Local Thai chain serving curries, noodles & other traditional dishes in a relaxed, stylish setting.
First time here, and only 2nd time trying Thai food. I liked it!!! I had the Beef Superb and my bestie had the Prick Pao chicken. Both were very flavorful! The lunch portion comes with white rice. The dinner portion is double the meat/veggies without rice.
I liked how the restaurant was decorated. They have a bar with cocktails. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.
I'd go back and try the duck. I've never had duck.
Just wow! From the start, the service was outstanding. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth, and it wasn’t just the smiles—it was the way they seemed truly happy to have me there. And then, there was Simon, the owner. He floated through the dining room, making each guest feel like they were the most important person in the world. Simon isn’t just the heart of the place; he’s the spark, entertaining guests with stories that kept us laughing and completely at ease. At one point, he shared a story about the time Harrison Ford dined there, and he admitted he had no idea who Ford was! It’s that kind of unfiltered charm that you don’t forget.
I ordered the yellow curry with chicken, and each bite was better than the last. The curry had a rich, creamy coconut milk base, balanced with just the right amount of savory and acidity. The texture was fantastic, with crinkled potatoes adding a unique touch and crunchy peppers that kept each mouthful interesting. Pineapples in the curry were a pleasant surprise. It isn’t traditional, but it worked here, adding a sweet contrast that elevated the dish. Now I don’t want curry any other way! And let’s talk about the Thai iced tea—this was on a different level, one of the best I’ve ever had.
Between the quality food, the service, and Simon’s stories, this restaurant is an absolute gem—a place that feels both familiar and adventurous. It’s not often you find a place that nails food and hospitality like this. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this is it.
We just picked up some spicy noodles, bacon friend rice, dumplings and bacon crab Rangoon to take home from the food truck behind Tin Bridge Brewery. OMG we are blown away how amazing the food is!!!! It’s cooked perfectly, tastes amazing, and might be the best Thai food we’ve ever had.. and we’re picky!!! We highly recommend stopping at their place in south Hadley… or wherever their food truck is!!! Five stars is less than I would’ve given. They’re much better than 5 stars.
Omg love the pho bowl with the broth it is so delicious. I added a little bit of hot spice yum finger licking good. Even tho it doesn't need it but I wanted spicy.
My friend invited me to come here and eat again. I was impressed by one thing that I wish naruto in NY had a bigger bowl for your food. This time I got the house pho but wish the meats had flavor, the chicken and the beef was bland but like always the broth makes up for it and the shrimp. The Shirley Temple wasn’t that great.
I had a craving for pineapple fried rice (you know, with yellow curry powder and... Cooked). I'm 7 months pregnant and drove 40 minutes, round trip, to get take out because Springfield has no Thai food. My husband got the house fried rice with beef.
Not only was the pineapple fried rice barely cooked and just white rice, the beef was uncooked as well. I wish I could explain the odd color of the beef better than the picture, it was putrid looking. Nothing fried about either and we threw $40 worth of food in the trash. So disappointed and won't be back.
This is indeed the best Thai in the Valley!

This place is very good food and reasonable price, service was also very good!
Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and fantastic food! I’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints.

I literally love this place I recommend this place for everyone
Omg love the pho bowl with the broth it is so delicious. I added a little bit of hot spice yum finger licking good. Even tho it doesn't need it but I wanted spicy.

Great food. Quiet place to meet up with friends and family.
Although we arrived after the lunch rush and before dinner properly begins for most folks, the kitchen had our delicious appetizers and meal ready swiftly. The person serving us was both polite and attentive. Our food was utterly delectable and presented beautifully and the pricing was reasonable.
If you're a vegetarian, steer clear of this place. Despite asking multiple times to confirm that what we were ordering was vegetarian, we were still served chicken spring rolls. When we pointed out the mistake, it felt like the staff either didn’t care or weren’t taking us seriously. After that, the food just went downhill. Everything else we ordered was bland and tasteless, leaving us completely disappointed. It's frustrating to have such a simple request ignored, and to top it off, the lack of flavor made the whole experience even worse. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you're looking for good, vegetarian-friendly food.
