Edit: got takeout again since it by far the closest Thai restaurant. Ordered red curry seafood, and once again underwhelmed with very thin, runny red curry and bland flavor (see video )

Inconsistently serving, Came here for second time, I order appetizers jumbo tofu twice at the first time came nice well plating set with shredded spiral carrot sauce on the middle at the tofu all around the plate. Then again I order one more it came with with shredded carrot sauce on side and fried some kind like white noddle and the tofu just dump it on top of the white noddle. The server not really friendly and is take long to wait for our check

Very disappointed. We're 5 minutes from the restaurant and we I got home, the two meals were not hot and the vegetables were over cooked, as were the shrimp. We won't be returning.

Don’t let the fact that a place can look empty fool you. This place serves up some seriously heavy hitters.
The server was just so personable and attentive that it felt less like a restaurant and more like eating dinner at a friend’s house.

The drunken noodles, Tom ka, and coconut curry. Every flavor mastered: sour, sweet, salty, spicy, umami. Every dish created with such thought and care.
I seriously can’t speak enough praises of this place.

Honestly, the prices are just too high. $20+ for an entree at a thai restaurant that isn't particularly special is insane. Food is good, its just unfortunate that they crept up prices over the years. I can get curry or noodle dishes at half a dozen other places within 15 minutes for nearly half the price. This place is not special enough to merit the prices.

The food is amazing! The Tom Kha soup is the absolute best. And so it the Pad Thai!
Pinit gave us awesome service. Made me feel so welcomed. I hope I get to see her soon and enjoy that fantastic Mango Sticky Rice again! Kay, the owner is spectacular!

I've been here 3 times, and each time it gets better. I ordered the chicken pad thai, spring rolls, dumplings and crab rangoons. I love adding lime juice to the pad thai and it's so good. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, my food was bland. I am used to Thai curries being rich in flavor. I was really craving this and drove from the other side of town to purchase. Maybe it just a bad night for them.

Pad Thai. Broccoli was tough/woody. Baby corn was sliced in half, long way. Kind of felt like some quality was cut.

I really wanted to like this place. The service was pretty good until of course I called and told them that I had gotten food poisoning from the food I ate there. Me and my wife only went to one restaurant over the weekend and this was it. There was some confusion about what went in the dish as we have dietary restrictions, and was told to go see a doctor, and provide a note before they would do anything. I’ve had this issue a couple times in the past, and the restaurant was always more than helpful in providing a refund upon the explanation of the issue however I did not get that from this location.

Terrible experience. Ordered for pick up, only to arrive and wait 30 minutes for the restaurant to be incredibly rude and cancel my friends order. Workers were rude to other people waiting for pick up as well. This place needs ZERO STARS.

Ordered for pickup through Uber eats. Got a notification it was ready, then waited 30 minutes at the restaurant for them to cancel. The staff was really rude the whole time our friend waited and screamed at her when she asked about the cancelled order.

I have eaten here several times, but I was truly disappointed today. We placed our order at 650pm thru their online services with an estimated pickup time, generated by them, for 725pm to 735pm. I arrived at 745pm and told that the order wasn't ready. At 8pm I asked how much longer and was told another 20 minutes. Keep in mind that I had a simple order, two entrees and two appetizers. And it wasn't that they said 20 more minutes, it's the fact that it was said with no apology, explanation or compassion. I understand that restaurants are short staffed, but an hour and a half to get a simple meal is unexpected.

The food is so good and the staff is great. We took family who came for a long weekend and they wanted to eat it a second time. I loved my chicken cashew and Hawaiian fried rice was a group favorite.

We had Pineapple Duck and a flat noodle dish. Both dishes were good. But the duck was our favorite! Crispy skin and the flavor was excellent. If we are every in the area again we will be back!

Being hungry and leaving the beach we chose Thai from our list of choices and this place did not disappoint.

