An extensive menu of classic Thai dishes in a relaxed setting with modern, moody interior details.
I still can’t stop thinking about this place - one of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The interior is so cute and cozy and the food was so so so delicious.
For appetizer we ordered chicken satay - 10/10
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, it was soft, juicy and so full of flavour - cooked to perfection.
And for the main course we had an order of Crispy trout curry, an order of green curry fried rice with chicken and lastly an order of phad kee mao also with chicken.
And also our server was really sweet :)
5 years, 8 months, 13 days later...Finally found the perfect Thai place. This place brings back great memories of my mom’s cooking. Today, we decided to try:
1. Crying Tiger salad
2. Pad Khee Mao
3. Panang Curry
Flavors were on-point, friendly service and very affordable = five stars in my book.
It was so good, I took a picture of the empty plate 😂. Killed it!
Order of over $150 to go. Person answering phone .... absolutely horrible customer service. Bothered by me, it seemed. ? Food is Good....not excellent. But , expect rough experience....maybe off day for the gal,?
I visited on a weekday for lunch, but where was the service? The server ignored us until I asked about getting a seat, at which point we were simply told to wait. When I inquired about the wait time, I was curtly informed they only had one server. Fine, but why were other guests being assisted with changing their seats while we weren't even seated yet?
The food is fine, but the ordering is really frustrating. More often than not we order online, and then we get a notice that it will be ready in 30 min but it’s never ready. Today we got the first message that it would be ready in 30 min and left our house just to get another notification that it would be an additional 55 min. When I called to discuss my frustration, they said I don’t need to order from there if I can’t wait. Another person said that they don’t typically say that, but my husband was told that they couldn’t refund the order. Overall they refunded it, but we have no food and we drove into maple valley. Just disappointing overall.

Food wasn’t bad.. but beware, checked my credit card statement for last month. And got charged $2 extra dollars. I always write in clear my tip line and total amount. What a shame.. didn’t expect that from this restaurant.
Best Thai in the area
Phad Thai was made with Peanut Butter???
My order sat on the counter for 20 minutes before they served it to me..
Everything was not pleasing at all.
Staff is pathetic to deal with, with commitment of an hour in wait , they charged the card and after 75 min, they are saying that another 30 min or take your money back! Super frustrating! Old management was much better

The portion size for the price is ridiculous you get a quarter of the amount of a full size container. I recommend Grandmas Thai in Kent it’s a little further but they have incredible curry with generous portions
Couldn’t seat us at an hour and a half until close not the first time it’s happened great food horrible service. Either stay open later or hire more people.
Very stale food and rude staff… they will threaten you to pay more tip… avoid this place…
We visit this area every year and Maple Valley Thai is a must have. Food is delicious, consistent, and quick. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Be sure to try the basil fried rice. 👌
We both had cashew chicken, which was quite good. The two servers were nice. The music was not good, but overall, a very clean, nicely decorated place. I would recommend.
Love everything about Maple Valley Thai! It’s a secret gem in the city. Amazing red curry!

Kind staff, long wait for a table, large menu with some harder to find authentic options
The food was good, and our server Kate was the best.
The food tastes amazing, but pricing and portions are ridiculous. I had the cashew chicken and asked to sub the carrots and mushrooms with broccoli. They gave me two pieces the size of a quarter and very little chicken. Dissapointing.
The quality of the food was outstanding; however, the portion sizes were surprisingly small given the price. We spent $60 on three items for two people and, unfortunately, both left feeling unsatisfied.

By far, the best thai food within 15 miles in any direction. Great service, excellent food.
Very good food, good price, quiet, and we don't waited a lot.
Highly recommended.
Small place. Food was not that good. The service was really nice.
Love the food. Good size portion. Very tasty!
It was okay, but the seating was uncomfortable.
I have been a regular customer at this place for years, but unfortunately, the quality and value have declined significantly. After a terrible experience yesterday, we have decided not to eat here again. The food is expensive, contains minimal meat, and lacks authentic flavor. The final straw was the poorly prepared rice. I ordered red curry for over $14, and the rice was mushy as if it had been cooked with too much water. My wife, who is Vietnamese, and I eat rice often, and this rice was so bad we ended up throwing it away. The red curry had very little chicken and tasted pre-made. I understand restaurants are struggling, but please don't cut corners on your recipes to save costs. If the rice is poorly made, remake it instead of serving it. We have had many good meals here before, but now the food is overpriced, poorly made, and lacks value.
