice with a nice atmosphere. We have dined in and ordered take out. Everything is perfect each time.
Amazing Thai food and the service is fantastic. Marie was our server and she was so attentive and sweet.. She went over the menu, so we knew what to order which was so helpful.. The Tom Ka soup is so delicious and fresh. The noodles were so tasty and flavorful, we added pork and tofu and it was a perfect addition. And the Thai coffee I had and the iced tea is a must try... highly recommended for delicious Thai food.
Mango sticky rice was pretty decent but the portion you receive for $8 is absolutely ridiculous. Rice itself is insanely inexpensive so I truly donβt understand the scarcity of it with my dessertβ¦

Great Sticky Rice with Thai Custard! Good food and service.

Waitress was very rude and impolite during our time there. I visit from time to time, showing the spot to my friends but this time the lady who was serving us was very rude. Donβt recommend going back, thereβs plenty of other solid food spots around town with much friendlier people.
Delicious flavor and large portions
Paid 50.00 for an Uber eats order of shrimp fried rice xβs2. Food was disgusting. No salt, shrimp were undercooked & mushy. Iβm so disgusted. Tried calling & vm was the only option to leave a message. Quality of service in this to go order really bad. If you are thinking about ordering. βTake outβ donβt do it. Complete waste of money.
Good food. Average service. Don't order online because smaller portions are delivered for the same amount of money. $11 for a small takeout container.
Everything is delicious. I lovd the egg rolls, spring rolls and chicken and veggies. Last night i got the soup and they brought it out in a warmer to keep it warm. It was soooo yummy. Highly recommend. The staff is always really nice and helpful. Thank you for always having yummy food and great service
The food is great! It's hit or miss with take out though, they tend to forget items or mess something up. Love their spring rolls when they aren't too greasy and their drunken noodles is delicious!
Nice to have vegan options. Medium spicy was perfect for the tofu red curry
We have been coming here for years, itβs our go-to Thai restaurant in San Antonio. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is pleasant, and the food is delicious. The crab rangoons and the curries are our favorite! The one thing Iβll say is when you are specifying your spice level, you are kinda playing roulette. We donβt personally mind, we joke that they give us the spice that we need, not necessarily exactly what we asked for. However, if you are very particular about spice level, tell them no spice and use the provided chili oil that they leave on the table.

Absolutely favorite place to get my Pad Thai. Love the ambiance of this cute location. Always great service!
This place is amazing
My experience working at yum thai was a 10/10 experience! The employees/owners were amazing as well as the food, and I enjoyed being a part of that. The foodβs a must try to anyone interested in trying Thai food, and my personal favoriteβs the Pad Thai. Although I wonβt be working there anymore, Iβll definitely be eating there often as a customer π
I ordered their food via Uber.Pot stickers were good and priced right. My kids seemed happy with their Drunken Noodles and Pork Pad Thai. My issues are with their portion for their fried rice as an entree is small compared to most other thai restaurants that offer enough to share. My other complaint was with the beef on the red curry. The beef tasted dry and freezer burnt and again a small portion. Also there is no option to add peanuts to any of the dishes on their Uber listing. I donβt mind paying more for good quality food. But for the price, I did expect more from Yum Thai. I donβt intend to order any more meals from this place.
My second favorite Thai restaurant. Wonderful food and service!
where can i start?
from when they first greeted me at the door, to my whole dining service, everything was great. my crab ragoons were warm and didnβt have that usual oily taste like i usually get at other thai places. my green curry was excellent and my service was well paced.
i would recommend this place to anyone whoβs open enough to try!!!
service was great, atmosphere was everything, to the music and the lighting. my thai cashew was perfectly spiced and had just the right amount of sauce. my server was absolutely perfect. kept my unsweet tea filled and kept my dining experience short, just the way i like. will be eating here again!!
1st time in my life leaving a bad review, thatβs how bad the service was. Server was extremely rude and made a scene.
Intimate place for a meal with friends, as a couple, or solo. Service is good and the food is even better.
Love going here, favorite Thai place in Texas
I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. It took about 2 minutes to get to my table. The noodles were not cooked all the way. I don't think I will go back. The service was very good though.
