Fast-casual eatery featuring traditional fare from Laos & Thailand for lunch & dinner.
Our favorite fast-ish food. So delicious and my little ones love the meatballs, chicken soup, and spring rolls. All the fried rice is good. All the curry is good too
Stellar Thai /Lao eatery. Good selection of classic dishes. Sausage, ribs, papaya salad, curries etc.
The red curry was a generous portion and the depth of flavor was excellent. Highly recommend. The Lao tea is a must.
Zaap combo is on my list for my next visit.

Super chill atmosphere with some super chill service!! I took mine to go but the environment inside was super clean and friendly and inviting. I had the Tom Yumm soup with shrimp and side of jasmine rice! The rice was done to perfection and not over cooked and mushy and my soup flavor and spice level of 3 was just right!! I will definitely be back soon to try the rest of the menu out!! Tons of different options and they have an online menu!!
This is my number 1 Lao & Thai restaurant! My family is Lao & Thai and some of these dishes tastes very close to my grandma’s cooking! Took my mom here and she also agrees! Every family has their own recipe and this place is 100% legit. My go to dishes are the wings & sticky rice, the green curry, and khao piak sen (chicken noodle soup but with thicker noodles & better flavor 😉). My mom loves to order the lao style papaya salad. Can we make these dishes at home, yes. But sometimes I’m definitely too lazy to cook and crave some delicious home lao/thai food so I order here
Delicious and complex flavors served in a clean and organized fast casual setting all at a fair price by knowledgeable staff.
One to seek out
Was great, can't wait to have it again!
The drunken noodles and the veggie rolls were absolutely delicious. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Will decifrou return and recommend to friends.
Our favorite fast-ish food. So delicious and my little ones love the meatballs, chicken soup, and spring rolls. All the fried rice is good. All the curry is good too
I never write reviews but this place is an absolute 10/10 🙏.
delicious but very high prices.

Simply put, 1 plate I get is the pineapple fried rice…that’s it…I love that plate…6 stars if it wasn’t for the service….seriously…the ten minutes usually is 25 minute minimum…it’s why I’ll always be hesitant to order cause I don’t know how long I’ll be stuck waiting.
Ordered Thai basil fried rice…it was all separate . Thai veggies on one side and rice on the other…so pissed because I had my mouth set on it. It wasn’t even shot spice like I ordered and the sauce was thick like Chinese food (msg). Nothing beats Thai basil from Thai House in Arlington. Kinda far but SO freaking good!!!!
Food is phenomenal 😋 10/10
Delicious food, Kind staff!
If you love authentic quick and delicious Thai food then this is where you need to be.
Great phad Thai, but chicken is very dry.
Sooo good!
Amazing customer service.
I come here religiously!! The curry dishes and pad thai are my go to. They are absolutely delicious and a decent portion and price. My favorite Thai spot in all of Dallas!
Best thai place in Dallas hands down! I always get their pineapple fried rice. Other favorites are the pad kee mao and red curry.
Food was great and fast, the cashier is nice.
Oh my gosh totes amazing! I had the best noodles right after winning a pageant.
Delicious food and kind service and great price
The mango sticky rice is perfect
I love this place! The staff is always super nice and helpful!! Never a bad dish!! If give it 10 starts if I could!
This place is INSANE. Have atmosphere 4 only because it’s more casual and not overly decorated HOWEVER who cares! The food and service were 10 stars. Loved everything. The wings and eggrolls was on point.
Great food and great service
Overall great customer service, assistance with the menu by providing recommendations and great food!
Decided to stop by and I’m glad I did! The Glass noodles were delicious and filling, I went with Spicy level 3 on their selection and it was perfect. I loved the Thai iced tea and ice cream macaroon.
Came here with a friend after googling vegan places to eat. Not many vegan options. At best the rice dish or curry is safe for vegans. 🥲 sad because the Thai food in my home town has the same limiting options. Maybe other plant based diners would find this gem and enjoy. It’s a nice spot otherwise.
