I really liked this restaurant, I was craving soup because of the weather so I saw a post with the red pork noodles soup so I asked for that one but they don’t make it anymore so I ordered the wonton soup but I added noodles to it, it was really good. But please can you make the red pork noodles soup again, I really want to try it. Also, the fried dumplings were spectacular, I wanted more.

Oh my gosh, the tofu. It is cooked perfectly and is so tasty. If you don’t like tofu, you WILL like it here. Service was great, quick, and friendly. We were impressed and really enjoyed our meal. The flavors, vegetables, and sauce all came together in a really nice way. We will definitely be back.

We were visiting Utah for a week but we went back to Thai Time for a great food time! Their food is fresh and has amazing taste! We had fried rice with chicken and some steamed dumplings along with egg rolls..the taste was delectable!

The curry was so creamy and spicy and the sauce for the crispy pork was delicious. I was really pleased with the spiciness of the food. They do a 0-5 spice scale, I did a 3, which was quite hot (but exactly what I wanted). Food and service was fantastic, if you like thai food definitely give this place a visit!

Come for the service stay for the food. I don’t typically equate small strip-mall restaurants like this with impeccable service nor do I associate Thai food with great service, but our server Morgan was phenomenal. Great recommendations, attentive, and her colleague not only asked if she could fill our water glasses, but made sure they’re never hit empty.

The food was delicious as well. We had the fried dumplings, Pad Kee Mao, and Garlic Stir Fry and all were delicious.

We’ll definitely be back both for takeout and to enjoy the great service!

First time here, it was fantastic. If you are looking for high quality Thai food, this is the place. Well worth the wait, the fried Dumplings were unreal, stuffed with meat served with a sauce I could just drink. The Drunken Noodles were perfect. Would definitely come again.

Fast becoming my favorite Thai in the SLC area. Great soups- the big bowl lives up to its name. Service and atmosphere are great for dining in, or you can take out. Family owned and operated. Not a bad option after skiing in the canyons. I like it mild, but you can get up to 5 stars of heat.

Came in for lunch on a weekday, place was moderately busy. Ordered the drunken noodles which came out very quick and was delicious! Will definitely be back again, great spot for some quick, awesome Thai food.

Went there to go pick up a meal for some co workers and myself, and the sweet lady up front was just absolutely amazing. Just so amazingly sweet :) made the atmosphere just golden. And the Pad Thai, amazing!

I didn't stop thinking in the Red Pork Noodle Soup, my God this soup is amazing, we did have also yellow chicken curry that was delicious. Lauren like always the best, charismatic and kind. Great team and wonderful food.

Last night we were there for dinner, I saw the Red Pork Noodle Soup post on Facebook, of course we needed to try it, this is a small business run by a couple who loves make their customer enjoy their food, they put so much passion on all that they do. Well we tried the soup and is a must for this winter is very savory and yo can pick the spicy that you want. We also had fried dumplings as appetizer, was enough food for us, very well served!!!! Owners of course making sure everything was great in the restaurant and our server as always great.

Well deserved nomination for the Best Thai Restaurant in Salt Lake City, we went tonight for dinner, we wanted some comfort food, for appetizer we had Fried Dumplings and both, my husband and I had Dumpling soup. Everything was delicious, made from scratch and you can tell how much this couple enjoy their business and how much love they put in their plates. Service again amazing, we enjoy a lot visiting them.

Food is fantastic, especially the yellow and green curries. Great service. Not very much seating, probably not enough when very busy. I recommend eating family style.

My wife and I went there last night for dinner and it was simply amazing. We’ve been looking for good Thai food in the Salt Lake City area, now we found it. The service was perfect, the food was incredible, and we will be back for many years to come.

After coming here several times over more than a year since they opened, I have never been disappointed. The service is always warm and friendly, and they’re thoughtful about keeping the service moving even when very busy. The food is second to none in Utah—they blow every other Thai restaurant in SLC out of the water. For the dishes with multiple protein options, the ground pork is an unusual and welcome option from an American Thai restaurant. I’m a loyal customer for life now!

There are a lot of Thai options in SLC and many are pretty decent so I felt like I had a good chance of having a meal I wouldn't hate . What I didn't expect was to have been blown outta the water and hooked in. Maybe becoming my fave Thai restaurant?!

Service is great - understaffed at times but exceptional attention is given to everyone who walks in. Woman owned and you can taste the passion and love they have for their food.

Prices are fair - dining out can be pricey and you're gonna pay $17 for a bowl of curry but the portions are generous and flavors are fresh and consistently on point

✨A rather good investment compared to paying the same for a conventional oven heated sandwich and cafeteria style soup meal at zupas. (No hate on zupas. 😅)

This place is SOOO DELICIOUS! Lauren was our waitress and she was darling! Very kind, attentive, knew the menu well and just did an amazing job! She made us feel welcome and happy we were there instead of annoyed that we were there like most restaurants today. The restaurant was clean cozy and inviting. We got the chefs special, pad see ew and yellow curry. We then ordered the coconut mango sticky rice for dessert! Everything was exceptional! I would highly recommend this place. We live about 30 minutes away and will definitely still be coming back! So good!!!!

