Authentic Thai Food with fresh ingredian. We made food by order and strict to our own recipies.
Best Thai food I have ever had!! Just went- did a “plate rotate” so I was able to try the Pad Thai, Red Curry, Yellow Curry, and Sunshine Pad Cashew Nuts- everything was absolute perfection!! Staff was so professional while still friendly and so pleasant. Very clean environment - I would eat here every day if I could!
Best Thai you’ll find in the area. I’ve only been twice but was very impressed both times. The food is all made fresh so you will have to wait but it’s worth it.
On our first visit I had the pumpkin curry. Outside of a little out of the way place in Santa Cruz, this was the best pumpkin curry I’ve had. Second time I had the Mango curry and it was just as delicious. Will be a regular.
This is by far our favorite restaurant in Port Orange. The food is always consistently delicious, hot, and made with obviously fresh ingredients. The place is on the smaller side but the friendly staff are always kind and work hard to take care of customers as quick as possible, always smiling and professional. I usually order "Thai Hot" and they definitely get the spices right! We probably dine in or pick up food here at least twice a week and would recommend Thai Kitchen to anyone looking for fresh, authentic Thai cuisine.
We again were on a Sunday Search for Sustenance and today it was in the name of Pad Thai. In search of this dish we thought of Port Orange (exit 256 off I-95) to stop into along our way. I was given the recommendation of Thai Kitchen from a friend and am glad we stopped in.
I saw a Handcrafted Thai Iced Tea on their menu and just had to try it. I asked for a sample just to make sure I wanted to commit since never trying it before and our server obliged! I was very pleased with the taste and was happy to receive the full mug topped with cream.
I was so excited to find fresh Spring Rolls on the menu and ordered that as an appetizer. I must have been anticipating the first bite dipped in slightly spicy peanut sauce on the side that I forgot to snap a picture before trying it!
I ordered the Khaw Pad Tom Yum fried rice. It arrived to me in the form of a mountain and tasted wonderful. My companion ordered the Pad Thai. To finish we shared one scoop of Coconut Ice Cream with Fried Bananas. We enjoyed it all!
Their dining room is small, containing maybe 7 or 8 tables for 4. It made me wonder how long the line will be during popular times to visit once everyone learns about this little gem!
Our server was very sweet, willing and always on the go!
Very extensive menu offering. Would stop in to try something new again and again.
My boyfriend and I stopped in randomly a few years ago while out and we have never stopped coming back. The service is always so friendly and fast, all the decorations are gorgeous, and every single time we eat we leave with full stomachs and a smile. This place has become our favorite date night spot and even after moving almost an hour away we can’t ever replace our favorite restaurant. From the appetizers to the main dishes to the desserts we have never had an order we didn’t love. Even when it’s packed and there is a wait for a table, every moment is worth it for the chance to enjoy a meal there.

Our dinner was so very good this was a very authentic Thai restaurant. My dinner meal was perfect in taste I got the Jenny pad thai with coconut curry peanut sauce with steamed tofu and veggies.I will definitely go back again .We also had the soup which was very good also . Service was very good .if you want authentic Thai this is the place .
Mannnnn, this place is so good. Their summer breeze rolls are outstanding and they grill the shrimp separately, YUM. Also the basil fried rice has the perfect amount of spice and the price and portion, YES YES YES.
Best Thai in the area! Best Tom Yum soup I’ve had in Florida! Glad I found it!
The resteraunt service was absolutely awesome!!! The food came out very fast even with a crowded environment. The food was delighting and it was …. Wowww. It was well seasoned and warm along with nice vegetables.
Second time going to this restaurant. Sat inside this time and it’s cute. Small and a little crowded but they make it work. Everything is fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend
our fave, pineapple rice. all on menu good. they take their food seriously
Gem! Absolute 10/10
The food is excellent, but my daughter's meal was not what she had ordered. The ingredients were not what was listed and it was swimming in sauce that was not the right color and didn't taste right. She has had this numerous times and we assumed it was just the wrong meal. We told the server and he took it back and was polite about it. The owner, or chef, I'm not sure, came out and verbally attacked her. He rudely and agreasively told her to read their sign (which we never found) that says they change out ingredients and it is the customers responsibility to tell them what they don't want. Ignoring the fact that it was the wrong sauce to begin with, and not a soup which was more what it looked like, how are you supposed to know what ingredients you don't want if it's not listed in the description on the menu. They did redo the meal, and it was nothing like the first meal at all, but was in fact what we ordered. I do appreciate getting the meal corrected, but I have never been attacked like this and we will never go back.
