BEWARE OF TAKEOUT ORDER PROBLEMS!
Fourth order in a row they’ve put the wrong entrees in our takeout bag but their errors experience taught me to unpack and check every item. AGAIN! The wrong entree was loaded into our order as I’m unpacking our order on the counter. How sanitary and hygienic. /s
Making matters worse, our missing entree was found by the manager in another takeout orders bag - I’m sure the other customers won’t mind their food handled by me!! So two families evenings would have been spoiled by the staff’s carelessness. I can only imagine what happens if an Uber eats order. And we didn’t get the extra sauce we ordered and paid for, at this point I think we should write this place off.
There’s absolutely no excuse for this unprofessional service and food handling, and it’s the FOURTH TIME! Food is okay, IF you get what you order.
The pictures are what my daughter found in her salad - the butt of the lettuce normally thrown out when washing the head; something I’ve never seen in a restaurant my entire life. The other picture is of fatty beef in the fried rice, yet another first. All are DISGUSTING!
Restaurant is clean and the temperature is nice. Came in for a late dinner and Nina was an amazing waitress. She made our drinks and made sure to recommend the best entrees. I appreciate the staff not making us feel rushed since we did come in an hour before closing. Food was tasty and had a lot to take home.
We recently did a takeout order from Kasai, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. Here's what happened:
1. They completely forgot to include one of the rolls I ordered.
2. They mixed up another roll with a completely different menu item that happened to have the same name. (Seriously, why have two items with the same name? I even clarified on the call that I was only ordering rolls!)
3. One roll was so far off from its menu description that I thought they gave me the wrong item altogether. See below - the roll description says Spicy yellowtail, scallion, avocado inside with torched pepper tuna on top with yuzu, house spicy mayo sauce and dash of sriracha. What I received was nowhere close—no avocado in sight!
Mistakes happen, and I get that, so I called the restaurant to address the issue. After a few minutes, they admitted the errors and told me to come back in 20-30 minutes for them to remake the rolls.
When I arrived, I had to re-explain the situation to the person on the phone, then to her "manager," and finally to the actual manager. The real manager’s solution? To offer me the roll they forgot as a “free” roll, even though I had already paid for it. I had to remind him of that fact. Then, I waited another 20 minutes for them to remake two rolls—and they never gave me a clear answer about the roll that didn’t match the menu description.
The whole ordeal was frustrating. I ended up wasting over an hour, making two trips to the restaurant, and dealing with unnecessary back-and-forth conversations, only to be offered a roll I’d already paid for as a “freebie.”
Mistakes are understandable, but the way this situation was handled—both logistically and in terms of customer service—was disappointing. Kasai, please work on improving your processes and training your staff to better handle issues like this in the future.
If I could give this place zero stars I would ordered hibachi dinner and never received my order instead som sushi crap came and I paid 40 dollars for an order I never received never will order from this place again.. pictures look nothing like what my order was.
Update: I spoke with owner of the restaurant and he was very friendly and helpful my order was made correctly and I greatly appreciate thank you for listening and understanding so I will be back and continue my service
First time here for a family birthday. We had the hibachi dinner and were very impressed - everything fresh, well cooked, well seasoned, and the hibachi chef was friendly and funny. Great experience overall.
I’m not a crowds person and there were a lot of people tonight. The tables are set a little too close together and the hostess staff was a little challenged but they did a good job getting us seated.
Let me start with the positives. My server was great. Very friendly. I also appreciated the happy hour options. Most things on the list were a dollar or two discounted, which was nice. I also liked my flavored sake. It was a fun touch. However, my two sushi rolls were pretty bland. They didn't have much flavor and were actually dry. I had to use a lot of soy sauce. Maybe I just ordered the wrong rolls, but they were not among the best I've had in DFW. That being said, to each their own. The happy hour prices are good. If you're not too picky about your sushi, and live in the area, I can see this as being a fun spot.
