Thai, Japanese Sushi and Dessert Restaurant
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant today. The establishment offers a delightful combination of Japanese and Thai cuisines, which we found equally enjoyable. The Thai dishes, ranging from beef jerky to papaya salad and shrimp pad Thai, were reminiscent of the flavors we experienced in Bangkok. However, the papaya salad was a bit spicier than we anticipated. The Japanese dishes, featuring fresh sashimi and a beautifully presented chirashi bowl, were as visually appealing as they were delicious. We regrettably had no room for dessert, but we look forward to returning to sample the delectable cakes on display.
it really deserves a much longer review but basically it’s not just delicious but a bit unique too so you get something a little different to the flavor even at other excellent local places. fantastic menu all kinds of options. sashimi is so flavorful though i always come back to it. wish i had room for 2 meals each time i come.
Such a wonderful find! Every dish we had was delicious – from the chicken satay to the spicy tuna roll to the Penang curry to the sticky rice dessert. We didn’t know what to expect, but had high hopes based on good reviews. Those hopes were matched and exceeded. We were equally impressed with the kind and attentive service, especially by May, the owners’s daughter. She shared with us some of the backstory behind the restaurant. So impressive to see this family working to create a delicious and welcoming neighborhood restaurant. Highly recommend!
Amazing food, local, friendly and very reasonably priced. Sushi, soup and thai noodles. Huge portions. Family friendly. Tip: parking on side of building. Family owned. Thai red curry noodles were amazing. Love the dragon roll and had a dinner special. We need to return. New owners as of end of summer 2024.
Stopped in for a quick lunch while out running errands and I am so glad I did! Food and drink are delicious and pair well together, staff is incredibly friendly and you can tell the whole team puts a lot of care into the establishment. Can’t wait to come back for their happy hour!
Just wanted to say the sushi was immaculate. No joke but probably the best sushi I've ever had. It tasted fresh and yes raw fish but there wasn't any lingering fishy smell to it. The sashimi was to die for. Next time I'll definitely try their Thai appetizers and pad thai and curries!!
This is an incredible date night location. Parking is always available and convenient. Wait time is hardly 5 mins because we almost always have the restaurant to ourselves. Great selection of food, yummy sushi rolls and plates. Great appetizers and dessert, too! Refills on hot tea deserves 5 stars on its own. Great service, genuine and friendly smiles. We visit once a month or more.
You’ll find it with the “Tuna” sign outside. Enjoy!!
The food was amazing!! The service was impeccable. Chef JJ is great and made fresh and yummy sushi. Owner Ming is so nice and attentive. This is the best Thai restaurant in the neighborhood.
Amazing food. Make sure you reserve.

One of the best thai restaurants I've been to ! Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Def my new go to !!
Great local spot. Food is consistently very good and the people who work there are always super friendly.
Delicious thai food!

Just eat somewhere else. This restaurant is not worth a single penny, and the prices are ridiculously high compared to what you get.I had pad kra pao for 20$.
We came across this hidden gem on a whim and will continue to be returning customers. Chef JJ and Ming are a dynamic duo who produce a fantastic arrangement of sushi and Thai dishes. Very humble and extremely kind people. The atmosphere is equally warm and relaxing.
Ordered takeout. They forgot to include 1/4 of my order. The pad see ew was flavorless. Crab rangoons were delicious though so way to go for that
Siam Miyaki has delicious out of this world Japanese sushi and Thai food. We are so happy we found this wonderful place. Chef JJ and Ming are so nice and personable. They remembered our son from when he was a host at Yume Sushi. We highly recommend going here. We went twice in 10 days! It’s our new favorite place in Arlington!

This is an amazing neighborhood spot with a fantastic selection of Thai dishes, sushi, and desserts! The new owner, JJ, brings culinary creativity and energy to his sushi rolls, soups (my favorite, Wonton Noodle Soup), and various appetizers (the spicy salmon is a must-try), all of which are tasty and delicious. The service is attentive, warm, and friendly, making you feel right at home. I’m slowly working my way through the menu, and every dish has been a delight. It's hands down one of my new favorite neighborhood spots in Arlington for sushi, Thai, or dessert.
The atmosphere is welcoming, and the chef's passion for his craft shines through in every dish. There is ample parking around the corner and across the street makes it even more convenient to visit. Whether you're craving sushi or Thai, this place is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend!!
Amazing place to eat at!!! Will be coming back again and again!
Such a great spot for Thai food!
The owner and all of the staff were so nice and welcoming (great vibes all around)! We had some delicious appetizers, curry noodles, and Panang curry!
New favorite Thai spot!
First time going to Siam Miyaki and was very happy with my experience. Food was fresh and delicious. Volcano roll was very good. Staff was super friendly. Thank you to Chef JJ and the team for making my experience great!
Top class attentative service with incredible quality food. New favorite spot in Arlington. Michellin level vibes from the Chefs and staff all the way around. Hands down the best Chirashi bowl in entire DMV. Incredible authentic Thai dishes to boot!
Amazing service! A wonderful addition to the Thai cuisine scene! We stopped in for lunch and had the sashimi meal and wonton soup. Loved it!!
Stopped by with my girlfriend and this restaurant impressed me, the dishes were so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend, we will definitely come back!
Super good sushi and cakes. I loving going here with my ex girlfriend. Love it!

