Sakhuu Thai Legacy is the perfect destination for those looking to experience authentic Thai cuisine in a luxurious and comfortable setting.
Our new location offers fine dining and an exquisite atmosphere that will make you feel like you’ve taken a passport to Thailand.
This place has some really good happy hour drink options. We ordered the spring rolls, which were just okay, but the pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and dumplings were really good!
The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Overall, it’s a nice spot with tasty food and drinks. I’d definitely come back to try more things on the menu.
We made a reservation for valentines and ended up late so they gave away our table but they still managed to give us a table after about 30 minutes and it was extremely busy. The service was incredible and every single person who worked there checked on us. It took a while to get my drink but considering it was extremely busy that was okay. I got the Khao Sai which was so delicious with a perfect flavoring of curry for my liking. The Lyche and diamond drink which had amazing presentations and delicious taste, the diamond drink was presented with glitter sprayed over it which was my favorite part. We also ordered the lava cake which was a beautiful presentation and so delicious, I mean really freaking goood. I am dying to come back another time when it’s not so busy.
I had high expectations for this Thai restaurant, especially given the $260 bill for five people (with a 20% service charge included). Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. No one checked on our table throughout the meal, water refills were non-existent, and service was incredibly slow—especially when we asked for menus or new plates for dessert. When we requested new plates, the manager or owner questioned why we needed them and seemed unhappy about it.
After we paid, my friends and I stayed to chat, but we felt uncomfortable as the waitress and the manager/owner lingered nearby, making their presence very noticeable. Their behavior made us feel unwelcome, and we left earlier than we intended.
The food itself was okay, but the poor service and uncomfortable atmosphere really overshadowed the experience. I would not recommend this place based on our visit.
I'm going to start off with the food, because there were some things about it that I especially loved. We ordered a couple of mild options, as well as medium, and one thing that sets this restaurant apart is the fact that they do not compromise flavor for spice. The food was well flavored even without asking for spice. We got to order a variety of dishes and each one instantly made you forget the flavors of previous dishes in a great way. The service was good, with people coming up to us to check in, and ask to take pictures, as well as just refilling our waters. However, there were times where it felt like they were trying a little too hard to make extra money. For example, when we ordered the soup as a small, they told us that they would have to charge us if we wanted an extra bowl to share. Also, for most of our meals we got the option of having either veggies or tofu, with an extra fee for both. It felt a little like they were trying to sneak in a way to make us pay more. Other than that, the people were super friendly and kind. The atmosphere was great with no over the top decor, and yet the restaurant still managed to set the correct mood for a fancy dinner. Overall, I definitely recommend this, since the food is not worth missing.
Great Thai food, all the dishes were flavorful and tasted fresh. Good atmosphere for after-work dinner and is perfect for a couple's night out. Their cocktails are good and unique too. Definitely going back again. Better reserve ahead of time so you don't have to wait. They have outdoor seating in the front.
Nice atmosphere. Average food & cocktails
My spouse and I recently celebrated our anniversary with the kids at Sakhuu Thai in Plano, and while the food and ambiance were generally excellent, a couple of minor issues slightly dampened our otherwise lovely experience.
The food itself has a lot of vegetarian options and the presentation, taste was truly impressive. We started with the Tom Yum soup and dumplings, both of which were delicious. For our main courses, we enjoyed the Drunken Noodles, Cashew Curry, and Khao Soi. I was particularly impressed with the flavorful Khao Soi and the perfectly balanced Tom Yum soup. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The restaurant's atmosphere also contributed to a special occasion feel.
The service was attentive, though this is where our minor issues arose. When we ordered the Tom Yum soup, we were informed rather firmly that we would be provided with an extra bowl for sharing a cup of soup. Similarly, when we requested a mix of tofu and vegetables in our curry, we were again told that this customization would also incur a $3 charge.
While the food was undoubtedly worth the price, these extra charges felt a bit like nickel-and-diming, especially considering Sakhuu Thai is already a pricier restaurant. It detracted somewhat from the overall experience.
