Down-to-earth cafe and bakery serving Banh Mi, desserts and Southeast Asian food.
Our visit to NG Café was an absolute delight! The fresh, crisp, and perfectly warm bread sandwiches were flavorful, with tender meats and fresh veggies! The complimentary soups were a tasty bonus, and we enjoyed the jasmine tea and coffee as well.
The cozy and welcoming ambiance made the experience even more special.
What stood out most was the wonderful service and hospitality.
We love supporting local, family-owned businesses, and NG Cafe were beyond our expectations. Meeting the owners was a highlight—they were kind and sweet. We enjoyed also hearing their inspiring business story, which added a personal touch to our visit.
We would love to come back and enjoy this gem again!
Wow! I absolutely enjoyed this quiet and relaxing cafe experience. The food was well prepared, flavorful and prompt, and the service was excellent.
I ordered the grilled pork signature sandwich and was very satisfied with the fresh, toasted baguette and mix of flavorful toppings. I also got the house dumplings, vegetable egg rolls and a simple mocha. The food was very tasty - the fried egg rolls had the perfect amount of crunch, the dumplings were nicely portioned and well prepared. The mocha was warm and just the right amount for my meal.
The service from the staff was great as they were very friendly and helpful. Duane helped us decide on our order and made great recommendations. Thank you for such a great brunch experience!
First time at NG Cafe and it met all expectations! The staff is so kind, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is bright and comfy, plenty of seating available. This place has a good vibe. I ordered the fried rice with beef and shrimp and it is delicious! Perfectly and generous amount of shrimp and beef! Also had the curry with chicken and it came with a bowl of white rice and hot and sour soup. My cousin ordered the rolls and she loved them! They looked amazing. I also had an order of a hot Vietnamese coffee, however it did not taste like it. Only tasted like regular sweet coffee. It wasn’t bad though, just not what I expected.
Nonetheless, I would definitely come back to this place! I’m excited to try more and different dishes!
100% recommend!
I saw their egg and xiu mai dish on social media and immediately had to race over to try!
Unfortunately the xiu mai was not authentic at all. It had a strong western Chinese sweet and sour flavor instead of the typical seasoning used in Vietnamese cuisine (fish sauce, chicken bouillon, etc) so that was a major disappointment. The texture was otherwise good and the egg was cooked perfectly. The bread was also crispy on the outside and light/fluffy on the inside.
We also tried their vermicelli dish which was an average dish. The meat wasn’t seasoned authentically and was missing most Vietnamese herbs and garnishes. The fish sauce leaned on the spicier side. I can see this dish being popular among people who aren’t familiar with Vietnamese cuisine, however I wouldn’t order it again.
We received complimentary egg drop soup and I must say this was the highlight of our meal - probably one of the best I’ve had :)
Food aside, I loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. The staff who brought out our food were super friendly. I have to say though, that the lady by the front counter who took our order was very cold and condescending - I almost wanted to leave with how rude she was but tried to overlook this since everyone has their bad days.
Went for brunch, and the food was excellent! It's a quaint place. I had egg drop soup, which is probably the best I've ever had. We also had spring rolls, which were great. My pork vermicelli bowl was delicious. Everything was fresh. I'm definitely going back.
Best banh mi in the Austin area.
The food is delicious!
We had their home style chicken noodles, pork belly bahn-mi and ribeye bahn-mi. Food was delicious and would definitely recommend this place. The place itself is clean and well maintained.
super cute cafe with great food. the husband and wife were attentive, kind, and friendly. I will definitely be back!
The food here is delicious. We had the Singapore vermicelli and pad Thai. They were both delicious and had plenty of flavor! They also have a station where you can get condiments and spices such as red pepper flakes for your food. The interior is cute and cozy. There is no traditional waiter service but they do bring you your food. It’s a great casual restaurant to eat good food. We will be back! I highly recommend
Ordered delivery for a lazy Monday night
Ordered veggie basil fried rice, one of the chicken flat noodles at a level 2 spice. It def has a nice kick.
