Fresh. Authentic. Friendly. Yindee Thai offers dine-in, delivery, carryout and catering to NOVA food lovers.
Great local option for decent Thai.
Overall the food is alright and serving sizes are generous. Really enjoyed the spring rolls and most of the entrees. The spice level is dialed back a bit from what I might expect when the menu has a pepper symbol next to it but the flavors were still there. The Thai iced tea and coffee were both delicious.
The interior is clean and well designed and the staff is friendly and attentive.
My wife and I took a chance on dining. We were extremely happy we did! Long story short - awesome! We tried their lunch menu and several appetizers. Everything was reasonably priced. This is a great place for date night, or a small gathering of friends or family dinner. In our opinion, this is authentic Thai food. Very well balanced in both taste, texture and presentation. They have an extensive menu. Appetizers average about $10.00, lunch average is about $15.00, dinner average is about $20.00. But, it is well worth it. Some people may be concerned the level of spice. They are very accommodating. I recommend order the food as prepped and ask for a spice tray. Weather permitting, outside seating is available. Very clean, including the bathroom. They have a very well stocked bar. We are sorry we took so long to dine there. This is our #1 place for Thai.
Service and location were great. I love green curry but felt that this one was water down and not as creamy and thick as I’ve had before at other Thai restaurants. I’m sure other dishes are amazing. I would go back and try a different dish. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area 😊
There are very reasonably priced lunch specials during the week, but five of us decided to share four entrees and an appetizer. We wouldn't order the Garden Rolls ($20 for two orders) again because the 8 pieces were disappointingly small. The Kindee Thai Hot Plate ($20) was good, but wasn't served sizzling and the beef was a little tough. The Panang Chicken Curry ($15) and Pad Thai Squash Medley ($18) were both very good. Our favorite was Crispy Basil Duck ($20). Everything considered, it was a nice variety of good food at a reasonable price of $20 each.
- the pad see ew was pretty good. Everything seems pretty fresh and has a decent flavor.
- ordered to go so not sure about the staff or service.
- prices are normal for the area.
- didn't go inside so I can't speak on the cleanliness of the place.
- overall not a horrible first episode.
Hidden Thai Gem in a Strip Mall
This small, cozy Thai spot in a strip mall is a real surprise. The wonton soup—often underwhelming elsewhere—was incredible, with rich broth and tender wontons. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done.
The warm décor and friendly service made it even better. If you’re craving authentic Thai food, don’t pass this place up!

Has always been good this time we got a green curry and their Yindi pad Thai. They can make nearly every meal gluten-free and the servers seem knowledgeable about gluten allergies.

The food was superb and the staff were extremely helpful with my gluten sensitivity! They provided a wonderful guest experience overall, with fantastic decor to boot.
Order through Uber, shrimp pad thai, crab ragoon and fried rice with pork, everything was great! Large portions and fresh!
Small, Thai bistro with bar. Wonderful lunches and great dinners with large menu. I had Thai beef sizzling skillet--like a Thai fajita skillet. My wife had fried rice with pineapple, chicken and shrimp served in a half pineapple shell. They also have creative cocktails
Great experience!! We really enjoyed the authentic Thai food! Our server, Ann is awesome!!
This place is new to us, but we've already been there about five times! Ann makes the best Mai Tai you will ever have! All the food is authentic and delicious.
Food is amazing, service is fast, and the food came out really fast too, try their fried rice
Great local option for decent Thai.

The place was very clean and the restaurant looks nice overall. My family ordered the pad thai and the cabbage stir fry while I ordered the drunken noodle. The food was very good and they gave us generous portions, especially for the price. The waitress was nice and answered any questions that we had. The wait time wasn't long either, the three dishes came out in a span of 10 minutes. Overall we left with a good experience. Will come back here if I ever have a craving for Thai food.
ordered a simple chicken pad thai - completely disappointed and had no taste
Very clean and cute space with nice service. I stopped by for lunch and had a yummy plate of drunken noodles. My little test to determine if Thai places are legit is to ask for Thai spicy. And this one was SPICY. And delicious.
Great place to meet up and talk over some good food.
Best Crab Rangoon I’ve ever had
Called and ordered pickup of Tom Yum soup w/Shrimp and Spicy Tamarind Tilapia; both items were fantastic, really enjoyed the favor of the tilapia and the sauce. Definitely will have again.
