First time here and hands down so good! Last best place I’ve tried was Weera Thai in China Town for Thai food. But thankfully Thai Connection is way closer so my family and I have another option! We ordered the beef salad, tom yum soup, fresh spring rolls, and Thai fried rice. We wiped our plates clean! And the green tea ice cream was so smooth. Highly recommend this place. The aura is also so nice!

I wanted to cancel my food order but they were not available. I get that things get busy but the pick up online says it was ready. No apology. If they did, I missed it. Just really annoyed.

Nice restaurant with top notch food. Menu is incredibly extensive with a full selection of sushi and Thai dishes. I have no idea how they stock that much food for so many dishes. Kids ordered sushi (dragon roll, double tuna roll) while the adults ordered Thai food. Pork panang curry was excellent. Also tried the combination fried rice and the pad cha - outstanding. Had to ask for the hot sauce pots, but they were happy to bring them out. Would definitely come back.

Service was a touch slow. If you're not eating family style, it's best to eat whenever your dish comes out as it was quite awhile between dishes. They might have been short staffed as we were there a few days before Christmas. They were super friendly though.

My wife and I came back to try this place again. I got the usual pineapple fried rice and my wife got the drunken noodle. Dessert fried banana with vanilla ice cream. Food was excellent. Service was ok. Definite recommend to try. They do have a sushi side also. Will try that next time.

Excellent Bento!!! Family run establishment that takes care of their store and the patrons. We came in for bentos and were not disappointed. Nice clean decor, great friendly service, and great food. What more can you ask? Even the price was great for a dinner meal. . . I love it!

The workers are so nice, but i am truly struggling to eat each bite. I love an asian cusine from pho to sushi to pad thai, but the rice was my only favorite part. I was clinging to it to clense my palatte after each bite. Eggrolls were soggy, miso soup tasted worse than the costco version, and the orange chicken was so sweet i thought I was eating dessert. So sad because they had such great reviews.

Let me start by saying my wife is Thai. I love Thai food, but being the strong and independent woman of color I am, I cannot go to an Asian restaurant without seeing if they have a bento box. Bento to Americans is like the Lunchables of Japan. It consists of teriyaki chicken or katsu beef, salad, California roll, veggie/shrimp tempura, and rice. It also comes with this little green blob of hate and regret called wasabi. It's about as safe as you can get for white people too scared to venture out past the norm. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Service is great, the atmosphere is adequate and quaint. The ONLY issue I have is that it is a bit overpriced for what you receive.

This is become our favorite little weekend place to come for lunch. We love Japanese and we love Thai food and it’s always a tough decision to decide what to order. Everything is excellent. Service is on point.

I had a notably poor experience at this restaurant, where the staff showed preferential treatment towards older, white customers. As we were leaving, they pointedly ignored us, a stark contrast to their farewells to other patrons. Despite sharing our meal, they awkwardly inquired about separate checks. My order was incorrect, and the server, feigning misunderstanding, was unapologetic and demanded extra payment for their error. The sashimi was substandard, and the Thai dishes too sweet. A friend suggested that berating the server might have elicited better service, as observed with other more confrontational customers. However, I prefer civility over confrontation. This review is my response to the unwelcoming atmosphere we faced.

Please add just one more person to the Friday night shift. The food was good, the staff was very nice but very rushed as well. Empty water glasses and dirty dishes stayed on my table way longer than I think is acceptable. Just one more person would make the world of difference giving customers much needed quicker service and the workers much needed help. Atmosphere was great with good bass music.

I was in the shopping center and my husband suggested I order some food Togo seeing as how I’m the only one in my family who enjoys seafood. Staff was very kind and welcoming. My order was ready in 15 minutes. The dragon roll I ordered was delicious!!! As well as the scallops. Food was fresh, presentation was great I Will absolutely return and would recommend!!!

Very disappointed in my lunch special. Got the Pad See Ew and typically it is made with chinese broccoli, in this case it was regular broccoli...huge difference. That was the start of the bad meal and it only got worse, as the Pad see ew noodles werent separated and clumped together and not flavorful at all. Would not recommend. My companion had a fancy roll that he enjoyed. He also got the bento box chicken, the chicken was good while the ponzu sauce for the vegetables was terrible.

Ruby curry and rice soooo good. Thai tea amazing. Inside is clean and attentive. The chef is super nice :) Many tables and not squished. Nice semi dim lighting. To get the food was fast within 15min. My food was for takeout.