Ordered the silken tofu dessert it's good, but it felt like it was missing something. The ube cheesecake is very good. I hope they sell the entire cake 😂 i will for sure be ordering again or even stopping by in person if I'm in the area
Got the grilled pork spring rolls and grilled pork banh mi with added pate and everything was delicious!! The stars were def the flavorful and juicy pork and fresh bread that had the perfect balance of soft and chewy/crusty. The sesame hollow bread was sooo delicious too and they gave us an extra on the house :’) can’t wait to come back!
Amazing food (especially friend rice) and amazing people! I find myself craving this place all the time.

Great food and coffee and shortbread cookies!! They gave complimentary soup too!
We ordered from here based on reviews and recommendations saying this is the best banh mi in Austin.
I was expecting more of a light crunchy French baguette with stronger pickled flavours. I was also disappointed by the jalapeño to provide vs chili peppers which is more traditionally used in Vietnamese cuisine.
I didn’t think the banh mi tasted anywhere near an authentic Vietnamese banh mi so for that, I cannot give it 5 stars.
I do appreciate that it’s a family run shop trying to share the delicious cuisine that Vietnam has to offer so for that, I recommend trying this place!
Owned by the nicest people, I’ve only tried their cookies and banh mi but it’s the best I’ve had so far
Best Pad Thai and crab fried rice. I’m a wimp and have to ask for 1/2 spice levels (they don’t skimp). Friendly older couple own and run the restaurant, will give me free sweet sesame bread sometimes too. Yumm. Ube cheesecake is delish. Need to try the lemon shortbread cookies next time I think.
Wonderful people serving excellent comfort food. Their baguettes are a must. Crispy exterior with a fluffy and chewy interior that reheats well the next day. The hot Vietnamese coffee with French butter is also a welcome treat as is their sesame bread. Very cozy and relaxing environment to share with loved ones. Will definitely come back to try more of their menu in the future.
Great cafe to get some classic vietnanese food! The curry with bread was really good, and everyone is so friendly here! They have a wide variety of delicious desserts to choose from as well, and quick service.
We had a wonderful early lunch here today! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and kind.
Lovely people and lovely food!! Awesome bahn mi!!
Amazingly good and tasty food in a relaxed ambiance, with delicious house-made desserts, too!
No wonder it gets a 4.8 rating on Google!
Perfect curries and sandwiches. This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in town.
Interior looks great since the remodel and the food is as delicious as always.
Love that it’s a family run establishment and the has such a cute vibe that reminds me of a European eatery. Great for date nights and the pastries are to die for! Highly recommend the taro cheesecake and the banh tieu. Also, can never go wrong with the banh mi!
So nice
Came here for a date night and we had a great time! The food was fantastic. I had Tom Kha Gai and my partner had fried pork Bon Mhi. Our meals came out promptly, the serving sizes were generous, and the flavors hit just right.
We also got a Yuzu and Thyme Lemonade and an Early Grey Tiramisu, and both were delightful. Delicate flavors balanced perfectly, rich but understated.
This was such a treat and we will definitely be back!
Their Banh Mi sandwiches are delicious, and they are served with soup . Their Thai tea is awesome too !
The food is fantastic! I highly recommend trying some of their signature dishes, the service was great and the atmosphere was very nice too! I will be back 💖
Wonderful family owned business. Homemade sweets and amazing food every time. Everything is full with love and it shows
This has been MY FAVORITE sandwich shop in the entire city for MANY years.
Wonderful spot to get some delicious Thai and Vietnamese food. The menu is just right and the food is so well balanced it feels like comfort food and service is good too. I recommend the soups and the ube cheesecake as well.
calm atmosphere, great service, tasty curry and sesame bread
Grilled chicken banh mi was delicious!
LOVE Ng Cafe! My entire office is in love, too.