Amazing authentic Thai food. And super nice people. Highly recommended!

Best Pad Thai outside of Thailand.
Incredible food, incredible ambiance and most importantly incredible service!!
PS: this I cannot emphasize enough the music always on point, perfect mixed between Zara house and chill vibes
It was so great! The atmosphere was so cool and calm. The food was one of the best thai I have ever had. The service was great very friendly.

Its an amazing cozy place, Our waitress Future is amazing with her smile and with the service. Staff were very attentive and amazing on the floor.
Amazing spot! Try the mango sticky rice.
Emily was very nice! Great Food!
Emily took GREAT care of me today! Get the pumpkin soup Witt the shrimp dumplings and papaya salad and Thai tea! Great food, service and atmosphere!
Got Khao soi to go, it was delicious but wish i hadnt ordered it spicy, they really dont skimp on the spice 🥵
Also the dish was advertised as including chicken drumstick, but mine seemingly had chicken breast pieces instead. Not a big deal, but i was excited about the drumstick :/
I went for lunch about a year ago (great experience) so I excitedly decided to take my visiting family there over the recent holidays. Overall decent experience. Ambience great, service was okay at best. As a new yorker, I didn’t sit around waiting for something, if i needed something i went and found the server or someone who could quickly help me.
All was generally well except my Crispy Duck entree. They really need to revisit that option. I’ve had thai crispy duck many times in many places and this was the absolute worst. They breaded the duck (like fried chicken) which is terrible because duck is already fatty so breading on duck is a disaster. Luckily my mom ordered the pork belly entree which was spectacular. I felt terrible because i ate half of her meal and i totally ignored mine. I see from other reviews that the crispy duck soup is soggy and I’m guessing it’s because they add breading to the duck so that wouldn’t work well. I understand that this is Texas where everything is fried but c’mon - get it right. I know authentic thai crispy duck. Our server was super sweet but kinda MIA, but llke I said, i handled that when needed.
Note: they added 20% auto tip to my party of 4. Check your check.
I’d give it another lap based on the other meals at my table.
This place is delicious and consistent.
Good food with good ambience.
Tried veg dumplings, red curry, fried rice, khao-soi all tasted good.
Not all Thai restaurant serve Khao-soi so it was good to see them carry it.
Could improve on service, was looking for salt and spices and took a whole lot to get someone's attention to our table, and dish turned cold in the meantime 😔
Rude and short tempered server. I don’t think this guy has ever worked in the service industry. Food was okay but not worth the price. Server completely ruined our experience not going back to this location.
Food was good but very disappointed at the service of wait staff. Our waiter had major attitude and was extremely rude. He didn’t have an iota of patience to answer any questions. We went for dinner around 8ish. There was one female in the wait staff who was the only person with some level of customer service. Even the manager was not friendly. Liked the food but definitely will not be going there again. There are several other great Thai places around North Texas where food and service both are amazing.
This place is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere sets the tone for an incredible dining experience.
The menu is packed with traditional dishes, and you can tell everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Their Khao Soi is an absolute must-try – the balance of flavors is perfect! The spice level is just right, but they’re always happy to adjust it.
The staff is friendly and passionate about ensuring you enjoy your meal. It’s clear they take pride in serving food that stays true to the rich traditions of Thai cooking.
Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a special occasion spot, this restaurant never disappoints. Highly recommend it to anyone craving an authentic taste of Thailand.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I absolutely loved my experience at Sakhuu Thai Legacy! The food was incredibly authentic, bursting with rich flavors that took me straight to Thailand. The warm and inviting atmosphere made it such a feel-good spot to enjoy a meal. The drinks were on point, refreshing and perfectly crafted, and the service was nothing short of excellent attentive, friendly, and welcoming. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious Thai cuisine and a memorable dining experience. Can’t wait to come back!
I must say that before Sakhuu Thai in Plano, TX changed management, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. However, since the change, the food quality is okay, and the customer service from management has significantly deteriorated. The unprofessional, rude, and arrogant behavior we experienced from the Asian or Thai manager was poor and unpleasant.
