First-rate Thai cuisine in Bellevue, WA. We use authentic method of cooking and recipes that represent all flavors from the four regions of Thailand.
I came here with a large group, and three of us ended up ordering the Roast Duck Curry, including myself. I got it at a four-star spice level.
Before that, though, our group ordered a bunch of appetizers. My favorite of these was the Crab Rangoon, but the Calamari was also decent enough. The fried mushroom was pretty weird as I got zero mushroom taste from it whatsoever.
The main thing I got was the Roast Duck curry, as mentioned. This came in a pretty massive pot, with a lot of duck meat in the middle. However, oddly, they gave us one bowl of rice for the three people that ordered the curry. I guess this bowl was meant to represent 3 portions of rice, but I don't get their thought process on how we're supposed to eat the meal, given that they took our appetizer plates. We had to ask for plates, but the bowls they gave us instead were incredibly small and barely fit two spoonfuls of rice.
What I ended up doing was taking a spoonful of rice from the slightly larger bowl and putting it in my bowl, then adding some curry on top of that. Because the space for the rice was so limited I had to do this several times over the course of the meal. It would've been way easier to give us a plate or a larger bowl to eat.
The rice was fine - your average rice.
I did think the curry was generally pretty good, though. I was pleasantly surprised that the four-star spice level actually lived up to its name - it was surprisingly spicy, which I enjoyed. I could also taste the strong flavor of the red curry the dish was baked in.
As far as the duck, I also liked it. You can clearly tell that it tastes a lot better than more common meats like chicken or turkey due to a richness to the meat, and they did a good job of capturing that here. It was well cooked, and the skin was pretty crispy as well
I'm not sure I'm a fan of adding a bunch of fruits within the curry, though
The duck curry wasn't too expensive - around $20, but like mentioned it was a lot. Since I didn't want to take anything home I made sure I finished the meat to get my money's worth and then left the rest.
Overall, it's a pretty well-flavored and well-cooked curry with a great spice level, but the eating experience left room for improvement. 7.75/10
Crazy good food. Have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. I think the prices are totally worth it for the quality of the food and the portions. Ambiance and decor is lovely especially during the summer where they open the patio. Location is very nice as well. Their drinks like lavender lemonade and the Thai iced tea are also delicious. My favourite dish here has to be the duck curry. Must try if you’re around Bellevue/Seattle
We have come to this place multiple times, and it is literally our favorite Thai restaurant in the Eastside.
Tom Yum soup is my favorite dish after visiting Thailand a couple of years ago, and this is the only place that has the very authentic Tom Yum soup we have had. We also ordered green curry and eggplant salad, and they are all quite delicious 😋
Service here is always very welcoming. It does get very busy on the weekend. So reservation is highly recommended.
I was recently introduced to this place and I think it’s amazing!
First things first - the service is okay because most don’t speak English, so I’m not gonna leave a review about that, they’re doing what they can to make a living. Also, they’re not rude, it’s just a cultural thing.
I’ve gotten pad Thai and Thai tea to go here and it was both AMAZING. Probably the best combo I’ve had. The pad Thai tasted so fresh and the presentation in the to go box was the same as on the plates I’ve seen in photos. The thai tea was great and wasn’t too sweet, which usually they are.
My first time dining in was the most yummiest dinner I’ve had within the Thai cuisine. We got the lamb shank and duck curry and omg…. You guys have to try one or the other, or both. The curry was SO GOOD and the duck was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The lamb peeled off the bone so easily and the sauce with it was delicious. They both don’t come with rice so you do have to order that separately.
We also got fish cakes to share, and they were tasty.
The second time I went, we had chicken wings and pad se ew and crab Rangoon. We thoroughly enjoyed each bit is still go back for that duck curry!!! 😅
But I also want to try more of their dishes because every single one has been delicious
I’ve heard that their garlic chicken and Tom yum is good, so trying that next for sure!
A Taste of Thailand in Bellevue: Fern Thai Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Bellevue, Fern Thai Restaurant is nothing short of a culinary treasure. Known for its vibrant flavors, diverse menu, and an array of exotic drinks, it’s no surprise this spot is celebrated as one of the best Thai restaurants in the area.
