Low-key destination for familiar soups, curries, rice dishes & pad Thai, with outdoor seating.
Me and my friends visit this restaurant during our trip to Ithaca. I ordered red curry, it was tasty. They said it is spicy but it is not for me. The rice was a bit dry.
My friend ordered seafood fried rice, it was really good.
I also try my friend’s tom yum, it was okay. Not the best tom yum I ever tried.
The spring rolls were dripping oil, but okay enough. The chicken satay was very good. The thai fried rice and curry were okay, but not something we would order again. The drunken noodles were inedible as they were spongy noodles that were drowning in sauce and oil. The restaurant is dirty and sticky, and the food looked like it was half dropped before getting to the table. We had been considering this place for catering but quickly realized it was a definite no. The obvious lack of cleanliness is concerning.
This used to be a go-to both to dine in and for take-out. After this eve, it will be a long while before we try again. We dined in. It took about 40 minutes for our food to come after ordering, just two entrees, to arrive. Some other diners seated after us received their entire meals before we got ours. (Appetizer and meal)
The drunken noodles, formerly a favorite, were inedible. They were spongy, tasteless and just dripping with grease. There didn’t appear to be any seasoning, which I mentioned to our server without any results. I’d asked for extra vegetables, which I believe I got, but most of the veggies were room temperature, while the noodles were warmer. Spicy they were not. My dining partner ordered sweet and sour chicken which he was also unable to eat. Very little chicken.
The server said the kitchen was slammed, which I can appreciate. I hope that our meal was a one-off. The staff is consistently pleasant although sparse; I hope the food quality can be figured out.
Terrible experience and waste of money! I ordered for pick up and when I arrived 30 minutes later, they could not find my order. Said “their machine was not working right”. Like, Seriously!?! The staff was really friendly though and apologized and then got my order to come through quickly, but still made me late. Don’t get the mock chicken! Totally gross. 🤢 it was really soggy like a wet sponge soaking in dishwater. Absolutely no flavor, like do they really think that’s edible for vegetarians!? Do they even taste their own food before serving to the public?
My wife ordered the drunken noodles, which had a 2 pepper heat rating. There was no heat whatsoever and no flavor. She had to request chili sauce to satisfy the heat and flavor profile. I had the broccoli stir fry, which was average. The place needs a good cleaning in the areas that were obvious to the eye...the critical areas one doesn't have access to but I can't imagine it would be any different. It appears the Ithaca health department is understaffed.
Called to place a pick up order. Said it was an hour wait, no problem, I placed my order. Was asked my phone number and was told I'd receive a text when the order was ready for pick up. I did recieve a confirmation text of the order. An hour later I called to check on my order since I haven't received a text yet. The lady was pleasant said she needed my name, I was never asked my name only number. She put me on hold to, 16 minutes later I was still on hold, i hung up frustrated. Called back to be placed on hold again. Waited 5 minutes & hung up. DONE! They can make the food and keep it. Should be no reason for the lack of customer service.
Food was great, pad Thai and yellow curry hit the spot after hiking all morning. Waitress was kind and helpful, only wish maybe there was a little music on as it’s very quiet. Otherwise awesome experience
Easily the most horrible restaurant and service in all of Ithaca. I arrive and am told my order is still being worked on and should just be another few minutes. I wait outside over 20 minutes and go back in to see what is going on and they said one last thing is still being worked on and that it’ll be another 10+ minutes. Since when does “afew more minutes” mean over a half hour?!?! Avoid this place at all costs!!!!

Very good food. They don't always get the order right and are almost always 15-20 min late for pickup time but the food is great. Large servings as well.
The food was incredibly flavorful and the staff very friendly. The beat Thai food we've eaten in the US.
Delicious, plentiful, and excellent service.

Takeout legitimately takes forever. Like the worst system ever. Whatever time the tell you quadruple it. I could learn how to make thai food and open up my own restaurant in the time that it takes them to make Pad Thai. The worst

Love coming here.