One of the best thai restaurant I have tried. Thank you
Delicious massaman curry and Tom kha soup
Takeout was ready fast. My curry was ok. My wife’s drunken noodles were not great. Her dish was layered into the bowl so that the noodles all stuck together in the bottom, with chicken in the middle and vegetables on top. The flavors never melded and the dish was bland (HOW DO YOU MAKE BLAND THAI FOOD). The vegetables were also super big… who wants to eat a 2 inch long green onion? (see picture) The eggplant in my curry was the same way, huge chunks. They may have had an off night, but with so many good Thai places in the area we won’t be rolling the dice here again.
The Thai grilled chicken was delicious.

Good service and good food with large quantities. They had good hygiene and the bathrooms were clean too.
Very friendly, food was fantastic.

The interior of the restaurant is good, kind and clean. However, the food was not so good compared to the high price.
Sooooo good and comforting!!!
Wonderful service and food.
Check your bill before paying. It seems they like to round up a buck or two per dish. Plus a $10 canned Sapporo.. Really?
Chicken Satay looked undercooked. Tom Kha soup was very thin and way too sour.
Food is authentic and delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Loved the Yum Nua.
Had the seafood pad Thai this week and it was amazing. The food is always great and the service is wonderful. Able to get in and out for my lunch hour. Patio seating is very pleasant.
If your order online you'll be forced to use Doordash, though the website doesn't explicitly say it's Doordash. The estimated time for pick up was over 30 minutes after ordering, but the food had to have been sitting there quite a while because it was basically cold when I got home.
Crispy shrimp appetizer was pretty good, but $9 for 4 shrimp is wild. Pad thai with chicken was okay. Pad see Ew (chicken and veggie) tasted sour, especially the baby corn which definitely came from a can and wasn't ever heated enough not to be able to taste that.
This is one of our local favorites! We normally get the curry, but all the dishes we’ve tried have been great. The variable spice levels are nice, and let you dial in the spice level to your own comfort.
First time eating here with my family. Food was expensive, the portions were little, and the quality was not that great. We were not impressed given the quality, price and portions. Not a repeat customer.
3.5 stars. Food was okay although pricey for the amount given and the quality. The Pad Thai was bland but they did provide a generous amount. Crab Rangoon was surprisingly generous with the filing and good.
Mango sticky rice was okay. The sticky rice had just the right amount of coconut taste and sweetness but if the mango itself was sweet (it was tasteless) then the desert would have been great.
This was our first time eating here and trying a different Thai restaurant. However, we will continue going to our reliable place in Kingstowne.
Very nice place to eat, I wish the the portions were just a little bit larger, but the waiters were very nice and helpful.
Decent fairly priced food with so-so service.
The food was horrible.
First experience with Thai food for me. I gotta say they knocked out of the park. Had a couple expertly made Thai Mojitos and finished with their deep fried cheesecake.
Everyone was super friendly and everything was very clean.
We'll be seeing you again real soon!
The service and food is wonderful and full of flavor. The staff is very attentive and helpful.
My first time. Very few customers yet service was slow. My crispy basil with duck could have been any thing, only tasted basil.
No checks for water refills.
Seemed to be too occupied with carry out.
I was disappointed.
Ordered pad Thai and soft shell crab yellow curry. The order settings on the UberEATS app were confusing as you would have to pick a spicy level. I chose " regular" thinking that would be how the dish regularly be prepared. But it actually means level 3 spicy. I'm not sure if there is a way to work around this except for calling them.
The softshell crab had a subtle fishy smell, but tasted okay.
Papaya salad and curries are my go-to. I have been to Thailand and this place is the real deal!!! AMAZING!! 🌶 Spicy and not Farang-compromised ;)
My mom is a big fan of Thai food specifically Pad Thai. So we decided to take her to try out Yindee Thai's lunch special!
While entering service was very fast, we got the Pad Thai Pork Lunch Special Spice level 1 and Pad Thai Shrimp Lunch Special Spice Level 3.
When ordering with the lunch special you get a spring roll. The Spring roll wasn't bad, but not amazing. It was provided a nice texture to the overall meal.
The Pad Thai came out pretty fast, a bit unusual since the eggs were on top of the pad thai instead of being mixed in. The Pad Thai was good though I liked how it was sweet, and just spicy enough for me.
