Charming corner eatery serving Thai noodle dishes & small plates plus rice porridge on weekends.
The food was amazing, rich in favor with the perfect spice to it. Staff was very attentive and informative in the menu selection. I would definitely recommend coming here! Khao Kha Moo was amazing!!!! Tom Yum Noodle soup was cooked to perfection and the Crab Rangoons were addicting!!
When I got tired of hanging out with friends in Williamsburg, I said I'd pick a place to eat. I met this corner diner! Don't try don't know, this Thai food is really Mrs. Too authentic! It's so delicious! I ordered the Kra paw!
The nine-story tower! But I don't want minced pork! I used to eat it in Chiang Mai at the time, fried pork belly with skin, which is pronounced like in Thai
"kra paw mu guo"? Do not know if it is right, but want to be the same as me (Figure 9) on this point! It's really delicious! That's a lot!
It's only $13! I also ordered a bowl of rice (please call me a rice bucket). And more! Spiciness is what I like! Very Thai! Didn't change the spiciness at all to suit people here! Like (
• A friend of a vegan ordered a Bamee mockduck (Photo 10), which has a green face! She said it was delicious! And bring friends! Another friend ordered duck noodles (FIG. 11) and forgot the name! There's a lot of duck, too! It is very cost-effective!
The restaurant brother told us that this outside seat was only opened last month, and before that it was only for business! But I have to say, it's delicious! Not as comfortable as you, of course, but! Ten bucks and you don't need a bike! So sisters, like to eat Thai food Chong! I guess the others I haven't tried must be good too! Come again next time!
Hands down, the BEST Thai food I’ve had in NYC. Don’t expect fancy decor—it’s a small, humble place, but the food is what shines here. The Panang Curry was creamy, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. My partner got the drunken noodles (Pad Kee Mao), and we couldn’t stop eating off each other’s plates.
Absolutely incredible food! If you’re a fan of spice, ask for “Thai spicy”—they’re not shy with the heat! I tried the Larb Gai (spicy minced chicken salad), and it was tangy, bold, and refreshing. The owners are so sweet; they checked on us and even gave us extra cilantro for the table when we asked.
By far the best Thai food in Williamsburg and the prices are super fair. Embarrassingly eat here way too often cause it’s so good. The lunch combo is also a great option, it comes with food, spring rolls, and a drink (get the Thai tea!!)
The place is good for taking photos which makes it hot on social media. But the taste is not so good. Generally it is too sweet for the noodles which makes it taste weird. And the environment is not so clean, I have seen some flies dropping into the water bottle. Only the pork dumplings are good to try. Overall, I don’t recommend dining in it for the environment.
A hidden spot that deserves more love! The Som Tum (green papaya salad) tasted just like what I had in Chiang Mai. Super fresh, spicy, and authentic. Prices are reasonable too, which is great for the quality you’re getting. Only downside is that seating can be limited, so come early!
The chicken buns are amazing. The crispy churchy chicken with a hint of spicy mayo HIT!!!
So consistently amazing. This is my go to place for curry. 5/5 best you can get in Williamsburg!
The food was very tasty! The atmosphere isn't great and it was freezing inside. I would come back for the food!

A little slice of Thailand right here in Brooklyn. This family-run spot serves seriously authentic dishes. The Khao Soi (Northern Thai curry noodles) was rich, flavorful, and came with crispy noodles on top. A bit spicy, but in the best way possible.

food was great and huge portion sizes!
Great food. Tastes great. We dined in and it was out quick.

Noods and Chill is a convenient spot for Thai food in the neighborhood. I’ve ordered from them a lot, but the quality of the food can vary. Most of the dishes I’ve tried are pretty good, but sometimes they’re not. I usually order Pad See Ew, Massaman Curry, or Pad Thai. I’ve recently started going to a new place called Am Thai that’s a bit more authentic.
One of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I can recommend the basil fried rice and the green curry.
I was reccomended by couple of friends who lived in the area. Delicious food and good music. I like their spicy Tom Yum noodles. Takes me back to street of Bangkok. I will return.
Lovely place😍
Best!
Thai food is good here, but not anything too special. I do enjoy their pork belly pad Thai here a lot! It is a little pricey compared to other Thai in the area. This is definitely a more casual vibe as well—they have some indoor seating and more outdoor seating. Good place to swing by if you’re in the area.
people were nice and food came put ridiculously fast, but i just didn’t really like any of it 🤷♀️ tofu texture was dry/not bouncy, the flavors were a little bland. sticky rice was good.

