I love Thai food and having moved here recently from Queens I was praying to find one out here on the Island. My prayers were answered! I’ve come a few times already for lunch and everything has been so so delicious. My favorites so far are the Thai basil chicken dish, Thai Iced Tea, and the crab Rangoon was a special treat from the owner. The staff has always been so kind and welcoming. I absolutely love this place and the atmosphere is so pretty. Definitely a great spot for either lunch or a date night!

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch here recently. Everything was homemade, delicious and the service was friendly and personal. They took special care with my nut allergy. Amazing Thai iced tea! Relaxing atmosphere - very homey. We are so lucky that they’ve come to Babylon Village. Highly recommend this family owned restaurant! We can’t wait to return.

The yuzu champagne (both raspberry and regular ) were amazing, the basil fried rice with shrimp left me wanting more, the Tom yum soup was delicious with great flavor not salty like most soups, the calamari was well done not crunchy (but we ordered 2 ) ,the atmosphere is welcoming ,the owners provided great service.

Was there last nite . It was the BEST !!! The chef came out and explained all the dishes she was so pleasant .They have a stand up comic for a maitre d he is also the Best , Steve ! Once again, we had a wonderful experience at Thai
Station Café. The service was as always... Excellent! The flavors are like a gastronomy journey to Thailand. We really enjoyed lunch here. The Massaman Curry was outstanding… try it with beef and a little heat. My favorite was the Shrimp Sautéed Thai Basil Chili 🌶️. Delish!!! The meal was complete with a scrumptious Fried Banana dessert. Yum!!! I highly recommend this little hidden gem in the heart of Babylon Village.

I found this hidden gem online as I was in the mood for Thai food. This restaurant was cozy and warm, and their food fresh and delicious. There was even parking in the back! I highly recommend this establishment and look forward to returning in the future.

Terrific - every time!

I cant rave about this place enough. Prices are not cheap(and not bad with the inflation we've had) but neither is the quality of your food. I have tried every Thai restaurant on the south shore and basically anywhere within a 10-15 miles radius of Babylon, just searching for a semi local go to Thai spot. Well this is it. Other places can be cheaper but the quality is night and day. The chicken uhh the chicken perfectly seasoned for every dish. I dare you to pick up a dish here and at your Thai spot and compare. You will not be disappointed! My go to is the pad see ew and coconut sweet sticky rice.

The food is incredible, the staff is so friendly, and it's just a peaceful vibe inside. I've been twice now and am looking forward to returning many more times!

We were searching for a restaurant to celebrate the holidays with friends, and I chose Thai Cafe Station because of the amazing experience we had during our first visit last month. I’m happy to say that our second visit was just as impressive.

When ordering a variety of dishes to share, it’s common to find a few hits and misses, but every dish we tried was delicious, bursting with authentic and rich flavors. Finding a truly authentic Thai restaurant on Long Island can be challenging, as many end up tasting more like Chinese takeout, but this place stands out. Our friends were equally impressed with the flavors, attentive service, and stylish decor.

Having dined at numerous Thai restaurants across Long Island, Queens, and Manhattan, I can confidently say this is my favorite. It offers not only exceptional food but also great value. What sets it apart is its NYC-style decor and dishes that boast the flavors and presentation of a high-end restaurant.

Authentic Thai food on Long Island is hard to come by, so I was thrilled to discover this gem! From the first bite, I could tell this was something special. What a cozy warm little restaurant off the beaten path from Babylon’s Main Street. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, but not overdone, the atmosphere Made me feel more like I was eating in Manhattan than across the street from the train station.
The weight staff was attentive yet unintrusive checking in to make sure we were enjoying the food and that they did not need to make any adjustments. It is also worth being said that the first thing they ask you when you order is if there are any food allergies. Considering I have one I was greatly appreciative of their mindfulness.
The food Took a little time to come to the table, but once it arrived, I realized why. You could tell it was freshly prepared when you ordered it, no sitting under a hot lamp or being reheated.! I have read other reviews that complained about portion sizes and price. I disagree, the portions were Perfectly sized two dishes, two people and leftovers to go home. As for the cost the last time I had something simple like moose you pork from my local Chinese place it was 22.50. To pay the same for that delicious fried rice, no problem!
Now to the actual food..! I never thought of Thai food as being Comfort food and then I came here and was introduced to Tom Kha soup. I ordered it mild and it was the perfect amount of heat For a cold winters night. The pad Thai and the coconut fried rice were so perfectly flavored I couldn’t stop eating them. I had decided I was too full for dessert when I heard the table next to me order vanilla ice cream, which is served over sticky rice with warm coconut milk. Sticky rice is magical on its own, but served this way. It was reminisce of rice pudding with an upgrade.!
I already have a list of people that I will be bringing here!

