I always get the 3 sushi rolls. Their salmon is delicious. I crave it when I go. They even gave me a tree with my order.

I’ve been to this place several times and the food is always delicious! The experience eating here is exactly what I look for when dining out! The owners are very kind and you can tell they’re invested in the success of their business! The waitstaff is always attentive & caring! Moved from Miami to fort myers with my wife about two years ago, we were huge into sushi in Miami. Finding a sushi restaurant was a top priority for us when we moved, we ventured around and discovered RockN Sushi. This place has everything my wife and I were looking for, amazing food, great music and an excellent staff. Some of the best qualities of this restaurant is their fresh sushi and Sushi Rolls of the week! Hands down a hidden gem of fort myers

Rockin Wait times is the only think rockin around this joint. over an hour wait for just Fried rice. The rest of the table was served sushi besides a kid and myself. There sushi came out about 20 minutes before our fried rice. we had to ask for an update 3 times.. then asked for a manager to be told the manager was in the back cooking since a cook didnt show up. In my opinion they shouldve shut half the restaurant down to give good service all around. They were so backed up. Manager did come at the end. didnt apologize. didnt offer a discount or any compensation. nothing. Everybody was done eating their sushi as i was able to eat for 5 minutes. Terrible service. terrible case management. Wont be returning. Not even worth a 2nd try without any discount or compensation.

The food wasn't bad, but it was far from good. The rolls were heavy on rice and light on protein. Tempura was under done. Pad Thai was, well... the noodles were over done to say the least. Pad Thai is a dish I've had in several countries and this ranks lowest. ZERO heat. Sauce was thick... tasted like Chinese brown sauce, NOT fish sauce.

My husband and I accidentally walked in shortly before closing, but the entire staff was very kind about it and served us promptly. We ordered sushi, soup, salad, and a Thai dish. The Thai wasn’t the best I have had, but the sushi was great and the staff was kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend! :)

I'll admit I wasn't paying that much attention to the menu generally when I order sushi from anywhere else I get like five pieces.

I asked them for smoked salmon and eel sushi version. I got 2 pieces of each and my total was 22$.

Call the police, Because I just got robbed.

Like I said I'm used to going into sushi shops and spending about 12 to $15 and that would get you like six pieces of sushi.

Went here tonight, 3-16-24. This used to be our favorite place to go, it is our 6 year olds favorite place. Since new owners took over it's gone off the deep end. Stuff isn't served like it used to, sticky rice wasn't even available for 39 minutes and although we went ahead and ordered it, it never came out until we were leaving and they took it off our bill and sent it home with us anyway. I always get Beef Jerky and it's served hot and tender...now no longer available. Pad See Ew is no longer on the menu as well and it is better than the Pad Thai. Waiter asked if I wanted a refill on my tea, verified it was unsweet...brought it out 20 minutes later just as we were ready to leave and it was sweet tea. This was my last time coming here, Rock'n Sushi had a good run but now it's done! Will be going to MAKS from here out.

I will try and keep it brief. I placed an online order which was quickly confirmed. I arrived after the pickup time and still had to wait nearly 45 minutes. There was no one to greet you at the door and no employee offered to help me. I had to walk to the dining area and flag down a waitress. I was told to wait and 45 minutes later…. 45 minutes AFTER I was given a pick up time. By the way, not super busy- the dining room was at about 50 percent capacity. There was no one in the waiting area other than other frustrated customers trying to pick up their orders. This was incredibly inconvenient and a total waste of time. I have not experienced such subpar service in years. Absolutely insane.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant. Unfortunately for me it did not live up to Hype. The food was very Bland. Ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. And an appetizer it was the crabbing cream cheese thing which was also tasteless and some sticky rice sticky rice I think it must have been frozen or something I don't know it was in a plastic baggie kind of weird also had no taste. Makes me sad I was looking for some good Thai food but I definitely would never go back here again. And maybe that's why they were empty yet 4:30 on Valentine's evening!

The food was awesome! We got seats right at the Sushi Bar and the chef taught us a couple things about eating sushi which were very helpful and tasty. The Lion King Roll is definitely one to order.

Priced gouged on uber eats order by $40 dollars. I got the original receipt attached on my order and realized that this restaurant increased their prices by $40 dollars, so my $80 dollar order came out to $120. Not ordering or visiting here again, doesn't matter how good your food might have been.

We have been coming to Rock'n Sushi for a few years now and have always had good food for a reasonable price. In the last year, they have raised their prices significantly in addition to their portion sizes being substantially reduced. I understand inflation has affected everyone, but I likely won't be returning for lunch after paying $16 for a lunch portion of shrimp fried rice that contains no vegetables except onions, and THREE measly shrimp. When I mentioned something to the waiter thinking it was an oversight, he apologized and said sorry that's all you get with our lunch portion. Not his fault of course, but the prices they now charge does not align with the value and quantity of food they serve. On the other hand, aside from that, service is always good and our experience is always pleasant.

