I don’t know what happened to this place but my experience this time was awful. Went for Valentine’s Day last year and had a wonderful experience. This time however was not the same. They had a “special menu” limiting the options of sushi to eat, this was not a thing last time I went. You could only order sushi off the Valentines menu. The Valentines menu seemed like a good deal. It promised “4 courses” at $45. I was not told these “courses” were not enough for two people let alone a single person. The serving sizes were so small it was like eating off the kids menu. The food was mediocre. The total cost was $66 dollars for a tiny bowl of soup, two dumplings, one sushi roll, and a slice of cake. They added a mandatory 20% gratuity tip as well. I wanted to have a nice dinner and was extremely disappointed and felt scammed out of my money.

I love the food!! These were only some of the appetizers we ordered in the pictures. The papaya salad, pad Thai, pad see ew, ramen, sushi set A, a glass noodle appetizer, and sweet and sour beef were all very delicious. It is rare to find a restaurant where every dish was made so well. However, the service was terrible. After dropping off our entrees, we never saw our server again. We really wanted to order deserts and made many attempts to flag someone down. My dad had to walk up to the bar to ask to see if someone can please stop by our table. We were so upset at this point that we just paid and left without ordering deserts. It was my mother’s birthday and we were so disappointed to have that ending to dinner.

Loved our dinner of Pad Thai w/Shrimp and Fried Rice w/Chicken. Fresh ingredients make all the difference in dishes here - we could tell! Staff attentive and friendly and the live music enhanced our dinner. The atmosphere perfect! Sapporo on draft a treat with dinner. A variety of amazing choices to choose from. Perfect for all ages with kids menu too. Highest recommendation given.

Another successful take out order. I changed my order from the usual Red Curry to Thai Basil Fried Rice and it was really tasty. My wife had her usual Massaman Curry with a side of the French fries which are seasoned well and crispy.
The great thing about this place is picking your spice level. I normally go for three.

Urban Thai was closing early for today for July 3rd dinner around after 12:44pm so my wife and I had to go somewhere else and she usually finds good places! So here we are VERY SKEPTICAL because we are super picky food eaters lol
We specifically only had enough time for lunch menu because we have to work still during business hours.
I was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY by their dishes.
So far today I had PAD SEE EW and My wife had Yellow curry. Both came with super fresh crispy salad with ginger dressing and an egg roll (spring roll crispy).
We had level 1 spicy which was super perfect for a small kick while eating but not enough to make you cough and enjoy!
THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST PAD SEE EW IN HOUSTON AND GREATER HOUSTON AREA HANDS DOWN SLAP YO MOMMA AND DADDY GOOD!
It was light and filling! Nothing overly seasoned!!

Came into the restaurant nobody greeted me. They didn’t even pay attention to me that I was standing there. Three people walk in and I get no service but they serviced everyone else. I guess colors still matters in America.

What a wonderful nieghborhood gem. Wonderful people with warm friendly service and great food. I am super partial to the spicy miso Ramen but we have never been disappointed here my wife always orders sushi or a salad and is always happy.

You better watch these crooks. We had a table of 4 adults and one, 14 year old girl (5 total). Our tab was $225 with wine. When we asked for the check, they brought it and never told us that they had already added an 18% gratuity for a "Large Party". I didn't realize 2 couples and a 14 year old kid was considered a large party. I was paying the bill, not really paying attention because we were drinking and it was dark, and was about to tip 20%, I had my wife look at the bill. That's when she told me they had already added gratuity. We couldn't believe that the server never mentioned gratuity was already included. They must have a pretty good scam going adding gratuity and never saying anything to their guests so they can add 20% more tip!. There are hundreds of restaurants in the Katy area so this is one where we will NEVER go back. Buyer beware!!!

Totally disappointed with chicken Ramen

Don’t let the long name fool you. Everything is good on the menu and if you love sushi get the astro roll. Only place that actually serves their sushi properly cold.

Exceptional service and food! We moved from Seattle and have been missing fresh, delicious sushi. We’ve tried so many spots in Katy that were just not great. But THIS spot… holy moly. Delicious, fresh, cold sushi made with so much heart and skill. Servando is an incredible chef and is so friendly. The Astros roll is out of this world. We will not go anywhere else for sushi now. We are planning on coming for our anniversary dinner next month because we love this spot so much. The bartender is also very charismatic and fun. So glad we found this gem!!

Says online they close at 9:30PM. Went at 8:45 and they said it was closed and the kitchen was no longer open.