I live in Oklahoma now. When I lived in Horseheads, I used to drive to Ithaca for this place. I thought it was the quintessential Thai restaurant. I think it got COVID'd. On my visit to the area, I stopped for dinner. They warned me it was a 20 minute wait. Got the Thai fried rice. It basically tastes like sugar and oyster sauce. No flavor meld. It doesn't look appetizing. There was a piece of noodle on my water glass. They were telling to go customers that if they don't want to wait, they can leave. Imma say it's not what it used to be. My mom used to make me eat ALL my food. One time I didn't eat my food and she stuck a funnel in my mouth and force fed me all my food (that might be an embellishment). To this day I practical always eat ALL my food. Every single rice grain. Today I left half my rice. It wasn't good. I ate what I ate cuz I hate to pay for it and literally not eat any. It wasn't good. Three stars cuz I heard they only had one wok going cuz one broke. Guessing it was an off day and being charitable.
It's a great place and their thai fried rice(seafood) is a must try. Great taste 👌 Highly recommend

Another year has gone by and the restaurant continues its slide. Added a star for the food, dropped to 1 star each for service and atmosphere.
Look, the food is good. Tasty and sometimes well presented. But is it worth the total lack of ambiance and atrociously bad service?
Old ToTE: polite, attentive, well dressed servers (uniformly tidy black clothing). Now: sweatshirts suitable for high school.
Old ToTE: no elegance but tidy plainness. Now: a mess. At least the dining room is clean.
Service: "Oh, sit anywhere," (3/4 empty dining room). 5 minutes later, "Sorry it took so long," (with menus and water). 9 minutes (we're sitting there with closed menus), "Are you ready to order?" Soup for two and two main dishes; specifically asked for spice/condiment tray.
A lot later (another couple had left rather than continue waiting for their order), I inquired whether there was a problem.
"I didn't take your order and (consulting iPad) it was only 27 minutes ago, we're very busy."
Exaggerated 360-degree to confirm the empty dining room.
"We have a lot of takeout orders."
"Should we have ordered takeout?"
"Our wait time is an hour for that."
5 minutes later, soup appeared. A minute or two later—we were still ladling the soup into the bowls—both main dishes showed up. The spice tray: a no show.
We finished the soup along with the main courses. It was dead cold by then.
Was the food worth waiting almost an hour for? In a restaurant with ambiance (like, something to nibble on while waiting), yes. In the case of ToTE ... well, I do not think this word "Express" means what they think it means.

Four years—COVID, plus—have changed this restaurant a lot. This review echoes other recent reviews (sort by "most recent"): not a change for the better.
A month ago, we were told that it was not serving customers; something about a big catering job.
VIsited again, yesterday. The dining room was maybe half full. We ordered appetizer, soup, and main courses. I specifically asked for the condiment tray. After 30-45 minutes, our order arrived. All at once: appetizers, soup, main dishes. The condiment tray never showed up.
The food was tasty, in its own way but did not have the appearance, flavor, or texture it should have had. The Tom Yum soup was a cloudy, spicy mushroom broth with little lemongrass flavor, not at all the flavorful, clear broth we expected. It was more like broth from cooking pasta in leftover mushroom water, with some randomly chosen hot sauce.
The Green and Massaman curries were thin liquids with flavors only a pale shadow of what we're used to. My chicken was overcooked leather. The Green curry was like a sour cream sauce that had sortof walked by a jar that was labeled "mild".
All the entrees were stone cold by the time we'd finished the starters. No nasturtiums or other visual touches. Silverware in a pile, with a pile of paper napkins.
Maybe we were unlucky. The establishment drops from 4 stars to 3, and only that many because of past history and the possibility that it was the cook's first day after spring training at McDonalds.

Previously, some time around 2019.
A very good Thai restaurant featuring many distinct flavors and good service. A nice dining room with an excellent view of NYS Rt.13 (just kidding, it's great to watch the sunsets behind the road).
Some folks tend to shy away from Thai dining, fearing too much spice. Not a real problem. It's a rare restaurant that would make food very spicy (unless you're personally known to them)...they want you to return!
ToT Express shares the Thai tradition of dishes that delight the eye as well as the palate. They must have umpteen differently shaped plates; if you know the shapes, you can almost tell what the folks at the next table are eating, just from the plate.
The decor was plain but the food was just as good and the prices, a bit less than today. Nonetheless, ToT Express is not overpriced...especially by the scale of other Thai eateries.