First time here. They do both sushi and Thai food very well. Nice for our family.... Something for everyone. The sushi was fresh and delicious, the Tom kha was spicy and yummy and the mango sticky rice was very good. The service was great.

This place is amazing. The sushi rolls were great, not the best I’ve had but excellent so a 4 star but I’m adding an extra star because this is one of the few places were you can actually get real wasabi - ie fresh grated wasabi root. 99% of sushi restaurants pass off green colored horseradish as wasabi (if it’s a dry paste like consistency then it’s horseradish which tastes similar but it’s about a 50 times cheaper than real wasabi root which ground fresh and has different consistency and packs a bigger kick and distinct aftertaste). You need to ask for it but they have it!

The scallop and shrimp ruby curry was on point. The fresh shimp spring rolls!! Really good!

The food is great, but you guys have raised your prices way too much. It used to be affordable and would come almost twice a week, but now I never go because of this. Also, you need to update the prices on your online menu. Very misleading for any new customers.

My honey wanted soup, and I wanted a sushi roll. This place was the perfect spot for us. He got the Tom Ka soup- perfectly balanced, great presentation, good portion. I got the out of control roll. Really yummy and totally hit the spot. The jasmine tea with free refills were perfection on a cold night. Really nice atmosphere, and very attentive service. I will definitely be back.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated, clean, and welcoming. They have so much to choose from as well as a lunch menu and daily specials. We all ordered items and shared. I ordered the salmon roll and the salmon was fishy tasting so that wasn't pleasant at all. We also ordered the prime rib entree and it was delicious. The sauces it came with were unique flavors and I was dipping and then poured it all over the huge pile of ribeye,cooked to perfection. The ribeye was juicy & the best I've ever had at a restaurant. We ordered appetizers: Eel rolls, wings, & cream cheese wontons. The chicken wings were also the best I've ever had and it was to die for; tender juicy and coating was beyond delicious. I didn't eat the wontons but they said they were good and ate them all. The eel rolls were eaten by the fan of eel & he said they were good but pricey. I told him we don't have much eel around LV 😂. The wait time was long but we were patient hoping the food was worth it and weren't disappointed. I couldn't drink because I was the designated driver, but I would've loved to because the prices were reasonable. We paid $96 for 3 main courses & 4 appetizers. I would definitely come back here again, & again. So much to try.

Sushi is awful, the rice was very watery, they’re using the wrong type of rice. The meat was not fresh either.

We found out this place 2 years ago. We love it. Tom yan and the Pad Thai are just so delicious.

The service was amazing for a place that was FULL to the brim and short staffed. You could tell the workers were overworked, However they still treated every dish and person who walked through the door with care and love. They were tired, but friendly.

The patrons who were seated in a booth in front of me were rude and obnoxious. The old white dude and his mean wife threatened to give them a bad review. He was upset that he had to wait and even snapped his finger at the waitstaff (unfortunately bad reviews from bad customers are a thing on Google/Yelp) he even sent back a dish that looked amazing, but "it smelled funny" .... I don't want to waste any more time on this awful couple who treated people with a certain disdain for respect and human decency... but again, it is something this place needs protection from.

We ordered from the Thai and Sushi menus. Everything was delicious. The fish used for sushi was fresh, tasty and bright. The Thai food was full of flavor and a perfect amount of spice.

If you are in Henderson, I highly recommend this place. It was worth the wait and I hope they get more people to work for them. I would give the whole experience a 9.2/10.

Visiting from Seattle looking for an Asian restaurant my husband and I could decide on. Sushi and Thai? Are you kidding me? Yesssss!!!
First off, staff was very inviting and friendly. Ambiance was festive. We were visiting for Christmas. They had classy jazz to set the mood.
We had tempura vegetables, pad thai, and pineapple fried rice. The pineapple fried rice has a bit of kick to it, but just the right amount. I wasn’t sure how pineapple, tomato, and raisins would work out with the spices, but they all did!
All were delicious and at a great price. Obviously we’re not paying strip prices this way, but everything was great.
Also, we mentioned it was our daughter’s birthday, and the staff came out to sing and offer her dessert.
We will make it a point to eat here every trip.

Pleasant ambiance, huge selection of Thai and Japanese sushi. Great service, music, and food food. Will return for our weekly outings.

Found this gem and it was much better than expected. We went off hours so the service was quick and the food was fantastic! One of the best Thai places we've found and would highly recommend it, much better than Lotus of Siam (in their new location).