Fantastic local spot with great food! Wonderful service, thoughtful and careful to make sure dietary restrictions are covered. Delicious food, great drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). I always recommend them!
Went there on a Sunday. I was very confused because the place was not busy at all but the food and the service was amazing. You can definitely tell it's all fresh food. I'm going again for sure. Worth the drive.
I'd like to use my hands to eat in which case a warm wet towel after the meal would be appropriate at the minimum some wet naps cloth napkins somehow don't clean the sticky off your fingers we ended up using the cloth napkin and our water glass to clean our fingers.
Over 20 minutes to get anyone to take my order-that's after I told them I was in a hurry, please take my order! The food is just ok. Service Sucks a big one! I won't return!
Worst experience ever!! Two of our four people at our table got their food and almost 10 minutes later we had two people in our party that didn’t have food so we approached the manager and he seemed frazzled. Meanwhile parties were coming in after us and getting their food within minutes and leaving and we still didn’t have our food. We were only offered 20 percent off our bill for their mistake which they never took off and we never got an apology. We even had to wipe down our own table that had sticky sauce in it!! Never again!!
The sever was every nice did not act mean and gave us free food.
The server was really nice gave us free crab raggoons very good over all really nice place to go to if you want food
This was my 2nd takeout order, the first time was so good I couldn't wait to be out in the area again to reorder, this time I was so disappointed, I ordered Mango Chicken which was basically flavorless and Chicken fried rice was so bland, this is the same thing I ordered the first time so I don't understand how it changed so drastically. 2 items and a half pint of white rice for 36.00!!! I won't be back. Also you don't include any soy sauce packets with take out?
Had a great experience here, the food was awesome, i loved the coconut soup & the crispy beef appetizer too. a great place!
Amazing food... Great staff 👍
Great!
Great food and impeccable service.

My favorite restaurant, been going since I was a kid. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Avoid the food truck. They are unable to manage their orders.
Great curry and great service
We ordered Pho to go and they ask if you would like all the sauces that come with it (shriracha hoisen chili oil etc) and for the forth time they didn't give it to us but charged us for it and refused to give even a partial refund. Very rude manager and not interested in customer satisfaction at all.
Delicious Thai food. The lemongrass chicken is the best meal ever.
Usually decent, staff is nice, expensive for the quality and area.
We just picked up some spicy noodles, bacon friend rice, dumplings and bacon crab Rangoon to take home from the food truck behind Tin Bridge Brewery. OMG we are blown away how amazing the food is!!!! Literally writing this on our way home it was so good. We just moved to town and have been trying different restaurants - Thai place is going to be a staple for us! We ordered the veggie rolls, crab rangoon, pad mee, pad Thai, and green curry with sticky rice. The owner was super friendly and we had great service. Would highly recommend, can't wait to come back and try more dishes.
I love coming here the tom kha soup is delicious and so is the yellow curry.
Mmmmmm!!! My boyfriend and I shared beef pho and mango chicken curry and both were amazing. I highly recommend this place.
Food was delicious 😋
Best Thai food ever! Simon was cooking that night. He’s the best!
Some of the best Thai food around. Amazing food, staff and service.
The BEST pho I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of pho.
The food SO GOOD, especially recommend the mussels (for the spicy broth—we took just the broth home it was so good), the lemongrass chicken, and if they have it on special, the mango crispy chicken curry—the crispiest chicken in a coconut curry sauce with vegetables and a large slice of fresh mango on top. Beautiful presentation, delightful flavors and textures. They have a good wine selection and the atmosphere is soothing and comfortable. Waitstaff is attentive but not intrusive. My favorite place in town!
Had the Thai crispy duck with veggies, it was sweet and flavorful and the duck had a great crunchiness and my wife had the mussels with sticky rice, they make it with a great tamarind sauce, the staff were always there if you needed anything. Thanks Simon for a great meal. They also have plenty of parking.
I got the spicy noodles which were delicious and flavorful. The portions are generous, so I was able to take some home to enjoy it a second time. I also had the pleasure of speaking to the owner, who is an absolute delight.