Amazing Thai vegetarian options!!!: Khaw Pad Pineapple with vegan sauce & Pumpkin Curry both with tofu. I will certainly be back!!!👍👍

We eat Thai food all over Central Florida about once a week. My Daughters beef was tough and tasted off. We asked if we could change and get her Thai basil rice with chicken. They refused and told us don’t come back. We paid , left our food there and we will respect their wishes and never go back there again. I have never been treated that way in a restaurant in my entire life and we eat out frequently. I am a small business owner, so I always try to patronize small businesses. In 30 years of being in business, I’ve never treated a guest in my establishment the way I was treated in this Restaurant.
Family favorite loosing traction fast. Clean, clean bathrooms which is a great indicator of cleanliness of the kitchen. Parking lot well lit at night, reasonably comfortable and safe. Preparation of food always top notch, with fresh ingredients. Seasoned to our families liking. Wait staff always courteously asking to ensure appropriate level of spicy to add to each meal. However, shift in hours and days open over the last year or so has cut down on convenience. Staff has become a little pushy and less courteous when it comes to closing hours. Our last three visits had orders with portions significantly reduced. Cost vs effort and reduced portions is making it less likely for repeat business. Just a guess, poor economy and inflation is impacting the business. Quality and unique flavor still top notch, though still a very disappointing experience. 3 stars for hour and days open, new shortness with customers personally observed and what we experienced in portion reduction not suitable to cost. Was a family favorite that we used to look forward to at least once a month. We will continue our patronage to satisfy the craving for their food but on much less frequency with hopes of a shift back to their old status quo’s.
Great little thai restaurant
My favor for Thai, small, good prices and great, flavorful food.
Wonderful food and staff. this thai restaurant, by far, is the best around volusia county for authenticity and consistency. I frequent at least once a week, and I can't get enough! Highly highly recommend.
We come here once a week...it's that good! Delicious stir fry and curry. Friendly service and we just love Nicole! We are so fortunate to have them close by!
My family and I love this place! The Pad See-Ew (ask for it dry) and basil fried rice are so good. So authentic and full of flavor!
Best Thai food I have ever had!! Just went- did a “plate rotate” so I was able to try the Pad Thai, Red Curry, Yellow Curry, and Sunshine Pad Cashew Nuts- everything was absolute perfection!! Best duck I have ever had
Clean place, food is excellent, my favorite is the thai fried rice, but the food in general is so tasty, Order are always correct and my food ready any time I go for pick up, I do recommend them.
Delicious and cheap. Especially during lunch time.
Great food
Super fresh, always busy but worth the wait.
Careful on the hot-meter; they have a warning for a reason!
Always delicious with friendly service.
Great food with big portions. The service was very fast and polite. We went there twice and always had a great time. Recommendation: Mango Curry.
First time ever having Thai food it was incredible definitely will be back .
Food has so much flavor it’s excellent food
Small. All tables are 4 tops. Too much waiting with only one person at a table. Food and price is very good. Cut the tables in half and you will increase your business.
Don't let the limited seating or garage sale furniture fool you, this place is a true diamond in the rough. Absolutely delicious! I would say this is the best kept secret in Port Orange, but the secret has apparently gotten out. The wait just for to-go food last Thursday was 90 minutes, so it's best to go at off-peak hours.
We just want to speak on behalf of the review that was left by Juan below. We were in the restaurant and witnessed Juan having zero regard for the other patrons around him as he talked on FaceTime very loudly. Everyone could clearly hear their conversation. I think it’s odd for folks to go inside an intimate space and feel it’s ok to do this. It has zero to do with ethnicity and the waitress approached him in the sweetest way to let him know. This restaurant, staff and food is EXCELLENT!! We have been coming here for years. Never a bad meal. I would suggest Juan brush up on his table side manners.