Having dined here multiple times, I can confidently say the quality remains consistently exceptional. During my most recent visit, I started with the calamari and crab rangoon as appetizers. The calamari was perfectly cooked tender on the inside with a crisp, golden exterior, while the crab rangoon boasted a delicate balance of creamy filling encased in a light, flaky wrapper. Both were served fresh and piping hot, setting the stage for the main course.
For my entrée, I opted for the Panang Neau Yang, a savory dish featuring tender grilled beef in a rich, aromatic Panang curry sauce. The flavors were impeccably layered—spicy, sweet, and creamy, with just the right hint of coconut. Paired with steamed jasmine rice, every bite was a comforting journey into authentic Thai cuisine.
Beyond the food, Fern Thai provides a serene and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely lunch or a special dinner. Whether you’re a seasoned Thai food enthusiast or a curious first-timer, this restaurant is sure to impress.
If you find yourself in Bellevue, treat your taste buds to Fern Thai. It’s a dining experience you won’t forget. Be sure to tell Tee I sent you. He is an incredible host.
Pretty good place to try authentic Thai food in Bellevue 🥰 I can’t give out the perfect 5 stars because it’s missing something I can’t describe, I need more wow in their flavors and creation. We order 4 dishes and all of them are pretty good: Tom Kha, Crispy Garlic Chicken, Crab Fried Rice, and Choo Chi Salmon Curry. Everything with level 2 out of 5 for spiciness.
In addition, the service was normal.
Visited Fern Thai and had a rather disappointing experience. The wait staff lady, was incredibly rude making the overall experience unpleasant. The ambiance was okay but extremely crowded and super loud. The servers were inattentive—we had to repeatedly use hand gestures just to get their attention.
For appetizers, we ordered fresh spring rolls with tamarind sauce, which were fresh and felt super light. However, the main courses were a letdown.
• Pad Thai Boran with Tofu – Came with a raw banana flower that was inedible. The dish was overly sweet, the noodles were mushy and clumped together, and the tofu was so hard it was difficult to chew.
• Pad Kee Mao with Chicken – Despite specifically requesting a mild spice level (2), the dish was incredibly spicy, making it hard to enjoy.
For the price, I expected better. The portion sizes were okay, but the taste did not justify the cost. Overall, with the rude service, inattentive staff, and inconsistent food quality, I’d think before visiting again.
Outstanding food, make time to enjoy a night here. Tofu was excellent too if you're vegetarian. Pad Kee Mao and Basil Fried Rice were great.
Orderd from uber . I have always used another thai restaurant in the area, though I would try this. got green been, mushy . Jasmin rice was OK. the Cashew chicken was terrible.b So over cooked could hardly chew , there were hardly any peppers or unions or cashews. The fresh rolls were just Ok, no crunch, peanut sauce was blah Tried to write the restaurant directly, there is no way to from their webpage. I recommend you do not bother to visit.
Quality food for the price, depth of flavor, good variety, love the grab rangoon it's house made. We tried a few seafood dishes, all tasted yummy! They don't take reservations, and the wait during busy hrs is 20-30 mins, which doesn't make for a great experience as there is limited seating to wait during rainy days. Parking options are limited, and it is difficult to find a free spot on the street, but there is a nearby underground paid parking.
Honestly just going to keep it short. You may want to come but don't. They just want your money without providing any type of service. Very rude, very disrespectful towards customers coming in to give THEM money.
My family and I felt uncomfortable the entirety of the meal. The food was flavorless and lacked effort as well.
0/5 would not recommend at all.
I would consider this an overpriced Thai restaurant, but I guess it is because of its location in Bellevue. My experience with ordering and receiving food was frustrating. I ordered a standard Thai curry, and my friend went with the classic Pad Thai—both were mediocre at best. However, the restaurant does have a trendy ambiance for a Thai spot.
If I had to recommend a dish, the garlic crispy chicken stood out the most. On the other hand, the pineapple fried rice was a complete disappointment—the pineapple pieces were cold, hard to chew and lacked sweetness, making the dish disastrous.
One negative thing that surprised me was that rice had to be ordered separately for the curry—this is the first Thai restaurant in the U.S. where I’ve encountered that.