Friendly, average quality, slow service for pickup. Arrived 5-10min after they told me to, to give enough time (on a Wednesday) and still waited another 15+ min. They were apologetic, and friendly. Looked like it had nice atmosphere.

This place has two full menus, one for Thai food and one focused on typical sushi restaurant fare. My girlfriend and I ordered the Pink Milk, Thai Iced Tea, Edamame, Sushi Escalator Tower (Spicy Tuna), and Spicy Chicken Bento box.

It's all a substantial amount of food for the price and we had no complaints. I look forward to coming back!

WOW!! I eat a lot of Thai food and sushi all over the country (I travel for work every week), and this is arguably the best I’ve ever eaten. The sushi is SO fresh and very beautiful presentation they clearly put a lot of effort in to make it look as high quality as it tastes. The red curry I think may also be the best I’ve ever eaten! It was served bubbling hot in a dish with a little fire underneath.
I don’t live in Las Vegas but I may have to relocate just so I can eat here more often. Very generous portions and reasonable pricing, warm atmosphere with nice jazz, extremely clean. I am a customer for life!

Very disappointed. Brought my family in for Father’s Day. Only one other table, very slow for the customer service we received. Walked to our own table. Waiting for 10 minutes before server coming, no guidance on the menu, server was unaware of items. We never got waters. It was a questionable service for it to be empty. Pass, we left to another spot.

So happy to have found this spot! Had a great meal with a friend. We had Gyoza, Chicken Chow Mein, a few sushi rolls and cheesecake/sticky mango rice for dessert. Everything was so good, service was great. We will definitely be back.

Everyone there was great except our server. She ignored us the entire time and just checked on other tables around us, forgot to put in some of our order, and barely talked to us when we did flag her down. Like I said, the rest of the staff was very nice. The ikura was good, and it's a cute little restaurant. Might try the place again if that server isn't there.

We’re California Natives who recently moved to Vegas and have had trouble finding a really good Sushi spot and this place blew out spot in California out of the water.
The customer service is excellent, the food is not only delicious but the presentation is amazing. The restaurant has a very calm and mellow ambiance. This place is the literally definitely of a Hidden Gem.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Japanese dinner we had here. I would be happy to come back and try their Thai offerings. The interior was like a cozy Thai Starbucks and the staff were courteous and friendly. Our meals of soup, tempura, nigiri, and rolls were tasty and filling. No complaints at all.

I found my sushi place in Las Vegas. It is very clean and has friendly service. The presentation of the plates is great. prices are also reasonable. what more could you want :) I think you should definitely try it.

Daughter and new son-in-law love sushi, we do not. Was able to satisfy all of us. Husband had whole fried pompano, kids had sushi and I had a Bento box. All happy with our choices. Have gone back many times and have enjoyed it. Actually arranged for a meetup there and everyone enjoyed it. Prices reasonable, food great and service great. What more can I say.

Stopped here randomly for lunch right next to post office. Host and waiters very friendly. Love the decor of the place. Very cozy. Menu is big with lots of options. Sushi was good. The Thai mango sticky rice tastes amazing. I would definitely suggest everyone try this traditional Thai dish. Would definitely come again.

We ordered sushi takeout a couple weeks ago from this place and I just can’t stop thinking about how good it was! We tried a couple of appetizers and 3 rolls, including the monkey brain roll - which from its description sounds weird but the flavor was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back to try more sushi rolls and maybe some of the Thai dishes!

Clean and enjoyable environment. They are respecting and keeping to pandemic protocols. I did not prefer the sushi as much but good presentation. The delicious pad see ew and pan nang curry was the main show and prepared very well. No photo as we forgot and got too excited and enjoyed every bite. The sticky rice was a nice touch to a wonderful meal and helpful staff. I would highly recommend and we will be coming back again.

Where to begin. Well I have been here several times already. And always something. They never serve my table properly. They only serve one person and make the rest of the table wait 25 to 35 minutes. And when I come with one person. It's the same horribly service. Sushi is never consistent, the taste is never consistent. I gave this place four chances. NEVER again will I go here. After yesterday. I got served 35 minutes after my dinner date. And when we got home we were both sick.. another thing you shouldn't have a child running in and out of the kitchen with no hair net. Even more soo you shouldn't have a sick kid running in and out of the kitchen.