Overall, the lunch special was definitely worth it, and I would come back to get it again. I recommend what ever spice level you think about getting go 1 under. Since the Pad Thai spice level 3 was too spicy for my mom, so she ended up sharing with my sister.
Been here a few times for my Thai urges. Great service and with amazing food to match. I ordered the pad see ew and it was phenomenal. Meat was tender and was served with chinese broccoli which I prefer. I also tried their Tum Yum Noodle soup and this thing was amazing. The bowl was huge and the very flavorful. I would highly recommend you try the noodle soup. Once again a great lil place with amazing service.
This restaurant is wonderful. I was in town for the week and wanted to try Yindee Thai. The food was excellent, great service and easy parking. Their specialty “Yindee” style Pad Thai and Fried Rice are excellent.
Have not been here in a while and thought I would give it another try... Super unhappy.
do not get the crispy duck..cold..old deep fried.
very dissapointed
I don't mind spending money on dinner but $75 is down the drain
Didn't really like the curry and the waitstaff left something to be desired.
Great place. Food is fabulous and the entire staff is friendly and genuinely sweet. Highly recommend.
The food was horrible and not what I had asked for. It was not worth the high price. And the manager was rude and unwelcoming. So cold and wouldn’t even smile. Never going here again.
Atmosphere is clean and nice. However, food is bland and the price is too high to be worth it.
Out all day running errands, we decided to get some Thai food for a late lunch. We ordered Crispy Basil Duck, Drunken Noodles with chicken instead of chewy beef, and Chicken Satay. Never order beef. They used the lowest quality beef. The dishes are delicious. However, if you love eating ducks, then Crispy Basil Duck is not what you would expect, nor does it traditionally cook Basil Duck. The Basil and duck are fried. You won't taste the duck at all. If you want a Basil Duck, this is not a suitable dish to order. Otherwise, a decent Thai Food to enjoy with good services.
The yellow curry was the best!!
Service was great and the food was really delicious especially red curry and fried rice.
Great food, generous servings, good service, broad menu. Prices ok, but not out of line given the state of the economy.
Nice food and nice inside decor.
BUT PRICE IS PRETTY HIGH THAN FOOD.
CLALMARY APPITZER $15 and mango sticky rice $10??? Sorry to much.
Very solid Thai place
A Thai restaurant which we have gone to many times. They have good food and excellent service. A very attractive space with contemporary design with an Asian influence in a shopping strip at the intersection of Rolling Road and Old Keene Mill Road in West Springfield. Lots of parking. Indoor seating and also 3 outdoor tables as well. Our favorite menu items are the pad Thai (chicken and shrimp), spring rolls, and chicken satay.
Lunch portion drunken noodles with extra chicken. Reasonable price, super delicious.
We love the food at Yindee Thai! The restaurant is cozy & charming. The staff are friendly and service is great. We often order Pad Thai with chicken & shrimp. The best I've ever eaten, always fresh and hot. In fact, all dishes are well prepared. Very reasonably priced.
DELICIOUS!
I tried Yindee for lunch yesterday, and had an awesome pineapple fried rice dish with shrimp and chicken. I ate outside on a beautiful clear and crisp day, which seemed to mirror the dish I ordered—had a fresh made, delicate balance of flavor and medium heat spice. Waitresses are friendly and super responsive. When I went inside to use the restroom, the place was light, airy, and super clean. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience! I’ll be back!
Food was good and prepared incredibly quick. Worth noting that their dining space closes at 8pm if you were hoping for table service.
My orders of the sweet and spicy Wings and, drunken noodles, were delicious and received the two thumbs up approval of my hard to bargain with kids.
I’m a regular here, and it’s the best Thai place in town. The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing. The portions are big enough to eat half and take home some for leftovers. They always get the food out within minutes of ordering. I haven’t tried anything I didn’t like!
Good food
Great drinks and food!
You walk in to a perfectly air condition building that is ornately decorated and in the center of the room is a large bar. We ordered our food to go from the bar area. No more than 15 minutes later my Chicken Pad Thai was packed up. Food was delicious, lots of flavor, perfect portion (lunch size) I was able to have so much left over that it lasted me to dinner. Will definitely return.