Additionally, the service was lacking—the servers were not very attentive throughout the meal.
Revisit intention: Maybe
Vibe: Pass
Cleanliness: Pass
Food: No
Service: Barely pass
Tasty Thai food with generous portions. Only downside was the chilly indoor temperature. Might want to bring a sweater next time
I’ve given Fern a few chances and every staff member has been rude during every experience. The food is way overpriced. My vegetables were served partially frozen. Just feels like it’s very poorly run. There are so many other amazing Thai restaurants in Bellevue! This one is worth skipping.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Fern Thai on Main! After an invigorating hike, my wife and I, along with two other couples, were looking for a great place to refuel, and this restaurant exceeded all expectations.
From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful Thai-inspired decor that set the perfect mood. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient despite the restaurant being busy.
Now, let's talk about the food—simply outstanding! The Iced Tea was refreshingly perfect after a long hike, striking just the right balance of sweetness. The Thai Green Curry was incredibly flavorful, with rich, aromatic coconut notes and just the right level of spice. The Sweet and Sour Curry was another highlight, offering a perfect blend of tangy and savory flavors that paired beautifully with the fragrant Jasmine Rice. Every dish we ordered was packed with authentic Thai flavors, and you could tell that high-quality ingredients were used.
Overall, this was one of the best Thai dining experiences we've had. If you're in Bellevue and craving delicious Thai food with top-notch service, Fern Thai on Main is a must-visit! We'll definitely be coming back soon.
I 've been there with coworker for lunch and dinner with my family many times. O
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the rude behavior of the lady at the counter. When we arrived, she asked us to wait, which I didn’t mind, but her tone was unnecessarily harsh. While waiting, we politely asked to see the menu, but she rudely refused and told us we couldn’t look at it until we were seated.
The lack of professionalism and courtesy from the staff was shocking and left a negative impression. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service.
Best Thai food in town! My favorite dishes are the pad Thai boran and crispy garlic chicken. Can't have a meal without a classic Thai iced tea on the side as well 😋
10/10 recommend!
Fabulous authentic Thai food!! One of my favorites BUT - if you want to be able to converse over a meal at all, it’s impossible to do so here. You literally have to scream. Even at lunch. We almost went hoarse. It would be awesome if the owners fixed the ceiling / roof and made it so we are able to speak inside without the loud roar. We went downtown the street for dessert afterwards with a huge sigh of relief!
Worst service ever! They don’t listen and are very rude…
One of the best thai spots in Seattle! The Pad See Ew was exceptional and fried rice was also really good 👍
I have been to Fern Thai on Main in Bellevue three times now, and I am always impressed. The Pad Thai is amazing, whether with chicken or meat, and the spring rolls are delicious. I also love how they plate everything, it’s a nice touch. Great food and service every time!
Great food, good location, service was on point. Would highly recommend!
Good good
Extremely solid Thai food was really acceptable. Prices some of the most cost-effective one in the city!

great place to eat
very good customer service
Best Thai food I've ever had in my entire life, hands down!! I highly recommend Thai Iced Tea!! For dessert, we ordered a Berry Crepe cake, which was absolutely incredible and very light and airy, exactly as it should be. Fern Thai has most definitely become my #1 favorite Thai food restaurant.

Tom Kha good with lots of prawns
Penang curry was good but a bit spicy
Pla Manow sauce good but fish too hard
We stopped by without a reservation, hoping to check if there were any available tables since we saw several empty ones. If not, we were ready to move on to another spot. However, we ended up standing at the entrance for 10 minutes, along with a few other people, without any clear communication. Every time we tried asking a waiter, all we got was a “Give me a minute.” It felt like an unnecessary waste of time. A bit of efficiency and clarity would have gone a long way.
We had a dinner with a family. Everything was tasty and well served! Recommend this place !
타이음식 잘하는집 ^^ 써비스는 좋지 않다
Really authentic Thai food, super tasty. Good vibes and atmosphere overall.
It was good
great place very big dishes 👍
The food was a bad experience. Service was disconnected and out of sync. Atmosphere had flies.
