Staff were friendly, if a bit disorganized. The food came out quickly once the order went in.
The Red Curry (bowl) tasted good. My friend got it with the spice level at 1 so there was just a bit of heat. (you can get the spice level up to 5)
The sauce in the Pineapple Chicken had good flavor, but I found the chicken almost overcooked. It was hard to chew and kind of dry with crunchy bits to it.
The coffee was really good tho. I really enjoyed it. Overall, I'm not sure it was worth the price, tho I'd like to try it again sometime, just in case it was just a bad day.
The service was friendly but not overly attentive. It did appear to be somewhat short staffed when I was there. The atmosphere was pleasant with the typical ornate and random decorations of a Thai diner found in the U.S.
I had the spring rolls, papya salad, and the Sawadee Special.
The spring rolls were served hot and crispy and neatly garnished. They were a little light on the filling, but overall, they were as expected.
The papya salad is probably large enough for two to share as a side dish. I would have liked a little more papya and fewer carrots in the papya salad, but otherwise, it was good.
The Sawadee special was quite different from the type of Thai food I usually order. The portion was large, and it had a robust tangy flavor with a hint of lemon grass (I think) that I found enjoyable. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I do recommend trying it.
First time visiting and was very happy with the food and service. The hostess/ waitress Z is amazing, friendly and polite. Will definitely be back.
Food was AMAZING. Service was meh. I was with a party of 3 adults and 1 child. I ordered an appetizer and a meal. The three people with me had their meal before I even got my appetizer about 40 minutes after placing the order. Asked for a refill, the server took my cup and never brought it back. I finished my meal while waiting for him to come back with the refill so by that point I didn't need a drink anymore. I didn't want to distract him from his other tables so I didn't bother him further about the refill. 3 stars because the server was very nice and the food was great, although the portion was not worth the cost. I understand expenses have gone up for everyone, but I could spend half of what my meal cost and go to a buffet. All that being said I would definitely eat here again, but I'm getting my food to go.
This restaurant is a ripoff, I ordered chicken Sawadee special it on the menu $12.95 get charged 14.95, Thai tea 3.50 charged 4.50, sticky rice 4.95 charged 5.95 plus extra 10% charge & plus tax ,It not right. I don’t think it legal . I rather the menu have new price .
It the principal & I will never ever go there again.
First time visiting and was very happy with the food and service. The hostess/ waitress Z is amazing, friendly and polite. Will definitely be back.
The food and service were good, but a 10% surcharge for a credit card payment, plus an increase in meal prices noted in menu is too costly.
Absolutely wonderful! Excellent Curry! Fast service and very good prices! Will for sure come back!

i’m ngl this place sucks. as a southeastern asian i expected way better than this mediocrity. don’t come to this place expecting this to be the standard for thai food. it would be okay if they didn’t charge an arm and leg for trash portions.
Took a long time to prepare my order. Plus for 16 dollars I wanted to see some meat
Pad thai was terrible. They charged our group a 20 dollar service charge which you would think goes to the waitress but it does not. Service charge goes to the owner, so many people are probably assuming incorrectly and the waitress gets nothing.
Miss our usual server, who was also daytime manager, the current server said she no longer works there 😔. The current servers need a lot of work, no communication between them or the customer.
I dined with the boyfriend he had the spicy fried rice with chicken. I had the yellow curry with chicken mine was delicious though the potatoes were not cooked through so I picked them out.
The spicy fried rice was delicious.
We also had the appetizer plate with egg rolls, pot stickers and wonton ragoon. It was all good and I’d go back and try some other dishes
The food is great, and the service is even better. The price is slightly on the high side and in all honesty both the chicken and beef I've had from there have been overcooked and dry as heck. I will be back though!
Best crab puffs I've ever had.
The service was outstanding, Nadia was great!
The food was tasty and good portions! I will be back!
Thank you!
Just average
Outstanding service food was awesome ❤😍
There was nothing sweet about the dessert, Sweet Mango with Sticky Rice. The Thai Tea with Boba had little boba and the boba was overcooked. This was my first time there and probably last time. Really great customer service though. Very polite and professional but the quality of my order was a disappointment.
