I've been to many thai restaurants & this one by far takes the cake. We had the spicy dumplings and duck roti for appetizers, both amazing. The Drunken noodles and the pad thai also delicious. The flavors are so we'll balanced between sweet & spicy & the portions are generous. I had enough for lunch the next day!
Picked up food togo. Ready in a timely manner with all correct items and sauces but the real treat was the contents. This was my first visit and I ordered the appetizer with 2 Crab Rangoon pieces & 2 egg rolls along with 6 steamed pork dumplings. Everything was amazing but the crab rangoon might be the best I’ve ever had. They were so plump and the filling was the perfect balance of creamy and meaty and the fried warpper wasn’t too thick like most. Can’t wait to try an entree!
Nice ambiance, intimate location. They have BYOB and charge $1 per person. The food was pretty good and prepared quite well. The stuffed wings turned out being delicious especially with the sweet sauce.
The Duck Roti was fire whatever bread they use for the wrap... I can eat it by itself. Now my crispy Duck was good but the crispy part was missing unfortunately.
A great find for authentic Thai food. Plenty of parking and space on a weekend night. Got the duck roti for appetizer. Got the recommended pik khing pork and fried flat noodle with chicken. Both tasted very yummy. Unfortunately we felt like they were very similar taste and would have been better choice to get a beef or another flavor. Very nice staff. Recommended!
Great food and really great service. Nice atmosphere and really clean too. I’ll definitely be going back.

Inside is clean and food is good! Kate is so kind staff!
Food is delicious. We love it. 🥰😋
We had an excellent dinner and greatly appreciated the quality ingredients and assortment of vegetarian options. Service was excellent. We’ll definitely return.
Excellent food and service, we came in without knowing it was minutes before close and they politely accommodated us and we received delicious takeout quickly
Food here is unbelievable. I don’t usually leave reviews but this place has never disappointed. I have been a few different times and tried some different meals and they are spot on every time. Highly recommend if you you are considering.
Great

Delicious food
Favorite Thai spot at the moment. The Thai tea is not too sweet, the red curry is spicy and flavorful, and the pork fall dish Thai spicy is ACTUALLY spicy!!! Love love love it
Food is delicious and at a reasonable price.
Staff is very friendly. Food is what you’d expect and presented nicely. Not a lot of in-dinning, more take-away, but they do have plenty of of tables to eat at.
Absolutely amazing and fresh food. Ordered the Panang Curry and freshly fried vegetable spring rolls. Will be back!
Dang good
HORRIBLE FOOD ! Ordered from the is place last night.. Probably the worst I’ve ever eaten. My entire family has a stomach upset
Food is delicious, reasonably priced and portion sizes are decent. One suggestion, if take-out orders for hot items are packed in non-plastic containers, it would be great.
Best Pad See Ew and Tom Yum soup
We ordered from Ubereats. Food was packaged well. The basil fried rice, green curry, drunken noodles, and pad Thai.
Basil fried rice was flavorful. The pad Thai was a bit on the sweeter side and was good, but not authentic. Drunken noodles and green curry were average. They are “American spicy” and they seem to only use crushed red pepper for the spicy, which wasn’t as flavorful as other places we have ordered from.
A little pricey but worth it. Large portions of authentic, rich, and complex Thai food. The khao soi and chicken larb are my favorite dishes to get.
Came in for the first time wanting to try out something new. Got the Lao Rolls as an appetizer and the Crispy Pork Belly entree. Both were superb. The Lao Rolls had a great texture and the mushroom and chicken combination was a fantastic flavor. The pork belly was indeed crispy and served with bell peppers and fragrant Thai basil all in a delicious sauce.
The menu has so many other delicious sounding dishes so we plan on returning.
Food is good.
Food was awesome and server was very nice
Beautiful place to dine. Clean and serene. Delicious food ❤️
I keep going back there. Courteous staff.
Best yellow curry we’ve had in the DFW area!! So delicious and great service/prices!
Just had the chicken curry …. WOW! First time eating here and I’ll keep coming back!
Great place, lots of great recommendations, great service and people. Simply bland. Average at best.
It has been years since ive been in the area to try the food again. Food is amazing, however, i do not like the automatic service fee. Just bc i eat out once in a while does not mean i need to spend an arm an a leg. Service fee is tipping, i should have the discretion, if any, to tip. Tipping culture is getting ridiculous that ppl and business think is the norm for them not properly paying your staff. Its not my or anyones responsibility to pay your employees wages, i pay for the products the food. Bc ik you do not tip everyone at every interaction you have that is none food based. Bc they are doing their job.