Working my way through the menu. Have had and loved: pad see ew, shortbread cookies, grilled pork baguette, singapore noodles, drunken noodles, pad thai, vermicelli bowl. I consistently love the pork and tofu. My co-worker loves the beef - I like it but not as much as the pork. Also delicious are the shortbread cookies and lemon cookies. I hope to eventually try everything, but I keep going back to the pad see ew - it's so delicious.
Also of note: the owners are delightful and very friendly. A delivery service messed up and the owner called me directly to follow up. (Now I either pick up myself or use FB Runner City.)
Finally - if you like HOT and spicy, they can accommodate you. If you are not sure you can handle the heat, let them know. :)
Absolutely delicious! Was really craving a Banh Xeo and found Ng Cafe. I was blown away. The texture, quality, freshness, everything were perfect! Thank you so much for a delicious meal. So glad to have found my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. :D

This cafe is so cute and comfortable. I moved to Scotland 2 years ago and I've been really missing banh mi so when I came to Austin for a visit I looked around on Reddit to get some opinions. NG Cafe was suggested and they were close by so I went with them. I got the pork belly banh mi and it's one of the best I've had in Austin. The baguette was crisp, pork was juicy and well seasoned and the vegetables were fresh. I got crab rangoons because I had been missing them as well and found these to also be some of the best I've had. They weren't very oily but were still very crispy and the cream cheese to crab ratio was good and also flavourful.
I also got the banana bread pudding and the ube coconut cheesecake. The desserts are made in house and both were amazing and not too sweet.
This is a wonderful cafe and restaurant and I’ll be coming back again when I’m in town.
Yummy pad thai and egg drop soup :)
Staff is kind and friendly.
Definitely recommend. Just the buffet style salad bar is gone, but try crab fry rice, my favorites.
My family and me eat here often and we love it! The food is delicious and the staff are very welcoming and nice!😊
We’ve tried several dishes off the menu and they all have been delicious! As well as the dessert items, always a different selection and always amazing! Service is super friendly, quick with a cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
Five stars all around. Second time here and the food and customer service were great both times. I got the panang curry this time and general tso last time. Excellent dishes
So glad to have found this spot! Excellent food, best Vietnamese I’ve had in years. Super friendly staff and owner. Beautifully decorated, lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a cute spot with yummy Asian food! I loved my ribeye banh mi with pickled carrots, daikon, cilantro, jalapeño, and mayo. The house-made baguette had the perfect texture, and the meat was really flavorful. They offered a complimentary soup which I declined because I wasn’t super hungry, but I thought it was a nice addition. I’ll definitely be back for more banh mi.
best banh mi in city !
Wonderful people provide delicious and authentic Vietnamese food here. Whether you want to sit down and enjoy the ambiance or take out, youre guaranteed to have an amazing meal
I took a tofu basil fried rice just to try as it is my first time here. The taste is very good . I am going to this place definitely again
This is my top spot for Vietnamese in Austin. Absolutely worth leaving your “bubble” and making the trek to far north east Austin. It is on the border of ATX and Pflugerville.
The Pangang Curry is pure perfection. The Vietnamese egg rolls are excellent. I have to go back to try the Banh Xeo which has a turmeric and egg based wrap they call a pancake.
It is counter service and priced like a full sit down but since this is a true mom and pop run place the set up makes sense. It’s how two people and a good food runner / busboy can handle the crowds that come.
This spot is nestled in one of my favorite areas to get authentic Asian food in town - places can come and go because the locals in these parts are the native eaters of the cuisines that populate what is affectionately known as “Austin’s Little Asia”. For this place to be this packed in the Walmart parking lot that has become a foodie destination for those in the know - speaks to how good this place is.
This is a tough area to succeed and they are killing it. (Many of the authentic spots and the people who are native to eating them have been forced out of Austin altogether- this plaza is one of the few bastions holding on. Along with the better known but less diverse Chinatown plaza.)
Support this fantastic spot and you will get amazing food, support a true local business, and help keep Austin’s food scene more authentic and inclusive.