First time in and I really wish I had found this place sooner. Spectacular food and wonderful service. Our waitress Morgan deserves an award for her friendly, helpful, and welcoming service. Try the dumpling appetizer (you can get it steamed or fried, I highly recommend fried). The whole experience was perfect.

Visiting from Texas was looking for some spicy Thai food and this place delivered! The fried dumplings were fantastic with a super tasty dipping sauce. I ordered the Beef Noodle soup and it was incredibly satisfying. Hubby got the Pad Thai spice lvl 5 and the heat was no joke. He hasn't been that happy about spicy food in forever. I wish we could take this place back with us!

Service and food were awesome. Our server was running the entire floor, and handling to go orders like a boss. Zero stall in cordiality or even a hint of stress. The egg rolls, drunken noodles, and yellow curry were wonderful. Loved all of it.

Eat HERE!!! I got the (cashew) nut stir fry. It did not disappoint! So yummy!! I ate half before i took a picture. And you can have a zero spice and be just fine if you're sensitive to spice, as I am. So the zero star people should have picked zero heat the same way!

We were looking for our new favorite Thai spot as our last one was killed by COVID. This place is is it. All the usual Thai dishes, and you can customize the spice level for most of them. The wait staff were quite helpful and had personal insights that they shared with us. The wife can't handle a lot of spice and they were able to deliver that with their massaman. Of course I could amp up the spice if I wanted to with a side of spice that I could add to my plate.

I got the basil fried rice w chicken and will come back just for that if nothing else. I tried the laab salad and did not like the dressing at all and I don't mind vinegar.

Fantastic food and friendly, helpful staff. Almost everything can be made vegan, and when you ask for tofu as a protein the ask specifically if you would like your dish made vegan.

Well I use to be a Simply Thai guy... Not anymore. This place was awesome! Food was great and the service was even better.. Lauren was literally taking care of 5 tables and the clean up and gave us all incredible service. I'm not sure how she was doing it. What an amazing employee.. We will be going here from now on. High quality and very flavorful food. Restaurant was immaculately clean. Loved the pineapple fried rice with chicken, so savory and a little sweet and spicy. Also loved my chicken pad ka prow because Thai basil with garlic is an incredible flavor.

We decided to try this place after seeing the high rating it has. We went on a Saturday night and didn’t have any wait to be seated. Service was great and the food was quite good. Here’s what we ordered:

- Egg rolls: these were essentially spring rolls, they were okay, not great.
- Massaman curry: excellent
- Cashew stir fry w/pork: excellent. Good serving size and medium spice level was perfect, had some heat but not overpowering.

Overall, our experience was great and matched expectations. This will be our #2 Thai spot. We would still give Ying”s the nod as our favorite Thai restaurant. That said, this is a solid Thai establishment with good food, good quality, and great service. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious! We’ve tried a couple different Thai places trying to find our Thai place in Salt Lake, and our search is over! We always get their curries and they are so good—really creamy. Also, their spice levels are spicy—we rarely go above a 2. You won’t regret coming here for Thai!

***Update my 30th visit with my husband. I got the kao soi with chicken level one. With carrots. And it was INCREDIBLE! IT was better than any time I've ever tried it. That or I've discovered a new love.. I might be leaving the yellow curry behind. The Kao Soi is a little more spicey.. you should spice down. Till you figure put the spice level. But I think I have discovered my new fave dish at Thai Time. Kao Soi .. mmm love the fried crunchy wontons on the creamy noodles slurping into your mouth. My husband got the pad See ew with beef. It was excellent. It's so HOT. Your food will never be cold. His dish was sweet but salty too.. the broccoli makes that dish perfect. Even bringing our food home and we live close we still have to wait for our food to cool off. Perfection again! ❤️

This place may be good, but our tofu tasted burned. It gave the pad Thai a weird color and taste. The tofu in the drunken noodles was also burned. The veggie egg rolls were really good. The spice level is 0-6. We got three and my eyes were burning, lol. Recommend a 1 or two spice level.

This Thai place looks unassuming, but it’s seriously underrated. Some of the best curry I’ve had. I’m especially fond of the green curry. If you’re a Thai fiend, definitely give this place a try. The chef is awesome.

Some of the worst Thai food I’ve had in Utah. Not sure why it’s rated so highly. I got pad see ew with chicken. It doesn’t taste like pad sew ew should and I think they may have spiced it with black pepper. Chicken was way too dry.

