Premium authentic thai food, made by Thais. Join us with our two locations. Middleburg and Leesburg VA.
Our favorite Thai place in Middleburg! Family owned, small business with delicious food being served. Prices are right in the middle, quite a good portion of food, served per meal. Our favorites are the Miso soup and Pad See Ew!
Service is OK but not going above and beyond which is kind of sad, as that is something they can easily improve on.
I was excited to try this place having read reviews and based on praise from friends, but it was awful. I asked for “extra veggies” in my Pad Thai thinking it would be more onion and bean sprouts and instead I got broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower. Didn’t taste goo with the flavors of the dish. And the noodles were clumped together and overcooked. My husband’s Panang Curry was almost all sauce, no chicken, and watery. Maybe it’s an off day for them but certainly not worth the reviews I’ve seen. Will not be going back.
This is really a 3.5 rating as opposed to a true 4. But since there are no half star ratings, I’ll let the 4 stand. Ordered the Tom kha (with chicken), Thai ice tea (to cut the heat) and pad see ew (with chicken).
Almost all Thai food seeks a balance between the four flavors, which are sweet, salty/umami, sour, and spicy. And depending on the chef, those flavors tend to lean more towards a preference for more sweet, more umami, or more sour. And even when you order a mild level of spice, there is ALWAYS spice present. Thai mild spice is always going to be more powerful than any other cuisine on earth.
But we were never asked what level of spice we wanted and the food lacked any sort of heat. We’ve had Thai food in Thailand, Japan, California, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, New Jersey, Virginia, D.C. and North Carolina. We’ve always been prompted with our choice of spice level, with exception to Best Thai Kitchen. I’m not sure if their lack of heat in their dishes is catering to the local crowd but it was a big red flag.
The Thai iced tea tasted like the pre-made stuff most restaurants buy in a can, as opposed to something freshly brewed. Way too sweet.
Tom kha was probably my favorite, although the herbs and galangal sometimes could be sinewy. Loved the flavors overall.
My pad see ew noodles were on the gloopy side. Wish they would have charred them better and not added so many extra vegetables. I would have preferred just broccoli, a slice of lemon, and crushed peanuts. Instead, I noticed a piece of broccoli, tons of cauliflower, and shredded carrots. It just seemed very untraditional.
Service was just ok. The place wasn’t crowded, but we weren’t really checked on at all until it was time to pay the check.
Interesting there is another Thai restaurant directly across the street. I wonder what the story behind that is all about?
Was this the best Thai food we’ve had? That we’ve even had in the States ? No…but it’s better than copping out and going some place else for sloppy Italian, burgers, and chicken finger baskets. I think we’re going to try the place across the street next time we’re in the area and compare. Best Thai Kitchen didn’t have much in the way of parking and the other Thai restaurant did. And the entree prices were on the steep side.
Delicious Thai food Middleburg! Each time we visit vineyards in the area we try to visit Best Thai Kitchen. I feel you get bang for your buck with the quantity of food served and the flavors with each bite you take of the food. The service is great and quick at this small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.

We came here about a month ago and had the worst service and experience at a restaurant we have ever had. We waited at least 30 minutes for someone to come take our order and then there was no follow up once our food was given to us. Then we literally had to leave cash on the table because no one would come to bring us our check. Maybe it was a bad day with staffing, regardless no one ever apologized for the wait or anything. Not at all what we were expecting based on the ratings online.
Food is way too sweet and saucy. Pricing makes no sense (they up-charge you for "adding" meat).
We ordered the Tom Yum, Pad Krapow, and Drunken noodles. Drunken noodles were bathed in sauce and mushy. Pad Krapow was way too sweet and not spicy at all. Tom Yum was fine but not spicy.
All of the food was way over-priced. Each dish has a "base" price and then you pay extra to add meat. The problem is the base price is already so expensive; it doesn't make sense to me that you have to pay $5 to add chicken. I'm sorry, but in Thai cuisine there is no such thing as Pad Krapow without meat. If I didn't pay to add meat, would they just serve me vegetables? I shouldn't have to pay extra for a constituent ingredient of a dish.
By far one of the best Thai restaurants we have been to! We drove 40 mins just to try it out and glad we did. The services was amazing! The good delicious!
Had lunch here today with my accountant, and what a great surprise. I was hesitant because of a past experience, but a woman I chatted with in town suggested it in lieu of my intended lunch spot. I’m happy to have given it another shot!
The service was great. Katie was friendly and patient. She handled the front of the house perfectly. Nothing was rushed or stressed.
They merged the sushi place with the Thai place since my last visit. I had the special sushi roll with jalepenos and tempura shrimp. And also the king salmon nigiri. Both were amazing. The My friend had the pineapple fried rice with beef and loved it! She just texted me how surprised she was because it was so great.
I am happy to change my 2 year old previous review. And I will be even happier to visit this little gem AGAIN and AGAIN.
