Unfussy strip-mall Thai cafe offering a long menu of curries, noodles & coffee drinks.
The massaman curry with tofu was very good. I wish the potatoes were a bit more noticeable but overall still enjoyable because the flavor of the actual curry was good. The spring rolls are okay - a tad too greasy and flavor wasn’t anything amazing. My boyfriend had the panang curry and seemed to enjoy it. The mango sticky rice was eh - I loooooove mango sticky rice and this just didn’t do it for me. The rice didn’t seem infused with coconut as well as I’d hope and they were SEVERELY lacking when it came to the coconut cream. Kinda just tasted like mango with gummy rice. I’ve had much better. Staff are very kind. Atmosphere is cheap and somewhat dingy. So overall, I’m open to coming back but there’s room for improvement. I likely will just use it as take-out going forward.
Awesome food! Penang curry and Red curry and Hot Pot we thoroughly enjoyed. Kids loved the curry and perfect level Mild spice.
Fast very good service.
Nice job quiet place, only area they can improve upon is Decor, feels dated.
Izzy, the front host is amazing! She was super quick to take our order and was kind and friendly throughout. My family and I are vegan and Dee Thai consistently makes sure to omit any non-vegan ingredients so we can enjoy more off the menu. My only critique is the quality can be inconsistent in flavor and portion size but 9/10 times I’m still satisfied and feel like I got my money’s value. Thank you Dee Thai for being such a great neighborhood Thai restaurant!
Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Delicious food and very reasonably priced. Service was great as well. Highly recommend this spot.
Edit. So since our first visit, we have been back to this restaurant three more times. Food, flavors, and service were always great and consistent. I must say this is now our favorite spot in Alpharetta /John's Creek to enjoy Thai food.
Let me sum it up in another way- this place is the ultimate combination of flavor, quantity, and price. Great flavors. Large quantity. Great price!
This was the best Thai Restaurant in the Alpharetta area. Spicy Catfish was my son’s favorite item in this restaurant. I used to love their Drunken Noodles. But it looks like the ownership has been changed recently. New folks are not customer-friendly, and food quality deteriorated.
It's a strip shopping center restaurant a few doors down from the Kroger so we were pleasantly surprised to find this nice atmosphere and tasty Thai! Service was prompt and courteous. The red curry was just the right spicy-ness and rice noodles had a sweetness. We'll be back!
Grabbed take out.
Had the green pork curry, pad thai, and spring rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious. Will be coming back soon.

Been here several times but today I ordered the curry and it was very watery ,the shrimp very few and tiny not worth the price today.
This place should have a michelin star just for their tom yum soup. The best i’ve ever tasted in my life, and I’ve eaten at a LOOOOT of thai restaurants.
We have been coming to Dee Thai for years and have enjoyed our experiences on every occasion. Excellent food, selection, service, atmosphere and location! Our waitress Izzy always does an amazing job. Highly recommend 👌 👍.
DO NOT BUY! I was a frequent customer but in my recent order I found a BUG. Called both ubereats and Dee Thai for a refund and neither helped. The owner of Dee Thai was rude, unhelpful, and even threatened to call the cops on me if I told her customers that they're selling bugs in the food. This was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had and I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND eating from here unless you want extra protein from bugs. Worst restaurant in history. You've lost a customer for life.
Good value. Good food.
I’ve been coming here for 15 or so years for my local Thai cravings. Always quick, most of the time very tasty.
If ur looking for some Thai in Alpharetta JC for a good price, this is the place to go.
Pad Kee Mao Chicken Hot (medium if u need to)
Pad Thai chicken Hot
Tom yum soup shrimp and chicken hot
U won’t regret the above order. Enjoy!
The best pad Thai around! Will never go anywhere else
Extremely rude. They package our to-go order sloppily and the food spilled in bag. They refuse to remake it even after we showed them the food. Never got to eat it. They also refuse to refund the order. Hung up during when we asked for refund. Never ever going back to this location.
Lunch takeout was great. They were great with letting me substitute out veggies
Food was absolutely delicious. They close at 9pm, but got there at 8:35 and food was made right on time. Tasted great and there was no rush. I highly recommend. The services were good. The workers didn’t complain about the closing soon. They patiently waited till we were done before they decided to close
Good this food at reasonable prices and good service
Aweful spicy 🌶️
Tasty food. Empty restaurant.
I consistently got takeout here through the pandemic and loved it. A year ago, I moved to the other side of Alpharetta. Today I had a craving so ordered take out. I was shocked at the change. Staff seemed different, house fried rice had only one piece of tomato. And most shockingly, half a bug in my food.
