Went with coworkers for the first time due to the recommendation of a client. Though service was great the place was a bit hot and humid. Noticed multiple fans running and didn’t seem likely the wall mounted AC unit was blowing cold enough air. Anyways, the food was good but not great compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve been too. I would still recommend them just don’t think I will personally return.
The place is clean and welcoming and service is amazing. The owners check in regularly and they are kind people. I drink a lot of water with food and I got refills without ever having to ask. Now the best part is their food! Tom Kha is so flavorful and it had a nice tangy kick to it would def recommend first timers to try it. Also I don’t eat spicy so I chose 0 for my spice level for their range 0-5. Overall an excellent place and my fav. Thai place in town.
Ive been here several times for lunch but I’m just getting around to reviewing it. I like Thai Square. The quality of the food is very consistent and flavorful. I have had several dishes here over my several visits. I’m a spicy guy, so everything I get at any That restaurant is going to be max heat. With that being said, I haven’t had anything here that was unbearable but some dishes have been very spicy.
My last visit , I had the Pumpkin Curry with shrimp. It was very good and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it.
The service is very straightforward. One thing I try to do at restaurants when I go is ask for recommended dishes, even if I’m very familiar with the cuisine. This is one constructive criticism I have for the staff here. I’ve asked and was just told, order whatever I like. While, I am very familiar with Thai food and what I like, a person new to the cuisine or restaurant may not have the confidence to just choose what they like or may not even know what they like. While this is not a huge deal, it is an area for improvement that I saw. In contrast with some other Thai establishments in the area that have been more customer focused when it comes to inquiries about the menu.
The ambiance is casual and relaxed. I have never had to wait long for my food and I will continue to return in the future.
The food here is out of the place. Me and my husband recently moved to Richmond and wanted to try this place for date night. I am a vegetarian and don’t even eat egg so I was super skeptical about trying it. The food is soo awesome and the flavors are soo clean and the spice if fresh…
Celebrated my mom’s bday here. The food was all so good! Small space but we fitted everyone. The spice level was not too spicy. Service was nice.
Tom yum 4/5
Was good and also big sharing size
Spicy fish 4/5
Not that spicy but was good crisp.
Birds nest noodle 5/5
Kids love this dish. Good amount of sauce.
Massamum curry 4/5
Good but small portion
Roti 4/5
Tasty appetizer but also small in portion.
This place is amazing. The coworkers are nice, great food choices, and when we went there there were no people. The only thing is that they only have 2 deserts (don't get me wrong it was great) but I would like it if they had more. I am definitely coming back and that's why I give this place 5 Stars.
Stopped in for a quick lunch - will definitely return here when back in town. We both had Tom kha soup that was maybe the best I’ve had. I had drunken noodle, which is not something I always order, but would definitely order here again. Basil fried rice was the other meal - very tasty! The portions are generous and prepared well. Mango with sticky rice is my go to dessert and it was the perfect ending to lunch. It seems to be a bit of a hidden location in this center and there’s construction making it difficult to see from the road, but it is absolutely worth searching for when a really tasty Thai meal is what you want to eat.
Food - yellow curry was not as delicious as I have eaten at other places however I am a vegetarian so that could have altered the flavors and they charged $4.00 for 4 pieces of pineapple which I requested as an add on , too many potatoes in yellow curry and I did not order extra vegetables in it but I got charged for it and they added them on their own .. the service was average but the staff was polite and helpful .
This place is AMAZING. Best authentic Thai food we’ve had in the Houston area. MAN!!!!!!
Don’t know if they changed chiefs but food is not as good as before.
Celebrated my mom’s bday here. The food was all so good! Small space but we fitted everyone. The spice level was not too spicy. Service was nice.

I enjoy Thai food bc of the spice level; and this place does not disappoint at all! I order from here a couple of times a week and regret nothing!!!! Dine in experience is also very pleasant.
My go to for drunken noodles.
Over all, it's a decent place. Ohhh one thing I like is chicken noodle. Very savory flavor the broth has
The best Thai food in SW houston with reasonable price. Love their food and service is good too! The kitchen got the wrong size of the dish we ordered, after calling the store, the staff was able to make a new one immediately. Our must-go Thai restaurant!
Try the pumpkin curry and fried rolls!!
Not sure what has happened to this place. Ordered through Uber Eats and specified Pad Himmapan “not spicy”. The dish I received was so spicy I couldn’t eat any of it after the first bite. With Uber Eats your recourse is limited, so I got $5 back on a $15 dish that I couldn’t eat! Now does that seem fair???
