I’m local and I come here so often. I’ve tried so many different Thai restaurants but this one is my favorite. Their food is soooooooo good. I’ve had their fried rice, almost all their appetizers like the spring rolls, kimchi fries, curry puff pastries, also beef and chicken pho, pad see ew and pad Thai. And the best thing ever? Their chicken Khao soi. Everything is a 10/10 and nothing better than to wash the food all down with a Thai iced tea.
This place has fantastic food and service. We’ve visited a few times and we’ve been blown away by the food every time. We’ve gotten the pho, both vegetarian and chicken, pineapple fried rice, and spice noodles. Everything had been exquisite. The service is so friendly as well. Will be a go-to for years to come!
Went here for a small meal on a Saturday night and I ordered the Banh mi... looked nice and was pretty tasty. The shrimp spring rolls were OK, sauce was tasty. I think it was busy and I waited a long time.... I would probably go back to try again... Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Small outside seating is nice for a change.
We ordered the pork Bahn Mi and chicken Pho. Both were delicious and ingredients tasted very fresh. They have a cute outdoor space, where we sat and ate. Service was fast and we received our food quickly. Was a perfect afternoon lunch spot.
Me and my roommate went out on a sunny day for a walk to the park and walked by this restaurant, we sat outside and order healthy selection of food, I was happy about them having pork skewers with an salad, I experienced a lenguaje barrier with the service, I was misunderstood, i wanted to replace lemon Soda for seltzer water and real lime juice, I explained I wanted to try and not get to much sugar in the food; the skewers had some sweet dry glaze, they felt sticky like sweet jerkey, the person had to make the mistake, didn’t understand... this made me feel un-welcomed and decided to take it to go, this restaurant made me feel it was take out service .(My roommate also asking to not use cilantro them giving him lots of it, he really dislikes it) why would you do what was advised not to do by your customers, that’s never a way to any service in a business lol
It's dark and cold. You want something cozy. Come get a khao soi. It will hit the spot!
Maybe the only Thai restaurant I've ever been too where the iced tea errs towards too milky; most other places, you've gotta worry about it being too sweet.
I ordered on seamless. It must be the worst food expensive of my life. I ordered my food and after it was late more then 20 minutes I gave them a call. They were very confused as to why I didn't get my food. They were telling me that they only had a request from two streets over at the same building number. I confirmed with my recipe that I put in the address correctly and repeated the address about 4 times. I overheard the lady talking to another person saying it had been delivered. Then she told me it was on it's way and she would call the driver and have them bring my food first. Great I check with maps and the restaurant is about 7 min away. After another 50 min wait I call them again. They let the phone go to voice mail about 5 times and picked up and hung up 2 times. Then they finally called me back. They told me the food had been delivered about 10 minutes ago. I told them that I never received a call or notice. She instructed me to go to the door and I found my food on the floor outside my door. With the covid 19 going around I was completely grossed out with this and throw away all the outer packaging asap. At this point I was starving and ready to put the ordeal behind me and I thanked the lady and went to enjoy my meal. I open the shrimp spring rolls and the smell of raw fish hit me hard. They served me raw shrimp in my food. The shrimp was completely raw still transparent and I was disgusted. I tried calling back about 3 times before giving up on the entire restaurant. I will never order from them again I am extremely disappointed with the service provided and would not recommend trying it.
cute place with the best banh mi ive ever had, it had the crispiest most flavourful baguette with a delicious mayo sauce... also the shrimp summer rolls were amazing.... the larb kai had such a complex yet well rounded fresh flavour.... also the viet iced coffee was so good! so glad i randomly found this place

Went with a group and was pleasantly surprised. The food is super affordable and delicious. My sister ordered the banh mi and it came with TWO whole banh mi per order for only $10.50. The boba is alright, I think the other drinks would be better. We got the pad thai which was absolutely amazing, green curry, sukho noodles, and pineapple fried rice. After tip and tax average no more than $20 per person. hidden gem super chill atmosphere almost like eating at home highly recommend. My friends and I will be coming back here for sure!!!