We have been to the Spring Green location several times and noticed this Westheimer location by fluke. We decided to dine in one afternoon (weekend). We ordered our usual regular items that we usually get at the Spring Green location as it's the exact same menu items.

While the appetizers were great (exactly like the SG location), the Thai curries were definitely not. We ordered a green curry and a red curry. Both curries were watered down with zero taste. We had to add soy sauce and salt so that we could eat it. We did pass this feedback back to our server who said she would take the feedback back to the kitchen.

Service was great and atmosphere was better than the SG location. If the curries had been better, more creamier rather than watered down, it would have made a full 5 star experience.

Ordered pickup online at 7:52. The website said it would be ready by 8:10. I got there around 8:15 and there were about 8 or so people waiting for pickup. There weren't too many seated in dining. I was told 10 mins. I didn't get the food until 8:40ish. Everyone waiting was getting very impatient. The only saving grace was the young lady apologizing profusely.
I finally got home and there were some problems. The spicy level offered is 0-10 I believe. My wife ordered her chicken dish at 1. I ordered my udon at 4. Her dish was at least 3x more spicier than mine. She couldn't eat it. The fried rice we ordered was super dry. My udon was decent but the bowl was only filled about 1/2 way compared to the other dishes. I had to order from another place just so my family got enough to eat.

I use to come here often. I went in today and was told I could no longer sit at booths because I have children. This place is not family friendly. Although owner said all booths were reserved, this is not true. They have a policy of no kids are allowed to sit at booths.

This is the very BEST sushi venue in the area!
Ask for Nicholas (JD Vance look-a-like)—first-rate service! My daughter loved the magic tricks, edible orchids and kid trainable chopsticks! Everything was delicious and the whole experience was thoughtful and appreciated. We will be back! ♥️

This used to be our favorite go-to spot. However, something has changed here in the past year or so. They keep minimum staff who don’t come around often. The ramen seems to have gone down in quality. Noodles seem undercooked and lack of flavor. We’ve ordered through DoorDash and ate in person several times but that doesn’t make a difference.

The food here is great and Nick the bartender was very helpful and kind helping with our order…. Great experience always!!!

My family and I frequent this restaurant once a week. We absolutely love the food and every time we have dined in we have received fabulous service. Today we ordered pickup through grub hub. My order was supposed to be ready at 1:20-1:30pm. I arrive in this time frame and they tell me they can’t find my order in their system so I show them the order and they say to come back in 15 minutes. I come back to the restaurant at 1:50pm (20 minutes from the original time) and when I arrive they tell me oh just a few more minutes. Okay not a problem. I then wait until 2:07pm before receiving my food. Upon receiving my food the MANAGER tells me that my food is unpaid however I have a paid receipt on my email and even show my bank statement with the charge pending on my end. The manager then tells me “I don’t know what to tell you but it’s not paid for” after I showed her that it was in fact paid for. The manager finally agrees to write down the information that it was paid via Apple Pay and then tells me if I want chili mayo and eel sauce I need to pay separately 1.00 for eel sauce and an additional 2.00 for chili mayo. I came to the restaurant without my wallet assuming to just pick up my order that was prepaid. I understand products cost money but after losing my order, waiting an additional 40 minutes from the original time for it to be picked up the manager isn’t willing to give me ONE SIDE of eel sauce or chili mayo on the house for my inconvenience of driving to your restaurant twice and for YOUR restaurant losing my order?!? When I asked her this she just shrugged her shoulders at me and told me it costs a dollar. I’m so disappointed in the customer service! Especially to customers that frequented your restaurant once a week!

We have been going to this place for a few years now and love the food. We’ve gotten to know the owner and all of the others working there. Great folks, but the prices have skyrocketed to the point that we won’t be going back. It’s sad because we really like the place but our bill this afternoon was crazy for half the food that we normally order. They no longer have house wines…and the wines that took their place are very expensive for the quality. Very sad.

Food does not taste authentic. Papaya salad is very soggy and lacks the citrus traditional taste. Tom yum soup lacks flavor and spice. sadly, they do not go above level 5 of spice. If you have eaten real Thai or Laos food, you would know the taste and spice level is night and day different from this restaurant. The food here tastes very fusion, which, I personally, don’t like whatsoever.

Their spice level still hasn’t changed. And their food has gotten worst. The papaya salad Thai style was missing the like taste and it was very soggy. On top of when I called in to place a Togo order, I asked for it to be spicier than level 5, and they told me that they refuse to do it and would offer chili on the side. Which, did nothing. The Thai peppers I got from H-Mart were more spicy than their dishes, and their “chilies” that they gave us for their papaya salad and Tom Yum soup. Disappointing really. Would not be coming back here again.