As a senior on a fixed income I’m not happy!
Had a lovely dining experience.
Had the chef's special that includes a whole tilapia. Was delicious. My dining partner had one curry dish that was a level 4 out of 5 on the spicy scale, and he was sweating.
My level was a 3, and it was perfect.
One star was removed due to the crab wontons. They need a tweak in the recipe.
Great and fast service.
I’ve tried a lot of different Thai places but nothing compares to the ones in the Bay Area. Finally found it y’al. Absolutely love this place
The best garlic chicken I have ever eaten.

Nice family run thai restaurant. Had their Tom kha soup, drunken noodles, fresh rolls, pumpkin curry and rice. Good stuff. They accommodate your spice preferences. Highly recommend!
The food may be good, but they're serving customers dirty dishes.
I recently visited this place for the first time a couple weeks back. When the waitress was taking my order, the first thing I noticed was that the spoon and fork she gave me was dirty and caked in something. I requested her to bring me another one since it was dirty. Once the waitress brought drinks, I noticed the glass cup that she served my boyfriend her coke was also dirty. The inner corners of the glass cup/jar were covered in a white film. I asked the waitress if she could bring a clean cup. The replacement cup she brought was also dirty but at that point we stopped asking and just didn't use the cup. To make matters worse, the bottom of my cup was also dirty and covered in the weird white film but I didn't notice it until the end of the meal.
This is really unfortunate since I actually thought their food was decent. Their fried chicken had a crunch texture I enjoyed and was different from other fried chicken I had. Their rice was good as well. But because they kept giving us dirty dishes I felt like I couldn't trust the cleanliness of the rest of the establishment or the way they prepare their food.
I won't be coming back.
The food here is out of the place. Me and my husband recently moved to Richmond and wanted to try this place for date night. I am a vegetarian and don’t even eat egg so I was super skeptical about trying it. The food is soo awesome and the flavors are soo clean and the spice if fresh…
LOVE THE SPICY BEEF SALAD!
Had the massaman, pla goom, crispy egg rolls and thai tea. Not a SINGLE complaint. Everything was so good and comforting. Will DEFINITELY be returning.
Thai Basil Chicken is awesome. It's made of ground chicken and seems very authentic.
Food was great as well as service. atmosphere could improve a little.
My boyfriend and I dined here a couple of days ago and received terrible service and horrible attitude from the woman serving us. We informed her that we didn't like one of the dishes we received, and instead of offering to take if off our tab or replace it, she asked WHY very rudely multiple times, seemingly offended that we didn't like the food. She stomped off to grab another menu after my boyfriend asked for one. She never even returned to our table to ask what we wanted instead and at the end of our meal, asked us if we wanted to pack up a dish that we didn't want/like. The gentleman at the front kindly took it off our order after we explained our situation because she didn't want to take it off our tab for us.
Overall, just ok Thai food and horrible service.
Went with coworkers for the first time due to the recommendation of a client. Though service was great the place was a bit hot and humid. Yay!
A mom and pop shop serving good thai food.
Love it. We are becoming regulars.
They are not afraid to spice it up.
This place use to be bar none best thai in this area. Very consistently good for last 2 years. But maybe they changed management or something cuz they've gone down hill to average.
The pad thai has very little chicken and the tofu taste sour like it's past its prime.
I do not recommend this place over other thai places anymore.
Great food! Their pork jerky is crazy good, we have to order it every single time... the name can throw you off, but this is a must try. Our favorite in town. We've only had take out from here, but we order here at least every other week. We have a problem.
Try their Khao soi with medium spice and egg noodles... it's extremely tasty and addicting -- I want to order again just writing this out.
My wife's favorite Pad Thai place. Good massaman curry as well.
Mango sticky rice... always good here when in season.
Their Moo Yang pork is very good. First time we had it I couldn't believe I've been missing out on this my entire life.
Our go-to Thai place for delivery in our area.
Ordered Pad se ew, isn't as good as other places, seems like the beef isn't cooked on a frying pan with the sauces rather added and cooked via boiling water. Thus it lacks flavor and the beef tastes "different" from the rest kf the dish.
I got take out from here. Pad Thai and drunken noodles. The Pad Thai was very disappointing. The noodles were stuck together and the taste was just alright. The drunken noodles were better. It’s a cost efficient place. $23 for two dishes. Would not be my go to Thai restaurant.
Everything is delicious but today I had the Tom Yum Soup with Chicken and medium spice and it was awesome!
