Their president’s bbq beef was too burnt for our liking. Yellow curry was too watery. And, their papaya salad had iceberg lettuce mixed in, which we didn’t like. Overall, I think everything could have been better, and they ought to do something about the annoying flies that were hovering our dishes.

Great food, service was a mix hence the 3-star.
The guy helping us was nice and friendly, but the other staff wasn’t as nice. We asked for soup recommendation and she just gave us a very short answer with a bit of attitude. Room for improvement for Customer service.

Had an excellent Tofu Mushroom dish, but the thai basil was just flavorless. Very nice ambiance and good service makes it a 3.5/5.

First time here and wow, I would definitely come back! Parking lot is very small, so keep that in mind because at 6:30 it was packed inside. I had the chicken satay appetizer and coconut soup with vegetables to start…the soup was delicious and full of flavor!

I then had the spicy basil soft crab dish (forgot to take the picture) which was good as well, but in hindsight I should have gotten the jumbo shrimp or a meat dish since the crab was fried (I missed that on the menu, my fault). Also, they have another menu with photos of the majority of the items on the regular menu - super helpful to see what you’ll actually be eating.

I would definitely return next time I’m in the area for work to try more of their menu! Lots of good options from what I saw at the tables around me.

We had a pretty large group and were seated in a covered patio, which was a little too warm and humid. It's a popular restaurant so it was crowded. I can not comment on prices as our hosts had preselected the menu. Also, parking is tight and limited, but there was sufficient street parking to the south and around the corner. It's probably not easy to maneuver for those in wheelchairs but not impossible.

Excellent food. Penang with chicken, pineapple fried rice, Tom ka gai soup, all fabulous. We were there on a Sunday. Bad idea. The restaurant was so incredibly loud and too many large parties, My friends and I couldn't hear each other speak! If I didn't live so far away, I'd just get take out and not dine in.

I think the owner came to ask if he should pose next to the fried calamari for me to take a picture but I got confused and said no lmao

I ordered a noodle meal with veggies. I received the meal with noodles only and no veggies. I called twice and explained the situation and I was told that the manager would call me back. However it's been more than a week and no one has called me to rectify the situation.

Great place to go, and they have the best Thai food you can find. I love the roasted duck curry and the moo ping.

The atmosphere is cozy, and well worth any wait. The roasted duck curry and the pad Thai were exquisite, and the portions are massive. Hopefully you make room for dessert because their ice cream is deliciously homemade!

President Thai has been our neighborhood Thai place for many years. As such, I tend to forget how great it is. I've eaten in many Thai restaurants over the years, but President has seldom been equaled and never surpassed. It has a huge menu and reasonably-priced lunch specials. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful flavorful Thai food. Attentive service. Priced as expected for high quality food. We were not disappointed.

The atmosphere was pleasant including the service and the food. There is a wide variety of food to choose from. There was no waiting even though the restaurant was full.

Do NOT order takeout here unless you want to wait for 1 hour AFTER they tell you your order is coming right out all the while the the only place to wait being the only way in/out of the kitchen and the entrance so people are constantly bumping into each other with no space.

Easily the most chaotic pickup experience I’ve encountered in my life. I submitted my order at 6:20pm and received my order 7:40pm even though they said it was ready at 7pm. I had gotten there at 6:45pm and they told me to come back in 15 minutes. I would’ve given up on the order had the manager not told me that my order is coming soon at 7:05pm… The crazy thing is that there is 0 protocol or process for pickup. They don’t say the names of the orders that are ready for pick up and they don’t have anyone taking the names of people that are there for pickup. One guy next to me had his food sitting on the shelf for 30 minutes before he got lucky enough that someone finally got around to asking him for his order name - so he basically waited for half an hour standing in a crowded area for nothing.

Good gourmet Thai food.

One of my favorite sit down Thai restaurants in San Gabriel Valley. The food is delicious, the decor is nice, and great service. I love their Yellow Curry (with Chicken). The only downside of this location is the parking.

We ordered seafood tum yum, it was sweet and lacked flavor. Spring rolls were dry. Beef satay was the only thing we ate. The staff is friendly and attentive, no complaints about the staff!

There is a beautiful (but narrow) patio; great service and the coup-de-grace, super fantastic food. My date and I walked into this place and it was already almost full but they could seat the two of us very quickly. We weren't very hungry so we shared a plate of their Thai Toast appetizer (you should try this) and President's Salad (just an standard salad) but the peanut sauce came on the side nice and warm, and made it spectacular. Reasonably priced, too.

We arrived about an hour before closing but they were still pretty busy. The food was not good. I ordered the crispy pork which was soaking in a bed of Chinese broccoli and sauce so it was soggy and far from crispy. The pad seewu was mushy and had a weird flavor. The only thing the 3 of us could eat was my sister's spicy fried rice and that was unfortunate. We've been to alot of Thai places and this was one of the worst in terms of food flavor and quality. Spent over $80 for 3 people and just felt gross eating the food. We didn't finish any of our dishes.

The food was excellent. The room was bright and the restaurant was full at lunchtime. A bit on the pricey side though. After lunch my car was stuck in the parking lot. Due to the heat while waiting for AAA to come we sat inside the entrance and ordered 3 more drinks (water and (lemonade). The price was $16.00!! Instead of offering water for free they made another profit while we waited for my car to be towed. We will not be returning.