Everything is perfect. The food, service, and location. I just have one teeny tiny complaint: The food portions. Other than that chefs kiss.
Went there yesterday evening. I ordered the spring roll. It tasted bland. Had to add salt. The sweet sauce was watered down. We decided to leave cause of you cannot get the appetizer right, the main course will be worst. We told the lady it did not taste good. They did not care.
Excellent
I love all the curries and fried rice dishes! They taste fantastic!
Stir fry and soups are okay, not really a fan.
Best Lao and Thai restaurant in the dallas fort worth area. The first time I tried it, the food was so good I had to come back again the next day. Customer service was hands down the best ive received in a while. 100% will a new go to spot in the city
Lao Iced Coffee is a must try! Everyone on their staff was very nice and friendly.
Loved it. Here in the service was great.
Pick up order at 8pm, store was closed!!!
The food was good
Great tasty food.
The food was good, but given I ordered at the counter, the prices were too high. The cream cheese rolls were WAY too sweet. They did not have iced tea. If you go, order the jerky, it was the only meal totally eaten in our group.
Dump the cheap, flavorless soy sauce packets. Kikkoman might have saved several dishes.
Zaap is the best Thai food in town! Fast, hot, fresh, and always good. Great local place that we love to come back to.
Great food and service awesome easy way to place your order
Best pad thai I've found in Dallas
Good food but pretty small portions
Food was very good. If you can't handle spicy, definitely do mild level/level 1..maybe 2 cause it was still on the spicy side. A good spice, but it wouldn't have been enjoyable if anymore spicy. Also, definitely recommend the Joy ice cream macaroons...huge macaroon ice cream sandwich things. Very yummy.
Super good! Got the red curry at a medium spice, was one of the better ones I’ve had! Pad Thai was nice too for those that like it! I come here a lot, I like the basil fried rice as well. But I think their curry is definitely the star! Try literally any curry they all taste good.
My friends come and eat here occasionally and the food is always fresh and delicious. Zaap is one of the best deals for Thai food in the Greenville area.
Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We had the garlic ribs, fried rice, spring rolls pork and crab. The only thing we didn’t care for was the meatballs. Try this restaraunt I promise you won’t regret it.
Best Thai food that I ever had and I am 65 years old.
I had the yellow curry. It was very good.
Hands down the best Mediterranean food restaurant in DFW!
Absolutely bad experience they took over 30 minutes for my order!!! Do not recommend this place not worth the money!!! The front staff are lost !!! They do not keep tract of orders so confused!!!
Food was delicious and came quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The food is delicious but the portions getting smaller and smaller. I ordered from this place over 8 times last couple weeks, I can tell especially the fried rice..
Good food
Avoid minutia and smash curry. I've had a few small items that were underwhelming. Also love sticky rice but the up charge puts it out of reach based on principle. Curry is amazing and keeps me coming back.
This place is so good. I'll be back. Just know this going forward.
They are located in a strip mall just catty-cornered to my hotel I was at. Within walking distance, but just not in this heat. It's brutal.
Walked in and it's quaint. Not huge and not small but comfortable. They have two counters a self service and a full service. I had scoped out the menu so I knew what I wanted. The crispy wings and drunken noodles.
The wings were super crispy and full of flavor, my only beef was they were overcooked and pretty dry. Flavor 5/5 stars, but the overcooked made them not the best texture wise.
Drunken noodles were perfect. Heat was great, i got a level 3, veggies were good and sauce was delicious.
Great little restaurant if you don't want overpriced hotel food.
See y'all next time im in town!
Tasty food. Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and the yellow curry are all on point. Spice level varies by dish. Pad Thai seems to be on the milder side, so order a level up if you like spice. The curry spice levels are as you’d expect.
I've had take out here more than I can think of, and its always on point. Food is so 10/10.
Didn’t get what I asked for and when I brought it to the managers attention, they didn’t care and chose not to fix it even though I was a regular customer. I will not be returning to such u grateful business owners. Very disrespectful
This Thai restaurant transported me to the vibrant streets of Thailand with its authentic flavors and aromatic spices. The dishes were a perfect balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and savory, creating a culinary journey that left me craving for more.
