This basic food cart offers Thai standards such as green curry & spicy basil stir-fry.
Delicious!! Quality and quantity are excellent. My son got the yellow curry with chicken and he loved it. I got the pineapple duck red curry and it was so good! We shared an order of salad rolls. They came with nuoc nam and peanut sauce. They had tofu in them and my son actually liked it. No food pics because we were stuffing our faces as soon as we got back to our car.
Update: visited again and this time got Pad Thai with tofu and took a pic. ππΌππΌ
Great food and super sweet staff. The area is also a really nice place to relax and enjoy a nice day. I love visiting bere I'm the summer it's a great food cart. The staff is very accommodating. Yellow curry and salad rolls are my go to. I love the pumpkin and the peanut sauce is very good!
Pad Thai chicken (medium spice), and 2 spring rolls shrimp. Fair price and more than fair serving size. Both plus tip came to about $20. Quite large spring rolls. Both items would easily feed 2 adults. Very impressed
Hello I am a cro_nisha, I live literally right around the corner. I come here to get the pineapple fried rice. OMG the best home cooked authentic taste I have ever tasted. Will be back !!!!!!!
Best Thai Food around. Consistently amazing and the customer service from the couple that owns and runs the carts is just fantastic. Super nice people that cook with love and you can taste it with every bite! Absolutely highly recommend. Plus they use real crab meat and not that nasty imitation crab!
I've been coming here for years and although the ownership just changed they're still really good! They are actually open on Sundays (even though Google says they're closed) and they offer a discount on Sundays if you pay in cash. Additionally, they gave out a Father's Day gift just for today! Super cool people and really good food!
Really love this place! Food is always 10/10 and staff is incredible!!
Delicious food, friendly people, always so nice and polite. 100% recommend this place! :)

you guys never flop with the food and whenever i get food here, you always serve. you guys are very demure, very polite and very cutesy. best food truck ever!
I got the yellow curry with chicken. It was delicious, and I got a huge portion. It was served really fast and hot. Couldnβt recommend this place enough. Try it out!
Not the Best Pad Thai Dish i ate not enough flavor

My fav's is the Chicken Pad Thai π I have them add green beans and broccoli. I also get the salad rolls with peanut sauce. Yuuuumy !!!
Big Portion$ at a Great Price.
Their red curry is INCREDIBLE!
After eating here +20 times, Iβve only had one time were food was βjust okβ. Consistently good, amazing staff & great prices. The yellow curry, egg rolls and shrimp fried rice are in constant rotation βΊοΈπ
Always hot, fresh and delicious! The new chicken egg rolls are yum!
They're fast too
Been coming here for years and I love everything on their menuπ―
Ordered chicken pad Thai. The flavor was ok. Someone mentioned a ketchup flavor and now thatβs all I taste. The actual Thai noodles are undercooked today. The peanuts were stale this time and hard. So with every bite canβt even chew the peanuts and not a good feeling. The chicken is cooked but has a raw chicken flavor taste and smell. Missing some sort of marinade. No seasoning on the chicken at all.
One of the best places to get Thai food and the price for what you get is awesome! My husband and I have been going since we were in high school and the consistency in food has been the same! The people are so nice too, 10/10 would recommend!!
Been here several times, trying different things each time and yet to be disappointed.

Great food, huge portions and very affordable
Wide selection of Thai dishes to choose from. Super fast prep and service from time of order. What's even better is their daily and weekly specials. They use seasonal or special ingredients that you can add to any of their standard dishes to dial it up to 11 out of 10 on the yummy meter!
Cleanliness was outrageously poor
I don't even understand what I paid money for, but it's not Thai food. The medium spicy pad thai tastes like it was sauced with ketchup, and the fresh spring rolls are super floppy and seriously seem to have a bagged salad mix stuffed inside. The peanut sauce tastes like just peanut butter + water, there's no fish sauce or oils in it, and tastes pretty elderly. The green curry is the surprising save here, it actually tastes like a green curry, medium spicy. Don't know what went wrong with the other two dishes. I'm honestly kind of speechless and horrified. Fast service, and cute outdoor food truck park.
Great portions and prices. Very fast. Enjoyed the mango curry!
This place has the best Thai food in Portland. THE. BEST! Try their curry. π€€
Salad rolls for under 6, no shrimp salad rolls only tofu.
Edit: They have shrimp ones now too.
Curries are mild to wild. Local fusion options like salmon/pumpkin curries depending on season.
Love the food! So delicious! Everything we ate was amazing, couldnβt be happier. We got pad Thai, pumpkin curry, and yellow curry - all great! Highly recommend! Sorry for the extra praise, itβs been a while since we were so happy with food :)
BEST THAI TEA!!