The food itself was okay, but the poor service and uncomfortable atmosphere really overshadowed the experience. I would not recommend this place based on our visit.
Enjoyed a dinner for hubby’s birthday with kids. We ordered few appetizers (emerald dumplings, duck roti) and Thai Basil Chicken served with steamed rice to share. The atmosphere is wonderful, dimmed soft lighted and enhances connection and positive uplifting feelings. The food came FAST! Everything tasted delicious. We enjoyed our time as a family. It’s a definite GO 👍🤩
Came here on a Saturday night just after 10pm. They had open sign and door open with staff milling about but refused to seat us saying they were closing early to clean. Great first impression. Too bad we live close by and love Thai. Won’t be bothering to try another time.
Everyone other than the lady behind the bar. She seems like the manager or in the management. She is extremely rude and expressionless
I visited Saaku thai couple of times, the food is always good. Khao soi is a must try food item there. Thai Basil fried rice is also good.
Update:
I placed an online order for basil fried rice and it dint have any taste. It was very blant and flavorless.
18% & 20% GRATUITY ADDED AUTOMATICALLY, already expensive but expected for the area.
Crispy duck soup 5/10 disappointing, why fry the duck then make it soggy drowned in soup? Poor execution. Broth was good and savory.
Pad kee mow 7/10 bland, no spice (medium), not enough noodles.
Woo sen seafood salad ripoff. All noodles had almost no veggies.
Service was slow, inconsistent and forgot to serve drinks, had to send some of the food back.
Eat somewhere else
Came here for family dinner and were disappointed by both the food and the service. I ordered the crispy duck noodle soup and my husband the pad kee mow. Crispy duck noodles had soggy duck rather than crispy, and the pad kee mow noodles were mushy and the tofu and chicken were quite dried out. We sent the duck noodles back. Neither item was spicy despite ordering medium. My uncle ordered the crab noodle soup and also felt it was very “meh”, and my mom was quite disappointed that her pad soon sen glass noodle salad had very minimal vegetables typical of the dish. Just a few tomatoes really.
Food aside, our servers did not check in on us or refill waters, forgot the beer my uncle ordered, and never brought the chili on the side that my mom asked for. It was hard getting their attention and we felt quite neglected. The kicker is they charge a 20% mandatory gratuity for parties of 5 or more. We will not return.
The staff were friendly, but their attentiveness left much to be desired. Even when trying to catch their attention, it felt like a game of luck to get any assistance. The most intriguing part was that we were there for a birthday dinner, and they mentioned a 'secret dessert’ they offer for birthday dinners. Unfortunately, it remained so secret that we never actually received it, even after the meal.
Romantic atmosphere, food quality is superb and better than average Thai restaurant. This place should be rated at a 4.6/5.0.
Romantic and soothing ambience, dimmed flickering lighting, and soft soulful music. Our server Mod was very mannerly and polite. It was the perfect rainy date night to unwind and feel like a pleasant escape. Every curry is fabulous.
Ordered a chicken basil fried rice, the chicken was completely undercooked and almost raw. The chicken was also smelling terrible. The rice was smelling of raw chicken and didn’t taste good. We took out the chicken and the rice still tasted bad and was smelling. The curry wasn’t good and was overheated, this food feels like it’s premade. Overall the food isn’t good and I had high expectations but low results definitely would not recommend coming here for Thai food there is way better options.
Sakhuu Thai is an upscale establishment with modern flair and harmonizing aesthetic elements that boast an inviting, charming, welcoming ambiance and core of energy in the heart of the Shops at Legacy in Plano. Cannot believe I have been missing out on this gem. It seems to be the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable solo afternoon lunch or evening dinner or with Family. The intricate detail and intimate dining space speaks for itself. Upon entering, you are instantly transported to a different realm of consciousness. There is a vibe here and you can certainly feel it when you walk through the door. The playlist song choice is solid as well and sets the mood for your meal. The Menu is in the Format of a Passport. Such a cute idea!