First time customers and we're excited to have found a Tai restaurant close to our home that meet our tastes. Based on this experience, we'll be returning customers.
I have been here a couple of times and have gotten takeout and the last time I went in to get my food and they said 10 minutes and then I got a text saying it will be 65 minutes but there was only 5 people in the restaurant also the spring rolls are not that good and the sauté was spicy and with ever bite got even more spicy
If you want to wait forever for ok food, with workers that show little signs of life this is the place to go! Ugh.... waited almost an hour for pre-ordered food.
Overpriced for what it is in addition to not friendly personal. Take your money and spend them elsewhere.
Ordered chicken Phad Thai with extra vegetables. Had no chicken and hardly any vegetables and no sprouts. Not going here again.
Be prepared to wait a 1 hour minimum if you get takeout orders past 3pm.
Awesome food, friendly staff, great atmosphere.
Still serving up excellent food 😁!
Some of the best Thai food around, hands down 😁!
Maple Valley Thai is able to execute on an experience that is above all the other Thai restaurants around; flavors, presentation, and atmosphere are all on point.
If you love good Thai food you will not be disappointed 😁.
Glad to see them back to serving up excellent once again 😁🙌🏼.
Great Thai food. I love the Phad Thai and crispy garlic chicken. I have this place quite regularly. There isn’t a better Thai place in the area, period.
Stopped in today on a whim and was very pleased. Staff was super friendly and the food was very tasty and fresh. We ordered the spring rolls, yellow chicken curry and the pad Thai with chicken. Would certainly recommend you give this place a try!
May be one staff is racist because they always frugal with Sambal even though we give extra tips
Staff is rude. Always frugal with Sambal. This time she said that they don't have Sambal. Common they have safeway in front. I have been regular customer here but from today's onward I am not going to come here.
Great food, fast and friendly service 😊
Best Thi secret in MV food is amazing love love love the crunchy garlic chicken! Great location right in the heart of four corners! Service is always on point!
Me and wife enjoy some good Thai food here. Especially there Tom Kha soup. Though it's slightly on expensive side. We treat ourselves well once in a while.
Food is good but waitress and front desk staff are very rude.
The girl who brought the water and cutlery were kind of throwing it on the table. Never experienced this kind of attitude from restaurant staff before.
Panang curry was on-point and delicious with a nice little spicy zip. The portion was wonderful and balanced that the chicken was not lost. Plus they had Singha beer which was the perfect compliment to the curry. Very nice place and diligent staff. Thank you!
Great food with flavor and spice, definitely our new go-to spot for a Thai food. The lunch special with rice and pad Thai was a good value, filling for me but my husband went for a full portion which probably suited him better.
Pad thai is delicious.
Wonderful food! Excellent choices.
I waited an hour to pick up an order to go. Will order from another place next time.food was not worth waiting that long
Wonderful food! I asked for 5 stars, I got 5 stars. Other Thai restaurants usually give me 3 when I ask for 5. Easy parking, take out option, nice staff. Our Thai restaurant of choice in Maple Valley.
Edit: knocked a star from “Service.” When the lady at the desk doesn’t say “Thank you.”
Horrendous service….An hour for to go order after pick up time…hostess laughing at customers for being upset with manager right next to her…I would not support this business again. Should be zero stars.
Came her for dinner because they have the best food rating for Thai food in the area. Service was very profesional. Waiter read back our order to make sure she got it all right. Everything came out tasting delicious! Definitely recommend coming here for your Thai craving!
Awesome dinner….Great service….will be back
sticky tables, long wait time, we ordered food and my mom got an appetizer, we waited an hour before she even got her appetizer and my rice wasn't even made right
Very yummy soup
Yummy
Absolutely delicious! From service to food and more, we'll be back!
Food itself is good, portions are relatively small compared to price. Service is bad, slow and never pick up there phones. Location is small and they are often closed early or closed without notice.
Tried to go during regular business hours and they were closed with no explanation why.
