Relaxed, stylish eatery offering noodles, spicy curries, and other Thai favorites, plus a full bar.
Strongly recommend Kho Mok Talay!!! Prawn, calamari and coconut flesh is cooked with curry. Its taste and smell are both excellent!
I also ordered Rock the Boat. It has soft shell, calamari, scallop and prawn. I think the crust is over thick.
The fried rice is great. Service is very nice!
The first visit was great. However, we were forced to tip at 20% for party of five on a Thursday lunch without being told in advance. Yet, the service was totally not worthy for 20% tips. They literally only took orders and delivered food to the table. Never ask anything or at least add water. Never visit again.

Great Thai food and amazing service! Highly recommend making reservations in advance.
I've had take-out a handful of times and dinned in this time. The food was fair but their padthai was on the sweeter side. (Almost too sweet). Seems a little hit or miss each time. Tom Yum soup was just right. There is a street food section on menu which is probably where most people likely order off of. The other dishes like the curries don't come with any rice. You have to order rice separately.
First time ordering the fried icecream. It was tasty but really small. It's like a half scoop of ice cream wrapped in a chewy donut. Your spoon won't be able to cut through it without destroying the whole thing. Triple or even 4x the size in serving and this might be a more popular item. I'm guessing most people order it once and never order it again because of the size. They place it between two sprays of whip cream and stripe it with some chocolate syrup. It looks pretty but you'll be left wanting.
Overall food was decent but slightly on the sweet side of things. Average spend is $25+ per person before tax and tip.
They charge tips twice. We have five people, and they didn’t let us know that there is already a 20% tip added to the bill. We are charged tips twice. Bad service. Be careful when you pay
Nice place. Friendly service. The food was good but it was not hot enough. It was more cold temperature than warm or hot.
Ordered from this place, no utensils in the bag or napkins. The woman working at the front was very rude and hostile. I handed her a bill for my food and she took it upon herself to keep the change.
Wouldn't recommend coming here. Clearly they just want your money without any service for the customers.
1/5
My food was good but not great. Came in for the combo with panang curry, white rice, phad Thai. Although the flavors were there, my food was lukewarm (if that), and the noodles in the phad Thai were so small and chopped I was chasing them with a spoon. Definitely not impressed being charged $4+ for a soda and they make it clear you only get one free refill. If my server would have visited my table more than taking my order and dropping off the food, I would have loved that one free refill. So, overall, good... But not great.
If there is one thing I dislike, it is dishonest business practices. I love coming to Nibana Thai Restaurant. However, on this special occasion, my wife's birthday on January 18, 2025, we came to celebrate my beloved wife's birthday. Even though, wife and I were a bit late, but my brothers made it on time.
The service was not friendly or welcoming as it was near closing time, which I understood. The waitress seemed a little at unease and a bit rushed. I understand we were late, so that did not bother me.
As we finished our dinner, our bill came to $404. I wish it had been communicated that gratuity or tips were already included. I did not realize they have a mandatory tip. I ended up tipping an additional 18%, which amounted to $72.87. To be quite honest, I do not pay attention to my receipt; my wife brought this to my attention.
I was very disappointed with the service and the fact that they took the extra $72 without mentioning sixty one dollar gratuity was already included made me feel frustrated. Times are hard for everybody, and I understand that, but dishonesty is a form of inappropriate business practice.
Nibbana Thai is my favourite Thai restaurant amongst all Thai restaurants
They have very good menu and taste is so delicious
Anytime am at Nibbana I order Angel winds, so amazing
We’ve come here multiple times and brought our family and friends. Our favorite Thai place in downtown Bellevue!

Here is another great place for Tai food. Service is super fast with great quality and testy food.
Hands down the best Pad Thai ever!!
Hours on Sunday, as per their website, are from 12-9:30 PM. We arrived at 8:40 on a Sunday. The lady turned us away saying that they were already closed and were only accepting to-go, mind you they had a bunch of tables filled with people who were still eating and ordering. She then said that the kitchen closes at 9:00 although their hours are until 9:30. How does this make sense? Your website states you close at 9:30 but yet you tell customers the kitchen closes at 9:00 and you only are taking to-go orders? Horrible service to say the least. Seems like they only hire lazy workers that turn customers away during business hours!