The dining experience was truly life-changing. We were immediately greeted with a smile, seated, and served by Christi. We mentioned we were first-time visitors and noted that we had an 11AM OpenTable Reservation. She was attentive and receptive to our needs without being intrusive. She also checked on us during our meal. Most noteworthy dishes were the Chicken Bao Bao(warm, fluffy, sweet and savory baked dough with equally flavorful and exotic meat simmered in coconut milk on the inside), Spice Level 2 Red Curry Chicken with an impressive depth of flavor and meat to curry ratio, and the tastiest Spice Level 2 Chicken Pad Thai with delightfully subtle tamarind undertones that I have ever had. Mom and I ordered the lunch special which included one spring roll and a choice of Salad or Tom Yum Soup(which contains mushrooms and I unfortunately can’t have since I am allergic). We will have to return for dessert another time since we were full from the appetizer and entrée. The Tom Yum Cocktails were beautifully presented, well-executed, and packed an earthy zing and delightfully invigorating punch to the palate with a spicy kick of ginger.
Met the manager - Tan. The team was visible on the floor. He was friendly, engaging, and handcrafted our Tom Yum Cocktails himself at the bar. We got to chat with him for a bit after our meal and it was clear that we will be returning as frequent patrons. Having lived in the DFW Metroplex for 23 years, we have been to several Thai Restaurants. As first-timers, this place - in terms of food, service, and ambiance - definitely did not disappoint. This will, undoubtedly, be added to our list of rotations of the plethora of Thai Restaurants in the area.
Wonderful all around! Great food, service, and vibes!
Hello
PLease check the receipt for gratuity that’s charged if your table has more than 5 guests. The one that caught my eyes is , ownership has the audacity of requesting additional tip after having charged a good 20% gratuity. It’s a shame.
Food is ok. It’s too cold inside. Bathroom needs makeover.
Visited with my wife for our anniversary dinner.
The ambience is nice and cozy, tables a little too close for our liking but the experience was great nevertheless.
The cocktails, appetisers and entrees were excellent.
The Khao soi, Crab egg noodles and calamari were excellent 👍
My wife is vegetarian and she had enough choices as well.
Can’t wait to order the crab egg noodles again.
Nice Thai food place in legacy . We went for Friday dinner decently busy got place immediately. Menu is good and good for vegetarian if you have egg because there noodles are egg noodles. We had spring roll and calamari fries. Liked the calamari fried as it had veggie and calamari coated with crispy batter. Main we had khowshuey and it was good. Will definitely go next time for there warm khowshuey.
Delicious food!
Decent Restaurant for the decent price. Will go again when I visit Plano next
The ABSOLUTE BEST Thai food I’ve ever had. I ordered a green tofu curry and a pineapple fried rice. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The curry was full of flavor. I will be a regular here.
There is a charge for everything including ice cube for a $60 whisky and a charge for opening even a birthday cake.
Great food, great vibe. Their crab woonsen is to die for
Update: the waitress/host is in a really bad mood today
Quality and taste is great. Service charge is added to every check.
Never heard of a place that has 18% forced gratuity added to an absolutely terrible service too. My sever was not at all nice and no good service provided. Also there so much less quantity. This is absolutely ridiculous to add so much default gratuity for even eating alone or as a couple. Let alone 20% for a group of 5 or more!!! Go to other places the Thai food here is not that great for extra money they take!!!!!
Great experience every time. Friendly staff. Recognizes their regulars very well.
Curry was smooth and the meat was tender. The pad Thai noodles offered lots of flavors and were well balanced. They were able to adjust spice levels perfectly and offered additional sauces. The restaurant is a bit small but there are good seating options. The menus were an interesting touch. They were like passport books and had all the ingredients and pictures if you were unfamiliar.
The taste of food was good , the speed of service was below average, and the bartender, I assume she’s the manager of this place also, was kind of rude and she had a little attitude. We’ve been here before, and the service and the customer service were great, I’m not sure why it was different this time. Definitely we will give this place another try in near future.
