Diner Review №4

so delicious and yummy! What a filling with great service. Get the pad see ew!

Diner Review №5

Whenever we are up in Houston, this is our place to go for Thai food. Been to many, many restaurants, and this one has the best fried Vietnamese egg rolls by far! Sometimes we come here just for the egg rolls!

Three of my favorites are the spicy basil with chicken, chicken, sautéed with garlic sauce, and the chicken sautéed with fresh ginger. My wife’s favorite is the bun noodle with beef.

The staff is friendly and the service is always quick!

Diner Review №6

Awesome food little restaurant and my family loves to frequent there awesome service and servers who actually care about your satisfaction if they can feed my picky family they can feed anyone! Awesome tiger cry and drunken chicken

Diner Review №7

Loved it and will return because the food is just delicious and very reasonably priced.

Diner Review №9

Great late night experience after seeing a play at the Main Street Theater just down the street. Beef drunken noodles and chicken panang curry were both excellent and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed having them. Drunken noodles was a really big portion, too. Will definitely visit again.

Diner Review №10

Forced to give a 18% gratuity in the check. Poor service and they jusg bring ghe check to the table without asking for itm

Diner Review №11

The dishes were on the saucy side, which i don’t mind at all. But some may find it a little salty. I personally liked them. The servers are nice and friendly.

Diner Review №23

I want to give a special shoutout to Ms.Nori and Ms.K, for making our dining experience truly memorable. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor enhanced our meal and made us feel valued guests. I was impressed by their commitment to going the extra mile. Ms.Nori and Ms.K, is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations I particularly enjoyed the yellow curry which was cooked to perfection and had a delicious flavor. If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. We only have good comments about the food. I can’t wait to come back again! BRAVO…The best Thai Resto in Houston Texas.

I ate here almost every week during undergrad, and now 8 years later I always come back when I’m in H-Town. Absolutely unbelievable Pad See Ew. The service is outstanding.

A staple in Rice Village! The food is great and super fast. The workers are super attentive as well. I love the Tofu Pad Thai

Diner Review №43

A truly great dining experience. The service was terrific. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Food was delicious. I recommend the chicken pad Thai.

Diner Review №44

This is my favorite restaurant. I have been coming here for years. Everything is delicious and the service is excellent. The chefs also cook extremely quickly if you’re looking for a fast meal. The workers are all so sweet and attentive. My favorite dish is the pad see ew and the red curry.

Diner Review №45

Service was great, our waitress was very attentive. We got there before they opened, but they were kind enough to seat us. Food was great, we got spring rolls and chicken pad Thai. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

Diner Review №46

We have been coming here for years. Great food, great service. Highly recommend Tiger Cried and Pad Ped with shrimp.

Diner Review №49

The food is GREAT, and the service AMAZING 👏 🫰

Diner Review №50

I love this place!! The food is delicious and great service.🫰🏽

Diner Review №51

Good food, prompt and friendly service, and a fairly mellow atmosphere, had a very nice dinner here with friends.
Neither more nor less expensive than any other Thai restaurant in the U. S. these days, cold Shiner Bock for $3.95 was nice.

Diner Review №52

Best Asian place in Houston.

Diner Review №53

Nam Sod with chicken is my favorite dish. So so yummy. This is my first time coming here. Great food, great service. Surely, i will come back for trying other dishes.

Diner Review №54

There customer service was off the charts and it made me feel like I was welcome

Diner Review №55

Literally my favorite place to eat. I've never had a bad dish. 🤌

Diner Review №56

Very friendly staff and the food was so delicious

Diner Review №57

Great food! We are definitely coming back!

Diner Review №58

I have been going to this restaurant for years now. The food… I am telling ya. It’s amazing! Absolutely one of my favorite place to go to eat. I moved to Austin a year ago but when I have a chance to come back here I always visit this restaurant. I highly recommend it! 🫶

Diner Review №59

I come to this restaurant often and I love it. The food never disappoints and the server is always so welcoming and she has a beautiful smile.