Clean, busy restaurant with great bread for their banh mi’s, but they don’t have very much meat on them. Pretty disappointed at the lack of meat. Keeps it from being good.
Complimentary soup, food was delicious, and the staff feels like family!! The atmosphere is adorable - I feel like I could spend all day here.
So good
This place is a real gem with such an inviting atmosphere. Great banh mi and soup. I also really liked the lemon cookies. Super friendly owners too.
I had the pork banh mi with veg. It hit the perfect spot of delicious and filling. Will be back for more!
Super lovely restaurant! Fresh baked bread was great and so was the curry and hot and sour soup. Oddly enough, I've had more tasty Vietnamese sandwiches (maybe these are more authentic?) but I still look forward to returning to this darling ambiance and trying more dishes, and those beautiful desserts!
First time at NG Cafe and it met all expectations! The staff is so kind, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is bright and comfy, plenty of seating available. This place has a good vibe. 100% recommend!
Ordered Vietnamese coffee and they gave half a cup??? Never coming again.
The vibes and the food and the service was amazing! I recommend this place to everyone! It’s the vibes and service that make it amazing.
Ribeye bahn mi, egg drop soup & ube cheesecake are all elite.
This is my go-to spot in the Austin area for Banh-Mi. Their bread is made fresh daily, their tofu is made in house, and their prices are incredibly affordable too.
Also, try out one of their desserts while you're there!
I literally love eating here. I try to go once a week. Me and my friends ate here all the time through high school and i still continue to go now that I'm in college. Food is amazing, its so peaceful inside, the workers are so nice and recently they’ve redecorated a little bit and it looks amazinggg. Best shrimp fried rice i’ve ever had i don’t eat fried rice from anywhere else but here! 😅 i always crave on Tuesdays when they’re closed though .
NG Cafe has truly mastered the art of Pad Thai. I ordered the Pad Thai with Tofu, and it was absolutely fantastic. The dish featured perfectly cooked noodles with a delightful mix of egg, bean sprouts, carrots, green onion, and peanuts, all tossed in a savory sauce that was just right—not too sweet or salty. Each bite was bursting with authentic flavors and freshness. The portion size was generous, and it was served promptly and with a smile. NG Cafe's attention to detail and quality ingredients really shone through. I give it a solid 5 stars and can't wait to return to explore more of their Thai and Vietnamese offerings. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious and authentic Pad Thai in the area!
I really enjoyed this little cafe! Great service, excellent food, and the hot and sour soup is so good. Clean, comfortable, easily located.
The food is good although not outstanding. It is more on the pricier side. Unlike what a lot of people said here, the owner lady made me very uncomfortable. She asked a lot personal questions, maybe because I am Asian. She was not friendly towards my son. Imposed a lot of rules while we were dining there - my son can’t sit on the sofa with shoes on, I can’t have the big to-go box and have to split my meal into two small boxes and she seems unhappy when the server eventually gave me a big to-go box and some plastics. Sadly, my experience with the owner lady made me think twice to come back.
Great food and the taste was 10/10.
Ordered the chicken fried rice had a great time
Very cute place and the food is amazing. This place has the best hot &sour soup along with many other items. They also make baked goods in house. Loved the Choco cookie dough cake.
Will certainly return for more.
Very friendly and nice staff. The service was quick and good! Ordered a Singapore noodle with tofu and a grilled pork banh mi. They were very good about not having egg in my noodles and answering questions about if there were meat or fish in the ingredients. Pretty good about letting customers know if an item is vegan or not. Very mom and pop shop with tasty food. Would recommend! Has a very chill and cozy atmosphere as well. Also good complementary soup according to my partner!
The perfectly hidden gem!
Part of me doesn’t want anyone to know about this place, but I really hope that they continue to do what they do best!
The food was perfect, the portions were perfect, the atmosphere was perfect.
The restaurant wasn’t too loud nor too quiet or lifeless either, the service was perfect, they weren’t overly talkative and attentive but definitely the right amount to feel properly taken care of!
