Had a good dining experience here. In the appetizer, the curry puffs were really good. The hot n sour soup was not that great. The green curry was also not good. However, the pad thai was good, and we really liked it. The chicken tenders and fries were also crispy and tasted good. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are a bit on the higher side, considering the taste and portion size of some of the dishes. But will definitely visit again to try out some other items that caught our eye.
Tiger cried entrees are typically pricey at Thai locations. I’ve had my preference on dining in locations. Although to say the least this is what I couldn’t eat from the entree itself. The steak had 0 to no condiments. I dipped the steak in the sauce and it tasted as if the sauce was just fish sauce with sesame seeds. Definitely not what I expected as I’ve ordered this entree multiple times. Anyways the service was not good at all , they took my order and delivered my food but then the server went back to gossip with co-workers , not once did she stare back so I can ask for at least salt during the 30 minutes I was waiting. I also don’t like to stand up and go up to the server as it seems a bit rude. Experience 2/10.
Good food, very delicious. I got the Pad Kee Mao with chicken, can recommend for it was very good, chicken was well cooked, could have been a little more tender. Sauce was delightful. Vegetarian options available, though I didn't try them. Space is decorated well, has a unique sense of place, very demure. Service is great, refilled my water a lot, much appreciated.
Has the quality of this place gone really down ? Have dined in a lot of times before and also ordered take out . Our recent experience was really not that good . Weekday night dinner and we were asked to first switch tables, which is okay . Then we order all the food together and they did a good job of bringing one by one . The wine glass for $10 is totally not worth it, it was not even quarter glass and it was not even that expensive wine and I felt this is the smallest glass of wine we have ever ordered . Next comes the chicken satay which is okay and nothing great but usually they add cucumbers to the sweet sauce and this time there was only onions..bummer. The worst was the basil fried rice. Totally lacking flavor and was Panda Express kind of fast food quality and cannot even compare to the fried rice at other Thai places nearby . And $16 for that fried rice is totally not justifiable . Finally.. the mango sticky rice . With the mango season in full bloom I was expecting a mango on the sweeter side and this one was sour and they just left some rice on the side which is not the quantity we get in other restaurants for the price point . The waitresses kept putting the food on the other end of the table and we had to get it to our side every time and it was not really a great experience . Might end up ordering the curries for takeout but probably never dining in again . Better off going to Thai restaurants which give quality food for the same price and a better experience . Hope they improve this in the future as this used to be one of my favorites before .
yellow curry must try
This place was really good until a few months ago. Recently the staff and chefs have changed and the place has gone really downhill. We asked for a Thai Iced Tea with less ice. And they literally filled the glass with extra ice, as if they are taking revenge for us asking. The pineapple fried rice was dry, stale and tasted weird. The cleaning lady left the cart with dirty dishes, literally few inches from us and went to go do some other work.
Great place to go for some more exotic dishes! Portions were very generous! Had lots to take home!
What a great restaurant. The Penang chicken was phenomenal. The basil fried rice was excellent. I can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu.
A great place to get to go food. Clean and nice employees.

Wonderful food & great service!!

Thai spice is my favorite restaurant. I was very excited to see they have a sister restaurant and just check this out. The food is just as amazing. I am vegetarian and they have a lot of options. My favs are: vegetable tempura maki roll, original fried rice with tofu, and hot saki!
Delicious food. Love the spring rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce, the Tom Kha soup. And all the dishes and curries are so yummy. I have brought people here. I’ve been going to Thai Spice in Lakeway for years (same owner and food). I hear that there is a new one- Barnyen in Pflugerville (same owner and food).
First time and not the last! The food was excellent- that hot and sour soup... damn.
I ordered the spring roll and garlic shrimp. The vegetables in garlic shrimp had no sauce and didn’t taste good. I was sick after eating the food. I threw up and was sick all night.
The quantity of the dishes is reduced to half and very pricey. $16 average for one item. Not worth the price. I would recommend Thai cuisine on west Parmer. You cannot reduce the food quantity.
However the food was delicious and ambience was great and hence 2 stars.
What a good find in the Lakeway area. The service is so fast and the food was solid. Lots of parking, easy access and not crowded. A nice alternative to traditional fast food.