Ordered the pad see ew. It was so salty it was inedible. I feel sick now and am unable to get the taste out of my mouth. It was so bad it almost felt like it was a prank? Never again!
I really want to love this place since the food tastes genuinely authentic. Unfortunately, I ended up with the worst food poisoning I've ever had. It seems like they have some serious hygiene issues.. definitely wouldn't risk going back again.
Edit: In response to the owner's comment, I ordered the Numtok Noodle Soup for dine in.
This is 10/10 the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The pad see ew is out of this world!
Get the larb moo!
Ordered pad see ew w chicken.. this is the most saltiest dish i have ever eaten from thai selection. My tongue is numb and my 7 year old is complaining how salty it is. Idk about other dishes but do not order pad see ew its just so bad.
Sat outside with 2 friends on a Saturday around 4pm- food was SO good. We got Pad Kee Mao with extra veg & crispy tofu, Fish buns, Basil fried rice with shrimp & a dish with fried snapper over thai herbs, cashews and a fresh tangy sauce. Servings are massive and delicious, we spent less than $40 each and all got thai iced teas too. No beer/liquor, not super vibey but great food and staff. Can't wait to go back.
No restroom 🤷🏾♂️
I order from Noods and chill when I’m in the moodle. (Mood for noodles).
The Pad Seew is my go to and it never ever disappoints. Much recommended spot for a quick eat and a reliable experience. 10/10 on the food 13/10 for the name, whoever named the place is a genius, my wife and I are expecting our first child soon and it would be an honor if you could help name it. Haha.
Came for the noods, stayed for the chill
Reliably and consistently good Thai in willamsburg
this restaurant order ready to very slow
Very sad my variety crispy duck yesterday was garbage basically to sweet and so much liquid inside? How is supposed to be crispy like that ? Order 3 different soup 🍲 I don’t know how they manage to make them taste the same lol sad sad
Noods n’ Chill is pretty solid, especially for their massaman curry. Some of the dishes are way too sugary / sweet for my taste (like the pad thai), but the savory dishes are good. Great service, too.
My favorite Thai place in the neighborhood. Everything ive had here has been really good.
My favorite take out Thai spot in Williamsburg. Haven’t eaten in so can’t comment on that but the takeout is always on point and we love taking this food to domino park in the summer for a lil picnic!
Did did took out but the pad thai and pork buns where really good
The food was amazing, big ol' portions and great service. We went during the winter, though, and it was a cold sitting inside. Other than that it was perfect!
We came to this restaurant on a whim and this place blew our expectations of the water. We got the pad kee mao with pork belly, medium spicy and it was excellent. The pork belly was beautifully crispy and chewy and the spice really punched through. We also had pineapple fried rice which was packed with shrimp and chicken and the pineapple was so sweet and tender. My boyfriend and I were trying to have a conversation but neither of us could focus because the food slapped so hard. Service was also so fast! We were thoroughly impressed. Will definitely be back.
Great, authentic Thai street food! Such a gem! 😋
It's hard to come by somewhere where the food is consistently amazing.
is pad thai basic? yes
am i also a sucker for N&C's pad thai? triple yes
while i love my other thai dishes, i come back time and time again for N&C's pad thai. I've gotten the vegetarian, shrimp, tofu, etc. pad thai and it is amazing every single time.
I always get the sambal on the side and it truly hits.
I wouldn't really say that the restaurant itself has much of a sophisticated ambiance but this is somewhere to go when you want to be full on good food that's moderately priced and just want a chiller setting.
Note -- they don't have a restroom at the restaurant.
You're not a take out restaurant if you ask for tip when I order food for eating in barely heated enclosure. No bathroom even for sit down customers. The food were pretty good. But asking for the tip in the app and then saying you're take out restaurant and no bathroom for sit down customers. That's hypocritical. Won't be back even though the food was actually pretty good.
Their pork
Unfortunately negative experience. I found this place while sightseeing in Williamsburg and immediately regretted it. I was served a vegetarian pad thai that smelled disgusting, and I immediately had the feeling that the ingredients were not fresh and the hygienic conditions were not good. The meat that was in my friend's pad thai had clearly gone bad.
I've gone back numerous times and I have never been disappointed. The food here is amazing!!!
Great food, really nice service from multiple people. They actually want to help you out. I couldn’t ask for more.
I ordered 3 dishes within 1 week. 🙃 Bamee Poo moo dang
Pad kee mao
Bamee Duck
We ordered a chicken bun and two pad thais yesterday; the ingredients were not fresh, and we had to throw half of it away.