Worst hibachi experience ever!!!! Reservation system is awful! My reservation was at 645, wasn’t sat until 745, then it was another hour before we had a cook, total time was 4 1/2 hours there! Had rude people seated that didn’t even have a reservation, didn’t check in with the host stand and went ahead and sat themselves, then host did nothing, just let them sit on down. The staff did nothing to compensate the long wait, didn’t even have the nerve to say sorry for the madness and long ridiculous wait. NEVER WILL VISIT THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN!
This hibachi restaurant delivers excellence in every aspect. The fresh, flavorful dishes are cooked to perfection right before your eyes, paired with an entertaining show from skilled chefs. The staff is attentive, friendly, and ensures a seamless dining experience. With its inviting ambiance, outstanding service, and top-quality food, it’s the perfect spot for any occasion. Highly recommended!
Love hibachi and this place did not disappoint. It didn’t necessarily add anything new if you are familiar with hibachi restaurants, but the food is great, the people are friendly and I enjoy this place every time.

Nice and clean place. Great food. Thanks

It was amazing, we went for my dad’s birthday and the food was AMAZING to say the least. The staff were super nice to us and the overall experience was phenomenal.

Roll sizes were very small. One of our rolls had 5 instead of 6 pieces. Over priced and not much of a selection for the quality and consistency of the sushi.
Hibachi seemed more popular as most people were eating that in the restaurant.
With all the selection in DFW I’d pass on the sushi here.
Good place for teppan yaki.
If I could give this place zero stars I would ordered hibachi dinner and never received my order instead som sushi crap came and I paid 40 dollars for an order I never received never will order from this place again.. pictures look nothing like what my order was.

We love this place, always a great experience. We come here once a week for dine in or takeout. Food is always on point and perfectly packaged.
Great for dine in, sucks ass for take out. Don’t go for takeout unless you want to wait an hour and a half. I got two sides of fried rice and they didn’t even give me all of my change because “they ran out” I don’t normally leave reviews but the service was so awful
Horrible experience. Made a reservation (party of 2) and arrived on time. Staff seemed flustered but semi-quicky sat us. Waited for over an hour after drink and entree orders taken and finally asked the staff what was going on. They said they were understaffed and that we’d have to wait another 1/2 hour. They never told us it would be such a long wait so we decided to leave.

Best place to relax and have your meal. I came with my family and the customer service was the best of all! would recommend 100%.
THE. BEST! The service, the food, the environment was incredible. We had so much fun and loved our food. Some of the best steak and rice we’ve ever had!
Really good ,excellent service.
Food was good. The chef was fast and good with the his grill. Only problem, it was hot in the room. But still a great place.
BEWARE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Our chef was horrible! Did not engage the family. It was my sons 10th birthday. He made dinner very uncomfortable. He rushed us through dinner. A big part of this experience for us is the interaction with the chef. No big fire. No egg tricks. No knife tricks. No chop chop train. Nothing!
Evidently, the manager told us the chef was hot. The restaurant was near empty and it was only 5:30 so i’m not sure how he could have been hot from cooking. We won’t be back!
We made a reservation for 3 people at 7pm, we waited 25 minutes to be seated at a back table after one of the hostess took a party of 4 that arrived 15 minutes after we did. Stuck at a back table with no AC! The other party at our table allowed their child the above the only fan running to were it only blew on her back. Been here 45 minutes now and still waiting in the chef to come to the table! Probably will not be back based upon the experience! Parents that allow their children to move these around are very inconsiderate of others. Still waiting…. Waiting and waiting! Chef finally appears at 7:47
The hibachi was delicious, the lychee sake is quite sweet and easy to drink (compared to a lot of sakes). It can get noisy, don't expect to have a long conversation if you are a large group
The food is great but if you call in an order you better repeat your order to the person taking it. Two of three orders called in have been wrong.
Keep driving. I got a to go order and through all sushi out and tightened the bag. I called the manager and she said, oh so sorry.
There are better places.
We got there at 700 and set at the bar. had a very nice drink
Reservations were at 730, got seated at the table at 745, and got soup at 835, then chef...
