Food: very tasty appetizer we ordered Fried Pork Belly ( very tasty its chopped in small pieces to make it easier to eat) , crab rangoon ( crispy and good) tom yum soup shrimp ( my aunt and friend liked it)
Main dish : swai fish garlic pepper sauce ( its very good but a little too salty for our taste - bec we are hypertensive so we don’t eat too salty food) pad thai tofu — so good tasty we loved it mango chicken — its so good ( its sweet bec of the mango sauce ) but for me I liked it.

Desert: mango with sticky rice — always the winner we loved it.
They gave a free coconut ice cream on the house … very nice of them … when we told the server its my aunt birthday she put a candle on it ( very nice of them)

Staff : Tobbi the server is very nice accommodating, she is an asset to this restaurant.

Delicious and friendly Thai food restaurant. It was my first time ever trying the Yum Woon Sen and it has become one of my favorite Thai dishes. It is great mix of savory and fresh with the salad underneath the glass noodles with chicken and shrimp, which also tasted like high quality protein. The tom kha and green curry were also revitalizing and full of flavor. All of this is accompanied by friendly service! One of our go to Thai spots in Houston now.

The foods here were great! It was such an epic experience to be here and enjoy thai foods. I’ve been looking around Katy to find good Tom Yam Goong, and I think I finally found it! The server was very kind and everything here was so good that I want to visit again!

We come for dinner here often! The food is delicious. My husband loves the yellow curry with chicken. I usually have the Cashew Chicken which is wonderful or the Pineapple Chicken Rice.

They also seem to have a big takeout business. But for us dining out is about the experience, and it has always been a great.

Friendly helpful staff that want to make sure you are well taken care of during your dinner.

Everything was delicious. I ordered shrimp pad Thai and the moo yang and loved every bite! The moo yang was especially flavorful. If you aren’t tolerant of spicy food I’d recommend not adding any spice but for me the mild was perfect. Service was friendly and fast and we waited less than 15 minutes for our food. Highly recommended!

If you are craving authentic Thai food, you must visit Kluay Kluay. This is now my go to place for lunch. There are many options on lunch specials for weekdays and their curry dishes are just amazing. My favorite ones are Red Curry and Penang Curry. Very friendly service and prices are very reasonable.

The atmosphere and cuisine is very close to what I am used to as I am a Thailand native. The use of spice and decoration is reflective of the culture and authentic. I recommend those that appreciate authentic thai food to try this venue.

Food is flavorful and delicious. Try the Spicy Cheese Roll, it’s now one of our favorites! The servers are friendly.

Wow. I think we have a new favorite Thai restaurant. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, with high-end quality dishes and utensils. Our server was Jammom, and he was outstanding with professional service. I had the Hot Basil with beef and crispy spring rolls.

I've been looking for a thai restaurant in this area that would match the experiences I had around houston chinatown and this place is close! I love their thai tea, fried banana, and their coconut ice cream (which we devoured before I got a chance to take a pic)

My wife and I went to Kluay Kluay for lunch recently and we are glad we did. Everything was great - the appetizers, our drinks and our entrees. To put it simply we will for sure be going back. We had a great dining experience here!!!

We love coming to this local Thai spot for delicious food and great service. The crispy rolls are our favorite and it’s always good, hot, fresh food served with a smile. Lots of selections. Haven’t had a thing we didn’t enjoy. Don’t miss it!

Great Authentic Thai food and family friendly atmosphere.

The basil fried rice had burnt spots and tasted bland. The chicken satay was okay. The mango sticky rice was a disappointment with unripe mango and hard rice. Our server struggled to keep up with multiple tables, affecting the service.

The food was awesome, and they were super fast, on weekdays dinner with no crowd but I felt the service could have gone a little better.

I’m really happy with their soups and calamari. Service is always great and never super busy which I like.

I'll start with the positive! Lots of Thai options to choose from. Food was delivered very fast after we ordered. We didn't have to wait for a table. My friend ordered green curry, but she was delivered a delicious red curry so she didn't complain. I wished I had ordered what she ordered, but I had ordered the pad Thai and it was soggy and tasted like it had been sitting there for awhile. Way too much sauce on the pad Thai and why vermicelli noodles for pad Thai? I'm used to pan fried flat noodles with pad thai. Edamame was dry, didn't seem that fresh at all, in fact my microwave edamame is much better and more plump and moist. Portions seem small for the price. If you're going to have a small portion for 14.00, at least offer a side of something to come with it.