We (3 pax) were there during the lunch hour, and we ordered regular meals with appetizers. We left in a hurry when my companion needed immediate attention. The food server was well versed and patient to the person with Alzheimer's. The server was given upwards of 25% tip. I checked my receipts a few hours after we got home to find two hidden charges, a group fee and the dining in fee. This is not cool!
Massaman curry, it DID NOT come w rice. I had to make rice personally for the curry. food was bland. I use to go here all the time before the new owners took over. This was my first time giving it another chance… never again. I spent $47 for nothing. I threw it in the trash after the first bite. I am furious, just don’t do it. I never went into a Thai restaurant that sold burgers… that was the first red flag
My wife went in yesterday and the hostess killed a cockroach right in front of my wife while it was crawling on the hostess counter. She had hair in her rice and when called to complain the person the answered the phone said thanks.
The sizes for to go are the same for dine in but the prices remain the same.
The extra charges are a rip off especially since they claim it's due to inflation but they already adjusted their food prices up. Also don't believe in the menu when you order something if it contains a meat in the meal. You will be charged an additional price for the meat.
My wife and I walk away paying an additional $15 dollars of charges. I would stay away from this place till they fix within.
Rip off! The bill ain’t adding up. The meal should have been $25 and my bill was $40! And there ramen option is literally cup noodles in brought.
Very good food and service. Quiet setting with fresh cuisine
very good Thai curry in hinesville. it is not too expensive and the portion seems just right . the waitress was very friendly. service was good and quick.
update: we were there again a few days ago. it was a very disappointing experience. maybe I haven't noticed before but it seems they now nickel and dime the customer to death. there is an extra charge for meats on lots of the items. the beef soup promised meatballs or fish balls. it came with neither. there would have been an extra charge for them (no mention about it in the menu) there was a little beef in the soup but as we got the bill there was a charge for that. again, no mention of it in the menu and we were not told about it. the siam chicken must have been overcooked. it was super dry. also some of the appetizers were a very dark brown. not burned but also not golden brown. and then there is the 10% "service charge".
I hope they improve on a large scale but this foodie is looking for other places to eat.
good luck to all other customers. I hope their experience is much better!
I ordered carry out there January 13, 2024. Spent around $110.00. The food was so dry and it had no flavor. I didn’t think you could mess up on pad Thai noodles that bad, but they did. If we would have had more time we would have brought it all back, Instead it went in the trash. Don’t think we will be going back to this restaurant. I can’t even give them one star on anything.
My family and I got the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew and it was terrible. There was not enough sauce in the Pad Thai AT ALL. It was so dry. And the Pad See Ew had no heat to it at all even though we ordered a level 5 out of 10 heat. $97 bucks waste of money. Do not recommend.
I loved their food, when I lived in Hinesville.
We ordered takeout on December 11th, 2023. We chose Red curry and yellow curry with chicken, potstickers, spring rolls, thai iced tea and thai iced coffee. Our food was ready quickly, the employee who took my order was very professional and pleasant, and every single item ordered was 10/10. We will be returning very soon!
I was hesitant to visit after the questionable reviews. But after a year I ordered takeout.
Honestly the food was terrible. The Rangoons looked like they were fried in three year old grease. The rice was mushy.
We, like others, were over charged. Safe to say I won't be back
1. Y'all need to tell people you charge for a takeout fee. I'm guessing it's $5, cause that's the only way to get my bill to $41 with what we purchased. (chicken Tom Yum, appetizer combo, kids fried rice)
***MY HUSBAND HAS THE FLU, SUCKS WE'RE PUNISHED $5 FOR DOING TAKEOUT BECAUSE HE'S SICK.***
2. CHANGE👏YOUR👏FRYER👏GREASE👏
see my pics....no explanation necessary.
3. Fried rice crazy old and mushy. See pics.
Hole in the wall but we were very pleased with the entire experience. The peanut butter brownie was unreal!