The food was good
The chef was not entertaining. the other cook was at the other table, yes
My only big negative is room temperature
Very hot there. Hvac is not set up correctly, so they are using swamp coolers to help cool the room....
When the outside doors open, you can feel the breeze of fresh air
Need a real HVAC that understands a negative pressure from all the exhaust fans, This will also help with the smell when you walk in ..... not a residential use commercial HVAC company
Just thought because it was in colleyville, it was nicer 🤔
Restaurant is clean and the temperature is nice. Came in for a late dinner and Nina was an amazing waitress. She made our drinks and made sure to recommend the best entrees. I appreciate the staff not making us feel rushed since we did come in an hour before closing. Food was tasty and had a lot to take home.
The food was amazing but what made our meal incredible was our server Trinity
Great food .. staff was excellent
My boyfriend and I love this place. We come here almost every weekend. We recently moved to the area and had a goal of finding somewhere like the place we had loved where we loved previously. We looked at the places near us on Google and found this place. It has plenty of parking and we're usually able to find a place right out front. The hostess was very nice and even though Kasai is a Hibachi place we like to sit near the bar in the booths. Every waitress we have had has been very attentive and nice. I like the sushi and my boyfriend loves the Chicken Hibachi meal and the spring rolls. (Pro tip, the sweet chili sauce they serve with the spring rolls is great with the Hibachi veggies and Chicken I've also used it with the Hibachi salmon. Overall we love this place and highly recommend, if only for the service and atmosphere. Although the food is really good too!
Staff is great and atmosphere is exactly what I expected. The miso soup was bland, grainy, and lukewarm. The sushi was disappointingly stale, even bitter. It doesn’t taste fresh or vibrant; I could only eat it by drowning it in soy sauce. Something is failing when it comes to ingredients and preparation.
Lunch combo
Miso soup
Scallion yellowtail roll
Spicy crunchy eel roll
Jasmine tea
The Hibachi chicken and steak meat were unseasoned and beyond bland. Very disappointing. Not worth the price. The other reviews are misleading.
The chef, Dr. Phil, was wonderful and made all my family members have a wonderful time. The owner, Luis, was very welcoming, cordial, and humble. He actually surprised us when we thought he was a waiter/busser when he helped with our food. This was hands down some of the tastiest sirloin, rice, noodles, and most tender veggies I have ever had for any hibachi…and I eat hibachi a lot.
Hibachi steak. Scallops, soup, and salad were delicious. I haven't been in a while and compared to other places they give you less vegetables with the hibachi dinner. I think they should give the option of more vegetables or rice in place of noodles. Also the southlake hibachi place always gives a complimentary shrimp with your meal but this place did not. Overall still a great place for hibachi.
No question about it. This is the BEST hibachi around. Phillip was absolutely amazing and made me a sauce that I've never had before. Thank you Phillip for the great conversation and the amazing food. You are the man! The rice is also the best rice we've gotten from anywhere like this. I'll never go to another hibachi place other than this one. Thanks guys for the great time
This was likely the worst restaurant experience of my life.
The Hibachi chef did no tricks and no attempt at anything funny or entertaining. I told our server I was vegan and ordered veggies & tofu. My boyfriend ordered steak & chicken. When the Hibachi chef came out he started on steak & chicken and completely ignored my order. However, my boyfriend told me the steak was dry and had no flavor. We were thinking he was going to start on my order next but no he acted like he was about to leave even though I had nothing on my plate.
So my boyfriend says “Excuse me, what about her?” Keep in mind at this point the chef still hasn’t interacted with us in any way.
He also apparently didn’t know I ordered anything so the server came over and she apologized. Got me a plate of veggies from the back and a block of cold tofu. I said “Can this be cooked?”
The Hibachi chef comes back, starts to cooks it, uses butter, I tell him I can’t have butter because I’m vegan, then he just walks off. And doesn’t even come back.
So we’re just sitting there confused for 15+ minutes with no one checking on us. My boyfriend’s food is not good and I have no food.