The service is incredibly bad — the server did not write down the dishes that we order, and forgot half of them. Waited for more than 40 minutes and still did not get the food. Never gonna come again.
Just when I thought there was one reliable restaurant left in Ithaca, I was let down. 7 pieces of tofu in not even a cup of sauce, bulked up with vegetables for $16. First time I have had the food delivered with doordash, but I have been ordering from this restaurant for almost fourteen years and am very disappointed.
I've been coming to this place for years and have always loved the food! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because things have been a bit oily the last few times I've ordered pickup. Otherwise, the staff is always very friendly rather I'm dining in or picking up at the drive thru!
We were told to seat ourselves when we arrived, then we waited & waited. One of us finally got up to get menus & someone finally brought them. Food was good but our server never checked to make sure everything was satisfactory. What has happened to this restaurant?? It used to be so good!! I’m so disappointed.
Great pineapple fried rice
Favorite Thai restaurant, has ruined all other Thai places for us.
Worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. The little bit of food I ate was eh. We were the only ones in the restaurant for atleast 10 minutes. Then everyone (4 other tables) in the restaurant got their food before us. I asked what’s was going on. we were just kinda forgotten about and the waitress accidentally gave a different table our food!? Don’t recommend!!
if you are a delivery driver for grubhub, uber eats, etc. don’t take orders from here. you have to text them when you arrive and they don’t often respond and always make me late which then ruins my rating and pay rate. I’ve never had the food but apparently it’s good so no complaints there but I’ve had similar delivery experiences each time and it’s frustrating. I’m not angry at anyone and I’m not trying to be rude but if you can’t keep up with the pace that the delivery apps expect us to keep up with then don’t sign your restaurant up for them because it damages our livelihood.
They are very short staffed right now, so you will wait if dining in. Food is always good, and options for Thai tea or coffee and specialized sodas.
This place would get a higher rating from me if they didn't over salt their dishes so much, to the point where it was almost inedible. Both mine: Ginger Delight, as well as my friend's Rad Nah (Drunken noodles). And I usually like salty things.
We both liked our appetizers (fresh tofu rolls and Goong Salong). And also the atmosphere and the service were very good.
Always have a great meal. Try to take some home, doesn't always happen
Very slow service. Food was ok but expensive in my opinion.
If we don’t want noodles then we have ordered stir fry dishes in the past that were very good with vegetables as described. This time we ordered garlic platter under "stir fry" but if you think all stir fry dishes have some vegetables, you will be incorrect. It is garlic with whatever protein you want. If you were not to want a protein, then I'd guess you'd get a garlic sauce for $14.95. Because besides the chicken that we ordered in it, there was only sauce. Aside from this strange dish, we got the usual unfriendly, no smile, no thank you for your business. Just a "here you go" when handing over the food to me.
Ordered online for delivery. My food came over an hour past the time they said it would be delivered. This was after I called twice to remind them I ordered. On the second phone call I asked to speak to a manager for a discount. That manager was too busy to talk to me and said I would receive a call back. The manager never called me back and no discounts were applied for the horrible service.
Food was decent. Service was absolutely the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Owner should definitely be looking into the terrible servers. Front staff so busy on their phones outside and fooling around instead of working. Waited over 30 minutes for refills of drinks. Had to ask for refills even though you could clearly see all glasses at the table were empty. Other tables were complaining about the service as well. Servers were oblivious to customers in the restaurant. Three servers and 3 tables....you would think it would be amazing service....get it together people!
Slow service
Food was great. The customer service was absolutely horrible. We did not get any silverware or paper towels. Had to go up to ask for it. Nor did they come by our table to ask if we needed anything else.
Always a nice meal that’s tasty for just the right price. The grab and go drive through is easy and I love the app!
Absolutely love their pineapple rice with protein and the solong gong. The service is ok and everyone seems nice but disinterested.
I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and service is quick and friendly.
I am amending my original review. I went and got takeout tonight with my kids. I got my usual yellow curry level 3. For some reason the food here is inconsistent. The chicken tonight was dried out and the sauce had a cornstarch/flour taste. My kids even said the food doesn't taste right. Depends on when you go. Who are the chefs that can or can't cook? I now cannot go on Tuesdays either. Jeez!!!
