I’ve been coming here for like five years and it’s hands down my favorite thai spot even though you can find cheaper ones. Went with my boyfriend and our server was a 17 year old boy but he was really awesome. My favorite things here are the monsoon rolls and the sun wrapped shrimp, so yummy. I always get peanut sauce with the monsoon rolls instead of the honey mustard it comes with. Not everywhere puts assorted veggies in their tom kha, usually they stick to just a few, but I dont mind it- they also use less coconut milk than other places so it’s a little less creamy, but still very yummy. Skip the seafood soup. Only complaint is that they charge $3 for a very small amount of peanut sauce, which I’m sure I could’ve gotten taken off but didn’t want to make a fuss.

Honestly not sure why this place have 4.3 review on google. Food wise extremely poor quality . I would say Thai box a small fast food place have some more taste to food. We order some type of noodles which extremely mushy and not even warm felt like warm up food Green curry was also similar with no taste and not even warm it felt more like microwave warm up .
Ordered sticky rice with mango which was ok but nothing special. Place was pretty much empty around 7:30

Great neighborhood hangout restaurant. The Crab & Cream Cheese Rolls are a nice blend of sweet and savory; the Green Curry and Pad Kee Mow are delicious. The Pad Thai is okay, but I find it hard to eat great Pad Thai outside of Thailand. The portions are big, but we saved room for the Fried Cheesecake with mango sauce, and it is quite tasty.

We showed up at 5 when they opened for dinner and were quickly seated with a party of 12. It was a little cold, but as the restaurant filled up it made sense why they started out cold since it was comfortable after awhile.

You must get the little sacks of Golden Treasure appetizer. They are amazing. Ideal for a party of 4, little shaped wonton satchels of curried filling with a delicious sauce!

I ordered a Mai Tai, which I will simply note was an average Mai Tai. Nothing wrong or exceptional. Another person at the table ordered a Mango Colada, which I think I would get instead on a subsequent visit.

And then I ordered the Volcano Chicken and was asked "Out of 1-7 how spicy do you want it?" and instinctually thought "Ahh, they've had too many foolish customers come in and say 10 and then it's too spicy and they have to remake it, so they've capped it at a reasonable level." So I proclaimed 7, and sure enough when I got it it was about as spicy as I generally make my pasta at home, which is pretty spicy, like about a medium salsa. So I would say if you LIKE heat, go with 6 or 7 and every other option is for people who like things mild. If I went again I might ask if they could do a 7+ or ask if the heat levels depend on the chef, because I have heard of restaurants where one chef's 7 is the other chef's 3. BUT aside from the heat aspect, the Volcano Chicken was very delicious. Would definitely get it again.

Owner was super attentive. Motinis are excellent. Loved the Thai Jerky. Everything we had was amazing!

Server had a magnificent memory. The Pad Thai was perfect, pad woo seen could have been better, it was in the past. Mango Salmon was other worldly.

Our fav spot to come for date night or lunch, the food is always good and the service as well. Great local spot we are happy to have right in the neighborhood.

Just moved here from San Francisco, CA and was hoping to find some good Thai food like back home and have to say I was disappointed at best. The food was not hot, no flavor, very bland, had the Took Took Chicken, peanut sauce had a grainy taste. The drinks were watery, the waiter was busy and our drinks sat at the bar for quite a while, even though the woman that made them could have easily brought them to us because she wasn’t busy, we were right next to the bar. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Spending $112 at this place and didn’t take more than one bite of my food says a lot. Issac our waiter was very nice though.

I found this place a few months ago and have been back about 7 times now. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. I tried a new dish every time I have gone and not one has disappointed yet.

I was charged for Thai iced tea even though I canceled it because it was too much milk and ice. The owner refused to come and talk to me. Poor service

Related to Thai cuisine nearby to me, this one has some of the best that I can get. While other places are not bad, this one I keep coming back to. If you like spicy, they can deliver a rather solid punch, but they can also prepare many of the dishes without the heat, and they are still rather good. My favorite dish is, hands down, the Green Curry.

We have had lunch here a few times, but this was out first time to have dinner here. It was nice- they even had fresh flowers on every table. The service was excellent, and the food was really delicious! It was a very good experience.

Frequent this spot often and realized I never left a review. We always get take out and the portion sizes are huge, food is always hot, fresh, and so good. Both locations I’ve been to have been the same in terms of quality and I’d recommend this to anyone.