Salad rolls are always fresh/delicious.
There soups are good
Staff ROCKS.
Love this place so much! Itβs my favorite food cart in Portland. Iβve been coming for years. Loun always takes great care of my family when we come! She is so kind and joyful and a huge reason I love coming. The women are amazing chefs and the food is excellent, hot and fast! Highly recommend here for the best Thai food in Portland!
Great food cart that i enjoy frequently. Wonderful food. Quick and courteous service. Lots of options.
I love Thai food, I love trying new places, but you know what I do when it's raining, or I have had a long day, and i want some good hot food? I come here and grab a stir fry or maybe a curry. The specials menu is fun. Always really fresh salad rolls. They will make dishes as spicy as you want. I really appreciate all the amazing food you have made for me over the years!
Very nice people was running late for my pick up and the waited till after closing time and on top of that they gave me free rolls , foods amazing had it a long time ago and still the best pad Thai ever!
The pad kee mao is my favorite! comes with lots of vegetables and is the best Iβve had in Portland. Fast service as well.
Food is fresh & very tasty if you like Thai foodπ
Great Thai food. Fresh friendly and affordable. The mango curry is amazing.
Some days, all you need in life are some spring rolls and pad see ew. This lovely kitchen delivers!
Thanks for lunch, Thai Garden!
I've been going here for a few years so I guess that means it's my "go-to" place for Thai food. I love how coconutty their curry dishes are. When I try something on their specials menu, like the avocado yellow curry I'm eating now, I'm always pleasantly surprised. Everything on their menu is a winner. The employees have always been cheerful too, even on blazing hot days or dreary rainy days when most of the other carts are closed. Thai Garden is my happy place.
Ordered fried rice to go got home and opened it and it was pad Thai, something I really donβt like to eat. I think maybe they misheard me? Also the soda was flat even though it was canned
Just what I was craving! Tasty food and friendly staff, will be going back!
I always buy here my lunch and this time didnβt tip because well it adds up when you buy it everyday. They put half curry, like it was half empty. So I mentioned it. And they said this how they serve it. I told them itβs not true as Iβm a regular here. So petty bc I didnβt tip few dollars this time. Customer serves has always lacking here.
Well Iβll just buy my lunches now from food cart next to them, thereβs literally a Thai food cart right next to them. Keep it up so all of your regular customers will start buying from your competitors!
Great little gem of a Thai cart. I got the Thai Basil Fried Rice. Itβs my first time trying this dish so I have no frame of reference but it was good.
The Pad See Ew was okay but not great. It was spicy but not too flavorful. There were only a few bits of vegetables, I was hoping for a better balance of noodle to vegi and a lot more flavor. Nice spot with nice people and pretty good food.
They are bad about listening to instructions. I've ordered food without onion twice there and had them mess it up. The second time when I said something to her and pointed to the onion in the dish she just said sorry. didn't even offer a free drink. Onion causes me some serious digestion issues and it's pretty hard to spot in a dish full of other vegetables and noodles. I don't think I'll be going back.
Best Thai for the buck. On the east side. I205 trips almost always have them in my crews mind..my. Mind and or my kids mind.
This place has consistently great Thai food, yummy curries and soups, nice big portions and quick too. A gem in outer SE
Best Pad Thai I've had in Portland, and I've tried alot of places!
This place slaps - pad Thai and Tom kha all day π₯
Sweet and friendly staff, delicious fresh hot stir fry with generous portions for an extremely affordable price! Hand down one of my favorite food carts in Portland highly recommend! :)
Made of pure heart and truly masters of the craft. These ladies get it done
Ahmazing
Great Thai food. The spicyness is sometimes inconsistent when we order.
We like everything about Thai Garden: it's authentic, fresh, delicious and affordable. Also very quick. We call in & it's ready in 10 minutes.
Pumpkin curry ,yum. Been going here for years . They whip up some healthy food.
I've gotten food from here several times and always been pleased. I often get some of my favorite Thai dishes, including Tom Kha (coconut soup) and Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles), here. Everything has been delicious!
In addition, they are always super friendly and helpful. When I call my order in, it's ready in around 10 minutes. It's walking distance from Mall 205. Give this place a try!
I love this place. It quickly became a favourite of mine. Great taste, prices and portions.
I think they add too much potatoes to the curry though.
Foods were delicious and fresh. Definitely will recommend to my friends and families.
I work in the area, my entire staff are regulars, and I've got Thai Garden on my quick-dial favorites list. Probably the best Yellow Curry I've had, but everything on the menu is stellar (amazing Pad See Ew is my second fav). Great value with big portions; super-fast service; friendly.