Banh mi is amazing. Place is in a nice spot.
Ordered takeout tonight and was presently surprised by the quick turnaround time, friendly service, and delicious food. I wish my tofu banh mi had more daikon, but I think it was a good size and great flavor. The chive pancakes were delicious and the fresh summer rolls hit the spot- both came with yummy dipping sauces. My partner got the chicken satay banh mi and he thought it was great as well- but also wanted more vegetables (which we will both request next time.) I will definitely order again!
Dinning experience at Sai Tong was exceptional!
They food and ambiance were great , but service was hospitality heaven personified . The food has both authentic Thai dishes as well as Thai -American versions and a great deal of vegetarian options . They have a decent drink menu as well . They have two floor of dinning area and a private dinning area for large gathering . Our server for the night was Mr Piphu , his service was impeccable , he is well versed with everything on both the food and drink menu , thought our time there he anticipated every single need of ours and attended to it with grace and perfection ! He often checked up on us to make sure we were enjoying our mealtime , while meticulously tending to our needs. We were a party of two and we thoroughly enjoyed here . If anyone looking to have authentic Thai food with great service this spot is a must. If You do so Make sure you get a table upstairs on Friday night and ask for Mr Piphu for advice on their delectable meals you’ll love it .
They’re a hidden gem in Windsor Terrace! Everything is always tasty and consistent and the prices are hard to beat!
Employees is bot helpful at all, and I feel lik I racially profiled.
Very solid Thaï place. Just moved in the neighborhood and now go there often. I've always taken one of their soupy dishes (incl. Pho) and they were always delish. I must say when they say spicy, they really mean it. Price wise it's also great. Would definitely recommend.
Chicken satay SW excellent.
Food can be inconsistent

I was in the mood for a nice tasty clean salad. Went into after scoping out their menu taped on their window. There were a max of 2 patrons already dining and a couple of people swinging by. I placed my order—just one item and it felt like forever. It was hot, they seem understaffed and didn’t engage or bother to offer a cup of water. After I received my order, I went home to see a messy chopped salad with meager amounts is ingredients. The salad was basic, the peanut sauce was ok. It didn’t really fill me up. I’ll def will be checking out other Thai restaurants in the area next time.
Place was empty took 20 minutes to make a sandwich. Lots of attitude. Pork was OK but small. Veggies barely pickled. Had high hopes but this is a lousy Vietnamese sandwich. Not recommended. Just go to hancos.
Good price, and authentic food. Not paint by numbers Thai food like much of bk. Nice ppl.
Good Thai food! Small little place, good service, small outdoor seating area in the summer.
Be nice neighborhood restaurant - small but joyful.
True Thai experience.
Food is top notch.
the pho is delicious, and the summer rolls are one of my favorite meals. the brown sugar boba is amazing, but the taro isnt sweet enough for my tastes, so if you like drinks with less sugar the taro tea is a great idea. the atmosphere is beautiful and wait times are super short. five stars!!
Nice meal in a quiet neighborhood!
Okay banh mi's
excellent pad thai, combined beef and roast duck as an extra treat...paid a little extra but totally worth it
Chicken Satay Banh Mi is absolutely Smackin’
Used to be one of my absolute favorite thai places…until the price rose and quality decreased. i understand inflation is damaging to small businesses, which is why i still purchased. I believed the food used to be worth the price, even with the price increase. But now, i feel they no longer make their food with love. it just feels like overpriced thai food. my favorite dish, pad see ew, came pretty unseasoned, and has been for a couple months now. my noodles are white, they usually come nice and brown, and filled with flavor. Very sad day today.
Good food
Amazing food quick service must go here
Really enjoy this neighborhood spot. Food has always been great. The Kimchi fries are really good!
Really delicious crispy sandwiches. Pretty consistently good too
Try the thai tea an nice food
The khao soi is actually very good here. Almost as if I was in Chiangmai! A must try !
great local place, bubble tea and bahn mi pork taste great
Quick and tasty…convenient too!