I really wished their food was as spicy as they claimed. Offering a spice level of 1 to 5, and then constantly asking them to make it 3 times as spicy as their level 5, and then to be disappointed with what always taste extremely mild is shameful. The food is good, but the spice level for Thai food is borderline embarrassing.

This place is exceptional. I’m so excited to say the panang curry is perfect. It’s the best Thai restaurant. I will order from here every time. Seriously delicious and so happy we have a Thai place that doesn’t suck! Love It!!!

This newly opened place is a stand out in this dreadful business strip. The dining experience and atmosphere are boring to say the least. Any way, the crab fried rice is excellent which goes nicely with the chicken Panang curry. My wife and I really enjoyed it. My wife ordered pad thai the last time here which was also good. I thought the chef uses real tamarind which is the real ingredient for this dish. This place is on the expensive side.

Horrendous Thai food in Katy. Ordered foodwith level 5 spicy. Food tastes sweet and flavor less. Pad Thai is like hot water and noodles. Supposed to get a call back from manager. There are better Thai restaurants in Katy than this restaurant.

Disappointing. Tried for the 1st time. This place had a faint sewage and mold smell. The California Roll we ordered as an appetizer wasn't fresh, and the avocado inside had browned and soured. Some of the wait staff were nice. Some were just trying to get us to spend more. At least the Raman broth was decent, made with miso. The green curry tasted okay, but my stomach wasn't happy afterward. I can get better Raman without the sewage stench for half the price. Will not be returning.

Best sushi in Houston/Katy!!! Authentic Japanese sushi, high quality rice, fish & fresh vegetables. Great prices, great happy hour deals! Quick & nice service, nice atmosphere. I can’t say enough good things. You have to eat here!

The pad thai shrimp was delicious, as well as the chicken wonton ramen. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We are already planning our next visit to try the sushi and a curry dish. We also got a tour of the banquet rooms. The authentic decor and special touches are quite stunning.

This restaurant can't decide what it wants to be. It's Thai food. It's sushi. It's ramen. It's Chinese food. It's Pho. It's a karaoke bar. It's way too many things and doesn't do any of them particularly well.

It's always a bad sign when people walk in, take a look around and go right back out the door before sitting down.

Ordered food for take out, asked for Spice Level 4 and 5's, but they just gave level 1 and marked the containers as 4 and 5. So the food tasted like baby food without any species and flavors. And the Cost of food really expensive $60 for 3 dishes.

This is my favorite place! Melissa outdoes all other chefs...authentic Thai food, spicy and delicious. Servando is the best sushi chef...the sushi is always fresh and he comes up with new dishes all the time! This place has incredible food. It has a huge selection, and it is truly gourmet quality. I got a Curry bowl with brown rice, which is very unique, and it's the best thing I have tasted in about a year. It was so good I made my wife go back again the next day and ate the same thing. We sat outside with our dog although the interior is very warm and welcoming. It's a pretty good looking crowd too. The staff is super friendly and attentive, but not annoying. The place isn't that big inside, although beautifully decorated, so for selfish reasons I hope it doesn't get too too popular. The owner came by our table and we found out that he's going to try to fence in the front sidewalks on the West and South sides, and on the backside he's also going to a have a whole fenced section for outdoor dining. Absolutely one of our favorite spots on the whole West side of town now and you'll be seeing us there often.

I had Tom Yum soup with noodles. It was pretty good, but there were too many noodles. The waitress suggested that I get the noodles on the side next time. That's what I'm going to do. The lamb chop appetizer was just okay. The Thai tea was awesome, and so was the service. I'll be back.

I was invited by my friends to attend a live concert, and try their specialty Teriyaki bowl! I can say with Great Confidence that their Teriyaki beef is on the top of the charts!!! Absolutely Hands Down the Very Best Beef Teriyaki I have ever consumed! The flavor is all in the beef and rice!!! I've tried many Asian restaurants, and I mean soo many across Houston and Dallas combined!!! I can say with FULL CONFIDENCE that Thai Cuisine & Ramen King held itself to The Highest Standards when making this dish! It was absolute perfection all around. The owner is super cool and took my order down to a T! I'll for sure come back again and again!!!