Its cool place for family , kids enjoyed the authentic flavor of thai .... 🥰
Catered from here. Soft spring rolls were amazing. They were able to customize food to meet our dietary needs- Vegetarian, no fish and oyster sauce. Some without onion and Garlic. Good service
This place never fails my taste buds for either a quick night out or take-out meal. My favorite choices.

This is a regular stop and takeout place that we ordinarily look forward to.
Then we ordered the Alaska roll, which is meant to be salmon, tuna, and cream cheese.
What we got was cream cheese with some cream cheese and finally some cream cheese. You couldn't eat it unless you just go in for cream cheese by the spoonful.
A shame as they've historically been better but we will think twice at least before getting sushi here again.
The purple rice pudding slaps though!

Amazing food and great service. There's also a nice outside dining area.
If you’re looking for a Thai spot with a spicy twist, this place is worth a visit! The food was good overall, though the green curry, labeled as spicy, wasn’t quite as fiery as we expected—something to keep in mind if you love bold heat. The atmosphere is super calming, and the customer service was excellent, making the experience pleasant. The spicy edamame—absolutely delicious! Clear labels for vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options, making it accessible to everyone.
This is a very tasty place. Every dish has something that will rock your world!
Food is always delicious and presentable. I typically get some version of one of the curries. Be careful of the spice levels, as some of them can creep up on you.
The staff are always nice and welcoming, and the tables and area are clean. I can count on consistent quality service whenever I come. Definitely worth a try!
Tom yum soup was not it. Spring rolls were good
Excellent! Very good Tom Kha, Pad Thai, and Som tam. We'll definitely be back.
I paid $7 for small tom yum soup with chicken. It was broth, a ton of mushrooms, and chicken. The flavor was good but needed more veggies! Disappointing for $7.
Food is just okay but staff is so extremely rude. They act like they are angry that you are eating there and sprint away from the table if you ask for anything. Definitely will not be back.
I was fortunate enough to stay close to the Green Mango Thai restaurant. I love curry and the Tom Kha coconut soup, so I sampled several of those entrées for my entire stay. I can say the waitresses are very attentive, and expedient to serve, food was hot and delicious! The curry dishes were fantastic and they tailor the spice according to your liking. I thought it was very authentic flavors since I’ve been to Thailand a couple of times. Very fresh and tasty!
Me and a friend went here recently. He ate all of his food which was the red curry with beef. I had the red curry with fried rice and shrimp.
I love spicy food so that wasn't a problem, however, the over all flavor was okay. I ate most of it but didn't desire the rest.
It wasn't expensive given the area and few people were present. I would go back to try different meals which is a good thing because it could have been just that dish.
Pad Thai was absolutely yummy 😋 can't wait to try the other items.
Authentic Thai taste. The quantity was good and the service was fast. Nice neat place to find a quiet, fast seating
The Thai food here is excellent, and it's owned by the same people that run Thai Spice in Lakeway, therefore, a lot of similarities on the menu. I'm just bummed that they never brought back the salad bar after Covid.
Pad Kee Mao was superb and a must if you love noodles . Green curry rice were also good but try it only if you are ok with the spices . Massaman curry was ok . Tom Kha soup was very nice as well .
Lots of Vegetarian options and food is great, specially red curry and pineapple fried rice.
Excellent food and service. I'll be back.
Lots of vegetarian options with good ambience
One of my favorite restaurants in Austin and I’ve never been disappointed. Everything tastes fresh and delicious.
Very tasty and large portions! Staff was excellent as well!
Fantastic if you love Thai. Green curry and penang slow cooked beef
The food was amazing here. Loved the atmosphere. I wish they brought the buffet back. Why not. :)
I have been to Green Mango a few times in the past for Thai dishes but I don’t think I will return again. I am now on my second day of suffering from food poisoning.
Thursday night I ordered three sushi rolls and miso soup from Green Mango via Uber Eats.
Big mistake.
I first noticed the rolls were not well formed and fell apart easily, but didn’t mind that as long as the taste was ok. But after eating about half of a roll, I noticed the texture and taste were off. When I looked closely I saw obviously rotten avocados in all the rolls that contained avocado. The fish and rest of the ingredients didn’t look or taste fresh either. Even though I stopped eating when I found out, it was too late.
I am very concerned with the lack of care to food safety. It is hard to give a benefit of the doubt when you can see the avocados used were clearly off-color and have slimy texture. It is worth noting that Uber Eats was not at fault with this transaction and it was delivered in a timely manner. I hope the management will correct this and take food safety seriously. As of now, I do not recommend eating sushi here.