Busy night and the food was delicious!!
Lunch menu is good value
The food tastes good, but the food portion is really little.
The table is dirty with left overnight food pieces.
The server long time no show.
Waited over an hour past the time we were told to pick up just to receive cold food. Nothing “express” about it.
I hope they fire whoever is working Friday 4/12/24. Bad attitude as soon as we walked in the door, then left us to wait, then gave more attitude when we asked to be served.
Food is good. They seem understaffed. We waited 30 minutes past when quoted for takeout so 1:15 just to receive takeout. Definitely think twice about ordering during popular times.
Great take out, and you can even get Thai iced tea by the half gallon! In the dining room, the service is always friendly and quick. It's an Ithaca staple!
Taste of Thai Express. Has consistently great food. Never a disappointment!!! No matter what year or what time. Food tastes the same. Excellent!!!
Favorite place to dine in Ithaca. I’ve been dining here for 20 years (on-and-off); they are consistently delicious! Now I get the joy of sharing good Thai food upstate with my kids.
Panang Curry is pretty good, staff was super friendly and when there was a small mishap with my order not only did they fix it but they delivered it for free.
Drive thru is so convenient! Reasonably priced, good value. Our main go-to for takeout. Choo Chee salmon is great.
Paid twice what it should cost for curry and the flavor was terrible. All heat no taste and it came with very little curry sauce in the bowl. $18 for undercooked bell pepper..
So lame
Very Poor services waited for 2 and a half hours for my order and still not here.
I can't stand this place. My family makes me go here from time to time when Tamarind is closed and it's always awful. Everything is either flavorless or way too greasy. Tonight I had Spicy Rad Nah noodles and they weren't wide as advertised on the menu, they weren't spicy, and they were insanely greasy. The mushrooms were undercooked and the sauce was flavorless and underseasoned. They don't use fish sauce in anything. Some of the worst Thai food you can have.
We had great take out, though the cashew chicken needed more cashew.
I ordered the Pad See EW and spring rolls. The food was completely freshly made and authentic. The restaurant is beautiful inside and makes for the perfect place for any occasion. It’s clear that the word express is not for a quick microwaved meal but for the place the taste immediately takes your taste buds.
Everything here is delicious and the staff are friendly knowledgeable Irena answered all my detailed questions and everything exceeded my expectations. Simply delicious! 😚
Next time you guys over cook the pad kee maow I'm bringing it back nd demanding a refund.nothing like noodles that are mush. Not to mention the bone i about choked on.Spring rolls were good that's about it.
Called for food and said 40 mins. Over hour and54 minutes later food still not ready
This was my favorite restaurant when I lived here years ago. I've been twice this year and both times the order wasn't right - the dish was the right one but it was missing key ingredients .
The food also took over 45 minutes to come out the last time- when we mentioned maybe our order got lost bc the table next to us that ordered at the same time had already finished eating and we hadn't gotten our order. They told us that the other group had 6 people so they were prioritized over us (2 people)... by 20+ minutes!
I love me some Pad Thai. I always get it whenever I order from a Thai restaurant, without fail. Taste of Thai Express offers really good sizes for a decent price. Up the street is Tamarind, which has seen smaller portions but higher prices, so I hope ToTE stays gold in that regard. Love the reward system, which gives you points to save for another meal. So, I was able to get even more Pad Thai. Everyone wins.
I've never eaten in the restaurant since they've reopened the lobby post-pandemic, but I've never needed to since I always choose take out. Even so, I have always had a good experience with the ladies at the pick up window, who are never rude. Now, the name "Express" is at best wishful thinking. I've come to get used to needing to hearing them tell me it will take anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes for pickup. I hope it's because so many other Ithacans are getting their Thai fix, but I can't know.