I was here with a group today and we reserved a private room and the reservation was not taken correctly by the staff, so we had to sit at a table. Then once we had to checkout and pay, we were given the option of using the QR code on our ticket to pay. I scanned the QR code and proceeded to put in my card information to pay. I clicked submit and an error message pops up saying “You cannot pay at this time as your payment amount has changed .” I submitted it again and the same error message pops up. I look into my checking account and I see the charge is showing. The waiter, Sergio, had his nerve to say “Well we don’t see it coming out on our end. But you can call your bank if it double charges you and they can refund the additional charge. But you would need to close out your ticket.” I told him that it is your faulty QR code system that is the issue and I should not have to call my bank to cancel any additional charges. I asked to speak to his manager and he gives me the run around. I will not be dining here ever again. This kind of customer service is not acceptable.

Went in the afternoon. Super relaxing setting. Food was so delicious!

Well if you do decide to visit make sure it is not on a holiday like Valentines day. They will have you make a reservation and then have you wait almost an hour without attending you. We waited for almost an hour and not even a glass of water was offered. We got tired of waiting and decided to leave. What is the point of having people make reservations if you are not going to plan accordingly and have enough employees to accommodate the reservations. We were not the only ones who decided to walk out today either.

My first visit here was a dine in and I rated a 5 for food and service. My second visit was last night and a take out and the reason for’ my 2. So disappointed especially since I had friends at the house. We had multiple appetizers and only received a very small personal dipping sauce. Had 4 entries and had so little rice that we ran out The S&S chicken was just plain tough chicken with a bunch of veggies with a sauce that had not the slightest resemblance to S&S. The flat noodles were ok but paired with a tasteless pork. The best food was the red curry with chicken. I don’t know what to say but just very disappointed.

First time visiting and this place is very close to my home. Food was great! I think staff was a little overwhelmed with large tables coming in. Waiter wasn’t very attentive (probably because of the large tables) however, there were two other people who came to our table several times to check on us. Still a great experience and I still tipped the waiter 20%! He deserved it.

Amazing Food!!!! The service was great and very fast. So many options to choose from but ended up going with the Tonkotsu Ramen and boy was it delicious! The broth was smooth and rich, the pork was tender and flavorful, and the noodles were perfect! I ended up ordering another bowl to go so I could have some tomorrow 🤣. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing and very nice. Overall a great experience and cool spot to hit up. I 100% recommend!

I am not one to normally be so rough on a review, but this is a skip... for me. The workers we met were very nice people. The service was a little overboard with fake niceness.

There was a sushi chef and a bar worker loudly speaking and laughing with some customers that seemed to be cursing every other word. Now, I am from TX, so I can curse with the best of them... this, however, was very loud and inappropriate for a family restaurant at 7pm in the middle of the week.

The food was not good. The chicken tasted rancid and the calamari was huge cold and rubbery. The sushi seemed like it was made earlier in the day and just refrigerated. It stuck to the plate and other pieces, which is what indicated that.

The prices were average.

There may be people out their that like this place and the food... that is ok by me... to each their own. This is just one man and his family's experience.

Omg…I just barely found this place but it’s a gem. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is so calm and serene. Love the music! My waitress was super attentive and very helpful. I totally recommend coming to eat here! You will love it. 😍

Kids loved their food.

We tried TCRK&SB for the first time and was absolutely wonderful. The appetizers and the entrees were all delicious. We had the Crispy Spring rolls and the Thai dumplings. We also had the Tom kha kai soup with shrimp, Massaman curry with chicken, basil delight with chile paste with beef, and the Pad Thai with chicken.

Loved our dinner of Pad Thai w/Shrimp and Fried Rice w/Chicken. Fresh ingredients make all the difference in dishes here - we could tell! Staff attentive and friendly and the live music enhanced our dinner. The atmosphere perfect! Sapporo on draft a treat with dinner. A variety of amazing choices to choose from. Perfect for all ages with kids menu too. Highest recommendation given.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai Cuisine, and it was truly an exceptional experience.

Sushi and sashimi boat set quality is terrible. Boat looks nice and that is about it. You get better sushi from HEB. Fish is not fresh. The rice is very mushy. Wasabi is very low quality. Not impress at all. Service is good.

I am a picture person but this time, our experience was all based on the amazing staff! Ms. Lee, Mr. George, Santi, Paige, Chef Melissa...just wow!! For a late afternoon on a Sunday and being short staffed, they knocked it out of the park!!! Drinks kept flowing, apps still came out early and our meal came out perfect! All of us ordrered different things... soup, apps, entrees, sushi, salad and everyone left happy! This is our go to neighborhood spot!!!