We went to the Thai Place Cart at Tin Bridge Brewing. The couple running the cart were friendly and hilarious, and the food was amazing. Best pad Thai I’ve had in ages! We will definitely be checking out the full restaurant soon!
We ate at their food truck at the Tin Bridge Brewery. The staff are very friendly and fun! The food is delicious and they were accommodating to dietary restrictions!
Take out fried rice was white not delicious. Had the thai place platter don't bother not worth it. Will not go again.
Harrison Ford and 348 Google reviews can't be wrong! My friend and I have been coming here for almost a year whenever we're feeling the urge for takeout and every meal I've gotten here has been satisfying. Sweet, savory, and liberally portioned. One of my favorite dishes is the lemongrass chicken.
Fantastic food !!
charged $37 for a $31 order when i didn’t tip for carry out. food was mediocre at best
If you enjoy Thai cuisine then look no further !
The Thai Place will satisfy your palate.
You can feel the love in their cooking !
Local farms are supported... so "fresh" vegetables and herbs are guaranteed.
The friendly knowledgeable staff provides professional quality service upon arrival.
Too many great meals to list them all.
The Mango Chicken is superb!
My personal favorites are the duck dinners..Thai Place or Tamarind...both melt in your mouth...the sticky rice is a must for me. Their PHO (a soup with options of chicken beef or seafood) is an all season Thai favorite.
Even a cozy bar with a TV...friendly bartenders...plus many appetizers to handle the munchies.
Definitely one my top places to enjoy genuine Thai food and a good drink.
Going 10+ years...A must try location !
This is duck with fresh local asparagus and sticky rice... a delicious cocktail rounds it off...👍🏼
Reminds me of an old Pizza Hut for some reason. I don't think it is though. Food was very delicious, service great, loved our waiter.
Been trying to find good chicken pad thai thats not dry. Since alabama we have been trying and this place is delicious! Best thai food we have found!
An authentic Asian restaurant serving your favorite dishes, and some you may have never tried....always a treat !!!
Delightful food & wonderful service.. A place to be!
My first visit very clean food was excellent service was excellent also quaint atmosphere
Travellers, Thai Place is a solid restaurant that serves delicious food. We went for lunch and we were not disappointed. The steamed chicken dumplings are yummy. They are delicate and delicious. The sweet soy sauce went nicely with the dumplings. The Tom yum seafood soup was good but there was a sweetness that seemed out of place in the savory soup. The pho was outstanding. Especially with the spice rack spices. The pad see eaw was very good. It is with black bean paste and to the sweet side. The pad Thai was delicious and perfectly cooked. This was a great place for lunch. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is with a smile. Check it out. We recommend.
TLDR solid Thai food
My favorite place to get some Pad Thai! The food is always on point
My first experience at Thai Place was good overall. I specifically enjoyed the friendliness of the restaurant owner with his patience and joyous attitude towards me and my friend.
My dinner selection of Pork Fried Rice was very well balanced in texture and flavor. The spice heat level was acceptable for the dish, not too overwhelming. However, my Thai Iced Coffee had too much ginger in it. I would suggest adding less.
The atmosphere had one element that was strange to look at. Please consider removing the standing picture at the bar. It's a little off-putting. I was staring at it the entire time during dinner as I was talking.
Good food
Great place, great food, but the service seems to get slower when Simon is not around. Simon makes the place so amazing.
Papaya salad & Tong Yum Seafood soup we ordered were purely Salt. You will need to either eat with the cabbage or drink a gallon of water with it.
Pai Tai was very watery and again with Sour & Salty taste- yes it came like that . Another gallon of water please.
If you Shrimp with Cilantro - do expect only 4 extremely salty shrimp with minimum cilantro. It comes with lots of vegetable underneath which is finally “NOT” so salty.
However, we like the drinks, Typhoon & Red Dragon. That is about it :(
amazing food, great atmosphere, wonderful staff. highly recommend to everyone
Great atmosphere, fantastic food. Can’t beat that neighborhood feel
Their Thai tea is straight up sugar. Food tastes ok. The server just dropped off the food and never came back till the check.