I love the pad thai from here itβs the best! Everything is always fresh and made to order. I understood that the sauce is made in house itβs amazing! If you havenβt come by you should!
Great food and service! βΊοΈ
The Pad Wun Sen was the worst Iβve ever had. It had zero flavor, no spice, and the chicken looked questionable. A $16 waste.
We met a friend of my wifes for lunch today. Appetizers were hot and fresh. Entrees were great. Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen, and Tom Yum Soup were all tasty!
Food was amazing!!!! My server Alaura was welcoming and super attentive, she recommended the thai cashew and it was delicious.
Canβt wait to return and enjoy her wonderful hospitality again!
Literally another thai place could open up around here and take all of their business. They only currently hold the area due to location and proximity for all of the culebra customers.
This restaurant is a disservice to Thai cuisine and can confidently say itβs the worst Thai food Iβve ever had. The fried rice was undercooked and crunchy, and the drunken noodles were also poorly prepared. There was no seasoning on any of the dishes, including the proteins. Everything was bland! The potstickers tasted like they had been microwaved from frozen, and the wings were completely flavorless. While the egg rolls were passable, the rest of the meal was so bad that we decided to cancel our duck entree and go somewhere else
The owner informed us that if we didnβt pay for the duck, it would come out of our serverβs pay, which was quite concerning. Itβs a shame because our server was wonderful.
We paid for the duck and asked to take it to go to give to the guy on the corner with the βhungryβ sign. When they gave us the duck to go, I realized it was incredibly lite and checked it. They only gave us half the portion of the order! I can only assume the owner or who ever in the kitchen kept the other half for themselves.
I donβt ever write negative reviews, but I had to warn the community about making the same mistake we did. Save your money and go to a different Thai restaurant!
This is by far the worst Thai restaurant I have been to in San Antonio. We were very unsatisfied with the food ordered. The food lacked flavor, and just picked at the food. We also ordered the duck curry but decided to cancel and were told we will still be charged for it or if we cancel our server would have to pay for the dish. This was not her fault at all, it is the management to blame. Our server was very attentive and understood we were unsatisfied with the food. We felt apologetic towards her saying that to us so we paid for the food and just took it to go and the plate felt very light so we assumed they just gave us a small amount and probably kept the rest for themselves. We will never come back I assure you this. As far as atmosphere goes, itβs decent and seemed like a nice restaurant but the lack of patrons there also made sense since the food is just as terrible as their management.
Food was fantastic, server was attentive, helpful and kind. Had the chicken pad Thai and it was flavorful and well cooked. 10/10
A++ great place to eat at, new to this area of town. I am a big Thai food fan. I came here today in passing. I order easy Thai food I can eat, I am allergic to shellfish and most fish. I ordered the Thai fried rice asked if they can make it spicy -ordered hot (levels are medium, hot, and Thai hot)and asked for it got and it was delicious. I came here on Sunday, July 14. The service was phenomenal, I had a gal who was super sweet dark short hair with glasses. Food was fast, fresh, beautiful, and delicious. I look forward to coming back here especially on the weekends for their lunch specials. Thank you!

Foods expensive w no taste and the lady that takes the orders over the phone is so incompetent and rude .

Food is amazing I love getting it to go here. But today may be my last time. Placed an order to go to be picked up at 7:00 walked in 7:05 and literally stood at the front for over 15 minutes and not a single person spoke to me, AT ALL. Finally someone came to cash someone out and even then acted as if she couldnβt see me so I told her I hadnβt been helped yet and she had nothing to say, just kept cashing her table out and completely ignoring me. That alone would have made me leave. The ONLY reason I didnβt leave was because already paid. But best believe I wonβt be back. Which is sad bc I literally love the food here. Update. After 44 minutes of waiting finally got my food and it WASNβT EVEN HOT! even has some hard noodles. Smdh
Great Service and great food.
I have finally found my Thai place in S.A.! The food was so amazing. We ordered the crab rangoons, Thai fried rice, and red curry both with chicken and medium spice level. My only criticism was that I wanted more chicken, lol. The food was so delicious and exactly what we were looking for. The rangoons were cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. I can't wait to come here again!