Finally, we just get up and pay at the register for my boyfriend’s appetizer only. He told them he’s not paying for Hibachi since we both didn’t eat. They barely apologized.
Anyone considering this place…go to Benihana instead.
I invited out of area friends for lunch Friday 5/24
1230p for a Hibachi lunch
We all ordered ted snapper, the chef overcooked the fish was so tuff i could not break it into bit size pieces with my fork
Japanese food does not need a knife normally
Aldo the chef/cook behind us created such a loud atmosphere with his tools which i have never encountered and i
Have been at the kasai numerous times, very disappointing!!
Hibachi was good, nothing crazy fancy but still fun. Food was great, soup and salad also good. Large portions, which was a surprise. I would recommend.
Ask for Trinity, great service
They made my birthday an amazing one! Very accommodating and friendly staff who went above and beyond.
I ordered my food an hour early and showed up 5 minutes past the window in which it was supposed to be ready. The hostess was so busy talking on her phone that she never submitted my order. She then went to question me why I didn’t have time to wait for 30 minutes for them to cook my food. I got the food home and the beef was all unbeatable. It was basically all fat and the beef that was cooked was well done and I asked for medium rare.
Waited over an hour for them to start cooking the hibachi. Food wasn’t great. The chef was not entertaining or engaging. Took a party of girls for my daughter’s 15th birthday and had a reservation for 6:00. They didn’t start cooking our food until 7:20. Will not be returning. Food quality wasn’t great.
Good good and happy hour specials. Quiet and great service!
Huge portions and very tasty. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Plenty of parking.
Best hibachi I’ve ever had. Large portions. Your drink never goes empty. Truly an amazing experience. Wish it was so far away from the highways but it’s worth the drive !
Este lugar selos recomiendo es vonito ver como te preparam la comida y la Magia que hacen los cosineros muy Lindo el lugar le doy un 100
Luis is GREAT! 🇺🇸
Thank you Sir 😊
Update 03.10.24:
Delicious as always! Celebrated birthdays here today. My 5-year-old nephew loved it! They even let him play the drums! Great food, great service. Love it!
We've missed this place, as it used to be Tokyo Samaurai years ago. Came today with a fussy toddler and they were so great to help to try to entertain him.
Food was overall good and service was stellar. Definitely will be coming back.
Their food is incredibly well put together and very fresh. The portion sizes are perfect, except the dessert which is definitely meant to be shared.
Thank you for the excellent service and and the delicious food! And it was fun
I recommend
Second update: the owner contacted me, she was very professional, accepted the feedback, and offered to fix the situation.
We had a small birthday party attend, the food was great, the assistance with the birthday was absolutely wonderful.
Overall, I appreciate the staffs willingness to go above and to help make the time there special.
The only real drawback was the waitstaff was nowhere to be found after the first round of drinks (no refills or second orders etc), so just make sure you order ahead.
With that, I cannot urge you more to try this place out, there’s a reason it’s one of the higher rated Hibacbi in the area.
Definitely our prefered Hibachi and sushi spot, after trying every single one around the area, food is great and service is exceptional, today my Toddler got scared with all the loud noise (a birthday next to us with the drums and singing) she started crying and I had to leave the table, two service people approached us trying to do something, one very nice waitress even brought ger chocolate sticks. This is a photo of our leftovers for two, the quantity of food is also very bast.
I wait hours for my food, I will never come back
Definitely earned some new regulars!! The staff, food, and prices were so amazing! We had very generous portions and staff were very attentive. For my birthday they gave me and my partner dragon heads to dance in while they played drums. Would recommend Jordan as hibachi chef!
Great experience! Food was tasty, service was exceptional and the atmosphere was fun and upbeat. The staff was exceptional from the moment we walked in the door. Will definitely return.
We went for my birthday lunch and had an amazing time, from the host to our cook everyone did an amazing job making sure we had everything. The customer service was unbelieve! They even went the extra mile to make sure our 9 month old had a good experience and was comfortable. This place is top tier we will for sure be back!
Always an enjoyable experience.
