If you want premium cuisine with first-class service, Thai Nakorn is the place for you! They serve authentic dishes that are so flavorful! So many amazing selections, you'll have to return to try more--and you'll want to! The pad thai noodles were amazing. The pompano fish was delicious, too. Looking forward to trying more on their menu!
We've been coming here for years and it's changed, but not necessarily in a totally bad way. I ordered the satay combo (chicken and pork), but they only gave me chicken. Luckily, it was so good, I didn't mind. The meat was so flavorful on its own, but it comes with a peanut sort of sauce, but it actually took away from the chicken, so I didn't use it. I also got Thai beef salad. This was flavorful, but very spicy. My friend got the shrimp and tofu pad Thai and you can't go wrong with that. It seemed a little under sauced and they've been skimping out more and more on their ingredients every year, even though the prices keep getting higher and higher. I understand inflation, but please don't start serving lower quality food and/or smaller portions to save money because, pretty soon, loyal customers will stop eating out. I think my biggest thing is the soda. If you want to establish yourself as a restaurant with fancier tables and menu than fast food, please don't serve me soda out of a can that i need to open myself and charge $3.00. It's low class, insulting, and unappealing. You make other great drinks; invest in a soda fountain.
I thought there was a reason I hadn't been back in a while and now I'm starting to remember. I have very fond memories of this place, from years before, but they are slowly being replaced by disappointment and sadness. 4 stars is being generous at this point. I doubt I will be back.
Went back for more. The yellow chicken curry was excellent. My daughter loved the drunken noodle. Had to have Tom Kha again!
The dishes were very good. The problem was that we had the Tom Kha as a starter and it was off the chart. Amazing! The portions were generous. The flavors were familiar and yet had unique touches. Very pleasant surprise! 👏👏👏
I recently visited Thai Nakorn restaurant and I must say I had a delightful experience. The customer service was impeccable - the staff were welcoming and efficient, ensuring that my dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
I ordered a variety of dishes and each one was a masterpiece. The crab fried rice was bursting with flavor, with generous portions of crab meat mixed in. The crying tiger was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and tender meat that was complemented by a tangy and spicy dipping sauce. The Tom Yum soup was a great starter, with a nice balance of sour and spicy flavors that really tantalized my taste buds. Finally, the green curry was the perfect blend of spice and creaminess, with tender pieces of beef and fresh vegetables.
Overall, I highly recommend this Thai restaurant to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience. The food is delicious and the customer service is exceptional - I can't wait to come back!
I was running an errand in the area and got hungry. I like Thai food and have had decent kick with Thai food in OC.
The place is convenient in Stanton. Upon entry there was a very heavy smell from kitchen. I chose a table most distant to kitchen. Their menu dons an extensive seafood selection, but the waitress refused to accommodate a wish for steamed fish in garlic sauce and lime. Tried to pick another option from the menu but was told they sold out. Very well. I chose TumYum soup with shrimp. It was served quickly. It was really spicy. Had plenty of mushrooms and prawns 👍🏼. They are generous with servings. Atmosphere varied but for lunch this was a place where people went for a business lunch or friends and families catching up after a long while.
I don’t go to Stanton often but if so, I would explore new additional establishments.
I was there on Christmas day for lunch it wasn't busy that day. Around three table including our. There were five servers. The waiter came to take our order but in the of ordering he just walk off and left us sitting there without finishing our order. Five minutes later someone else came. That was just rude. The food is delicious but service wasn't great. After finish and paid we left. The server went out and say we didn't leave a tip who does that when service was horrible. We feel bad so we give her $10 anyway.
A popular local Thai restaurant. Good food.
Portion is so small even after I’ve paid extra for extra portion
Please post correct open hours. I got there at 9pm and they told me they’re closed. The sign and website say 9:30pm.
Boring

I drive hereto pick up Thai food, because they have the best taste in all of OC with vegetarian options. Two days ago when I ordered a pick up, the person who took the order forgot to ask me the spice level. Mine is zero to mild. I didn't realize that until I started eating. I guess the default is medium, which is too hot for me. As a practice, they should ask and next time I will remember to specify if they don't.