*The best Thai Food in San Antonio .
*New owner is super friendly .
* Very clean and good to relax.
* The foods is always best.
*Recommendation - * Pad Thai
*Won Sen
*F-R
*Pot Sticker, Egg Roll
*Red Duck and Straberry boba tea.
Went on a Saturday at 8:20 to eat dinner, as soon as we walked in, my family and I were told that they stop serving food at 8:20. On the door for hours it does not show a time in which they close. Very disappointed on the service and the fact that there is nothing stating or showing that they stop serving at 8:20.
Food was amazing, service amazing as well 100% recommend
Service was terrible today. I loved dining in at yum Thai with my family but today I decided to do takeout today and I ordered a kids chicken pad Thai and I requested in the special instructions to use tofu for the substitute of meat they did it before the last time I dined in. And for the taro drink I requested no boba. My mom went to go pick it up and came back very displeased with the service. My mom checked the kids meal and it had chicken she told the lady who gave her the food that in the special instructions we requested tofu the lady tells my mom βwe donβt serve it with tofu itβs always been chickenβ which is a lie when we dined in they did it with no problem. My little sister has a dietary issue where she canβt eat meat it will make her ill. The online system i used is supposed to keep me updated on my order but it kept saying confirmed didnβt say ready for pickup but it did give me time where it might be ready so my mom when it ten minutes after the time it told me just to be safe and my drink wasnβt even done and it wasnβt even done right. I requested no boba on my taro but it had boba? My mom showed the lady my receipt with the special instructions and she just told my mom again that wasnβt her problem and she tried to grab the food away. My mom had enough talking back and forth so she left and told me everything. I was very disappointed I love dinning here but with the disrespectful service towards my own mom was just disgusted . I spent 40$ on this and it wasnβt even worth it with the service and incorrect food.
I come here all the time with my friends, and I have never tried something I didnβt enjoy! Such a gem of a restraunt!
We love the pad thai!!
We have been coming here a couple times a year since we moved to the area.
We believe there may have been a new owner recently because a lot of the complaints we had before have seemed to been addressed and improved.
The food portions seem to be more and well presented. The location seems cleaner even the bathrooms. The service was better everything was better.
Kudos to the new owner for the obvious improvements and making this our new go to for Thai in the area.
Good food, but way overpriced. $14 for a small container of noodles and you have to pay $3 extra if you want to add any meat. Thatβs $17 total for one person. Way too high. Iβll stick to In-N-Out Burger!
Iβve never had a single good dish from this place. last time I went, I ordered calamari Iβm 90% sure I was served animal anusβ¦never going here again :(
Went there to purchase Boba Tea like I usually do after going to Lowes. I love the drinks there. My mother had to use the bathroom upon entering and I went to the desk to order. My mother politely asked to use the bathroom and was rudely told it's for paying customers. I over heard her while standing infront of the desk and said "She is a paying customer. We have come to order." And I pointed at the Boba sign. The server said nothing and walked away. I was helped by another woman. As soon as we got our drinks we immediately left. I will never take my family here again. If we just wanted to use a bathroom I would have driven to a gas station.
the food is truly fantastic.
Great food and service. Food comes quickly, and you receive nice size portions of food. A must try is you like a little spice in your life.
Amazing restaurant. Super amazing service and very kind people. Food always has so much flavor
I called in the order at 5:35. I arrived at 6:10 thinking my food would be cold. I arrived and there seemed to be confusion as my food was not ready. I have three young children in the car one of whom needed to use the bathroom. I explained I needed to go sit in the car because of the children and assured my food would be ready soon. I waited another 20 minutes with cranky children in the car thinking it would be any minute. In total from start to finish my food was not ready until an hour later. When I called at 635 (the hour mark) sitting outside the restaurant my call was ignored. When I came in a second time asking, an older woman was very understanding and boxed my food but I was not given any apology or explanation. When I tried to ask the server what was going on he rudely answered that phone instead of speaking with me when they had already ignored other calls. I will not return for both how long it took for the food to be ready and how rude they were. I was ignored and as I tried to talk to the person who insisted he take the phone call, I left speaking loudly that I would not be back. If you want to spend money (this was $47!!!) and be ignored and treated terribly, go here. I will take my business elsewhere.