Great place for Hibachi ☺️
A bit of a wait for the chefs, but worth the wait for the food was awesome...
I love this place! I came here every year with my family to celebrate my birthday and they never disappoint! The fried rice is to DIE FOR!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
If you are really hungry this is the place - portions are massive … food was good but lacked favor. Service was very good and attentive.
We had a pretty bad experience. The chef put raw food in our plate, when we told him it's not edible he said to throw it away.
Seems like the manager was scared of him also. Told us she won't do anything until after the chef finishes cooking as he might mess up the food more. Pretty inappropriate for a restaurant to treat guests like that. They took 15% off the check, however, we didn't go there to get a discount. We went there for a good experience and they managed to ruin it all.
I ordered steak fried rice and a cowboy roll. The steak had a lot of fat and grizzle on it; so that wasn’t a great impression for me at all. The sushi roll was great! After I had eaten my sushi roll and some of my rice, I opened the paper bag that had the utensils in it and I found a dead fly inside😐so idk. I know people go there only to purchase some kind of ice cream cookie bars. It could be moochi.
Love this place. Super quiet at lunch time.
Excellent meal and show!
They were so busy that we could not get in to try their food,or their service.
Excellent meal
Didn't stay for long. AC was not working on a very hot day. It must have been 90° in the restaurant. We opted to go elsewhere. Some acknowledgement of the problem would have been nice when we walked in. You didn't think we would notice??
We just had the loveliest dining experience. The waitress was truly friendly and seemed happy to be there. Our chef was personable, funny and talented!
Staff was great, food was great !
Good sushi. It was really hot inside the restaurant but the food and service were good. They serve hibachi and their air conditioner was not keeping the temperature down but the sushi was really good and deserves the stars. Atmosphere was fun for a small place. There were a lot of people dining in. Looks like they were seeing the Barbie move at the nearby theater. I would go back and try the hibachi.
The food was great! I ordered the shrimp hibachi meal with a panther roll as an appetizer. The shrimp was a bit dry, the fried rice was the best I have ever eaten, and the panther roll was delicious even for cold leftovers the next day. There was a 90 minute wait on a Saturday night for the grill, so unfortunately, we ended up sitting in a booth in the bar area. The service was not that great, but it wasn’t the worst I have ever had. The restaurant was so hot though! My friends and I were guzzling down the water to keep from sweating.
I have never been to a place like this before, so I was very excited and not sure what to expect. The dressing on the salad was strange looking and I don't try new things often, but to my surprise it was very delicious, as was our meal. My companion ordered steak and I ordered the steak & shrimp. I didn't expect to have my steak cut up for me, but they did it while it was cooking. I would have preferred a touch more seasonings, especially on my steak, but the whole meal was really delicious. And I don't know where they get their shrimp, but I think those were the meatiest shrimp I've ever eaten!
The staff were polite and helpful in deciding what to order, and it was cool to watch our chef prepare our meal. It was just the two of us though and I think it would be much more fun and exciting with a large crowd.
What a great place to take the family!!! We've been here twice now and it was fantastic both times!!!
It was fantastic! The presentation. The food. Can't wait to go back.
Great place to have some hibachi fried rice!

Fav sushi spot cheap drinks also
Birthday celebration 🎂 🎈 🎉 🎁 🍾
If you want the full hibachi show go on the weekend. Food was amazing and even without the full show still p fun. Try to go with a group of 6 so you don't have to wait to see if anyone else is going to join. Haven't tried sushi.
Wonderful food 👍🏼
Great service over the phone 👍🏼
Thank you
IF YOU LOVE FRIED RICE, THIS IS YOUR NEW GO TO PLACE! I can’t stop eating it.
Very taste but portion is to small
Ordered Scallops and Shrimp and fried shrimp. No flavor at all.
They aren't the best at heating or cooling the restaurant appropriately but the food is fantastic and the staff is very good.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend and will be back!
Super fun experience! The food was delicious as well.