My brother in law is both Thai and a chef so when he says it tastes good he means it.
Great Service, and the food was incredible. Eating here is a must.
This place is amazing. The coworkers are nice, great food choices, and when we went there there were no people. The only thing is that they only have 2 deserts (don't get me wrong it was great) but I would like it if they had more. I am definitely coming back and that's why I give this place 5 Stars.
Ordered Pad Thai, Gang Dang, Pra-Ram and roti with curry sauce as appetizer. Every item was very tasty, didn't disappoint!! This place is a keeper. Recommend highly!
Edited 5.12.2024
No longer 5 stars! Quality of food and taste has deteriorated since it first opened. Don't know what happened, but it's not the same!
We went out as a family dinner & we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious & authentic Thai cuisine.
My husband and I are obsessed with the pineapple fried rice here! Best I have ever had!
It was delish the toilet was haunted 5stars
Lunch "special" is ridiculous small portions lots of fluff skimp on chicken and overpriced. Just better off ordering from the regular menu!
I have lived in New Territory for the past 20 years. I’ve heard great things about the food at the establishment. I have visited this place about 2 times and the customer service is horrible. The Thai lady that’s handles the orders goes above and beyond to slap my payment card and receipt on the counter. She never gives me my money from her hand to mine. I held my hand out and she puts my card underneath my hand. How disrespectful!!! So if you are African American this is the treatment you will receive and she is the owner of the establishment.
Ive been here several times for lunch but I’m just getting around to reviewing it. I like Thai Square. The quality of the food is very consistent and flavorful. Excellent taste and great restaurant for Thai food
Came here for a quick lunch. It can get busy! Ordered chicken Penang and pad see ew. Both were excellent. Portion size is good. Service was attentive. Will be back for sure!
Salmon curry with mango and tiger cry steak.
Lots of tofu and hardly any chicken in the chicken pad Thai definitely will not be back
The curry fried rice is amazing! Highly recommend. In fact, everything I've tried has been delicious!
Excellent food with friendly service. Great lunch place.
Is my first time experiencing in and I have to say is a 10 out of 10 food came out really fast and it was amazing the drunken noodles specially, with one of the best the crab Rangoon was good I haven’t tried the salmon here but it’s good to cucumber salad please is the most
Best Thai food in Houston (in my opinion)
Before you read!!!
This place is super crowded at peak hours for dinner, so I recommend coming early or later for better service.
Great, flavorful, and tasty food
Service was amazing (very nice servers)
The atmosphere was nothing short of amazing - well decorated store with a good feeling
I tried the chicken wing as a change, and to my surprise, it was the best wing I have ever had!
5/5 stars ⭐ (will come again)
Highly recommend this cozy and welcoming restaurant. If you like Thai food this is your place!
Being here twice , food has alway being good, presentation is great tastes great .
Good was good
I recently visit this place and had a very pleasant experience. I only focused on food and quality, service, cleanness (including bathrooms), and price because these are the things that really matter when eating out.
Parking was easy. I was promptly greeted upon arrival and invited to seat. Place is unpretentious and modest but adequate. Staff was friendly and quickly took my order after explaining the menu.
Food appetizers came quickly followed by a very nice Tom Yum soup following my instructions for low spiciness. Pad Thai was very nice as well. All ingredientes felt fresh and nicely balanced. I asked for food to go, and the waiter was very nice and added a few freebies rolls to my order (besides the ones I requested). The to go food tasted as nicely as the dining in one.
Prices were very affordable and amount of food was not as much as other places but more than adequate (which is fine, I prefer to pay a little bit more for good quality food than to get plenty of inedible stuff on the cheap).
Overall a very nice place to eat, with very friendly staff, and at the right price. Will visit again for sure, and this time vist the restrooms
Bad service
Don’t stay open til 9:30 close early and food is average. Would go to another Thai place
Food is good but don’t order medium if you cant do spicy because medium is hot!!!
The place is clean and welcoming and service is amazing. The owners check in regularly and they are kind people. I drink a lot of water with food and I got refills without ever having to ask. I have been eating at this restaurant for the past two years or so. I usually come every other month. I started with the different types of curries. They are excellent! They have lots of vegetables and meat in them. I recently started trying their entrée options. I love them so far. The restaurant is clean, well-organized, and family-owned. They treat you with great respect and service. I live almost twenty minutes away, and their takeout food preparation boxes keep my food hot as if it came off a stove. They have many protein options, such as chicken, shrimp, and beef. I highly recommend this place if you like to eat Thai food in a small mom-and-pop restaurant. I will be back in the future.