Very good and love that it is actually spicy
By far the best!! Last night I ordered the tom kha, level 4 spicy and it was PERFECT. This location always makes the dishes the perfect level of spice, with complex flavors & authenticity! The yellow curry was out of this world!! Rich and creamy!
After a long day at work, I order my favorites fron this location and they always make my orders with perfection. I cannot thank the Greenville Zip team enough for their consistency & care. The real MVPs!
I personally love their chicken egg fried rice! But also enjoy some of their other menu items such as their curry! They have great customer service and food is made fresh. Neveah their cashier is the best at taking orders and she’s very nice and knowledgeable of their menu.
My first time and LAST!! Theh charged us an extra $3 for shrimp (curry) and gave me chicken! We tried calling to give them the opportunity to make it right next time but NO ANSWER. The food was actually pretty good and we thought we'd go back another day but then we opened our ice cream sandwiches (macarons) and one had a piece of hair on it!! A thick gross piece if hair as if it was from some place other than someone's head!!!!! They need to make this right!
Exceptional yellow curry and the employees were very friendly.
I get this once a week as a cheat meal
So savory and delicious. Yellow curry, zapp wings and if I'm feeling extra ill get the crab rolls. Just the best food ever.
Love their Tom Kha and mango sticky rice!!!
Always on point!
Nice personnel, clean store, decent portions of good food. We started with Lao Style Papaya Salad (12) - tasty and hot like fire. I had the Curry Fried Rice with tofu (13) - tasty and hot. My wife had the Pad Thai with shrimp (16) - she liked it. Downsides: concrete floor, steel tables and chairs - loud even when quiet. You order at the counter, the nice staff promptly bring you your food on disposable take out dishes with a plastic fork (chopsticks available). An indoor food truck. I prefer Ka-Tip, but they went nuts on their prices too. Too many Laotian restaurants to try to come back to either.
A good place to have a quick lunch. Unfortunately sometimes the food is too salty
Love the pineapple fried rice so much. Crispy cashews, very spicy, nice balance of stuff and sizable portion.
Let's get into it! The food was DELICIOUS! The restaurant was large, spacious and busy. The staff were nice. I ordered take out and the food was stored neatly and was still warm when I got home. It only took about 10 minutes. I ordered the Zaap pack combo which came with papaya salad and sticky rice. We got the lao style papaya which was AMAZING! The best I've had anywhere. We ordered the wings and the riblets. I also got the jew som/crack sauce which was SPICY and DELICIOUS. Me and my mother shared and SMASHED. Next time I'll order an extra side of sticky rice. The portion was a bit small.
I just want to thank Zaap kitchen for being so patient with us and fulfilling our order perfectly. We placed a to-go order for 26 people and not only was the food delicious, but the staff was patient, professional kind and not a single item was wrong or missing. Thank you so much!
I get to-go orders from here pretty often. The staff are always friendly and very prompt in preparing the order and food has always been consistent. I usually get the drunken noodles and have it with green grapes at home. Can't speak too much about the experience when dining in, but I imagine it's pretty straight forward as well.
First time I've had an issue with the food. Today (4/18/23), my drunken noodles came out pretty overcooked/burnt when I opened it at home. Tried eating a little, but the taste and texture is far different than their usual. Ended up throwing it away. I'm still leaving it at 5 stars cause 1 issue after countless visits seems like a fluke tbh.
Not good, Can definitely find better in Dallas. Very watery curry and the fresh rolls were super bland. They were basically all lettuce and no chicken. I got random veggie rolls instead of crab rolls. Would not order again
You have to try the crab cream cheese rolls !!!