During my meal for the first time, I even texted my brother to let him know about this place for the next time he visits me in Austin!
Do yourself a favor and visit with a friend, you’ll thank me later for it!
There are fewer vegetarian options!
Cute cafe. Wonderful food. Service is great.
Cozy, Affordable, and Average Fusion South Asian Cuisine. Yet again, I followed the Google rating for a Vietnamese restaurant in Austin. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, but the food was just about average. My recent attempts to explore some good Asian restaurants have failed... My foodie experience is being clouded by some bad Google rating! I was simply surprised how average the dining experience was at NG Cafe.
SO good. When they say spicy, they mean it, so be careful what you wish for. Stunning baked in-house baguette and other tasty goodies.
This family-run gem serves delicious banh mi made with fresh, house-baked bread. Their menu offers a variety of options at reasonable prices, and don't forget to check out their tempting dessert selection! Interestingly, the restaurant's name is a play on the owner's initials.
This place is legit
Great food and friendly service <3
Will definitely be coming back <3333
Favorite meal in Austin! The bread is fantastic and everything is spiced to perfection. Owner is so kind and lots of vegetarian options ✨
From the moment you arrive you are transported into a whimsical, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere and greenspace. Fresh food and daily baked goods and desserts leave your palet pleased with authentic fare. Thai tea is delicious and there are plenty of other Cafe options to choose from. An all around pleasant experience for your family. You wouldn't believe you were dining in a strip mall location. The owner provides excellent hospitality. Ng is one of a kind. The baguettes are incredible.
So good so fresh. Family owned love it will be back for sure.
Great place for bahn mi and noodle dishes. The food is healthy and very flavorful. Will definitely go back
Insanely good banh mi sandwiches on freshly baked bread. Delicious beef soup.
It’s safe to say we’re mildly obsessed with this place. Let’s just say we go once a week. The shrimp Banh Xeo and Pork Belly Banh Mi’ are my go to. The curry is amazing as well. My only complaint is the fact that the Crab in the Crab Rangoon's is non existent they’re just filled with seasoned cream cheese which is fine but they should change the name. The owner is always super sweet she has even memorized our order. Let’s just say I can be a creature of habit at certain places I dine at.
Came in with my friends to order some coffee at 11am. We were welcome by "At least you can buy a drink if you want to stay here" by an old guy, seems like the owner, while we were in line waiting for our turn to order. Do you want us to jump inside an make it ourselves? Or what was the expection to think we are not ordering? The lady at the counter and the young guy delivering the coffee were very polite. The atmosphere was clean and nice. Let's just keep the old guy with no hospitality where he belongs, IN THE BACK!
Hard to please husband liked the pork belly banh mi I got for him from here. The bread seems very fresh.
Love this restaurant and owners!
Yummy noodles. No chop sticks.
Amazing tofu banh mi!
The food is amazing, everything was great highly recommended the service was excellent
This is one of the few places that earned a 5 stars from me. Because the service was so friendly and attentive. Our dinner was fair price, its was very tasty and cooked to a very high quality with depth of flavor. It even comes with a free small tasty soup.
Make sure to try their baked goods. You will understand why.
It’s easy to see why this is an almost 5 stars restaurant.
Just like everyone else said in the reviews the owners are so kind and sweet. Went in last night with my wife and daughter. The food was so good and felt like I was just at there house and they cooked me the best home cooked meal ever!! I got off work a little late and didn't check the time they closed so we over stayed our welcome. But they were still so generous and didn't say anything. We left as soon as I checked the time. Sorry again!! But we will definitely be back on time next time. My daughter can be picky about food but she enjoyed everything. Thank you again!
This is the sweetest most affordable and delicious family run cafe, we loved it. Always feels nice to be served by the owner (and his wife makes the baguettes and his son makes the sweets!) what a dream
Cute, clean interior but their focus is the phenomenal food! So happy I randomly walked into this spot! The grilled pork banh mi and Thai iced tea were great!
Food was amazing. Got the Banh xeo, hot n sour soup, and two different banh mi’s. Best hot and sour soup i’ve ever had.