This is a family owned restaurant that's been open for years. I've always had wonderful service. There's plenty of seating inside for parties of 2-12. There's free parking in the plaza. The pricing is reasonable for the portions.
good food good service and good environment
I just finished eating there, the food is terrible. Beef salad bad, pad thai very bad, very mushy....coconut soup rarely anything in it....very bad, would never come back ever...
I ordered the Beef Panang Curry. Delicious, a bit spicy but I liked it —just right for me! My server, Eileen, was friendly and came to see whether I was happy.
We been coming to this place for a couple of years. Lately the food has change. It's probably a different cook or they don't sample like before. Service has taken a dip we were there on Sunday we had to wait for a bit but that was understandable. The issue was when we were half way done with our food they kept trying to hurry us up. On numerous occasions offer to go boxes when we never ask and kept coming back to try to get the check. That was it for this place use to be good once they have regulars they don't care about service anymore.
Best Thai food around!! Service not so much, but the food is so good I don't care.
Price have going up alot. But food still taste the same. The good thing this restaurant been here for a long time. Place is nice and clean . Good for family environment
Great server and good food
I didn’t do anything wrong but the situation that I faced here embarrassed me. After my family and I happily finished our delicious meals, we payed the bill with a good tip. As the same time, I requested 5 togo boxes for our left over food for dinner because we visited LA and staying in a hotel. A couple minutes after I got everything done, I stepped out of the restaurant and waiting for my family who are still inside the restaurant finishing up and some of them using the restroom. As I waiting outside next to our car, one of the three waiters that served us came out to me asking for my order number. I am not sure what is the international here after my family and I were sitting inside the restaurant for over an hour and happily enjoying our home like meal. Wow! I regret choosing to eat at Thai Nakorn Restaurant after passing by many other restaurants as we drove there.
Horriable food and expensive. I told them no spicy and they put chilli on everything. Not a good experience I do not reccomend this thai place !!
The very very BEST Thai Cuisine restaurant in OC. A must go place, great food and service.
They said that they were close but it’s 8:45 pm and they close at 9:30 they said they were close?
All delicious!!!
Today me and my family orders 4 portion ,papaya salty crab, deep fry fish ,clam sate and oy choy but they only came out 2 order and they forgot 2 order I wait so long and over charge me papaya salad I see me only $16 they charge me $21 ,I am so disappointed 😞 I never came back there again ,bad service ,over charge, forgot your order
Food was very good and came out hot and fresh. The waitresses work very hard and are very nice based on how busy they were and short staffed they are.

Nice restaurant and food quality was good . Good service overall . Red curry and basil c recommended. They can do with some competitive price based on the location . Could also add better notice to indicate if it’s open or closed .

best thai spot in town!
🤗🥰
I called to order for take out. After 5 rings of the phone, someone answered and put me on hold, but I can hear the noise in the place, 5 minutes. Someone picked up and I asked on what veggies are in their Mixed Vegetables, and she said 'I don't know. Can you call again we are busy right now'🙄 I said never mind, I will call another place to order our dinner.
My favorite local spot for Thai food.
Love the spice basil fried rice.

This particular Thai Nakorn is exceptionally good. The foods are delicious and
The Thai food here is fresh, well-made, with a broad range of menu options. The service is good though expect a crowded restaurant experience less like a gourmet restaurant and more like a weekday option out, The physical restaurant has booths and tables. Nothing fancy here just good tasting Thai food. You will enjoy.
The food was mid, but the service was horrible. Felt like getting attacked by my server for sitting at a spot another server who greeted me told me to sit at. The restaurant was practically empty at the time of my arrival, so i’d assume anywhere they designate me should be okay, right? Oh, and cash only. No sign anywhere, no warning before entering or ordering. Not coming back.
The BEST Thai food restaurant I've been to. Service is great and the quality of food is just like eating in Thailand. ( I know because I've been to Thailand 20 times)
It passes the Thai test of having a picture of the king. Also, the food is great
Our favorite place to dine as a couple. We eat here at least 3 times a month lol faithfully. Crying tiger is the go to. (Pad see ew) or the beef pad Thai, pork spring rolls. Service is the best. We are always seated and served right away. Food is always hot and delicious!! Our kids love eating here also. The best fried rice and sticky rice. I would tell you my favorite drink to order but it’s not on the menu and I’m sorry I won’t share but it’s so delicious!!