Great food, nice people 👍 👌 😋
Great Thai food, all the dishes were flavorful and tasted fresh. Good atmosphere for after-work dinner and is perfect for a couple's night out. Their cocktails are good and unique too. Definitely going back again. Better reserve ahead of time so you don't have to wait. They have outdoor seating in the front.
Loved their Papaya Salad. Lot of veg options!! Ambience is great!! Amazing people!!
I went before a Sunday afternoon lunch rush, not too many people, had ample space and sunlight in the restaurant. Ordered some Phad Thai and Tom Kha Gai soup, they were delicious! The menu was so cute, like a passport, and the dessert was really good too, they were generous with the portions, can't complain at all. We were a party of three and we were all full by the end !
Went for lunch and had an incredible meal with wonderful service. Highly recommend the Pad See Ew!
Great place for date night! We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was fantastic and super nice and helpful since it was our first time trying Thai food. The spicy shrimp dumplings and papaya salad were really delicious! We also tried the chicken satay, crab meat egg noodle, and spicy basil stir fry. Everything was excellent!! Highly recommend!
Such an overpriced placed. 18% mandatory gratuity for any table even for Family of 4 ( 2 adults, 1 toddler and 1 baby)???? We ordered spring rolls, veg dumplings, one noodles and one fried rice. We paid $80 for this. Day light robbery don't you think? I cannot imagine how a $45 at best $50 meal turned out to be so crazy expensive. Also, the service is abysmal. They made us feel so small and unwanted. Don't even waste your time. Treat yourself to anything else!!!
Had a reservation at 7:15pm, got seated around 7:25pm. Waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order, waited another 40 minutes to get our drinks & appetizer. The people next to us had a bigger party and we’re being served faster than us despite us arriving first. The drinks were good but waiting for 40 minutes for them was not worth it. Didn’t wait another 1hr or so to get our dinner and just left.
Had a really good dinner here with my family tonight. We ordered several appetizers and main dishes. The yellow curry was delicious, the pineapple fried rice was really good too. It took a little bit for the food to come out.
Amazing find in Legacy East
very nice place. tastefully decorated and good food. I'd ordered a 4-chili dish, which was very good, but didn't make me sweat the way I'd expected a top-level heat to do.
Now the lunch service could have been better. there wasn't a big effort to get all the dishes out on time, and my special request to not have rice or noodles was seen as an imposition rather than a reasonable request
Food and drinks are good. Loved the lychee martini and the green curry. I’m vegetarian and they had plenty of options. The restaurant is a pretty loud, and they added on a tip for a party of 3 and that’s why I reduced the rating. I usually tip 20%+, but didn’t like the taking of a tip ahead of time. It’s in disclosed in the menu, but by then you’re already at the table.
Good food and nice atmosphere.
Placed a pick up order. Food wasn’t extra spicy like I requested and might’ve been the worse pineapple fried rice ive ever tried. Place was packed though so someone is eating there
Amazing spot. Everything is packed with flavor and plated beautifully. The staff here is so great, they make sure the presentation is as good as the flavor... Which btw will knock your socks off.
Ambiance was too good 👍 but food was disappointing.
My family was the first customers of the day. We arrived at the restaurant by 11:15am and they open at 11am. The server was rude (not friendly or accommodating) when seating us. The booth was dirty and she did not offer to clean it but handed us a napkin to clean it. The table also had crumbs on it. We still decided to stay and order. We asked for Thai iced tea she said they did not have enough. We asked for their lemongrass drink. The server said they did not have that as well. She did not offer to make it. I’m confused as to why they aren’t able to serve basic drinks if we were the first customers of the day it’s not like we came 30 mins before closing. We usually have a good experience here but today was horrible. Keep ur place clean and remind your staff to smile.
Terribly slow service. My food delicious- once we got it.
Be careful about their billing and receving the payment method.
Gave my card and got print out and he placed the hand held machine showing for tip to be added.
added 20% . later I found the original print out had 18 % tip was already added.
I never could see him after he left the machine showing the tip to be added. If he did not leave the machine opened and left for the tip I would not have given another 20%.
I think, they should not practice this kind of trick.