A tucked away gem. Service was spot on friendly attentive without being overbearing. The food was amazing!!! I am a foodie and this place satisfied that side of me. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for caring about your food!
I called to place a take away order for yellow curry + rice and a side of fries.
Lovely service and really informative about the prices.
Was hesitant about the reviews however I’m so glad I ordered as I love Thai food.
Yellow curry was wholesome n flavourful and you can also choose your desired spice. Fries are nothing special.
Boba tea was good, don’t recommend getting the pearls however they’re not great.
Overall satisfied
The service was phenomenal. Dami was very helpful with menu choices and entree options.
The food on the other hand…. The veggies looked like frozen not fresh and tasted as such.
The prices were way more than what I’m used to paying for Thai. I literally paid $78 for 2 entrees, an appetizer, a dessert and 3 beverages.
Fair warning, you pay extra for EVERYTHING here. Not typical at other Thai restaurants.
I won’t be going back there NLT because of the prices. The service was excellent.
Today I complained about my order. The hostess was very unprofessional. She yelled, was hostile, argumentative and disrespectful. All I wanted was to be heard, as a paying customer. I finally got tired of the hostess' ugly behavior and just left the whole order in the restaurant, losing the money I paid for the meal. Whatever happened to respect for paying customers.
Dami was our server and she took exceptional care of us tonight, quick service with drinks and order taking. Our 4 year old daughter was with us and she was a little salty but with Dami’s help we found something that she wanted to eat on the menu and so my wife and I were able to have the nice dinner experience we dearly needed. Food does take a minute to come out but that is because it is made to order and so worth the extra minute wait. This place is truly a hidden gem in Hinesville!
Again fantastic food and huge shoutout to Dami for helping us be able to enjoy our evening out.
We love this little off the path restaurant! The Laarb and Yellow Curry are my go to’s always hot, fresh, and delicious. Their spice levels are 1-10 and then 20. I’m not daring enough to go past 5 because that’s spicy for me! Lol
Dami is always our waitress, she is freaking fabulous and the owner is doing her thing in the back putting out authentic tasty dishes. Dami is so attentive, responsive, and kind when we come in. She really makes this place one of our favorites. The place is always clean when we come and has an A rating from the health department.
My 4 year old will eat the ramen (plain of course) fried rice with chicken and the curry. All yummy. Also, it’s important to note that the water is filtered not tap. Some of these restaurants in Hinesville try to pass on sink water and it makes me mad.

First time trying this establishment the Spring rolls were perfectly crisp, Pho was super flavorful , Tom yum soup was delicious, small dislike the sweet sticky rice and mango wasn't the best mangos were hard and unripe. Food still worth it also the staff was very pleasant and even helped me carry my food. I think her name was Danielle I'll be a returning costumer for sure. The atmosphere was calm and serene, nice vibe, good first impression. Thanks
Excellent service - both dining in and takeout. Pleasant and gracious staff. Highly recommend.
I've been wanting to try this Thai restaurant but was hesitant. After placing a to go order and trying the food, I should've trusted my gut...it was HIGHLY disappointing. The first red flag was when they called me and said they had no lettuce or spinach for the salmon I ordered, you would think the chef would check produce and what not being that it was almost 5 in the afternoon. Anyway, the chef suggested a bed of veggies to replace the lettuce I agreed. Salmon was overcooked, hard, and swimming in a veggie soup underneath it. Pad Thai had no flavor noodles were overcooked, and had no peanuts or even a slice of lime on the side. Crab ragoons were mediocre. Spent almost 50 bucks for this to go into the trash... Save your money and eat somewhere else.

The owner cooks yesterdays food, and it has rodents! I also know about people gettin bugs in food!!! Ask the waitress when you go!! I don’t recommend this place after my experience!!!!
Absolutely delightful experience at Sawadee Thai! The food was a true culinary delight, bursting with flavors that took my taste buds on an amazing journey. The service was nothing short of extraordinary – the staff went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was memorable. Highly recommending this gem of a place to everyone! Kudos to the entire team for their dedication to providing exceptional service and delicious cuisine.