The place looks nice and clean. Service was good. Everything we ordered tasted delicious! We had items from both the Thai menu and the sushi menu. The only thing that I noticed is that they charged us for an item that was supposed to be free with an order over $20. Our total order was way more than that.

chef and food are actually good, but we have been there twice and the service speed has been awful. the first time we walked out because after 15 long minutes we were never helped or acknowledged. we gave them another chance and this time, after we finally got the food, we never saw any worker again for nearly half an hour. another customer actually walked into the kitchen to look for someone to help them!
they have some MAJOR issues to work out but there is potential here if they get someone who knows what they are doing to run the place.
otherwise, they won't be around very long.

When I came and picked up my sushi order, I thought the portions were tiny compared to what I was paying. When I got home and ate, the sushi was delicious, fresh tasting, and filling. I'm glad I was proven wrong. I look forward to trying their thai dishes next.

This is an excellent new restaurant in the Trader Joe's shopping center on Sunset and Green Valley. It used to be an Italian restaurant that had been there for years and the space was dated. The young couple who own this Thai restaurant did a complete and beautiful renovation and it's a colorful and comfortable modern eating place. Great food and innovative sushi presentation. The owners and staff are pleasant and welcoming. The large windows in the front let in plenty of light. Love their Pad Thai, the Tom Kha soup and great appetizers. Nice comfortable spot to sit and sip Jasmine tea etc. We've been here several times for lunch and it's not been crowded, but it should be! Try this place. There are so many Thai restaurants in town, this one deserves to make it!

Good Sushi, now I have to come back to try the Thai food.

Have been the place twice already. The folks go the extra mile. For the same price you would pay at any other hole-in the wall place, you get a pleasant dining experience, attentive servers, superior presentation, and higher quality of cuisine. Try a few of their Happy Hour selections if you want to drip your toe in and then pick any of their main selections.

This is so far my favorite sushi place! The presentation on happy hour plates was impeccable. MUST! MUST! MUST!

Can't figure out the negative reviews. Everything about Sushi Connection on N. Green Valley Pkwy. and Sunset in Henderson is fantastic. Wanted to try it out, since it's fairly new, and was not disappointed. Had a luscious soup on a cold day and it really hit the spot! Loved the kind, quick service and pretty, immaculate setting. Will definitely be back for more of everything (what a menu!) Prices aren't bad, either. The soup I had was generous, with loads of fresh, yummy veggies. Just what we needed in this area.

We had an excellent meal last night with super friendly and helpful service. The menu is incredibly extensive and we can't wait to go back and try more sushi rolls, curry, fried rice, etc. We settled on Bento Boxes last night and they did not disappoint!

Quality fish with beautiful presentations! Love all the different options in the menu from Sushi to Thai, you can't go wrong. If I could give Connection more than 5 stars I would! Definitely will be making this my go to sushi restaurant. The decor is beautiful and welcoming, makes you feel like home. The service was amazing!

Food was good. Service was so so.. But since it's been open only 3 weeks I'm sure the service will get better.

This place is awesome! Incredibly friendly service, two different dining areas to dial in your experience, and a super clean space. Sushi AND Thai in the same place! Everything was top notch. The lobster Pad Thai was possibly one of the best Pad Thais I have ever had anywhere in the U.S. The value is fantastic here as well. 2 of us dined for 47 bucks including tip and we ate 2 entrees, 2 rolls, an appetizer and tea. I can't say enough great things about this place. Thank you for a great experience.

The recipes are authentic the food is delicious...staff is courteous and service is quite swift....thoroughly enjoyable!!

I had visited this place on a wim while dropping off some mail. After going through the menu I decided on picking up a chicken katsu bento with a set of mix tempura. I enjoyed the meal but I find it lacking in quality. The chicken was just ok and at the level of L&L Hawaiian katsu. The bento came with a California roll which was good nothing bad about it. The tempura was really heavy almost like breaded chicken and not a light crispy taste you get from panko.

All in all it was just ok. Would I recommend it? Maybe if I'm in the parking lot doing some other errands in the shopping center.

Great food, loved the service!

What an amazing new restaurant! We visited for lunch on one of their first days open and found that they didn't have sushi available yet, but said they would be serving sushi in the coming days. This did not detract from the experience however, since the Thai food was delicious! We shared the lobster pad thai, and vegetable tom kha soup. Both dishes were fantastic!
The interior is new, clean, and modern. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We can't wait to visit again soon to try the sushi.
I absolutely recommend this restaurant.