Will not be returning. So disappointed because it had excellent house fried rice. Health rating is A but hasn’t been inspected for nearly 3 years. I would bet that’s changed.
The staff is extremely rude. They do not understand the basic courtesy of talking to a customer. The worst ever experience I have had at a restaurant.
Great service!
The drunken noodle is amazing!!
By far a great dining establishment, very cosy and great staff. Recommend for a casual family/ date night!
THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Fresh, tasty and hot!!! Highly recommend!! Will be back again. ✨⭐️
Great food authentic food I have been going for years
Quality of this place has gone down and owners are now very rude and unwelcoming
It was sooo good several years ago!
Ordered the pad thai with chicken, spicy catfish, and mango sticky rice. the pad thai was a taddy bit sweet, but the extra peanuts made it so good, the spicy crayfish was pretty good too, love the eggplants in there! the mango sticky rice is pretty good. Overall the restaurant is amazing, everything is great, altho the atmosphere is a bit dark, due to lack of lighting, but overall, like i said, it’s great! thanks for such good food.
Soooo yummy!!!
Very good food. Good value and good portion sizes. We enjoyed this place!!! We will return!

The Dee Thai fried rice is always delicious.
Love the authentic Thai food. Have been coming here for years and always consistently good. Basil rolls are divine along withe the mango rice desert.
The food quality and service has dramatically changed for the worse. There are many great Thai restaurants in the metro Atlanta area. This isn’t one of them. Spicy Fish tasted old and spoiled. Didn’t receive rice paid for!
Delicious food. Had a good experience every time we’ve been there. Service is super nice.
We had the food delivered, so maybe it’s different in person. This was some of worst Thai food I’ve had, ever. I’d love to chalk it up to a bad day and I’ll try it again (based on other reviews), but it was almost inedible. I didn’t know that chicken could be that overcooked. We tried several popular dishes and all of them were disappointing. I would ask for my money back, but technically we got the food we ordered.
The manager has recently been changed in Dee Thai. The previous guy has an excellent customer care attitude. But the new guy is very rude. He is also inflexible to customize the menu and very poorly communicated that to my wife. I used to go to this restaurant weekly twice. But, it looks like, I need to stop going if this guy will continue to behave like this.
Have always loved Dee Thai. I hate that the current economy is hurting my favorite restaurants. Very few eggs in my pad Thai. Every bite tastes like old tap water. Canned beans. TINY pieces of broccoli. I hate to leave bad reviews for mom and pops, but I’d rather restaurants hear the feedback and hopefully make a change… even of it means charging more to get the quality customers are used to. I’d rather pay a dollar or two more and actually enjoy my meal.
Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Delicious food and very reasonably priced. Service was great as well. Highly recommend this spot.

We love this restaurant for take out. Great food, good prices and large portions.
I wrote my first review 3 years ago but had to edit it because no one should be misled by my initial review. In the past 2 years quality has gone down and down some more to the point the food has become inedible. Tonight I have had enough. I am done supporting your business. I have given you one chance after another but I keep on being disappointed. This is the straw that broke the Camel's back. The Pad Thai (chicken) was so bad I could not eat more than a few bites and I really tried to eat it (I was so hungry). I wanted it to be my taste buds... but it was not me... It was just nasty, sticky, dry and only deserving to meet my compost pile.
Review in 2018: The pad Thai is delicious and priced at $10.95 with chicken. Many dishes around the $10-13 price range and portions are generous. We'll be back.
Love their Green curry and Masaman curry
Best Thai food in Atlanta. I’m obsessed.
Always a must when I’m in the area.
First time, good is very tasty. Great service and good prices
Always high quality food every time. Been going here 8+ years and always been the same authentic Thai quality you would get in Thailand!!!!
I ordered the drunken noodle which chicken which is my favorite from any Thai restaurant. It had NOOOO TASTE just grease. And always when I got home their was nooo chicken :( :( :( I’m sad
Its just sugar in pad thai, i have not tasted any other items here so wanted to be fair and give 2 stars.. but the pad thai was eewww..
My favorite Thai restaurant in the area! I was in a hunt to finding thai food that hits the spot, went to a couple top rated places in the area and downtown Atlanta (including an upscale fine dining restaurant). But the winner is Dee Thai and they really are a hidden gem. The waiter is really friendly and sweet and takes good care of everyone! Panang curry , pad thai, and the drunken noodles are my favorites. Whenever I crave Thai i head over to Dee thai!
Great food but remember medium is super spicy!!