It was our first time at Thai Station Cafe and it didnt disappoint!We ordered thai ice tea and coconut juice for drinks,soft shell mango and thai basil angus beef for entree and Tomyum for soup and for dessert we had the best Mango sticky rice Ive ever had,they even gave us one more on the house!We will be definately be coming back to try more.

The owner is extremely kind and the food is incredible. I’ve been eating Thai curry frequently for over a decade and this is some of the best red I’ve had. Also the crab rangoons are excellent. As it should be, The filling is the star without an overwhelming amount of shell. I’ve been here twice, the food is Excellent, and I’ll definitely be back.

No napkins, no silverware, no labeling of the dishes to know which was which and the fried rice was the most bland/mediocre Thai fried rice I've ever had. Disappointing.

Excellence in every respect, a must try place in the heart of Babylon

Amazing little place. Food was out of this world. We had the pad Thai shrimp and veggie soup. We will be back!

Loved it! I went last week with the girls I grew up with. Everything was fresh and delicious and the purveyors were so kind and welcoming. Nice balance of authentic and modern. My one friend generally dislikes Thai food and she loved it. Crab rangoon, chicken satay, and curry was delish. Not much in the way of gluten free options however. Definitely going back!

The food here is wonderful, the ambiance really leans into what a Thai place should be. The staff are so kind and courteous. I have been several times and I don’t plan on stopping.

Beautiful decoration atmosphere both inside restaurant and in the restroom . Love the thai music (Ranad). Papaya Salad, Pork BBQ, Sticky Rice and Crab Rangoon were delicious. Stir fry Beef with Basil also very good but for original Thai food, we don't need lot of sauce on the plate. Understandable that the owner wanted to please Western Customers. As often, they had asked for more sauce. Perhaps, leave the sauce to them not Thai Customers then, lol. Pad See Eew was very good. Soft Shell Crab Green Curry was different for me. Bubble Thai Ice Tea was my favourite. All in all very good. About the price, this restaurant wasn't the only restaurant to set their price high. So, whoever want to taste their food should made up their mind before visiting and enjoy the meal :D

What else can I say once again the Thai Station, Babylon NY has delivered an outstanding delectable dinner that was remarkable. The pasta noodles were cooked Al Dente
to perfection. Believe it or not and if you are like me willing to embrace new foods that are literally cutting edge in the industry the pasta noodles were made with the ink contained inside of calamari which had an incredible intensive flavor. The shrimp in a spicy curry sauce was a very nice compliment. Fone the owner and chef is a rare gem that prides herself on perfection and remarkable presentation. Steve her fiancé and Christian her son make you feel special and are wonderful hosts with spectacular inviting warm personalities that are literally second to none. This is truly one of my favorite places to share culture and to have a wonderful experience. Genuine family with warm hearts .

Was excited to have a Thai spot right in the village locally. Had takeout tonight, definitely overpriced… I was a little amiss when the sticky rice came and it was served in a takeout box in a ball of saran wrap? It also was plain sticky rice, but the photo online showed mango with the typical coconut sticky rice. I’ve ordered this all over the country and lots of diff places on LI and have never been served rice in a piping hot ball of plastic. Additionally, now I am reading the reviews and how the owner responds to negative comments is astonishing - this place is a definite no go for me.

I'm Thai and love every dish from here. The foods are delicious and authentic. The chef knows what she's doing and she puts her heart on her foods. The prices are worth to buy delicious foods from here. I'm highly recommend this restaurant. Also the place is so clean and I love their decoration. Feeling cozy and welcome.

