This is absolutely the best Sushi restaurant my family has ever been too. This is the first time I am posting but have been coming for the past year and it just gets better and better. The service is unmatched and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The sushi chef is one of the best sushi makers that I have had throughout my life. If can make sure you stop by!

It won’t win any awards or appear on any “Best of Long Island lists” but Fukee is a good quality local Chinese/japanese fusion restaurant dare I say the best one in the bethpage/plainedge/hicksville area. The lunch specials are all reasonably priced for the quality of food you receive, take out orders online receive 10% off and the staff are attentive. Tons of repeat customers and locals who come here to drink at their expansive bar. The fish are brought in fresh weekly ( they are closed on Mondays for a reason so come in Tues-Thurs for the best quality sushi.) Wonton soup is top notch with the right amount of spice to make it unique.

Wow. Let’s just start with that. If I could give 6 stars, I would. We went to Fukee because we were going to be in the area and saw the reviews were good. Man, we’re they right. We went in and were the first customers of the day. There are a handful of booths and tables. Very plain decor which works well because the food does all the talking. Our waitress, who we suspect is one of the owners, was very attentive even when more people can in. She even started us off with a piece of spicy tuna and salmon. The sauce was a little sweet. The fish was buttery and melted in you your mouth. My wife had the Chirashi and I had the sushi/sashimi combo. She asked for it without shrimp and crab. I was very surprised it wasn’t the same fish at every other place we have been to. I asked to substitute the California roll with a peanut avocado.
We were started with miso soup and salad. The dressing was the typical ginger dressing. It was good. The soup had a different kind of seaweed. It had more texture so you knew you were eating it. We both enjoyed it a lot. They substituted for her shrimp and crab with a bunch of different “white” fish. She loved her meal. Mine was fantastic. You call tell the quality of ingredients they put into. We also ordered The Magical Roll which has spicy tuna, avocado topped w. eggplant & sweet miso glaze. So delicious! Last but not least was the Tiger Roll spicy tuna top w. tuna, slamon, yellowtail, crunch & served with special sauce. So good. Can’t wait to try more on our next visit.

Came here for lunch with my 2 co-workers. We very much enjoyed every aspect of the restaurant! The service and food was amazing. I just hope they continue the same level of standards down the line. I had the shrimp pad thai and co-workers had chicken hibachi with noodles 🍜 and chicken pad Thai. Side salad dressing delicious and soups which came with lunch special light. Great experience!! What a hidden gem! Best, authentic sushi in Long Island. Chef Eric made us special mango lobster roll, Toro trio, tuna with truffle. We had tempura udon, spicy maki roll combination, scallop roll, Bethpage roll. Can’t wait to come back with family and friends.

My husband and I had a great time eating at Fuku. We sat at the sushi bar and spoke with Chef Zhang. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and has great creativity and skills. He made some of the best sushi we'd ever had. We will definitely be bringing our friends back.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Called them back because they forgot a roll and they are yelling at me telling me that i have it!! They yell at their customers and they argue with them for 40 minutes. I NEVER got anything resolved and i was on the phone with the managers and they were fighting with me! STAY AWAY FROM THESE NASTY PEOPLE

The sashimi was bland and the slices were small, the salad dressing was very watery. The monster roll was good. The prices are pretty low, but it's worthwhile to spend a bit more to get better sushi elsewhere

Solid, fresh and tasty rolls, noodles, soups and apps

It’s my favorite Sushi spot on Long Island. The staff is very friendly and gotten to know them well.

The food is alway great. The sushi is fresh.

I generally go for lunch but there are times I will go in evening.

We were so hungry that I wasn’t able to capture everything.

Staff was ok, I usually rate the bathroom but didn’t see it when we visited.

We’d return and try other things and get the calamari and scallion pancake again

Food is the freshest around! I frequent this restaurant weekly. May provides the best service, and makes you feel at home. I highly recommend!

Our son and his wife invited both families to Fukee to celebrate New Year's Eve birthdays of two family members. They had made a reservation and we were seated immediately at a table in the dining room. Our waiter gave us menus and allowed us to chat and catch up, bringing us water and then taking our order after we had time to choose. The appetizers were brought promptly and were delicious. Everyone also liked their entrees. If someone wanted brown rice instead of white, there was no problem making the switch. The waiter was attentive but did not lurk. As the restaurant was not packed, we were allowed to visit and enjoy our food. Would recommend this restaurant and would either eat in again or do take out in the future.

The freshest sushi I have ever had I live in Jersey but everytime I come to Long Island I make sure to stop at Fukee and order The wantagh roll. Absolutely delish.

Chicken katsu entree was good. Chicken was tender and thick. Not thin like some other places. Comes with a small side of rice and sauce. Pretty good portion size. Staff was very friendly. I'll definitely visit this place again.