A nice thai place.
I ordered sticky black rice pudding and chicken pad kee mao for takeout. I liked the food, but the noodles literally only had one piece of chicken. There were minuscule chicken "shavings" practically dissolved into the sauce, but only one proper piece of chicken.
The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly and fast. The crab rangoons are some of the best I've ever had.

Great Thai food and amazing service! Highly recommend making reservations in advance.
Fried rice was good
Standard Thai food. Nothing stood out as that was really good. The angel wing had an overpowering smell of chicken, not in a good way. Other than that, there are better Thai choices in Bellevue.
Very good food and friendly staff!
Food is not bad. However they charged 20% tips for 5 of us without letting us know. No water refill and service is below average.
rating 1 star as they charged 20% gratuity for 5 people (this is not a standard practice based on anywhere else i have seen). additionally they prompted me in very bold and large letters to pay additional 20% tip. The food service and atmosphere was ok.
This was my first time eating here and I will not be back! My friend suggested this for our birthday lunch. I ordered the combo and was extremely disappointed! Don’t expect it to look like the photos that they have on the menu.
Apparently combo means one very tiny portion of meat served with a pile of noodles and a pile of white rice that makes up 80% of your plate. When I told the waitress That my Pad Thai has no bean sprouts on it, she started to argue with me and insisted that there were bean sprouts mixed in. What!?!
Since when Is pad Thai a flavorless pile of noodles, With no bean sprouts, onions, or pieces of peanuts?? There wasn’t even soy sauce on the table that I could try to repair this meal with. Chopsticks were not offered!
This was the worst tasting Thai food I’ve ever eaten. I will never return. Customer service was offensive! Not sure how this restaurant can stay open in business in Bellevue.
Everything is very tasty. The staff is excellent.
We had a great experience. Every single dish we had was fabulous. Shout out to the crab Rangoon’s! Atmosphere was warm and inviting. The tables were not cramped, service, exceptional. Coming back for sure.
Loved the service and the food was amazing too. Mango sticky rice is a must 👌🏼
Pretty nice place to casually dine out! Fish cake with fresh rolls with shrimp recommended!
Excellent! My friend recommended this place and we went early in the afternoon - we took our time and enjoyed our meal before it got busy. I loved the atmosphere and the beautiful presentation of each plate and meal. I went back with my another friend and enjoyed it very much.
Atmosphere is awesome. Every dish of food was spot on. The Thai iced coffee was insanely good. Found my new favorite Thai spot.
I feel like this restaurant does not listen to customers. Why is it so hard to serve rice with curry?!
Delicious curry, friendly service, big windows, and reasonably priced.
My first and last time here. We went with a party of 6. The food was so salty half the party had headache 20 min after we left. Vegetables on one of the orders was not cooked properly, and the last straw was that they included the tax on the 20% tip, for a service that was only a bare minimum. We had to chace the waitress a few times.
Asked for brown rice and got white. Mine was not medium spicy but mild.
The green curry and mango sticky rice were amazing, can't wait to go back and try their other dishes.
We used to love coming here, but sadly it's not the same it used to be. My friend found a hair in her fried rice and then a bug in one of the ice cubes in her drink. Definitely a quality control issue.
Really yummy kow soy. All the servers are really friendly.
Nice food, service was quick.
The food was good, but the service was slow. However, what really bothered me was their practice of adding fees and extra charges to the bill. A 20% gratuity was added to our party of 5, which is quite unusual. I usually tip between 20% to 30% based on the service, but I don't appreciate being forced to. Due to these issues, I won't be returning to this place.
Nibbana was super busy during the lunch hours and even though I called a few days in advance to make a reservation - they didn't seem to have a system in place. Their service seemed very rushed and kept forgetting parts of our order, seemed like they wanted us to finish early but maybe they were just understaffed that day. The food was delicious, no complaints apart from that I'd love it if the portions were a bit larger. I'd recommend visiting Nibbana, but would suggest going alone or in a smaller group (up to 4 people).
Tasty thai food, perfect location near offices which makes my fav lunch place.
On a recent trip to Bellevue, WA we were put up at a Marriott, and since we got there around lunchtime. Since we had jumped on an early morning flight we were super hungry and found Nibbana Thai just a few feet from the door of our hotel. So we had to go try it and not search for any other alternatives as both my wife and I love Thai food.