Couldn’t figure out how to leave a review on Uber Eats, so here I am. Just wanted to say that the food is excellent. The crab rangoons are bite size and extra tasty. Spring rolls were crispy. Hawaiian rice and Pad Thai were simply excellent and the portions are huge. Would happily eat here again.

Ordered take out, got their Pad Thai. It was the worst Pad Thai I have ever had. Tried to call to talk to them. Too busy to answer phone. Left a message to have manager call me back to discuss. They never made any effort to contact me. So poor food and poor service

Hate giving bad reviews but unfortunately I had a decently bad/belittling experience. My entire family and I put our orders in via door dash for pick up. It gave a time frame to pick the food up and I left to arrive just as the window started. I was about half way there when I received a text that the order was ready. When I arrived, the woman looked confused and went to grab my order and came back and said someone had already picked it up. I showed her my door dash app and said no, the order pick up window is just starting and obviously I hadn’t picked it up. She made several comments asking if someone else could’ve picked it up for me. I stated no, my husband is at home with the kids. I’m the only one who could’ve picked it up. She walked in the back and ended up coming back to me and said they’ll remake the food and apologized. I didn’t make a huge fuss. Mistakes happen. I told her I’d run an errand and come back. When I returned, about 10 minutes later she comes out with the bag of food and when I reached out for it she held onto it and in front of about 4-5 people waiting to be sat stated “I know you had a friend or family member pick up the first order so enjoy the free food.” I still wasn’t rude and was in fact so embarrassed I almost started crying right there in the restaurant and reiterated that my husband is at home with our four kids who are waiting for their dinners so it’s impossible for someone to have picked it up for me, took the food, and left. So unfortunately she belittled me in front of quite a few other customers because she didn’t do her job to check the door dash app order and match to an ID. When I did get the food home, most of it was wrong and poorly made. Not the normal quality that their food is. So that was the icing on the cake of an experience I just had. This was supposed to be our fun family dinner night that we have 1-2 nights per month when we don’t cook and either go out to eat or order in and this was our experience. With that being said, both my husband and I have been loyal Tida Thai customers to both the upton drive location and the Norfolk location. I will no longer personally go to either location and my husband is super disappointed in the way things went tonight as well. His choice if he chooses to go again. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to someone else. I highly recommend that they step their door dash protocol up and check peoples apps and what not to avoid something like this again. And if it does happen, don’t automatically assume someone is trying to steal 6 plates of food (which would actually total to 12 if her theory were correct).

Fresh delicious Thai food. Seafood red curry tasted amazing with fresh peppers and Thai basil, well prepared shrimp calamari and scallop.

Prices too high. Portions small. Couldn’t even fill up the container with rice when we paid for extra.

Edit: tried a second time, lettuce wraps chicken container was half filled. Barely enough for 2 lettuce wraps. Not sure why we expected differently. Called to ask them about it and let them know we were dissatisfied and they showed no concern at all and just said “that’s just how it is”. Not happy. Won’t be back.

Delicious food, well priced, expert and courteous service, well decorated with a pleasing ambience. A small place, moderately full of customers when we were there about 6:30 pm on a Monday and we never waited a bit to order, between courses, or to settle the bill. I would call this a near perfect dining experience.

This place has lousy customer service. I walk in and barely get a greeting. I ask for a table for two and the woman sat me at a booth where the table width was so short and so you are seated far from table. I mentioned to lady about table and she shoves the table towards me rudely. How the heck can you enjoy your meal when you have to reach for it??? Very uncomfortable. We walked out. Staff is rude!!

Overall good food, always had quick pickup service. Never ran into them missing anything from my order. Their heart guide is a little loose but worth a shot as there's no better option on this side of town.

