We had the best food tonight Thai Valley Kitchen at Hurricane. Great service, reasonable prices, but most importantly, top quality. Forgot to take pictures of the appetizers; they vanished too quickly! Chicken Satay with a peanut sauce and cucumber vinegar and some edamame (you can see how fast they vanished before I thought to take a photo). Spouse ordered the Chicken Rama which was great (sat on a bed of cabbage with broccoli and other veggies) and I had the ginger stir fry with shrimp. Shrimp was well cleaned and cooked just right. We will be back! You can see how much we left on the plates lol.

We had a great experience here! We came for a late dinner on Thursday night while driving through, with a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old. Everyone was so polite and welcoming. The food was delicious, well-portioned, and came out very quickly. We had the corn fritters, the kids fried rice, the kids sweet and sour, the red curry (which was SO good), and the pad woon sen.

There's a good amount of seating and the dining area is split into two areas (there's another section of seating to the left), which helps cut down on noise. Would highly recommend!

I drive 3 hours just to eat here every 1-2 month with my dad! The food is very authentic! If you've tried Thai food and haven't liked it before try this place before you make up your mind! There are other Thai restaurants closer to my home but none of them are near as good as here!
Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Pho is my recommendations! (The Pad Thai is my favorite). The staff is very friendly and very good about checking in on us! My dad and I typically get the Pho to split and I get the Pad Thai and Fried Rice so I can bring some left overs home with me as well as ordering more food for the next couple of days! (It's a long drive back when you are full haha) The mango sticky rice is a very good end to a meal if it is in season! It's an authentic Thai dessert that is very different from your normal dessert! 10/10

Food was good price,three of us had 3 main dishes(Tiger eye-steak- strongly recommended--medium rare !), a soup, satay, pork dumping,hot wings, a glass of wine ,total was less than $100(included 20% tip) staff was friendly, all food was good but bit salty.

Food was really great! What a treat, especially in this area where I am not finding many really good restaurants. My only complaint is hey need to get takeout menus, so I could order from home and circle what I like! I could show the menu when we are all ordering take out.

The food is usually really good, although some days, it lacks flavor. I guess it depends on who is in the kitchen. Oddly, they have the best pho in the area. None of the Vietnamese restaurants in our area have pho nearly as good.

We are regulars here! The staff know us by name and even know what our usual order is. However, they are always excited to recommend something new and more traditional if you ask. We have never had a bad experience here and we've eaten with them since they first opened. If you love traditional Thai food, fresh ingredients, and friendly faces then you must come in and try!

Not too bad a place I really don't like Thai food but my husband loves it. Service wasn't great. Only 2 other guests in the building and it took forever to get drinks and appetizers 😔. Maybe it was just me but the Hostess didn't seem to like me very much even though I hadn't even gotten to speak with her she pretty much ignored me and only talked to my husband. My man doesn't have to speak for me 🤣 trust me I'm capable enough to speak for myself ❤️

The food and service here is flawless, after eating here for five years I have NEVER had a bad dish nor negative experience, I've eaten Asian food from California to N.Y.C., and this restaurant is easily just as delicious.

I eat here for lunch almost every week and love this restaurant. The basil chicken is so good that it was the only thing I ordered the first few months I ate here. Eventually the server talked me into trying some of the other menu items and she hasn't steered me wrong yet.

Love love love their fresh food choices! Great cashew chicken dish...awesome rama (their peanut sauce is AMAZING!) My hubby is vegetarian, and he gets tofu instead of chicken in his entrees. Very good!

This place is truly is a hidden gem. I had been to a lot of Thai food restaurants across the country, hands down this place is one of the good ones. I ordered glass noodles, drunken noodles, Larb with chicken, chicken wings and Basil chicken. If you like spicy like I do you’ll love this place, their chili oil is Hot and when you asked for spicy they delivered. The food is delicious and portion is pretty big, the price is reasonable. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is small but clean. Me and my husband definitely will comeback next time we are in this area.