Customer service was hands down amazing. Our server was very attentive, polite and accommodating. The food came out quickly and tasted really good. Overall a wonderful experience from start to finish! Definitely would recommend.
This is one of our only go to restaurants in Hinesville. We love the pad Thai and red and panang curry. We always have great prompt, service! We even got to chat with the chef Will on one of our visits and he was explaining how the spice levels work. If you like Thai cuisine this is the place to go in Hinesville.
Food was AMAZING! We generally eat alot of Thai food but this place has topped them all. While traveling through Georgia we stopped and decided to have some dinner, I ordered the Pad Thai and spring rolls with spicy noodles. Incredible authentic flavor with fresh vegetables and quality ingredients you can taste. Our waitress was friendly and brought out exactly what we ordered. Highly recommend, Great
Food and price's. Our only complaint is they need another location in Florida!
I don't really write reviews but for this resturant I have too. I've been coming here for years now. Let me tell you one of the best places to eat here in Hinesville. Food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. I've tried everything on this menu. Their lunch special are literally the about same portion as the dinner. From the popular crispy lime chicken to spicy pad ka prow, even the delicious Thai fried rice. Those spring rolls are absolutely to die for. The servers do a great job in keeping it clean the atmosphere in here is a vibe. Pretty decoration, and the glasses they put their boba teas in. I can't explain how much I love eating here. The owner is the sweetest and kindest person I have met. She always makes sure all her food comes out perfect. Highly recommend this 5 star resturant.
My name is Damiana Loehnert I am a server at Sawadee Thai cuisine (you can look at all the older reviews . I am making a review because of a comment I seen bashing our establishment, Renee Jenkins comment was 100% untrue . We have a A rated sanitation grade , and do run our business with nothing but the highest standards in mind. Sometimes things happen but one thing that doesn’t is reusing food. If a customer brings back food it goes in the trash and we remake it . There are no rats inside our establishment , if there was we wouldn’t be open. Our owner takes pride in this business as well as myself and other staff members . Our establishment is clean & we take pride in our customers and our service and quality of our food & cleanliness of the establishment. This person was recently terminated from the position given and is now upset and trying to harm our business with bashful comments that are far from untrue . Slandering our business and the integrity of our owner, who by the way is in this establishment every day . Please do not listen to the here say from a individual who hasn’t even worked here for a week .
Come seek the sawadee Thai cuisine experience for yourselves and you will see, not only is our establishment clean, but the staff are friendly , polite , and educated on Thai cuisine . Stop by and try !!!
Dami is back! She has always been a great person and a wonderful service professional to me with every visit. Sawadee had great food and it was a great move to bring her back.
Sawadee Thai Cuisine sells old food
Very nasty place!!! They have
roaches and rats inside the
restaurant. The owner will keep food
from the day before and resell the
next day. Also she will pick thru the
plates of food if sent back and keep
the food to sell to another customer.
There are so many health risk there
and as soon as we speak up the
owner called Keith Jenkins instead
of the police. Mr. Jenkins started
covering up all the illegal stuff by
trying to be nice to me and my
family and asking us not to all the
police.
Don't eat here because the food is
old and nasty and half the time the
chicken isn't done all the way.
So i ordered from here a hour ago and got the chicken wing dinner that came with spring rolls and fried rice. So first of all, the chicken wings were wayyyyyy over cooked and hard to chew. I tried to eat one and couldn’t and threw them all away. The sauce they tossed the wings in according to their menu is pretty drawn out like it’s something different but it wasn’t nothing but wings tossed in sweet chili sauce. It was just disgusting. The fried rice was mad salty like they poured nothing but soy sauce all over it. I paid for shrimp to go with the fried rice since it didn’t come with it, and paid 4 bucks for what I believe I received was 4 shrimp. My goodness. The spring rolls were the only thing that was edible (barely) but overall, I will not go there ever again. I wasted 30 bucks going here. Not sure if it’s just what I ordered but I do not recommend this place at all. Just disgusting.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MANGO STICKY RICE!!!!