We eat a lot of Thai food, and this place has the BEST curries and pad Thai! Not to mention, our waitress Lauren was fantastic. We had two toddler that were just losing it, and she went out of her way to be helpful to make the experience better for us. Our new favorite, we'll definitely be back! (If they could get soda machines, that would be a huge bonus, though!)

Small Thai restaurant but definitely big in flavor. The place is clean snd well maintained, staff were super nice and friendly but most of all, the food is super delicious. Super yummy and perfectly seasoned.

We had a curry dish and a stir-fry vegie dish. I can't remember which one took second place in the Best Of State Award. It could have been either one as far as I was concerned. And 1st place by my reckoning. We split everything three ways, beginning with a salad that was recommended by our server. The one with rice noodles and shrimp. I can't remember the name, but it was the last one on the menu. It was excelent.
We ordered level 1 for the hotness. It was just hot enough for my daughter and wife. I like mine hotter, so they brought me a little extra hot sauce and hot crushed and dried pepper. The owner grows, drys and crushes the peppers herself. By the time we were finished with the salad, they had the other dishes out. Very fast service because we had a play to get to.

I'm new to the world of Thai food and I discovered two things. Authentic Thai food is hard for me to eat. Then I found Thai Time. You have tradional Thai food geared for the American taste bud. I literally have been eating here for weeks. The whole experience from the food to the atmosphere at Thai Time is absolute bliss. If you love Thai food, you'll love Thai Time. The one noodle dish with crispy wonton is Kai Soi. The second noodle dish is Pad See Ew. Two dishes I highly recommend. My wife absolutely loves the yellow curry and Kaol soi!

Got the red curry with chicken and it was phenomenal. Huge portion sizes and they gave us extra rice to take home for our leftover curry. I can’t emphasize enough how attentive and friendly the owners and staff are. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of, and I will no doubt be back for more of their delicious Thai food. They said you can swap out the rice for steamed veggies, which is a great option for the low-carb lovers. Highly recommend.

Great Thai dishes! Tried the Chef's Special Chrispy Pork with sticky rice and the Garlic Stir Fry. The dishes were amazing. The crispy pork with the house dipping sauce was such a delightful dish with so many different flavors and textures. The sticky rice is one of the best sticky rices made in the area. Lauren (the server) was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and each dish. Her recommendations were spot on. Definitely coming back to try more dishes.

I have been in SLC for almost two years now, and this is the only restaurant that I always love to go back to with my wife. The quality, flavor and cleanliness is top. Prices are also really reasonable with big plates and portions.

By far the best Thai food I have had in Utah! I had the yellow curry and they were nice enough to substitute onions for the bell peppers. I had a spice level 2 and it was perfect for someone who can only handle a little kick. The veggies were cooked perfectly, the rice was nice and fluffy and the curry was the perfect consistency...not watery, not too thick. This is my new favorite spot when I travel to SLC.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing! Jon and Sprite, the owners, have combined delicious Thai food with a very friendly and inviting atmosphere! Sprite is an amazing chef, and seems to out do herself every time we come for dinner! John is a very warm and friendly person, who often comes out to personally greet us! And the lead server, Lauren, it’s equally incredible. Every time we come in, she remembers the details of what my wife and I like to order in terms of drinks and appetizers! I highly recommend Thai Time to anyone who who wants delicious food, in a warm and caring environment, prepared and served by people who obviously love what they’re doing!

First time going here. Have heard good things so I wanted to try it. Very warm greeting. Told me it'd be the best Thai in Utah that i would ever have. I always get pad thai at a new place. If they can't do it well, i don't go back. They nailed it, although i would have preferred more crushed peanut on top. Portion was good, flavors were tasty and fresh and didn't have that unholy orange color a lot of places have. I'll try the massaman and drunken noodle when I return. I hardly had any left to take a picture.

If you like Thai food, please visit this place. Hidden gem, especially their Kao Soi and Green Curry. I was also 🤏🏻 close to getting their Tom Kha soup it looked so good. This place is like a girl who thinks she’s a 7 but she’s absolutely a 10. Incredible food.

A yummy local gem. We brought the kids here for their first Thai food experience, which is always a risk, but they loved it! The Masaman curry was on point, the Pad See Ew had a lot of flavor and my favorite, the Pad Thai, was great. I love that they indicate Gluten Free when they can for those who need to be aware. The price point was reasonable and the Thai music TV was a fun bonus. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We come here like 3x a month. I love the Kao Soi so much. The spice mix is hand made and incredible.

We went to Vancouver and had Thai food a few times. None came even close to Thai Time. It is seriously the best we've tried.

We LOVE this place! Best Thai food in (and out) of the SLC area. Huge portions, so we always split and sometimes even have leftovers. In addition to fantastic food, they have my all time favorite wait-staff! This place is amazing!

Ordered fried rice and specified zero spice due to an allergy. The dish was still low level spicy and I could not eat it, and unfortunately it was takeout so there was nothing that could be done.

