DB kitchen is one of those hidden gems/ hole in the wall places. The stone pho bowl is perfect if you’re really hungry. The bowl comes out really boiling hot. You put all the meat and noodles in and it cooks almost instantly. Its delicious.

Dung and Ben seem to know every customer and are always friendly.

The banh mi here is also a great choice for a quick bite.

After ND Pho, once a favorite of ours, closed, this has been our favorite restaurant as well ever since they opened a delicious restaurant that serves Vietnamese and Thai food at the same time, similar to CT Bistro. The staff is always friendly and very pleasant. We hadn't eaten here in a year and a half and she remembered us. We had the salad rolls, yellow curry and shaken beef. All were very tasty. The Shaken Beef was especially good with cubes of meat that were tender and the sauce was well mixed. Shaken beef is my favorite dish and I have had it many places, but this one is my favorite. I would like to try the other dishes again.🤤

Delicious Pho

Excellent bún. Each component was seasoned and cooked wonderfully. Service was prompt and courteous. The atmosphere is really comfortable and pleasant for a get together with a friend!

Their pho had the best thinly sliced brisket and rare steak I’ve ever had this side of Hanoi.
I know we white Americans generally do not like the textures of tendon or tripe, so I ordered just their brisket and rare steak pho. Oh man the meat was so tender! Not tough and stringy like almost every other place in the Portland area.
Just writing this review makes me hungry to go back for more.
Their fried calamari was also very good.

Everytime I come here, I'm always given a warm welcome and given great service! These folks bring you some of the tastiest Pho in town! Once they started offering Banh Mi, I knew I found my go-to Vietnamese restaurant. If you're looking for a nice, quaint and easy going lunch or dinner, look no further!

Grilled shrimp noodles bowl, WOW! Now that is some killer shrimp. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, that is hard to find. The fish sauce was amazing with chili flakes. I would say this is my new favorite dish but, everytime I try something new from DB's, I say that. 😍

Their Sunday menu was a big surprise, it's worth trying. Pho tho da I ordered was good and had huge portions. I love the flat noodles that came to the side, and the broth flavor was so tasty. I can't wait to try Bun Bo Hue and Bun Rieu again, they were AMAZING!!!

Don’t sleep on this place. Food is amazing especially the spicy squid stir fry and the com dac biet is delicious as well. The waitresses are very friendly and efficient and the food arrives fast and hot. One of our go to places for Friday date night.

It is rich but light, full of herbs and comes with tons of food that actually makes you full unlike many other restaurants that only give you two slices of meat in a bowl of soup. You know those nights when you get off work and you don't feel like cooking.. the fact that this place is right across Cornell from me... DANGEROUS! IT IS SO DELICIOUS! We ordered the Chicken Pho, Pineapple fried rice, BBQ Pork, and their chicken fried rice. Literally, the best Rice I've ever had! I could eat their Pineapple fried rice EVERY DAY! My husband, and both of my kids loved their chicken fried rice. It was full of flavor and almost buttery. If you haven't tried DB's Kitchen yet, DO IT! I'm not ashamed to say we will be ordering it again this week. Lol!

My adult son and I ate at DB's Kitchen for the first time last night. This wife and husband owned and run restaurant is a gem of friendly and attentive service, generosity, and amazing food.

Adriene took our order and answered every question we had about the menu. She recommended (and made) the watermelon smoothie, which was surprisingly delicious and refreshing on a 100 degree day.

We were the only dine-in customers, but watched as several people came in to place orders to go. Every customer who came in was seated at a table in the air-conditioned restaurant and served a glass of ice water without cost.

My son ordered the tripe soup with vermicelli noodles, and I had vermicelli noodles with grilled chicken, pork, and shrimp. The portions were huge, perfectly cooked, pleasantly presented, and spiced with amazing balance.

In the past we've driven over an hour to Salem to eat great Vietnamese food. Now we've discovered it 10 minutes from home.

We really like food we ordered at DB's Kichen. We didn't wait long and everything were very tasty. The area we ate was clean. The lady who served was very sweet and helpful.

My favorite local Pho place. The staff is friendly and the manager works hard to accommodate custom requests. I'm always impressed with how much they care about customer satisfaction.

Hello hello, fellow foodies! DB'S Kitchen, previously name Pho MD, is a pretty descent Thai/Vietnamese cuisine place, food is tasty, good customer service, the prices are descent and they give you plenty of food to eat and to take home leftovers.

Let me just say it doesn’t look like much but the customer service was 5 star all the way. I got the pad Thai and man it’s delicious. I’d definitely recommend this to my friends & family.

I visited DB's Kitchen for dinner and I was really impressed! The Red Curry was excellent, and the service was very polite. The prices were also very reasonable. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

Stopped here one day for dinner, excellent service, friendly staff, and great food. Good Pho, very creamy curry, and the Pad Thai is an excellent savory dish. Especially loved the chicken, very tender and flavorful.