HOLY MOTHER! & GOOD GOD! I don’t think I’ve tried Drunken Noodles before, in general, but I decided to try it cause I love fat rice noodles and it was sooo addictingly good. It’s definitely now my favorite and I’ll definitely order more in the near future! I got mild and it had a nice kick to it. The next day, I also tried their Yellow Curry because there was a promo and it’s equally delicious! Their quality of food is great, great portions along with their generous protein portion, and with delivery, the food was still warm and I live 30+ minutes away. I’m so glad I found this place and can’t wait to try everything else on their menu!
They tried to charge me $2.50 for a side of steamed rice for my already overpriced soup. The store owner yelled at me. No wonder this restaurant is always dead. No compassion or appreciation for customers.

Pad Thai is the best in Dallas. Level four spicy is perfect. Really good lunch special as well.
This place was awesome! Recommended by the bartender across the street. Crab Rangoons were the best. Also loved the cut roti. Will go back
Great restaurant and very kind wait staff. 10 stars!! Best red curry that I've had in years!
They have the best BBQ pork fried rice I've ever had!! The pork still has fat on it. Chunky 🐷
Relaxing atmosphere. Piano music in the background. Very sweet lady as my waitress
Thank you
I love the food and the waiter. I feel bad, can't remember his name, but he is so nice. Thank you
My favorite Thai restaurant in Dallas
The food and service was wonderful! I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing atmosphere to relax and have a fantastic bite to eat.
Crispy pork!!!!!!!!!
Excellent Thai dishes overall. I mostly ordered takeouts and all items were good. I like the basil fried rice with ground chicken...spicy level 4. You can't go wrong with the various curry dishes as well.
Great place for lunch! Good quality!
A great find for authentic Thai food. Plenty of parking and space on a weekend night. Got the duck roti for appetizer. Got the recommended pik khing pork and fried flat noodle with chicken. Food was great and the host was very polite, helpful and charismatic.
Best Thai food in Dallas! I get takeout from here once a week. Highly recommend.
Good customer service and a very nice restaurant
Pros: yellow curry was delicious. White rice cooked to be perfectly sticky.
Cons: veggie spring rolls sucked as they were mostly lettuce
Would definitely order from here again!
UPDATE: To be honest I've been back here a ton. They've got great food and everyone I've brought has gone back.
Phenomenal! Had a really great time here with friends yesterday. My only complaint is the hot temperature inside but it doesn’t take away from how delicious our plates were.
Yumhuu Thai Restaurant
Has many vegan/vegetarian options. Love the Panang curry, Yellow curry and lo mein noodles. Good service.
We ate off the lunch menu. Both the tofu and the chicken were great. Affordable.
nung took care of us! best customer service
Crazy how a couple plants and light fixtures can change a place. This place is a viiiube now x)
Verywell
Pineapple fried rice is amazing.
Good food, laid back atmosphere, and quick friendly service. What more can one ask for. Things that could have been better - the water had a bit of after taste.
Stumbled upon this restaurant last night and was pleasantly surprised by the incredible food, and excellent service of the team there.
GO FOR THE BEST THAI FOOD IN CENTRAL DALLAS.
I highly recommend the duck roti, and Khao soi. Go. Feast. And thank me later.
waiting. Waiting. Waiting. 25 minutes late and going for pickup.
Food is reliably good though.
The best Thai food I've had in a long time! The service was amazing (which is lacking these days) the stuffed wing was flavorful and not overpowering and the crispy pork belly noodle soup was the most delicious broth and crispy pork belly I've ever had. This place needs to be on your must try list! The flavors come together nicely and no spice is overpowering. My next to try list are the curries. Nice job peeps!
The stuffed chicken wing is soooo satisfying and yummy.
Absolutely my favorite thai place, I have never eaten such good food, the spices they use are perfect. Keep up the great work!!!
Terrible orange chicken, the broccoli tasted like tap water, the shrimp dumplings were watery and the mushroom sauce was literally cold. The best post about this place was the mural.
This place is amazing, the white pad Thai in particular is the bomb! Great quality and fast when you get delivery
Love this place! So glad that they have vegetarian options. The food is delicious, the staff members are nice, and the store looks good. Can't wait to come back! :)
Delicious beef pad Thai 🤤
I'm in love w their White Pad Thai! No tamarind sauce on the noodles. Tasty, healthy, good. I love their spicy dumplings, also their shrimp dumplings as well. Their food is fresh, cooked well. Staff is friendly and the music/ambience is as well. It's one of my favorite new places to eat at, order from.
Was some of the best pad Thai I've had
Great food and service
I walked in not expecting too much. However, the service was almost as excellent as the meal. I will be back again!
Only eaten her once. Pad Thai, veggie egg roll, Thai tea. Excellent. Rightly priced. Might be my favorite Thai restaurant.
I've ordered take out from here a few times. My favorite has to be the White Pad Thai. Food is always a good temperature, spicy levels are good. Give a top Thai spot in the area.