Food was not that great.
I walked in and the place smelled like used cooking oil, then when I opened the menu, the new prices were glued papers over old prices. Terrible first impression! I should of have leave at that point, but I really like Thai food, so I gave it a chance. If I could give a 0 star to the food taste and presentation, I would. Service was the only good thing about that place. I am never coming back and will definitely not recommended to anyone.
Horrible . I honestly wouldn't recommend this place at all.. there many reports that their bugs in their food .it's mainly the cooks or chefs... the food was very old, like the rice was crunchy like I was eating chips and the charge you extra %10 for cleaning supplies and product for food .. no way I wouldn't return there ever. My wife was so upset I spent $45 on 3 meals. And it wasn't even good .maybe just a bad experience that day or something, but just be aware of what you're eating in check the food please ..back in 2019 it's was good but now 2023 June it's nasty
My family and I come here usually every Sunday after church. They provide options for those who are vegetarian and vegan as well. We love coming here and we recommend it to other families.
I wasn’t going to leave a review but the customer service was so terrible after I found a bug in my food, they said that I made it up! Im a hardworking soldier and would never lie about food for money..The nerve of this establishment. First time that I ate here I had a stomach virus and today a bug and bad diarrhea. Do not eat here!!
Why is this place only a 4.1?! The food was great.
Reviews says the pop sticker and curry was flavorless and but I tried both of those and they were DELICIOUS. So flavorful and the curry was so creamy and good.
Waitress was the sweetest I’ve ever met in my whole lifetime. She had really nice conversations with me and my family and was just entirely a sweet heart. She told us she was actually the chef.
Prices were reasonable. Overall don’t trust the bad reviews because this place was really good. Best Thai food is ever!!!!
This food was disgusting and did not resemble Thai food in any way, shape or form. I spent $15 on a combo and threw the whole plate away. What an embarrassment. I ordered the “chicken stir fry” and it tasted like reduced chicken noodle soup from a nursing home cafeteria, the rice was dry and flavorless, the egg rolls were over fried. Do not give this place a chance to disappoint you unless you like setting money on fire.
Red curry was delicious and overall a great little spot for Thai food. Especially since hinesville isnt exactly brimming with Thai spots
Reminded me of Thailand!
Love it! My favorite Thai restaurant!
Food is average+. Service good. Restaurant needs updating. Spring rolls had very little filling. Curry was good.
Closed at 7:50 when hours say 9... I guess I'll never know
Pho had a roach in the broth 1/5
Awesome place, great service and awesome food
Had great experience as always. Great Thai food and fast service. Crystal our waitress very personable and nice
If I could rate zero stars, I would. Service was unacceptable. Waitress was rude and overcharged me by $20 for my meal. When asked about the price, she tried saying it was a service charge for the staff in the kitchen. I would highly recommend anyone considering going here to reconsider. Go to Chick-fil-A and at least get some decent chicken without any attitude from a waitress in sweatpants.
Terrible . People should know not to come here . I don’t care how much you’re craving Thai food, don’t come here .
The service was awkward and a joke . The food was decent . We ended up getting overcharged at the end . Also, look out for the service charge on your receipt . The waitress explained it as a “tip for the cooks”. That should tell you what to expect from this place .
The food was okay, in terms of cost. I was a but disappointed that the chicken satay was so small for the price I paid. I also ordered a curry dish. Even though I was satisfied with the food presentation and taste, again, the price for what you paid seemed high.
Complelty unacceptable to have customers waiting 30-40 minutes to receive their food. If I wanted to wait that long I could have taken my business elsewhere. Cellphone use of employees in the dining area? Complete lack of restaurant etiquette I didn't come to dine in to hear an entire life story and argument while trying to enjoy my meal. I ordered terryaki chicken with no cabbage and received cabbage anyway. Then are we seriously charging $2.25 for a GLASS of water? What next you'll charge me for the air and ice cubes? For a friend and myself we paid just about $60 just for two dinners Tom kha soup of which I asked for a cup and received a bowl by the way. Two waters and pot stickers which weren't the best at that. Do not bother coming here a waste of time and unprofessional you'll probably die of hunger before you eat anyway. Would give a zero if I could.
