I had the lunch special with hot and sour soup and chicken Pad Woon Sen and they were both delicious with good size portions. Then I had the coconut ice cream with sticky rice and that was delicious also. Homemade with very simple ingredients..

He did, and it was awesome. I love Thai Bistro! In fact, I’m going there right now!

Went for hot soup. Got Tom Kha. It was yummy! All the dishes ordered by other tables smelled and looked delicious too. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in Kerrville.

Staff and food were both great. Green Curry w/ Shrimp and Massaman Curry. Atmosphere felt like I was entering a not so tidy private residence, though.

Hidden secret! Absolutely the freshest egg roll we have ever had -- outstanding. Pad Thai is also very good -- little spicy for our taste, though. Definitely recommend this place.

First time there few weeks ago and it was great, I was skeptical about this place since every time I pass by I don't see any movements. But , I called to reserved a table for my mom's birthday, when we got there, it was ready for us! No waits, food was great! My kids don't like that kinds of food so they have the options of chicken nugg6and fries and they were happy! The chicken was homemade and the fries too! They loved it, I tried one and it tastes great like real chicken!! Service was great, too. Very nice lady and the server it was a guy and he was very friendly. Prices were great for what we eat. Will come back for sure!!

The food is always delicious, freshly prepared and nicely presented, even take-out. I love that you can choose your preferred spice level, 1-10 (or zero, if you're my Hubby 😉) on every dish.
My favorite is always the Tom Kha Gai (Chicken Galangal soup), although you can order it with any protein or without (Tom Kha). It's the ultimate comfort food 😌

So cozy! Felt like dinner at a friend's home and the service matched. I was immediately at ease there. The food was so fresh and I could see they grow the herbs and green onions they use there on the walk up. It was the best Pad Thai and fried bananas I've ever had!!! The chicken was juicy! We stayed near Kerrville TX on a trip and thought we'd enjoy some Thai food. We were very pleased at this restaurant!! Hubby had Pad Thai with chicken and I had Cashew Chicken. They were really good and seasoned according to our wishes (scale of 0-10). We had eeggrolls as well and they were great. The service was attentive and the prices are very reasonable. Great place!

Very nice people, me and my family LOVED their food! We ordered a large order of food and they did not miss a single item, they even threw in extra watermelon and packages of chocolates for our kiddos! Would recommend! Will order again! Thank you!

Got the pad woon sen and it was sooo good. I've only tried it one other time at a difference place but the one here beat it by far. I love that they put tomatoes in it. The eggrolls were good as well. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the egg drop soup. It was just too thick for my liking. Just my opinion based on what I like. It did have good flavor though. Just too thick

Had the Thai Beef salad which was sooo YUMMY!! The hot and sour soup was delicious as well. My husband has the beef noodle soup and the chicken wings, he really enjoyed it. Cheese rolls are always exciting to me when on the menu but these were a little over stuffed and not fried long enough for my liking. We tried the steamed dumpling and it wasn’t what you’d expect, it was more of a meatball wrapped in a dumpling.

I love eating at the Thai Bistro. This restaurant is located in an old, two story frame house making it a quaint, homey place to have a delicious meal. The service is timely, courteous, and professional. The food takes some time to be prepared, but when you taste it, it is worth the wait. Don't let the lack of cars in the parking lot deter you. I hope much of their business is delivery or pick up, because the food is too good to miss. The eggs rolls are piping hot and crispy; the soup is just the right temperature and there is a good variety. The main courses are all prepared with your choice of meat. I try to eat here at least once a week.

Service is fast, you get good value for your money. It doesn't feel like a restaurant, more like you are eating in someone's home, and compared to other Thai restaurants there is not as much flavor. Also sporadic hours. You do however, get friendly service and the food is fresh.

Chicken Satay and Shrimp with Egg rolls. Delicious. Would have given 5 stars but they messed up the Pineapple fried rice, it was actually Basil fried rice. It was very good but not what we ordered. They did correct the bill, but, still wasn't what we ordered.

Well wow. I have eaten Thai in many small towns and this is by far the best. We tried Thai Bistro for the first time yesterday and ordered the Thai beef salad and green curry with chicken, which came with your choice of side and we got the hot and sour soup all to go. The Thai beef salad was SO tender and had an amazing flavor! Absolutely will order this every time. It doesn’t have much cabbage, but we didn’t mind as the flavor was perfect. A 5 spiciness was not hot, more mild. The green curry was also wonderful, a 4 was fairly spicy and would call it a medium on the spice level which is perfect. Not too hot and not too mild. The hot and sour soup tasted very home made which I love! Will also always order this. Can’t wait to come back to try more dishes! And convince the owner to give me a cooking lesson 😊

There are probably many reasons you would want to consider this restaurant. First, they were one of the few restaurants in Kerrville open on this snowy Thursday during a week long polar vortex event. Second, the food truly is remarkable. Third, they were the only restaurant in town who would deliver on this snowy Thursday of a polar vortex event. Then there is the ever important matter of customer service. The lady taking my order on the phone was very courteous and very thorough and likewise the gentleman making the delivery was very friendly and polite. But really, the food is amazing. Ample portions, fair price. I had the sesame chicken and there is also some hot and sour soup waiting for dinner and because of this snowy situation combined with the state's third world infrastructure there too is fried rice for tomorrow.

First time ordering here and having delivery. The gentleman caller was very patient and pleasant with me as I tried to understand what kinds of food they offer. I thought I could get yakisoba or similar, and he was gracious enough to explain his culture and the type of food better. I went with a beef and rice noodle lunch that is to die for. The egg rolls were fresh and delicious and they sent the food with a Godiva chocolate! Delivery was super fast. The portions and prices are very reasonable. Will definitely order again!

Uber Eats had Thai Bistro listed, so we placed an order. The order continued to get delayed to well over an hour after the original time it was supposed to be delivered. So we called the restaurant and they explained to us that they are not supposed to be listed on Uber Eats and they never even received our order. However, they offered to take our order and deliver it themselves even though it was almost closing time. The owner of the restaurant himself delivered our order on his way home for the night. That is service that cannot be beat. On top of that the food was INCREDIBLE, so fresh and delicious. (He also plans to make sure his restaurant is removed from Uber eats so this doesn’t happen to anyone else).

Great little place - great food and service. Not much in the way of view which is why not a 5. They give you plenty of food. I had Pad Thai with shrimp and there were 10 good size shrimp. Husband had cashew chicken and couldn't finish it all.