BEST SUSHI I’VE EVER HAD, best service in DC so far, and they gave us free sushi and larger than advertised portions. Will definitely be back.
I've been wanting to write this review for awhile now. The guys here deserve praise for their skill and craft.
I own the fly fishing shop around the corner. I was a marine bio major, and have been involved in fisheries for almost 30 years at this point. I know my fish, love fish, and am both opinionated and picky about the fish I eat.
I've been a patron at this location in all it's previous iterations, and have had a great relationship with all the previous owners and businesses that have existed here.
Enter JJ - sushi chef with a great skill set and youth that adds energy to his dishes. He is creative, precise with his cuts, serves the freshest fish, and gets to know his customers and tweaks his creations to surprise and excite them. He is one of 3 people I trust to walk in and ask him just make whatever is on his mind for me that day - think omakase, but personal because he knows what I really enjoy of his creations. He'll even throw a curveball sometimes to see if I'm paying attention. Last week I ordered an order with salmon, and out came several different kinds, including smoked, charred, fatty salmon belly, and hand rolls.
They'll grind up some fresh wasabi for you, and even pull out the stops with a Hokkaido scallop with their amazing ponzu (yuzu soy sauce), or ask him to make something off the cuff. You won't be disappointed.
I've never been happier to have a local itamae that I enjoy talking to... but it's gets better! Everyone at the shop is cheerful and entertaining. The Thai food is great as well, and the crab rangoon are amazingly light and refreshing and don't taste greasy or deep fried. Drunken noodle and Pad Thai show up and are full of flavor and umami. The mini cake desserts are fantastic.
5 stars for this location. Visit these guys and patronize their business. They deserve it, and the better they do, the more different and delectable fish they get to purchase for their customers that will open your mind and diversify your palate.
great lil spot. amazing drunken noodles and sushi!
Every dish was beautifully presented extremely tasty. Extensive menu, swell staff…happy hour every day 4/6. GO!
Pricey
Delicious food at a good price.

new ownership - great food, ambiance and even a cute cafe for crepes, shaved ice and drinks! easy to access, plenty of parking and a cute little spot in the Arlington neighborhood. Yummy.
Newly re-opened with fantastic food and drinks. Service super friendly and fast. Run by thai staff.
Can really recommend this place.
You've got to try the amazing new Thai & Sushi restaurant in Arlington! The food is incredibly tasty, and they offer a delightful selection of Thai dishes, sushi, and desserts. The service is top-notch, and there's plenty of parking available behind the building. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Super cute place, amazing service, absolutely delicious
Neighborhood Gem! Food is always fresh, consistent, and delicious. Great service and super friendly restaurant staff.
I'm so happy these guys are still in business in spite of changes over the year. I get sushi lunch there as often as I can.
Like anywhere else, sushi is not cheap. But it's very tasty and they give generous portions!
I found this place one night when I was walking up the street. They were closed for the evening and I made a mental note to return. Sure enough, the next evening I was there. The food is delicious. I had the Pad See Ew. The hot, broad rice noodles, with Chinese broccoli, and chicken were just what I needed on a cold, rainy night. There was a slight spice to it. I wanted to steer clear of too spicy. The menu offers Thai and Sushi. I believe there are some Asian-fusion dishes? There were many things I wanted to try. The Cousins were friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes.

Amazing! 10/10 recommend
This restaurant is an amazing local, family-run spot! The food is fresh, delicious, and the presentation is superb. The staff is friendly and their attention to detail is impressive. I have eaten here many times and can honestly say that every meal has been wonderful. My favorites are green curry noodle, tempura and my kids love the friend rice. Try it ... you will not be disappointed!

