I visited this restaurant today and had a pleasant experience. I ordered the Asian box fried rice and chicken egg rolls. The staff was friendly and welcoming, greeting me as I entered. My order was prepared quickly and they even included some complimentary sauces. The food tasted delicious and the portion size was generous, enough to feed three people. Overall, I had a positive experience and felt that I received good value for my money.

Was in town for a competition and didn't want the typical burgers and heavy fair, so we found this Thai/Vietnamese place and it did NOT disappointed. Nice couple running the restaurant were very nice and attentive. The chicken wings were hot, crispy, and delicious. Ordered the Pad kee Mao with chicken and it was perfect, the noodles were not dry and chicken was tasty, and it was not overly sauced, I should have gotten it spicier! Also, tried the Hot Beef Stir fry, that was also very good, a little sweet for my tastes, but nothing a little chili oil can't fix. Overall, the prices are good, and the food was excellent, that makes it definitely a good place to try out!

Glad to see my old friend Benny is back doing what it is that he does best; making the best damn Thai food in Houston. Took the family here to celebrate my son's birthday. Food was excellent. 10 out of 10. Price is very reasonable. Service was excellent prompt and friendly. Wish the venue was a little bit bigger, that is really my only complaint. For anyone who used to love Thai Jasmine in Southeast Houston a few years ago, please come try this place. Will not be disappoint.

I really enjoyed the food here! They gave us a cup of vegetable soup as soon as we sat down. It was a very simple soup, but it had great flavor. We ordered fried calamari, shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, and salt & pepper shrimp. It was all hot, fresh, and delicious! I have never seen so many shrimp in a dish before! Everyone was very friendly, we will definitely be back!

Cozy restaurant. Everything was made fresh in front of me. I was offered a piping hot bowl of soup while I waited. I am very picky about Thai food, I typically drive over 45 min away to go where I like to go but decided to try this on a whim. I am so glad I did! I had the pan nang curry and it was hearty and delicious.

Food was not ready at the time they stated, no biggie, I waited an extra 5-10 mins, when I got home to eat my chicken pad Thai I noticed strips of chicken and then perfectly cubed tofu when I didn’t even order tofu??? Instead of filling it with chicken I got tricked with tofu.

I hate that they charge me for chicken and I got fake protein.

I was craving some Tai food and saw this place by my house. I stopped in and it was dead. The customer service was 10/10, while I waited the gentleman behind the counter brought me a complimentary house soup which was delicious. 5 minuted after waiting for my food another gentleman brought me a complimentary Chai Tea. The food was delicious and great portions too. This places deserves all of the recognition! A must try!

Order through Uber eats asked for no tofu extra green onions for my pad Thai order and literally they put tofu in it and no green onions. Usually pad Thai has green ions like crushed peanuts and spices, and this dish failed. It doesn’t taste like pad Thai, noodles over cooked, and it tasted really horribly.

Y’all this food is so yummy! This is my new favorite place to eat in the area. Everything is so flavorful and tastes fresh! Some of the absolute best Thai food I have ever had. They bring out house soup to start and it is the tastiest yet light appetizer. We also ordered the chicken egg rolls and they were perfect! Crispy on the outside with delicious chicken inside. It also a great sweet and sour sauce to go with them. I ordered the mild yellow chicken curry and I was so shocked with the first bite at how flavorful it was. The yellow chicken curry is my new all time favorite! My daughter got egg fried rice and it was again packed with FLAVOR! Lastly, we took a risk and ordered the sticky rice and mangos- most places we order this the mangos are frozen because they are out of season and it tastes like the sticky rice has been sitting in the fridge all day. BUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE FOR HERE. It was amazing. The mangos were fresh and the rice was sweet and warm. It felt like comfort food. It was a great way to end the meal. So glad I have a new local and delish place to take my family and eat!