Want seat us at the bar but won't accept vertical
ID (over 21 for sure). I get it it's your right or house rule or whatever but you could say it more politely and don't have to yelling "it's our right or you can leave".
Worst attitude I've ever seen.
Most authentic Thai restaurant in bellevue! Our favorites are the pad Thai, pad see ew, and enoki mushroom appetizer.
First time visiting here and most likely the last. The food was decent…overpriced, but it’s Bellevue.
My issue: when we ordered the green curry, rice was not included, we had to pay additional for the rice! I’ve been eating Thai food for over 20 years, and never did I pay for rice for my green curry. Yes, it was only $2 more dollars, but the principle got me upset…it’s like ordering ramen, but you have to pay extra for noodles. Also, not once did any of the servers come by to ask how our food was and not once did they come to refill my water…I had to get their attention to ask them for water. I get it was Saturday evening, but still, I expected a certain level of service. Service was bad. Rice should absolutely be included with green curry.
Great food. Perfect service!
After hearing a few people telling me that fern Thai was pretty good, I ended up giving it a try. I got the Kow Soi and although the flavor was alright, it was way to salty to finish. Maybe it was just a one off thing.
The food was salty and the noodle dish had a nut in it and it was not supposed to - imagine not seeing it and having a nut allergy! The veggie spring roll has no veggies - just cabbage! Tasteless. When speaking to manager she is not apologetic just said that the veggies spring roll has just one veggie that is cabbage - the description should say cabbage roll and not veggie!!! Not careful in their prep of food! And service is not great! Very disappointed as it’s close to my house but luckily we have lots of options! Also, if you go and sit by the windows look closely at area around the windows = filthy!
Food, service, and wait times were excellent
The receptionist lady with eye glasses was extremely rude. Will never go there again.
Visiting Seattle for the first time and decided to try this place out! Got street parking pretty easily - our group got the crab rangoons, skewers, tom yum soup, garlic chicken, pad thai, and crab fried rice. I would say all around a pretty good experience and a good try if you’re interested!
Food was great and staff were friendly
We were excited to celebrate a friend's birthday at Fern this weekend. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambiance, and we were looking forward to a delicious meal. Unfortunately, the evening was marred by a few unpleasant experiences.
My baby, who was quite distressed, was unable to calm down. While I understand that crying babies can be disruptive, the waitstaff's reaction was quite rude and unprofessional. Instead of offering any empathy or understanding, they were visibly annoyed and rolled their eyes. When we tried to take the baby to a corner to calm him down, one of the staff rudely asked us to return to our table and muttered something related to the baby under her breath.
To add insult to injury, when we brought a birthday cake to celebrate, we were charged an additional $12 for the restaurant to cut it. This fee, combined with the overall unpleasant atmosphere, left a sour taste in our mouths.
It's disappointing that a special occasion was ruined by such poor service and a lack of understanding. We hope that the restaurant management can just add that they are not welcoming guests with young children.
Very good and tasty; we did not wait long; friendly service with some nice recommendations; food between 15 and 25$; I enjoyed the place and the food.
Had reservations but had to eat at bar
Food was great, service quick and attentive. Had good beer options as well and tasty drinks
I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience here was absolutely awful.
I watched while I was in line to be seated for a table….the manager, Gol, treated an Uber driver like complete trash. Was incredibly disrespectful for no reason, while the driver was simply trying to get his order picked up. She was condescending and there is no excuse to ever talk or treat an individual the way she did.
Ruined our dining experience since she was ALSO rude to my mom and I as we were waiting to be seated. There is no reason to treat people this way.
I have noticed there are several reviews expressing unpleasant experience with management, particularly with this individual.
Food is alright but had a jarring service experience here. I calculated the tip on my phone calculator but I guess I pressed something incorrect so it ended up being 10% tip, which was my bad but I didn’t notice at the time. The waiter took the receipt and later came back asking if his service was bad and I said oh no and was very surprised why he was asking and he just says “you only tipped 10% that’s kind of rude” in a rude manner in front of me and my friend like he’s trying to embarrass me when it was a genuine mistake. I pulled out my phone again to check the calculation and he pulls the check away and says never mind. My friend and I were left speechless.