Food is ok, but they seem to use their own delivery guys for ubereats orders and the delivery guys are terrible. Wish they used the regular Uber delivery system.
Our go-to Thai for delivery.
I haven’t dined at the restaurant but after searching far and wide for good Thai delivery in the area, we’re happy we found this gem. The food is excellent, and is consistently so. Our favorites are the massaman curry and drunken noodles. the Delivery is also very timely and never delayed.
This place is really good! It’s a bare bones shop with really nice people. The food is affordable for the area and tastes really good. It’s always fresh, simple, and well portioned with veggies and protein.
Mid Thai food overall. Got take out fried rice and they gave me Chinese takeout white rice and a separate container of chicken and veggies … also papaya salad is lacking flavor.
The meat in the noodle is not fresh and I want to throw up after I had the noodle. Definitely not recommended. There are so many good Thai restaurants out there. T
Authentic food with reasonable adjustment for non Thailand customers. Ordered Pad Thai and really liked it. Maybe it is just me but didn’t realize the base price on the menu does not include protein and you pay 3-5 dollars for meat or tofu or shrimp. Beware when the staff warn you the fish is spicy, they actually mean it😂. Bottom line, a nicely maintained restaurant with nice food and friendly people.
Just okay. The bill was 45 for a dish, a salad, and spring rolls. It fed 2. But the noodles were over cooked and they use way too much sugar in their noodle sauces. This place is a one and done spot.
So fun! Very quaint, eclectic diner in Williamsburg, NY. They have A LOT of Vegan and Vegetarian options. Super friendly and positive staff! I had the Vegan Spring Rolls and Veggie Bao Buns - fantastic! Please visit or order take out the next time you visit Brooklyn/Williamsburg.
Prob the best Thai noodles I’ve ever had!
Could you please make available the dinner menu during lunch or just make all the menu all day.
We always get their pad-see-ew, so good! Also love the mock duck option for vegans. When it comes to spicy level, steer clear from the Thai spicy lol. I eat spicy food and normally go for less than mild here.
Had their pad Khee mao and their curry puffs - asked for the khee mao (with chicken) spicy and it really was! I was happy the flavor was really good and the portion size was great too! The curry puffs were still a little frozen inside but they not only apologized they got me a free soda which was nice - a 4 for food but a 5 overall for service and for hearing out my feedback. Yum!
Best Thai Food in NYC. Must try the Pork Knuckle and Pork Dumplings
Delicious. Flavorful. Large portions.
Like a meal from home.
Moo Toon noodle soup comes with cartilage.
Absolutely worth it.
We had the esaan sausage, somtum palaah, curry puffs, pad see ew, and the Tom yum noodle soup. Everything was tasty! The portions are good. We had the Thai tea with lemon and the lavender lemonade and both are so refreshing. Def recommend and we would def be going back! We forgot to take pix but def will next visit
It’s hilarious how someone said this place is a take out machine because they can’t be bothered to fulfill take out orders. After having my order delayed repeatedly, I called to see what was going on. 90min of waiting and all they said was that my order was lost and if I still wanted it. No apologies or promises to remedy their mistake. A lazy “you still want it” question. Really???? Terrible people who obviously don’t care about their customers.
Edit: in response to the owner, this was not a delivery problem. I placed the order at 8:30pm and called at 9:45pm after seeing that the delivery driver had been waiting for the food for 15min. Either the order ticket was lost or the packaged food was left unsupervised and someone took it. Please don’t blame the delivery app.
Quick service, use qr codes to order, cute vibe on the inside
A small restaurant with big heart. This place is a must-try. With wide selections of what consider good and challenge will put you to the test. The restaurant may be small, but with what they have to offer will leave you with zero disappointment.
A small restaurant, a size of a typical New York City Chinese takeout place with two screwed down tables that remains unmoved. Luckily, they’ve expanded their dining space and utilized their ability to its fullest potential.
I was recommended with pork knuckle and bamee poo moo dang. Though I was skeptical about how they would make their pork knuckle differ from French. They actually shocked me, put me back to my 18+ hours flight to Thailand where I first had it. The pork was well seasoned and given a side of vinegar to add acidity. Good choice. Not to mention, their cut up pickled cabbages are a MUST have with it. Surprisingly did not leave my mouth try from the sodium content.
Overall, I was left happy and so, as my stomach once I’ve ate all of that myself.
Excellent pad see ew & cozy atmosphere
Traditional Thai foods. Limited menu.. good food .