Food was okay service was very bad, it was slow and still took thirty minutes to get our food. The waitress was taking personal calls to argue with someone in the dining area. Ordered two pad Thais one without eggs and eggs came in it anyway. Ordered the cup of Tom yum and received the bowl. And then had the potstickers they were okay. Be prepared to be up charged for everything possible including $2.25 each glass of water. Ended up paying $57 for the items stated above. Better off going anywhere else to get decent Thai.
Sara js the best
Waitress was great. Food not good. Very dry.
Excellent Thai.
Decent food but very pricey
Excellent ✅
First and last time dining here. Came in for dinner on the weekend. It was cold outside and inside because the server literally couldn't turn on the heat because the thermostat was inaccessible. I needed a blanket and another customer was wearing his gloves. Weird and uncomfortable dining experience. To warm up, I ordered Tom Kha soup which wasn't at all what I have enjoyed at other Thai restaurants . Later we were informed they serve Pho( what we really wanted but wasn't on the menu) but couldn't cancel the orig soup order. The pho was just ok. I decided on a basic vegetable stir fry for entree and that was also disappointing. Server was nice but seems restaurant owner is cutting TO many corners Not recommend.
I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant, the out side appearance and location really do no good for them, but as soon as you walk in the door that changes. There is such a feeling and look of culture that it is a shame the outward appearance is so unappealing. The food is amazing and is served in a high end restaurant style. The wait staff, chef and management are all 5 stars easy. There was a time that I visited when they did not have a lot of the items to make on the menu which was a real downer but what we had was still really good. Biggest things for them to work on would be to bring some of that culture to the outside and clean up the parking area, tho I understand that isnt as easy as it sounds but I know it would definitely help. Other than that I love this place. Keep up the good work.
Food is good, staff is friendly. Somehow a $9 lunch turns into $15+. I don’t mind paying for a good experience, but I’d like to know the cost upfront.
Locally recommended. Excellent authentic Thai food properly spiced. Bonus was Damicina (sp) the very competent food server. Recommend to all.
Food was good and very good service from Dami.
The service and food was phenomenal!
The food was absolutely fabulous and the waitress was very attentive.
Food was really good. Our server was awesome. She recommended the dinners we got and she was right- very tasty. All dinners can be customized to fit any dietary needs.
We got takeout this evening for my birthday and we really enjoyed the food! It was delicious. Damiana was so sweet and kind taking our order. She’s an amazing server. We will definitely be back to this place!
Spring rolls melt in your mouth and sirloin beef pepper steak was amazing. Service exquisite. I will visit there every time I'm in the area
I've eaten Togo several times over the years and NEVER had a problem (reason why they are getting 4 stars) and this time around was the worst (not getting 5 stars) i got a Togo order and the Pad Thia noodles were so dry, no flavor and no eggs. A bit disappointed....but I will try again!! LOVE their fresh spring rolls!
I love Suwadee! The food is great and Dami is an awesome server!
This is one of my fave places in town. Nice to have a little piece of home! The services And the food is alway good. It’s my guilty pleasure.
Every time I come her i get amazing service Damiana always goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and get the best meal possible. Great food Great atmosphere and Great boba.
The Ramen was amazing! The service was incredible! I throughly enjoyed my dinner☺️
The food was very delicious and server was friendly
$10 upcharge just for coming
I ordered a Thai chicken dish; $3 upcharge for chicken (huh)
They suggested a 20 percent tip-- and thoughtfully included the $10 and $3 in the sum to be tipped.
Never go there again
Did not tell the customer for price can be higher if you order. Service is horrible
The young lady who served me took my order and waited on me was one of the nicest people in the world very sweet and made me feel welcome but I hate to say the food was not desirable not what I had
Red curry is delicious. The tofu is perfectly crispy!