Found this place on a whim and it immediately became one of my favorite thai restaurants! The owner/front desk lady is always so sweet too. Always a 10/10 experience.
incredible vibes.
What a gem! The absolute best bahn mi in Austin! Plus they have espresso/coffee drinks now! And they give you a free cup of soup while you wait. Their new renovations also improved the atmosphere in a big way.
The owner makes her own bread everyday, in addition to the entire pastry case (don’t leave without a dessert)!!
I love going here for business meetings or when I’m meeting up with friends for lunch. Nobody I’ve taken here ever goes there and leaves unimpressed.
I love the pork belly bahn mi & her sesame sweet bread. The owner always recognizes me when I come in & memorized my order. :)
Best Banh Mi ever and great made in store baguette ! Owner is super nice as well
I just recently discovered this place through a friend and boy was I missing out. Everything about this place is amazing! The food, the people who run it, and even the ambiance. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!
My mom picked us up some food from here and came home raving about how nice the lady/owner was, so I could only hope the food was as good…I was blown away.
We got chicken pad Thai, green curry with beef, lemongrass stir fry, and some bahn mi sandwiches and everything was SO FLAVORFUL.
The subtle details, from putting a piece of cardboard in the bottom of a bag to better hold certain dishes, to the owner making the baguettes DAILY for their sandwiches, really put this place over the top.
10/10, we’ll definitely be back!!!
EDIT: I wrote this before finding out we got dessert. Their bread pudding is STUPID GOOD. That’s all 😂
Cute and relaxing atmosphere! Great food and service! Reasonable prices! What else do you want?
This place is so so delicious! And the family that owns it is the absolute sweetest. We visited NG Cafe on a chilly Austin night and this was the perfect atmosphere and menu for the occasion. We went with the turmeric pancakes, Tom Kha soup, beef drunken noodles and the pork belly bahn mi. We loved it all, but our favorite was the pork belly bahn which came on a homemade flaky delicious roll. We took up two tables for all the food we ordered (oops!). They have an amazing lineup of homemade pastries and desserts made in-house by the owner’s son. We ordered a slice of the cookie dough cake and it’s probably one of the best cakes I’ve ever had.
Do yourself a favor and grab the sesame roll while you’re at it(10/10). I cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Definitely give this place a try, you won’t regret it!
Delicious freshly made food to order.
The bahn mi and soft spring rolls are delicious. A was the vermicelli bowl.
Spotlessly clean and bright.
High quality, fresh food with a incredibly kind and attentive staff. I had the pork bahn mi and the pork was so juicy, bread was super fresh. I think this might be the best spring rolls I’ve ever had , tofu was perfect crispy and soft balance
NG cafe has become our go-to place!! We have started coming regularly with our little ones. It’s a super pleasant and aesthetic environment. (& comfortable with a kids!) The owner, NG, and her husband are so kind and personable. I love the yellow Curry and my husband loves the Pad Thai and grilled pork Bahn Mi. Everything is so flavorful. The bread is also perfect. I haven’t tried the desserts yet but they look precious like from a local bakery. I’m always so pleased with our experience here. There is also a lovely sitting area with couches and coffee table- everything is just so thoughtful. Highly recommend.
New favorite place! Got the grilled chicken Banh mi, egg drop soup, crab rangoons, and spring rolls. Everything was so great!!
5 minutes from Walnut Creek Playground/Trails behind Walmart. Enjoyed Vietnamese chicken fried rice, eggrolls, chicken & pork vermicelli noodles, eggdrop soup. Clean modern, order at the counter, family run, 6 tables & communal table. Hope to return soon for coffee & dessert options.
This place has the best banh mi I’ve ever had. If you want delicious food you gotta stop here.
Good vibe, sweet staff and the BEST egg drop soup I’ve ever had and it’s complimentary!