My family has avoided dining in since the mid-2010s, due to the packed-in tables creating a not-entirely pleasant atmosphere. We usually enjoy the takeout, but the food has deteriorated in quality over time. They try to make dishes seem bigger by putting in excessive amounts of cheaper ingredients. Below is a photo of what was left after my household ate some takeout silver noodles with shrimp: onions, onions, celery, and onions. (I typically try to order everything w/out onions in order to avoid this problem.)

Delicious and great customer service

Came here around 5:30 for dinner so there wasn't much of a wait. However, there were already quite a lot of people seated and only 2 parking spots left. The parking lot is a bit cramped but they do have extra parking available in the next building if you drive more. We were seated almost right away and ordered the Pad See Ew (17.95), President BBQ Beef (21.95), and the Tom Yum Soup with Chicken. The soup was served first and after around 10 minutes of waiting. The soup wasn't what I expected- too salty and sour. It didn't fit my taste so I couldn't drink much of it and only ate the chicken and mushroom in it. After the soup, the other 2 dishes took another 5 to 10 minutes to be served. They were both pretty good- much better than the soup. The pad see ew and the beef were both very flavorful. However, the beef was a bit too charred and the flavor felt too strong as I ate more of it. The portions are also very small for the price. If I had a bigger appetite or ate with people with bigger appetites, 3 dishes would definitely not be enough. As for the service and enivornment, the servers were fast and friendly but it is very loud inside that I can barely have a conversation. Overall, the food wasn't bad and felt like authentic thai food. My favorite would be the pad thai see ew and I would like to try the other pad thai, fried rices, and meat dishes. I can see why the restaurant gets so busy. The portions are just disappointing though.

Bomb Thai food! They do not disappoint.

I tried to give this place a second try. Two weeks ago I came with a friend and once we told the server our water cups were dirty, she gave us an attitude. Today I came in and 5 minutes before opening, they allowed a fat Caucasian man to come in and wait for his party. So I knocked on the door at 1130am because I had to use the restroom. I was verbally attacked by the Caucasian man and a KAREN ( Caucasian LADY) CAME IN AND STARTED ATTACKING ME. They are racist here and only want to serve Caucasian and Asian people. I will never refer anyone to this restaurant!!!!

Well we came here because of all the good reviews. We ordered three dishes: the seafood in Tom yum soup is not fresh, especially the calamari which is very fishy. Pad Thai is too sugary. Green curry is ok. The place is quite loud.

This place can be a little hard to find because it's tucked in in a non-descript area but no problem when you know it's there. Decent amount of parking. There are usually a lot of people there. The service is superior. We had no trouble getting all of our questions answered about the menu items. They were generous with the water even leaving a full pitcher on the table. They offered both chopsticks and forks. The portions are absolutely massive. They not only brought you containers to take out food if you had leftovers but also a bag to put the boxes in. The food came out very clearly freshly cooked using fresh ingredients. Vegetables were all well done but not overcooked. Everything seemed clean and the decorations were lovely. I had only one complaint and honestly it's not the restaurants fault but for some reason a large family decided that it was okay to have their child watching a tablet at the table turned all the way up. So literally the entire restaurant had to listen to this little girls program that she was watching. Eventually it was turned off but I wish the staff had gone over immediately and asked them to stop. Anyway highly recommended would definitely go back.

One of my favorite thai food, all dish were on the point and the environment is also very thai style, staff were nice and attentive, we celebrated our birthday there, the staffs sang a birthday song with us! also prepare some palte and utensils for us.
The place is always crowd, so better get there earlier or might wait for up to 30 mins.

Pad Thai and pad see ew are authentic flavor. Green curry is tasty and the chicken in which is tender. Spicy soft shell crab is awesome. Skin is crispy and the meat in there is soft and tender. Egg roll is authentic Thai flavor. Seafood soup is full of seafood. And the pot is special with flaming fire. Steamed fish is very fresh and tender. Service is great. Overall, the experience is nice.

Bad Customer Service (45 mins wait for food) and low food quality.

I normally don't write a review unless it is excellent or very bad.

I came to the restaurant at 4pm on Sunday 7/9/23 and the capacity was 40%. There are lot of waiters but they left me to sit on my table for 15 mins without asking anything (They have passed me so many times) until I waved them and asked if I could order.

Then I had to waiter 30 mins and the food did not come. I had to stand up to ask the waiter if I could have my food or I would leave.

I ordered Squid salad and a bowl of rice. The squid came with a super bitter unsusual taste like you eat a rubber band. I notified to the waiter, he offered to make a new dish but i do not want to wait 30 mins again for a simple dish. So I paid and left. Stil, they charged me at full price without an apology.

This is a horrible experience. You only have 40% full and you have to let the customers wait for 45 mins for food? And the food was not right, then you should offer an apology or discount because the customer didn't even eat the food.

Very beautiful environment in the waiters were very attentive. The food was delicious and their desserts are great. The only thing I would change is their water pitchers instead of being plastic should be glass. A very minute point.