I was asked rudely by the server to stop speaking on the phone with my friend only because we were speaking in Spanish.
Very rude and obnoxious.
Won't come back again!!!
First let me say that the food at Thai Kitchen is very good. We have eaten there many times as well as having ordered take out. Recently, we ordered take out from Thai Kitchen By Saowanee. When we brought the 2 bags of food home, we realized that there had been a misunderstanding. Instead of one order of a particular item, they sent five. That same evening, I called to report the mistake and the owner (he said he was the one I placed the order with) literally became aggressive and blaming and just would not stop ranting. When I had ordered this meal, I did ask the owner to repeat back the order. He repeated it back very quickly and I didn't hear him say "5" of that item instead of “1”. I suggested to him that the confusion may have happened as a result of our different accents from our cultural backgrounds and I just simply didn't hear him clearly. At that point, the owner became aggressive and called me RACIST! That was the last straw for me as his behavior was entirely inappropriate. I became upset and told him I would return the four extra boxes the next day for a refund. The next day he did give me a refund, although he became verbally aggressive again at which point I became upset again. The bottom line is this....I have never in my 70 years of life experienced such rude and disrespectful behavior as I did by the owner of Thai Kitchen By Saowanee. I will NEVER give this restaurant our business again. Nor will all the friends we shared this experience with. If he replies back to this post with an argumentative attitude, you will see for yourselves what I experienced.
Very good flavored very well, they asked how it was we thought it was just a touch spicy. They remade the dish and it was perfect. The owner came out himself, well done!
Oh my gosh this foooooood!!!! 😍 10/10 My new favorite for sure.
Also our waitress was great, kept up with our drinks and was polite.
Can't wait to go back.
We love this place! Outstanding curries.
Amazing food!
food was cold and disgusting, small portion for price, they would not refund or exchange for a different dish of the same price. ridiculous.
Had wonton soup, eggroll and salad with plum dressing...VERY good. Menu has so many items, looking forward to return visit so I can try more items. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend.
My favorite place to go. I always get the Pad Kra Prao, it's really unique. The entire place and it's food is made with love.
This place was recommended by a friend and this was our second time going there. Really good thai food.
The food is amazing, but pricey. I recommend the Shrimp Pad Thai. The service is good, the atmosphere, not so much. They have take out, but no delivery.
Food is so tasty everything on the menu is so good
Wonderful food, service and very friendly staff!!!! I go many times a week and it is always excellent.
Food seems to taste better every time I eat here, 100% recommend
Food very good & portions plentiful! Service very good ! Ambiance ok nothing special, will definitely return!
Great food.
$7.99 lunch deal!!
Delicious Thai food, and nice atmosphere, service is good
The food is always SO good here! This place is a MUST try if you’re visiting or you’re a local looking for some DELICIOUS Thai food!!! Thank you so much for the delicious food!
Great place for authentic Tai food.
My favorite restaurant in Port Orange. Everything there is absolutely delicious. Recently I had the summer rolls with shrimp, dumplings and green curry with chicken.
I was there last Sunday, and going again tomorrow for dinner 🤗😋
Wow this was such a treat. I love Thai food and we now have a new favorite spot here in Port Orange
Pineapple Curry was really good. Enough for two of us to share with additional sides of rice and an appetizer.
Ambiance: It’s a little crowded here and there is always a line. You can hear everyone’s conversations.
Food: The flavor is amazing, but you feel hungry afterwards. Their thai tea is always very sour and unpleasant. Their boba is horrible do not get it. The Milk Tea option is alright though but not the thai milk tea. They have great sticky rice dessert but they no longer serve it with coconut ice cream. Without the coconut ice cream it’s not as sweet. Their thai coffee is a better sweet drink option or just order sweet tea. Jenny Pad Satay is a mix between Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and Chicken Peanut Satay/Curry if you make it mild. Very excellent dish. Chicken Satay is a great dish too. If you get their Rose Tray option you get salad, soup and appetizer. Tom Yum soup is sour, wonton soup has very little flavor with maybe 1 or 2 wonton. I preferred the Tom Yum soup. Pineapple fried rice is good as well.