The thing is that if he would’ve pulled me aside privately or even in front of my friend but kindly asking about the tip and how he could improve, I would’ve realized it was a mistake and changed it, and we all would’ve left happier.. I don’t understand why people are unnecessarily rude when it doesn’t help them or anyone in the situation involved..
There were also a ton of flies indoors and around our food.
Server was very rude and ruined our whole experience, bugs everywhere but food was fairly good
Food and service was ok!
We have tried the crispy garlic chicken and thai fried rice and loved it. Would recommend everyone to try these.
pad kee mao i want mao. gai tod pat yay, decent but not exceptional.
The “holy basil” was excellent!
Nice food! Love it!
The food was exceptionally delicious! The vibe was very close to the authentic Thai experience that it brought back memories of Thailand. Our server, Tu, was hospitable and ensured we enjoyed our food. The restaurant was loud so it was hard to listen to and talk to my partner.
Best Thai food in Bellevue. Smooth and powerful flavor while being authentic. Tried around 10 dishes of the menu, they all really good :) Go there once per week almost.
I just recently moved to the areas, stopped in for lunch. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken! So delicious- will definitely be back!
If I could leave 0 stars I would. The staff here is extremely rude and the manager chased my mom down the street yelling and cursing at her for no apparent reason. Terrible.
Wonderful lunch option! Great outdoor ambiance and wonderful food.
The kow soi, phad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and sweet & sour chicken was great. The fried rice was perfectly done and the curry was really tasty.
We had the pork satay appetiser and the pad see ewe. The appetiser was great! We got our table pretty fast and the service was good.
love the food and atmosphere. Really like the tom yum
Excellent food every time no matter what we order. Tu is a wonderful server. Highly recommend!!!
Best Thai food in Bellevue! And amazing drinks.
I was recently introduced to this place and I think it’s amazing!

The food was awesome. The iced tea is definitely special taste. I like this restaurant. We may come again sometime.
Good food and ambiance.
Unfortunately tonight I had the worst dining experience I've had in a long time.
The server showed face twice for the entire time. One to show us to the table and the second to bring tea which was room temperature.
They didn't bring us water until I requested it after 15 minutes from a different server. Every-time they brought something to the table they would rushedly turn right back around before we had the chance to bring up any of the problems.
The pad Thai was extremely sweet and not spicy at all. I found it unbelievable it came with a side of sugar because it was the sweetest thing I've tasted in a while haha.
I requested to send the pad Thai back and get a different dish instead after only taking a couple of bites. This older lady who was brought to the table (I assume she is the manager) told us they couldn't do anything about it, all sales are final.
She told us they don't bring guests water unless requested... which is far from the truth as we watched 3 other tables get water upon arrival or right before that! They also never brought bowls for our soup, she responded to that saying that people will eat their soup straight out of the pot... unbelievable. I saw other people having soup and they had bowls for it.
Unfortunately a very poor dinning experience. I was having a great day up until we sat in Fern Thai on Main. We didn't feel taken care of, service was rushed and inattentive. Surely the worst pad Thai I've tasted.

I ordered curry salmon, and they delivered half cooked salmon, completely pink inside. Asked them to re cook the salmon for me, instead the guy puts it in the microwave and brings it back to me. Terrible attitude! I ended up both paying for my salmon and not having it
Don't come here solo, waitress will completely ignore you. Watched her walk all the way down her row of tables to mine at the end over & over again, 8 or 9 times while I tried to make eye contact every single time. She didn't even look at me, like I didn't even exist. You've got ONE MORE table, here, honey! No idea what I did to piss her off, I literally never spoke to her and someone else took my order and brought the food anyway. She filled up my water, once, and my "thank you" was met with an icy silence.
Later I could not sit there hoping to be noticed any longer and I raised my voice slightly to say "ma'am" while she had her back to me as usual at the table next to me. She looked shocked! I asked for extra napkins, and said I had been trying to get her attention. She just stared at my like a deer in thr headlights. Zero apology. She brings me back one napkin. One small paper napkin, all by itself. I had to go inside and ask for the check myself as well as a box, she was busy cleaning off tables and putting chairs on top of them at 9pm, when they don't close until 10. Didn't even look at me or register I'd gotten up to get the bill myself. Wouldn't bother me so much, but she was giving excellent customer service to every other table, asking if they needed anything and even chatting with them. Maybe she didn't like my outfit. I didn't deserve to be treated that way. If I wanted to get up and get everything myself, I would have ordered takeout.