Got some noodles, rolls and sticky rice cake thing
Everything was amazing
It takes an exceptionally poor or an exceptionally great experience to move me to write a review. Today is the latter. As a first time customer, I walked in having no clue what I wanted. A friendly staff member warmly greeted me, and gave me a few great recommendations. The staff offered me water while I waited for my to go order, and I noticed as I waited that the staff thanked each guest as they left, and continuously smiled throughout my visit. They looked like they genuinely enjoyed their jobs. The Laotian fried rice I ordered was the best I’d ever had, but I will come back for the friendly atmosphere and service!
Great food! Fast, friendly service!
The people that work here are soooooo nice make me feel really welcome.
Great service and food :)
Amazing food! We had drunken noodles, wings, beef jerky and riblets. Everything was delicious. The joy macaron ice cream sandwiches were the perfect dessert .
Very friendly staff, clean eating area and bathrooms. We drove about half hour to get here and will likely be back. Looking forward to the Plano location opening and trying new dishes.
Best thai curry I've had in DFW
I used to enjoy this place for the last five years , I ordered spice curry fired rice it tastes disgusting and their Coustomer service also very bad
Very sadly, I received terrible customer service, and the food was not made correctly; shame for a place that I liked and have been going to for the past four years. I will never again go over there. They made my food incorrectly, and when I brought it in this young dude said that I had eaten half which I did not, of course I tasted the food but not half. to make matters worse They accused me of always doing this which is ridiculous because I have never returned any food to them because they were always on point except for this day. Goodbye Zaap
It’s been a while I’ve been somewhere that I can write a good review. Well I met my match today. Ordered pineapple fried rice and yellow curry with a strawberry coconut macaroon sandwich to finish off the yummies. The curry was full of flavor and the tofu was cooked to perfection. The rice was poppin and just as expected. The dessert was divine. If you’ve never had Laos or Thai please start here, you’ll be pleasantly surprised and spread the word. If you have any questions or need suggestions Sieng at the register is wonderful and will guide you to perfection.
*UPDATE* from 5 star to 1.. I ordered my regular dish, laab salad. I have ordered this like 15 times in the last 6 months. So I have a good reference point and they are consistent.
This time, I decided to go light onion. Guy repeats the order like 3 times. Just happened 15 minutes ago so i remember clear as day. I get home, and it's easily 2x or more onion than a regular one. Come on man. Massive chunks of onion. I get it that the onion makes up some heft so they save on the beef but damn. It's like easily half a purple onion in half of a small Togo box.
2nd update: I added another picture with just the onion.
The phone always offline.
If you are the owner of this restaurant.
You can try to call to your restaurant at 1 - 3p.m. randomly.
You will know what I mean.
They hang up the line for a reason.
We tried to call them for a hour now.
Ordered the drunken noodles and red curry level 3 spice level. Both dishes came out being sweet with no spice. As a Thai food lover I did not enjoy this.
Good taste.good service
I love this location. Food is always delicious!!! Friendly workers
A huge fan of Zaaps! The staff are always so friendly and the food never disappoints. Good portion sizes for the price. Efficient take away system as well. The pad se ew is a must!!
Yum! Food is so good and atmosphere is great!
good Thai food very spicy but very flavorful
Good, quick, quality Asian fusion. Spring rolls are good too.
Excellent noodles!!!! The crab cheese spring rolls were just okay but overall good experience.
Incredible tasting pad thai and pad woonsen!!! I also want to give a special shoutout to the excellent customer service at this place. I made a mistake substituting brown rice in my pad thai order (what was I thinking?!) - the gentleman at the front asked me about it, corrected it and gave me brown rice on the side. Will come back, I highly recommend to anyone who has a craving for SE asian food!!
Authentic taste, good location, mediocre parking, ample amount of food. will definitely come back and visit this place again and again!
What an amazing find. I recommend the Basil Rice with Beef OMG!! My wife and I loved how savory our food was! They also have Thai iced tea, another tasty treat!
You can also choose your own level of spicy!! I tried Mild and I think that's a good starting point for anyone who wants a bit of a bite and not hurt. Lol
I ordered Pad Kee Mow. Very tasty, freshly made and packed perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got my order in less that 8 minutes. Portion size is good for 1 person and the prices are decent.