We love this place. We've eaten here five times, once in a group of seven. People have commented on menu prices and service, and our experiences might address both. But the main point to know is that the cooking is extraordinary. There is a whole lot less brown sugar and an amazing harmony among dishes that too many Thai restaurants stopped paying attention to.
Share your food! If you do not share your dishes, you will miss out on how beautifully the recipes complement each other. Sampling different dishes also amplifies the overall sense of value. While the entrees are worth their cost, the prices do catch the eye. We decided on our first visit to get appetizers and soups, which made an excellent, filling, and encouraging meal. On return visits, we've found the dinner entrees to be good values- and always exceptionally delicious.
Thai Station Cafe's interior designer created a very comfortable- nearly cozy- spot that is very relaxing. The gentle background music would fit in a Miyazaki film. The Cafe is, however, small- and is still lightly staffed as business builds up. Our server has mainly been the manager- and he very pleasantly makes sure to suggest and to listen. Thai Station is not afraid to deliver real heat for people who ask (yay!), and he takes pleasantly non-judgey time to help navigate what's being asked for. The time-to-table of orders reflects careful preparation. Our visit with 7 confirmed for us that the kitchen and chef know exactly what they are doing. Service time for 7 was not appreciably different than service for 2. They are expertly cooking to order.
Thai Station Cafe recently re-scaled their spiciness choices, which no longer continue past 'Mama' to 'Angry Mama'. 'Mama', from someone who enjoys hot food- is hot. Thai iced tea or coffee has lots of milk- which can definitely help manage the pepper. Those drinks (at any restaurant) are too sweet for me. Nibbles of thin slices of young coconut from the excellent coconut water my wife ordered blended deliciously with each dish we had, and seemed to regulate the spiciness.

The foods are delicious, so many selection and the flavor are great. Staffs are kind and friendly.

I've eaten at an abundance of Thai restaurants all over the country in more expensive areas and never have I had to pay 22 dollars for pad thai - typical Long Island price gouging. Also, I have no idea what they're talking about with an "expired coupon" - that was not us 🤷‍♀️

Just ordered delivery from here and the food was not good the flavor was bland and the padthai had a hint of fish at the bottom the of bowl. Maybe it was a one time thing but it was not good at all.

I live in Westchester County . Made a day trip out to Robert Moses with my daughter ..We wanted Thai food .. and found this little gem! Last night was our second visit . The food is absolutely delicious and we can’t stop thinking about it! My daughter and I had The Green Curry with tofu and my friend had the pineapple fried rice .. both with tofu..The owner Fawn is a master chef and everything is as fresh as can be and prepared with love integrity and expertise! The place is cozy , colorful and a super peaceful vibe .. All of the staff are warm and inviting and knowledgeable.. we have had really nice conversations both times .. it is a bit of a trek for us .. but well worth it! Can’t wait to go back!

First time grabbing takeout from this place, it was disappointing. I didn’t feel like my meal was worth the price. Small portions and overpriced. However, the interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated.

What a beautiful, tasty experience at the Thai Station Cafe! This was my first time here and we will definitely be coming back! Delicious Thai food! This is my second time visiting Thai Station Cafe, and this menu has some thing for everyone! I’ve had difficulty going to Thai restaurants because my boyfriend is highly allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. I was able to convince him to join me the second time and the chef personally assured him that she would handle his food. She made us feel safe knowing that she is knowledgeable about her restaurant and the food she serves. I was also comforted by the level of care she has for her customers. It’s the only Thai restaurant he will trust now and he’s excited to come back! We had a variety of choices included the Thai Ice Tea, Lobster Pad Thai, Crab Rangoon, and I had the Squid Basil Special to name a few! We can not wait to visit again and try more menu items!

Amazing! We have been on the hunt for a new Thai restaurant since moving out of the city. The food here is on the same level as our favorite Thai spot in NYC. It took us a year of trying many different spots to finally find a place with amazing Thai food. The atmosphere and service was also incredible. I had the spring roles and drunken noodles which were both superb. We cant wait to go back! The tables next to us also finished their plates- seems you can’t go wrong here!

We ordered spring rolls which was frozen from inside we ask them to change it and replaced had the bitter after taste, another incident the main course came after one hour of waiting that too worst pad Thai ever. The red curry had egg plant in it, only because the restaurant ran out of bell peppers

Took my Thai girlfriend here and had a delicious authentic Thai lunch. It was very fresh and really enjoyed talking with the owner Fone. I definitely recommend going here for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed.

I've been looking for a new Thai place since my favorite closed down due to covid. Luckily for me one opened up within walking distance and it is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Incredible experience I read the chefs story ,I live in the village where this restaurant is . I can only tell anyone this is thinking about trying this place seriously I highly recommend ! I am not a critic but you can taste the passion and care this food made by a woman who is highly skilled and is pouring that onto every plate I ate there tonight . Even without a liquor license yet you can bring your own bottle and wow the food was so fresh and incredible experience is best I can say chef bravo to you ! I will return many times and I hope everyone that reads that tries this place it is well worth it !!!