Really hard to get in. Or they are "closing soon" or they are "just closed"... I don't know. Really wanted to try this food, but can't get inside....
Food is great but hit or miss if they allow dining in. We just don't here any more because we don't want take out.
Love, love love!
I think they are true Maoists. They never seem to want to serve food...either closed for dining -in or they stop seating well before the published closing time. ALLWAYS CALL if you want to bother. Website does not reflect reality. Thankful for the many other options at 4 corners these days.
Delicious but servings are small
Yum! I was very pleased with my order Wednesday. I’ve also been enjoying left overs for two days now. Great food and friendly staff!!
Food was good, but the person of wait staff was not very welcoming and not courteous at all! Dine in is available for Lunch and only take out for Dinner
Best pad kee mao ever!
Everything was delicious!
3 star is pretty spicy compared to other restaurants. Food was great.
Using "covid" as an excuse to stay closed for dine in. Made portions smaller, but cost higher. Go to the next place.
Not open to indoor dining
Delicious food!
Food, prices and atmosphere are great. The only downside was that there was a water leak that kept dripping in to a bucket.
the best Thai you can get other than Banyon Tree in kent station. my only complaint is that they need more staff to take orders and to get the wait time for orders down... 1 1/2 hours to get my order last weekend!! cray cray! I went grocery shopping and came back and sill was not ready so had to sit in my truck another 30 min
Horrible service and food was not good!
I ordered a large takeout order for 9 people. I tried calling twice and no one ever answered. I ordered online through their website, where the prices were higher than on the menu we saw online originally. 7/9 people had issues with their meals. No rice was included with the curry/ entree dishes (also only 2 cashews in the cashew chicken meal). The pad Thai was very dry, and one of the no spice meals turned out very spicy. This is the second time we’ve ordered takeout and had a negative experience, so unfortunately I will be traveling to Kent for Thai food from here on out.
Total waste of money.
$96 for $45 worth of very bad food.
Based on portion size and quality I give it 1 star.
457 reviews with an Ave of 4.3 stars is puzzling and deceiving. Maple valley Black Diamond has some very solid restaurants, that is the baffling part. WHO is rating these guys ?
Here is the best way I can describe the quality in terms of taste and texture: They got a discount on day old Safeway Chinese Orange Chicken, warmed it up the next day and served. It was stale overcooked heavily breaded low quality meat.
Cheap Chinese under the guise of Thai food.
Phad See Ew was edible, theTom Young prawns soup was simply nasty.
The Pineapple Fried Rice……, it was the worst I have ever had. The rice and pineapple flavors were destroyed in what appeared to taste like a curry base.
See picture in their Menu and you will get the idea. It taste worse than it looks.
Perhaps one day in the past they rated high, but I am Judging based on today, my first (and last) time there.
Help is hard to find these day, but you are better off closed than substituting Safeways Day Old special then tripling the cost.
I went by the reviews and was disappointed not good sadly
Ugh :(
Amazing food!!
Great. Diverse menu, great service, and the food I'd also wonderful.
Very good food, tried multiple times
Delicious. We love going to a Thai restaurant in Tukwila but COVID made it a little more difficult since we are older. We finally got to go here to Maple Valley Thai Cuisine for a carry out, since their hours are limited, and were in heaven with the delicious food. Mine was 4 out of 5 in the heat scale and it was great. I don't know if I could handle the 5 heat. We will definitely be back. Keep up the good work.
I ❤️ the Mongolian beef ! Are you open for dine in yet???
Food was lovely. Great variety great service and great surroundings
We stopped here to have a bite to eat and glad we did.
Service was prompt and very nice.
Food was delicious with authentic taste from Thailand.
I had the Chow mein, incredible! And my partner has the Chicken Penang also delicious.
Spicey level 1-5.
I had a 3 and it was perfect.
We’ll be back,
Had Tom Yum soup with vegetables. One piece of broccoli, 6 pieces mushrooms, little bit of onion and 2 slices of tomato. 2 stars was too hot to eat. Told I couldn't get extra vegetables unless I made an order of steamed vegetables. Wife had Tom Yum with chicken but chicken was tough and sparce. Son wanted extra chilli sauce and they reluctantly brought a shot for a dollar. Sticky rice was so tough it was hard to cut into. Very old.
