Started with a complementary hot and sour soup. It was really good. Had a little spice to it. I'd prefer a little spicier but I think it's a good level for the everyday person.

Main course was Pineapple Fried Rice. Order level 5 spice again not enough spice for me personally but I believe it was good for normal people. Chicken was not very seasoned for did not take away from the dish as the rest of the flavors paired well. Had a perfect veggie to rice ratio as well. They did bring 3 options to add spice for my crazy liking. Didn't reach the desired level but I don't fault them for it as I'm sure I killed my tongue years ago.

The restaurant is smaller but nice setup with enjoyable music. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Azher waited on me today and again can't say enough about the experience. Will be coming back.

I had a disappointing experience at Noodle Wave that I feel compelled to share. During my recent visit, I discovered a fly in my food, and disturbingly, it appeared to have been fried along with the dish. This was not only disgusting but also raised serious concerns about the restaurant's overall hygiene and food safety practices.

The sight of the fly completely ruined my appetite and left me feeling uneasy about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Such a lapse in hygiene is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment. I am deeply disappointed and would strongly advise others to avoid Noodle Wave until they address these serious issues.

We had an excellent experience at Noodle Wave McKinney. I highly recommend the steamed dumplings. They were the perfect blend of sweet and spicy and came steaming hot as well. Their thigh red curry and thai noodle soup were also very delicious and a good size for two people to share. The spice level was perfect as well. The food came within 15 mins, which is very impressive for a halal restaurant and it came at the correct temperature too.
We've been to the Plano location a few years back and never went back cuz of the level of service. But this experience has totally changed that! The staff was very friendly and very very attentive. We were asked about our comfort and food several times in a very nice way.
My husband and I recommend Noodle Wave McKinney a 100% to all thai/Asian lovers.

We ordered doordash today, and this is the blandest tasting thai food I think I ever tasted. Unflavored, pretty meh, and feel like everything was frozen food put in an oven. Really don't understand the good reviews, I suggest you skip this one.

Just went there today for the first time. The place is really charming and I love the size. My tummy was a little upset and I wasn't sure what I wanted to try. The staff was very patient as I set an ate the house soup, which was delicious by the way, and decided what to order.

I got the summer rolls with shrimp and that sauce was amazing. They were also very very fresh which is nice to see. I also got Vietnamese noodle soup which was perfect for my tummy. Highly recommend and will definitely go again

The food is good, if you don't mind flies flying around. The waiters are very friendly. A few weeks ago, a waiter was cleaning a table right next to ours and he sprayed the chemical right on to the table instead of first spraying it on the rag and then cleaning the table with it. The smell of the chemical was also very irritating to my nasal passage and made me sick. We pointed this out to him and then we politely requested the manager/owner to train his employees not to spray the chemical while people are eating so close by since the fumes fly around and can land on your food very easily. Also we requested to use a fragrance free cleaner since so many people these days are allergic to such smells. The owner listened and thanked us for the input. But the exact same thing happened again today. The same smelly chemical is still being used and being sprayed directly on the table next to where you are eating. So, if you like to eat your food with a Windex like smell, go ahead. But I wonder why businesses don't pay any attention to the customer's complaints. Maybe because they are making loads of money with people queuing up to get in to the restaurant. They don't bother whether someone gets sick with the chemical they are spraying around or gets sick with flies in the food.

I am a noodle wave regular. I’ve seen this restaurant grow in front of my own eyes. So when I go and try A Noodle Wave rests I immediately expect the food to be the delicious flavorful food that they have always maintained. Unfortunately, the McKinney location is basically a knock off Noodle wave. The food that we’ve always had me and my husband was awful and so bland. They need to make sure to give their chefs a proper training to uphold the reputation from other locations.

Its nice small restaurant, taste is good. You get peanut soup as a compliment, which not many thai restaurants do. We ordered vegetable spring noodles, green curry with tofu and extra rice. Curry was creamy and tasty. Would like quanties to be little better. Other than that every thing tasted good.