Awesome authentic Thai food! Love it.
Our favorite Thai restaurant in Central Florida. My family have dine here many times and I have tried different dishes on the menu. We have never been disappointed and the service is also excellent.
The food is always great.
Ser ice is very good as well.
Wish they had outside dining, and more room inside.
ممتااااز ورائع والاكل ولا غلطه يستخق الزيارة
Fantastic food, great prices, and good service! Try to khao pad prig pao and the pad see ew!
Extremely good Thai food at a very reasonable price! Dinner for 2 with an appetizer and 2 Thai iced coffees was $46, including tax. The food was fresh, tables were clean, and service was impeccable. I highly recommend this place. BE AWARE.... LAST SEATING IS AT 7:30PM.
I wouldn't consider myself an expert on Thai food but I visited Thailand for a month and the food here was reminiscent of my time there! Service was prompt, portions large, prices low, and most importantly food was delicious! I've eaten at many Thai restaurants in Chicago, Detroit, Orlando, and DC and I can say this is a return spot for me. I recommend the Basil Fried Rice and Massaman Curry.
We again were on a Sunday Search for Sustenance and today it was in the name of Pad Thai. In search of this dish we thought of Port Orange (exit 256 off I-95) to stop into along our way. I was given the recommendation of Thai Kitchen from a friend and am glad we stopped in.

Very extensive menu offering. Would stop in to try something new again and again.
Ordered two of my favorite Bangkok dishes. Fantastic.
Great place to eat!!! Affordable and super yummy if you like Thai food. We have been several times and have never had a bad meal. My kids love it too. I'm sorry I didn't find it sooner!! I highly recommend.
an amazing restaurant with delicious food
If you are looking for genuine Thai food and friendly service, look no further. This place is amazing, the Thai iced tea is not to be missed. They are always accommodating to the entire family, even my "picky" child. I love the wide variety, as we can all get exactly what we want to eat.
Best thai food I've ever had. I would eat here every day if I could! They have good vegetarian options too.
Great duck!! Loved it-will be back!
I had some great duck. My first time at this location and I'll be back.
We were four minutes past 7:30 due to getting our babies stuff out of the car. Watched the host seat someone right before us and we were turned away. You should change your hours to 7:30..won’t be back.
Great service! Spicy green curry was very tasty!
Delicious food. Never fails to please. And if you ask for Thai hot you actually get it.
My wife and I love this place! Great food and good prices.
Manager has zero people skills
So delicious and authentic I went twice in the same week. Seating inside is very close together lol not really privacy but food is great.
Some of the best Thai food in the area. The Spicy Crispy Duck is fantastic.
Love this restaurant, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food is super yummy!!!
It is always a unbelievable experience, Their food is delicious, good presentation, and taste excellent and the atmosphere, it good for the family.
Friendly service and authentic Thai food. Tried two dishes..pineapple fried rice with shrimp and chicken and the Jasmine in the garden with chicken and shrimp. Both were fresh and flavorful. Parking is conveniet. Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem among the sea of overpriced franchises in Port Orange. The dining room is small and cozy and clean. The server at the counter was super helpful and friendly. I would return and definitely suggest giving it a try. I like spicy and the Jasmine dish was prepared in Thai hot level spice and have wonderful savory and well balanced flavor.
Called for take, since this was my first time I wanted a sample of a few items.
Everything... I mean, everything was delicious.
I'm going to miss this gem since I'm heading back to Boston for a time. Just know that until I leave, I'll enjoy a few more meals from here.
Great prices for everything.
Go.... you'll can thank me later
LOVE this place! Tom Yum soup is awesome; Mango Curry crazy good. Good portions, great service and price. One of the best eateries in Port Orange
Best Thai food for miles! They're definitely worth checking out!
This is our favorite Thai restaurant in town. Great food and excellent service. Highly recommend!
