I looked up their reviews on Google. First I saw people really love this place. Like I said today now I know why. I ate some fried rice with the house made chili oil sauce. The picture didn't make it to the Google review because I ate it way too fast, I guess I was hungry. Found my favorite coconut water and one of my all time favorite ginger treats in this location. This place is now one of my favorites 😁 Somewhat hidden, somewhat secret but it's definitely a special 💎 gem in this community.

This is a really good Thai spot inside a Thai grocery store in/near Oak Cliff. The pho and pad thai were incredible. Their sausage is also really good.

Make sure to ask to add the quail egg and pork blood, dump all the bean sprout in, and squeeze in the lime and add chilly paste in as you to refresh and modify the soup to your taste. The Lao sausage was excellent too and their serving of even the small size sticky rice is too generous. Can’t believe I haven’t checked out this place till now. Love it.

A hidden Thai food gem.

One of my favorite places!!!! My sister is pregnant and she is super picky but drives 45 minutes here because she fell in love with the chicken spring rolls and the peanut sauce!! Honestly the best!!!!! And may i add i love their rice cakes, helps my sweet tooth everytime!!! Also their pho!!!! You have to try!!!! They have alot of good finds aswell in their store!! It really is a Gem in Oakcliff!!

I love this restaurant, Kam, Brian and the family. I have been coming here for the six and a half years I have lived across the street. It is a hole in the wall in a pot holed parking lot for a run down strip mall. Do not be mistaken. The best Thai and Laotian food I have eaten in my entire life. Try the sir fried veggies, you will be blown away.

Great People, Great Food

This place has always been a gem. Place your to-go order at the front (not the back or you'll do a walk of shame back to the front), do a little shopping, and chat with the staff while waiting. These guys know that SOUP goes in a BAG to prevent spillage. The spring-rolls have MINT. Everything about it is perfect.

All the food is delicious, but the sausage links are truly special. The herbaceous lemongrass balances the fat of the pork immaculately.

Ly foods has become our favorite place in Oak Cliff! Some of the best curry I have ever had. The staff is friendly and the food is always top notch. I always get take out when we have friends or family visit. I just wish they were open a little later.

Some the best pho in dallas

I don’t really know how to start this off, but this is probably hands-down the best place to get beef pho. I’m Cambodian my fiancé is Vietnamese and I lived in Vietnam for five months. This is hands-down. The best pho I’ve ever had outside of my family definitely get it!! Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu, I’ve got no pictures for now but when I go back, I’ll take some.

No lie, I’m addicted.
My partner and I always order their beef pho and yellow curry. You can not go wrong with anything.
Also, their eggrolls are the best. I have not found any other placd to date that does it better than them!

Love this place. Best yellow curry and pad Thai around. Affordable, delicious and they are super flexible with spice and meat options. The market also has many noodles and ramen options to purchase from.

Wonderful food and service from a family-run spot. There are a few tables in the back of the shop to eat in, or you can always get food to-go. The short ribs are super tasty and I usually get the pad kee moa, but everything I've ordered has been great. Take the spicy levels seriously...spicy level 5 will make you cry if that's your sort of thing. The shop also has some condiments, drinks and snacks from around Asia. Love this spot!

Always feels like home

It is a small dining area, but it is extremely cozy. The cashier, is a very friendly person. The cooks are very friendly and they are very good cooks. I love eating in, they make you feel appreciated. The pad Thai and spring roll combo can't be beat.

This place is such a gem in the community. If you need Asian grocery staples, this place is so much closer and will have it. If you're eating at the restaurant in the back, they have never once disappointed. It tastes so good and home cooked.

The go to place for Asian herbs such as Lemmon grass..Thai basil...kefir lime... and more in a home style grocery with out having to drive 1 hr away. The fried rice is so good i had veggie. The Pad Kee Mao and Pad See eew are excellent. Love this place!!

Lad Na was something they recommended and it was fine. Light in flavor and the gravy was slimy as expected.

Everything is fairly self service, grab utensils and togo boxes on your own. We were offered free bottled water when we went. I would go back if I was in the area hungry.

Mom the food was great and customer service was great. It is also a grocery store, so it wasn't your typical restaurant atmosphere.

Feel like I'm in SE Asia. Very easy and authentic. Freaking good noodles and the red curry was exactly the flavor I wanted. 11 bucks a plate but good portion. Genuine Thai. Might be Oak Cliff's best kept secret besides the Stevie Ray Vaughan Park.

I love everything about this place. The pad Thai with tofu and veggies is my favorite, and the yellow and green tofu and veggie curry is a close second. Their spring rolls are also amazing. I've been here more time than I can count for dine-in and take out.

There was a slight mistake with my order but i talked to Phil and he was awesome and made up for it! Good food and HUGE portions with fair prices given how expensive everything is nowadays. I just recently moved to the area and discovered Ly Food Market. It’s great! The food is very authentic and delicious clean and fresh. My favorite is the papaya salad with as many chilies as possible 😍 and a side of sticky rice and sausage to pair. The Laap and Pho are good too! Definitely recommend getting takeout or dining in. All the staff are very kind.

Tonight was our first time eating from here and we really loved it. Maybe the best egg rolls I’ve ever had! Wish I would’ve ordered more. Pad Thai and Fried Rice were excellent as well. Definitely ordering again.

I am obsessed with the shrimp spring rolls, and the peanut sauce! The peanut sauce is to die for, super tasty and flavorful! I strongly recommend you get it with your spring rolls. Yummy food. So happy it’s so close to home.

I ordered Larb beef and I didn’t know they have many kinds of larb which i got larb bitter and i couldn’t eat it and they said it my fault to order that but i just order Larb beef and didn’t mention about the bitter or sour but they assumed that asian people would eat the bitter one and no apologies or remake it really bad experience

Delicious food and it'll probably be my new go to for Thai food. Plus they sell all kinds of stuff mainly food related at the food Mart. Anyway if you live close by go. It's closed between 230 and 330 though.

On my goodness. I love this place. Truly a Mom and Pop restaurant. I love the Red Thai Curry. You can get chicken, beef, or shrimp. My fav is Shrimp. You can control the heat level. It's a 1-5 level; 4 is my comfort level. It is delicious. Fair price for a delicious meal❣️

Definitely an experience! Store clerk was awesome & the food here is good, I had Chicken Pho & it was the first time ever that I've had it with lettuce, not a bad combo definitely a first but it didn't change the flavor much on it & it was just as delicious! Forgot to take a photo, for sure next time! This store also had a lot of Vietnamese objects and food sources so when in doubt check your local store they might have what you're looking for if you need it from abroad!

Unassuming eatery with the best pho I’ve had in Dallas to date. The beef and chicken pho had that rich, savory complex broth so many other restaurants miss. The wings were also delicious-a not-overly sweet buttery dry rub on good sized wings. This is a must try restaurant; You will be delightfully surprised!

I work in South Dallas and I was looking for some Asian food to eat around here for lunch (which is nonexistent in south Dallas).

I tried Ly's pad Thai and it's probably top 3 pad Thais I've had in DFW!

The pad Thai sauce is a good amount sweet and spicy and perfectly cooked.

I forgot to take a picture of the fried egg rolls but those were excellent as well.

I remember back when I first found this place in like 2014 and it was a little whole in the wall but omg was it good!!! To this day it’s the best Thai food I have ever had. It’s made fresh and the service is amazing. I love going inside to buy their snacks and drinks too. Just try it, you won’t be disappointed! 😋

If I were going to ask for one change it would be paper containers instead of styrofoam.