I guess Middleburg IS big enough for two Thai places. Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing food and hospitality. A must
This is the best Thai food in the area!! One of the few places that actually make it spicy when you ask for Thai hot! The Sushi rolls are amazing, Lobster roll is off the charts delicious, and don't forget the Jalapenos appetizer! We frequent this place often and it is always spot on! If you want real Thai food, this is the place, the others in the area do not compare.
Really good appetizers and entrees. You have to love a good bento box.
. Will never go there again. Horrible experience

A hidden gem! After a day at the winery this is a perfect sweet spot to get some delicious dinner before wrapping our evening.
Vegan & Vegetarian - Very accommodating. I was so hungry and food was yummy did not get around taking a picture.
Outdoor sitting on a cool summer evening was a great touch to a small town ambiance.
Service- We have been here a few times and always the service is incredible. A huge shout out to the servers for always warm and friendly.

Comida deliciosa y excelentes precios!
Felicidades 👏 👏 👏
This is a jewel of a spot. Thai dishes are fantastic and some of the best I've had. So good. Lovely service. Can't wait to go back.
First let me start by saying, I have never written a review nor experienced blatant racism during my 55 years of living. We are an African American couple. Made reservations for my wife's birthday, arrive early, seated at our 7pm time. Waitress brought us plastic cups, no big deal until I see everyone else with glass. Enquired to the waitress why this was the case, she glass wasn't available but everyone before us and after us had glass. Spoke to the blonde waitress she apologized, stating she didn't know why that was done and brought us out glass. Again, no big deal. Then we witness several table that arrived after us get food and we had yet to have a waitress come again by our table regarding where our food was. After witnessing table after table get food we decided to leave but not before we spoke gently and quietly to the blonde waitress at the register. She again apologized several times saying she didn't know why our food was not out. Offered to pay our tab, she declined we left. As we walked out someone (white lady) on the deck (not privy to our conversation with the waitress) said, "Yall have a good evening, I hope you find somewhere else to eat". Huh? How did she know? Totally miffed by the experience. I will continue following up with the owner, better business, etc to determine exactly what this was all about.
Typical 'muricanized style Thai food for triple the hole in the wall price. The menu was misleading on the cost as well. I ordered the pannang curry which says on the menu is $16 and is traditionally served with beef but they can do any protein. At the bottom of the menu in a separate area they listed proteins and the cost. I assumed that was for another entree. I was wrong. $16 + $6.95 for the privilege of having the beef they mentioned in my curry. Same thing for my wife's pad thai. Plus the server was grumpy. Not rude, but obviously grumpy. Food was meh and the surprise grand total including a tiny appetizer and our two dishes was $63+ tip. That's with water to drink. I have no problem paying a lot more money than that for good food, but this was a miss.
Good food! Ok ambiance!
Excellent and fresh Thai food with top of the line service and made with love!
Very Authentic thai food, great service, loved it
Small, quaint restaurant with a surprising amount of room. Tonight we had Ginger Delight and Stir Fry Chicken. Appetizer Tom Ka Soup was so yummy. All food is served very hot and with a big smile. Such a nice lovely dinner, we didn't expect it to be so nice here. Just park anywhere.
Probably one of the very best Thai meals I have enjoyed. Lovely staff and so small and intimate. I love it! Pad Prik King - superbly cooked vegetables.
The dumplings are great but they truly skimp you on the meat on their chicken drunken noodles. You would think they would put more than 2 small pieces of chicken for a $20 dish.
Excellent Thai food. We stopped in on a whim and we're so glad we did. The panag curry wast not too spicy at all and sweet likes its supposed to be. We'll be back for sure!
Curry was to sweet and too mild for Thai curry. Too watered down to try and appease the local clientele. Good atmosphere and decor. Service was also very good. Prices were expensive for what I got.

Service was very good. I gave this place two stars for the lack of a lunch menu. Food was really good but I really didn’t expect to pay $70 for lunch for two. Two thumbs down for high lunch prices.
Food is horrible and so spicy I almost died.
Great food. Great service.
Great authentic Thai food. Highly recommend
Great food. Can’t decide to give a five star. Might have to visit multiple time.
Great service, interesting & tasty mixed drinks, and very generous food servings. Love the outdoor seating. Just make sure to double check with friends on the address if you are meeting up here; there is another thai restaurant across the street that makes things a little confusing when coordinating meeting up
Loved the food. A little short on staff when we went which caused some issues, but really tried to make things work the best they could
Comida sabrosa y sana
Great service and food, lots of veggie options.
What an amazing new addition to our town ! Loving their dishes and order it once a week for vegetarian night ;) order medium spice if your just average but like a little kick
The name says it all.
Nobody needs to complain about not having great Thai in the area. It’s been awhile, and I’ve raved before... but Best Thai Kitchen is THE BEST. I can’t remember having better Thai anywhere. Seriously. The Panang is insane, rich, aromatic, fresh. Probably the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been eating here since they opened and the food is just as good now, if not better. Congratulations!!! And thank you!
Super friendly staff with exceptional, authentic Thai food. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation were superb. Highly recommend
Waiter was courteous and attentive. Appetizer came out quickly and hot. Main dish arrived shortly after the appetizer. Both delicious and freshly made. Tried the Thai iced tea and was pleasantly surprised. Portion sizes just right. I don't live nearby but if I did I would frequent this restaurant.