We love Thai kitchen, we eat here usually at least once a week. My favorites are the yellow curry and the Thai fried rice, my husband loves the garlic ppper chicken and spring rolls. If you love Thai food, I definitely recommend you give them a try! Great dining in or ordering for take out
Amazing Asian cuisine! You won't be disappointed.
Fantastic food. Best in Volusia County, as far as I'm concerned. A little weird that they ask for a tip on the receipt when you pick up your own order, but that seems to be the norm these days. BLUF: Food good; Greedy bad.
Best Thai in town, great atmosphere, invite me to lunch and I swear I'll meet you there any day. Try the Pa Naeng curry
Great authentic Thai food. Always good when I go.
This is our go to restaurants once a week when I don't want to cook. We have been going here for over a year now and we love it.
Got there at 7:50, sign says 8, lady said we closed. Change the sign
Nice place. Good food. Friendly server. Reasonable prices. Clean restroom. Very happy. We shall return.
Really great quality and appropriate Thai cuisine. Amazing duck dishes, curry, appetizers and soups. Well worth trying. The order to pickup can be very difficult due to them sometimes not being able to answer phone though
This is one of the best places I have went to eat. The staff is phenomenal and it's super clean. The portions are the perfect size and the price was so reasonable. I have spent more for fast food at lunch and this is so much better fresh vegetables made to order nothing sitting out for hours what more could you ask for. Me and my mother had an appetizer and a lunch and 2 drinks our bill was still under $30 with a tip.
Great food but attitude, operating hours and waiting times due to limited seating is were they miss out. Attitude most of all.
never order extra meat or noodles here, they scam you and don’t actually add more but they charge more. I have tried with extra noodles and not extra noodles and they are exactly the same. Not an honest restaurant
Denied me service at 7:35 even though they say they are open till 8
The food is good here but its like playing a game of roulette on when and what time they are open the open schedule is so confusing to be a restaurant.
Great place to eat if your looking for good Thai food
The Yellow Curry and Pad See Ew are delicious. Pending on what you order, hot can be pretty hot and delicious. Order medium or mild if you aren't sure and adjust from there the next time you go.
Delicious breakfast
The Thai food here was delicious 😋
Great Thai food!
Amazing as always!!! Love love this place ❤
We decided to try somewhere new in port orange and decided on Thai food. Thai Kitchen is located right next to Panera on Dunlawton. The restaurant itself is smaller and was a little busy. We tried the dumplings as a appetizer and they were fantastic. They definitely looked different than the traditional dumplings you see but really tasted great!!!! The Pad Thai in a soy sauce and chicken was so delicious and had a nice kick. “Not too hot and not too weak”. I highly recommend you give them a try if your craving some decent Thai food. The only negative was the wait for food was pretty long.
Got lunch takeout with friends. Special was a good price. The soup was decent, panang curry was pretty good. I got drunken noodles that were mild but barely had any spice to them, so if you have any spice tolerance definitely get hotter. I added some hot peppers to my noodles separately and they were way better with the extra kick.
Absolutely love the pineapple fried rice. Great vegetarian options available.
Great food. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean RRs.
Thanks for helping a total newbie. Had no idea what I wanted and having a 0 to little spice option was fabulous. I know I know. Thai food is known for excellent hot spices but I can't do that so thanks!
Without a doubt one of the best kept secrets in the Port Orange area! Excellent food, great service and well priced. I highly recommend this small intimate restaurant for truly authentic Thai food!
This is, by far, our favorite restaurant in Port Orange! The service is wonderful, the food is always fresh and consistently spectacular, and we love that they allow us to bring our own containers in when we do take-out (we are trying to minimize our use of toxic plastics and styrofoam, so we are super grateful for their support with our endeavor!). Thank you, Thai Kitchen!!
Love your food. But it says you close at 230 during weekdays and here I am at 2pm finding someplace else to eat. Abide by your hours.
Amazing food, great service.
Stopped by for a quick lunch while traveling. VERY extensive menu, with lunch portions of nearly every entree for $6.99, with an option to add soup, salad, or spring rolls for a small upcharge. We had pad Thai and pineapple curry - both were excellent! Delicious sit-down Thai for not much more than drive-thru fast food. Loved it.