Excellent service, and some of the best Thai food I've had!
They scammed us charging $20 for a $13 veg pad Thai noodles dish on the menu. When asked why, they said they charged extra for tofu. $4 extra for 4 pieces(in literal sense) of tofu. Never going back.
Consistently delicious food. Always fresh and satisfying. Friendly, efficient service. Highly recommend!
Amazing food and definitely my favorite Thai restaurant. Not as close to home as others but worth the longer drive. Great food, wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant and good service.
I've been looking for great Thai food and tried it for lunch. I had the garlic pork lunch special that included pad thai and choice of white or brown rice (I had brown). Chose a 4 star spice intensity, which was perfect if you like it spicy. I'll definitely be back for more!
Went for lunch around 1:30. It wasn't too busy so was able to order right away and receive food within 10 minutes. The person who took my order was really nice and explained the dish well. Got the lunch cashew chicken and it was quite good. Had lots of veggies and great pad thai noodles. Will come back.
Wish they weren't so expensive! Love their crispy garlic chicken, but it's almost $20 and doesn't even come with rice.
Terrible customer service. Today I went to pickup my takeout order with my children, while waiting for my food my youngest said he was thirsty, I asked the owner or manager who was at the front counter for a glass of water for my child and she refused as she said I was not seated. So I pleaded but she was firm on “no”, because I was not sitting down. Unbelievable, lack of empathy and inhumane carelessness with their customers needs, not to mention it was my child. We will not be going back.
Best restaurant in MV.
Nice peace yummy food!
Been going to MV Thai for about a year since moving to the area and I've been pretty happy with the service and food. I wish they had dine in option, but they are short staffed.
Very good food and service.
It is the best thai cuisine I have ever been! Pad Thai is the best! Even though price is little bit high, it is worth it!
Wasn't open for dine in yet. Looks like a nice place but had to settle for take out. Food seemed good, but nothing special.
I hate to leave a negative review, especially since the food here is so good.
My issue with MV Thai is that they claim they can make dishes gluten-free (curry, basil eggplant, Pad Thai).
They may have used GF ingredients and simply not understood that cross contamination with gluten products can make customers with gluten sensitivities very sick.
Whatever the reason, I was severely disappointed, got sick shortly after eating the food and won’t be a repeat customer unless they learn how to make a truly gluten free dish.
Also, the Pad Thai had a bunch of very strange, hard crunchy pieces in it. We couldn’t figure out what it was and it was like eating giant pieces of sand, or small pebbles.
Decent food but wait times can be inaccurate depending on how busy they are.
This place makes the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. I literally cannot find a single restaurant near me that can make Pad Thai as good as this place. Every time I visit Washington I look forward to eating here, it is hands down my favorite place to eat. Their Pad Thai is not too wet, not too sour, perfectly sweet and spicy. If you like Pad Thai go here and try it NOW! It’s perfection!!! 🤤
My very favorite Thai food restaurant in the area. The pineapple fried rice and the Massaman Curry are my favorites. For lunch I like their Pad Thai the sauce is amazing.
Very god
Yummy yummy
Very disappointed. The ordering experience was not the best. But with covid, I understand. The food was pricey but ok if it's worth it...it was not at all. We ordered pineapple fried rice. It should have shrimp; there was not one. The rice was dark yellow and mushy, tasting of reheated curry. Also, shrimp salad rolls. It did not say how many were in an order but 4 were pictured, for almost $10, we only got 2. The ginger pork and chow mein we're edible but bland. With the disappointing food it is annoying that you are forced to tip on check out and charged .80 per bag. We will not be back
They handled our special allergy needs so well, the food was divine, and the drinks were memorable. The value was great!!
Wait time was more than an hour, I understand they are busy. That's fine. Then finally I arrived at the restaurant to pick up food and was told 20 more mins.
They had my contact and never bother to let me know there is a further delay. Very unprofessional. I've been receiving text message from other restaurants if they can't make it on time.
The basil fried rice is pretty good and had good and quick service. However, I am not very happy with the Thai Ice Tea, and it mainly had ice and very little tea; a good balance would be nice.