Really expensive Thai spot in Plano but their food options are extensive and decor is good. I personally don’t care for their pad thai as it is underwhelming but the rest of the menu is really great.
Make sure to have a reservation. It can get busy.
We had a reservation so we didn't have that problem.
Our favorite here is the crab Rangoon appetizer. Good filling and sauce. The shape is a little hard to bite into.
Next we got the sizzling Bangkok beef. This is a 30$ dish. While it was tasty, it was not worth 30$. It's only good for one. It was more steamy than sizzling. The beef was nice and tender but quantity is small. We chose mild spice.
Then I got the white pad thai with shrimp. Its the less sweet version compared to regular pad thai which they do have on the menu. Decent.
For a cocktail, we got an English garden. 18$. Too expensive.
Overall, the appetizer was the highlight and the rest was just okay. If they were cheaper than maybe it would be worth.
Service was not good for a high end Thai restaurant. Food did come quickly. But water took a while to get refilled, didn't get the cocktail menu until we asked for it.
Sincerely the worst Thai green curry and beef I have ever had. I ordered chicken and they brought beef and I didn’t want to waste the food because I knew they would throw it away. It was like low quality creamy, green curry with no taste and a very low quality unseasoned beef. Eating flour and water luke warm would have been just the same. After my lunch, I called from the road because I didn’t want to make a fuss during a business lunch and they promised to refund me for the food. The refund never came.
They chase the customers out from 9:30PM which is 1.5 hrs from closing on weekends.
Quiet tranquil food was great
The details on everything is freaking cool! Loved majority of the experience - The food, drinks and atmosphere.
The drink menu was removed a bit too soon, which felt like we were being rushed out. It wasn’t even asked if we wanted the menus removed.
I would recommend the martini lychee, and the Sakhuu mule.
Very disappointing. Eventhough we received our food quickly, thee food was mediocre. The service was terrible. Not once did the server came to check on us. It was not even busy. The surprising part is that they automatically include 18% gratituty to our bill without providing any service. The girl who took our order had no personality and was extremely rude.
@sakhuuthai.legacy is my absolute favorite place for great #thaifood. They specialize in authentic Lao and Thai dishes. We tried their dumplings, chicken satay, fish stuffed in coconut, sizzling beef, roasted duck curry and the four seasons ice cream 🤩. We also tried several of their cocktails and they are fantastic. Highlight recommend this place located at @shopsatlegacy 💯 🙌🏽 #greatfood #goodvibes
The best Thai around! Spent tonight here with three others, 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, a few drinks, and a dessert. Perfect service. Delicious food and drinks.
We really liked the place, food and the service. Honestly, there is nothing complain about this place. we only felt the pricing structure is little steep and they already add the gratuity but we will visit and recommend to anyone who is looking tasty Thai food in Plano area.
This is both a fantastic date spot and a great takeout source. Their food is fast, super fresh and very high quality. Crispy vegetables, tasty sauces, and a broad menu for everyone. In a sea of chain restaurants, they really stand out for their flavor - which is bold, complex and interesting without overly relying on spicy heat. (If you don’t like spicy food, you can eat here happily). I personally love the garlic stir fry with tofu, cashew nut chicken, summer rolls and several of their pad Thais. Best restaurant in the Legacy area, I think.
The food slayed so hard omg. Atmosphere 10/10. Service was amazing
Not sure why all the 1 star reviews. I have been to plenty of Thai places and i would say this restaurant quality of food is far more superior than the rest of the Thai places around me. I guess people’s tastebuds are different but i absolutely loved the food here and the edamame was very unique but hit the spot.
Entrees were delicious. Vegetables and noodles were perfectly cooked. Sauce has a nice kick to it but not too spicy. Will definitely dine here again
Best Thai in Plano, TX, quite possibly in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex! The Pad Thai was amazing! The chicken and broccoli were very tasty. The crab rangoon was on point! If you're craving Thai food and want a pretty relaxing atmosphere, I would highly recommend coming to Sakhuu Thai!
Round 2: Delicious! We'll be back!