A cute little hole in the wall that delivers flavor packed dishes. The Banh Mi (sandwiches) are always good, as is the bubble tea. The summer rolls could definitely use more shrimp. There is indoor seating, however the outdoor setup is cute.
The Pho and Banh Mi are both excellent! As is the Green Curry. Highly recommend!
Stand Thai is an extremely good Thai restaurant that consistently delivers delicious lunch and dinner options at a reasonable price point. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable, and they will remember you after a few visits. If you’re looking to try a Thai place, this is a great option!
Food is lackluster. Got pad thai and spring rolls - both of which were pretty meh.
It was a perfect day to eat outside and I had a delicious grilled shrimp salad delivered by a considerate waitress. My only suggestions would be to use less incense inside the restaurant, and to make available the fruit "slushes" listed on the back of the chalkboard. I definitely would have ordered a watermelon slush today to go with my salad!
Delicious eats and friendly service.
I love their food taste
Great experiences ordering takeout to pick up. Orders were ready on time. Would recommend the green curry, tofu sandwich, scallion cakes and pad thai. Thai bubble tea was ok, but some of the bubbles did stick together. Overall excellent local choice for taking out thai food.
Such a hidden gem. The passion fruit bubble tea is worth the trip alone. Very very nice staff.
Best duck pad thai in all of brooklyn
This place is a low key spot, but a hidden gem. Since I stumbled upon this restaurant i've been ordering food to-go roughly once a week. The food has such delicious taste and flavor. If you enjoy thai cuisine you will love this place.
So yummy! Love their sticky rice, I always get it for dessert. I’ve had the duck buns and the duck pad Thai, and the duck is always phenomenal. I’ve also had the chicken pad Thai and it’s always sooo good. Extremely well seasoned, great portion, I love the sauce! I’ve also had the pepper steak- yum!! Love this neighborhood spot.
Best bubble tea in the neighbourhood
Yummy Pork Buns!
Great Thai Iced Tea!
Good food. Drink favor
It’a a terrible mixed cuisine!

They were very careful and diligent with all their actions during this cautious time. I appreciated that and thank them!! And the food and service was delish. They only have one phone line? So don’t give up and call back in a couple of minutes. They are open!!!!
Great food, decent pricing
Really good and recommended to anyone who prefers Thai
Fantastic Spicy Noodle (aka drunken noodles)
This is my neighborhood comfort food 🖤✨
The Bulgogi Flank Steak Sandwich and Mango Coconut Sticky Rice is Amazing!
The food is delicious but the boba tea is not great
Decent food but a little over priced, for a better Vietnamese sandwich Id go elsewhere. I will try again just to make sure I didn't catch them on a bad day.
Good food, definitely worth trying
Best Thai in the area, though not for purists, maybe. They have a mix of Thai and other Asian cuisine. My wife and I love it.
I decided to try this new place which is located where Thai Tony's used to be. I was a big fan of Thai Tony's so I figured I would try this place. I ordered for delivery. I was told it would take 30-40 minutes. 35 minutes after placing the order I received a call to inform they were out of the flat rice noodles I ordered. They asked if they could substitute with the thin rice noodles. I was hungry so I said OK. After another 30 minutes the food arrived. I asked the delivery guy "how much?" Since he spoke no English he just held the bill up in my face. I had to go get my glasses to read the bill. I had ordered Shrimp dumplings ($7) and spicy steak noodles ($14) but the bill was $30. I had to call the restaurant to point out the overcharge and they said I was correct and it would be $22.85.
As for the food itself, it was mediocre. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good enough to overcome the lapses in service. There are better Thai options in the neighborhood and I won't be ordering from here again.
I live near by and Stang is so much better than the thai food place that previously resided in the space. The spicy udon is very yummy. I've also had the duck buns which are just the right amount of savory and sweet. The rice dishes are also delicious.
We ordered the Larb with Tofu, Larb with Pork, vegetable fresh spring rolls, and vegetable and tofu pad Thai. All of the dishes taste delicious and it arrived in a paper bag instead of a plastic bag. Will definitely make this our go-to Thai place in the neighborhood!
bahn mi and pho in Kensington, hurrah!