It is will wilchair acfestival. Friendly atmosphere food was awesome.
My family orders take out from GM every few weeks and it is consistently great! It’s always fresh and hot. They lean spicy, so if you are a mild person, make sure to notate it in your order.
My family has ordered Green Mango for a few years now and it’s always great. However this last time I ordered through door dash and the sauce for the pad Thai was completely different and so spicy it was difficult to eat, we had to throw it out. I was super disappointed since they are usually reliable. I tried to call but there is no working phone number. I am hoping they see this review and can let me know if this is the new recipe so I know to steer clear of ordering this dish in the future.

Me and my sister's go-to for a night out! Delicious and large rolls (the seaweed salad is incredible), mouthwatering Thai tea, perfectly crafted mango sticky rice, and flavorful curries! The sushi bar does open after 4 pm, so if you're visiting for fish, come in the evening! Also, the food does take some time to arrive, but I believe they are perfecting each detail.
Over priced! 17$ Tom kha soup to-go order did not even full 2 small bowls. Taste is fine but not something I would pay 17$ again for that quantity.
Good food. Service needs improvement.
Very, very good!
We went here on a Saturday night and the place had plenty of seating available.
We had the cheese rolls, green curry and Pad Ke Mao.
The cheese rolls were good and the dipping sauce was excellent.
The green curry despite asking for medium was spicy. We loved that it was spicy and we were glad we didn’t ask for it to be spicy to begin with.
Pad ke mao was good and had a nice Smokey flavor to it.
We felt the food was good but was pricey for the portion sizes.
One of the best Thai food in Austin!!
Yall. Omg. 10/10 I’ll try to make this short but I want to be sure I give them their props. First time in Austin, first time here, and it was super yummy. Edamame was perfect. Not too hard, not too mushy soft. Thai tea was perfection. I took a risk by spending money in an establishment that I’ve never been in before. And we all know how that is. These days food quality and taste is a hit or miss. I was definitely impressed.
My wife and I love this place. The food and service are both excellent! Highly recommended
Clean established place. Offers halal chicken. The Thai ice tea is incredible. Would recommend for sure. However, dishes were not that good. The chicken dumplings are very small in size. The pad Thai was a bit too sticky and the shrimp did not blend with it. Will try again in the future but was just a very OK experience.
Updated review Feb 2024 as I came back.
Improved from 3 starts to 4 stars. Enjoyed the wonton soup. Broth is really good although the wonton was a little too chewy. I also enjoyed the sesame chicken. It was not too sweet which made me appreciate it. Both the pad Thai and green curry were good.
Best Thai food in Central Texas!
Great place for lunch, has a playground for kids
Great food. Had a lovely chicken masaman.
I’m so thankful to have such a solid restaurant option in an area that is otherwise lacking in options. The food here is always prepared well and I’ve found it to be very consistent.
My favorite Thai place in the area, it is our go to for Thai restaurant for delivery. The green curry is excellent and I especially love the the Carrot Pad Thai dish and Butternut Squash Pad Kee Mow.
The food was great (miso soup, fried rice and shrimp). The service not so.
We ordered through Doordash.
I'd say this was a good experience. All the food was packaged orderly and tight where nothing was overspilling so kudos to that. I even ordered a thai coffee that came wrapped shut tight with plastic wrap so it wouldn't spill.
I ordered Pad Kee Mao and Soft Spring Rolls and both was absolutely delicious. No cons about it. I would reccommend this place.
BBQ fried rice was great. Pad Thai pork was good. The teriyaki chicken was very dry. Two out of three.
Yummy cashew chicken, green tea!
We have been there twice since relocating to the area less than a month ago. Both times we tried different dishes and both times they were delicious. Very good flavors and great portions. Will continue going frequently
Love this place! Always find myself coming back. House hold favorite!
Green curry was tasty but very spicy, even at mild! Large portion to go.
Chicken dumplings looked sad but were extremely good. I hope they start serving larger portions on the dumplings!
Fried veggie egg rolls were alright.
Glass noodles dish was slightly smoky and we liked it.
I’d love to try the Massaman curry next time!
This is a hidden gem in Four Points and very delicious! We love their noodles, soups, sushi and apps. Thai coffee here is also 10/10. The only complaint is the food can be inconsistent - size, flavor ratios, etc. We found that Friday and Saturday nights are best here, when we’ve gone on Sundays the food isn’t quite as good and much smaller portions.