What an amazing cafe! We had the rib eye banh mi, lemon cookies and viet coffee and everything was so delicious! The owner was super sweet and really cares about her customers ❤️
There’s 2 parking spots for “Pick-up/ To-go” orders. I did Dine-in. Restaurant sits at the corner of a shopping strip. Parking is limited during lunch 11:30a-1:30p but I easily parked at the back side of Buffalo Wild Wings and crossed the small street.
I ordered the Banh Xeo (turmeric pancake w/ both pork & shrimp), it takes about 20mins to make. When eating, cut a piece of the pancake, wrap it inside the lettuce tight with carrot & cilantro then dip in sauce. While I waited, they offer 1st (small) bowl of soup for free, $1.50 for 2nd. I ordered the Hot & Sour soup which was very flavorful and not too spicy. I also ordered the coconut cream-filled (whipped) bread. The indoor vibe is calm with low, piano music playing, dim lighting, variety of plants and thoughtful decor. The service is quick & very friendly, always with a smile. I’m glad I found this place only 6 mins from my house, MUST try. P.S. I could hear the majority of people ordering Banh Mi and someone said the pork was amazing! I was in and out in 40mins.
Great Banh Mi sandwich (I had the steak), and the hot and sour soup was excellent as well. I highly recommend the lemon cookies for desert. The bread was crunchy outside and soft inside. My wife isn't a fan of the crunchy, but I am. Portions are large.
Such a wonderful restaurant in an unassuming location. Delicious Bahn Mi and Banh Xeo. The cookies are delightful. We also loved the stylish atmosphere of the restaurant. Well done all around!!
This place is wonderful! The Owner was working the counter and takes great pride in his menu with home recipes made by his wife who's making the food for you in the kitchen!
They both have lovely warm hospitality and make you feel very comfortable.
The atmosphere has great decor and amazing healthy plants throughout!
When you order an entree, it comes with your choice of the best egg drop soup I've ever had, or a hot & sour soup.
We ordered the Vermicelli with pork and it was very fresh and filling. We also ordered the ribeye Bahn Mi that we didn't want to end!
The customer service was great and they already have to go containers premade for you to take from the wall to the right of the counter.
You will love this place!
Found this place by accident and man was it well worth it. Was out with some friends and a Ramen place we were going to go was closed.
We'll definitely be back. Super friendly staff.
Where can I begin? 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This place is the perfectly priced, Mom&Pop shop you never knew you needed. My family and I eat here at least once a week. We have been eating here since 2019. The service is always perfect. The quality is always up to the highest standard. They recently remodeled, so now it’s a great chic, modern, small hang out. It has a coffee shop feel. You cannot go wrong with the Bahn Mi Grilled pork (served with jalapeño, cilantro, pickled carrots and a sweet/ lightly spicy mayo sauce) made on a FRESH baked French baguette. CHEFS KISS*
Thai tea is a must. Don’t forget to get yourself some soup, & did I mention, the desserts are made fresh daily in house. I recommend the coconut bread, the coffee cupcake, or the Ube Cheesecake 🫶🏻❤️. After eating here, your tummy will thank you. The food is just made with Love and care.
I cannot recommend this place enough!! Enjoy !!!!
Just came here for the first time and I gotta say… I love NG’s! It’s super close to my shop and is probably my favorite Thai and Vietnamese spot in the Parmer/tech ridge area.
Vermicelli bowl with chicken, 4/5 heat, was delicious - fresh ingredients, perfect level of spice for me (I like it hot) and perfect portion for the price. Complementary egg drop soup is also a nice touch - especially on a cold day!
I’ll definitely be frequenting this spot.
Amazing pad Thai and amazing curry! Super friendly service! 100% recommend!!
One of the best banh mi sandwiches in town, soup is excellent. Lately, hours have been inconsistent several times I visited and they are unexpectedly closed. The owners are always helpful and nice but the other waitress is always unfriendly and unwelcoming. I come here because of food quality is great but service needs help.