If you're a fan of Thai food, you must at least try Thai Garden - 99 to 1 you'll be back for more...
Great food! It's nice to support small business. $9 for a dinner is awesome! Nice portion size for leftovers!
Love these guys! So nice and great food, great prices as well
For the price you canβt beat it. The curry is some of the best in Portland, and Iβve gone almost everywhere. Noodles are ok. Salad rolls are big and they donβt skimp on the peanut sauce. Honestly this place is easily in my top 5 Thai restaurants in all of Oregon.
Best bang for your buck in Portland
Tried this Thai truck because we were hanging out at the DMV. Unfortunately the reviews were not accurate for us. The Thai iced tea was bright orange and had an odd flavor, pad kee mao was generous in serving but lacked flavor and absolutely no spice (great if you can't do spice). The only hot sauce option was a red paste, no chili in oil or chopped Thai chilies. Hot noodles were served in thin plastic clamshell. Folks were very friendly. Not the spot if you are looking for great tasting Thai food but if you are hungry, this will definitely meet that need!
If youβre a fan of salad rolls, this is a fantastic place! We also love the Red Curry dish. Pad Thai is a little too sweet for our taste. Huge portions at little cost. Great fast stop for reliably good Thai food! Love them!!!
This place is delicious. I really like their fried rice and I get chicken and shrimp together. The egg rolls are delicious. The sign says you get four but they've always given me more. They're always perfectly fried and clean tasting.
My favorite place for curry and salad rolls. Great Everytime. I get the pumpkin curry with tofu! YUM!
Update: visited again and this time got Pad Thai with tofu and took a pic. ππΌππΌ
Spicy basil was soooo good extra spicy!!
Great customer service and the delectable food comes in generous portions. The crab fried rice is superb. The Spicier the better in my opinion but they do not over do it. If you want it burning hot indicate so directly. They want to make sure its not to hot for you. The thai tea and coffee is a1. Love you guys(=
Truly the best fast food Thai in Portland . You won't find a better value in the Portland metro area . Their noodles are authentic and their Curry and stir fry dishes are truly amazing . Their salad rolls are also very popular
Decent food. Decent prices.
Guys, this place is absolutely amazing!! I love their food and I love how sweet and generous they are!! Please check them out for some incredible thai food ππ
Yummy!
This curry never disappoints. It's my go-to for cold, rainy days even though I live miles away now.
Asked for vegan fried rice, was phenomenal in every way.
Let me start by saying that I am always eager to try a new Thai food place. I was exited to try this place as it is close to my home. I ordered the Thai fried race and pad thai. Overall the food was just OK. I was a bit disappointed in the fact that the food is SUPER OILY--I mean the fried rice and pad thai were swimming in oil. There wasnβt much spice to the food. I really wanted to like this place more.
Great flavors
On last Saturday night right before Thai Garden close I asked if I can get 14 orders And she said yes it was fast and delicious.
I am definitely going back more often.
Great place! Good food for a good price.
We eat here often and are never disappointed in the food or portions..
The spicy basil stir-fry is always my go to and has never failed. The staff are very kind and quick.
Best Thai around. The service is good and quick and the prices are unbeatable
Every single bite is perfection! I was surprised for only $8 how much food I got. Was craving pad thai & peanut sauce β saw the reviews for the salad rolls, so I tried them too. Worth coming back for another visit. Everything I ordered was SO GOOD!
Always good.
My family loves this place!
Great food!
Best Thai food we've found in Portland.
I think this place uses MSG in their food because I got a headache both days I ate the chicken pad Thai.
Great food. The only thing preventing a higher rating is their tendency to close early. Some days it's 7pm, some 8pm, some days it's before 630pm. You pretty much always have to call ahead. They need to update their hours.
Thai garden is the best. They could get every item wrong on my order and it wouldn't matter cause everything on their menu is delicious.
These wonderful people have been feeding me for probably a good three years for my work lunch. Best salad rolls in the whole entire city of Portland, that's based on sampling over like 18 years in Portland. Such good food. Amazing portions. Really fair prices.
Great food my favorite thai food
Great garlic spicy chicken!
Hand down, one of the best Thai food carts you can find in Portland!
Consistently great quality. I usually get salad rolls, red curry, but have also had stir fries. All super tasty.
Burned my pad see eww and charged me $2 extra for pork and didnβt give me much meat either...pork is cheap why upcharge?
I love the massaman curry!
If you want good, fresh authentic Thai food, this is the place! I have been coming here for many years.
They have THE BEST pad thai around! I drive 18 miles, all the way from Washougal, WA just to eat here... it's that good! Their salad rolls are very good, and their peanut sauce is the best! Try all the curries too, my favorites are yellow, pumpkin, and avocado.