The Drunken noodles were so darn good. The pad Thai was very good as well.
Many of the flavors tasted like what we enjoyed in Asia. The only place I like is at the airport by Soul so I wonβt comment on that.
Needs huge improvement on service.
I like your food, but I want to give my opinions for your business to train your employee service skills better.
Your customers time is priceless, we are very busy and we are willing to wait for a period of time that you told us, not way longer than that.
Please tell us the right waiting time before we order and pay. Not β15-20minβ and we ended up wait for an hour. One of them not even tell us the time at all.
Please finish our orders, in order. Not cooking for people who dine-in first, and door dash/delivery last.
I saw many people come in dine-in after us, and they still got their food first while we have been waiting for a while.
There should be communication and checking on people who are waiting. If you see there are still people waiting, please check if any of our orders are done, and let us know, not waiting until we come up to ask because we have been waiting for so long.
Went in a few days ago for some drinks, the old lady that took my order was very rude and had a terrible attitude. She made faces and didnβt make me feel welcome at all. It was very disappointing to receive such poor and terrible service, especially when I was paying for it and not getting it for free.
We had the Pan Woon Sen and Massaman Curry. As well as the egg rolls. Delicious.
have visited many times and i'm completely obsessed with the beef pho and the tom jued soup with veggies and tofu <3 the pad see ew was delicious, too! great service and great recommendations :D the one downside was that the second time we ordered pad see ew (this time it was to-go instead of dine-in), it was a much smaller portion and was missing the flavor/sauce, which we didn't realize until getting home. all other to-go orders (just soup) have been consistent :) this has definitely become one of my favorite restaurants!
I love supporting small businesses that have care and attentiveness like Yum Thai. Good people, making good food with good intentions.Thank you.
Excellent Thai restaurant!!! Definitely recommend IMO one of the best Thai restaurants in SA! Food was deliciously amazing! First time dining at Yum Thai! It was during lunch (peak hour) & our server Joy A provided excellent service, she was very attentive. We had the vegetable soup with choice of eggroll/crab Rangoon as part of the lunch special that is paired with an entree: photos: vegetable soup w/eggroll, Three Best Friends w/side of jasmine rice, Pad See Ew. Definitely a hidden gem in Alamo Ranch!
I had to hurry because I was at my lunch break, I really wanted to call into work because of how delicious the Vegetarian Thai Rice with chicken was... absolutely savory. The service was great, atmosphere was quiet. I loved it. Thank you Yum Thai staff/
Everything I've gotten here has been really really good. And I have been here many times. The medium heat is still a little mild, fyi.
Worst service I've ever had! When they ask " how was everything " and I responded Worst service I've had and they don't even apologize. Used to be my go to, but not anymore!!
The place and atmosphere is nice; the service was quick and attentive, and the food was tasty and generously portioned. We had some of the best Pad Thai we've had in a long time. One of party members is from Thailand, and she really liked the food - unlike other Thai places she has tried in San Antonio.
This place is good for the food overall 4 out of 5. However the service is something to be admired. Depending who you are dealing with you may have an excellent experience or a hell no I wonβt come back experience. For example, I called in an order as I usually would and encountered a young lady the encounter was something left to be desired. She wasnβt paying attention and seemed like she was distracted and paying attention to a customer was last on her list. Additionally I found a better place not too far from there that the food is 5 out of 5.
A bit pricey but very good food and service. I had the green curry which was spicy and delicious. My server was great as well.
This visit was decent. It was certainly winding down from a lunch crowd. The Thai ice tea was absolutely loved by other members of the party.
Everything was Great. The food, service, and prices. Will definitely return. Plus they also give military discount. Thanks.