The food was tasty. They have you order at the register. They have a sign asking you to bus your own table. They have no bathroom for diners. This can be improved!
Spicy as hell
Holy moly! The popcorn chicken dish was the bomb. Got this via DoorDash and this is going to be my new go to. Also loved the musalman curry with beef, the papaya salad, and pad see ew.
Takeout place, great portions and solid flavor profiles. As reliable as a tire iron when you're hungry.
Food was delicious and huge portions - got the pork blood soup, a pad gra pow, and papaya salad for two! We ended up with the papaya salad most leftover just because the mains were so filling.
It does seem set up as a delivery hub as there was only 1 table inside and 4 tables in the patio (all 2 seaters, but a couple could be combined). You also order the food online via a QR code and then the servers bring it to you. Due to these factors, there wasn't really an ambience, but I think it would be a lot nicer in the summer time.
Overall, the food was delicious (most important) and worth the trek for us!
Good
Just got the pork belly Ga Tiam lunch special delivered for lunch. While the pork belly is delicious, with just the right amount of fat, the amount of rice that came with the order was absolutely paltry. While I can understand rising prices and such, rice is one of the few things that shouldn't affect a restaurant's margins.
The service was great. Seated immediately and they made sure all are needs were met. Food was great too
Their pad see ew is better than anywhere else in the area I've tried -- so good with mock duck
Nice staff very helpful
Drunken noodles were fantastic
Delicious!
Authentic
Interesting and diverse menu. The beef rib noodles had a flavorful soup and the meat was falling off the bone, but relatively flavorless. Not all the signature items screamed authentic, but maybe we should not have ordered something billed as “popcorn chicken.”
Flavorful and quick! Made more to go rather than dine in, but they have a few tables set up. It’s also BYOB!
Green curry is spicy, pad Thai is good, the spring rolls ARENT fresh rolls (don’t get it confused like we did!)
One of my top Thai restaurants ever
Cute counter service style spot. Take-out oriented but if you get there a little later in the evening that element seems to wind down. I personally enjoyed the bustle though know it’s now everyone’s style. Very generous servings for the price and great flavors. If I was in the neighborhood more I’d make it a regular spot!
היה טעים, מנות גדולות והמחירים סבירים
Stopping in for a light snack, folks were very nice and the food was very tasty.
Great
Great Flavors!!
We ate here, outside during a downpour. Got soaked, but I still recall the food being good and the employees being very kind! This place isn't set up great for eating there. Take out is probably better, but they do a great job with what they've got
Delicious!
Tasty, and friendly staff
Really good pricrs for even better food
Noods n' Chill was honestly one of our favorite Thai places in New York City when we first discovered it during the pandemic. It was a different kind of Thai place. An inexpensive place with a small menu focused on creative pairings of flavors, textures, and ingredients. We really found the food here inspiring. We took friends and family here. Every time we went there was a line out the door. In fact some of the dishes we had here honestly inspired us to learn more about Thai cuisine. This was one of our favorite restaurants in Brooklyn.
And then something happened. I don't know if management changed hands, or if their previous chef moved on to greener pastures, or if they simply couldn't afford to serve food of the quality they aspired to when they first opened. We went back recently, and the menu was completely different, a new long menu focused mostly on takeout it seems. The flavor is all wrong now. They serve mounds of bland noodles, inedible pork belly cooked to the consistency of cardboard, and dry bao buns stuffed with dry pulled pork without even a hint of sauce or vegetable.
Honestly writing this review is just making me sad. I really loved this restaurant! If they changed things around, I would go back in a heartbeat. But what they're doing now is unsustainable... Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe serving bland take-out classics really is the only profitable option in Williamsburg these days. Whatever the case may be, Noods n' Chill is a tragedy. I just want the old Noods n' Chill back... please?
Their Boat Blood Noodle is to die for!
Food is just bland and expensive. One of these places you regret spending money at
What it lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for with delicious Thai eats.
Pad Thai and pot stickers are a good choice.
Summary: great food and service!
Long story: Grubhub ran a lunch promo that overwhelmed its own service and likely most restaurants’ as well. I didn’t get my food from Noods earlier although from their end it appeared to have been delivered. They were very apologetic and kindly sent a replacement with extra drinks in super quick time.
I had actually posted a negative review on Grubhub earlier (thinking it was for Grubhub instead of the restaurant) but it looks to have been removed already, so that’s fixed. This is to make up for them going to lengths to remediate Grubhub’s bad idea of a promo.
