Cozy strip-mall storefront offering traditional stir-fries & noodle dishes, plus a kids' menu.
I have to say, I love these little hole in the wall places!! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere and service were superb! You can never go wrong with the Pai Thai and it did not disappoint!! The Coconut Soup was perfectly blended and the taste was fantastic!! If we ever get back to the area again, you can bet we will be stopping by again!! AAAA++++
Always like to go to locally owned places where you're actually putting money into the community and not some corporations coffers. That being said, we're down this way for some work and decided that this would be a great place for lunch. And we were not wrong. We had to enjoyable lunch. Good food. Wonderful service. The people there took great care of us for lunch place was fairly busy and they were very attentive. Food came out quickly. They gave us both the levels of spice that we asked for. I got my mild so that I could add to it. My friend got his hot and he very enjoyed his that way. When we were down this way we will definitely be back again
First visit. Stopped in for lunch. Nice atmosphere. Clean. Good variety offed on menu. Selected Chicken Pad Thai. Chicken was way overcooked coming out dry and chewy. Sauce was a bit salty. Noodles, bean sprouts and green onions were on point. I will return but will steer clear of any dish that includes chicken.
Small restaurant, but big enough for dine in service. Food was fabulous, I had the spring rolls & drunken noodles. Taste was authentic and on point!!! I will definitely return. If you're looking for newer modern vibe this isn't the place. Booths, chairs and tables could be updated but that's not a necessity for me to dine in again. If you're looking for fresh, hot food with quick service, this is the spot.
Yesterday was my second time visiting this restaurant. Both times the service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. Both times I called in.
My most recent visit I ordered the drunken noodles with veggies and the last time I ordered basil Thai rice.
Highly recommend and will continue to visit.

Ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp and extra lime. It was so good. And serving size is nice. I’ve ordered 3 times in the last 2 weeks. 👍🏽
You have got to try their food! I have never had a bad dish from Red Orchid.
Mostly do take-out from here ... food is always good ... Staff is friendly ... never wait long to get my order.
Shrimp fried rice was great!
I had the pleasure of trying this place for the first time today and omg the drunken noddles were everything along with spring rolls 10/10 highly recommend. Oh did I mention the Thai Ice Tea chef kiss ❤️ I will be back 🤗
Had the Tom Kha (they have it named as coconut soup). It was really good. Flavorful. Potstickers, which were also a good, a little different with the sauce but still delicious. Mango and sticky rice, it was mildly sweet, good. The fruit was nice and ripe. My thai tea was also really good. Would definitely go back here.
Reviews were the contributing reasons we all went to this Thai restaurant. Food choices were fantastic, servings are individually adjustable and the service was great. Will make this restaurant our halfway stop from now on.
Awesome Thai food. One of my favorite local spots!

My favorite Thai place in Mcdonough
The food was perfect made all the way like a Thai kitchen was perfect, Next time when I will be in the area I will eat again in this restaurant, there are not many that cook like them.thank you, the duck with basil was the best.
The orange chicken and pineapple were perfect. I will make it a regular stop when I am visiting.
My family of three ordered take out. We ordered two orders of pad Thai, sesame chicken, and crab Rangoon. The food came to $50, and for that we received 5 crab Rangoon’s, oily flavourless noodles and dry rice. We are disappointed as the other reviews seemed to rave the food was delicious. For the price, we are left very disappointed in the quality we received and will not be returning.
Thai food is my favorite, and this is my favorite Thai restaurant south of Atlanta. The staff is friendly, they have even fulfilled special requests that weren't available on the menu.
The Tom Kha Gai is the best in the area! Drunken Noodles and Pad Prik King are excellent when available. Everything has been fresh and great quality. As always a Thai Tea is a must have.
The Thai dumplings and Pad Thai were sooo good!
Sampled chicken fried rice, drunken noodles, and spicy Thai basil. All three were excellent. Coconut soup is the perfect amount of spice and rich flavor. Thai tea was a little too sweet but it was okay. Interior was smallish, and the booths need to be recovered, but if you’re interested in well prepared Thai dishes, you won’t be disappointed
Cold, salty, small portions
Excellent spring rolls, crispy chicken, fast service. Will be back.

Very delicious thai restaurant with friendly & fast service. My friend and I tried this place for lunch on a Friday. It was so good we came back the following Monday! We have tried the drunken noodles with shrimp, bangkok chicken, three flavors chicken, sesame chicken, chicken & broccoli, crab angels, spring rolls, thai dumplings & chicken satay…EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. Also the sweet tea is awesome. Some restaurants just cant do sweet tea right, but they definitely do it right here. We will be back many more times!