Food was actually great. Service was very good. But order takeout or delivery for the best experience. The restaurant is very plain, bland, sparse, and frankly, dirty. The doors back to the bathrooms are covered in greasy black fingerprints as is just about everything in the bathroom. The whole back area looks as if it hasn’t been cleaned in years. The kitchen walls and ceilings are yellowed with grease. Makes you wonder about their hygiene in general.
Best Thai food I've had. And I've had a lot from different places. Get the roti and cucumber appetizer, the bird's nest with your choice of protein and for dessert, the roti or the mango and coconut rice😊😊😊
The food is so tasty, I eat here so much and never get tired of it.
10/10 recommend 😉👍😍
Excellent food. The place is not too large. Very busy. Needs more AC.
Excellent food. Very poor service the lady that runs it can be very rude and abrupt. She was understaffed, but even if you are in rush, treat customers nicely. Disappointed in the way she spoke to multiple customers.
Note their food is amazing, you deserve the success, however please improve how you treat customers.
Vegatarian options, loved the drunken noodles.
Great food and fantastic service. The ladies there were super nice and provided great recommendations on what to order. We will be back for sure!
Ordered chicken basil fried rice. Quoting Uncle Roger: "This rice looks so wet. You can see your reflection inside. Mulan is going to start singing if she sees this rice." Taste was good though, would've been perfect if it wasn't so wet. Otherwise, the restaurant overall is quite authentic; I would come back and try other items even though service was minimal and the floor was a bit sticky.
It has become only better.. Best Thai restaurant in all of Houston and Sugarland... the owner ... her name is May... personally served us... great service... very tasty food... good quantity as well... very clean restaurant and very good ambience... we will be visiting again... what can I say... best Thai food ever... has gotten better
Tom yum and tom kha soups are the best I've ever had!
Wings are 🔥
Delicious! Just happened to be passing by and stopped to take a peek inside. It wasn't busy, the smells were enticing, and I was given a warm and friendly welcome so I decided to give it a try. Delicious! Food was perfect, appetizer was so good, I ordered another. I had Pad See Ew for my entree and medium spicy was exactly what I was hoping for - just enough heat without masking any of the flavors. Noodles were perfect, veggies well cooked, but still crisp. Highly recommend!
Everyone that works there is extremely friendly, except for the Thai lady that handled the orders tonight. Extremely rude to my guest that was a woman of color. She said go red her, and only spoke to me until my guest spoke up. Until then she completely ignored her, and even then she was very short, rude, and vague. I wanted to get up and leave but we had already ordered, and we’re hungry. I will not return nor bring anyone of color with me to this place. We are in 2023 and there is no room for bigotry.
Everything from spring rolls .. to fried rice to flat noodles.. to curry. Not one thing that disappointed.
Flavor keeps getting intense as you eat each bite. And very well spiced.
Best Thai in the area!
I think we come here at least once a month - love everything we’ve had so far and always look to trying new items each visit.
Excellent food, service, & price!
Delicious food & very kind staff! Lots of options for every kind of taste. One of favorite spots to order take out during the week!
Recommend pad Thai and salad. 🥰
Just wow every single time.
You can order or join in! The restaurant is small yet worth the flavor! Very clean and friendly staff.
Check out their lunch specials.
Honestly delicious!
Best Thai food I have had in Houston. Way better than I expected. Had the drunken noodles and curry chicken.
Best Thai food in Fort Bend county. Closest to authentic you can get around here. Easily as good as Thai Gourmet in Houston (Richmond Ave). If you are looking for "real" Thai food, this place is it.
Just did a take out order, Kao Soy and Ginger Thai. We had specifically asked for Vegan. Unfortunately, when we took the order home the Kao Soy was not vegan and the soup base had fish sauce. The ginger Thai was great with excellent flavor and Vegan. But very dissatisfied with the Kao Soy!
The Moo Yang with sticky rice changed my life.
Absolutely delicious, especially the Thai tea! Never had better!!!
Food is delicious every time.
Hot and fresh Thai food ...always delicious and lots of food for the price.
The taste of the food is on point!! I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't regret.
Great food, great service, very fast and reasonably priced! Our choice for Thai for lunch.
Went in not expecting too much, but man was this good! I got Drunken Noodles and my husband got Gang Koor. It was so good! The perfect meal to have on a cold, rainy night
We will absolutely be coming back here!
Everything is AMAZING!!!
Great find for Thai food! Pad Thai was delicious and spicey. We will definately be back!