Love the food and staff gr8 place to go
Waitress was absolutely amazing. Super sweet, checked in regularly, and super helpful in ordering. Food was absolutely delicious! Restaurant atmosphere was beautiful. Really impressed. Absolutely recommend for locals or tourists driving through the area.
Quaint, good food 😋.
Our waitress Dami, very efficient. Knows the menu, made wonderful suggestions.
Always a new taste, worth the stop!!

We had the Chicken Pad Thai and Spicy Thai Fried Rice. They were both tasty, well flavored and fresh. We ate all we could and carried half home to eat later in the day. So good!
The room was really hot but when we asked for them to cool it off they were very accommodating and the room was much cooler within a few minutes.
Quick and cheerful service. Great experience. I would come back.
The waitress is the sweetest girl ever! I love the noodles and the curry is just phenomenal!!! I have to say that the dumplings have been the worst dumplings I have ever had tho...very hard, the outside seemed like frozen but not completely cooked or something. Everything else has always tasted great so far. I do recommend to go there, but please take the dumplings off the menu!
This is my first time eating at this restaurant. I ordered to go. The hostess was great! She was friendly and provided recommendations. I decided to try to wing special with fried rice and spring rolls. The menu said one price but I paid another. I was told they had to update the prices.. I was not impressed. The special sauce is chili sauce and the food was very dry and seemed to be reheated.
I stopped by this place for the first time yesterday and placed a to-go order. The host was friendly and gave recommendations about what to order. What I ordered was four more dollars than the price on the menu. The prices need to be updated to reflect the increase.
The food didn't take long to prepare, but then again I was the only one in there. I ordered the chicken fried rice. I can't say that it was good. It was just meh. It lacked seasoning and flavor. I had to add salt because it didn't have any. The beans were very chewy.
Overall, it was an okay experience. The food was a disappointment.
so i order the chicken wing special and i get my food and there are feathers on each and every one of my wings.
My husband I had a wonderful experience. We each got dishes for lunch and for dinner, and the orders were placed at the appropriate times, and the food was delicious!
Our server was amazing! She was very friendly, and had our orders in and out.
Great service
Courteous customer service and this is where it ends. I ordered the Spicy Thai Rice with chicken. I choose spice level 7 out of 1-10. No authentic Thai flavors and no chicken!! The spice level was zero! I was so disappointed.
Had the Pho soup and it was delicious. The service was the best part of the experience
The staff are great and the food comes out fast. They are never loud and a very good place for a quiet event like a date or just a small friend meet up. The crispy lime chicken is amazing. I just tried the yellow curry tonight and it was really good. My only complain is the spicy food that ranges for 1-10 and 20 being the hottest is not that spicy I wish there was a spice level 50. But I am not knocking off a star because I'm a spicy food fan. Picture included is the crab lagoo. (It is a crab ragoons)
Very friendly service. Food was only okay.
Kinda tucked away but really glad we found it and ate here! Really good broth for the pho and spicy noodles are amazing
Delicious Authentic food! Excellent service! Definitely going back!
Exceptionally well done! A real diamond of a find.
Decent flavor but absolutely no spice. No one in my party found the food to be spicy. I ordered 10 star heat but could barely tell that they had put any pepper in the curry. No plans on returning.
The food was amazing. I love their appetizers.
Best Beef Curry
I have eaten there in the past before the pandemic and the food was good, to me. But my experience yesterday(this was a Sunday)was anything but good. Food was very salty and greasy, but no flavor and vegetables were soggy. Portion for the price was unacceptable, although, it didn’t matter because I could not finish it. 25 dollars 💸 I had pad woosen with chicken and Tom kha with shrimp. Last visit
The Pho soup is so amazing! The teriyaki chicken is grilled and so good. Love this place!!
The owner is a great chef! I recommend the Spicy Noodles and Curry Fried Rice!
Much better experience second time around.
Service great, food was great!