Great waiters! Great food! What's not to love about this place. Definitely a great place to eat.
This is a great Thai restaurant located in Stanton. My personal favorite is the chicken medium spicy basil with a side of white rice. Ah man, every time I get this the flavor is on point and consistent. I love when the basil hits as you take a bite! My little one loves noodles so we got an order of vegetable chow mein. It really is enough on its own but it went well with the spicy chicken basil. Last we ordered the 4 PC egg rolls and the sweet sour sauce with it just set it over the top! I think i could just get like 3 of those orders one day.
As I saw the Spicy Basil Fried Rice on the menu -- which I had not seen elsewhere, I couldn't resist the temptation to sample its flavors. Along with that, I also ordered the Pad See Ew. Being a fan of basil but not particularly tolerant of spiciness, I knew this dish would be a make-or-break moment for my taste buds. To my delight, the Spicy Basil Fried Rice delivered a captivating blend of flavors, combining the distinct essence of basil with the satisfying crunch and heat of dried chili. The perfectly cooked chicken and shrimp as my choice of protein added another layer of excellence to the dish.
Moreover, I was thoroughly impressed with the generous portion sizes (see the photo), which is worth the price. The portion filled up to the top. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice left such a lasting impression on me that I can confidently say I would eagerly return to indulge in its flavors once again. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
OMG, I've been many different Thai places, but I've never had this much great thai place in my life.
Food was really good 👍🏾 😋
We have dined here for many years, this is One of the best Thai's food we go to when craving for Thai's food. We ordered papaya salad, spicy basil clams, mango sauce fried fish, they are all delicious. They have good portion for the price you paid.
Everything is good, I love it. Our family will come back.
My family and I usually come here and it's good service and food. My last trip however, we ordered some coconut jello dessert and after we had already eaten some of it, we noticed that there was actually white mold all over the dessert. The only thing we got was a it taken off our tab. If it wasn't for that, I'd have given higher ratings. I'd say double check the desserts and drinks, but the hot foods should be good.
Street style pad thai with beef is where its at
Some of the best thai ive had.
This is one of the most excellent services that we have had in a long time! All employees are super friendly. Food was just amazing, the Sea Food soup was very well done.
We ask the food with no spice to feel the flavor and everything was right on point! My wife said that even the water tasted great😃!
We'll definitely comeback again.

Authentic Thai food as far as I can tell. If youre looking for watered down white flavor look elsewhere. If you see a bunch of Asians waiting in line at an Asian restaurant, you know its gonna be good eats.
Great Meals we had the Thai Nakorn Steak. Pineapple Rice was the Bomb. And a Pineapple Salad. Totally Delicious and filling with lots to take home. Excellent lunch dinner for two!!!!!
If you want good authentic Thai food, this is the place. Service is always friendly, food is always good and they are pretty fast. I miss the owner Sam, I think he might still be at the Garden Grove location, but it was always good times when he was at tjis location on Beach Blvd.
My favorite Thai food in Orange County.
DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT THEY ARE SO RUDE & THEY MIGHT BE SPITTING IN YOUR FOOD.
They lied to us served us wrong dish , and later behaved so rude and abusive. The management don’t care for anything, they just act clueless.
This location is our absolute favorite for thai food. It's a bit of a drive for us but never disappoints. The crispy fried fish with mango salad is amazing. Pad see ew was perfect, wish I had room for some beef panang as that's always one of my favorite here as well. If we had more people with us I'd also get their pineapple fried rice and their bbq chicken.
Pad Thai is good but pineapple rice is dry.
Singha beer, Chicken Satay is the real deal #1
My first time. First impression- loved seeing family groups eating together. Generous portions to share, busy Sat night everyone was happy and servers friendly. I have to go back!
My go-to place for Thai food. Try beef salad or crying tiger if you'd like something new. The coconut ice-cream is served with Thai palm seeds
It reminds me of how people eat coconut ice-cream in Thailand.
One of the best Thai restaurants in Orange County, service is also excellent. Plenty of options for different palates. We had Tom Kha, fried fish with papaya salad, the ubiquitous yellow curry with chicken, which is my husband's litmus test for a good Thai restaurant (and he approves Thainakorn's). All good. Would love more dessert options but we're happy with mango with sticky rice.