We gave Rock n Sushi a try. The building is very nice, seems clean. Service was exceptionally slow and lacking in many other ways. The best parts of the meal were sushi, we had lava drops. The crab Rangoon was great as well albeit small portions. The main dishes were not worthy of a restaurant dining experience. I had the combination thai fried rice which was bland, chicken and beef were dry and three grilled shrimp. My wife had cashew stiry fry, broccoli wasn't cooked well and cashews were added as an afterthought. Overall the main dishes were tasteless and the ginger salad wasn't great either. 90$ for a family of 4, 2 kids and 2 adults, should yield better results. I left 20% tip and regret that as well.

I have eaten sushi from NY to Tokyo. I have not enjoyed a meal like this in years.
The food was very fresh and the presentation was perfect.
All the servers were very pleasant and helpful especially our server Nicole.

The place is tucked away down Gateway and even harder to find at night. The decor is very modern and when we went for dinner, the restaurant was very busy.
We were not greeted or seated for 20 minutes, so I inquired with a sushi chef, who informed the hostess that we needed to be seated. After being seated, our waitress was very frank or short in taking our orders. She was not very pleasant.
Our food took 45 minutes to come out and was... okay. The sushi was good.

I would recommend the sushi and pass on the other dishes.

The overall service was poor. I am not sure if the problem was with the kitchen or the way the waitress was placing orders. Our table of 12 placed orders, but only some of the guests' items such as sushi rolls, salads, and spring rolls were brought out. During the entire service, some people finished their complete meal before others received anything. Even worse, an order for PHO (soup broth) was served last. The service needs improvement, and the head server's (possibly the manager) attitude was also not up to the mark, as they completely ignored patrons' questions about the whereabouts of their orders.

The sushi is the freshest I've had in the area, and the curry is the best I've had EVER. No joke. Worth the drive if you're not in Gateway.

The food was average. The service was poor because they take your order then when the food arrives you won't be seeing your server so make sure to ask for what you want when they deliver your food. Atmosphere was nice in the sense it had a cozy cute designed but the person I was with was seated under a leaky air vent so he had to move. Not to mention, the hours of operation are irregular.

Ordered take out recently. Food was meh and over priced for what you get. Dumplings looked like Trader Joe's frozen. Fried rice had little flavor and the crab Rangoon were small and over cooked. The beef fried rice meal was just ok. Not much beef.

We went in monday night at 9:33 under the understanding they closed at 10:00pm. When we walked in we asked politely if we could sit and the hostess was very dismissive, she went away and we just heard her say from afar "you go talk to them" to another person instead of being forward and telling us "no". The only person who was nice enough was one of the cooks who said their "last call" was at 9:30. 3 minutes before we went in, and their OPEN sign was still on. Fix your schedule or specify your "last call" times (that should not be HALF an hour before your closing time).

New manager is super rude and racist. She had me standing there at the counter forever while she checked out people who came after me. When it was time for me to collect my order she told me she thought I cancelled my order (mind you I could see my order already wrapped up and waiting for me). Been there for lunch and it was good.
We tried to make reservations last night and they don’t take them. The atmosphere was frantic and we wanted martinis and they said we don’t have spirits and I said why do you advertise liquor?
The host had a stack of menus in his hands and one slipped off and hit me in the back of my head and I still have a knot there this morning.
No one apologized for the incident…..we’re done.

One thing I really appreciated about RockNsushi was the quality of their rolls. Freshly delivered seafood paired with skilled chefs behind the counter made for a perfect dining experience we tell friends about.

But what really sets RockNsushi apart is its cozy atmosphere and attentive service. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and our food arrived quickly and beautifully presented.

My favorite sushi place in SWFL! They have so many good options. Their happy hour is the best, hands down. I’ve been waiting to visit SWFL again just so I can get some of my favorite sushi. Plus, they have fried rolls, which are my husband’s favorite.

Awesome food, great menu, beautiful view, excellent service. I will definitely be returning.

I am giving this place 2 stars because my wife loved her food. The service was not good. They were not very busy yet we sat with empty glasses and repeatedly had to ask for refills. The staff was miserable and annoyed. We ordered entrees and didn’t get our soup or salad. After we ate our meals I asked if they can take it off the bill. The waitress refused because “soup and salad is complimentary.” Half way through the meal I decided to come back in a couple months to see if It was a fluke. I changed my mind after she told me I would not be compensated for the food we didn’t get. I’m actually shocked at the 4.5 star average. I will not be back.

We used to look forward to our weekly Rock n Sushi night but ever since the new owners took over the service has been terrible. Dine-in we finished our entire meal before my daughter’s teriyaki chicken was brought out. Take out, order for 5:15p and at 6p still wasn’t ready. Extremely sad for a neighborhood restaurant to go downhill.

Great food, very fresh and lots of vegan options. Sushi is also very good. We typically go here 2-3 times per month. We enjoy the happy hour specials ($5 sushi rolls & other appetizers). Pictured is the Tofu Udon soup witch is a favorite as well as the basil stir fry. New owners recently, but it seems they’ve retained most of the staff which is a good thing😎!

Just moved back from San Diego. First authentic Tom Yum soup I’ve had here! Absolutely loved the atmosphere and vibe.

Food was excellent, service was mediocre at best. As I left a 15% for server and put an additional 10% in the jar on the bar for the chefs. I expressed my opinion and the chef and someone who I thought was a manager both laughed. They probably split tips and if so okay, I just wanted to make a point that the service was lacking.