Absolutely great Thai Food
Prices have just about doubled portions or smaller not as good as it used to be sorry I used to love this place
This is the best Thai food in the area, loved the food, atmosphere and service.
I got a chicken pad thai. There was barely any chicken, it was all noodle. The sauce tasted good but paying 20 dollars for white noodles? Nah.
I got spring rolls and the sauce was all watered down as well.
Looking at recent comments, I hope the owner realizes it's not a good move to skimp on protein and get cheap on sauces. It just tells me the business is dying.
very very good thai food. i will be back.
Our waiter was the nicest server ai have ever seen. When we explained we had never been there he explained the menu. He told us things may be sweet but they could go light on the sauce. Our dinners were delicious! We are definitely going back!
Food is amazing, especially given the reasonable pricing. Servers are all extremely friendly and casual, atmosphere is low key while being well decorated and inviting. Nothing other than a 5/5!
Simon, the owner is awesome, very inviting....love the appetizers and fried rice.
Always a pleasant experience. Smon and his staff are courteous and fun. Food is delicious. A hidden gem.
Probably one of the best restaraunts in western mass... Harrison Ford even knew to come eat here!
Simon and the staff at Thai Place care about the customer experience and provide an overwhelming menu of of fantastic dishes. It's one of those rare restaurants where you get excited to try something new, rather than stick to the safe choices of previous visits. It's a sin to skip the appitizer menu and I recommend the spicy Thai chicken wings, golden cups, Thai Rolls and the best Crab Rangoon ANYWHERE.
Thai place ramps it up even more with dinner choices... The many different kinds of curry, rice. Noodles, and my personal favorite, pho noodle soup always prepared to my own preference of heat. Absolutely love it.
Lastly, this is also a great place to come sample some fantastic drinks.... The bar serves my favorite cocktail, "Thai me up" and they import fantastic Thai beer like Sing-ha and Beer Lau.
Thai place should really be a regular stop if you're into good food!
Excellent Thai food, love this restaurant!
Highly disappointed in my experience here. The milk in my drink was curdled, and the food options are sub par.
Best Thai food in the valley, and best service. We do not get there often enough. ❤🍜🍚
If you like Thai food this is your place. The spices are the real deal. Yummy.
Wow, I have always liked this place: the food is tasty, the portions healthy, the ingredients good. HOWEVER, the last time I went there (June 2002), the noodle-chicken-and/or-shrimp dishes were a BIG disappointment! In the Pad Thai dish, the portion was the usual, but i had to actually dig around to find 2 TINY shrimp and 2 SMALL pieces of chicken. It was all noodles and a little fried egg. Same with the Lover’s Scampi: very heavy on the rice and vegetables, very skimpy on the shrimp. I felt cheated. WHAT HAPPENED???
Love love love this place!!!! The food is excellent and you get a good portion for the price. Their sticky rice duck and fresh spring rolls are my favorites!!!!
Food was outstanding. First ti.e ever going here and will definitely go back. Took some home too. Owner is an outstanding person also.
Everything are delicious
The duck is delicious
The food here is always good and the customer service is great no complaints weather you eat there or get takeout
I was disappointed with the Pho and fried dumplings, but I would go back to try Thai dishes in the future!
Pho was fantastic
Thai place has awesome Thai food! I got the panang curry, and it was the second best panang curry I’ve ever had. Big portions. We also got the golden cups and an app. Would not recommend. But everything else was delish!
Wide selection on menu, good food, great service
Simon is the best!
Excellent service and Excellent food.
Ordered Spring rolls and the Raviolis to warm up and finished it with some Pho. Everything was on point. Simon was the best!
Very disappointed about the food , overpriced and little amount. If I have never tasted Thai food before I would say ok. 6 quarter sized fish cakes for $7.75, $9.75 shrimp tempura consist of 3 shrimps and 6 pieces of broccoli. Tom yum shrimp soup made with tomatoes…really?? R u guys from Thailand… I can’t believe it. Never going back there …$16 shrimp fried rice had no flavor, no salt no spices … seafood medallion is full of imitation crab meat and full of carrots….