Amazing Food and Staff.❤️😁🙌🤗 Will sure come back. Highly recommend!!!
I have my OngChoi! Yummmy!❤️❤️❤️
Excellent Thai food... Delicious beyond description... Their BBQ beef is one to die for... Fried rice is very tasty and aromatic... Sticky rice and mango is the dessert to end your meal with... We live almost 20 miles from That Nakorn but for us it is absolutely worth the drive .. I highly recommend this restaurant for Thai food lovers. Give this place a try...
Very bad services. Staff work like zombies, no communication, no hospitality.
Probably closest taste of Thai food from the mainland. I would go every day!
Best thai food ever!
Food is okay, slow service. We order mild spicy but the food come still too spicy. When we finish entree, they come to say the appetizer will come soon :) And I heard some people cancel dishes because they wait for too long
Always a great place for dinner
The crying tiger was good and the Thai tea was great, the only problem was the piece of hair I found in my crying tiger.
Street style pad Thai was excellent!
Had hair in my food had to pull it out of my mouth bad first experience
Good Thai restaurant. Love the food.
Excellent food and friendly and efficient service.
Ive been going here since i was a teenager and its been one of my main go to for great thai food. You can't go wrong with pad thai!
I've gone a couple times before and the first time was alright but only because we ordered the Yum Soup instead of the Clear Soup lol. It was too sweet and spicy for our tastes. The other times we ordered clear soup but with basils, the soup is a bit sweet. Just now, we ordered clear soup again without basils and it was good. Customer service wasn't that great.. they had given us someone else's order and served other people before us so we waited for a long time.
Food and service are really good! Our server Sandy was super nice! We ordered fried fish with mango salad, fish cakes, ong choy, pad see ew, pork jerky and pad Thai. Everything was delicious.
Been coming here for about 5 years and the quality has definitely been going down. This used to be the best Thai restaurant around but I just went recently and the chicken satay was really dry, and the curry was oversalted. Hopefully they get their act together and go back to how they used to be
I’m an old Thainakorn customer from the Buena Park days in the’80s. Had a 3 order takeout last night: nam sod crispy rice, Penang curry with tofu, and pad Thai noodle. The first 2 were very good like old times, the pad Thai noodle was poor, noodles all stuck together in globs, no egg, almost no green onions, very little chicken. Has this place changed management? Sonny would never sell this very poor pad Thai noodle.
I usually give them a five star but this time it was different I ordered the beef salad and it wasn't the ribeye beef cut that they say they use as a matter of fact it tastes different too! Upon closer inspection it look like if it was an organ meat of some kind I don't know what type of organ meat was used but I know it wasn't ribeye steak I can tell you that much! I have 4 years experience as a meat wrapper with Stater Brothers and I know my cuts of meats. I was disappointed to say the least and it was a darn pity shame for them to have done that. On a positive note I did love the custard that was in the young coconut.
DELICIOUS.
I got beef pad see euww.. It's more eew than anything .. it was dry AF like the chef forgot the eggs and oyster? sauce.. no flavor or spice.. just plain noodles greens and beef. I will never return to this.
Very friendly and attentive staff.Ordered their Tom Yum soup with chicken. Quite delicious.
I love their services. The foods are delicious too.
Best restaurant pad thai I ever had and in a good portion size too! My daughter loves it. I make my own, but come here to taste the best. Also their Thai fried rice is super delicious.
This was the second time eating here. The first time the food was exceptional. Not sure whoooy it was totally different the second time?
Authentic food that is consistently outstanding. The service has much to be desired but other than that it’s amazing!
Food was delicious, service was great!
Food was delicious and well priced
Not busy at all. Staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Food was excellent - the curry was perfect for the chilly evening! Everything tasted fresh and the servings were big enough to share. Fair prices too! I haven't been since they changed locations, but we will definitely be back!
Awesome food and service
Best chow mein I've had anywhere. Amazing Thai food. Had the chicken and shrimp chow mein and Thai tea. Came out to 15 dollars
Food is good and i love how the food is made fast and service is great!