Yellow chicken curry so delicious!!!!! BUT last time I ordered (yesterday) I got 4 orders of yellow chicken curry, with some new “cleaning fee” of 10% made my bill 80.00!!!?!??!? So looks like it’s Good to Go for curry (equally delicious)
I used to love this place, but now I am only willing to go during the day for the lunch special. They had some staff changes and now It’s the only time of day where they have the knowledgeable staff that are really nice. And it’s the only time of day where it’s affordable to go bc of the lunch prices. The evening staff are terrible, the order is never correct, the white guy never knows what anything is and only grudgingly offers to find out instead of just doing it.
With the staff change, the Tapioca in the bubble tea is never fresh, they added 10% cleaning fee on all orders, not just dine in orders and at the same time they decreased portion size.
Red curry was good
Pretty awesome!
Easily some of the best food we've had in quite some time. Order anything off the menu, it's all excellent!
The yellow curry was amazing!
Nice, the food was good and the cashier was very nice.
Great food, just needs more workers & duck sauce. First time going but will go again.
I cannot express how much I enjoy this restaurant! After Covid hit, I found it very hard to find consistently excellent food and good service in Hinesville, until I was introduced to Sawadee Thai Cuisine! I grew up in the restaurant business and know how things should work. This is hands down my go to restaurant in Hinesville. We eat here 4-6 times a month! My usual is the Massaman Chicken and/or shrimp served with rice and spring rolls! The coconut milk and curry are a perfect blend at a spice at a level 2! I also enjoy the fresh made Basil rolls! (Ask: Only available on certain days.) Treat yourself to the fried bananas dripped with honey and vanilla ice cream for desert.
The food was good however, the cashier was also the hostess, drink maker and more.
Food is delicious but I truly believe (because I’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurant) that portion size is small and over price. Cannot believe they are charging 10% for cleaning that’s absurd! There goes your tip because that’s just asking for to much!
My mom and I had lunch. She the pineapple chicken, I the lime crispy with taro tea. It was an excellent meal. We had to take it to go in the end because I had to get back to work, but excellent experience. Great service. Very clean restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and experience all around.
This is not the place to go if you’re hungry. The food was delicious but the portions are way too small for the price. Two small containers of rice, two small containers of curry shrimp and two drinks were $50.00. Then 10% was automatically added “due to Covid”. Eating here was such a disappointment. Good customer service and food do not make up for the location, price, and portion size. We had to go somewhere else after eating here.
Tofu Pad Thai. Food was quick and hot. They slide towards the sweet side on their "heat scale" I always order at 2 everywhere I go. Sawadee was no different, but I can't even be sure they put heat in my meal. Their pad Thai is sweet, not a traditional pad Thai. My tofu was under cooked. And there were no peanuts in the pad Thai. Can you even call it pad Thai without peanuts?! I'd be willing to give them another chance on a different meal, and correct my grade. Pad Thai is a staple meal, and they messed it up, so I'm skeptical about trying other meals.
They claim to serve Jasmine rice but it was not. Food was bland and not good.
Love the food
Not good ???
Awesome like always
Not impressed
On the small side with portions..
Food was done fast. I got my wife yellow curry level 2 it was pretty good little spice. Was not that much rice compared to the curry and got the sticky rice with mango.. I mean i Guuueeees, but i wouldnt spend 6 dollars for it again. I got a taro bubble tea and a coffee bubble tea that that had no bubbles soooo that sucked thats all i wanted was a bubble coffee.
Dine in experience might be better because you can check your food better..
Excellent food and service.
Going to be honest upfront, I didn’t have the food here. The reason for my one star review is because when my family and I walked in, the hostess, a young girl, was sitting down on a bench, scrolling on her phone, and without a “hi or hello” asks us “are you dining in or take out” while still looking at her phone. We sat down but after discussing the poor customer service we got from the first 10 seconds at the door, we decided to leave. Not sure if it was her first day or her first job but hopefully she can get better.
The food and customer service is always great! One of our favorite places to eat.