If you have not tried them please do so and support the small businesses.

Diner Review №60

Bad experience won’t be going here again.

Weird staff

Smelt of bathroom

Soggy over cooked food

Diner Review №61

*Raw Pork!* Walking in the place had a strong odor of the bathroom. I ordered the wonton soup and when I bit into the wonton there was pink raw pork inside. I let the waitress know and she snatched the plate up and before I could say anything she told me the kitchen would make another one. At the end of the meal I received the bill and see they were trying to charge me for the wonton soup! I asked to not be charged, because of the raw pork I almost ingested and bit into, and she told me next time I need to tell her not to remake it before hand to not be charged. HELLO?! Sorry when I eat raw pork next time (there will NOT be a next time!) I’ll be sure to try and tell them not to remake it before the waitress comes over and snatches it away. Do not come here my god. So expensive too for VERY mediocre food. GO TO TIGER NOODLE A FEW DOORS DOWN FOR DELICIOUS/AFFORDABLE FOOD!

Diner Review №62

Yummy food and fast service.

Diner Review №63

Delicious, only wish the lunch portion was a little bigger.

Diner Review №64

Great fresh and hot Thai food.

Diner Review №65

The food was pretty average. We ordered satay chicken, pad Thai, Panang curry, pad ke mao and spicy chicken basil. The Panang curry was salty and lacked depth of the usual Thai spices and coconut milk flavor. The tofu was also stale and just lacking that extra flavor profile. The only dish that stood was was satay chicken and the bottle of wine ( which we can find in a usual grocery store). The staff is super friendly and kind and care for our satisfaction. Overall, an ok place but I might not return.

Diner Review №66

I'm in Rice Village quite often these days, so I'm glad my friend suggested this place. I've not had Thai food in so long, and this cured my craving.

Diner Review №67

This was a backup option for us as the person restaurant next door was overflowing and we were hungry! We divided to give this a try and it’s a 3 which is a generous rating. The food was average for the price. Hubby got the Tom kah which had no flavour at all and the fish cakes were squishy like out of the microwave. Our servers were nice though. Not sure if I will give this another shot.

Diner Review №68

I really enjoy this spot, the staff are super friendly, and the food is delicious/reasonably priced. Highly recommend the lunch special

Diner Review №69

Pad see ewe my favorite in town. Thai spicy please 🤤 staff is always nice and the place is pretty cozy. Also lots of things to do in Rice village

Diner Review №70

My favorite Thai restaurant in Houston! The drunken noodles are amazing, and the service is superb.

Diner Review №71

Great place to grab lunch before a show at Main Street Theater!

Diner Review №72

very nice atmosphere and cozy place. The service is amazing! When I walked in I was greeted by Nory and impressed with her service and attention to details. She answered all questions about the menu and recommended some great dishes such as Happy Family, Viet Sping Rolls and Tiger Cried. The food was exceptional as well. Will definitely come back in the future!

Unacceptable I had them deliver to me at the INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL IN THE MEDICAL CENTER AND THE SPRING ROLLS ARE INEDIBLE HAD TO THROW IN GARBAGE, LETTUCE ALL BROWN AND GROSS,🤢🥶🤢 THAI ICED TEA DECENT BUT OVERPRICED, THEY ADDED A $6.00 GAS TAX TO DRIVE 1.1 MILE AWAY, THE THOM KHA CHICKEN SOUP WAS DISGUSTING, DIDNT EAT THAT EITHER AND THE GENERAL TSO CHICKEN WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING.

THEY ARE CHEAP AND CUTTING CORNERS WITH BROWN OLD LETTUXE, OLD NASTY SMALL 🦐 AND NO SOY SAUCE AS I REQUESTED BECAUSE IM AT A HOTEL TEYING TO REST AFTER MY LITTLE SISTERS DEATH. UNACCEPTABLE I WILL BE DISPUTING THIS $48.28 CHARGE WITH MY BANKING INSTITUTION BECAUSE I KNOW YOURE TOO GHETTO TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND GIVE ME A FULL REFUND.