Food was amazing
If you want fake Japanese food, go here. Katsu don and Katsu curry SUCKED!! Better Japanese food in Southlake
Great food! Had the chicken and steak with some kaarage and it was excellent.
This place was fun. The waiting staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had people in our party who had never been to a Hibachi restaurant before. The Chef was a treat. He was full of tricks and fun. He got everyone at our table into the action. There was never one dull moment. You could tell everyone around us was having a blast as well. I know this because of all the laughter, flames, and excitement. Loved this place.
Always like the sushi.
Found my new favorite cocktail here!!!
We love this place and we go all the time.
The food was good. Not our favorite fried rice or ginger dressing in DFW, but the steak and veggies were good. We also had a sushi roll. It was good and fresh. They have a large menu, with combos, bento boxes and Asia dishes. Something for everyone.
Service was good but food was lame and over priced, sushi had barley any fish mostly avocado, fake crab and roll fell apart easily, presentation was also bad, very over priced to other sushi places I've been too
DO NOT EAT HERE! This dinner was supposed to be a reward for a hard-working week in school. Walk-ins seated before reservation groups. Reservation times do not matter. Don't bother calling as the customer service sucks. Consumer experience is not a focus of this restaurant or its employees. 45+ minute waits after seating walk-in groups in front of a group with a reservation is not going to work for anyone!
Reservations mean nothing! We called ahead at like 6 since my son had really been begging me for hibachi all week and didn't want a long wait. Ended up being pretty busy so we made a reservation for 3 for 745. After we hung out at the house for a little bit and a 45 min drive in the rain. We arrive on time to the hostess telling us to wait a moment while she sat a full table a group of 5 and a group for 3. She comes back and we tell her we had a reservation for 3 at 745 and she tells us the wait will be 45 min. Us, super shooked Pikachu faced, we explain again how we had a reservation. The hostess then explain how reservations work, (but really dont work) as they sit walk ins. They literally sat walkins in front of us, and asked us to wait 45 mins from our reservation. We just left. My son and us have previously loved this place. He worked so hard for this reward where we were going to celebrate him and now he's left crying and wailing in the car. Thanks alot
Don't bother making a reservation! Called at 545 to make a reservation for 745 Saturday night. Once the reservation was confirmed, we drove about 45 minutes in the rain from North Fort Worth to eat here. Once we arrived right at 745 for our reservation, the front hostess told us she would be right back and sat everyone in the front (all walkins!). Once she came back up to the front about 5 minutes later, she told us we would have to wait ANOTHER 45 MINUTES for a table. All in all, reservations mean nothing. They will seat any walk-in before a reservation group. Don't bother coming here. The food is the same as many other hibachi restarunts in the area, but the service at this location is well below sub-par!
The chef was very fun and the food was fantastic!
Food Was Good But The Ginger Sauce Was Toxic.
Pretty good quality for sushi. But the ratio for their sushi was not enough rice, when i got salmon sushi.
Great service for hibachi. And we got to make a scene for our 14 year old for her birthday!
My family ate there this weekend, the food was OK.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY SOMEONE THERE ILLEGALLY USED OUR CREDIT CARD FOR A PERSONAL PURCHASE! FOR THIS REASON WE WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. I'VE CALLED THE MANAGER SEVERAL TIMES BUT
SHE IS NEVER AROUND OR WON'T TAKE MY PHN CALL. THIS IS VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
Excellent food and great service. The dragon head and drums for our 10yr old girls bday dinner made it a super special night. Will definitely come here again
The people here are so lovely and the food is wonderful. Will definitely come back soon!
I've frequented this hibachi place a few times a year for the last 10 years. Over time it's slowly gone down hill. I will still recommend it for the food but the environment and atmosphere is not nice anymore. It was super hot so they had box fans on the floor circulating air. They switched to paper napkins and there were some strewn about on the floor. The place itself is no longer reflective of the menu prices. The service was good to fair. The chef is always great. All and all, this place has more turned into family dining (bring your kids) rather than a romantic or fun evening out for adults or friends.