Highly recommend! Went to lunch here with a friend and I’ve been hooked ever since. The Chicken Pad Kee Mao is delicious! Level 1 is just the right amount of spice for me but it goes all the way up to Level 5. SUPER FRIENDLY service every time I’ve visited. Food is piping hot even when doing takeout.

Absolutely love this place the food is great. I'm still working the menu going down the list, in the last half a dozen times I have ordered something different every time and haven't been disappointed, the sandwiches, the noodles, the soups are great you have to try it out. Very friendly and always making sure your getting what you want. I love the way you can always pick the heat on your food weather it's 2 or 5 . You got to try it. Enjoy.

Don't sleep on this place. In addition to delicious pad thai, they have a bahn mi that is out of this world. It might be a perfect sandwich. I could eat 10,000 of them and not get tired of it. It's jam packed with meat and veggies and has just a hint of fire from the peppers. My only note is that it's so full of mind blowing deliciousness it's a bit messy. But I'd still eat them for every meal if I could; you don't mess with perfection. There are a lot of places to get a Bahn Mi in the area, but there is absolutely no reason to, the best one you're going to find is right here.

The staff is friendly and cheerful while also being very efficient. Even when they're busy, orders are processed quickly.

Master Chef Kim can cook up simmer Great Thai cuisine. The service is super friendly. The cashew chicken is excellent. Don’t pass this place by.

After looking at other reviews, I decided to try the pork banh mi. It was delicious, fresh, flavorful. The ingredients are good quality, the portion size was generous and the prices are very reasonable.

I had the basil.dish with Tofu.and the Tom Yum soup. The flavor of the soup was yummy. I could have been satisfied with just the soup. They gave an abundante amount of tofu. Personally I prefer a lot of vegetables. The veggies were had límit's. I talked to the waitress and she said n3xt time I can ask for more veggies and less meat. They were very nice and the service was great. If you like the heat start with the number 3 level. You will be pleased.

My go to Thai restaurant. You can't go wrong with any meal and the lunch specials are a steal. Great vegan options as well. Try to go once a week for lunch. The staff are some of the friendliest people you will ever come across.

So, not as amazing as some of these reviews would have you believe. It's not bad, to be sure. But I've had way better. I got chicken pad Thai and the pork banh mi to try the "staples" of any Thai or Vietnamese restaurant. The pad Thai was good, but pretty sub-par compared to other Thai restaurants I've visited. The only vegetation was some shredded cabbage and carrot on the side, no peanuts or bean sprouts to be found. The noodles were unusual, not bad but not the typical rice noodle you usually get in a pad thai. Also, not much tamarind flavor. There is fried tofu though, which I appreciate. The banh mi was another unusual case too. Great flavor, plenty of meat and fillings, but the bread was not right at all. It was like a soft sub roll and not a traditional crispy, toasted baguette. Honestly if it was on a toasted baguette it would be an excellent banh mi, and a good price to boot. All told, I was pretty underwhelmed by the experience. I'm willing to try dining there again and try one of their curries and maybe the pad kee mao, but they could definitely be doing better. Also worth noting is their AC is busted or something right now, but that's not their fault so I don't count it against them. Order take-out until they get it fixed.

Stopped here originally to go to the place next door. It smelled amazing even from outside. I love pad Thai so I went here instead. It was well worth it. This restaurant popped up on google map when I searched for “banh mi nearby”. We ordered the pork banh mi and pad Thai with chicken. The banh mi looked like a loaded Philly steak sandwich that wanted to be a Vietnamese pork sandwich. The bread was a bolilo bread, the short puffy bread you get in the grocery stores, and not French bread/baguette. The pork was soft stir fried, not grilled, and was also quite salty and a tad sour? Odd. Garnished with a mayo aioli sauce, slivers of sweet pickled cucumber, and shredded carrots. They should remove this item from the menu, and focus on the Thai food.

Our pad Thai was decent. Servers were attentive and friendly. My fault for ordering Vietnamese in a Thai restaurant, but I was craving the crispy baguette and the grilled pork with fresh cucumbers and pickled carrots.