Such a great little place. We will be back. Great service and the food was very authentic and delicious. Outside seating area on a perfect late summer night!
Great service. Very authentic food. Loved it and will come back.
Food was delicious and very fresh, definitely will be back
Full of flavor rich and a lovely atmosphere
Ordered pad sew and noodles were not cooked well. Only few pieces of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Worst Thai food I have ever had. Not going again. This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant.
This place is terrible they are rude bugs all in the store and food was cooked correct. Will never go here again.
The BEST experience!!!!!!
This is our favorite Thai place in the area. The food is always good! I just had the Panang Curry which was as delicious as everything else we've had there.
Excelente almuerzo...
Una ración da para dos personas
Lo recomiendo ...
This place is Amazing!!! We had the best experience and dinner at the Best Thai Kitchen last night! We started off with the larb ghai. The owner came out and offered us some fresh mint to add to it, she was right on how great that would taste! My fiancé had the panang with seafood, and I had the drunken noodles with pork and both meals were delicious! Then...she brought out this coconut ice cream...everything about this experience from the food, to the patio, and the wine was the best! This is definitely a must go to!
Amazing food and staff!! So fresh and very friendly family run restaurant!
Best Thai food I’ve had in a very long time. The pad thai was fantastic and the thai chicken wings were great. Service was very nice and the lady at the front was very sweet. When I asked for chicken in my food, they were super generous with the amount in my meal. 100% recommend.
Major sevice fail. Waited over 15 min for someone to take my order. Then, the table who came in later received service. The food may be good, but I'll never know.
My wife and I greatly enjoyed authentic Thai dishes (Pad Thai & Drunken Noodle, Crispy herbal fish)...Thai dumpling as appetizer was delicious as well. Great ambience and very friendly staff! We recommend Best Thai to anyone who loves Thai food...worth the drive to Middleburg from DC metro area.
Good Thai food, and very unassuming.
Best place to get Pad Thai!
Great food and great service
"It's really just exceptional Everytime" - Jess
Very good food, we loved it
We come here all the time and every dish we have had has been super tasty. Hands down the best Thai restaurant in the area! Highly recommend the Pad See Ew!
Friendly staff, good food
Really good Thai food. Service and pricing we're good
The BEST fried rice in the area, and fantastic presentation.
The Thai wings here are amazing. Haven't tried much else on the menu because this is my go-to here.
This place is awesome!!! Amazing food with quaint family feel in the middle of Middleburg. We will definitely be back.
Just finishing lunch... had Pad Thai and Panang Curry... both awesome!! We will be back... you havery to try this place. Great service too.
Tasty and delicious food. I had the Tom Yum soup with vegetables, and the house eggplant. I also tasted my friend's pineapple fried rice, exquisite.
This is my favorite place to eat Thai food in northern VA!
Very nice staff and great service. The food was good and the ambiance was ok.
The best Thai restaurant in nova by far. Better then sense of Thai in one loudoun. Great friendly service and the food comes out very quickly. Would recommend to a friend and definitely coming back. Menu items are priced fairly. Best Thai food I’ve ever had.
My Thai prime rib was okay. It said it came with Thai vegetables, but they were carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.
Cozy and delicious food and environment. Good service. Drunken noodles was the hit of the evening at our table.
The owner really went out of his way to help us on a busy night. The food was also quite good.
I had the cashew chicken. It was very good. Excellent service. The owner came out and talked to us. So did the co-owner who is the chef. It is expensive but it is in Middleburg.
Some of the most authentic thai Ive tasted! Both the Tom Yum soup with shrimp and the panang curry with duck were beautifully balanced in flavor, just the right spice, and fresh slightly crisp veggies. The waitstaff is very attentive and friendly. You must go here if you are in the area!
Great!!!!!!
Amazing food and service
The staff is very pushy and they will make you feel rushed into making decisions. It was not an inviting or friendly atmosphere, where I could enjoy eating my food.
Very nice food and service
Great food and very nice people
Went with another couple and liked it. Food was a little slow getting there, but was nicely spiced. Little on the pricey side. Overall not bad.
Service was amazing!!! Food was so good!!!
Food was amazing, very authentic and the staff was great. Stopped in while traveling through and wish i could bring this restaurant back home with me
Loved the Pad Thai
Loved it... The best thai food ever... Service was good
Excellent food, service needs to be quicker, friendly.
Boom!!!! Thai food the way its supposed to be... killer panang shrimp... and a beautiful server.. Mattie 💕
This is a quaint little gem. Thai kitchen is a perfect description as everything on the menu is made to order. My husband had Pad Thai and I had a vegetable ginger dish with added chicken . We started with the vegetable spring rolls, also good. Owned by three sisters, two in the kitchen and one in the front of house. Most Thai restaurants have the reputation of being spicy but there are offerings that are flavorful but not blow off your head spicy. They will add fire if you so desire.