I GAVE MINA YOUR DRIVER A $7.00 CASH TIP AND THIS GARBAGE 🗑️ IS WHAT I GET. HOUSTON SUX ALL AROUND DO NOT COME HERE.

Diner Review №76

The service is good, but the food not so much. The rice was hard. When I went to pay, the young waiter girl with glasses practically forced me to leave a tip, it was not necessary. Yes, the service was good , but the food was bad, and I don't feel customers should be okay with leaving a tip. You made the food how you wanted to make it, no excuses.

Diner Review №77

We came for lunch and had both the crispy and the soft spring rolls with tofu to start with. Both were good. We had the stir fried drunken noodle with chicken and tofu. It was tasty. The food has been consistently great for many many years. The interior needs some TLC.

First visit after a long, long time away. Food was good-to-great. Nice portions and fair prices. Had Nam Sod, Pad Thai and Tiger Cry dishes. All were good tasting. Will come back and try some other dishes and soups next time. Definitely will return.

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

I first tried Pad Thai a few years ago and it became one of my favorite dishes, Thai Village has the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. The serving size is generous, I normally eat it all at the restaurant but I’ve been with some friends too and they had to get a to-go box to bring the rest with them. Their soft spring rolls and the sauce that comes with them are a must-try as well.

Diner Review №86

The food was very good. The shrimp curry had a little kick but was still enjoyable.

Diner Review №87

Diner Review №88

Great place to dine in for local thai food. This establishment has been around for over 20 years and the food never disappoints. I usually get the Pad See Ewe and if I’m feeling extra hungry I get the Vietnamese Egg Rolls, Cheese Rolls or Pork Dumplings. Very kind service that makes you feel like home. Oh! And don’t forgot the Thai tea (it’ll help with the spice ;)

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №92

Disgusting service from the workers. And bad quality food. They don’t want to redo my order in bad conditions.

Diner Review №93

Great, tasty Thai food. I’m always on the search for the best Drunken Noodle and this place has one of my favorites. Little cozy place in Rice Village that is very affordable compared to area restaurants. Would recommend!

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Food is great here, a bit pricy though. We ordered a Spicy Basil Chicken and Thai tea. We loved the basil chicken! Thai tea was good but a bit too sweet.

Diner Review №96

Diner Review №97

Diner Review №98

Diner Review №99

Nice staff and food is tasty.

Diner Review №100

I used them for catering-- the food was excellent and they were so professional and timely. I highly recommend! The crispy veggie rolls and pad see ew noodles were especially good!

Diner Review №101

The food was good.

Diner Review №102

When I say…. I think this might be the best curry I’ve ever had… i mean it. Got the Panang Curry with shrimp & chicken & WOW. I’m in shock still. I’m not even done with my meal & I had to stop to right a review bc I believe it’s my duty to mankind to tell people to come try this meal. Red Curry is also FANTASTICCCC. In shock. I’m shaking my head bc no meal should be this good. TRY. IT.

Diner Review №103

Food is so Asian, just the right amount of saltiness, spicyness, and crispiness! Tom yum is so yummy! The restau just needs some update, but otherwise, it's a very Asian ambiance!

Diner Review №104

It's pretty good food in a pretty good location. The interior decor is very nice, and the staff are always friendly. The food is solid somewhat above average Thai food, often a bit more oily than it should be but beyond that it's perfectly fine. They will spice to appropriate levels if you ask for it, and will make things Thai hot for those who want it.

Some good vegan and vegetarian options, with most of the items customizable as you'd like.

I don't think this place is worth seeking out, but if you're feeling in the mood for Thai it is a very solid choice.