This has been a go to place for years. The food is very tasty, and you can get your dish with any amount of heat you want. I very much appreciate this option, as I'm not one who likes my food to bite me back! Can't say enough about the hospitality from everyone you encounter. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for.

Quality of food wasn’t great. Ordered Lahd Na. Asked for a little extra gravy. The dish came out like a bowl of soup. What few noodles came in the meal were clumped together and broken up. Received the bill and there was $2 extra charge. Inquired about the additional charge, and told it was for the extra sauce. I just shook my head and said I only wanted a little extra sauce, not a bowl of soup. My friend was charged $6 for a little extra curry sauce, as she got very little sauce (probably 2 tablespoons at the most) in her curry dish and the chicken looked dry.

Best beef fried rice, pad thai, green curry, and chicken spring rolls! Good pad Thai is elusive and Silver Thai nails it!

I always have in mind "restaurant to come back or never come back" and even when the place has the potential to be one of the favorites, as soon as we come in, we felt an attitude from a lady who was our server this Monday 08.05.24

She wasn't rude but not kind that all, since she took our order it was really uncomfortable to ask questions, so we decide just ordering whatever. Specially because the menu was missing one of the more important parts in Entrées section. We were charged almost 8dlls for "2" jazmin tea, (she just brought a teapot with no flavor cause' it had only one little bag for 2 ppl)
We dont care to pay the price if the attention and food are good, but this time it was really a bad election. Maybe next time we will have a better experience if we change our server in case we have bad luck and have the sameone.

The place has gotten very dumpy. Heavy front door sticks, very hard to open. Entrance area filthy with debris on the floor. Bathroom garbage can had not been emptied in a while. Server was very pleasant. Food probably as good as it used to be but we couldn’t get over the lack of care of the things we could see and wondered what the kitchen looked like.

Disappointed in my last experience here!

I wanted to love this place, as it is in a great community. Unfortunately, we received the wrong item the first time we ordered (fried rice instead of pad kee mow) and the host on the phone only offered a free pad kee mow should I call back any other time (we called right when we realized the mistake, same night). I would have preferred to receive the correct item then, but that wasn’t really offered.

I called back a few weeks later, when I was once again craving pad kee mow, and the woman who answered the phone told me they “didn’t keep notes that long” and had no way to prove I was owed a dish. I offered to provide the time and date, but it was clear that wouldn’t be sufficient. I do understand things get lost/misplaced/forgotten, but I was not aware that the onus would be on the customer who received the wrong item. Also never received notice that I had a time limit to get my correct item. I recognize that we likely should have kept a better record ourselves, it felt like I personal promise that they would correct the original mistake, and my guard was down.

While I don’t think we’ll be returning, I do very much recommend the food and the ambiance! It is a great place, and I am sure most experiences are not like ours. Wish I could have rated higher!

I only used takeout while I was there for a conference. It was really good. And, they were knowledgeable enough to steer me to what was gluten and dairy free.

I highly recommend Silver Thai Cuisine in Allen, TX. The food is always good. They have a variety of spice levels that suits my fussy family. We have had large groups and just the 2 of us and they easily accommodate both. Never had a bad meal here.

10 dollars for stinky lettuce only salad no others vegetable can be found except 3 bits tomato, 3 pfcucumber and hardly any carrots.The salad stinks this is robbery. Will never order from this place again.

This is the worst Thai I have ever had. I ordered the yellow curry, it’s nothing close to Thai curry, just big pieces of chicken and potato in a soup and the taste is just horrible. I just wasted my money, I will never ever go back and won’t recommend at all. If I have an option to give negative review, I would do that.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Probably the worst thai food I ever tasted. Their yellow curry have only blocks of chicken and lage pieces of potatoes. Drunken noodle came with absolutely nothing, just noodle. First time I saw thai curry or noddle without any veggies. We threw away $30 worth of food.

We experienced a delightful dining occasion characterized by exemplary service. Chad demonstrated exceptional attentiveness, and his culinary suggestions proved to be delectable. The Tom Kha soup featured an abundance of chicken and mushrooms in a superb broth, while the Sizzling Seafood was both fresh and enjoyable.