I have also been a repeat delivery and in-restaurant customer simply because the food is good! Authentic and delicious at reasonable prices. Thumbs up :)
Had my food waiting to be picked up for over an hour only for them to cancel. Absolutely the worst place. Wouldn’t order from here ever again. Too many Thai restaurants in the city for them to be doing so horrible on service
The food was amazing, we got the crab fried rice, pad kee mao, and the chicken popcorn buns!
After ordering delivery several times from Noods n Chill I can attest their dishes are consistently good. Today however, I ordered the the shrimp massman curry and WOW I was blown away. Probably the best massaman curry I’ve tasted— their iteration was well balanced with mild sweetness, spice, and a unique smokiness… hope they keep this recipe going for future orders. Happy customer here!
Topp notch
Everything I’ve tried so far has been absolutely delicious and also fairly priced. Everyone who works there is always super friendly and overall just an awesome place to get Thai food. Definitely a go-to spot for me!
we went here instead of a Michelin star restaurant and we have no regrets. Food was excellent, vibes are wonderful, portions are big, meat was incredibly tender. I would trust them with my life.
We got Moo toon, pork dumplings, Thai iced coffee, and lemon Thai tea.
had takeout delivered, I had to write a bad review for a local business but the UberEats photos definitely made it look way more appealing than it is. Considering there's not a lack of thai spots in NYC, I found the food to be super bland.
Great authentic Thai food! I am Thai so this review counts for double! Friendly staff too. Really appreciate them taking food allergies into consideration. Lots of vegetarian and GF options! ขอบคุณมากนะคะ 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I ordered takeout from Noods n' Chill, so I cannot speak to the in-house experience, but mine was poor.
I ordered from Grubhub, and the food was dispatched within 5 minutes of the order confirmation, suggesting that the food was pre-made. Normally I would not take issue with this, as I have worked in restaurants before and know how it goes, but the food that arrived looked and tasted as if it had been sitting out for quite a long time, or, at least, it was the dregs of what had originally been a large portion of food cooked earlier that day.
The Larb moo presented more as a sweet, sickly soup than a dry, aromatic salad dish. Larb moo should be a little moist, but it certainly should not sit nearly covered in its own juice. The dish tasted as if it had been laced thickly with sugar, or else the sugar (or sugar-containing ingredient) used to prep the wholesale quantity to be served to customers over the course of the day had drained to the bottom of the storage container in which it sat at the restaurant, and I just happened to get the last, unfortunate bits of the batch. The lettuce in the dish had wilted completely, so that it nearly dissolved in the mouth. At least, the dish was very spicy — a virtue often lacking in the dishes slung by NYC Thai restaurants. This was appreciated.
The green curry was a bit better, although the beef I had opted for was tough and chewy; however, I will readily concede that the meat probably cooked further than was intended on its way from the restaurant to my apartment in the container, effectively thermos-like, used by Nn'C. This dish, too, was unpleasantly sweet, leaving me to wonder whether the restaurant heaps sugar into its dishes to appeal to the American palate. Neither of the dishes I ordered tasted authentically Thai.
I want to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt given that it is featured in numerous maps on Eater and seems to be celebrated all over the internet. It's probable that I suffered because I ordered takeout. Who's to say. Anyway, I look forward to my in-house encounter with Noods n' Chill and welcome the opportunity of a more positive experience at the restaurant. But, ultimately: ye orderers of takeout beware.
My favorite neighborhood spot for take out!
Great food and very reasonable
Always super delicious. Shoutout to my guy Joe!
service and food were great!
I've been to Chiang Mai Thailand before and had Khao soy there which tasted amazing. Ordered the same dish at this restaurant without any expectations. I must say, I was extremely impressed. It tasted delicious just like the one I had in Thailand. Very authentic! My friend ordered crab fried rice and loved it too. Great place for thai food. I will definitely be coming back!
It's ok good for you luck 👍orders delivery food time ⏲️good
Great food. fair price. They need to turn up the heat tho
Very popular place. People were coming in and out. The restaurant isn't cozy so I don't recommend indoor dining. I ordered the eggplant tofu. It was decent. The tofu, I'm pretty sure was precooked so that they could add it to any dish that needed it. Tofu was hard and flavorless but with the sauce with the eggplant, it wasn't bad. The pad thai with shrimp was really good. It had a good peanut flavor and wasn't too sweet. My friend also got fish balls and he devoured them. I didn't try rhem but by how he ate them I would say try them.
They are always late. They say to pick up after 15 minutes, waited 35 minutes for the food. The food is great though, but to the owners, maybe say a more accurate time so we don’t have to go there and wait longer than expected. Thanks