Solo parties don't tip badly, but very often servers ignore them, and the service doesn't deserve a good tip! Please hire new waiters who actually WANT to be a server and aren't off in their own little world.
Horrible experience owner should know what is happening
Beef and rice want good. The sauce they gave me with it smelled foul, and tasted even worse. Portion was small and the beef wasn’t tender and didn’t taste good. The crab wontons were AMAZING, which is why they got two stars.
Had to send back a dish for food preference and without a doubt replaced it with an alternative option. Very good customer service.
I recently dined at Fern Thai on Main in Bellevue and had a fantastic experience. The Thai iced tea was delicious, perfectly sweetened and refreshing. The pork satay was tender and flavorful, a great start to the meal. I tried the pepper chicken, which was well-seasoned and satisfying. The highlight for me was the half bird fried chicken with panang sauce—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, complemented by the rich, aromatic sauce. The fried rice was a great accompaniment, tying all the flavors together. Overall, the portions were generous, and the quality of the food was excellent 4/5. I highly recommend Fern Thai for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Thai cuisine.
Came to the restaurant 15 min before close oour server name : Bonus, she was amazing. She was kind and sit us right away was amazing. The food was spectacular. We came randomly. We choose spring rolls, fish cakes, roast duck curry, and less than 10 minutes. The food was in our table . It was a spectacular. I recommend this place .
Outstanding! Our local family took us here while we were visiting. Some of the best Thai food ever!
Our server MHU was excellent! We recommend this place!!!
The older Asian lady working at the front is very mean, they used to have a lot of younger girls who were nice, I wonder why this new person is at the door, she is unpleasant (5pm on July 28th 2024, Sunday)
This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant, especially for their top-notch Pad Thai. Unfortunately, the quality has declined, and now most of the dishes are overly salty. On a positive note, the waitstaff is attentive, always ensuring our water glasses are filled, and the food is served quickly.
Don't go by their operating hours. If you go at 9.16 for a 10PM close time, they will say the restaurant is closed for new orders
We really like the food here, its consistently good!!
Update in July 2024: A bit sad to see the quality is in decline. Cashew Chicken and Pad Thai is too salty. At least the waiter tops up our water very frequently.
Really tasty and affordable Thai. Everything was delicious and liked the casual atmosphere. Definitely a place to come back to.
Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Best in Seattle for sure. Food is so good you will wish you ordered 3x even though you are so full from the first entree because portions are big. Better than the other really good Thai spot in Fremont.
This is one of if not the best Thai place in Washington. Holy cow it's good. We tried many different items on the menu (pineapple fried rice, garlic chicken, panang curry, spring rolls, pad see ewe) and all were delicious. This place makes panang curry the way it is supposed to be made!! Highly recommend and we will absolutely be back.
The green curry is super good! And you can customize your spice level
The Food here is top notch and located conveniently in Old Bellevue. Service is fine but not incredible. The drinks are solid. Parking is generally on the tougher side to find here as it is street parking in a busy part of town.
My husband Lee and I stumbled into Fern Thai and it was WORTH it. Even on a busy Sunday lunch rush, we were immediately seated (and everyone was so kind).
We got two tasty and strong drinks by the lovely bartender, the Sangria (which was excellent) and the Thai Old Fashion (which came smoking).
For lunch we had the spring rolls, the Choo Chi Salmon (4 stars), the Crispy Garlic Chicken (2 stars), Sticky Rice and Green beans.
We’ve eaten a lot of Thai food, but this was sooo good and so fresh! Also, even though it was really busy, everyone had such a kind and pleasant demeanor. We can’t wait to go back!
I came for dinner as a party of 4 around 5:30 on a Saturday evening. We were able to be seated right away, but this place isn't as authentic as I would have liked. They didn't have chopsticks on the table or any condiments. We got level 4/5 spice on most of our dishes, but they definitely were not spicy. The place has a nice atmosphere and the food is decent flavor wise, but it kind of bothered me that there were no fans because it was a bit humid in the restaurant and there were flies landing on the plates and food.