We decided to try this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised...the food was excellent and the service was great... we will be going back very soon
Very good food and very friendly and entertaining service. Sit at the bar if you are up for a laugh.
Best thai in a 50+ mile radius. Very good food, very good. Really. It can be pricey but I suppose you get what you pay for. At least that's what people say
Best Thai food ever great menu, amazing staff. My go to Thai place.
Good Thai food. There are 2 restaurants one is located about 1 mile off pike Sturbridge exit and the other is located on rt 202 in Granby. Limited bar at the restaurant in Sturbridge wider bar menu at the restaurant in Granby. Staff is usually friendly prices are fair portions are good. Restaurant is clean.
조용하고 카레가 특히 맛나네요
It was very good I left very happy 😊...
Excellent as usual!
Great spicy food
Such good food!
very tasty food
Very very good! Light and never greasy. Great flavor and reasonably priced.
The food is fresh and so delicious! I’ve had pad Thai in many different restaurants but this one is to die for! The staff is funny and friendly, makes you feel comfortable. This will be my new favorite place to eat! Drinks are yummy too
The food was very good. Enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely be going back again.
Nothing fixes a rainy Sunday afternoon like amazing food " chicken pad Thai and lad nar" and great service from the one and only Simon!
I recently moved to the area from Worcester and the sister locations "formerly bahn Thai" and currently Thai place Shrewsbury were always so good. When I found out there's another location out here I had to try and it certainly fantastic still
Highly recommended!
Delicious food, prompt service, and friendly staff. The owner loves to chat at the bar - especially when zombie plagues aren't going around.
Please!!!! Ease the use or msg in your food. I had edema for days!!!
This quickly becoming our goto for Thai food. So far, we've enjoyed every dish we have ordered.
Great take out, spicy chicken and spicy noodles
This is definitely not worth the visit! I went to pick up food yesterday, and it was just plain terrible!! I ordered Paradise Beef as an appetizer, and receiver five pieces of what could pass for beef jerky thrown in a small bag, with a container of duck sauce. Additionally, I ordered "Bangkok Beef" and it was equally disappointing... horrible quality.. stay away! Save your money!!!
Food was very good, I had Red Curry and my Fiancé order Pineapple Fried rice which came out with half a pineapple (literally). Our server was very nice and quite funny, singing many songs to welcome us.
Simon's joy and the flavorful noodles were my favorite parts of this little spot in South Hadley! I had the spicy noodles- not spicy at all but delicious! I'll be back to try the pad thai and of course, to say hello to Simon!
Very fitted Thai food. Nice atmosphere, prompt service.
Amazing food, great service. Simon is a blast! His staff are great and very friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant! Thai iced tea is delicious.
I've eaten there many times and like this restaurant. The man who runs the restaurant is very nice. Food is generally good and I enjoy going there with my daughter. The pad thai is a bit too sweet for my liking. I've been satisfied with everything else
The food is always amazing and its a great atmosphere and simon is awesome
Good food. Usually get takeout so not sure about service when you sit. The food is flavorful and choices are good for vegetarians and meat eaters.
This a a home away from home restaurant that treat and remembers their customers like family.. amazing food and excellent with social distancing..a great place to go with tye family..great experience for my first time.
I didn't expect much going in, but wow was I charmed by the place. the waiter that served us was great and the food was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
Food was good and very fresh!
Great place
Enjoyed my meal very much.
Fantastic food with fantastic service along with fantastic drinks. No other words are needed except Inferno margarita LOL
Food and service was excellent!!! Definitely recommend. Will be bk.👍
Excellent food and service 10/10 would recommend
Probably the best Thai restaurant in the immediate area, but there's really not much in the immediate area. Everything was kinda watery and lacked flavor. The peas were actually hard. I've definitely had worse, but I've definitely had better. Bland flavor does seem to be the M.O. of restaurants in the area, so if that's your thing, you do you.