The place was crowded for lunch and we assumed if all the Microsoft folk loved it it would be good. It took 10 mins or more to get us seated. In the meanwhile we got ourselves accustomed to the menu and what we wanted to order.
My favorite at most Thai restaurants is the Kow Soy. It is a Northern Thai dish with egg noodles in a curry and served with protein and crispy noodles on top. I ordered the Kow Soy and my wife ordered the Cashew nut chicken combo. We loved the food as it was very authentic in flavor. We just wished the portions were larger. We recommended it to our friends who came in on a later flight and they loved the food too. Over the weekend we ate there again.
Very authentic Thai food restaurant. Be prepared for the waiting list sometimes during lunch time.
Good food and prompt, friendly service.
No complaint....
Best Tom Yum ever
The food was good.
But, we were charged a mandatory service fee of 20% for 5 people. On top of that, we were given a receipt which asks for a tip.
Menu states 18% for 6 people. I wonder why the waitress decided to add 20% on her own. A single entree plus rice comes to $25! I'll pass.
Reading through the reviews, it looks like this is a common scam with this restaurant.
Disappointed!
Spicy fish, cakes were awesome
The food and service was good. Taking two stars for deceptive pricing - they add a mandatory 20% service charge, then offer to leave another 20% as the tip on top of it
I used to live the place. This time we ordered take away, the $15 curry did not include rice (that’s what we were told over the phone though it does clearly state on the menu that it does come with rice), and when we asked for 2 servings of rice- we got this for additional price- see the picture. Very very disappointed, it feels like you have to check your food before you take it home.
Very welcoming. I think 3 staff said high before we made it to our table. The red curry [sub pineapple] was super. One note: unless you really love lychee Pass on the martini.
I was a frequent customer to their older location. I like their style of Thai cuisine. Friendly service, efficient, lively.
First time here, the pad Thai was great! Friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
Our party of 5 had an automatic 20% gratuity even though their sign said 6+ was 18%. And then, the receipt asked for a tip on top of that!! Pretty scammy. Also, we ordered tea and that never arrived. Meh food.
One of my favorite Thai Restaurants in Bellevue. Food is great, a lot of variety. Friendly , fast staff. Outdoor seating in summer is great.
Always the best Thai food in Bellevue!
Delicious food, great service, and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend the pad thai and crab rangoon!
Buen lugar para venir a comer 🙂
Wonderful restaurant! Food is always delicious!
Never going back to this place again. My wife was served one shrimp spring roll when we ordered vegetarian spring roll. She was sick immediately and puked it all out. People get sued for a lot less. Extremely lax attitude towards dietary preferences
Watch out! 1)These thieves sneakily charge more tips than you signed for, and 2) their servers are very rude to keep rushing you before you even finish eating!!!! I’ll never recommend it to anyone except my enemy!!
Excellent Thai food and great service. We liked everything from the drinks to appetizer to main entrees. Definitely will be back!
Easily the best Thai restaurant I've visited.
Fantastic service and wonderful food. They even have a little set to add spiciness if desired.
The glass ware is neat as well.
Overall an amazing experience. I wish I was local so I could visit more often.
Visited this restaurant for a team lunch. They were one cup of water short. So I asked one waitress for it. No water after 10 minutes. Asked again. No water. I thought it was because the place was busy. Asked one last time after the place is less busy. No water. Ok food but horrible experience with the service.
We had a wide variety of dishes and they were wonderful!
The food is not tasty at all
BLAND, NO flavor and NO hint of any spice heat....Very Disappointing.
Extremely flavor packed grilled chicken
Really good in everything , by far best Thai restaurant in Bellevue
Been going here for 15 years and our family still loves it. Consistently good Thai food, can't go wrong with anything.
I loved the pad see ew! Cool ambiance, friendly service!
That was the most boring larb I've ever had.
I arrived approx 1:45p. I was given my menu.
I seen happy hour started at 3pm. I asked my waitress if i can have a beer an calamari and then wait til 3pm to order off the happy hour menu. She said that was fine. I adked to keep my menu so i can decide by 3pm she left my menu.
At 3p I ordered a well drink and 3 sides on the menu each item was $6.