Place is amazing. Eric, May, and Jason could not be nicer and accommodating. They have so many regular customers for those reason and because all the food is delicious. Place is bright and clean and the price is extremely reasonable for the quality of the food.

Finally found a good lunch spot in Bethpage. I ordered the salmon teriyaki lunch bento box. The food was excellent! The salmon was cooked perfectly with crispy skin. The California roll was great and the shumai were delicious. The side salad was very fresh, served with a creamy dressing. The miso soup was hot and had a pleasant taste.

Fukee is always consistent! We have ordered from them so many times and always looking forward to the food's arrival. Excellent sushi and hot food. Their specialty rolls are fantastic and all prepared with the utmost of care. The hot food is always separated from the sushi. Thank you for all your quality food over the years.

Unbeatable lunch special.

I was scrolling around the sushi spots for a good lunch deal and found this place. I was surprised to see 3 rolls for $13. I was even more surprised when I saw the high ratings. The surprise continued when I saw that it also came with soup and salad.

The soup and salad were tasty and fresh. The salad dressing was fantastic. For the 3 rolls, I got spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and a philly roll. All fresh and tasty and LOADED with fish. There really is no beating the value and taste here. Can't wait to come back.

The place it self was ok, a little outdated I thought, the service was good, and so was the food, will return to try different things from the menu, I think they probably have very good dishes, I will try to find them.

Absolutely stellar each visit, a frequent date spot for me (who like sushi) and my boyfriend (who does not!) I can have my spicy yellowtail while he has the great sesame chicken! Everything is top quality, and the staff is very nice. This sushi is so good, my boyfriend is slowly getting converting from chicken to fish!

Ive been here time and time again and time and time again they never disappoint. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always great.

I don't eat sushi, but my girlfriend loves it. We always order the chicken dumpling appetizer and they're so damn good. The general tzos chicken/shrimp is crispy and juicy with every bite. Sometimes if I want something with more variety I get the pad thai. It always hits the spot. If you have room for dessert the fried banana and ice cream is a great ending to a delicious meal.

Do yourself a favor and visit this place. You won't be disappointed.

Nice clean place, the honey ribs are very tasty with a good amount of meat on it..the rice was good. also have a sushi menu, I will go back to try other dishes. $10.00 for 3 ribs but i was satisfied as long as it was delicious. 🙂

The waitress was great, the food was great, the prices were fair and the over all experience was wonderful.

Great Tasting Food !!!!

My husband and I live in the area and decided to give this place a try on a Friday night. We entered into an unnecessarily bright room which added to the awkwardness of waiting at an empty host table for a host to greet us. Nevertheless the friendly host finally arrived and seated us immediately, it was all downhill from here. The service was painfully slow because all the tables were taken and there wasn’t nearly enough waiters, 1 or 2 only. When the waiter finally arrived with food- it was something we did NOT order, it was a consolation appetizer for the fact that our food was taking so long. I ordered a soup appetizer which never came, neither did they apologize. The table of 6 people right next to us seemed to have been receiving exceptional service compared to our empty table, with the waiter checking in on them frequently and me having to catch the waiter’s attention to request a glass of water. The waiter brought us water filled mostly with ice in a sticky beer glass mug, without a straw. I had to go look around for a straw myself. The sushi rolls were average but due to our hunger levels, we ate what we ordered. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Someone recommended this place to me. First time going here and the sushi is excellent! It is nice and fresh. I will be going here more often. Definitely recommending this place!

Amazing looking sushi. Just picked up a party boat tray with king salmon. The food is really good and fresh. I have a Sapporo beer to go with it as well. Honestly I have to say very well cut sashimi and prepared meticulously for my eyes. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Great experience. The sushi I was served on both visits was fresh and flavorful, and all the rolls are at prices that are about average for the area. The waitress (owner?) who served me was very kind, and also provided a free appetizer for our group on my second visit. Their menu is expansive too. This will definitely become one of the more frequently visited places nearby for me. Highly recommended!

Great food! Ordered the Crispy Duck, Lettuce Wrap, Scallion Pancakes, mango avocado roll, and fried rice and it was amazing. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Fuku provides one of the best sushi experiences I've ever had.

Chef Zheng is personable and extremely knowledgeable. He presented us beautiful dishes tailored to our tastes. The fish was fresh, creamy and high quality.

The staff was quick, attentive and very friendly.

Overall, Fuku provides a fresh experience that is tailor made to your tastes. If you're looking for a more curated affair, the menu contains many interesting and diverse set of dishes.

Sushi was delicious . well priced.. I went and ordered take out and staff was extremely welcoming and friendly.. Invited me to sit at a table and gave me some warm saki for the wait.. Will definitely return