This establishment has built a lot of goodwill with me over two years. Once, they took down the wrong call back number, and so I waited extraordinarily long for them to alert me that the meal was ready. So, they gave me a complementary meal. Another time, there was a mix up with the points system and card I had on file. So, they let me use previous credits right away and continue with the points system instead of completely starting over. Another time I desperately called about 10 minutes before closing to order, not knowing that they actually shut down the kitchen 15 minutes before closing. Yet, they were willing to fire up the ovens one last time for my meal. I was immeasurably grateful. That is the sort of PR that keeps customers coming back, overlooking faults, and even leaving tips. Would give Taste of Thai Express a 5/5, but the time between ordering and eating isn't actually in line with the name. But in my experience, it has been worth the wait.
In the future, I will definitely order more Pad Thai from Taste of Thai Express, and I will definitely enjoy it. Thanks for everything ToTE! Best bang for my buck!
Food was bad - mild curry really wasn't and had a one dimensional flavour of turmeric. Thai chili basil had no basil or chili. We were brought a dish of still frozen chilis to add. Service was slow with no explanation or update, no one did anything to correct the issues we were having. Drive thru pick up window was left open for long periods meaning it was freezing inside. They clearly don't have enough staff in the kitchen or serving. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
Food was really good and came out fast.
Wonderful meal! Rice noodles are out of this world. My son had a spicy shrimp dish and the spice was customized to suit his palate. We will definitely return!
Waited for an hour for food. Everyone is hungry to the stage of syncope almost. And Thai tea isn't like the Thai tea at those common milk tea shops. It almost tastes like unbrew apple orange juice. Other food dishes are great (said By friends)
they don't like delivering on (at least) friday's or 15% isn't enough for a five block trip. getting close to 2 hours.
I had some great lunch here with my girlfriend today. The food was very delicious and the waitress was kind. I was happily pleased to see that the prices were quiet reasonable for the Ithaca area.
I like the decor of the plants surrounded the large windows. It would have been nice to have a little background music as the restaurant was dead quiet but we still enjoyed our meal and would be happy to return again to try all of the other dishes that looked tasty.
Always a family favorite! We wish they would bring back the spice sauce carousel, though. They will bring you some chopped bird chilis, if you like. We enjoyed the Thai basil, pad Thai, and drunken noodle.
Sloooooooow and freeeeezing. Great food if you're not hungry for an hour.
Nice little spot in Ithaca. Food was great and service was fast. Couldn't even eat it all I had to take it to go
Good food. I appreciated the fried tofu. Haven't seen that around much. Service was kind and the price was right. On my next visit, I'll probably sit outside on the patio. The incense burner was confusing my palate. Unfortunately it took away something from the meal, but I plan on trying this one again!
Taste of Thai Express is our go-to for take-out Thai when we are in Ithaca.
Amazing food, every dish was very delicious and flavourful. Great lunch for a decent price - recommend.
Make sure you don’t order any curry foods unless you want to experience diarrhea, the wait time is also ridiculous, 50min…
Wait time for food was way too long. We waited about 45 minutes for our food. Service was slow. Tables were not cleared and cleared until new customers arrived to be seated.
I made a review here a few months ago complaining about the low quality of the food along with pictures and the restaurant reported it as fake to prevent others from seeing it. This is simply ridiculous
Best Thai food in town!
Show up and dine in is order to go and they will plate. Should say something on their site
The food order never reached us at Cornell! A big group was left waiting, and when the place was called, there was a lukewarm response. Our department has now boycotted ToT. Get better at you service and be responsive to and responsible for your orders.
Quick take out. I didn't know in advance but they even have a drive-through to pick up your takeout order. It was good.
Wish we could give a full 5 stars for taste and service... both excellent... BUT we were a little discouraged by the prep: the tails should already be removed from the shrimp (not making the customers dip their hands in their food), the veggies should be cut much, much, much smaller, and they need regular oolong tea. Also... they really need to expand their menu into some more popular and recognizable items. Would we eat there again? Absolutely!
This place tends to be very busy, but the food and the service is great
This is the place to eat. Hands down.
Food was really good!
Ever since these folks took over the old dunkin donuts they provided some of the best food and best customers service you'll ever have. From working at agway and going for lunch to grabbing dinner for the family you'll be satisfied. Thank you for greatness....
Thr best Thai around.
Do not get the Woon Sen noodle salad. It had no flavor except it was fishy, and the chicken weirdly tasted fishy and rubbery. There was even a raw piece of potato in my salad.
Food was delicious and staff was very friendly
Ithaca's best takeout!