I’ve had their food, it’s good. Probably worthy of 4 stars. They get 2 stars however, due to their TERRIBLE customer service. The lady with glasses that works the floor is incredibly rude. The food is never done when expected. I was waiting at the front of the restaurant and the lady said everyone had to wait by the door. She would not come to ask anyone what they were waiting for. So, standing inside the store, I called the store to check the status of the order. She answered the phone about 15 feet from where I was standing and told me the order wasn’t ready. I asked her when it would be. She said she would check. She then put the phone down, and walked away from it, leaving it there for 7 minutes while she did other stuff and eventually came up front. I was not the only frustrated customer. There were two others there At the same time equally irritated.

A cozy cafe offering delicious Thai dishes at a reasonable price. I had the ginger seafood luncheon platter. Under $10, The dish was flavorful, amply filled with scallops, shrimp and squid and was delicious! Served with Jasmine rice and a vegetarian eggroll (appetizer). A gem highly recommended !

Ordered panang curry and green curry chicken for our dinner. The first one lacked the peanut taste and thickness of coconut sauce. Both dishes were kinda soupy. It says on the menu it comes with jasmine rice but it was just regular white rice. On the positive note, the portions were generous and the food came out fast.

This is the best Thai Food around. We always have the best experience here, the staff is friendly and the food is authentic. The portions are so large we always have enough leftovers for lunch the next day! Highly recommend!

I picked up pad Thai to go a few days ago and after a got home and started to eat it some I realized something was off. The dish was sandy. My guess is someone forgot to rinse off the green onions. I don’t think that it’s a regular occurrence but still.

The PAD THAI was horrible. It taste and looked like noodle and ketchup. It had no vegetables and very little meat. Will not go back and will not recommend.

Cozy and clean venue combined with delicious food that have I am consistently impressed with. As of writing this I have had the Panang Curry, Larb Gai Salad, Pad Woon Sen, Satay, Hawaiian Fried Rice, Spicy Mango, and of course Pad Thai.
The beer selection is slightly better than most Thai restaurants I have visited with them adding American lagers such as Yuengling, on tap, to the standard lineup.
The food portions are generous and the pricing is on par with similar options in the area.

Tida Thai is located in the Redmill area, right next to the Petco. I remember going years ago with my family however, I don’t really remember my experience because again, it was years ago.

When we recently went .. I didn’t know how to feel. I mean the atmosphere was nice however, when I got my food I was like “oh”. I ended up ordering something I wasn’t familiar with, Lamb Curry. I never really had curry before but I knew the one I was getting was spicy because it had a chili pepper on the side. I was very excited. We started off with a salad. The salad dressing tasted very good. You could taste the fresh ginger that was placed on it.

So my food came out. It looked wonderful. A nice portion and it also came with rice for $19.95. What I wasn’t excited about for $19.95 was that the potatoes that came with the curry were hard to bite into. It was like it was very raw and undercooked. Then the peas seemed hard as if they were straight from a frozen bag in the freezer. The curry part and lamb was good. The random curly fry lowkey lost me lol. However, from being an active meal prepper and using frozen food, I was really disappointed to feel as if my peas came from that.

My mom got Hawaiian fried rice and she enjoyed it. She also got Thai tea. My dad got the drunken noodles and also enjoyed it. The lamb curry was good, minus the uncooked potatoes and peas. .

Phenomenal. The food is amazing and the Hawaii dish is to die for!!!! Tida Thai offers a kids menu offers dishes almost as big as the adult dishes and you'll need boxes at the end of it because it is a lot of great food. We'll lit, calm, and just downright cool place to dine.

She served us timely allowing us to enjoy our dishes and didn't rush us. Every dish arrived with a beautiful presentation. The fruits and vegetables were fresh. The artistic presentation charming! I would recommend this location. Thai food doesn't have to be so hot and spicy. They allow you to have it your way. The Thai green tea was smooth and well worth trying! The tofu and curry pleased our palates. We left full and pleased with our experience.

its OK. Wouldn't say it's authentic really. Masaman curry runny and not really thick with the amount of spices I would've expected. Chicken over cooked. Still decent when you're hungry though.