Diner Review №105

Diner Review №106

Diner Review №107

Haven't had Thai food that good in a while, thank you

Diner Review №108

Diner Review №109

Delicious curry! It’s a must try, highly recommend the Thai spicy👍🏻

Diner Review №110

Diner Review №111

There are plenty of tasty vegetarian options here. Great desserts are also available. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that is considering having a meal here

Diner Review №112

Dismal. The food was poorly prepared and super greasy. Presentation was not appealing at all. I threw the food away

Diner Review №113

Every time we visit, we’re always impressed! The food is flavorful and delicious. We always try new items just to see if we can find anything we don’t like… not possible. Everything is delicious and the staff is friendly. I have nothing negative to say about it. The drunken noodles are especially one of our favorite dishes! We will keep coming back for more!

Diner Review №114

Garlic fried tofu yummm.

Diner Review №115

Definitely over priced. The food is good

Diner Review №116

جيد

Diner Review №117

Went here yesterday for the first time had the Spicy Basil with chicken. Was very tasty and flavorful. Would recommend

Diner Review №118

The food is authentic and very good tasting food. When the restaurant is full, the service slows down a little bit. That is a good sign because people are finding out this little gem. I recommend it.

Diner Review №119

Diner Review №120

Diner Review №121

Amazing food just didn't come out as we thought.

Diner Review №122

Love it! Good customer service, the food was delicious and good portions!

Diner Review №123

Delicious and really nice staff. You will be taken care of!! Huge fan of the Thai soft spring rolls and peanut chicken dish. You can’t go wrong though.

Diner Review №124

Diner Review №125

Good was just okay.
Curry was certainly a bit loose in consistency.
Spicy rice fried had a very unusual sweetness to it.

Diner Review №126

i ordered on uber eats cause i saw good reviews. i got the chefs fried rice and it was sooo incredible! some of the best tasting thai fried rice ive had in so long

Diner Review №127

Loved the quick service and tasty food!! We will definitely be back.

Diner Review №128

We went here with an out of town guest who was in the mood for spicy thia food. This is a great hole in wall nestled in the middle of Rice Village. It has a dive vibe but the food was excellent which is just what we were looking for.

Diner Review №129

Diner Review №130

الاكل جميل والأسعار معقولة

Diner Review №131

The most authentic and tasty food I’ve had in Houston!! So amazing! Will be coming back for sure😊

Diner Review №132

Food is good, and there is this lunch special that is pretty worth it. Not a lot of seats (the right section is closed off for some reason), and the service is average. If you like Thai food, this is one of the places in Rice Village.

Diner Review №133

Love their Tilapia and crystal noodle. New atmosphere after major renovation. Love it!

Diner Review №134

Diner Review №135

They serve large portions! Good service and good food.

Diner Review №136

Diner Review №137

I just love Thai Village! I've been going here for close to 20 years, and found out yesterday they've been there for 34! I used to work in the field, driving all over Harris County, and this place was a peaceful, welcome respite from the busy day. Still go now, just not as often, living in Pearland. Favorite dishes are Pad Thai, the crystal noodles, the dumplings, and the Tom Ka Gai (coconut milk and curry) soup. The atmosphere is calming and decorated with Thai folk art pieces, some of which are for sale. The staff and owners have always been pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. Highly recommended!!

Diner Review №138

My favorite Thai restaurant and food is on point!

Diner Review №139

Diner Review №140

Great Thai food! Willing to make pretty much anything vegan. Some solid tofu options too, with various sauces and very spicy food if you’re interested. Would go back again for sure.

Diner Review №141

It's really good Thai food, not much else to say. Short and sweet. More of a take out stop than a dine in.

Diner Review №142

Pad Thai and tom yum soup are excellent. I tried different Thai resto around the city, but this place captured the taste of authentic Thai cuisine.👍👍👍👍👍

Diner Review №143

I came on a beautiful September day. When I walked in I said hello and asked for a menu and what were the specials. I ended up getting Chicken Choo Chee and the Thai Soft Shrimp rolls. All of it was delicious, especially the sauce to dip the Thai Soft Shrimp rolls. I decided to eat outside and my server Nary shared she would bring it all out to me in a to go box. She also brought a plate for me to use while I ate. Nary was extremely kind and courteous. Greatest service I ever got in Houston, made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I hope I spelled your name Nary, if not I apologize.