The food is the most authentic Thai food I have had. The flavors are excellent. Easily the best Thai I have had on Long Island. The owner is also wonderful and came out and checked how everything was. Will definitely be coming back!

Beautifully refurbished a pizza parlor into an intimate Thai restaurant. They are attentive to food and spice sensitivity. On Mother's Day, we had appetizers of chicken satay and shrimp dumpling. We ordered Massaman chicken curry and beef drunken noodles. The Thai milk tea is a must!

Was hoping to enjoy this restaurant but they were closed randomly around 2:30 on a busy Friday? Was very odd, no change on the sign outside with indication restaurant would be closed for whatever reason? Could be it was their lunch hour and they were closed for prep?

I think transparency would be helpful.

There was a woman sitting by the door with her phone in her hand and she wouldn’t even come out to tell whether or not they were still open and operating for the next 7hrs. Odd.

Hopefully they can commit to regular hours. Would love to stop in and try the food.

Pretty mediocre food, charged us 70 dollars for 2 entrees and miserable dry dumplings.

I had dinner on May 7th 2024. My wife and I enjoyed the meal. Seafood salad crab meat, chicken. The best meal I had in New York. I love spicy food. Fresh peppers

Best Thai food in the area! Nice selection of traditional thai appetizers, salads, curries, noodles, and desserts. Such nice service and convenient right next to the train station with plenty of parking.

The pineapple fried rice with duck was so delicious! It was the perfect portion for me. However, I did find it to be very expensive especially for the portion. I checked in on Yelp and I received a 20% off coupon and even after that it was $29.26. The original price being about $34. The rice actually tasted better without pineapple since the flavor wasn't blended well together. The service was great, the workers were extremely kind. And the interior of the restaurant is just beautifully decorated.

It was 12:07 pm on a Saturday afternoon. It was sunny outside, and the temperature was about 63 degrees. I was walking near the Babylon LIRR Train Station, and as I was reflecting on what a nice day it was outside, I decided to give the Thai Station Cafe a try for lunch.

From the moment I walked into the store, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the owner of the restaurant, Fone. I was amazed at how beautiful the atmosphere was within the restaurant. The decor in the restaurant really enhanced the dining experience and led it to be the true and ideal Saturday Afternoon Dining Experience.

I ordered the Vegetarian Clear Soup and the Chicken Pad Thai, and both of those dishes were absolutely phenomenal. We also were able to try their vanilla ice cream for dessert, which was absolutely excellent as well. The Thai Station Cafe in Babylon, NY had the best Thai food that I've ever had in my entire life.

Fone was very friendly and answered thoroughly any questions I had about the menu. Fone treated me like family. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for incredible Thai food and a breathtaking ambience for when it comes to dining. Excellent job Fone & Thai Station Cafe!

Food was mediocre, service was lacking significantly. We were a party of 6 and drinks and appetizers took entirely too long, nearly 20mins after being seated. Server forgot one of our appetizers as well even when it was mentioned upon reviewing the orders, it was the last dish served when we had requested it be brought out with our entrees instead. Entrees were not served at the same time, they were brought out one or two dishes at a time which meant we could not enjoy our food all together. The first dish was brought out probably 20mins before the last dish. When we let the chef/owner know about our feedback, she was not understanding and claimed the restaurant was busy when we were the only table in the restaurant. Also note that gratuity is automatically applied for parties more than 5, this is not stated anywhere within the restaurant/menu.

The food was delicious, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. It is family-owned and run and very friendly.

This is my second review. They continue to offer excellent service and delicious food. They are having a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 10 at noon. If you want to attend, you are welcome. At least try it once and be kind to leave a review on Google maps.

The service here was EXCELLENT! With every bite you can taste how fresh all the products are. We ordered the lobster pad thai and we soon learned that the lobster was prepared fresh, only moments before it was served. The owners were so sweet and considerate. Definitely recommend!

We came here so many time since the new place was opened. We had tried traditional pad Thai noodle and Thai curry dishes. The chef even made customized vegetation dish for my wife.