I havenβt tried the food yet. The staff is nice but I ordered my food at 1:51pm and itβs currently 2:35pm and Iβm still waiting for my food
The best egg roll I've ever had!! The staff was also super nice and she was so helpful when I went there with my kid. We also got for to go and they packed it well. Everything was great but one less star because even when we got the "mild" level which was the least spicy level, it was still spicy so my kid couldn't eat the pad see ew and curry we got. Fortunately she liked the egg roll so much so she had something to eat. I think their "mild" level is like 1-2 level of spice for another restaurant.
Update 2023 Aug
We ordered to go the exactly same menu and same level of spice cause it was really good! We ordered extra noodles for my kid just in case the mild level is spicy again. But it was NOT spicy at all this time! Last time I saw chili flakes but this time there was no chili flake in it! My 2yo child enjoyed the pad see ew this time! Thank you so much for the change. I am so happy that I can share with my 2yo child.
Yum Thai is currently my favorite spot in the area. A true gem in the Alamo Ranch! As of this writing, an A/100 grade is hanging in the window. Service is quick and the hospitality is top tier. The food is delicious and fairly priced. Portion sizes are more than plenty. Today I had Massaman Curry and Mango Sticky Rice and it was delightful. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!
Was seated and ignored. Sat while watching other people that showed up after us get there order taken. Wasnβt even asked for drink order.
Everything was delicious.
Food is amazing! Presentation all they way to flavor! Only thing that needs improvement is the lack of attention by the wait staff..to busy talking to coworkers or on their cell phones!
I love this place. The portions are very large. Iβve never had a bad experience here. Many bubble tea flavors too. Itβs very clean too. The staff is very polite. Great energy!
Delicious!!!
Our first experience here was great! Our waiter, Aaron, was friendly and attentive the whole time. I do not know him or anybody here and hope this will help anybody curious about this place in the future. Food was hot and fresh, service was timely and professional and they had a calm clean environment to dine in. I also canβt forget to mention that their bathroom was exceptionally clean and smelled better than most folks houses. Funniest part is that we ordered an appetizer and our drinks then decided to leave. After eating the rangoons we were hooked and decided to stayπ Even when we told our waiter we changed our mind and weβre gonna leave he didnβt make a face or show his displeasure, he kindly gave us our appetizer to go and stayed professionally. Thanks Yum Thai for a great experience.
The staff was so friendly and the food was so good.
if i could leave 0 stars i would. i used to be a loyal customer and would always choose this when i ate out but the last few months have been nothing but poor service and food. iβm not sure if they have new management or what but thereβs a big change and a bad one at that. iβve had items missing in my order, completely wrong orders, cold food, and my most recent experience as why iβm not going back is my pick up order took an hour longer than what they said it would. staff kept telling me theyβd check on my order and would go to the back for 10+ minutes and then try to avoid me. they even tried to hand me someone elseβs order! not worth it.
Thai Tea - 5/5 - perfect
- Hard to mess up Thai Tea. Tasted as it should
Thai Wings - 3.5/5 - Good
- Plain but sauce makes up for it. Cooked well
Chicken Satay - 3/5 - above average
- Weak sauce, odd chicken texture
Pad See Ewe - 3.5/5 - Good
- Basic pad see ewe, good flavor
Panang Curry - 2.5/5 - average
- Not enough coconut. Way too much bell pepper. Doesn't really taste like a classic panang. Rice was good though.
Total - $49.19
Decent casual Thai food. Kinda pricey for the flavor
Great food and service
Yum Thai pleasantly surprised me in more ways than one!
The outside is very unassuming, but the interior and atmosphere is comfortable, and classy. The food we ordered tasted SO YUMMY and was at our table before we even finished our appetizer, which also was served lickety-split. My favorite was the "Three Best Friends" entree, which I ordered with Shrimp, Chicken, and crispy Tofu. The house tamarind sauce absolutely MADE it!
We will definitely be dining here again, as the prices are reasonable, and it's great as a little date spot.
Yum Thai is our go-to spot for Thai food, offering a variety of delightful dishes. While most of their offerings are excellent, their Pad Thai can be a hit or miss. On some occasions, it is absolutely delicious and satisfying, but there have been a few instances where it didn't quite meet expectations. Nonetheless, the restaurant maintains a cozy ambiance, and the service is friendly and attentive.