Ehh. We decided to give this place a try. The first turn off was the lighting. It is very dark inside almost to the point you can barely see the menu. We ordered wonton soup and the following lunch specials; Thai fried rice, pineapple fried rice, chicken& broccoli, and Mongolian Beef. The rice dishes were good and so was the broccoli & chicken but I can’t say the same for the broccoli beef. The sauce was good but the beef was not tender AT ALL, it was inedible. The worse part was when we brought it to the server’s attention her response was “that’s just how our beef is, not tender”. And after her response she asked if we wanted to take it to-go. I’ve had Mongolian beef hundreds of times and I’ve never had it chewy like rubber. I didn’t want her to remove it from the bill, but I would’ve been satisfied if she would’ve offered to replace it with another dish of similar value.
I also thought it was crazy that they were begging for pennies for everything. $6 for a small wonton soup that doesn’t have at least 3 wontons is crazy.
$100 for 4 people with lunch specials is ridiculous especially when someone was not satisfied with their meal.

My first time trying Thai food. I got the Drunken Noodle. It was absolutely delicious! Definitely intend on coming back.
This is the first time I am leaving a review of a restaurant. It is so so bad I have to write about this Place. The Worst Thai restaurant I have ever been to in my whole life: Quality & Quantity wise.
Hands down the best thai food in mcdonough, and the customer service is always on point. I wish I can give them ten stars!!!!
Great tasting food, great servive
The food here has always been pretty good. I have been eating at this location for over 10 years.
I love this place for great Thai food.
Best customer service I ever had! Food was excellent too. We were late to pick up our food but they still kept their smiles and we’re not angry.
The drip fried catfish is fab
Hubs and I visited for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. We ordered the chicken dumplings as an appetizer and really enjoyed the curry sauce they were searved with. For lunch, I ordered the drunken noodles and he ordered the three favor chicken - both were excellent. We will be back.
Fine dining good tasting food egg rolls scrumdelicious
My wife and I just sat down and ate and we had great customer service from Pang the food was great and it came out fast. We will definitely be back 🙂
My favorite things to get at red Orchid Thai cuisine would be the shrimp drunken noodle. The drunken noodle is the combination of basil and Chili’s with the rice noodle. Overall the flavor is divine. if you’re looking for a different pallet in the area, you should definitely take your time and check them out. My favorite thing to eat on the appetizer list would be their fried chicken wings. They are so crispy and juicy at the same time it pairs well with her sweet chili sauce. Their chicken sauté is good and honestly they have the best peanut butter sauce I’ve had so far. The main goal and beef is great but if you prefer sweeter meets it might not be for you, so I’ll get that one and four out of five. The customer service is amazing. If you have questions about the menu, they will go in and explain it. The atmosphere is the only thing lacking but that doesn’t take away from the food experience. The food is really good. They just need some work. A lot of the chairs are old and run down but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t taste good it’s amazing. They’re crab angel is comparable to a crab Ragoogoon. They are on the smaller size but the flavor is there I can promise you never had a crab raccoon like the one at red orchard Thai cuisine. Go check them out. I always forget to take a picture of my food because it’s so yummy but I update a picture one of these days.
This place has decent food and good service. Thai food is my favorite, and I almost always get the Pad Kra Prao (Basil stir fry)when I try a new Thai restaurant the first time. This was good. I don't have anything negative to say about this place. It wasn't my favorite, but if I couldn't find other Thai restaurants near me, I would go again. I had the Thai tea, and that was good. The cheese wonton were also good. It didn't knock my socks off, but it was good.
Great food and service.
I ordered Pad Thai. The sauce was very thick and salty. Although the dish came out steaming, the broccoli had cold parts. Hot broccoli was what I was looking forward to in the dish.
When I told the server about the cold broccoli and the sauce, she just said sorry.
The server was really nice and attentive, but the food was not good.
Also, it was a bit dirty inside like they need to vacuum. Maybe a big crowd was there earlier.
Enjoyed the food
Winderful food & service!
delicious, affordable, friendly and fast service 👏
Good waitr sweet smile, small place fair food.
Staff is always friendly and food is always delicious
4.5 star would be a better score. They have really good food. Snapper when available is my go to on this menu. Or the basil duck. I tried the spicy seafood, it was okay. Not as good as I’d hoped. Friendly staff, clean dining area.
This place normally has good food! This is my first time ordering coconut chicken soup. I stopped in yesterday before getting on the road. I normally taste my food before I leave any restaurant but this time I didn't. I ordered the coconut chicken soup. 7hrs later, When I reach my destination I was ready to eat. Couldn't eat the food because it was too damn SALTY. you guys are closed today. hopefully, you guys can make this right when you're open again.
My go to spot during the week for solid Thai food. Great family environment and great food. Haven’t had a bad plate yet!