Delicious! Loved the curry and the fried rice!
Hopefully you are reading this at Zaap or on your way : ) The food, armosphere and experience were above expectations. Fresh and tasteful meal with a comfortable laid back atmosphere. A truly "Excellent" experience!
Seriously delicious! I ordered the yellow curry and my sister ordered the Zaap Combo with wings, and let me tell you, this is some of the BEST Thai curry and Thai wings I have ever had!!!! The curry is thick and creamy and the wings are crispy on the outside and tender/juicy on the outside. Not to mention it is very affordable.
I highly recommend this restaurant to any Thai food lovers.
Food was top tier and they really showcase Lao and Thai culture and food.
Really impressed with them and their customer service. It was a great stop to get full flavor food.
Excellent food and excellent service!! I had the red curry and Thai tea and loved them both. The staff was very attentive and helpful!
Excellent little restaurant! Love the casual dining environment. As to food we had the crab and cream cheese roll-ups, chicken pad thai, and chicken yellow curry. To be honest, the crab rolls were just ok. The pad thai was very good. But the star of the show was definitely the curry and deserves 5 stars on its own. Seriously, one of the best curries I've had in years. Will definitely be back!
Super disappointed! I placed my lunch order online and received an email that it was placed. When I went to pick it up, there were construction workers there and my lunch was not. I tried to call to ask for a refund, but got no answer. I don't even know if the food is good because of this. Thankfully, my bank is great and refunded me. I hope you'll shut down the online ordering until you're back opened.
Wow so impressed after my first visit here! It was both myself and my friends first and the owner/manager ? Enthusiastically showed us around the menu, answering any questions. You could tell they were proud of their place and any time you see that, you know you’re going to have some amazing food!
Richard is soooo hospitable! His customer service is STELLAR. He made us feel like family when we came in. The food was amazing! I had my favorite which is Tom Kha, the crab cream cheese rolls, dancing garlic ringlets, and Lao Iced Coffee, and al were SPOT ON. I’ll definitely be coming back!
We ate here due to the great reviews and were sadly disappointed. We spent $50 worth of food and it all just tasted like fish oil. The Thai tea had a date of being made yesterday, this really bothered me since they charge a high price for their food, I expected fresh Thai tea. Not something that’s old and bee sitting in a fridgeWe have a great Asian spot by us out in the sticks and was hoping this would be worth venturing into town for, but we were sadly wrong.
Love this place. Clean. Friendly. Lots of options for food. Everything I’ve tried so far is really tasty and fresh. Great food and service.
Incredible!! Ordered the combination fried rice and I am very pleased. Filled with large slices of beef, chicken and shrimp🦐. Sometimes fried rice can seem mundane or you get a couple pieces of shrimp mostly veggies, Not here! Everything is seasoned well and I am happy with the proportion. Well worth the price. I will be back!
Food was average. The prices are expensive. The server seems shy to take orders and the staff was not friendly to me but I watched them be extremely courteous to other nationalities intentionally. I would not revisit it recommend just based on my experience.
Neat place. Very friendly, helpful people & quick food.
Tasty, however, my fried rice was waaay to salty. :(
They are slow with Grubhub orders. It took so long to finish one order. They don’t even know that they have received an online order. Have a better system for your online orders. Bad customer service :/
The food is good. I Can't understand why their restroom is "closed due to Covid" since all the other Dallas restaurants I go to have open restrooms for their customers.
Amazing service and outstanding food!!! New favorite Thai spot!!
Love this place! Their Laotian Fried Rice is amazing, the service has always been fantastic and they are so quick about getting your order ready!
Food is amazing. I got the Tom Kha, and it was fabulous. The lady working tonight was really nice too.
Pad Kei Mow with beef is unreal
Pad Thai with shrimp is perfect
Holiday Beef is no good.... very thin like paper and oily
Best Thai food I have had since living in SF
Staff is very nice
Great location for food! Takeout or eat in the food is always great! Recommended for a quick and easy dinner.