Tried out Kluay Kluay last night with my wife, always on the lookout for good authentic Thai. Found that here along with great service. We really enjoyed the larb, cashew nut and krapow gai rice bowl (all with chicken). The level of spice/heat was spot-on per our request for each dish, in most Thai places it’s hit or miss. We’ll definitely return here.

We recently dined at Kluay Kluay Thai Asian Cuisine and had a mixed but overall enjoyable experience. On Friday, we tried the Mango Chicken (medium spicy) and the Beef Pepper Steak (minus the green bell peppers, Thai hot spicy). The Mango Chicken dish was a hit with its crunchy chicken and fresh veggies, though I personally wished the sweet and spicy flavors had more punch.

Now, the Beef Pepper Steak? OMGoodness! It was phenomenal—packed with bold flavors and the perfect level of Thai hot spice. I was so impressed that I returned on Monday for another round. Sadly, the second visit didn’t live up to Friday’s magic. The flavors weren’t as vibrant, and the overall experience felt lackluster compared to the first.

Kluay Kluay, you’ve got a Friday chef who’s a star—please have them train the whole team! When the food shines, it truly hits all the right notes. I’ll definitely be back, hoping for more Friday-level excellence! Consistency is key!

Excellent drunken noodles and house fried rice! The best in the area.

Food tastes good as always but recently they have reduced the quantity and increased the prices… like $50 for 2 veggi fried rice and ne Penang

We had the best Pad Kee Mao we’ve ever had here. The food was absolutely fabulous, with the perfect blend of spice and flavor. It’s clear the owners are passionate about authentic Thai food.

LOVED the food! It tasted high quality and the flavors were perfection. The staff listened to my dietary restriction and did their best to make sure that what I received was free from my allergen. The staff was very, very kind and I am already excited for my next meal here at Kluay Kluay.

Note: bring a sweater or jacket, their AC was freezing me out. BUT, the chairs were comfortable, lighting perfect, and everything looked and felt super clean!

Pad ke mao was too oily. There was no basil taste in the thai basil. The lunch portions were too small. The waitress was not in the mood to work. Poor service and food quality. The place is not like before.would not recommend this place.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Horrible food and service. Ordered a tom kha and tom yum both chicken, ended up with two tom yum shrimps. Called to get the order fixed and the woman just wants to fight you on it.

There's better thai spots within the five minute radius. Go to ginger thai instead and save your money.

Definitely a must try if you are in the area. My favorite is the Glass noodle Pad Thai which was a unique variation of Regular pad Thai. The Thai wings you can never go wrong and the service is exceptional!

My spouse and I came here to eat lunch on a Saturday, and this was our second time here together at the recommendation of friends. They always have tasty food, and they accommodate preferences for spicy versus non-spicy food also. Additionally, they have attentive servers at what feels like a quaint, family-owned business. Highly recommend for a midday pick me up!

If anyone else has been in the hunt for authentic tasting Thai Curries this is the spot. I kind of gave up on ordering curry in Katy area, because I was always disappointed that it never tasted like the curry paste was made from scratch which makes all the flavors pop. Kluay Kluay nailed it though. The curry is delicious, and wish I found this place earlier!

We drive 20min for this restaurant. Great service and the food is amazing. I finally found a place with mango sticky rice! I highly recommend the green curry, and massaman curry. If you’re not used to spice, start with none or mild. If you’re really hungry and wanting an appetizer, the shrimp lollipops are good too.

My wife and I found this place looking for a good Thai Food Restaurant in Richmond. There are a couple but we really like this place. The food is great and their curry is so tasty. The green curry and the Massaman curry are my go-to. The Massaman is a little sweet but it’s my favorite. The shrimp lollipops are really good too from the appetizer menu. The ladies waiting tables are helpful when choosing a dish and they’re pretty attentive too. For dessert, try the mango sticky rice 😉 get adventurous!

The food was really really good! Authentic Thai tastes, not simplified for locals. The som tam (papaya salad) tasted like it was made in Thailand. The moo ping (pork skewers) were tender and had a great sauce. The fish and tom kha were equally outstanding. I highly recommend to anyone if they want true Thai food.

Would come back as there are lots of options and price is amazing for the quantity!

Food is great but the quantity is horrible for the price. They could simply charge a little extra and give the food container full. Most of the portions seem kid size.

AMAZING restaurant with authentic Thai food! With an even better staff and the owners are so sweet and really pour love into their food and their service. I had the basil fried rice, pad see ew, and the shrimp tempura. When I tell yall I have never had such a soft but crispy and fresh tempura in my life until I went here. All the food was amazing and finished off with mango sticky rice which I had never had but now I LOVE. This is going to be a regular spot.