Pros:
- Yelp check-in offer for 10% off your bill
- They accept Apple Pay
- Parking wasn't too hard to find
Cons:
- Service could have been better because it was very hard to check up on my order that was missing.
- I ended up having to cancel my entree order (Talay Phad Cha) because everyone else in my party had finished, but thank goodness I had ordered entrees or else I would have been starving
Food is amazing and service is great, but their suggested tip amount is based on the post-tax total which feels like a bit of a scam
The food was great aside from a little error of having the curry low tempt. The waitress did not address her name nor didn’t have a kind attitude. The receptionist was the same. Be kind and courteous I would say because it goes a long way.
Read the 1 star reviews. Really rude customer service from the manager herself. She clearly should not be working in this industry or should at least get some training.
My husband's cocktail glass had 2 huge cracks which he didn't notice until almost done with the drink. We shouldn't have to worry about drinking out of cracked glasses. And we definitely didn't deserve the bad attitude from the manager.
On top of this, after having dinner here, my stomach really hurts which is puzzling since I eat Thai food all the time. Needless to say, we will not come back nor do we recommend this place.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. I just went here for dinner for the first time.
I ordered a drink and noticed that there were two major cracks on my glass. The manager came over and did not apologize. She came over with the check...I asked what she can do to make things right (primarily because she didn't apologize or make an effort to understand the situation and rectify it at all). She asked me what else I wanted her to do, which really took me by surprise. She continued to seem surprised that i was upset.
The manager's name tonight was Gol, so if you are the owner or store manager of this location seeing this poor review, I would do extensive customer service training with her in how to deal with an unhappy customer.
It's not about the money, it's about the horrible attitude that we received.
My wife and I got a babysitter for the night. We went out trying to have a nice Friday night dinner and a good time after a long week.
On Main Street with the vibe of the old town restaurants around, the food is average not extraordinary that I would recommend this restaurant for Thai food.
We were there during a hotter day, and the restaurant didn’t have AC on, the room was stuffy, when we walked in we all smell strong restroom cleaning bleach…. With AC would feel better in there.
4 of as got 1 person food much more advanced and just waited another 10 minutes for other 2 dishes and another 5 minutes for the last dish. I could have finished my dish already…
We all think the food was ok, dishes were on salty side. I got mango salad which taste was good, but surprisingly the dish is somewhat between room temperature and cold some hot stuffs in there. Mongo could be cut more evenly.
Decoration creates the atmosphere and there is a small courtyard seating.
Service: the front desk on Saturday night was very rude to my husband with her tone when he hadn’t done or said anything rude to her. We waited 15 minutes to be seated and she proceeded to tell us she didn’t have a high chair for our baby right now expecting us to use our stroller and she left. She never brought a high chair when it’s available. We had to ask other staff to bring it. She must be owner’s daughter or relatives to be acting like this to customers.
Food: Hat Yai chicken was very dry although the roti and curry that came with it tasted good. Klua Kling was very bland we got 4 stars but it tasted like no stars. Kor moo tod rad manaw was good.
Love it!
Okayish food, but not okayish price.
They have wide range of Thai food. The food was just average, but compare to the taste, it was overpriced.
The restaurant was busy, but the staffs were nice enough. However, due to large number of customers, they were not attentive.
To be fair, the location and atmosphere were great.
Awesome place for Thai Food.
This is this is my clients absolute favorite Thai restaurant and I can see why. Daniel and Nicole are planning their wedding and meeting here for dinner and some planning was wonderful. They are very busy so calling ahead is a good idea but they cut that off at a certain point. We had crunchy garlic chicken, pad Thai, fresh rolls with prawn, and the mango salad.
If you took a break from eating out and ate whole foods then went here for treat, your stomach may not be so happy. It feels like I just ate at a fancy fast food restaurant. Everything is so oily, salty, and fried. Even the roti made me sick. I had to throw out the food honestly. I know it’s a waste but I felt sick after eating it.