I am not sure what all the raving is about. I ordered Tom Kha and Pad Thai. The soup was overly salty and the sliced chicken breast in it was over cooked. Pretty sad when chicken is dry in a soup. We poured most of the soup down the drain. The Pad Thai was good (I especially like the minced chicken option) so I upped the review from 2 to 3 (can’t do a half star), but honestly my daughter in law makes better Pad Thai at home. A bit better than just ok.
Yellow curry with shrimp at Yindee Thai is 4 stars compared with Thai at Waugh Chapel which is 5+ stars.
Stopped in today as a lot of our favorite places closed due to COVID rules. I was skeptical since there was no one there. The service was outstanding and food quality. At least 20 people came in for pick up orders while we were there. Although we were the only in store customers there was a lot of activity. Will certainly be back.
I love the quality and the cleanliness!!!! Food is exceptional 😋 👌 🙌 😍
Great food! Friendly staff! Clean environment!
Great food and remained open during the release of the Covid19 bioweapon.
Great food, great wine and great service.
I had originally given them five stars as we had ordered from then during the early COVID days many times and they had appeared to respond to my no soy sauce requests (I'm gluten free) and the food was good and nice size portions. Then I place an order and all of a sudden they can't do that even for dishes they've done it for before. They also made it hard to cancel the order and wouldn't do anything to help me find an alternative. I was able to get the order cancelled but I'll never try again when there are other places who are happy to help.
Not sure how they have 4.5 stars? Very, very average. The pad Thai was not made fresh, flavorful at all, asked for spicy and got no spice (no chili flakes on the meal at all), basically it was like eating noodles with no sauce. Good service though and nice/clean restaurant!
Good food. Good Service. Good Environment.
Delicious crispy pad Thai. Nice restaurant and staff.
Like this place a lot. Great food and reasonable prices. Only thing they lack is selections for the kids. Give it a try!
Delicious Thai food, drunken noodles is great but definitely try the Sweet & Spicy Wings! It's amazing!
Loved the drunken noodles.
Good massaman Curry and friendly service
Excellent service and great food. Would highly recommend
Best food best service
Good Food
Good food. Good service. Had the yellow curry, very tasty, would definitely recommend.
Very tasty, higher end thai food. A bit more expensive than other places, but if you want a nicer experience or a great date place, this is it.
Tried this place for lunch. Plenty of choices on the menu. Service was excellent. I had the Larb salad. It was lovely. Lunch portion sizes were perfect. I would recommend giving this place a try. The had a sign for grub hub.
Cannot even take the order properly. Language issue and we ordered ginger broccoli in Thai sauce and we got steamed veggies. We ordered spicy basil fried rice and we got rice and veggies separate. Will never recommend ever. My 1st and last visit.
The drunken noodles are a go-to there...the vegetable soup was the perfect size for an appetizer
I really like this place and I go there frequently. Very good food and service.
Lots of delicious choices! Also great cocktails and super nice staff. Also a delightful time
Great service, good food, friendly staff
Very good actors and very believable Asian accents
This is a good neighborhood Thai restaurant! Good food and drinks! Pretty interior too. Attentive service.
Fantastic!
Serene atmosphere. Attentive staff. Powerful curry. Crispy pad Thai was great! Coming back.
Incredible food and excellent customer service! I have been ordering takeout from them for years and they ALWAYS do an outstanding job.

As a lover of Thai food I must say this place is definitely on my top 3 list for best Thai food! The location is gorgeous and the staff is extremely nice and accommodating! Great experience!!!
Very good quality! Every dish I (and husband) have had the few times we've been here were very good. Kind servers, clean & quiet restaurant. Only complaint is sometimes slightly understaffed on "bigger" nights, Friday/Saturday
Visiting from out of town and we love Thai food. We were expecting flavorful food and a good menu. Instead, everything was bland. No flavor and borderline bad. For some reason this place is packed but I’m not sure why. Good concept bad execution.
Love the ambiance. Food is always good. Fresh.
Food was good. Employees very nice
The place is very clean and has friendly, attentive staff, but the pad thai I had was somewhat oily and flavorless. I much prefer the food at Thai Ghang Waan, but please take my review with a grain of salt as I've only tried this one dish.