Ordered Green Curry for ToGo and was asked what spice level out of 1-7 and I choose 6. Tbh it felt like 2 and tasted sweet more than spicy, its not bad but definitely not great either. Had much better ones at other places, restaurant looked nice though maybe worth the money if you are dining in but not for togo.

My family has been coming to Silverton for many many years. It’s always been one of our favorites. The owner is great and you always feel welcome there. The young man that was our server last night was excellent as well. I have a lot of favorite dishes at Silver Thai, but I’ve never gotten any of the curry dishes before. Last night one of us got the red curry and the other the green curry and we savored every single bite. It was so delicious And the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Last night’s meal was the best curry I’ve ever had. I also love their monsoon rolls. The sauce is amazing and such fresh ingredients.

I've enjoyed Silver Thai (Allen) for several years. Love having this option in our neighborhood. Always friendly and timely service. I'm not a spicy person, but I enjoy getting the Pad Thai (mild) with chicken and glass noodles. They also have a lunch menu that I like to take advantage of!

We’ve been going here for many years but recently the taste has dropped. They've made mistakes to our orders several times and also lost a delivery and tried to blame it on me.

A perfect dining experience! My pineapple fried rice was really good. This is the first time I have had Thai food, but my brother and wife come here often.

The food was amazing as always but it was like a ghost town, server only came to get orders and bring food the check was no where to be found for drink refills. But still 100000% worth going again, the Tom Kha soup is perfection.

The food was all delicious, delivered in a timely manner, organized, it was beautiful. Fun hack for large group ordering: in the special comments section, write the person's name-it makes giving out orders much easier because then they write it on the container.

Dined here previously and it was great. Ordered take out and it wasn't that great. Wouldn't consider it to be authentic Thai. Spice levels were not what we requested. Not much Spice at all. Green beans in the curry tasted frozen.

Silver Thai remains a comfortable, non-stuffy, non-fast-food place for a good Thai food meal. The service is good and the booth seating is comfortable.

We made it again in Feb 2023. The food was again good but the service not so. We ordered a big bowl of soup and fried rice. After finishing the fried rice we had to wait 10 min for the soup to come. On checking we were given the reason that they ran out of big soup bowl :(

We went in to pick up food because we didn't enjoy our in-dining experience the first time but we still wanted to try to support the restaurant and try more of the menu. We could hear the owner yelling in the kitchen. He even came out and yelled at the front of the house in front of a long line of people picking up their orders.

Great place to eat, fantastic service, delicious food, and they don't water down the drinks. Go there more than a couple of times and you'll be on a first name basis with the owner. Haven't had anything on the menu that I didn't enjoy.

My favorite Thai place in the USA!

3 stars bc my dish tasted amazing!!! However, I had a soup with shrimp and got VIOLENTLY ill less than 1 hour after eating. Worst food poisoning I've ever had!!! May be a while before I go back.

I have been eating here since 2012 and the food and service has been consistently amazing and the portions are a generous size. Everything is delicious. The Thai beef salad, green curry, bags of gold, pad Thai, Thai fried rice... You name it, it's good. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The curry options are so good but even so they are out done by some of the other options like the tom kha.

Food was good but after we paid the server and manager kept staring at us from across the restaurant and it made us really uncomfortable. I wish I knew what they were saying

The food was really good. I got the Singapore chicken. Number 4 level. Had some heat.

This is one of my favorite places. They have crab and avocado egg rolls made with real crab meat when they are not sold out they are so good. Their Tom Yum is the best I have probably ever had. I also love their Red Curry Fried Rice. Basically anything you order here is very tasty and has generous portions that is worth every dollar.

Had dinner here last night with my bestfriend right before they closed. Was disappointed they didn't have any of the 4 Pinot Noir options available but the food was great and our server was awesome! Will definitely be back.

All of a sudden I felt like having beef and broccoli. With no Chinese food nearby I decided to pick some up from Silver Thai Cuisine. Big mistake. The Beef was tough and chewy and portions were small. The store also charged a convince fee!? and didn't include napkin/fork/or spoon. I will not order again.

Located this gem by accident. Landon was amazing. He was the most attentive server I have encountered in a long time.
The lettuce cups were very fresh and a large portion. The green curry was spot on. Very flavorful and quite filling. Glass noodle Pad Thai was extremely flavorful. The last dish was beef stir fry and was told it was extremely delicious.
We look forward to a return visit.