We’ve tried many dishes here and they were all good. The service is great too. The super mixed meat noodle bowl is much better than any of the other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve had in the area. The Tom Kha is a unique Viet/Thai fusion that also tastes great.

Ordered pad Thai, & cashew chicken. GREAT quantity, great taste, especially with your favorite hot sauce. Worth every penny.

I love this place! I was just in Oregon for a visit and went back here three times in one week! My first night I arrived in Hillsboro, my boyfriend and I were looking for a place for me to get soup. The pho was delicious! Another time we went and had the butterfly pea flower tea… I also love their Vietnamese coffee. Their Thai dishes are so good and the staff are friendly. Sue Me remembered us and our last orders and was wonderful to make suggestions for our meal selections when we weren’t sure what to get. I look forward to going when I visit Hillsboro again in a couple weeks!

My boyfriend and I came here for Thai food, and it was wonderful! The pad thai was delicious, as was the papaya salad (which was also a lovely lunch the next day 💕), but the show stopper was Gramma's dessert. I've never had anything like it before, but you can bet I'll be ordering it again 😂

Excellent food here! I get a bit nervous about kitchens that offer more than one type of cuisine, but this restaurant performs excellently with their Thai dishes, at least. I've gotten the pad sieuw many times in the past and always enjoyed it. Today I branched out and got the salt & pepper calamari and was really impressed. The seasoning is perfect! Also, I was 10 minutes late for pickup and had resigned myself to soggy calimari, but the dish was magically still crunchy outside and tender inside. Sticky rice dessert is so yummy. Pad Thai has really nice flavor as well. I would say the spice level is true to expectations - medium spice won't make you cry, and mild is kid-safe.

Stopped by for the first time. I was looking for a secret hole in the wall somewhere where I could get away for a meal in peace. This would be my secret hide-a-way however I don't think a place this great should be a secret. The service was out of this world in a fine balance as not to be bothersome. I ordered the red curry extra spicy. It was AMAZING, I will absolutely be back with my family and friends.

We had a delicious dinner here tonight. This was the second time we've eaten here and we'll be back! This will be our 'go to' Thai restaurant. The flavors are SO GOOD! And the service is fantastic, so friendly and helpful. We had the Pad Woonsen, pineapple fried rice and red curry. Portions were big with fresh veggies and pineapple. Best Thai in town! Go visit and see for yourself!

We had the most delicious food here - I loved my vermicelli dish. The loose tea (jasmine) in a little heavy tea pot was so soothing on a cold day. The place was very clean & very affordable. In fact it's a bargain. It's your classic great food in a seemingly unlikely place - a suburban mini-mall.

So good! We loved it so much we are returning tonight. We loved the stir fry. Lots of veggies and rice on the side. Fried rice had that flavor I love too! I will say their current packaging did leak a while but it did take me a good 30 minutes to get it home. So beware. Otherwise it was wonderful and tasty and affordable! About 12 bucks a plate for dinner.

The beef Pad Kee Mao was delicious, affordable, and a huge serving. We'll be back frequently to get our drunken noodles fix. The food and sauces were delicious, but the staff rounded out the service by being extremely friendly. The owner even came out to ask us how our food was. That doesn't happen very often at any restaurant and shows that they care about their food and customers.

I've been comimg here for almost 3 years with my family. The owner is very personable, great service, and the best part is the consistently delicious food. The Pho is flavorful, Pad Ke Mao is authentic as can be and the deserts and smoothies are so good. I like their lotus tea. It is my favorite Vietnamese spot but it also has several Thai dishes. Eberything is plated well. I often order the salad rolls which are the best around!

My family has been visiting this location for years and every trip is always a delight. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and accommodating of specific food requests as necessary (my husband is a chronic picky eater).

If you're looking for a hearty meal, their selection of Pho is fantastic and the Pad Thai is top notch. Looking for something a little brighter and lighter? Their Vermicelli bowls are my personal favorite! And I could make a meal of their salad rolls, which are the best in town by a mile in my opinion. Actually, to be honest, I have made a meal of them... on more than one occassion. ;)

Every table comes with a selection of sauces, some of which are practically a fire hazard as spicy as they get! If you're like me and can't handle the heat, rest assured, the spicy stuff is optional.

I would suggest eating at the restaurant, which I have always found to be clean, quiet, and relaxing (or bursting at the seams if you catch the lunch rush). But they are always happy to get something together for take-out.

Price-wise, this place is very reasonable (I would say 3 out of 5 on the expense scale). They aren't cheap but the ingredients and recipes are worth every penny. Parking is plentiful and they're located right off Cornell. Just take care in the parking lot, there can be some gnarly pot holes depending on the time of year.

Overall, Pho ND is my favorite Pho spot in town.

I ordered pho for take-out, and was shocked to see that they gave me raw meat. I don't order from a restaurant to then go home and cook the food myself. I was disappointed and very surprised they wouldn't warn me they were giving me cold, raw beef.

This pho place warms my heart every time I go here. One of my new experiments is putting all the pho items in the wonton (hoanh thanh) soup. Yes, I’m super hungry for awesomeness!!!
