I’ve never been disappointed here, unlike at many of the other nearby restaurants. I usually get the Pad Woonsene and recently tried the Pad Thai Woonsene and both are amazing!

The green curry, the pad see ew, the spring rolls, and Thai iced tea were what we ordered as a late lunch. Hot, flavorful, and spicy this small family run restaurant gives great value and on target flavors for this cuisine.

Small Thai restaurant in the corner of a plaza. The place had very good prices for Thai food. The soup was sub-par but the fried rice was very good. It's probably the best Thai north of Detroit. The staff is super friendly. It's basically like getting homemade cooking. I will put a 5/5 once I come back and try another thing on the menu.

Update: came again and got pad thai. Everything was even better. 5/5

Penn’s Thai Cafe is our favorite. If you want some fancy expensive restaurant, then this is not the place for you. Great food, generous, moderately priced portions, and a nice Mom & Pop feel to the place. The owner is nice and always makes me feel like I’m her favorite customer. JC

I've only been here once so my rating is preliminary but the staff took my order quickly and efficiently and it was ready in 10 minutes. Due to COVID I took my meal home and it was delicious. I love the transparent noodles! The dinner portion was enough for 2 meals.

Delicious food! First time visit and orderd carry out. We love thai food especiqlly if its spicy! The spicy noodle and pad thai curry were just that. Requested it spicy and glad it was made spicy :) Will surely be back to try more on the menu

I have been to this place time and time again and I swear they never disappoint. The service is phenomenal and when I tell you out of every thai restaurant i’ve been to, this one is first place. I have recommended it to so many friends and family and they agree as well. The service is GREAT, quick and very friendly. The flavors are absolutely amazing and I honestly could eat this food breakfast lunch and dinner. IF YOU WANT THE BEST THAI FOOD IN METRO DETROIT ITS HERE!

We ordered shrimp fried rice and it wasn't good at all! This is the 2nd time we tried. I guess it's time to try and diff restuarant.

I love the Thai food they serve here! It's my to go Thai place whenever I crave Thai fried rice. Their curry is amazing too! The portions are generous with the amount you pay. The employees are very kind and treat you well. You won't regret it.

I've been coming here since 2016. Their food is excellent and their prices are very reasonable. My personal favorite is the Pad See Ew, but their Pad Thai is also great. We've also tried and really liked other dishes like their basil friend rice and their curry. The staff is very nice and friendly.

Be careful going here they give us old vegetables in are food and my family get sick also I had someone with a food allergies and they had to see a doctor this place is a death trapped thank for getting back with me on the 17th but yes I have the right place and yes your restaurant made my family sick

Ordered Pad Thai and Crab Rangoon for dinner. I loved the Crab Rangoon, and the Pad Thai was good, although had somewhat of a vinegar underlying which I am not used to. Still had good flavor and enough food for 2! Glad to support a local business here in Troy!

I took out their Spicy noodle and Gang Pak. They were delicious and had lots of veggies and meat. The lady who took my order was not friendly at first, but became nice in the end.

Definitely the best Thai food that I’ve had in southeastern MI. Cozy little “hole in the wall” family-owned cafe with delicious soup and shrimp chips if you dine in. Stopped coming for a few years since I moved, but it was exactly as I remembered when I returned. The cashier/server remembered me even after multiple years removed! A must-try if you love Thai food.

Tiny little place but so happy I found it! They were so polite and the food was amazing, especially for their prices. Not usually a fan of spring rolls but I tried them in their combo platter and they were the best spring rolls I've ever had.

Great Pad Thai. Smaller than usual restaurant, with a very low budget feel, but in a good way. Can get busy during lunch, but the kitchen is quick, so you can eat here in under 30 minutes easily.

The feeling you get when you're inside, is that of being in someone's home. The food was delicious and the serving size was perfect but nothing special to look at. Seems like a great take-out spot.

Great authentic food. The house fried rice is excellent. The satay and pad thai are also excellent. Small restaurant with 12 or so tables and always spotless. The couple that owns it are very kind and friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Go check them out you won't be sorry. They are in the corner of the plaza..next to or one down from Leslie's pool supply.

Very good food. Also very busy and the wait for a table was about 30 minutes. Ended up sitting at the bar to avoid the wait. Had a great waitress.

The Nam Prim Pow is AMAZING. Service is always fast and friendly and she will remember you if you are a regular. She always asks me how I am doing and if my boyfriend is not there asks where he is and how he is. I love this place so much!

I eat lunch, sometimes early dinner here, whenever I am working on this side of town. The service, cleanliness, and the product is always impeccable. I am routine here, always ordering the same thing: Chow Mein noodles with Tofu and extra broccoli, mild-medium. Eat here, be happy, thank me later.

It's a small, more intimate place. I got pad thai and it was just alright. The flavors were a bit different than what I have usually experienced at other thai places.. it had a stronger vinegar taste possibly. They give soup and those yummy shrimp chips as complementary before your meal. The soup itself was also just ok.

I love this restaurant. Try the green curry with chicken medium heat... it's hot. Do not challenge a thai restaurant to make your food hot... the house wins every time.

Tasty Pad Thai.

I have nothing good to say about this. I ordered the fried basil rice with tofu. It was essentially a plate of bland rice with about 4 pieces of tofu and a few pepper slices. It was not worth the money at all. Some other review mentioned they weren't sure if there was even a bathroom and im not sure either.

Tried this restaurant for lunch and was pretty disappointed in the food. Hot and Sour soup bordered on tasteless and the Gang Dang was just about mediocre. Service east fine. Probably won't be going back. Too many other Thai restaurants that are head and shoulders above this one.

Took a friend here for lunch. We both had a great meal. He had Thai Pad and I had bbq pork friend rice. Both were excellent. The soup was the best! The owner/staff was very obliging and attentive. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys Thai food! 5 stars!