Great food! Authentic Vietnamese beef soup, tasty apps and sushi rolls. We’ll come back
Ridiculously small portion sizes for an outrageous price. They charge $11 ($14 on ubereats) for 6 of the smallest pieces of spicy tuna. Effectively $2 per piece of sushi barely larger than the size of a quarter. No indication of how many pieces, size of sushi or anything on their website or menus. Deceptive and extremely overpriced.
Amazing Thai and Sushi! Lovely spot with great customer service! We will be back soon! Thank you!
I tried the crying tiger was phenomenal! The meat was well treated and delicious! I also had the Tom yum going! Was great too! I appreciate their service too. Pretty nice experience 👏
nice place to eat seafood snack
Got carry out and it was delicious. Ordered ahead of time and was ready at the scheduled time. Staff were friendly too.
They finally set out a couple of outdoor tables. Food was delicious but I forgot it comes out piping hot. Staff was wonderful as always.
This place is AMAZING!!! The sushi was so fresh, the dishes were delicious and VERY well presented. If I lived closer we’d make this a weekly occurrence. I doubt you’ll find such an authentic taste in Arlington!! Must try!!
My family took me to Tuna restaurant for a wonderful lunch! We had many different platters to share, but my favorite was the sushi platter! Everything was so tasty and fresh.
The staff was kind and very attentive. I wish that I lived in VA, I would come here at least once a week!
So hot and fresh! Made with care and so tasty!
I went here for the first time recently and I absolutely LOVED IT. It's a wonderful spot, the food was authentic and so, so delicious. Reminded me of meals I've had in Thailand it was so on point with the flavors. In addition to the amazing food, I also really loved the atmosphere. You could tell it was a family owned restaurant. They were so friendly and welcoming. It felt good to eat great food while supporting a local small business.
I got the Gyoza starter and Pad Thai dish, I highly recommend both. I'm excited to come back and try more dishes. Next time I go, I'm getting a couple sushi rolls and the Drunken Noodles. The people on the table next to me had that and it looked so mouth watering good!
Small family-owned restaurant that is VERY underrated - it’s so good!! Plenty of free parking nearby. A neighborhood favorite.
The best Thai restaurant around. It's a limited menu, unlike what you see at most Thai restaurants, but what they do make, is excellent. They also have a northern Thai dish, Khao Soi, which you don't see very often, but is one of their best dishes.
There isn't much room in the restaurant to sit, but that makes the service more personal, which is excellent.
This is a family owned and run business, so you'll see younger family there learning the tricks of the trade. :-)
There is also a sushi menu, but I haven't tried it yet so can't comment on how good it is. Assuming though it is as good as their Thai food, then it should be pretty good.
Delicious food and great service! Highly recommend their drunken noodles and Thai Iced Tea!! I can’t wait to come back for more!
Sehr freundlicher Service und frisch zubereitetes und sehr leckeres Essen! Wir bestellten Pad Thai und gebratenen Reis. Dazu ein Chang. Gerne wieder, wir fühlten uns wie in Thailand. ☺️
Sushi was OK, but rolls were really small considering the price.
One of the best Thai restaurants in the DMV area. I highly recommend the Khao Soi. It's absolutely incredible and tastes exactly like what you would find in Northern Thailand. Service was great and the people that work in the kitchen are extremely friendly and kind. Can't say enough good things about this place!
Food is great, service is amazing
Food was good but the portions are tiny. Smallest Rainbow Roll I have ever had and the fish was sliced paper-thin. Maybe we just ordered badly, good enough quality to try it again.
Service was all over the place with parylt of my dinner coming out early, (non-alcoholic) drinks coming after apps.
Also for a place named Tuna, there's very few tuna options. 1 app and 2 sushi choices. Not even a tuna avo roll. Weird.
Friendly, tasty little place. Recent new management are excellent and the environment is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.
סטאק קטן ולא רך מספיק, קערה קרי עם עוף ואורז לא מיוחדת. מחיר סביר.
The new owner's attention to detail was superb. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The food was tasty!
Yayyy! A new thai spot that is on point. Had the drunken noodles and they were fresh and just enough spicy to feel the heat without sacrificing flavor. Wife got the pad thai and she loved it as well. Crispy spring rolls were great as well. Will be ordering again!
Crying Tiger !!!
We had drunken noodles and red curry, both were excellent.
Great spot! Very cute restaurant, sweet staff, and fresh food. We loved everything we ordered and will for sure come back!
The fried rice is amazing, spicy and flavorful
Had the ramen set and found it delightful paired with a tuna roll. Great to have it so close to home
Tuna is named after the owner, he was serving and made sure everyone had everything they needed. Food was amazing and will definitely be coming back. Great selection even for pickier eaters. Laid back, yet still attentive, casual, but fantastic and complex dishes. 5 stars.
Really good sushi and southeast asian cuisine. Variety of sushi rolls, poke bowls, curry and other varieties.
We went there on Friday veterans day about 730 the place is cleaned up alot but there were about 5 guys and a baby in there they look like the one was a employee but they were just really loud we couldn't even here are selves talk it. Was not enjoyable
I love this place. They have amazing customer service, food is top notch and I love their beer and sake selections. Always a delight every time I visit this place. Def recommend this place.
One of the top Sushi places. Very nice staff and owners. Def worth trying!!
Old place was better, food sucked
Edit: the fish quality wasn't very high, it didn't taste good to be honest
Great service and delicious food. Can't wait to come back and taste the rest of the menu 😋
Great food Great service..highly recommended