Round 3: Never disappointed coming here! Great food!
Service is great, very welcoming, food was surprisingly good for an upscale Thai restaurant. Cocktails were unique in flavor and decent strength. Quite pricey but it is in a populated part of Plano.
Food was good . The complimentary desert was good too, only with six of us it was toooooo little.
The owner and the team were exceptional. The food is authentic and the love that goes into every dish makes a trip to this restaurant unforgettable. They aim to to provide an excellent meal every time you purchase. I met the owner in the Richardson location about 3 years ago. She told me these were family recipes and it tastes like home. Well now I go to her restaurant and I get a feeling of what it must of been like at her family’s dinner table. Awesome and you have to try it.
Food was wonderful, especially the main dishes! Cocktails were great too and loved the airport theme menu. Service was quick however we did feel a bit rushed. They added their own automatic gratuity to our bill even though it says they add gratuity only for parties of 5 or more and our party size was smaller than that.
Great Food, horrible service.
Food came out pretty quick and fresh. Staff are friendly i had (housemade)fried calamari and salmon wrapped with roti & duck wrapped with roti. It was very good and delicious. Even manager came to my table and made sure everything is good and satisfied. Will come back again
Great food, good cocktails and very friendly people who run the business, I would surely comeback!
The spring rolls are really good (though I’ve never had a bad spring roll lol). I also had the pineapple fried rice (it was only okay, it lacked flavor the fried rice barely had a tint to it). I also tried the banana dessert, it was pretty good (I’d order that again). The ambiance is very nice, I liked that part the most. They box your leftovers for you which is a nice touch.
At the end of dinner I noticed 18% gratuity on our bill but it was only two of us. That part rubbed me the wrong way (were we being profiled or everyone is automatically billed this regardless of party size? Idk). I didn’t ask about it, wasn’t worth the energy. I paid it and went about my way.
This is THE BEST Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. A true gem.
##Update 03/10
I don’t know what happened to the chef, food was very sweet and not at all like what we ate before. It was a pure embarrassment for me as I took my guest with lots of expectations to this restaurant. They have removed the mandatory gratuity (we were three) this time, but who cares food is not at all nice this time, the restaurant was full with group of people celebrating birthday party and our food was made with negligence, I’m not going back
## February update
It’s a good restaurant when you are looking for some ambience and good food, Kudos to the chef 👩🍳👨🍳 It’s a bit pricey when you are looking to eat in budget, you’d be spending typically $20-$35 for a person including the mandatory 18% gratuity which is understandable considering the location of the restaurant.
Visit this place to pickup your Thai Passport and Boarding Pass 🙂. Just kidding. Sumptuous Thai food in a contemporary setting, interesting menu items. I really liked Khao Soi. interesting drinks and Don't miss the desserts and especially recommend Banana Bombay for the fun experience as well as Taste.
I’ve dined here thrice, portion sizes are small, ambience is good, food has been a hit or miss depending on what you order.
I’d recommend yellow curry over pad Thai or basil fried rice. Service is good, but they’re ready to rush you out the door so -1 for that.
I’ve never had thai food this good. The service is phenomenal. Food is out of this world quality. I feel like plano doesn’t deserve this cuisine. The atmosphere is beautiful too.
Amazing Food, Vibe and Customer Service! This is new go -to! Absolutely love it! Oh and reasonable pricing as well!
I said in my head "oh look another upscale place that probably is all vibes and okay food". I was dead wrong.
The food was great- had the lobster dumplings, pad kee mao, and the fried duck basil over rice. All tasted dericious and some of the best Thai flavors I've had. It is quite overpriced but you're paying extra for the ambiance and service. It is quite expensive for a comparable dish at a casual style Thai restaurant.
Speaking of service, everyone was kind and attentive. They really took care in making sure our food was meeting expectations.
The drinks are a highlight. We both had lychee based drinks. They were strong but the flavors kept the strength of liquor at bay.
Vibes were immaculate and the music was good.