Excellent service and flavorful food
The only words I have about this place are positive. From the genuine care of the owners to the wonderful decor (and food!) this place is a must for anyone in the Pflugerville area
Cute Cafe with nice folks and great food. I especially liked the shaved pork in the Bahn Mi.
My new favorite banh mi spot! I finally tried this place and it was phenomenal!! I ordered the classic combo banh mi and shrimp spring rolls. Both were exactly what you want and delicious! I also dined in and they give you free soup when doing so. I opted for the egg drop and it was also delicious! The staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere was super unique and cozy, like a real cafe that you want to hang out in! Highly recommend this place and cant wait to try their other dishes!
Best Banh mi in town. Lady is so nice and restaurant is clean and we'll laid out.
Food is delicious
I visited this restaurant for the first time today and absolutely loved my experience! The restaurant is decorated so nicely and looks so cute. Customer service was incredible. The crab rangoons were SO GOOD 😍 I would come here again and recommend it to others.
Best Bahn Mi in Austin! My husband Adam has been a devoted customer for well over 10 years, and even though we moved from Austin we go out of our way to come here every time we return. Thankyou NG staff for always being friendly and consistently serving some of the best food and pastries around.
The atmosphere is quiet, lovely and relaxed. The owners are very kind and helpful when ordering. The bahn mi and pad thai is some of the best I’ve ever had! Love coming here! Don’t forget to check out their sweets selection! ☺️
soso food, the cake is good, friends like it
Best banh mi in town. The ingredients are really fresh and the meat is flavourful. I love the egg drop soup and Vietnamese eggrolls w lettuce 🩷 Owners are really kind too which is even more reason to keep coming back.
The triple threat restaurant, bakery, and coffee shop. The best banh mi I’ve had in Austin and where I like to have a delicious meal on the weekends.
My go to order is the classic banh mi but you can’t go wrong with any of them. Also did I mention how cute it is inside. Anyways can’t overstate how much I love this place.
Love this place!
너무 맛있습니다!!
To emphasize previous reviews, this place is not full Vietnamese food. It is a mix of Asian foods. I had their banh mi the first time I went, and it was okay. The second time around I had a vermicelli bowl with chicken and tofu. It was delicious!! I ate the entire thing. They recently remodeled, and it’s more welcoming and warm. The service is nice. The restaurant is very clean!
Such a delightful meal! A great taste of homemade food with very crispy bread and well seasoned entree items. The dessert is fantastic! It's a good environment to spend time with friends and relax.
NG cafe is a very sweet cafe and the workers are very kind. Their bahnmis and vermacellis are so delicious will 200/10 come back again!
This place is a hidden gem. The banh mi is made with freshly baked bread, great crunch, quality ingredients, and only $8-10. I come here pretty much every week and have tried almost every sandwich, the peppery shrimp is my favorite but they are all very good. Also love the ube cheesecake.
Customer service is amazing. I always see the same 3-4 family members working there and you can tell they care a lot about the customer experience. They are always so friendly and bring you a complimentary soup with any dine in order.
Wonderful food, great prices, relaxing atmosphere. I loved it!
Exquisite food. Beautiful setting. I haven't had Ban Xeo like that since visiting Vietnam. 11/10 excellent value
The woman at the counter was friendly and efficient, and the food (pad thai) is delicious! Next time I will try their dessert.
Edited to add: I came back and got the banh mi and silken tofu custard. I'll be coming back for that custard, it's the perfect amount of sweetness and such a silky texture.
Just went for the first time and got the Bahn Mi sandwich. I absolutely loved it and the environment of this place was very tranquil. Came back raving about it to fellow co-workers and now will be coming at least once a week .. Thanks!
This is my favorite place in the world. It only gets better and better.
Super delicious! Everything tastes like it's from scratch and very fresh. Even the complimentary soups were great. I can't wait to come back and try more. The interior is cute too!
Cute restaurant, with really good Pan Asian food. I had the pork vermicelli bowl with the complementary egg drop soup. The pork was well seasoned and the noodles were hot and fresh and really enjoyed the vegetable mix.