Really good food but these people absolutely refuse to answer their phones. I don’t get it. Every time I call, the phone rings indefinitely or if I get lucky, they’ll pick up and put me on hold indefinitely. I legit don’t understand. I’m just trying to give them my money and my business. Get it together, please.
Phad Thai slaps. Haven't tried anything else. Sorry I'm basic.
I usually don’t go out of my way to bash or speak poorly about a business, especially in these abnormal times; however upon ordering a lunch special I was informed that there were no substitutions which is completely understandable so I switched to a different combo. Turns out he misunderstood and gave me something different than what I ordered. Naturally I called and let them know the situation with I figured was an easy fix no big deal. Unfortunately all he did was apologize and said it won’t happen “next time”. I was quite astonished to hear that, as I was just hoping to get what I paid for, Absolutely terrible customer service, with lack of empathy. I’d highly recommend going elsewhere.
This place is reliably good. Only once I got the panang curry and I guess they had new kitchen staff, because it tasted different; good but different.
First time there and we loved the food and atmosphere😋
Love Maple Valley Thai Cuisine! Great food and reasonable prices
Really like this place. Gets very busy, so get your pickup orders in early. Garlic chicken, green curry, and chicken satay were tasty. The chili fried rice was great, as were the crab wonton. Look forward to coming back to try something new.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. It appears that their standard pickup estimate for online orders is just waaaaay too long. You get there when they tell you to, run home with your food, and everything is cold and soggy.
Just not good.
Excellent - can eat inside!
Good food and service!
It’s expensive and quantity is less but flavor is good
Food is always sooooo good!!! Highly reccomend!!!
YUMMY
Wow this place is popular and always on point. We’ve ordered here a number of times over the past few months and everything is fantastic! From the curry dishes to the basil fried rice with chicken, appetizers, Sweet and sour it’s all been great. Fast and friendly! Be aware of Friday and Saturday nights they get really busy so take out can be a bit of a wait. Well worth it if you plan ahead.
Stellar food, incredibly friendly staff, and well organized to handle serving take out for COVID.
My go-to in Maple Valley. I hope that when the dining room is full again someday that they stop doing take-out to focus on their in person guests.
Boo! Told me order would be ready at 5:45 25 minutes later I'm still sitting here waiting meanwhile lots of people walk in and pick up there prefer with no additional wait going to find a new Thai place after this experience
Great, loved it. 4 dishes all super good.
Very good Thai. Fresh and a little different with their recipes. No eggplant in green curry and instead includes green peas
Amazing food! Normally I’d say it is over priced- but the quality is so far superior to anything else around that it’s worth it!
Good food and friendly service.
I remember this places being really good and now it seems like it’s gone down in quality. Ordered a 3* and tasted like there was no spice and chicken was dry. I’ve had way better pad thai elsewhere that tasted better and was cheaper. Not worth the price I paid.
Food here is hit or miss. We basically order the same thing each time we eat here because we know how great it can be. Unfortunately it is not consistent. I've had 3 star entrees be perfectly spicy and then other times have no spice at all and instead be sweet. And this is of the same exact dish. Service here is horrible! Dine in and even when ordering take out. Its also quite expensive. We haven't been back in months because of all these issues. Unfortunately I haven't found thai food in the area that is as good as Maple Valley Thai can be when they are on point.
The chicken was a little dry.
A-MAZING!!! I've ordered a few times now and totally trust their suggestions. I did my usual Tom Kha and instead of Basil Fried Rice I tried the Green Curry Fried Rice. Yes it's warm but I like that. It was amazing 👏. Yes the wait is long so order ahead or be polite and wait. Some get so rude with the staff because the wait and yet they smile and put up with the mean people. Good food comes to those that wait. 👍🏼
Yummy, upscale Thai place, great for a date night when they are open for dine in.
Says they are open but they are not.
So good
Cheapskates. Poor portion sizes and god forbid they include rice with their meals without charging extra.
Love this place. O have only tried a few things, because I love them so much that I order them every time...
Always delicious
Great value for lunches.
Great food and service. We get the same thing every time...Pad Thai with chicken and Rama Noodles with chicken. We like those so much we haven't branched out but I'm sure it's all good.
Best ambience in the area. Food is quality.
Best Thai food around
Great food, great portions, relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I love coming here for date nights.