Best basil fried rice ive ever had! Amazing restaurant 😍
Best food and services ty
Ordered the pad Thai. It was excellent. Service was prompt friendly courteous and decor was very nice.
I ordered through Uber eats. I got pad Thai, chicken noodle soup, and shrimp fried rice. The fried rice is so bland I’m basically eating white rice it’s so bad it has no flavor. The pad Thai is decent but not great. The soup however, it’s so salty that I couldn’t even take one bite of it. very disappointing
UPDATE: a year later and we still eat here alllll the time. I’ve now tried a lot more dishes and I love this place even more now! Our favorite restaurant.
We live very close to this restaurant and we are so grateful they opened! Quick and tasty takeout! Unfortunately- I haven’t tried that many dishes because I crave the Pad See Ew continuously, so I’ve had that 3 times and it’s delicious. Maybe I’ve finally gotten my fill and can start to try other plates… maybe. My fiancé has really enjoyed their Pad Thai and the Pad Makuer, I’ve tried a bite of those too and thought they were great. We also love the crispy shrimp rolls- how are these so good!? Please support this great local restaurant so I can selfishly continue to enjoy them for many years to come!!
Good food served fresh and hot.
We tried this place for lunch. Dishes we tried: Panang curry chicken and Prik Khing chicken. Both dishes were great. Medium is spicy 🔥
Not to the Thai standards. Ordered basil fried rice and pad Thai . Fried rice was too hard and sticky and pad Thai wasn’t great as well .
Great local Thai restaurant. Food always tasty and fresh. This is our goto place. So lucky to have it close to home!
Saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try as I've been looking for a decent Thai restaurant near my house. I'm happy to say I have no regrets. We ordered pad Thai, chicken wings and yellow curry and everything was delicious, hot and fresh. Will definitely be coming back.
Good food but when you order take out don't expect them to give you any sliverear or napkins .I have order three times and always have to go back and ask for sliverwar and napkins. Not a good place if you want to grab something quick to eat.
Restauramt smells bad , AC was turned off , very HOT and upon request to turn on the cashier got upset and started talking VERY rudely .
Very good customer service. Food was delicious. Each item had great flavor
I was surprised at how authentic this place was. A little hole in the wall a group of us stumbled on. They were amazing, took care of our big group and the food was fantastic. Will be a frequent spot from now on
Pad Ginger was great
I've been to a several Thai restaurants in the Sugarland area and this (so far) is one of the best. Highly recommended! Very tasty.
We ordered take out. Best Tom Yum we've found in Houston. Red and green curries are excellent. Highly recommended.
Delicious food and great service!
Great food but pricey and small servings.
Gang Keaw Wann and Crying tiger were amazing. Food came out fast. Will definitely come back or order to-go.
Excellent food. The Tom Kha soup was authentic, with plenty of lemon grass & galangal. I was pleasantly surprised. The Pad Thai chicken was excellent. Could have used some more green onions though, if just for texture. We will be back again!
excellent authentic Thai food !
Very disappointed in the Tom Yum soup (Best ever is at The Nines), staff was only one lady who worked so hard she did not have time to be friendly, had to pay $2 for small scoop of rice. Not nearly enough for my small party of 3. I like to go to restaurants that greet me and are friendly, believe me a friend waitress can make your day.
great food! This place is really close to home so its a easy pick for a weekday or weekend bite to eat. staff is nice and tables clean. They even know us and how spicy we like our food we are there so often!
The food as amazing! There's plenty of variety and it's a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth bringing friends and family over. I had the curry hands down one of the best dishes in that lovely restaurant.
Penn is super aware. I dont have to raise my hand nor say anything, she can read cues down to the T. She is helpful. The food is excellent, the Panang with chicken is as spicy as you would love it. I got level 3. Comparably, hot cheetos (even though nasty to me) would be a level 3. It was hot but not ridiculous. Roti was great.
Great service, great food. Need I say more?
Food was sooooooo good, service was fast, staff was friendly. I’m hooked!!!
We visited for lunch and it was not busy at all. The food was great. We had the Basil Fried Rice and the Drunken noodles. Both tasted awesome. We asked for spicy level four and it was a delight. They had several carry out orders going out through the time we were at the restaurant. It was neat as well. Location is off Alt 90 and Grand parkway.
We enjoyed this place. They serve halal chicken and beef but please confirm for yourself.
The tom yum was on point. Basil fried rice was slightly greasy but still good. All the curry dishes were really good!
Food is delicious. Highly recommended