Best Hibachi place in the area. Food was delicious, entertainment value was even better!
Went to celebrate my littles 7th Birthday It was great service was on point and the Hibachi Cook was entertaining Funny super nice and understanding with my girls
his name was Huang (sorry if misspelled) But I was able to tell he was popular cause the next table were all frequent customers We enjoyed his service Food was yummy Kids went to town, I ordered a mai tie which was delicious!!! One was enough for me !!! lol Definitely worth a try
Wonderful cuisine and delightful staff!
The food was good and the grill master was excellent, but the service was poor.
Easily the best Habatchi place ever. Biggest portions and tastiest food. Staff is amazing! Love this place so much to the point I drive from McKinney to eat here!
My brother wanted hibachi for his birthday, so we came here. Everything was delicious, the drinks were so good as well. Just a fabulous full time! The mojito especially the strawberry was so good my husband had to order one!
Extremely expensive for poor customer service and poor quantities they charge me 9 $ just for 2 Tiny piece of salmon super tiny
Ridiculous never will come back never
This is ridiculous you guys charge so much for this ???? Nah go somewhere
They give you Tiny piece
We stopped in for sushi at lunch on a Sunday. The gyoza were crispy and the tuna cut was excellent. We enjoyed the colleyville and Cajun rolls but recommend passing on the tuna tower. The tower while spicy felt like it was missing a flavor. For the price, the rolls and tower felt on the small side.
Very good.
Great local restaurant. We had sushi and it was delicious. There is a happy hour 4:30-6:30 on drinks, apps, and rolls.
I ordered the sirloin steak, my steak was incredibly salty, everything else was salty as well but not as salty as the steak. I took two bites of my steak and then said something, the cook had asked me twice if I was okay prior to me saying something so he knew something was off by the way I wasn’t eating, but I finally worked up the courage to say something.. He said I told him too late and that I had already eaten some, I took TWO BITES, in which I responded he can take the rest of the steak back, I don’t want it to go, nor do I want free things. He said he would remake it for me, I kept trying to say no, for him to take the steak and take it off my ticket. A male waiter stopped to see what was going on but left the situation I’m guessing to get the next waitress that came. He insisted so I said it was fine I’d pay for the salty steak I had and I didn’t want it remade because I’m full and ready to leave. He insisted, then a waitress came and insisted also, I told her how awkward this was and that I just wanted to pay for the steak and leave, she said it was okay and he will remake it (she was very sweet about it). I finally gave in. He remade my steak, took the old steak, and now I’m sitting here with fried rice soaked in salty steak juice a whole new steak, im already full and embarrassed that it turned into a multiple person ordeal when all I wanted was the steak taken off my ticket and taken away, I was not trying to get free steak, I was not going to take home the salty steak.
I love this place I really do but I feel like this incident wasn’t handled properly, it was drawn out and embarrassing for me. And I wish they would have just let me pay for my salty steak when I expressed my discomfort.
Fantastic food and service. Best Hibachi we have ever had.
Good food and fun dining.
Had sushi and hibachi dinner. The staff was courteous and the hibachi chef was careful to not surprise the young children. Good quality of food and was a pleasant experience.
Good prices & always delicious food. We always come back for more.
Everything was just OK. Not terrible by any means, just mostly average across the board.
It was my birthday and we went here and there was a 45 minute wait. We had a reservation and we were on time and we couldn’t eat. I cried myself to sleep cause my birthday dinner was ruined. Thanks kasai
Not worth the hibachi in Colleyville. Scheduled a birthday party and when arrived on time, told it would be best case - 30mins maybe more. Over priced for the service. Sad to disappoint a 12 year old. Thanks Kasai.
The staff in the front were very rude and unwelcoming. We won’t be back. Service when you first walk in is sometimes more important than even the service while you dine.
Amazing people and even better food! The hostess was super nice and went above and beyond. The server was very friendly and informative. The chef was hilarious and easy going; made the kids feel at home. An excellent family friendly restaurant, will definitely be returning.
Great place for a birthday celebration!