This was the first time I ordered 3 dishes and all of them were cooked with frozen green beans not properly cooked and tasted bad
Portions are good, tastes better than those $$$ restaurants
I live for this place. I can say this is the best Thai curry I ever had. I’ve tried all of their curries and Dee Thai nails the recipe on all of them. Their broth is always consistent and has a great balance of vegetables. I come here regularly and I’m always happy with their fast service.
This is the BEST THAI RESTAURANT EVER!!! When I come here I always get their Panang Chicken Curry, Pad Thai, and Drunken Noodles...and I am never disappointed!! The people here are always sooooo sweet. Their dishes are really big and my husband and I always end up taking alot of leftovers.
I also tried the green curry...it was YUMMM!! Another favorite of mine to add to the list.
It is the only thai restaurant where quality and quantity are available at reasonable prices...and trust me I know my Thai food!! 😀
Great food and extremely quick service.
We ordered Basil rice with chicken and spring rolls. The food was just not good. I took three bites and quit.
We came here for dinner and had great experience. Tasty and well prepared dishes.
I truly love the food here, it came highly recommended so I thought I’d give it a go, so happy I did! We had the lunch menu combo. The food was tasty and delicious! The staff were patient and friendly with our large group. We had a great lunch experience!
The best Thai restaurant I've been to. Sweet, fresh, food. Friendly staff. Neat and quiet.
Great, meals. Good price; we when there for lunch and they offer many vegetable dishes which are very convenient for been vegan, they also included coconut soup with the lunch specials which you can have with chicken or tofu. Very delicious
I came in for lunch it was really good, fast service
Go to for Thai. Always tasty, and the folks that work here are pleasant and sweet. Rooting for you guys, hope things improve.
Their Thai Basil fried is the best!
Good food and great portions!! I will definitely be back for more
Very good Thai food and friendly staff. We have done takeout a few times and dine in. Nice joint for good Thai food.
One of the best Thai restaurant in my opinion. Taste was real Thai ,spices ,original wao!
Good food and portion.
Good people, great service, excellent food
Middle of the road...
I have been ordering from Dee Thai for over a decade now and their food is always delicious and consistent. I usually order the Massaman currywith shrimp and it will always be my favorite dish from Dee Thai. I always receive great service when I ever I dine in or order take out. I will continue to eat this amazing restaurant forever. Thank you!
I got food poisoning from eating here and was violently sick. I would never, ever eat here again.
Great prices, great service, great food. Want more?
Great food, friendly staff
The food and service is always good. Their togo is always busy. I always get their soft shell in curry with xtra basil leaves with a Singha...amazing.
Delicious food and very fair prices. Best Thai tea in town!
We love this place! Great Thai food around Johns Creek area. Always love Thai food since it’s very similar to some good ole down home soul food cooking. My favorite is their combination fried rice and Panag mixed veggies with chicken!
mediocre thai food... not much taste or spice. was disappointed and will not be back
Excellent Thai food, good service, reasonable pricing. Have had the drunken noodle and pad thai. Both are excellent. The best we’ve found in the area.
The Pad Thai is great!
Delicious food and large portions
We took Basil fried rice with vegetables. The taste was ok ok. I felt the sauces/spices were less but the aroma was good.
The front desk employee was polite!
My new favorite Thai place. Absolutely decadent delicious curry dishes. A+
Loved the fried rice!
I absolutely ADORE this restaurant! The customer services in top notch and everything that I've eaten on the menu is delicious! You cannot go wrong with Dee Thai!
Best Thai food in the area. Great service. Very clean environment. Taste is consistently delicious. Highly recommend this spot!
First visit here and it was a good experience. I really liked the Thai fried rice.
We have been dining at this restaurant for 3 years now and I am revising my rating from 4 to 2 stars. Quality has gone steadily down hill with a steady increase in price. Time to move on to another thai restaurant.
Best Green Curry ever. I love to get it with extra sauce on the side. Simple but excellent.
Food was good.
Delicious, the chicken Pad Thai was fantastic, the entrees awesome, we ordered fried calamari and basil rolls, they hit the spot!!!
Highly recommended !!!
Thank you, we will come back for sure.
Did not go
My husband and I stopped in for a bite to eat last minute after we were already in the shopping plaza and hungry! Didn’t know what to expect, except we love a good Thai Curry, Wow!!! The restaurant may have been a bit run down and out of date... but you wouldn’t know it as the SERVICE and FOOD were AMAZING! So fresh, and definitely homemade. We will be back soon!!!👍
Frequent lunch spot!!! Great curries and wife noodles.