Thai Time is undoubtedly the best Thai restaurant in SLC! When making statements like this, to be fair I order the same dish at various restaurants to compare fairly, and in this case the Yellow Curry w/chicken was my litmus test. Theirs is bursting with flavor and so rich and savory, the curry and spice were just right for me.. (the scale is 1-5 for heat, and 3 is hot FYI) and they make everything from scratch in their kitchen.

They're also the only one to my knowledge who serves northern Thai cuisine, which shares some flavors and dishes from Burma, so that's a plus too! Super generous portions, great value and price, will definitely be going back a lot!

I hate to give bad reviews, but this is one. It is overpriced with no lunch specials. We ordered the pad thai and drunken noodles and they were both salty and tasted the same. Menu was lacking for a Thai restaurant.

To their credit, the food was acceptably tasty and their spice scale was honest and actually spicy, which is fairly unusual for Americanized Asian food. However the service was a little slow. I suppose that was made-up-for by way of the sizeable portions at a reasonable price, though.

I had dinner with my parents here and can’t say enough good things about Thai Time! Delicious, authentic Thai food that’s made fresh and great service. We look forward to dining here again soon!

First time here and I ordered the Green Curry spice level 3. Boy was it spicy!!! But delicious and flavorful! I wanted to hug the cook, seriously so many flavors. My new favorite Thai place!

This was an excellent meal! The food was so tasty! Our server was on top of it and was super friendly. I had the Pad See Ew with beef and it was excellent the noodles were so good. My wife had the Massaman curry and said that it was also excellent. The appetizer we had were the fried dumplings and they were absolutely delicious, They had such a good crisp on the outside and the sauce served with it made them even better. I hope this restaurant lasts longer than the last few that were in the same space, I am looking forward to going back and enjoying more of their great food!

I have been excited to try this place since they opened, and I am so glad I did! Spicy level 2 is just the right amount of spice for my husband and myself. I ordered their Kao Soi, and my husband got the Pad See Ew... Both AMAZING! We also got their egg rolls (I call them fried spring rolls because the wrapper part is thin and crispy unlike the Egg rolls you would get at Panda) some kids noodles and a Thai Iced Tea..... Y'all need to try this gem out. Thank you for the amazing food, and good service.

Pineapple fried rice is surprisingly flavorful and tasty, highly recommend to give it a try. Drunken noodle is ok and I wouldn’t order it again.

Absolutely fantastic! I have been looking for a new Thai restaurant because others in the area are either closed or not what they used to be. The fried dumplings were delicious. Perfect amount of crunch and you could tell they were made from scratch. I ordered the red curry at a level 3. This would be considered hot for most people and unless you like extremely hot food, you should probably stick with 3 or under. I loved all the flavor and I will definitely be back to order a 5 to experience their heat. Oh and service was excellent! Highly recommend!

Was looking for a gluten free and vegan/vegetarian friendly restaurant for a lunch date with a friend and found this place online that can accommodate both. I got the Kao Soi curry and pad thai. Beautiful presentation and great flavors! What really won me over was the Kao Soi! Would definitely come back for this!

Very good food! Service amazing! Actually have Thai cooks in the kitchen! This was my first visit to this Thai restaurant, been to most in the county and this just one now first choice in the area. Beautiful clean, great place to for date or business lunch.

Absolutely delicious! The service was excellent. I got the Kao Soi and my wife got the Cashew Nut Stir Fried and both dishes were nothing short of phenomenal! We will absolutely be back and bring friends and family. If you enjoy authentic Thai food you definitely need to give Thai Time a try!

The service was great and the restaurant clean. We started with some fried dumplings. I was nervous because it had shrimp (I hate sea food) but it was great. For the main course, we got Kao Soi, red curry, and yellow curry. The portions were huge, the presentation would make Paul Hollywood happy, and the flavor was amazing. We are definitely coming back.

Laab doesn’t taste like laab and they charge for rice when they know Lao Thai ppl eat rice with everything. Thai issan is better or tuk Tuk

I've had pad see ew and pineapple fried rice multiple times now but I'll try other things. My buddy loves the pad thai. John works in the front and always brings positive energy. Really found a gem in Thai Time.

I had the green curry(spice 2) which is good with spice but not overly spicy. Also had the Pork Kra Pow spice 2, and probably would go to 3. Both were good, but I think the green curry was the winner. I agree it would be nice to have a fountain soda for dine in at least. I also like that they stick to traditional Thai ingredients, no mini corns, no American eggplant, etc. Flavor profile is definitely Thai, not bland-ed down for everyone's palate. Lot's of bamboo in the bamboo dishes. Would suggest for everyone to give it a try! $14-15/entrée as of 12/2022. If Ordering for Delivery, Go through their website to save over DoorDash/UberEats