Shockingly the size of the happy hour items were a good size. Taste was decent for the price.
When my bill came my well drink rang up $10 (double) and each side was $7
I asked the waitress about the discrepancy and she said i had the wrong menu. I said this menu is what i was given, i specifically spoke to you about ordering at happy hour all with the menu they gave me
She said sorry and rang me up i still paid the amount off the hidden menu i was never given???
Food was too mid.. feels fraudulent
The best thai restaurant in Bellevue and also my to go place to eat. Tired almost everything on the menu. Crab Rangoon and pot stickers are fantastic apetizers. Garlic shirmp is one of my favorites. Must try tom yum soup, which is best known for its bold and spicy flavors. Usually, the restraunt can have 0-4 spice levels, but you can mention 5 😅 which I regularly do. In noodles, you must try either pad thai or pad see ew. I love their stir fired curries and fried rice. They have different beverages, out of which I prefer Thai ice tea. You can try that iced coffee if you're not a big fan of tea. They serve seasonal dessert mango sticky rice, which is so good or can have coconut ice cream.
If rice is not included with the curry, I was not aware from the menu. It has always been a gold standard that a side of rice is included. We received our (take out) order without rice and unfortunately had nothing to eat it with. We also found it interesting that the fresh rolls came with hoisin instead of peanut sauce. It was the first place we had ever seen this at in all my years of eating at Thai restaurants, and my friend is also from Thailand. We gave it a shot but it certainly took away from the experience. Unfortunately we assumed it came with peanut sauce (“Fresh Spring Rolls” is the option on the to go menu), but now knowing the hoisin sauce in the full description we would have ordered something different. A homemade peanut sauce would be a delicious option to consider to enhance the dish! :)
I’m only rating the food, as we ordered offline and had the food delivered. It was not good.
The pad Thai lacked sauce or flavor. And not spicy at all when asked. Not sure what happened to this place but it just wasn’t what it used to be. Plus the portions weren’t very much for the price. No value.
Just felt like it was lacking and both entrees were not good in taste. It was sad. We will not be ordering from here again.
Great good, fast service, and large portions.
Food is great! Our order was messed up by server but that’s understood since it was busy time of the day.
Good Ambient, Quality food.
If u need spicy, please inform the Marster early. Otherwise u will get sweet..
Excellent food and service with nice ambience. Highly recommend this place for all Thai food lovers
Loved the food, service, and ambiance. Highly recommend Penang Curry and Noodles.
This is by far my favorite Thai restaurant. The crying tiger is my favorite dish and you just can’t get it anywhere else. Parang curry is great also. Get the unsweetened iced tea.
The food was fantastic, and the ambiance of the place was delightful. I opted for the lunch special, which not only was delicious but also had a satisfying portion size. Additionally, I decided to try the Thai iced tea for the first time, and I must say it was a refreshing and enjoyable experience.
Food was below the bar we ordered cashew nit stir fried which has some rotten onions. My stomach went upsent the next day after dinner. We were being served chicked despite of ordering vegan food.
The most pathetic Thai basil fried rice I have ever ate in my life. Pls don’t go to this place - over priced , low portion size and pathetic taste of food serving restaurant. I am never ordering from this place again. Bell peppers were literally raw , there was just no taste , hardly 2 pieces of Thai leaves and low to no eggs. I need refund !
Versatile and delicious thai restaurant! Fairly priced, not busy at all. If you love Thai food, give it a try!
Best dishes were: Stuffed chicken wings, best among all the great dishes. The fried seafood platter, the spicy sauce was bomb!❤️🔥. All desserts were awesome!
Cost $29 including tips per person for us.
Wow! This eatery is AMAZING! The food is fantastic and staff is friendly, welcoming, fast and accommodating. Today 7/12/23 at approximately 11:30a I was in a hurry to grab a take out lunch due to my work schedule. I rushed in and was greeted with friendly smiles. I immediately asked what was the fastest meal they could prepare for takeout. The hostess (I didn’t get her name) told me it was chicken Pad Thai. She was very kind and friendly. I ordered it immediately. I went to sit and wait expecting at least 10 -15 minutes before the food was brought out. Less than 2 minutes later she came over smiling telling me a previous order had just come out for chicken pad Thai and she wanted me to have it since I was in a hurry. Wow! Now that’s customer service at its finest! I will recommend Nibbana to everyone I know. Good food, great staff and EXCELLENT customer service! Thank you!