We were in the area, and it was pretty close to the McKinney ISD stadium. Now I LOVE a good pad thai and THIS PLACE. AMAZING. it has to be ranked pretty high for my taste. Not only was the food amazing, but the thai tea was also fantastic. Last but certainly not least, the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Very clean, friendly, and inviting to all. The decor was perfect and even in the bathroom it was nice. Of all the places! 😅 I would definitely recommend it, and if I'm in the area, I will definitely be back!

Visited this place today, first thing what i noticed was it was almost full on a Wednesday night, which is a good sign..

We ordered chk dumpling and herbal chicken fried rice. The quantity of the food is less, food is pricey.. flavor was good, fried rice was good but had too many curry leaves which overtook the flavor completely.

Will definitely give one more try.. but for now its 3 stars from me..

We went here to kill time while waiting for our car to be serviced next door. The Food was great- kids meals was literally incredible!!! The best deal ever and my four year old loved it! The real star of the show though , was the OUTSTANDING SERVICE they provided!! Top tier !!! Will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

I have been on an Asian food kick of late, and although I have yet to try the Pad Thai here, that dish has definitely become a favorite, at Sticky Rice, Lazy Dog, and Rice Express.
I stopped by for the first time today and ordered the Crispy Chicken Green Curry, spice level 2, and Chicken Egg Rolls. My first green curry, and I found the dish to be very good, and I would get it again. The chicken eggrolls were good.
Online reviews and pictures suggest efforts are being made to elevate the experience, therefore, I am anxious to try again.
The service was good, waiter jokingly asked if I was a Texan when I mentioned spice level 2. He recommended level 5! We laughed and after some deliberation and not knowing what to expect the decision was made to stick to level 2. Turned out to be about right for my taste; level 3 might have been okay as well.
The ambiance and dining room size is good, somewhat comparable to Sticky Rice.

We do pickup orders and my wife makes me drive past at least one good Thai place on the way.

Aside from the drive there, she says the food is worth it and I don’t really mind if this is what is part of the “happy” formula.

I could not WAIT to write a review! I’m still sitting in the restaurant as i’m writing this. I’ve grown accustomed to lazy, non-caring, and badly ran business but this place is far from that. Each employee is very invested and caring of your experience here and ask you how the food is and truly wants you to have a great experience so that alone shows a well running and proper value driven business. As I sat and looked at each one of the waiters they would consult and discuss each food choice with each customer to insure that their experience was great. Now beyond that… the food. I would have licked my bowl if it were publicly acceptable. For spice level i like a good amount of spicy but not too spicy so id recommend the level 3 for the Red Curry was perfect spice level. The place is also very clean! I am now an new fan of this establishment!

Noodle Wave McKinney Is a local staple. The atmosphere is soft, calm, and welcoming. As soon as you walk in the door you feel as though you're being welcomed as family and the service is always quick to please and done with a smile. The initial soup was hearty and flavorful. I was beyond surprised with the Thursday lunch special, The Tung Tac Chicken & Thai Herbal Chicken. Its presentation was meticulous and beautiful without giving up on quality. The rice was cooked perfectly, the main dish was incredibly tasty and filling, and the egg roll was crispy and fresh while sporting a delicious sweet and sour sauce on the side. It was finished off with the Mango ice cream which was a fantastic finish to the symphony I enjoyed. I will continue to come and enjoy it for a very long time.

Really great food and service! I am vegan , so this this is one of my favorite restaurants in McKinney where I can eat gluten free and vegan!

Excellent food, Excellent Service

I had the Mongolian beef and it was sweet more like teriyaki beef I just couldn't eat it. Not too mention the beef was tough. I like this place but I'll stick to the more traditional Thai food. Whatever they used for my Mongolian beef they used for my wife's basil fried rice it was just too sweet.

Great atmosphere!! Felt like being apart of family. Our server Fluke was amazing and I enjoyed the dish that he recommended. I WILL BE COMING BACK REGULARLY!!! 😁😁😁

This place is amazing! Fluke was our waiter and he provided amazing service and was very kind and funny. The Lo Mein Kaow Grilled Beef was delicious. We’ll be back!