My husband and I have gone twice. The food will make your taste buds dance with happiness. I recommend the pineapple fried rice with beef.

🍌 🍌 Kluay Kluay! My go to for comfort and nutrition! As one whose on a majority vegan/vegetarian die for the past 5 months my taste buds are finally adapting to alternative proteins for meat substitutes. Paneer amd Tofu have been the main sources as mushrooms and cauliflower cause arthritic flare ups due to their high purines.
The staff at Kluay Kluay are so gracious and kind. They make my curries even when being delivered to my specifications. I have lots of quirky food intolerances so when they make my tofu green curry and I add a note to take out the bell peppers and egg plants and add snow peas with the tofu on the side to maintain crispiness on the side to avoid sogginess for the delivery they ALWAYS ACCOMMODATE! And it is fantastic.
I have had some form of a curry at least 4 times this week. They are helping me rewire my brain to more consistency and my cravings towards plant based inklings.

I hope they are around for years to come.

This is my favorite restaurant ever. We go every week. I used to always order the yellow curry and it was my favorite meal in the world. One day I decided to branch out and now I order something different every time. There’s not a single menu item that I don’t love. Every meal is beyond amazing and the staff is so friendly.

Ordered 2 dinners.. 1 hot basil and 1 red curry. Only came with 1 small rice. Hot basil was not good. Wife was upset and were disappointed.

Quite many different flavors of curry and appetizer choices. Both lunch specials (smaller portions) and dinner dishes are all reasonably priced and affordable. Great service and great ambiance.

Me and my partner came in on Valentine’s Day to have dinner, the food was good and the Thai tea was also good. I give it 4 stars due to the wait it took them a bit to come and take our order but she explained what happen but overall we would come back again next time !

We had such a wonderful dinner with Kluay kluay Thai Asian Cuisine tonight!! We had Jasmine tea, crab Rangoon, chicken satay, Tom Yam Gai soup, chicken pad Thai, and Pad Kee Mow. Everything was outstanding, full of flavor. Jasmine tea came in its own teapot and little teacup so warming. Crab Rangoon was so fresh , we have never had Rangoon that tasted so homemade. Chicken satay and peanut sauce was perfect, fell apart on skewer, delicious. Tom Yam Gai was out of this world, the broth itself made you feel like you could crawl into it haha! Perfect for a cold day. So full of fresh flavor. Pad Thai was so wonderful the noodles were authentic and sauce was perfection esp with lime. and the pad kee mow was delicious! Took home a lot of leftovers we were stuffed.

Honestly we can’t wait to go back it was so flavorful and you can taste the love. You can pick your spice level as well. Ms Noy and Pam were so kind and sweet. go Support them and spread the word 🙂

Had dinner here with a family of 5 (2 adults/3 kids) around 8pm. We were the only people there. By 8:30 they started closing already, turned off the TVs while we were still eating. And we got charged gratuity. This was never disclosed to us prior to ordering or getting the bill. Bad business. Never coming back here. Food was ok, tasted better...

Under new management, their food is SOOO FRESH and so creatively prepared. The chef pours her heart and soul into the preparation of her menu and it shows! So much love is there, you just can't help seeing it. Any menu questions are easily and patiently explained, and every dish can be modified to your spice level of taste. I rarely give such a negative review. but I feel like people really need to know. This “Thai” food is horrible!
The food is a total disappointment, the PadThai noodles or worse than top ramen. The chicken satay was so dry dried out, it was like chicken jerky.
Tom yum soup was so spicy I couldn’t eat it, as I asked for lite spice. Apparently if you dine in, you might get Better tasting food. I doubt it. Because If you know good Thai food, you will be seriously disappointed in this place. That’s a fact.!

My husband and I came in late last night for a dinner and we were not disappointed! Our server was so kind, informative, and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered two appetizers she suggested and they were both so yummy! I ordered the yellow curry and it’s was perfectly sweet and spicy. My husband ordered a flat noodle dish with their house sauce and pork. Which he devoured! We will definitely be back! I felt all pricing was reasonable for such a yummy meal!

This was our second visit to Kluay Kluay and both visits provided delicious food. The restaurant is under new management and they have done a great job. We are vegan and they fully understand what that means. Thai food is easily made vegan, but sometimes other restaurants do not understand the sauces (fish and shrimp) that don't make a dish vegan. The Veggie Lovers had *so* many fresh veggies which made the flavors amazing! Pineapple Fried Rice...Yum! Started with a side salad (the dressing was great) and Veggie Crispy Rolls (so fresh). It is nice to have a restaurant that understands a plant-based vegan diet. We will most definitely be back.