We are Thai people who hitted the road trip from FL and stopped by here with unexpected but the food was so great!! We ordered Crab angle , chicken wings, pad thai , seafood basil , pork basil fried rice and panang curry. Everything was so tasty and service was excellent too. 💗
The food was good except for the amount of meat in the dishes. It should be double considering the prices.
My Favorite local Thai restaurant! The food is delicious and it came so quickly!
The first time eating here, the food was delicious well seasoned very tasty and a nice amount as well.
Great place for Thai food. We stopped here as were passing by and were craving soup, the place did not disappoint. Impressed by the quick swift service and the staff was friendly. Restrooms were clean. Even though they had ample foot traffic and people coming in to dine in they were attentive and quick with what we needed.
Good food. Small dining area. Good for takeout.
Our Thai place in Stockbridge closed so we were on the hunt for somewhere else. Food is good 👍🏿 😋 with good service..been there 2x already
This restaurant is small but the service and the food is enormous great and taste and parents excellent service this place is a place you should check out very good food
This is my absolute favorite Thai place, not only are they very sweet but their food NEVER misses. It’s always so hot and fresh, the ginger catfish, pad Thai and Leah are my top fav, the coconut soup is also delicious!!! I love it here!!!
Always good. Best Thai food in Atlanta.
Good food
Last visit, food awful. I normally purchase spicy basil chicken & shrimp fried rice and it was clumped together. It looked like old rice packed in the tray with no flavor. It's to be spicy and it was not. Bland, tasteless, not as ordered and definitely for the price.
Prices went up, now you don’t even get rice with your $16 panang curry. Bought a side of sticky rice for 3.50 and that’s what I got. A wad in Saran Wrap and tin foil. My husband got a side of fried rice, just a scoop in a container that had no flavor what so ever. I will go elsewhere
Great Pad Thai! Serving was big enough that my wife and I could share it. Very tasty. We stayed overbite at a local hotel and ordered takeout. Server was very nice. Would definitely eat here again!
Don’t eat here as much as I should. Staff on point, friendly, welcoming. And the food fresh and some of the best Thai food you can eat.
I love the shrimp and Rangoons they are delicious!!
Probably the absolute best Thai food available within a long drive any direction. The servers are very friendly and helpful, food is excellent, I highly recommend the satay chicken for an appetizer, although the Fresh basil rolls are quite good too. For entrees the Pad Thai of course is great, so is the pineapple fried rice. Though I think the three flavors chicken is probably my favorite of all the entrees I've had, and the mango sticky rice is quite a pleasant dessert As you would hope for a Thai place the spice levels are pretty good with the maximum heat being reasonably spicy and they have the usual spices and sauces available to up it to any level desired. Been over a dozen times and continue to enjoy it. Definitely recommend it.
Outstanding taste, quality, and service! Great menu options. Fresh ingredients and prepared to order, surprisingly quickly. Remarkable staff, very friendly!
Boyfriend took me here for dinner. Good food very fulfilling, will come back again.
Ordered Tom Yum shrimp soup. I asked how much shrimp is in the soup and was told 3. I only had 2 in the soup. Ordered chicken fried rice. Barely any chicken. Chairs stained and food overrated. Not going back. 1 & done. $29 wasted
Their basil fried rice was really good…..also this may seem like a stretch to others but I have had my share of spring rolls
They have by far THE best spring rolls I have ever tried in my entire life.
They are so fresh. Most spring rolls taste like they were frozen and the inside is mushy. With their spring rolls the veggies tasted fresh and they were super crispy. Happy customer here
No one seems to know what goes into the dishes. Went one time and was told my meal could be, and was, made vegan. Went again a few days later and was told nothing could be vegan and the meal I had before had fish and other ingredients that weren’t suitable for vegans….. Gross and disappointing.
Great food
I LOVE their green curry shrimp!!! Always fresh ingredients and great customer service. They have a nice variety of dishes to choose from - so many more for me to experience!
This place was really good. The service was phenomonal and the food was amazing. Overall I was very satisfied. 10/10
Delicious food
Good
A nice but very standard Thai restaurant with plenty of dishes to choose from.
The basil eggplant with tofu was a delicious surprise!
Get the Tiger Cry. It's been a while since I was so impressed with a dish. I wasn't expecting to get one of the best steaks that I have ever had at a Thai restaurant. Chicken satay was good also. Customer service was nice and attentive.
Great customer service. Great food. First time here and will be back.
This place was amazing the service was on point the prices were great for what you get the food smacked like a angry woman aka tasted like the 4th of July in my mouth haha. Only issue was my stomach was hurting like it got struck by lightning ⚡ but I take that as I am not use to Thai food. Great place probably the best Thai in mcdonough
No dining in after 8pm. Small restaurant.