We ordered through Uber Eats on several nights while visiting Austin this week and all orders have been so on point. Full flavor, spice level available from mild to a true Thai spicy. All delicious!
If you’re looking for a great GF alternative, try the butternut squash drunken noodles and carrot Pad Thai under the “Healthy Menu” - so good!
Nice place that serves authentic Thai cuisines. Has #halal chicken options. We tried the chicken cashewnut , nuggets, dumplings and pad thai. Everything was served hot and looked great. Pad thai was lacking in taste and the chicken cashew has pineapple which I wasn't expecting. But all in all it was a good experience. The staff was courteous and the food was served quick. They have a nice patio if you prefer to dine outside.
I’m not really a fan of Thai food, but they make some great grub here, and some of it mild enough to eat without it eating you.
We had a pathetic experience. Chicken satay was raw and uncooked and I have ordered a Garlic tofu which has a piece of shrimp tail. Above all, they were not apologetic also.
Restaurant served raw chicken satay. My vegetarian friend found shrimp tail in a tofu dish. The staff was unapologetic and didn't seem to care much about it.
Ordered through ubereats and restaurants did not send me the main dish. When I called lady was unhelpful and blamed ubereats. I frequent this place a lot but won't in the future. This why clients leave
Over priced! $17 for chicken and vegetables and the amount of chicken is very little but overloaded with cabbage. They tried to add 20% tip to the togo order but I removed it. I'll gladly tip at least 20% when I sit down and receive good service. Not for a togo order when they clearly have nice margins built into the menu. The fact it's even suggested on togo orders is offending.
Terrific thai food , good taste, just a good place to eat
One of the really nice Thai place in town, definitely recommend if you like Thai food. Amazing potato setup.
Best thai I’ve had in austin
Never had Thai food before this place, the pad Thai was to die for! So good!
Great food. nice staff and a favorite place to go for the wife and I. Portion sizes are big, so bring an appetite.
Great combination of Japanese and Thai food. Reasonably priced. My goto place for Thai food.
Thai Spice Sushi offers a delightful dining experience with their excellent food, drinks, and desserts. The food is exceptional, with a wide variety of sushi options that are fresh and flavorful. The desserts are also worth mentioning, as they are delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, Thai Spice Sushi is a fantastic choice for those seeking a memorable dining experience with great food, drinks, and desserts. I highly recommend.
Good quality food & healthy.
Love Thai food, atmosphere at this restaurant is great.
But looks like this days tipping has become too high.
on my recent trip the restaurant added a 20% service charge for five people.
I thought large party is 6-person or more. and 20% tip is very high.
I hope management take a notice of this
Love this place. Always better than expected
This is my favorite thai restaurant in Austin. Every single dish here is super good. You can tell them how much spice you want (mild, medium, hot, extra hot). Don’t underestimate their sushi. They’re 10/10!! Server’s are very friendly. Sticky mango rice is the best dessert here on my opinion. I love coming here with my whole family.
Quick customer service, amazing food and nice ambience!
A good Thai place for the family to dine in. The food was really tasty, spicy, and delicious overall. We ordered the Basil fried rice with chicken, green curry fried rice with chicken n shrimp, tiger cried, and lastly mango sticky rice. All the items were really delicious.
My 1st time having Thai food and anything curry. We all were very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be back
Great prices, prompt service, even better food! Will go back and lunch specials are on point!!!
I came here 2 days in a row. The first day had the bbq pork fried rice with vegetable 🍲 and that was pretty good. The second day, I ordered the beef massaman curry with 🥥 rice, and if you like curry, you definitely need to try this on. I'm definitely coming back when I'm in the area again.
Comfortable atmosphere, Food was delicious and great bar and service
Food is good.
Portions are quite small.
Service and attitude is quite poor. Not very welcoming.
We both had curry. Very tasty. My green curry maybe could use some I think Thai basil but flavor good. Wife had yellow curry shrimp and she liked it.
Wrost experience with the staff miss leading customers about there menu
I recently dined at Green Mango and tried their spicy kani roll sushi, basil fried rice, and pad thai noodles. Spicy Kani Roll Sushi had Well-balanced flavors with light spiciness of mayo sauce added nice kick, visually appealing presentation
Highly recommended.