Amazing food and service for a decent price. We did the lunch specials, which explains the small portions. However, the taste did not disappoint. The medium spicy level is spicy, so if you can not handle the heat stick with mild. Their are two more spice levels, hot and thai hot after medium. Tried the Pad Thai, pork skewers, yellow chicken curry, a sample dish of a chicken appetizer with a salad, and finally sticky rice with mango.

Everything tastes authentic and very good. With the exception of the thai iced coffee. It does have the Thai tea taste but was expecting more of the bitterness of the coffee. Possibly watered down, but I would try again next time.

All of the mentioned dishes came to about $50. Portion and price for a lunch menu are just right. The food is great, and the server was pleasant with a very welcoming demeanor. Would return again!

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. While the food and service at Kluay Kluay Thai exceeded my expectations, there was one minor drawback that I must mention—the portion sizes. While the quality of the food was exceptional, I found the portion sizes to be slightly smaller than I had anticipated. As someone with a hearty appetite, I found myself wishing for a bit more to savor. However, it's important to note that the flavors and presentation more than made up for the size.

Despite the slight drawback in portion sizes, I wholeheartedly recommend Kluay Kluay Thai to anyone seeking an authentic Thai dining experience. The exceptional service, warm ambiance, and mouthwatering flavors make it a standout choice among Thai restaurants.

We were looking forward to this new choice of cuisine in the area and we were not disappointed. We had soup, wraps and a main dish each. I had hot tea (omg the ginger tea is amazing!) And he had traditional iced tea. The spice was a bit light so we will be going bolder next time. The service was wonderful.

We have been looking forward to this place opening since we heard that it was going to be a Thai restaurant. We finally got a chance to visit and we are very happy with every aspect of it. The service was prompt and the food came out quickly.

We ordered the dumplings, shrimp lollipops, shrimp tempura, spicy basil fried rice, pad Thai and the basil chicken. Everything was so delicious and fresh! The portions and prices were just right. We will be making this place our new Thai restaurant of choice.

The customer service was five stars. If you enjoy spicy food, it’s great for the main dishes. Please whatever you do, do not order the appetizers. Save yourself the shock value. The size of the appetizers are laughable even more so once you see the price. They are so small they should be complimentary. I was shocked when opened my box of spicy cheese rolls. There was nothing spicy about them and they did not have a drop of cheese in them. I thought someone was pranking me. I can’t believe they serve those proudly, it’s embarrassing. I get trying to cut costs but it’s literally paying 6 dollars for fried spring roll dough. Not a drop of filling. They were smaller than my pinky and I’m not exaggerating. I was appalled. If I ate there and they brought that to my table, I’m not sure how I would have reacted. I don’t need large portions but c’mon, at least give me the amount worth the price. If that’s what you got to do to cut costs, just take it off the menu. So disappointed. The ladies were nice but you have to do better with the food.

Take out review. I ordered two Rad Nas with different proteins. I didn’t like that the noodles came separately from the meat and veggies because the noodles didn’t have any flavor at all and the flavor from meat and veggies didn’t soak because it was more soup based rather than gravy as specified. The meat and veggies had good flavor but it didn’t marry well with the flat noodles which was disappointing. Also, keep spicy level to a minimum if your tolerance is low. We ordered medium and it was spicier than anticipated. It was still good for us but definitely something to consider should I reorder.

Just visited here for the first time, it was a great experience! We had crispy rolls, yellow curry, pad kee mow and pad wood sen. each of them tasted so good, definitely come back next time!

I asked for spicy level Thai hot, which is I normally order in any other Thai restaurant, but this restaurant made it so hot that I could not even take 3 bites of food. I could test only red chili and nothing else. Total west of money. Warning - don't order Thai hot even though you can handle spicy food.

The lunch portion was very tiny. It wouldn't be even enough for a 6-year old kid. I was still hungry after finishing every tiny bit on the plate. The price was not tiny though.

This place is very good. The ladies waiting tables are doing their best and it's adorable.

Very small portions with very high prices but great service. If you like to get fckd with a smile this is the place. The chicken satay is a joke it’s more like communion wafers than chicken skewers. This place will be closed in a year. Everything is tasty but this isn’t worth $35. I could get a Thai escort for less that will make bigger portions.

I’ve been to Thailand and their food is exactly the same, I love it! Came here and got the hot basil, which is my favorite dish. It was perfectly portioned for the price. I also got spicy dumplings which were hands down amazing. If you love spicy, you have the option to request your level of spicy. This place will definitely be my spot for Thai cravings in the future.