Authentic Thai food.I say skip the usual Thai food you always get at regular Thai restaurants like pad thai or curry and be adventurous.Tried various dishes I wouldn’t get at normal Thai restaurants-pork belly noodles,a dumpling appetizer & dessert was sticky rice with coconut custard.Everything was excellent!!Food that reminded of my visits to Thailand.
Food was ok. Drinks where not good, even the beer was warm. Very slow service
Amazing food, reminded us of our favorite mom-and-pop Thai restaurant. Tried multiple dishes, excellent authentic flavors. Affordable, fast, delicious!!
Spicy basil sauce was on point! Fantastic food. BYOB!!!!!
Everything we ordered was good, so we will come back and try other items. We ordered Thai salad, spring rolls, fried tofu, and cashew chicken
Fave Thai place in the neighborhood
Sakhuu is in a tough spot of being pretty good in a city filled with pretty good Thai options. The great thing is that it's not very busy and you get a huge order every time. Skip appetizers and go straight to entrées. The pad Thai was great but had way too much sauce. Each entree I tried could have been slicer. Most times you order lower spice just in case order higher here. I'd return and enjoy my time, but I'd explore the menu further.
Tried the pad thai medium spice. It was tastey with all of the typical pad thai ingredients. My portion was a tad on the small side from experience so I regret not getting an appetizer. Friendly staff was a plus.
Would army crawl through broken glass for their Tom Kha recipe. Absolutely unreal flavor. Get this and thank me. I also had their Crispy Pork Belly Entree which was insanely flavorful. Portion sizes were big and Entree's come on almost comically large serving platters. My friends got the Drunken Noodles and the Beef Fried Rice - both were top tier.
Sakhuu is in my rotation forever. They have BYOB for a $1/PP charge. Interior is nice and intimate - would be a solid option for date nights.
BBQ Pork Fried Rice and Tofu Pad Thai was amazing! Great service, we are so glad we found this gem.
Everything clean and the food 😋 unbelievable.
Giving this place a two star since they don't have their story together. I buy at least twice a month because my daughter loves one of their dishes. They have a lunch hour special which includes one appetizer and one drink. Lately every time I walk in the special changes even though their printed and online menu state differently. Last time you could not choose an appetizer, this time you had to pay extra for the drink. Apparently the owner changes his mind frequently is the answer I got from the cashier today.
Superior real Thai food that has flavor. Not a flat Americanized taste. Yes, authentic. Restrooms clean. Simple but clean and dining room. Service excellent. Great Thai food !
Subpar customer service with average Thai food. The server only had two dine in customers. Kept on watching TV instead paying attention. Messed up my order first initially. Figured I didn’t wanna send the food back. There’s no unique taste to dish I tried. Just tastes mediocre.
Fantastic food at a great price. Quality ambience and a great experience for a chill lunch.
pad thai and curry are excellent
Came in here for a weekday lunch and I must say that the ambiance is very pleasing. The service here is completely terrible. The waiter didn’t acknowledge us when we got in. We greeted him a couple of times and he vividly ignored us. We waited for about ten minutes before he finally attended to us (mind you, it was not a busy restaurant day). He finally starts to take our orders, but done in a hasty manner. We couldn’t even ask him for recommendations because he was really unwelcoming. We ordered the stuffed chicken and I must say that it was very terrible. The basil fried rice and drunken noodles were executed excellently nonetheless. When the bill arrived, we closed out and headed to our car. The waiter chases us to our car and mandates that we include a tip as it was not a fast food restaurant. This was such an unpleasant visit and I don’t recommend this place for dine in. The waiter’s name is Nu (Noo).
Find of the Fall at Sakhuu Thai this evening...
LAO EGGROLL. Sakhuu should consider renaming themselves "Sakhuu Thai and Laotion". They are under new ownership, after all.
This is as impressive a dish as their Stuffed Chicken Wings.
Great meal this evening...
Fish cake appetizer ($7)
Lao Eggroll ($8)
Pad Thai ($12)
Crab Meat Fried Rice ($15)
all delicious! And BYOB! No surprise that their takeout business is so robust.
Delicious food.
Of all the Thai in the city, this is the best. I have never been disappointed and I order from them at least twice a month- they are my go to takeout and delivery. I also appreciate that they offer extra meat as an option with every dish, yes it costs extra as it should, but most Thai places don't even give you the option- makes it so easy to eat leftovers the next day. It's always been great, but tonight was some of the best I've had. Keep it up, Sakhuu!!!!
Great food and great atmosphere. The portions are large and filling. Great options for Vegans or vegetarians.
Everyone needs to try this place. May not look like much but their food is fantastic. I have yet to be disappointed with what I order and I’ve been to just about every other similar place in the area. This is my main go to.
Their lunch special is an awesome value! I've eaten here twice with my husband and both times it was great. I don't think you can go wrong with any dish. We will be back for sure!
Everything was good, but not in the excellent territory.