Within 3 days, I have eaten here twice. First day, I ordered Tom Kha soup with shrimp (med spicy). This is the closest 🇹🇭 Tom kha I have had since I was on vacation last year. This time, I chose the pad thai. Although the noodles were round, the flavor was remarkable. Thai tea is always on point, and the staff is friendly and unquestionably go above and beyond to make you experience at their restaurant welcoming. Must say this has become one of my top 5 restaurants and number 1 Thai restaurant.

Went here for lunch with my husband because there are so few Thai places in Pasadena. It was a wonderful little place. Excellent food, not greasy at all, very fresh tasting. Restaurant was clean and very cute. Service was amazing. We spent $20 and had plenty for a satisfying lunch and leftovers for dinner. We will definitely be returning here in the future!

We go here almost weekly now. Their food is incredible! Their Orange chicken is the best I've ever had! Tender chicken with the most perfect fried texture. The pad thai is amazing but be cautious on the level you choose. The shrimp is large and they dont skimp. The calamari is worth it and their thai coffee and tea is a MUST. Oh, and who can forget the house soup you get while you wait. Delicious and different every time! You won't regret eating here 😁

The best Thai Food in Deer Park area. The ambience is small but peaceful. The staff are very friendly. I had the Pad Kee Mao with Tofu Medium spice level and it was one of the best plates of Pad I have had. Will definitely recommend this place for going as a family or for a work lunch.

For those who loved the Thai Jasmine near Almeda mall. Guess what? This place is owned by the people who used to run the Thai Jasmine from pre-covid (before the taste changed). It was sooo good to see old faces again and to get to have that same great taste that I had seriously missed. Would give more stars if I could!

Thai Tea was excellent, and so was the fried calamari which seemed fresh and wasn't overcooked and chewy like a lot of places. Pad Thai and the Masuman (sp?) Curry were delicious although the noodles in the Pad Thai were a bit soggy. If you actually like spicy food the medium heat is what I'd call a true medium. Good spice but comfortable. All in all we would definitely recommend a visit and we will be back for more!

Me and my friends are on a journey to try every restaurant on the block and this was one of the bests! They answered any questions we had about the food and even had vegetarian options for my vegetarian friend! The house soup is bomb and when we asked what it had they made sure to say it had chicken broth so my friend won't accidentally eat it. The strawberry drink tastes just like a melted pushpop icecream and I can't wait to get more. The Fried Chicken Delight was perfectly crispy and the Pad Kee Mao noodles are excellent!👌

The tea was just okay but the food was seriously so good. The place was nice and clean and the people who work there are friendly. I didn't order ahead so the lady gave me a complimentary soup for my wait. The soup was delicious as well. If you haven't already you have to try this place!

I used to live in Austin and had a great Thai place that I’d eat at frequently. They had some of the best pad Thai that I had ever tasted. Well moving back home to La Porte, I’ve been searching for a great place to eat Thai and this place is it!!!! I can get my pad Thai spicy and it’s flavorful! This actually is the best thai restaurant that I’ve had, even better than in Austin! I love this place and honestly wish more people knew about it.

Excellent Tom Yum Soup . Appetizer and sample of their yellow curry which is fabulous. The service and cook was over the top friendly and welcoming. It was my first time to try this little Thai Restaurant. Will definitely frequent this little gem.

Small, casual restaurant with some of the best Thai food in Pasadena. Plenty of vegetarian options, as well as tasty bubble tea (and Thai tea, of course). I frequently get the yellow curry, and even though it's the lunch special the serving size is very generous.

This place has the Best Chicken Egg Rolls -Hands Down! They have been an obsession of mine since I found this Gem if a Restaurant. They are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. *sigh* you have to try them. The Spicy Beef Salad(pictured) and Chicken Satay are two more favorites of mine. You won't regret giving them a try!