Best pot stickers
I ordered the pad Thai for my mom and I for Motherβs Day and was HIGHLY disappointed. It was a mild chicken pad Thai, there was no flavor, no sauce leaving noodles dry, and not even a mild spice. Some pieces of chicken were chewy as well. As a pad Thai enthusiast, I wouldnβt recommend going here. The amount of disappointment from the pad Thai has deterred me from wanting to give anything else on the menu a try. One star for the portion size.
Great food bad service
Tonight the food was great, but the service was so bad I wonβt be going back. Nobody asked our drinks we waited 15 minutes before asking to get our drinks and order.
When I ordered my order came without scallops which is part of the meal. We had to ask three different waiters to bring us more drinks, to go boxes, and the order. And when our assigned waiter finally came to the table it was to hand us the bill. He asked if everything was okay and I told him the service was pretty bad he said β sorry, it happens sometimesβ
But the food is good I will say that. If youβre gonna go I do recommend you order the Thai cashew or the clay pot my favorites. And the spring rolls for appetizers π«Ά
So yummy Pad Thai.
Best Thai Iβve had awesome service 10out of 10
Came here to celebrate my birthday. Food is always fantastic along with great service. Always a great experience
We have eaten there more times than i can count. Always the same. Great tasting food, exceptional service and very respectful people. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
WORST "THAI" FOOD EVER
I ordered panang curry and egg rolls on Doordarsh. The "curry" had little flavor and was watery like soup!!! Panang is supposed to be thick and creamy..... what a joke. There was also giant tomato chunks in the "curry" which is NOT normal or even necessary!!! The egg rolls were very greasy like they don't heat their oil enough before frying. Don't waste your time on this trash. Thai hut is a million times better but they didn't confirm my order so I had to use these people but it regret it and I will avoid them forever.
Stopped in to try the chicken pad Thai. Thai hott ππ.. customer for life!!!!. Our server was Aaron. She was the best. Very knowledgeable about the ingredients.wish she can be our server every where. Definitely recommend trying out.
Great service and fast. Love the curries.
Great service and really delicious food.
Food is good. Service is ok. Tried ordering through the phone, but restaurant would not pick up after several calls. Ordered in the restaurant and got my order wrong.
Love the food & service we receive each time we order. Have not dined in but I would be surprised if the atmosphere wasn't top notch too.
Packed house today; some waited a while for a table. Thai Pho and Tom Yum were delicious! The vegetable rolls were so fresh tasting. Nice place.
Tom Kha Gai is my go-to, and they never fail. My fiancee gets the Red/Green curry, and the flavor is on point. Im sure the other selections are delicious but just addicted to my go-to
The food was really good, ordered takeout and it was ready fairly quickly.
I also got a mango boba drink and it was great, the tapioca was the best i've ever had, and mango flavor was also delicious. My grandparents tried boba for the first time here, and their reactions were the best. I think I made a core memory here.
Amazing service as well. Overall I had a very enjoyable time and the food was good, I'll definitely be back soon.
V tasty Thai food. Will go there again when in San Antonio.
Asked for beef and they gave us chicken, asked for no bean sprouts and they gave us bean sprouts. Food was a little bland.
Most of their dishes can be made vegan. We had the following vegan dishes. Red Curry with tofu, Panang Curry with tofu, fried rice, Fresh Veggie rolls and the Mango Sticky Rice (Dessert)
We got here before the evening rush and service was quick. The portions were big. The food was flavorful but not too spicy, since we ordered it mild, though they can make it spicier if you ask.
I'll give this place thumbs up been there several times and every time it is a been great job
This place didn't meet my expectations. I asked for a khao pad( fried rice) with veggies and shrimp, I expected the veggies would be broccoli, carrots, peas, green beans, I didn't have none of that. They gave me tomatoes and onions, what a joke! I don't even eat tomatoes and onions. Probably the worst Thai food I've ever had, the food tasted burnt and it's overpriced.
5 stars only in comparison to other Thai places around here. When I first came here, I thought the food was mediocre, but after trying a few other Thai places around here, I keep coming back. Really tough finding decent Asian food in San Antonio.