Diner Review №144

Diner Review №145

The building smelled damp. The food has a dirty burnt food taste. My egg roll was burnt on the outside and still cold on the inside. Not sure how the health department hasn't shut them down.

Diner Review №146

Diner Review №147

SO GOOD. And such nice people working. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

Diner Review №148

This is honestly the BEST Thai food in Houston. The only things better than the affordable prices is the amazing portions and kind workers. It's a mom and pop shop and the kind of hole in the wall that makes you feel right at home! I have been coming here for years and the quality has never been anything less than amazing. If you're looking for great hearty Thai food this is definitely the place to visit!

Diner Review №149

Best Thai Place in Houston. Affordable prices and great portions. Love this mom and pop shop. Will definitely come back for more drunken noodles and curry chicken.

Diner Review №150

Diner Review №151

Diner Review №152

Great thai dishes!!

Diner Review №153

Diner Review №154

Definitely a must try restaurant if you love Thai food. If you're about the asthetics of a restaurant, I suggest you overlook that and just try their food. I had the Pad See Ewe Spicy and it is best one I've had. Great service.

Diner Review №155

Delicious! Authentic!!

Diner Review №156

The chicken green curry taste really good, but if the green beans more cooked will be more yummy.

Diner Review №157

My family loves this place. We all get the Thai Fried rice every time we go. I add chicken and broccoli. Everyone else in my family gets shrimp. And when try to minimize the carbs, I get extra protein and extra veggies. Mm mm good!

Diner Review №158

Diner Review №159

Diner Review №160

Diner Review №161

Real good Thai food. I spent 2 years in Thailand during the war and feel in love with Thai food

Diner Review №162

Diner Review №163

I went here on a Monday and ordered a yellow curry lunch special and a Pad Thai. Both dishes were less then mediocre. Very disappointed, wouldn't recommend this establishment. Expensive, stingy with the chicken, and taste was off on the yellow curry. Take out service time was very reasonable (~10 min).

Diner Review №164

My favorite Thai restaurant! The family who owns it takes it personal to be the very best to their customers. The food is amazing and always hot and ready, and the service is impeccable! Will be going here as long as I live in the area

Diner Review №165

There’s a reason why Thai Village has been around for as long as it has — good food and great service. This time I ordered the tofu with garlic sauce and chicken in peanut sauce served with two pints of white rice.

We were a walk-in and they were quick with the to-go order. They’re generous with their portions and there is enough food for at last two servings.

Diner Review №166

Lovely quaint restaurant, the staff is so friendly and the food is delicious! Always smiles all around and the food comes out fresh and fast. My favorite spot to eat in the Village. Lunch specials and wonderful and decently priced. Highly recommend you stop and try!!

Diner Review №167

Nice place. We ate outside with the lovely weather. The soft Thai spring rolls are good. I had the spicy Thai fried rice with tofu, and folks, it is _spicy_ at only 2 🌶️. Good though. I'd like to go back and try more from the menu.

Also, if you go when it's raining, take cash or prepare to wait because they'll either lose the internet or it will go very very slowly.

Diner Review №168

The food is delicious and the owners are great!

Diner Review №169

Most horrible “Thai” food I’ve ever tried. Don’t waste your time and money…..

Diner Review №170

Love it here. Unfussy, quick and great food. Sometimes is pretty quiet, but the staff are super accommodating and nice.

Diner Review №171

Diner Review №172

Delicious food in a quaint little shop hidden among all the shopping stores in rice village. The service was great. Our waitress was very sweet and prompt with our food and drinks. My only criticism is the price and serving size. Very expensive for any entree compared to other thai restaurants and their serving size might leave some people wanting more. Otherwise, great food and location.

Diner Review №173

red curry was watery and flavorless

Diner Review №174

Had lunch here with hubby yesterday. Everything was perfect. Food was hot, portions were good for the price, waitress was very nice, just right attentive.