Best Thai restaurant in the area! It’s simply a hidden gem. We make our way here every Saturday and they never disappoint. The restaurant is clean, quaint and the atmosphere is inviting. The service is excellent and the food is fabulous! I love the Pad wood sen, golden shrimp and my husband loves the curry and satay. We will miss this place when we have to move.
Pad thai special was a different twist than the normal dish. These guys are creative!
Good Thai!
Delicious! Tried the massuman curry and it’s SO good. Have tried a few other things as well and everything has been really good. Prices are comparable to others in the area. Have not dined in- only Carey out and delivery via Uber eats and it’s been hot and pretty quick every time! Definitely worth checking out
They have the BEST curries in the area.
I have never had such a bad service experience in my entire life. I reserved a table for a birthday celebration. The service was absolutely horrible. My party and I waited 40 minutes for our appetizers that never came (until I specifically inquired about them, only then did the waitress tried to apologize). We ended up canceling the appetizers (we were hungry and just wanted our main dishes), but she brought them out anyway and said they were on the house. The appetizers were still cold, like they were left out for about 30 minutes (interesting). After finishing up, we ended up waiting even MORE time for our main dishes. My party and I tried to get the attention of several servers, but none of them seemed to be looking in our direction (how convenient, I felt ignored and at this point we started getting very annoyed). Finally our waitress started to deliver our main dishes about 5 to 10 minutes apart from each other. By the time the first person finished their dish I haven’t even received my plate yet. After we all finished, we just wanted the check and to leave, but we couldn’t because we made the mistake earlier to let the waitress take the cake (THAT WE BROUGHT) to cut and bring back to us. WE WAITED FOR ANOTHER 15 minutes for her to come out with the cake (GUESS WHAT? IT WASN’T EVEN CUT YET). We FINALLY got our check and left after that. This place has terrible service, don’t book celebrations here. It completely ruined my mom’s birthday. I will NEVER return even if someone paid me to. I do not recommend this place. DON’T go here if you are looking for a good experience. Also their food is white-washed (not authentic at all) and wasn’t even good. The only good thing about this place was that the servers weren’t rude.
Well...I don’t know where to begin. It’s so relaxing in here and the drinks are great. Food is art here and everything on the menu is full of immense flavor. It was like a mini vacation. Green curry and duck curry are great. Keep it up!
Good food, good service.
I struggled with this ranking... Probably 3.5. The food was pretty good but the service was extremely slow. I definitely recommend adding another server or two. My wife and I had the crispy spring rolls for an app, which tasted good. We also had the same entree... Chicken Yellow Curry. I was impressed with the large portions and the creaminess/spiciness of the curry, but there were way too many onions. The white rice was cooked perfectly.
My Wife and I when to this Restaurant for our first time. Great service Great Food. Very nice clean place, very happy with the food and service. 👍👍
Helpful, attentive servers. This was our first time there and they took extra time to show us the picture menu and make some recommendations. We very much enjoyed exploring some new flavor combinations. I look forward to going back.
Good experience
Great food at comparable prices to other Thai restaurants in the area. Good quick service but the food is very hot. One visit I had to exchange a medium dish my daughter couldn't eat and the next visit I was still sweating with a mildly spicy request. Saturday dinner was rather busy but not overcrowded with almost every table seated inside and out but as I said the food arrived promptly.
It's hard to find great food in this area, and I have never been disappointed by YT. Delicious food every time we order !
Great food and service! The fried flounder is the best! Thank you Nattasha!
I came inside to order to go and I was waiting in the line, thats when the waitress moved around me and helped some customers that just entered! She looked at me smiling, i didnt bother to smile. I dont understand why would people rate this place 5 stars! Lol they're liars!!! Their hospitality is horrible.
What a disappointment. The Chicken pad Thai was so bland, and the chicken was very dry. I have never had pad Thai with such short noodles before. I feel that for $12, I should have had more chicken and a lot more flavor. I will not be returning.
A great little neighborhood Thai place. Good food, great service. Clean and bright. Enjoy it very much.
-edit- they now offer delivery through uber eats.
Great local place for Thai food! Service was excellent and the food is fantastic! Definitely a must try.
Hidden gem of suburbia DC! It's got DC atmosphere, DC cuisine (somewhat better actually) but without the cement hustle and ridiculous pricetags. Great staff that cater to your every need and solid offerings, including seasonal shifts in flavors.
The food is a cut above.