Get the duck roti. WOW!!!!
They have delicious food! I will order from here every time for Thai food!
Nice little place. Open in limited capacity for seating, busy take out service, clean, friendly, delicious white pad thai and orange chicken.
One of two Thai restaurants that we frequent within Dallas city limits. Definitely the best flavor, quality, and price.
loooooved the food, the peanut sauce is incredible
Ordered Uber eats, it came hot and fresh. The sizzling grilled salmon was amazing!!
Great that food
Sakhuu has been my Thai spot for the last 2 4 years. Mia and her team are incredibly friendly.
The food is consistently delicious. They are in a small shopping center with a parking lot, so parking is a breeze.
They are BYOB, so I always visit with a couple beers or a bottle of wine.
Apps: EVERY visit I start with the stuffed wings. Once you try them, you can't not get them. They are fried crisp with a sweet sauce coating. The spicy steamed dumplings are also a favorite of mine.
Entrees: I've cycled through a few usuals in the last 2 years. The Pad Thai is delicious. Spicy, Sweet and I love the peanut crunch. Then I went through my curry phase. The yellow curry with Chicken is mild and comforting with potatoes and carrots. The green curry is at minimum a spice level 3. A nice burn. It was recommended with pork and it was delicious.
My current usual is the crispy thai basil.
I love the crispy texture of the protein and crunch of the bell peppers.
Everything I've tried here has been delicious. This is a spot I am always happy to bring first timers and visitors from out of town.
Sakhuu is also very active on social media. Check out the pages to see Mia's latest creations.
Me and my pals had a great time. And its byob.
Oh my gosh this place is a diamond in the rough. Great ambiance with gourmet Thai cuisine. The food was just delicious and well represented. The server was awesome. I never had to ask for water, napkins, or anything. Just had a overall wonderful experience.
Great full flavor food! Had the Crispy duck curry Phenomenal lol was very good. The only criticism I have is I ordered 4 out 5 spicy and it was more of a 2 or 3 on the spicy scale to me but that's objective of course. Had a couple of appetizers as well everything I tried was great.
Every plate has its own combination of flavors! I ordered the Bangkok Noodles and absolutely loved the peanut sauce. The waitress warned that not all customers like the sauce but it was a fantastic creamy buttery peanut glaze. We ordered both desserts and the fried bananas with coconut ice cream were perfectly crunchy and sweet! Loved this dining experience. ❤️
Really good food! Awesome staff! I loved the multiple options that they offer. Unique food!
We love the food! The place is a bit run down and the service has a lot to improve. The food makes up for it.
Have ordered to go here a few times and it is always delicious! The yellow curry is amazing.
Great hole in the wall spot for authentic Thai. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was great but taste was a little bland compared to other local places.
I had a perfectly nice dinner here... generous portions of pork in a huge mound of fried rice. Good iced tea. The waiter (owner?) really hustled. Service was fast and professional. The space was small, yet artistically pleasing. Price was reasonable. And, you'll never guess what "sakhuu" means in English... "Thai". Wow, huh?
I'm so sorry that I didn't get a picture of my dinner. I just can't remember. When the food shows up I'm on it. I'll get better.
Fabulous green curry.
Massive quality drop since the good reviews. We ordered 4 things this time each problematic.
1) Stuffed wings: really overcooked and hard to chew, flavorless stuffing.
2) Duck roti: undercooked, straight up raw dough wrapped around duck.
3) Tom Kha: overboiled, the coconut milk separated. Surprised they actually served a bowl with chunks of coconut solids floating / clinging to the sides.
4) Crispy basil chicken: overfried, batter was burnt.
Just for fun, terrible service. Had to leave our table to find our waitress after 20 minutes, and was told to sit down and wait. Will not return.
If you go to a restaurant just to "be seen" and admire the decor.. This place is not for you. If you love good, quality, delicious, authentic Thai food... Then this is definitely the place you want to eat at. The food is excellent! It's a pretty small dining area, lighting is low and the background music is pleasant. Our waitress was very helpful. No outside seating. Curbside delivery activity was very busy and a good indication of the popularity of the place.
M.j or very friendly and takes forever
Excellent taste, great food, great customer services! We're fond of this place. The best Thai food in Dallas, let's try it you will enjoy your meals!
Her spicey dumpling is so good and the curry is so flavorful. Im usually disapointed with other Thai places but I went 2 days in a row to her
Very delicious!!! Jus a bit pricey.
Great food but less quantity!
I'm so happy to finally have tried this place because it is so close and so delicious! I'm always looking for the ultimate green papaya salad and this place hit all the marks. Fresh, spicy feeds 2 people easily with another another entree all for about 30 dollars. Excited to go back!
Love this place! Some things on the menu are better than others, but its consistently good and great service too!
One of the best Thai restaurants in the world in my humble opinion!
Great ambiance and good food