They should rename the restaurant to "Rush Restaurant". After they brought the food, they seemed in so much rush to collect plates. When we were dining, the waitress time and often came and asked if we would like a to-go box or if we were still eating. She even took some plates without asking if we were done. The worst is she took our sake cups when there was still sake in the cup and while we were still drinking. She kept giving that "when are you guys leaving" look. What an experience!
So impressed! Amazing food, service, and ambience. Will definitely be back soon.
Great Thai Restaurant in Plano. Food was very flavorful, atmosphere was warm and inviting. Joy took great care of us and was very attentive. The bartender is a true “mixologist” and performs as such. We will be back. Check it out !
Best Thai food in Dallas. Upscale Thai restaurant with craft cocktails and wine list. Love the spicy dumplings and green curry. We were there tonight and only a few tables. This place should be packed all the time. Get out and give it a try.
Talk about going on a FLAVOR JOURNEY!!.
Creative extra points: The menu is made look like a PASSPORT and the drinks menu is a BOARDING PASS... am up for taking this FLIGHT everyday!!
Thai flavors and spice were just perfect. So many vegetarian options on the menu plus a vegan one. The presentation, ambience and service, everything was top notch. I will definitely be coming again.
Food was overall ok not great. Was more on the sweeter side. We had Tom Kha, Yellow , green curry , pineapple fried rice ( had too many cashews) and shrimp dumplings. Dumplings were good and curries were too sweet for my taste ( it was more than the sweetness of coconut base ). The coconut ice cream was great and tasted like fresh coconut crushed in ice cream.
Do NOT go to the Plano location if you want some of the Lao dishes. When you Google the plano location, then click on "website," it takes you to their website where they post a menu with the Lao dishes. I have been craving the Lao style papaya salad and wanted to try some of their Lao dishes, so we decided to try the Plano location. We were disappointed to see that they had absolutely no Lao dishes on their menu, not even the Lao style Papaya salad. Every dish was Americanized to cater to the western palate. The most "Lao" sounding dish I saw on the menu was a fish dish, "wrapped in banana leaf, with authentic Thai herbs" was a huge disappointment. It was basically a baked fillet of fish, sitting on top of zucchini, served with broccoli and asparagus! No thai herbs in sight, and definitely was not "wrapped in banana leaves." There was nothing Thai about that dish at all. On top of that, the fish was undercooked, so I had to send it back for them to cook it longer. If you want americanized thai food, this place is for you. First time for us, and definitely the last...
The food and additional items come with a high price tag and are not very filling. The taste is decent, but not worth the cost.
Had the Panang stew beef on recommendation by the waitress and it was great! Pad kee mow was very good as well. The Midnight in Bangkok drink was a nice take on a traditional old fashioned with a nice smoky presentation and flavor. Overall it was a great dining experience and look forward to coming back again soon.
Food very good. Service very good. WAY over charge for drinks. Glenvilet 12 was $28... over double what other restaurants charge. Didn’t realize until we left and looked at bill. That is obscene!!!
Excellent food and service. We try something new every visit and they've all been great.
Overall pretty disappointing. The fried calamari has 4 pieces of calamari, the rest is battered and fried veggies. The Khao Soi was overly sweet and the noodles clumped together.
The redeeming factor is their drinks, creative and tasty, but not worth going back for the food
Bit noisy and average Thai food.
Decent place to get some good Thai food
Very overpriced and not authentic Thai food. The location and ambience is nice. Food wise: 1. The noodle soup tastes just like the instant noodle you can buy everywhere 2. Thai ice tea - extremely sweet
PROS: Pad Thai had good flavor, noodles were different but a good different. Prices are fair & the atmosphere is great! The cstomer service is also good.
CONS: Do not get the veggie egg rolls, you can tell they're not fresh & come frozen. They're honestly nasty but their sauce is okay 🤷🏽♀️ & honestly if you like spicy Pad Thai & ask for HOT 🔥 its not spicy. Wish it would've been spicier.
Overall: give them a try! ☺
Nice looking restaurant, unfortunately the food is not that good. There are many much better tasting Thai restaurants in Frisco/Plano/Carrollton