Flavorless - apparently saying I want my food medium spicy means less than mild and flavorless. It wasn't good years ago when I tried it. I figured I'd try again. Just a waste of $11.
Pretty good, dessert was the best
The food is excellent and affordably priced. It sppears to be family run and the service is quick, respectful and the atmosphere is elegant yet hospitable.
Fantastic food. Stopped in for takeout on a weeknight. Ordered the yellow curry with steamed rice and an order of house fried rice. All were fantastic! Veggies were cooked perfectly in the yellow curry. Flavor was delicious. Will be back for sure!
Food is ok But the menu is pretty dull. Collection of beer is limited to corona and bud. First Thai place that doesn’t have Kirin. If you are looking for a rather inexpensive Thai place this is it. NOT at all for special occasions.
Was excited to try this place out and seeing the pictures and reviews. First time here and had pick up. I Ordered pad see ew and got something I never had. It was gross and couldn't eat it. I even said it has the dark brown soy sauce. Do you see any dark soy sauce? No egg.... N I've had thai food my whole life obviously cause I'm thai so I know what it should taste like. Who ever cooked it maybe in training or learning still. Wasted my money n lunch time. Specially when I was craving it really bad. Such a disappointment.
Unusually good
The best Thai food we have tried all over the John's Creek area. Highly recommend eating here, nothing will disappoint you here. My favorite is the spicy red curry.
These guys make nice food, but i bought noodles yesterday and it was worst ever. So iam rating them low now.
Love it very much it was very fresh food and the staff was very helpful helping us with the menu and the atmosphere was great enjoyed vm.
My old neighborhood. I eat there when I can
Fast service and food was yummy.
Thai fried rice was not tasty. The location was not clean. Sticky bar. Gross carpet... just no. Thankfully I ordered “to-go” but unfortunately got home and the rice had no taste. I highly recommend Thai squared, this place need a complete revamp.
Soup was coconut milk with water.no taste.Red curry without veg.. mentioned.the curry was also diluted with water.this is not Thai food at all
A simple place with good tasting food. I enjoyed a pork masamun curry, and my husband said he really liked the flavor of his pork pad kee mao. There were no kids menu options, but my daughter was very happy with her pad thai with tofu (although she picked the green onions out).
Overall the flavors were pretty mild, with just a little bit of spice (including the "spicier" dish, pad kee mao), so I think anyone who can't handle too much spice would enjoy them.
Hands down, this is my favorite Thai restaurant in Atlanta. The food, the service, the presentation of the food is always perfect. You must go here, even the most critical foody would love this place.
The Seafood Noodle lunch was excellent. Nice, clean, friendly.
This place has amazing food! I just wish it was always open!
Great food. Fast and friendly service. Will go back again.
Good foods, Great price !!
Just moved to live in Alpharetta
New for us. But we love Thai foods
Looking for Thai food. Stop by with my family
Not disappoint at all.
Coconut soup come out with great
Noodle it was amazing
Will come back. Thanks
Food is great. Our favorite takeout or dine-in Thai spot.
How haven't I found this before? Place is legit A.F.. Great value and spice. Spring rolls were amazing. If you want it Thai spicy. You gotta ask though.
Good food,
Tasty food around good service
Awesome Thai food 😁
Very nice place, friendly staff. I had the masaman curry chicken which was delicious. It was intensely flavorful. Comes with spring roll or soup. They close midday so I'm glad we just made it for lunch at 1:40pm. I would go again and try some of the other dishes.
Never had a bad meal, fresh and good...always.
It was delicious and the portions were big!
Average Thai with harsh service and a non trendy diner feel
In NYC you walk into a dumb but get incredible Thai food. Here felt similar, the bathrooms even worse, but instead was met with average massaman curry and sad coconut soup. At least it had cashews.
My food did come quickly but again was disappointed. And this is close to an area of Georgia known for excellent Asian cuisine.
If you want some quick food with average quality then you will be happy. Don’t expect anything amazing
Luv their green curry & coconut soup!
Slow service at lunch (the place was not busy). The food was just ok. Outdated decor. Not going back.
My wife and I eat the Pad Thai here all the time. Delicious!
I ordered the Panang curry and it was just awesome! Will come again!
Awesome food, large portions...the owner was really nice and brought the food outside to my car...highly recommend!
The food is super delicious. Pad Kee Mao with Egg and Tofu is really good. Once by mistake they made Rice, but when I told them I had asked for Noodles, they changed it without too many questions. Excellent service.
The food is best you can find in Alpharetta! Staffs are extremely friendly.