The duck was fried to crisp and very dry and actually I came Home and threw it all up! It wasn't good This time! My order didn't Come out Right!☹️ Very Disappointed....
Decent food. Reasonably clean restaurant. I'd go back, but probably just take out next time.
First time here. Loved the ginger chicken
Best Thai food in Mcdonough ga 155 south. I try the new Thai restaurant on highway 20 it terrible they don’t know how to cook food not done right. I sad to say they don’t know how to cook deep fried calamari, drunking noodle were dry, in the fried rices the pea were frozen. They did not even fried it.
Best curry around McDonough
The food is great! Get the Pad Thai!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Tasty foods. Omi liked it so they get 10 stars.
The three sauce Tapila always get with veggies! The girls always pleasant!
Awesome food great staff
My PHO is always exceptional! Customer service is always good! I’d forever go here!
Excellent customer service, The Pad Thai is definitely delicious. My husband and I enjoyed everything
Our go-to for take out Thai.
Great Thai!
My family ordered 2 orders of yellow chicken curry and 2 orders of green chicken curry. All of my children are throwing up and have stomach aches. Happened after eating the curry. I will never eat here again and I caution others to be careful.
Good food, quick service. Called in order ready upon arrival. Clerks greeted me when I entered and thanked me as I was leaving.
Family loved it
Each dish is more awesome than the last.
We always love eating here. They are so nice and food is very tasty.
Food was great!! flavorful and delicious....Will definitely be going here for my thai fix
Best Thai food around!
Great food
Bad food, taste frozen.
Nothing went right. What I ordered did not taste good and it was not what I ordered. I ordered Mongolian beef I got some beef in a brown thin sauce and white rice that is it on the plate no veggies at all I was not happy with that. I order this all the time, never have I ever had it like this. It's just lazy.
I will not be back there.
Always fresh tasting. Good spices but not too spicy to enjoy.
This was my second meal here with my wife. We've ordered different food each time and it's all been great. We will return
I want to first say I am not local and am from out of town visiting friends. I stumbled to this restaurant by chance and was not disappointed at all. Being Thai American (and growing up in Thailand) I would like to say I know authentic Thai food when I see and taste it. This place made me feel like a kid again and the flavors reminded me of my childhood long ago. We had the Tom Yum, Larb Gai, Pad Kra Pow (basil stir fry) with chicken, Thai Tea and Mongolian Beef. There were 3 of us and all enjoyed the food.
The thai curry is full of salt .This the worse thai food i have ever had.
We had an awesome experience.
Not as expected, food was too salty.
👍
Excellent food and great service
5 Star is a hard sell for me anymore, but this family owned Thai restaurant deserves every one! It's rare for me to be in this area, and more rare that I have the time for a nice sit down meal. The food was exquisite! I hope to have the opportunity to return in the future!
Support your local family restaurants! I'm fortunate with my profession to patron family restaurants like this all across the country, and vacation spots around the world!
Fantastic! Only ate here twice so far, but both times were absolutely great! Last time ordered a party tray of chicken and veggie fried rice and it fed 10 people. Not one complaint... :) Can't wait to try more things on the menu!
Great food, large portions! And fair prices, I would recommend this spot.
I had a takeout order separate dish of rice, separate order chicken and separate order of shrimp. I got home notice they forgot to give me my shrimp order. I call to let them know, they ask for my name. They told me when I come back they will give me my shrimp order. Two days later I go back I give them my name, they had the nerve to give me 4 shrimps and on top of that it had a nat in it. I am highly disappointed and will never buy from them again.
The restaurant was dated, but the food was good
Dont order their crispy squid and the fresh basil roll. IT WAS NOT GOOD. Ended up throwing it. The squid is not fresh and had some smell. Dont waste your money!
Pues esta Rica la comida y el sevicio tambien
Great food. Had the Chicken Tom Yum soup. Very flavorful. Also had the wings. Im led to believe Thai fried wings are the best wings. Their pad thai was great also. Waitress was very kind.
My favorite Thai place in the county. Food was super tasty (but not spicy, if you want spicy, ask them to spice it up.) Service was outstanding and patient with my requests. Loved the eggplant in the dishes. The pot of soup was definitely worth it. Yum! Totally recommend this place!
Best Thai food you can find in that area
Food was fresh and delicious! Service was great!
Phenomenal!! Tom Ka(coconut)soup, spring rolls, pad Thai, Bangkok chicken, and Mongolian beef with the best fried rice!! Will return!!
I'm not a big Thai food eater. But when I eat Thai food, it's ALWAYS at this place. Quaint restaurant, great service, great food.
Food wad delicious!!! Pad Thai and drunken noodle are my favorite! Can’t wait to try other items! Thai tea is bomb and completes the meal! Must try if you want delicious Thai food! Also, I always receive great customer service! Love it!