Good Thai food. Didn't get four stars due to sticky table. Outside of that the second time we went it was more favorable in the table. Wasn't sticky. Lol.
Had the Red Curry Duck, Pad Thai with shrimp, crab Rangoon and egg rolls , everything was delicious !! Our server AJ hit the ground running!! AJ was awesome recommending food options, AJ was right there to fill our drinks and clear our plates !! Very clean restaurant !!
Super great food, although many problems with costumer service. Iβve been here twice and both times itβs felt very unwelcoming and seems as if the servers are very unsure of what they are doing. The most recent Iβve gone was very busy. Staff still seemed odd, saw multiple with air pods in. Maybe to communicate with kitchen? But definitely not present. Took about an hour and a half for our food had to ask twice about it. Understood it was busy, but unresponsive as well. Good food if you wanna wait for awhile.
This place is going down , we waited for 7 minutes no one came up to our table, and thatβs after they sat us !?!?
Another lady stopped a waitress or host ?!? and said she asked for a Togo container and has been waiting for it. For 10 minutes. Instead of the host/wait? lady grabbing a Togo container to give the customer . She goes up to the cashier and starts telling him how impatient the lady was and why she couldnβt just relax.
After hearing that we kne what was in store and immediately left.
Both the pad Thai and the curry were delicious! My gf even got some boba on the way out and it was the best weβve ever had!
I ordered drunken noodles its a little bit bland but overall food is good.
It was hotish in there but the food was good
Had basics: pad thai and fried spring rolls. Was probably the worst Thai food I've ever had. Noodles and everything tasted burnt and had terrible flavor. Spring rolls were dripping in grease to the point I didn't even bother trying.
There was also maybe one or two other tables sat and the service was horrible. Sat for about 15 mins before even getting a drink. The rest of the time they sat at the front on their phones.
This was our first time here & so glad we gave it a try. The crab Rangoon is the best I EVER had fresh, hot & crispy! The egg rolls are good too definitely would order again. My husband ordered Beef Pad Wun Sen medium spice level which is perfect level of heat for him but way too hot for me We definitely will make this a regular spot the staff is very attentive & the restaurant is very clean. ππ»ππ»ππ»
Everything was hot and delicious
It wasn't that fantastic, a very basic take away place, although we dined in. The food wasn't that good, but the staff was pleasant and very friendly.
I usually do not write reviews of restaurants. But here it is important for the managers to know. So past week we had contacted Yum Thai for a graduation party and possibility of catering. We had about 70 guests and we had mentioned this to the managers, we selected the dishes--4 dishes, paid the whole amount a week earlier and checked back with them several times in between. The good thing was they delivered right on time that day of the party. Behaivior of everyone was very admirable. But the alert is the quantity of food. Knowing there will be 70 people two of the main dishes they basically made food not even for 45 people. There was so much shortage of food, that as hosts we felt absolutely embarassed. The thing to note here, we paid $150.00 dollar extra on top of the price of the dishes to add extra food (quantity wise). The food was yummy --everyone said that. But the restaurant should be KNOWLEDGABLE about what it means by catering. I do not think they even know how much food to serve a party. I am not sure if they have catered before. When asked on our first visit it seemed they know everything. In RED (chicken) CURRY dish my guests was looking for chicken pieces; when guests only got was the "soup" . The other dish was veggie delight and it was hardly to find Tofu in it--Though the restaurant promised that there will be enough [this dish was even prepared for 40 people, when we repeatedly said we will at least have 60+ people for the party, and paid $150 extra just for "extra quantity for each dish"]. We have hosted many such parties, and had caterings from variety of restaurants in town--but never faced this problem. This is uncalled for!! We are very unhappy about this. We will reconsider ever to order from them. I like this for the managers to note.
Thank you.
Absolutely delicious!! I have only had delivery (2x so far). Had Drunken Noodles both times and Panang Curry once. The Drunken Noodle is maybe the best Iβve ever had, and the Curry was just as good. Iβm going to have to head there to dine in sometime soon.