Holy wow this place has gone downhill. Used to be one of the best. Waits are insane and food is subpar. Because they're not allowing dine in the restaurant itself is pretty gross now too.
So service is down, quality is down, but you can be certain you're paying more...
Soong Salong was great, first time having it. It was toasty and crunchy with plenty of fried noodles. Spicy fried rice was smoky and spicy, with strips of fresh vegetables.
Ordered to go as the sit down part was not open, we got the drunken noodles and chicken curry both were excellent and extremely flavorful. Meals were prepared in minutes.
Good food and value. Order was ready when promised
We ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, goong salong, chive dumplings, and two orders of the pad see ew. The spring rolls were very good and big, a little greasy though. Goong salong was okay. Not bad but not a favorite personally. Definitely order extra sauce for these items. The chive dumplings had great flavor but I would have liked the dumplings firmer or cooked a little longer. The pad see ew was delicious.
Excellent mais parfois un peu cher pour la recette
Ordered Rad nah. It was absolutely terrible!
Only place I liked my meal so much I ordered another one. This was back when they had done in. We travel up from PA and have to hit this place the pad Thai is unreal. Spring roll and sauce is also 10/10! Just had it today no more dine in. But there is outside tables. Give this place a try.
Extra star for customer service.
Generous portions and delicious food ! Gluten free and vegan options 🌱
Get the online info updated! No dine in!
First experience with Thai food and I'll 100 percent be coming back
Delicious food and moderately priced, been my go to place for thai food for years!!
Love the food but very disappointed to hear they pressured my sister into tipping on a takeout order picked up in the drive thru! My sister was asked "how much would you like to tip" and she tipped $3 because she didn't know what else to do. She called me asking if tipping for takeout is normal here (she lives in south) and told me what they said. What!!?? Why? We ordered 1 thing and picked it up. Not to mention our favorite meal went up $8 dollars over this past year. This tipping stuff is getting waaaaaay out of hand. I'm super disappointed.
Food was great. Just wish they offered dine in but they do have outdoor seating where you take have your take out. Food came out very quickly.
No done in, no parking, did not bother ordering.
This is the second time this month my pickup order has had me waiting in a hot car for over 45 min past when the pickup time was offered!! Hire more staff on days when you have catering jobs so the rest of us aren’t left wasting our precious time and gas money waiting for food that was promised over an hour ago! Completely unacceptable service.
I’m taking time to write this cause the other reviews seem off. We ordered delivery and pick up in the last two weeks due to Covid and too tired to cook. Ima cook and hotel school grad. Each order was over $100…we got a good sampling. Both delivery and pick up were fast and smooth. The food was crazy good. Highlights were Rama noodles, curry, spring rolls and a rice salad. Peanut sauce. Soups were good too. Extra sauces were requested and sent. We ordered online. They open at 11 and this orders are produced AFTER 11.
You can’t go wrong here if my experience is a judge. Never tried before cause these restaurants are always packed when I’m in town. Give it a go.
My favorite Thai food restaurant. Always good, consistent, and great service.
Really really slow in service! It takes forever to get the food! So many desks are waiting at the same time. Slowest ever service I have encountered…
My star is zilch nada none, I went there at 11 when the place opens sign says open so I go to the door and it is locked, I read the signs that say text us your order and we will let you know when it is done, so I texted waited 20 minutes and nothing, I texted again and then called them and no answer, after 25 minutes of waiting I left, 2 hours and 15 minutes later still no text.
Ordered online for pickup. Received Calmari (which were cold and gross) instead of Spring Roll. I didn't check inside the usual Spring Rolls container. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDERS!!! Disappointed, but no worth the hassell of trying to call for a refund.
Always amazing food!
I ordered pick up from this restaurant after reading many reviews. I was totally excited to taste.
I ordered drunken friend rice and drunken noodles too.
The friend rice was literally brunt. I went back to return and she took the box and gave the same one again. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NEVER BEEN TO SUCH RESTAURANT BEFORE
Taste of Thai Express has the best Thai food in Ithaca in my opinion. Lots of vegetarian options that are very flavorful. Massaman curry and pineapple fried rice are amazing. Deducted one star because their pick-up process has been very inconsistent over the last couple years since dine-in closed due to Covid. Sometimes the pick-up is smooth, other times they claim the food isn't ready yet, then when it's finally picked up it's cold, as if it had been sitting on their counter for 30min.