My family and I had a wonderful meal at the Thai Station Cafe! The food was delicious, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the hostess was welcoming, thoughtful, and accommodating. We were six and ordered the chicken satay as an appetizer. It normally came with five pieces of chicken, without even asking, she added an extra piece of chicken so that we could all enjoy this delicious appetizer. The food was so good that none of us walked out with food to go. We enjoyed it all right there! I/we highly recommend the Thai Station Cafe and know that, without a doubt, we will be back! FIVE stars!

at the ARGYLE THEATER. After the show, we wanted to try out the new Thai restaurant in Babylon by the train station…
My sons fiancé is from Thailand and she has educated me about Thai cooking and presentation of the traditional Thai meals.
We had 3 dishes, the mango salad with sautéed softshell crab.
Thai dumplings with shrimp.
And the green curry dish with chicken.
The three selections were excellent, very authentic Thai food, and the presentation of the food was extraordinary..
I would recommend this restaurant for great Thai food and to everyone that wants authentic and wonderful dining experience.

Was there opening weekend!
Extra long wait for an order to go, too salty enough to having drinking water all night, the amount of food was too minimal for $22 , noodle dish , very disappointed for new thai restaurant to open in area, since I had to travel all the way out to Nassau co or Queens to get authentic Thai food, though restaurant atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting , but still needs improvement in regard to food and speed, possibly due to initial opening.

I was excited to have a Thai restaurant in Babylon Village. I tried it today, and it was everything I had hoped for. The small, but familiar, menu packs a Thai punch with its authentic flavors and spice levels. The "Mama" spice level is actually spicy - which is perfect for me.
I highly recommend the soft shell crab mango salad. It's fish-sauce forward, but extremely balanced flavors. Amazing!

Thia Station Cafe is a wonderful and welcome addition to the Babylon area and so conveniently located just steps away from the LIRR Babylon train station.

From the moment I walked in the door, the owners Fawn and Steve were so personable, friendly and welcoming. The decor inside was new and beautifully decorated.
From the ceiling to the walls and the seating the entire restaurant is fresh and welcoming with pleasant instrumental music playing. The atmosphere couldn't be any better as it added to the dining experience where you can relax and enjoy the delicious food they offer.

The food is authentic with fresh quality ingredients. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly and served with pride from their plate presentation. The prices on the menu are certainly reasonable, especially for the service they provide, the enjoyable dining experience and the quality of the food that they serve.

This is certainly a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ restaurant that will not disappoint you.

Ordered a chicken rice soup for my husband who was under the weather. Normally we just opt for chicken rice from the local Chinese spot but since this was on my way home from a dr appointment and I had seen some positive reviews I decided to give it a try. I called in a chicken rice soup. Made fresh. Definitely its own delicious Thai spin. Flavorful and a little bit of heat. Husband loved it. Said it did the trick for not feeling well. We will be back to try dinner.

Was visiting friends on Long Island when one of them suggested this new Thai place in West Babylon Thai Station Cafe what a delight. The place is tastefully decorated very cozy and intimate. The service friendly knowledgeable and efficient. The owner knows what she's doing it shows in every dish and the decor. We had the crab rangoons thai dumplings and steamed mussels YUM! The entrees Chicken & Cashews Salmon Teriyaki Green Curry Chicken Pad Thai were all delicious. Finished the night off with some fried bananas fitting ending to a wonderful night. Look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this place. Best Thai food around!

The Thai restaurants that were in or around Babylon have been gigantic disappointments. Enter this place. Super homey feel and the family who runs it were incredibly nice and attentive. Zen music playing in the background was perfect to not rush through the meal. Took my wife and 2 daughters here and all of the food was perfect. Dumplings, steamed noodles and chicken satay was home made and just very refreshing. We also ordered pad see ew and chicken teriyaki and again, fresh, vibrant and everything was just incredibly satisfying. Menu is not overwhelming and just an all around great experience. Will definitely be going back!

Went for dinner last night. Food was excellent. Nice atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and nice. My only complaint concerns the service: they seemed a bit disorganized and it was a bit slow. But, I plan to go back soon!

Pad Thai was out of this world! Tasty soup and spring rolls as well. Staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service. I will definitely go here regularly!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner, after seeing it from the train station platform. Both meals were delicious. The owner was really nice and friendly. Atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Food was great! A bit pricey but the food taste compensates it. Atmospheric vibes is moderately thai. Staff were pleasant but probably needs more hospitality training, which is understandable since they still looked like hs students. I guess our big dislike is possibly the owner if not the manager, she just needs more customer service training in hospitality business. We felt like she does not want us there and she scolds employees loudly, good thing one of the server apologized. Accepts credit/debit. High chair available. Parking across and street parking. Ample spacing between tables. Watchout for the entrance, It is a trip hazard