Amazing food, the duck curry was interesting and rewarding in flavor, I think the dish is very accomplished. Waitress who assisted us was very accommodating and nice. The food pricing wasn't bad at all considering the location and portion amounts. Definitely give it a try!
I was in Bellevue for 10 days. I tried some restaurants around and definetely Fern Thai was the best one. The food was amazing. The service was amazing (Golf, the manager, by the way, was so sympathetic and friendly). I ate there several times, almost always trying a new dish. All of them were excelent. I felt very well received there. I recommend and definetly, having the change, will be back there to eat again.
Delicious
Food is okay. Service is not. Host is unfriendly and not helpful.
10 minutes after eating here. My 90 yr old father had a $1500 fraudulent charge on his credit card. Employees are thieves!!! Don't go here!!!!
Papaya salad was the worst I’ve ever had. We weren’t checked in on once. Food gave me a headache, maybe too much MSG. Overrated. I don’t know how this place has good reviews. Unfriendly staff.
Ordered:
Lychee Rita
2 Fresh Rolls
Pork Satay (Boran)
Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice
Crispy Garlic Chicken
Mango Salad w/Shrimp
Kow Soi
The drink was EXCELLENT, although not full, only 3/4 filled. Not acceptable for a cocktail.
Spring Rolls were fresh but the peanut sauce was not my favorite.
Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice was super tasty but a tad too greasy. Would have liked to see more pineapple, cashews and chicken added for the price per dish.
Skewers were excellent and the peanut sauce served with the pork screwers was actually pretty good (different from the fresh rolls).
My favorite was their mango salad with shrimp! Super refreshing, tangy and spicy.
Wasn't a fan of the crispy garlic chicken. Far too much breading.
The Kow Soi was gobbled up! 5 stars there for sure.
Overall, the food is a hit or miss, depending on what is ordered.
The service was okay. Our waitress wasn't invested in serving guests or checking in once food was ordered and delivered to the table, we had to ask for water refills and the only time we saw her again was to drop off the check.
I probably won't be going back and sticking to those Thai places closer to home or Journey's East at the Tulalip Casino. 😂
避雷。美式泰餐,要吃吐了。
The food is made for Americans, not for Asians. I guess you know what I mean.
The food was too salty and the staff was rude.
The food was very mediocre. We ordered the Salmon with Herbs - the fish was not fresh, very flaky, and the Fresh rolls didn't have the freshest veggies in them. The penang curry was quite nice though.
I've heard the restaurant for long. Finally here!!!
We ordered:
🦆Roast Duck Curry - I like the lychee inside! Duck tastes good.
🥩Chiang Mai Sausage & E-sarn Sausage - Mix of sausage in Northern area and Northeastern areas of Thailand. Worth a try. I will not order it again.
🦪Pad Kee Mao Seafood - Delicious!!! Seafood is a lot!
🍢Moo Ping - Pork skewer. Tastes good!
We went with family that live close by for lunch. It was busy but we got a table for six almost immediately. Outside we were able to bring our young puppy to the outside table and the weather was absolutely perfect. The service was excellent and very friendly. The atmosphere was equally great. The food was well prepared and we didn’t have to wait long. This was the best Thai food we’ve had and that includes the food we’ve had in Thailand. An absolutely fantastic restaurant that I recommend highly. The staff was great and the manager does an amazing job. Bravo!
Wow! Bonus and Pei did an amazing job on a crazy busy Friday night! The food was also great. I can recommend the Phad See Eew with beef and the fried chicken, curry, and roti!
The food was not out of this world but not terrible. The veggies were fresh. I paid $40 (after tip) for two appetizers. I got the fish cakes (which I do not believe were made in house) and the different types of region sausages (there were three types apparently but there was really only two flavor differences). It was exactly how much I would expect to pay for two appetizers in Bellevue. The location was nice.
What a darling place to go with friends, family or even on a date. The food is great, the sitting is cozy and servers are helpful & quick. My staple from their menu are fried tofu, tom yum soup, pad kee mao and thai iced coffee. I went with a large group, and we ordered a lot of veg/meat items from menu (like everything) and it was all good. I heard no misses.
Hundred percent recommend it!!!
Not a great experience with service and food taste.