Excelente Restaurante 👍 ! Muy buena servicio, riquísima la comida 😋 y las bebidas siempre refrescantes 👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
6 pieces of chicken in my entire pad thai. Also when I asked for 3 stars spicy I was given the least spicy pad Thai I’ve ever ate. Kind of disappointing.
Great food, great staff, great restaurant.
Authentic, yummy Thai street food. My favorites are the appetizers with Thai iced tea to wash it down.
Clean, good food, and nice service.
We keep coming back.
Delicious food, amazing service. Try the pork larb salad and mango sticky rice
Delicious food , Especially we loved whole tilapia Fry dish.service was good too by our waitresses Lisa .
A lunchtime favorite when in the office.
Really enjoyed having them right next-door to our office before moving to this new location. Great to see the quality of service and food is unchanged.
It was ok. At first I thought that it wasn't bad however then before completely finishing my meal I discovered that there was something crunchy in it that should not have been. Disappointed ☹️
Restaurant was very close by literally across the street so I wanted to get something before they closed.
I ordered spicy wings, tiger prawns in a blanket, Tom kha and the mango dessert. Everything was excellent except the spicy wings. The wings were dry. Didn't care for them.
The mango was very good.
Pad thai is too sour, do not recommend. The other foods are good though.
Ive gotten pickup orders and have eaten here many times. Always good service and delicious food!
I don't recommend this restaurant. I've been there twice, and both times were disappointing. During my first visit, they got my friend's order wrong and their attitude towards handling the mistake was poor. The second time was a team lunch, and they messed up my colleague's order as well. The staff displayed impatience while serving our food, yelling, "Who ordered the two-star spiciness?" twice and walking away. They didn't even ask for our preferred spice level when taking our orders, so we were left confused about their system.
While the food is tasty, the service is extremely subpar. I won't be returning for a third time. It's a shame because with better service, this place could have been great. I hope the management takes this feedback to heart and works on improving their service quality in the future.
First time here, came in at 12pm for casual eat. The place is packed with people for work lunch. The environment is quite noisy. Ordered Phad Prin King with chicken, the quality and the flavors are good, but not great. The price is inline with similar restaurants in downtown Bellevue. If you seek authentic Thai restaurant experience with more delicious food, there are better options nearby (e.g., Fern Thai @ Main Street).
We showed up about 1 o'clock to a half full restaurant. Place is clean and people are friendly! It took a long time to get our order taken. Seems maybe understaffed? But our waitress was at the bar talking to the manager who was doing paperwork and hanging out. Food was good but I do hate having to get our waitress to help us. I doubt I will go back but I am sure others will enjoy their time there.
Food came out fast and hot and oh so delicious. Pad See Ew was by far the best I've had. Yellow curry was so creamy and had the perfect amount of spice. Crab Rangoon was crispy and had the perfect amount of filling. Absolutely a must go if you're in the area!
Best Thai food that we ever ate! Going to be eating here weekly! ***** Crab Fried Rice!
This restaurant was located right outside of our hotel, so it was convenient. We ordered lunch and had to wait a bit for the food to come. There were 4 of us, and everybody's food came out at different times. It was tasty, but nothing to write home about. We asked for hot tea, and they brought out a honey jar that was old, with a top that was barely hanging on, and they did not have a replacement. We paid the $126.52 bill between the 4 of us in cash and left a tip. As we, women of color, were leaving, an Asian guy from the restaurant came chasing us down to say we had not paid the bill in full, and we still owed money. He did not realize that one of the bills was $50, not $20. We had to count it out, including the tip, while people in the restaurant were staring. It felt targeted in the way he came at us as we were the only table with African Americans. This was not ok, and we would hate for anyone else to be treated this way.
I don’t think I will come back here again. The waitress charged me a wrong receipt
And the food was mediocre. Quite disappointing
Fantastic food, amazing presentation
Excellent service and the display of food was elegant. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. We even had leftovers for another night.
Great dining experience for a small group. Flavorful Thai street food with a plethora of vegetarian friendly menu options.