份量很少吃不飽
Vegan options are bomb. I'll be back.
Sometimes the smallest places have the best food. Delicious and fresh all around. Service was great. A little hard to find in the center and small inside but would recommend.
This place is delicious!! Quality and authentic. Truly can't say enough.
Great lunch deals, tasty Thai
Sadly, I have to update this review to say that the food, the last time we got it, has completely changed. It's nothing like it used to be. It doesn't taste right at all. The fried rice (Basil Fried Rice, specifically) was still okay, but just nowhere near as good as it used to be. Such a bummer.
Original Review:
The Massaman Curry and Thai Fried Rice are my favorite entrees here, very good quality curry, delicious. They obviously use quality fresh ingredients and everything is very fragrant and tasty. Pretty good portions, if you get a soup or appetizer, you can easily share one of the entrees.
The Tom Kha soup is one of my favorites also, it's a great comfort food. It takes them a little while to cook the food, a little longer than most restaurants, but I assume that's because they cook it to your order based on how spicy you want it and which meat you pick. So the wait is a little annoying, especially if it's busy, but to me it's definitely worth the wait and their staff is very friendly.
Had a wonderful lunch here today! Drunken shrimp noodles. Amazing. Michael our waiter was the best and one of the reasons we will be back!
The food was delicious and fresh with so much flavor. I do have to take off one point though because when the waiter gave us a empty bowl to split are rice in. It had a ant on it but other than that everything was great. And the waiter was very nice.
Delicious Thai food. Service a little slow as they appear to be short staffed like many other businesses.
Food was great. Owner was engaging, will return!
The best Thai Food I ever had. Every time I come to Florida I have to eat here.
Food is good but they are overly busy. And need to extend their hours. Closes too early.
Cozy and the service is always nice and the food is always fresh and tastes home made.
This place is really good and has lot of options. If you are craving for some Thai and Asian cuisine this is the place. Usually it’s better to make a reservation as this place is always busy!!!
I recently got the crispy duck curry..! OMG I can’t say enough about this dish. One of the best dish in and around Daytona beach. The duck was super tender and crispy. The curry had fruits in it which was a great sweet spicy combination. Get it spicy, because the sweet compensates for it. A must dish at this place.
We also got papaya salad, it was just ok. Have had better papaya salads.
I bought $26 worth of food to go and gave them a $2 tip for picking up my food.
Everything tasted ok and not so fresh except for the rotten, bitter and sour non fresh spring rolls which tasted terrible!
I asked them for my money back just for the spring rolls. Instead of being professional and apologetic,
they were defensive saying they have been selling it all morning with no issues. And then they put me on hold and came back a minute later asking if I already ate it and I have to bring it back. Also, they didn't include utensils with my order. Terrible customer service. Won't be coming back.
Lunch time 3.18.21
One of my favorite restaurant in the area. They have great food, nice seating and friendly people. The food is authentic Thai food which is hard to find.
I order from here weekly- Best yellow curry I've ever had! Food is always on point, highly recommend!
Great vegan options!
Fantastic Food, we are coming back for more....
The food is ok, but is not the best place in Port Orange. If I could give no star to the service I would. On multiple occasions I have called and no one answers the phone. The answering machine states that they close at 8pm, however; if you show up to dine at 7:15pm they will kick you out. This has happened to us at 7:15pm at 7:30pm and generally at any time any day if they are not making any money; I guess? So we take our money to more reliable places around. It is our last try, never will go there again where we don’t feel welcomed! Hasta la vista!
Love their food..especially the Thai Rice. Great service ..very friendly staff. Highly recommend you try them.
Fantastic food with great prices. My favourite dish is pineapple fried rice and summer rolls but everything I have had there is delicious!
Some of the best Thai fried rice you'll ever have!
I love the food and staff equally. Amazing place!
Excellent food, outstanding service, absolutely loooved it!!!
I was there visiting from New York Not only was the food amazing but the male waiter there was fantastic I will definitely return and hopefully be able to purchase gift cards to refer other people
Best Thai food since my visit to Thailand. We drive 45 miles every 2 weeks. That good!