They do get pretty busy at lunch
There food was horrible. I have eaten here for years. But everything I ordered had broccoli, carrots and big slices of onions. I ordered Red Curry, fried rice and Tom Kai soup. There was no Bamboo shoots in the curry. I was married to a Thai so I know what Thai food is suppose to taste like. And this was the worst Thai food I have ever Haden went on Sunday April 26,2020
Best Pad Thai in PDX, hands down. Huge servings.
Amazing !!!
I got the yellow curry it was very flaverful
-drools just thinking about it- simply put? Awesome sauce
Go out of my way to make it here, for good reason.
The food is never a disappointment. Above average Pad Thai and curries. Prices are a little high for food cart but commensurate with the quality.
I'm about 50% on being able to call in orders, but don't mind standing around while they prep the food.
The pad thai is AMAZING
My favorite food cart in all of Portland!
amazing quality and portions for a great price.. fav Thai food in portland!
I miss the cheaper prices and larger portions. Still the best in town though.
Great food
Good prices good food, love the pad kee mao! Ask for less veggies you donβt like if you want even more noodles and meat
Addictive; so good
Been going for a very long time food, people and service is always great
Best Tai food I have ever had. Used to eat here all the time before moving to SF. Whenever I'm in the Portland area this is where I come for great Tai food. Prices are also unbeatable. Don't miss this Portland Gem.
Sickeningly sweet.
Best Pad Kee Mao.
Best Salad Roll and Peanut Sauce.
Fast, cheap, nice service.
Usually pretty good not authentic by any means but some good tasting food
yummy ! ΰΈΰΈ£ΰΉΰΈΰΈ’ΰΈΰΉΰΈ°
I love the green curry....well balanced and fresh. Best in town. Customer service is always great. Keep up the good work guys!
Food wasn't great.
Been coming here for years! By far, the best food and the ladies are awesome!
I really wanted to like this place but was terribly disappointed. This review is based on one experience and one item but Pad Thai is so basic that it is a good measure. Pad Thai- mushy noodles and beansprouts in a sea of unpleasant goop, with pieces of bland chewy boiled chicken. Fairly unfriendly as well. No smile or eye contact- just a curt "eight dollar".
Worst pad Thai Ive ever eaten. I bought two extra cups of sauce and it didn't help. Tasted like ketchup.
Awesome for cart thai. Woukd rate 5 stars if they had a larger protein serving in the dishes.
Parking is VERY tricky. If your not the best with your vehicles dimensions or have a really big truck, be prepared for a little stress in this tiny tiny lot.
It was tasty. The chicken seemed to be cooked in a good manner and the serving size was large. The dish was good enough on it's own even before adding any sauces
Great prices on large portions. The chicken pad thai was tasty .
The pad Thai was a soggy mess, oversauced and bland. Generally I don't have a high bar for stuff like this but I couldn't even finish it and it was laborious eat what I did.
Great crab rice
BEST THAI FOOD IN ALL PORTLAND, try anything on their menu and you will agree, then find yourself back for more time and time again.
The best thai food!!!!
I'm so happy I live 2 blocks from this food truck! I love their pumpkin curry. Plenty of vegetables and meat, and great flavor and spice. It only takes them a few minutes to make your order, or you can call your order in and have it ready to pick up. Always friendly, too.
That was surprising. I walked out of my $50 motel down a couple sketchy roads and realized I wanted to get lunch before I kicked off my day in town proper. I stumbled onto a small conglomeration of food trucks in a chain linked block. I decided I would give one a shot.
I went to the counter and noticed a menu item that looked quite tasty by its description and asked the lady for it. Of course I butchered the pronounciation as a white guy eho's never left the west coast of the US, but she corrected me which I appreciated.
In literally 2 minutes only, the food was out and steaming. I opened and dug in.
Literally no part of the meal was not extremely enjoyable. The vegetables and the tofu were perfectly charred, the flat noodles (I forget the name) were sweet, spicy, and firmed how I like. The meal was hot but not searing. Everything was amazing.
I never would've expected to stumble onto one of the best restaurants i've ever ordered from this morning, but I have to say I was happily surprised by this inconspicuous little truck. Highly recommended.
It was good
Nice place
Fast service, generous portions, and good price. My wife and I can easily split one order and be filled up, for only $8.
Legit spot. Quality food, affordable prices. Call in your order for no wait. 2 entrees and spring rolls $20? Done.
Got the pineapple fried rice with chicken. It's great and there is enough for two meals, so $8 made it a good value.
I have gone to this cart for 9 years and I will never stop loving it.