Basil chicken Fried Rice was with generous portion, deliciously satisfying.
Pad Thai Noodles, a Classic Thai dish perfectly cooked. Tried Thai tea crepe cake for dessert.. loved the layers!
Overall, a delightful dining experience with great flavors, visually appealing dishes, generous portions, attentive service, and pleasant ambiance. Highly recommended for Asian cuisine lovers.
Simply delicious!! They adjust to your preferred level of heat.
Excellent value for lunch!
I had the yellow curry with chicken and a side of the veggie soup. Everything here was delicious! I would definitely recommend trying this place if you're in the area and in the mood for some good Thai food.
Amazing food. Ordered the duck red curry, it was magnificent. Basil friend rice, slow cooked Beef Panang curry and Vegetable spring rolls were excellent as well. The spicy fried salt and pepper shrimp need a little bit more salt.
I usually order take out and had been coming back about once a month. The food is very good and the portions are as expected. When order pickup it's usually for 1 meal and I add a 20% tip. But recently I ordered 3 takeout meals and had a friend pick them up. The total bill seemed a bit high and on review realized that they automatically added 20% tip to the total. That tip amount was almost the cost for an additional dinner. I won't be going there there again.
The pictures did not make it because everything was so delicious 💜
Sat at the front for 10 minutes after calling for 5 with no answer. Waitress walked by me 7 times and never even acknowledged my presence. F you guys
This is a great place, food is really amazing and service is great. Recommend the hot and sour soup, the pad Thai, the papaya salad, the slow cooked beef in curry is great. We love this place. My kids love it, there's a kid menu for the little ones that rather stay with a more traditional meal like chicken tenders with fries, and that makes it possible for us to go there, so everyone have something they like. There's also an outdoor playground they love.
This place is way over priced. The cauliflower rice was $21!!! However, the food and atmosphere are great. If the prices were lower it would be a 4 to 4.5 star for me
Nice place, great food and pleasant atmosphere. Good vegetarian options!
Pad Thai not good, spicy tuna roll ok
Great food. Have been going for years. Food is a tad pricey but it is delicious.
amazing. Just visit this place. Pad Thai, pad see ew, Thai tea, meat egg rolls, Eve th thing is just really tasty, fresh, big portions, good price, etc.
Food was amazing... vegetarian options are good too . Definitely recommend this place
Servers are extremely rude and to top that; they add a20% gratuity without prior information and consent 🤦🏽♂️
Had the green curry medium heat with beef, best curry I have had in Austin!
We ate family style and had three of the best Thai entrees I've ever had. That ice tea was stellar too.
Simply amazing. Very Authentic tasting, best thai ive had in Austin by a long shot. Fantastic service and clean new restaurant. I highly recommended eating here if you like thai or asian food
love the veggie egg rolls and Basil fried rice!
No flavor, just soy sauce
I got some panang curry takeout and it was good! I think had I eaten there I would have gotten a bit more rice and maybe less "juice" and more "stuff" in my container, but maybe they just wanted it to look full. I ate the rice and the "stuff" for one meal, then made more rice later and mixed in the rest of the juice for a side dish for a later meal.
Was so excited to try this place and was NOT disappointed ! Some of the best Thai we’ve had! Very authentic, simple menu, kind friendly and quick service. This is our new fav spot!!! Lunch menu was plentiful for the price! Lime in water was delicious!
3 of us went for a weeknight dinner and none of us was really impressed by the food. Service was ok but very impersonal. Overall a rather underwhelming experience. We’ll not go back.
Lots of options, great attention - tasty food
Great food (fresh), variety (for wide range appetites)and pleasant price point.
Great spot with traditional (...well, at least US traditional) Thai dishes. Plus a unique way of serving Thai Tea. We first ate here in October 2018, and throughout the pandemic, we ordered through Uber Eats at least once or twice a month. Still one of our family's favorite local spots..
Poor service, rude attitude, and taste nothing
Pad Thai was amazing!!
Spur of the moment visit on the way home from a Vandergrift football game. ambiance on the patio was really nice. Enjoyed the food and sangria was also good. We ordered the slow cooked beef curry and the chicken Massimo. Rated 3 stars as service was really slow. Staff were nice and pleasant just the initial ordering took a while. However I would visit again.
Great food. Thai beef salad was delicious.
Very expensive and small portions
Also took 20% gratuity for a family of 6with kids. Ridiculous