Surprisingly flavorful. Quick service and hot food. My wife and I ordered significantly different dishes, they each highlighted the flavors they claimed to portray. All too often menus allege such and such ingredients, but the food all tastes the same more or less. Not here, worth checking out.

Very good food, but make a point to tell them if you want it spicy. They see "farangs" and put away the chiles. Pleasant, friendly staff.

Always love the food here. The Tom Yum soup and the pad Thai are always a favorite. My boyfriend and I always finish it off with the Fried Banana Ice Cream dessert.

Great place for Thai food! I get mostly takeout from Thai Valley but occasionally dine in. It is clean on the inside but not a lot of room. Probably the best Thai restaurant in the area if not one of the best ones around period as far as service and quality of food. The food is authentic, great tasting and filling. The service is as good as the food and the price is on par with what you would expect.

Thai Food, and it's very good. I haven't traveled much but it seems authentic. I like the Crab Rangoon so much. Pad Thai is good, but I have only found it in a couple of other places I've been. Very exotic in selection, and rhey even have cocktails. I have tried almost all the other dishes too, and they are consistently good. Dine in or carry out. Very large portions. Finally, I've never had a bad meal at Thai Valley Kitchen. Writing about it reminds me I need to go back soon! 😁😁😁

Very good food. I ordered something like volcano beef (forget the full name) but it was delicious. Well worth the money. I travel all week every week, in state, out of state. And this was a first time thai place for me. And I loved the food. The beef was tender the juice/broth was delicious. I would order again if only I could. Id recommend for first timers.

I am Thai and this is the Best Thai in the Valley. Pad Thai, Drunken noodles, basil beef are my favs! The Staff is very nice.

For the area it was a very good place to eat. We've been to many Thai restaurants around the coutnry so we know its not all going to be the same. It did taste good. I did ask for spicy edemame but all she said is no. I guess she didn't know how to recommend to add to it or exchange an appetizers. But other than that we love our drunken noodle, fried rice and the salmon was good too

Certainly a hidden gem within the valley (and between the Huntington-Charleston metro area), Thai Valley Kitchen brings an fresh ingredients together for an exotic taste and a dash of class. Their staff is friendly, their dining area is relaxed yet professional and the food is amazing. Their drink menu is very impressive, and I plan to try some of the options next time.Thai Valley Kitchen has yet to disappoint. Prices are a little steep - though not for the quality and quantity of the helpings. A little planning of pocket for a special evening could go a long way! Definitely a great date night opportunity or business meeting option that will leave a lasting impression. 10/10 Worth a try!

I used to love eating Thai Valley Kitchen. Everything was delicious and had the correct amount of heat and was always made in generous portions. Every time I picked up my food, I would compliment the staff on such a great job. I’d tell anyone I knew how great this place was.
After tonight I probably won’t ever order from here again. My order of green curry was not only HALF FULL, but was so spicy it made feel sick, which is never an experience I’ve had with that particular dish. So sad that after so many great years of eating here the experience is ruined.

Usually, our experiences here have been good, however, this instance was not. We got seated right away, but then waited nearly 45 minutes before a waitress came to get our order. Once the order was in, it took another 20 minutes to get our appetizer. And the food came out maybe 15 minutes after. The whole experience was 2 hours from sit to check.
I have a few suggestions for the owners of the Thai Valley Restaurant to make this place run a little better.
It was the day before a major holiday (Feb 14th) and there were only two wait staff. They were doing everything from running food and taking orders and drinks, to putting together pickup orders and taking phone calls. You definitely need to have more staff there during bigger holidays like that. Have someone dedicated for takeout and another helping take orders or just doing drinks and running food. I believe our waiter was on break when we got there because we did not see her until the 30 minute mark. There should have been someone filling in for her, or just not seat anyone on that side until she was back.
This was by far the worst experience I've had at Thai Valley.
I'm giving two stars for two reasons.
1. I know they can do better with time management and staffing if they hire more people.
2. The food was hot and delicious.
