Been coming here many years it’s getting worse. Food was all pale/underseasoned. Gyoza seemed undercooked and floppy. Pad Thai pale and flavorless.

Everything always delicious and the only takeout place my mother trusts. Lol. Great food!

D & Y Kitchen has been around in the Five Towns area for a long time (well over 20 years I believe) and their food has remained consistently delicious and attentively well-prepared and presented.
You can tell when a chef takes pride in his menu, dishes and culinary skills.

It is a friendly, small take-out establishment
with a couple of tables to sit at
while you wait for your food...
but delivery is a reliable option
as well.

My husband & I recently ordered some meals and I can happily say
each dish was a delight!
Nothing disappointed!

The portions are generous & well-priced.
The quality of ingredients is very high.
Most importantly though, each and every menu item we tried was cooked to perfection and put satiated smiles
on our faces!

My husbsnd particularly enjoyed his large, crispy chicken wings and fragrant, peppery, mushroom-abundant hot & sour soup.

I've become addicted to their saucy
spare-rib tips and lobster fried rice!

The perfectly cooked noodle soups are delicious too and brimming with bright, fresh vegetables, thick (I chose udon) rice noodles with good chew and
last, but not least, tender pieces of meat
carefully arranged & placed on top.

Nothing was too salty or under or overly seasoned or spiced.

Oh!
And I tried their substantial steamed
pork dumplings the last time we ordered
and they were fantastic!
Great satisfying chewy texture
to the wrapping with a savory-delicious hidden-treasure dob of pork filling inside.
The dipping sauce on the side had a subtle full-flavored tang to it and quickly became addictive! (Next time, I will definitely request an additional small container)

We look forward to trying new menu offerings each time we order
from D & Y Kitchen.

Best spare ribs of local chinese food take out in the area. Meat, juicy and with sauce. Broccoli with garlic sauce tasty too. Friendly front end rep-cashier. Will go back.

Experience dishes without rice underneath. It will be a more tasty outcome 😋 I enjoyed the rice separate and not underneath the main dish.

Food was horrible.

Good clean and delicious food

Perfect day for a big bowl of soup. Had the Roast Pork and wonton noodle soup. Everything fresh and generous with the wonton, bok choy and Pork!! Very good!

Best Chinese in Hewlett and not expensive. Also have good customer service and the delivery person is very helpful. Thank you for bringing food to my home.

We've been coming here for years and the food is consistently excellent. Every once in a while we try a 'fancier' place but it never compares to the quality and taste at D&Y. We are lucky they are in our neighborhood!

Best onion fried rice I have ever had 😏 add more veggies next time please. But the food was great. Maybe next time even better. Shrimp was fresh my wife loved it.

I have to tell you I have been trying all the local Chinese restaurants since Covid and nothing has been even edible. It’s been pointing and every time I try another so I won’t mention the names but I will say every other from Hewlett Woodmere no not even say to her in with Lawrrnce everything you can think of not even edible.Yesterday I finally found the most wonderful wonderful Chinese food and not only that they were able to speak to me on the phone and fill all my request . Could not have been easier and surprisingly oh that was the distance was further away then most the delivery time was almost half of the others. Forget everything you remember when you’re looking for Chinese delivery you must call D&Y kitchen . Trust me you won’t regret it❤️Enjoy your meal!!!!!

Really amazing Chinese take-out with affordable prices! I paid like $7 for a shrimp lo mein and it came with so much and it was very good. The food also came out very fast. I believe they have free delivery over $10 which I will definitely take advantage of soon and I will be back here! I definitely recommend

This is my favorite take out Chinese food in the area. I have had all. I love the pork off the bone and the general two chicken. The food is crisp and not saturated by the sauce. The service is always quick.

No artificial anything, all natural ingredients. Wor Shu Duck is the bomb! Ask for Sharon and say Happy Valentines Day, she'll know that I recommended you.

Been going here for years - the lunch specials especially Kung pao shrimp are amazing and very reasonably priced

Their food is good, i really appreciate that they obviously use fresh oil for their fried foods, as opposed to similar restaurants that recycle their old oil, etc. Prices are typical of neighborhood Chinese restaurants and they accept credit card as well as cash. But if you plan to eat in.... just know it'll be sweltering in the summer and cold in the winter as they don't have air conditioning/ heating. But still enjoy for take out and delivery

The best Chinese food in the area, having tried nearly every single one close by I always come back to D & Y, fast service and great staff.

New to the neighborhood tried Chen's on Broadway got raw sesame chicken this place is very good the food is always fresh the owners are very nice.

Usually very good 4.5 - 5 start. My order today was very good until I bit into the baby corn. The baby corn tasted pickled as if was rotten. I informed the D & Y and they said they would look at their supply. For the most part, really good food.

Very nice take out Chinese food

D&Y is a very good take out Chinese restaurant. They are also very fast. Food is hot and they have good family value combinations.

Quality food, a little pricier than competition but worth it.

I ordered a lunch special and they deliver ed the food without the extra i requested. The pork fried rice was white and there wasn't even enough pork in it. Service was prompt but other than that I won't be ordering from them again.

I had sworn off Chinese cuisine after two horrendous offerings from other local institutions. D&Y was recommended by a fellow LIRR commuter so I gave them a shot. The food is excellent. The Dumplings (not too doughy) and BBQ Spare Ribs (very meaty) are particularly well done. Highly recommend and they deliver to Valley Stream!

The seafood is always fresh. The service prompt!!!