Diner Review №175

Thai Village has great customer service and the food was great! I had a big order with last minutes changes and added items and they had no problem getting everything we needed for our order! Ms. Nory went above and beyond, thank you!

Diner Review №176

Diner Review №177

The food was really good but the staff members were very warm and kind. I like the atmosphere. I love friendly employees!

Diner Review №178

Love love love Thai Village. Great food. Great service. You want to-go, usually ready within 10 minutes. I always get an order of Vietnamese spring rolls with shrimp and drunken noodles, clear noodles, or pad see ewe. My bf gets the yellow curry and has loved it every time. I need to mention the service again because they are always so nice, efficient, and respectful. They treat you like an esteemed friend. I really like this place and if you like Thai/Vietnamese, you gotta try it out. Also parking is kind of hard to find in front of them, but there is a parking lot to the side of them that you can park in.

Diner Review №179

Diner Review №180

It was okay.

Diner Review №181

One of my favorite places to eat at in Houston. Everything from the yellow curry to pad see ew so delicious!!

Diner Review №182

Diner Review №183

Not an expert on Thai food but this was very good food. I had the pad Thai with pork which I loved and tasted the drunken noodles which I will get next time. Yellow curry is the best around I was told but he wouldn’t share. Thank you!

Diner Review №184

Service is prompt but the food is not great. We ordered the lunch specials. The chicken was rubbery like when it has been reheated too many times. The sauce and vegetables had not flavor. Seems to have been similar to a microwave job. The spring roll filling was like mush - will not go again

Diner Review №185

Food was really good I loved the fresh Vietnamese spring rolls.

Diner Review №186

Great food and customer service. I've never been disappointed with the food here. Enjoyed my lunch every time I decided to stop by or order for delivery.

Diner Review №187

Great Thai fried rice, chicken, shrimp, etc! Been coming for years!

Diner Review №188

Diner Review №189

Diner Review №190

Absolutely amazing easily one of the most calming places ove ever gotten to eat at. The food was well prepared and tasting delicious. This is a place I will come back to.

Diner Review №191

Avoid the green curry with "seafood." I'm not sure what the "seafood" was supposed to be, but it wasn't very appetizing. It came four tiny shrimp. It was $47 for two people pre-tip. There are so many wonderful places to eat in Rice Village. How this place stays open is beyond me. Seriously, grab a frozen Thai meal from the grocery store. This is hands down the worst meal I've had in Houston in the last year. In fact, it's almost impressive how utterly disgusting this food was. The dog didn't even want it.

Diner Review №192

Picked up the drunken noodles with chicken today-first time trying this place for one of my favorite dishes, and it was so good that I am writing my first Google review, ever. Lots of veggies and meat. They do not skimp you-plenty of chicken, green beans, and carrots-my fave! I am a regular at several other Thai places in town, closer to the Heights, so this was an experiment. Most of the other places just give you mostly noodle with a few pieces of meat and veggies but this was very well made and portioned. I will definitely be coming back, even if I have to drive for a bit. Props to the owner, employees, and chefs who work there. Thank you guys for your hard work.

Diner Review №193

Diner Review №194

Delicious.. parking was challenging but others good food and service

Diner Review №195

The waitress was great. Manager, not so much. Food, meh. My dish had a burnt oil taste. Waitress offered to replace. I declined and shared with spouse. She came back to offer different dish, again i refused and she offered discount. Ok. Husband could hear manager fuss at her. She brought a different dish, but manager charged full price. I would not have accepted replacement if i would have known. When we didnt put tip on card, manager berated waitress, that it was her fault
We left cash for her. Do not eat there!!!

Diner Review №196

Diner Review №197

Worked late in Med Center during the inclement weather. They stayed open and served us. Food was great. Thanks so much.

Diner Review №198

They don’t pickup their phone ever at all. Nothing but a dial tone for multiple hours. A business should not have a phone number marketed all over the internet that does not even work. There is even a sign outside the restaurant with the number that never works. I don’t see the point of even having the number up in the first place.

Diner Review №199