The food here is amazing. Ordering ahead and picking up is a breeze!
Food was great and they were able to make my meal Gluten free!!
Great food, came out fast. Pad See Ew is the best.
Good food, cost to much, setup t get food needs works
I love their food.
Pineapple rice with chicken was fantastic. The spice level was just right too. Left me wanting more after I finished it, it was that good. Will buy again next time!
Thai comfort food at it’s best. They are always consistent and quick!
I love this restaurant and all of their food! Great Thai food and great service!!
Great service and delicious food every time!
The food was delicious but there was a longer wait for the food then expected.
I've ordered from Taste of Thai a couple of times and it's been great. Today, I ordered the same dishes and they were very different. They had a similar off flavor to what I've received at Tamarind. I tip my hat to anyone who can cook/keep a restaurant running. For me to continue ordering from here though, there'd have to be a bit more consistency, because the experience went from :D to :\
Got take out over the weekend and it hit the spot. The Fried tofu was ok, but on the dry side and did not come with enough sauce. The main dishes were great. We had Pad Thai and Drunken noodles.
I'm a little amazed at the number of reviews about slow deliveries. I don't know if there's a difference between lunch vs dinner rush, but I've never had a lunch delivered so quickly. Having meals ready and delivered in 20 minutes is amazing. I got the pad thai and spring rolls, and it was all delicious. Highly recommend.
I used to love this restaurant but the last three times I have ordered takeout it was disappointing. Overly sweet main dishes, very greasy squid, and about half the amount of chicken in the dish than they used to serve. One time the rice was soft and inedible. And the prices have gone up again. So…this was my last try.
I wish I could judge the food but it took over an hour and five minutes before I decided to cancel it. After 25 minutes past pick up time and not responding to calls or texts to find out where my order was I had to wait through the drive through to even cancel my order.
pretty decent
Awesome authentic food!!
Awesome delicious meal.
Always consistent, always incredibly delicious, ready quickly and the food is always A+. Whoever thought the old Dunkin’ Donuts drive thru window in this building would become so handy. Highly recommend the pineapple fried rice and the pad see ew.
They have the best Thai Iced Coffee! ☕ 😋
Mediocre Thai food compared to that in big cities. It’s still good to see Thai food in a small town tho
They didn't inform me when this order was ready, and I had to wait in their parking lot for 20 minutes, could be longer if I didn't call them; with one of my other takeout orders, they forgot to put in tableware, which I can only imagine they intended me to eat the pad Thai using my bare hands.
When I called them, the person answered the phone was not even apologetic, and they just hang you there while pretending to look at your orders. It is just so incredible that they don't even PRETEND to care about your complaints. When you did manage to speak to the manager, all they can think of were excuses. BTW, from what I gather from my conversation with the manager, unless you give them your personal information and they make an internal note, they are going to continue making such mistakes for random customers.
I am not going to order here anymore, and I don't recommend anyone doing so because there is a very good chance it will ruin your day. There are so many other Thai places where they do care about their customers.
Great food
Not as fruitful as it was prior to new administration... when fuel goes up, you get less or charged more for product..but still delicious!
Food is great, and moderately priced.
Ordered 5 dishes, two people enjoyed their meals, one was okay, but the last two were bad. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering again.
Best Thai food in town, pineapple fried rice is particularly good and even better than in NYC. Good choice if you are in the area and wants Asian good. Fast service and the lady took our order was plansant.
This is just Chinese food 55$ for some armature stir fry and curry that was not editable it was way too spicy! I could have ordered from jade all of this and paid half of what they charge!
Unfortunately they still don't offer inside dining. 😕
Delivery never showed up.
The food was great as usual. Its easy to try new things on the menu because most everything is enjoyable to mist everyone. The servers are always very nice and polite. Just watch out pulling in and out of the parking lot, it's rough.
Pineapple fried rice w/chicken and a Thai iced tea. This is The Way!
The food here is always consistent and good
Best pad thai around.