I love its atmosphere. Very attentive staff and friendly. It's a little pricey but expected during recession. The deep fried tilapia was good and came with a lot of salad on the plate. If I had $$$, I'd turn it into an English Pub. Great atmosphere.

First time here so I got 3 different dishes, Spicy Chicken Ramen, the Terriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl, and the House Roll.

-Spicy Chicken Ramen: Rating 4.5/5 Whew this was spicy! Not burn your mouth and numb your tongue spicy, but spicy enough to feel a kick w/ every bite. The noodles and toppings absorb some of the spicyness and make for the perfect spice level (For reference I'm from Louisiana lol) The broth was hands down the best I've had thus far, and I've visited over 20 ramen places in the area. It was flavorful, spicy, and just delicious. I could drink it by itself, it was that good. The toppings were generous and my only complaint is the chicken was overcooked. I didn't put it in the broth for fear that it might become too tough to chew. All in all I would order this again.

- House Roll: 4/5 Really good, perfectly fried, came w/ ample dipping sauce.

-Chicken Teriyaki: 4.5/5 Good portion of veggies that were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I typically toss half of the veggies when I order this dish from other places but I ate every morsel. The rice was cooked perfectly and the Teriyaki sauce was delicious. My only complaint is the chicken was also overcooked.

All in all I would return to this restaurant and I would order all 3 of the dishes I had again. The only thing that kept me from giving them 5 stars is the overcooked chicken in both dishes. Hoping next time I don't have that issue.

I have to follow a gluten free diet and Melissa does an amazing job making something for me that is delicious and doesn't cause me health issues. It is hard to find a good restaurant that works with my allergies. We lOVE this place! We bring many of our friends to this restaurant and everyone have loved their experience. Thank you Melissa and Jorge for giving us a great place to visit.

The acoustics of the place are terrible (and were terrible in the previous restaurant in this location). Really - get some acoustic tiles or something, it’s an awful, noisy experience made worse with the Friday night “music”

We went to Thailand 6 months ago and were craving Thai food, so we came for lunch. We got Tom Kha, red curry, and Thai dumplings. Everything was so good and tasted just like it did in Thailand. I'd ask for the chili oil if you like it spicier. Overall the food and service were great, we will be back!!!

This was my first time ever having Thai food. I was not sure what to expect. I ordered a delicious entrée, but unfortunately, didn't realize it had bell peppers in it and I cannot eat them, they make me feel so sick, so I am always careful to check the menu (if they were listed on the menu, I missed it); when my food came out, it had beautiful, colorful peppers. I asked if I could reorder, and they immediately took away my dish and remade it without any peppers. It was wonderful! They were so gracious and never made me feel like a dummy because I failed to check. I appreciate that very much. I will go back and ask more questions next time! I definitely recommend Thai Cuisine Ramen King.

Today I ordered the spicy miso ramen.This is the third time I have visited and first time getting ramen at this business.
The noodles taste like Shin instant ramen. they are not house made, nor are they fresh. The pork Chasu is lunch meat. The broth is extremely underwhelming. The egg is overcooked. there is no kurage which this dish desperately needs. the fish cake was honest to goodness better than any other part of this dish. the spicy level is 2/10.

I recently went here at the recommendation of a friend. We are exploring Katy restaurants with the intent to find a good place to meet up regularly. They had multiple party rooms of different capacity and we were able to utilize their smaller private area.

The atmosphere was beautiful and unique. Their staff was attentive and courteous to our groups needs which included being able to do tabletop gaming at the location.

We tried meals from the multiple sections of their menu and enjoyed every one of them. My friend had sashimi that had a beautiful presentation and my spicy chicken ramen had plenty of spice and was exactly what I was looking for. Their bar had a good selection of liquor but I recommend they make a unique drink menu because their current selection is standard fare. I did the old fashioned test and got at least one of the drinks with a nice block of ice and both had a good flavor.

I would definitely recommend this place for Asian cuisine lovers and big parties!

Honestly the best ramen I've ever had, I'm coming back to try the sushi and dessert!

This place is my absolute favorite restaurant. I am obsessed with the Pad Kee Mao with beef (no egg). there are ZERO complaints about the service, food, cleanliness and setting everything is perfect. I have recommended it to everyone I know and have brought many friends and family to try it out and they have all been impressed. Some other things that I have tried and that are delicious are the cheese rolls, Panang curry with chicken, yellow curry with chicken, spicy edamame, vegetable tempura, basil fried rice and the mango milk tea with popping mango jellies. I was not disappointed by anything.