Everything about Mai Asianbox is good from the name to the cuisine. My bahn-mi sandwich was hot and flavorful. The Taro tea was amazing. And the Chicken Egg rolls were so good, that I took an extra order to-go. They provide you a free cup of soup to enjoy while you wait also. I highly recommend trying this restaurant out if you like Thai or Vietnamese food!

Tried the yellow curry and the Thai tea, and both were delicious! Very generous serving and the level 2 for the curry was just enough heat for me. The service was great to top it all off. Definitely coming back to try the noodles.

Very delicious & fast service. Came on a Friday evening for dinner. Had the Pad Thai (combined beef & shrimp) mild & the Kee Mao (combined beef & shrimp) level 4, which was too spicy 🥵. I'd recommend a level 2 or 3 if you want spicy lol.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The service is great, the food is good, and it's close to work for me. They are very friendly and welcoming. I usually get the lunch special with red curry.

Highly recommend the tom yum ramen. It is delicious. Would love to have it every week!!!!!! The service was great and friendly. The price is cheap with a lot of food. Would love to give them more than five stars! Definitely be back!

Today was my first visit to MaiAsianBox which I found scrolling on google looking for something for dinner. Saw great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I ordered the chicken pad Thai, chicken satay, Thai milk tea, and not pictured-mango sticky rice.

To start, the Thai milk tea was exactly how I prefer it; nice and sweet. The chicken satay was fresh and the peanut sauce and cucumbers added depths of flavor. With the pad Thai I made a mistake by asking for a 3 out of a 0-5 heat scale. I embarrassedly could not handle it and was not able to eat it. My waiter went to see about getting an additional starch to numb the heat, instead the chef made me a brand new one that wasn't spicy. I felt very bad about it but I am impressed and commend the chef for doing that for me; it really meant a lot.

The mango sticky rice tasted great and was a great conclusion to my experience at MaiAsianBox. Customer service was friendly, engaging, and excellent, and I enjoyed talking to the employees before I left. I'm only in town for tonight but if I lived in the area I would come here weekly. Based off my experience, I would highly recommend MaiAsianBox to the local community and travelers such as myself.

We had the pad kee mao and the hot beef stir fry with mango sticky rice for dessert and everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere and friendly and welcoming, with attentive servers. I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes, five stars!

Love the yellow curry but make sure you can tolerate spicy otherwise ask for mild.

Delicious food! Got the red curry Mila and it was the perfect level of spice. They also have chicken egg rolls which a lot of restaurant don’t. I only wish they were open later than 8:30!

This place is simply bussin. My girlfriend and I stopped by to grab some lunch and we were actually blown away by how good it is.

We looked up Thai food nearby and MaiAsianbox popped up. We tried and loved their food! Their house soup was amazing and ordered a large soup to go! But what I liked most about our visit was that I ordered cashew nut with no onions and I got onions. I didn't complain because they were big enough to remove them. Our waiter then comes back a few minutes later with complimentary dessert! Wow! They didn't have to do that because I never complained about the onions. It was just plain courtesy! I love this type of service! I tipped our waiter 30% and left a very satisfied customer! 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Came in before class , not knowing what to get so i grabbed their Teriyaki banh-mi. While i waited i was given a complimentary vegetable soup which was surprisingly amazing! Shortly after i had my order and drove to school to enjoy my sandwich. I don't know what i was expecting but it wasn't this. Usually banh-mis are relatively dry, or at least the ones I've tried, but this one was extra saucy and in the best way possible. The first bite was an explosion of taste but everything could be independently tasted. The vegetables were crisp and fresh and the meat was flavorful and tender. Literally the best banh mi I've ever had to date. Will definitely come back. No photos because i never put the sandwich down lol.

We have finally found an amazing Thai spot! Everything was super fresh and flavorful. We tried as much as we could this first trip and can't wait to go back to try more. The staff is so welcoming and served us everything we needed plus some. Highly recommend!
